Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Kamala Rises: Democrat Panic over Biden Reaches Fever Pitch
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It is Verdict with center, Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I hope you had a fabulous Fourth of July with
- 0:06Speaker 2: your family, and we've got a lot to talk about.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna guess it's going to be a lot about
- 0:11Speaker 2: Biden because that's what everybody else in the country was
- 0:13Speaker 2: chatting about over the weekend.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Well, that's certainly true.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Chaos ensues in the Democrat Party, paddic is continuing to grow.
- 0:22Speaker 4: But before we talk about that, I will say you
- 0:24Speaker 4: and I are both sitting here. It is Sunday night,
- 0:26Speaker 4: We're both in Houston, Texas, and a hurricane is preparing
- 0:30Speaker 4: to make landfall in the Great State of Texas. It
- 0:32Speaker 4: is expected down south of here, somewhere around Victoria. It's
- 0:37Speaker 4: expected to make landfall late tonight, somewhere one or two
- 0:41Speaker 4: in the morning.
- 0:41Speaker 3: So just before this.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Podcast goes live to the world, and the projections are
- 0:47Speaker 4: right now that it may accelerate to a category one
- 0:51Speaker 4: or category two hurricane and then move north up to
- 0:55Speaker 4: you and me in Houston. We're anticipating anywhere from five
- 0:57Speaker 4: inches to as much as fifteen inches of depending on
- 1:01Speaker 4: where you where you are, So so let me say,
- 1:03Speaker 4: first of all, to everyone in Texas, stay safe.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Don't.
- 1:07Speaker 4: You and I were talking right before we started filming this.
- 1:10Speaker 4: You were saying, it's your first hurricane in Houston. I'm
- 1:13Speaker 4: a lifelong Houstonian and hurricanes are part of life here.
- 1:16Speaker 4: But the best advice is stay safe. Don't risk anything.
- 1:20Speaker 4: If you see water and don't know how deep it is,
- 1:22Speaker 4: don't drive into it. Where people are most frequently in
- 1:25Speaker 4: harm's way is they drive into what they think is
- 1:28Speaker 4: shallow water and it ends up being deeper and more dangerous.
- 1:31Speaker 3: And so keep your family safe.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Our prayers are going to be with everyone along the
- 1:34Speaker 4: Gulf coast tonight, and make make sure you don't take
- 1:38Speaker 4: any unnecessary risks and you listen to first responders and
- 1:43Speaker 4: stay at a harm's way.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt about it.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I also want to ask you about this week you
- 1:50Speaker 2: were hanging out with fam. How many people around fourth
- 1:53Speaker 2: of July asked you about Joe Biden? Everyone look look
- 1:57Speaker 2: fourth of July.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I had a great, great several days with with my
- 2:01Speaker 4: youngest daughter Catherine. The two of us together hung out.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Now Heidi and Caroline went on a mission trip to Africa,
- 2:07Speaker 4: which was a fantastic experience.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Shake.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Caroline went with Heidi and with Heidie's mom and and
- 2:12Speaker 4: and they were in Zambia. Had an incredible time there.
- 2:15Speaker 4: But but you know, I got to say it over
- 2:17Speaker 4: the fourth of July, you know, we were we were
- 2:19Speaker 4: barbecuing burgers. Unlike Chuck Schumer, we actually know to turn
- 2:23Speaker 4: the heat on and to cook the burger before you
- 2:26Speaker 4: put the cheese on. So so so that's that's something
- 2:29Speaker 4: apparently Democrats don't understand how actually agrilla burger. But just
- 2:34Speaker 4: about every every durn conversation standing around on the fourth
- 2:38Speaker 4: of July was what's happening with Biden?
- 2:40Speaker 3: Is he going what's going to happen? And and and
- 2:43Speaker 3: and I.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Got to say, we have seen the chaos spreading. Uh,
- 2:48Speaker 4: we've seen the White House damage control really not going
- 2:52Speaker 4: well at all. And and also on today's podcast, I'm
- 2:57Speaker 4: going to modify my prediction at least some what I
- 3:01Speaker 4: now think there's a significant chance we may get an
- 3:04Speaker 4: outcome different than what I predict.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna explain all that.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh, we're changing predictions. I like this.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Let me tell you about our friends of our Patriot
- 3:12Speaker 2: Mobile real quick. If you're with Big Mobile right now.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You may not realize you are helping give massive donations
- 3:19Speaker 2: to democratic causes, candidates and organizations, including Planned Parenthood. That's right,
- 3:27Speaker 2: and that's why more than a decade ago, there was
- 3:29Speaker 2: a group of conservatives that said, we got to stop
- 3:32Speaker 2: giving our money to these companies that are fighting against
- 3:34Speaker 2: our values. It hate our values, it hate our family values.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And that is exactly why they started Patriot Mobile. Now,
- 3:40Speaker 2: look right now, in twenty twenty four, the world of
- 3:43Speaker 2: technology has changed so much that switching your cell phone
- 3:47Speaker 2: is actually never been easier. You don't have to go
- 3:51Speaker 2: to a store to do it like you used to.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You don't have to worry about how long it's going
- 3:55Speaker 2: to take you to get your phone changed or your
- 3:59Speaker 2: numbers switched over. It's all done easily now. And coverage
- 4:04Speaker 2: is also a thing of the past. Right now, everybody
- 4:07Speaker 2: you're using the same exact towers that you're using right now,
- 4:10Speaker 2: So if you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're gonna get
- 4:13Speaker 2: the same exact coverage you are accustomed to. But here's
- 4:17Speaker 2: the best part. When you switch, about five percent of
- 4:20Speaker 2: your bill every single month actually goes back to support
- 4:23Speaker 2: conservative causes, candidates and organizations. That you actually help choose
- 4:28Speaker 2: to support, which is amazing. And you're gonna be standing
- 4:32Speaker 2: up for your Second Amendment rights, your First Amendment rights.
- 4:35Speaker 2: You're gonna be standing up for the sanctity of life
- 4:38Speaker 2: and supporting our military, our veterans, and our first responder heroes.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So how do you switch? Like I said, it's ever
- 4:44Speaker 2: been easier. Call Patriot Mobile and use the promo code Verdict.
- 4:48Speaker 2: You're actually gonna get free activation as well. Nine seven
- 4:52Speaker 2: to two Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot nine
- 4:56Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot, or online at patriotmobile dot co.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Slash verdict that's Patriot moo dot com slash verdict. All right,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna go back to what you said a moment ago, Senator.
- 5:07Speaker 2: You said, you're you're going to quote slightly change your
- 5:10Speaker 2: prediction for everyone that doesn't know.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You predicted nine almost ten months.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Ago now that if Joe Biden was replaced, it would
- 5:20Speaker 2: be at the convention and they would parachute in Michelle Obama.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So how are we changing it. I'm intrigued.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Well, that was my prediction, as you said, nine ten
- 5:29Speaker 4: months ago, and at the time my prediction then, as
- 5:32Speaker 4: I said, there's a real possibility. I didn't believe nine
- 5:35Speaker 4: ten months ago that it was greater than fifty percent,
- 5:38Speaker 4: but I thought there was a real, significant possibility. There
- 5:41Speaker 4: were Democrats who were flighting floating trial balloons even back then.
- 5:45Speaker 4: The media was floating trial balloons even back then. And
- 5:48Speaker 4: as I laid out my reasoning, I thought Michelle Obama
- 5:51Speaker 4: was the natural choice for them, and where if I
- 5:55Speaker 4: were a Democrat, that's where I would push. Now, over
- 5:58Speaker 4: the last couple of months, I adjusted those odds to
- 6:03Speaker 4: fifty to fifty or greater that they would pull the
- 6:05Speaker 4: cord on Joe Biden. As things started getting worse and
- 6:09Speaker 4: worse and worse, I thought the odds were getting higher
- 6:11Speaker 4: and higher. And then after the disastrous debate, you and
- 6:15Speaker 4: I both watched the debate. We watched it real time,
- 6:17Speaker 4: and then we sat down and recorded the podcast immediately
- 6:21Speaker 4: after the podcast and immediately after the debate. Rather and
- 6:25Speaker 4: my assessment that night is I now think the chances
- 6:28Speaker 4: are eighty percent that the Democrats pull the cord on
- 6:32Speaker 4: Joe Biden. And what I said then is and parachute
- 6:35Speaker 4: Michelle Obama in Again, if I were a Democrat, I'd
- 6:38Speaker 4: be all in on that, and In fact, if that happened,
- 6:41Speaker 4: it would be incredibly dangerous. We've seen polling that puts
- 6:44Speaker 4: Michelle Obama in a really strong position, and as someone
- 6:48Speaker 4: who wants Trump to win in November, I don't want
- 6:50Speaker 4: to see that happen. What is interesting, though, the Democrats
- 6:54Speaker 4: don't seem to be heading there with the speed that
- 6:56Speaker 4: you would anticipate. And so here's how I'm going to
- 6:59Speaker 4: alter my addiction. I still think it is eighty percent
- 7:03Speaker 4: that they pull the cord on Joe Biden, but I'm
- 7:07Speaker 4: now going to modify it and say among that eighty percent,
- 7:11Speaker 4: I think it is fifty to fifty whether they go
- 7:14Speaker 4: with Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris. And I didn't think
- 7:19Speaker 4: they'd go with Kamala because Kamala is a much weaker candidate.
- 7:22Speaker 4: But it's interesting we have seen Democrats positioning, fighting, pushing
- 7:27Speaker 4: for Kamala to be the choice. And so, as I'm
- 7:30Speaker 4: handicapping it right now, in terms of who's going to
- 7:33Speaker 4: be the Democrat nominee come November, I put the odds
- 7:37Speaker 4: forty percent Michelle Obama, forty percent Kamala Harris, and twenty
- 7:41Speaker 4: percent Joe Biden.
- 7:42Speaker 2: All right, let's go over. Why you think that Kamala
- 7:46Speaker 2: has jumped up for me personally? I do think they're
- 7:50Speaker 2: kind of forced in a position where she's the front runner.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Just from the aspect of the money. The money that's
- 7:57Speaker 2: raised by the Biden heres campaign can only stay with
- 8:01Speaker 2: Biden slash Harris. It can't go to somebody else quickly
- 8:05Speaker 2: and the campaign apparatus. Is that why you're saying she
- 8:09Speaker 2: has a much higher chance now than you said before.
- 8:12Speaker 4: No, No, the money. At the end of the day,
- 8:14Speaker 4: I'll sort itself out. The Democrats are not going to
- 8:17Speaker 4: be lacking for money in November. They've got gazillionaires who
- 8:22Speaker 4: will devote whatever money is necessary to try to elect
- 8:25Speaker 4: a Democrat that's not going to constrain their choice. Look,
- 8:28Speaker 4: Michelle Obama, what I laid out ten months ago was
- 8:33Speaker 4: that Kamala was obviously a deeply flawed candidate. But if
- 8:36Speaker 4: you wanted to push her aside, the Democrats could not
- 8:40Speaker 4: push her aside and replace her with a white guy
- 8:43Speaker 4: because their party, they're such bean counters. Their party would implode.
- 8:47Speaker 4: And so the Gavin Newsom noticed. I put the odds
- 8:50Speaker 4: of Gavin Newsom at zero percent. I don't think because
- 8:56Speaker 4: he's a white guy, and he can't.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I just wanted to hear you say it because it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's so funny.
- 9:01Speaker 4: No, No, it's the Democrat Party. If they pushed an
- 9:04Speaker 4: African American woman aside for a white guy, particularly a
- 9:07Speaker 4: rich white California surfer dude, that their party would would
- 9:12Speaker 4: spontaneously combust. So they're faced in a quandary where the
- 9:19Speaker 4: only human being on planet Earth who can push Kamala
- 9:22Speaker 4: aside as Michelle Obama, because she has the same demographic
- 9:25Speaker 4: characteristics as Kamala, and she she is the Democrat equivalent
- 9:31Speaker 4: of royalty.
- 9:32Speaker 3: She she she now has has Camelot.
- 9:34Speaker 4: The Kennedys have gone, and the Obamas have replaced replaced them,
- 9:39Speaker 4: and and and so she can parachute in as standing
- 9:42Speaker 4: above the fray. What is interesting, though, is that nobody
- 9:50Speaker 4: on the Democrat side has made any move towards that
- 9:53Speaker 4: in the day since the debate, which which.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I'm surprised of.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Instead, what you've seen is moultiple Democrats beginning to push Kamala,
- 10:04Speaker 4: yeah hard, push her hard, and say, look, if Joe
- 10:09Speaker 4: steps down, it's got to be Kamala.
- 10:11Speaker 3: It's no one else, It's Kamala. It' Kamala, it's Kaba.
- 10:13Speaker 4: So for me, it's not the money, it's you get
- 10:16Speaker 4: invested in something, you start leaning in, the stakeholders start
- 10:20Speaker 4: getting behind it, that the press voices start getting behind,
- 10:23Speaker 4: the members of Congress and the senators start getting behind it.
- 10:27Speaker 4: And once you're you can't be a little bit pregnant.
- 10:30Speaker 4: And I think as people get further and further down
- 10:32Speaker 4: that road, it becomes harder to check to change the
- 10:37Speaker 4: course you're on. And you're already seeing lots of stories
- 10:41Speaker 4: from the Democratic side. No, no, no, no, Kamala is
- 10:44Speaker 4: a much stronger candidate than you think. All of you
- 10:46Speaker 4: people who who think she's a weak candidate, you're all wrong,
- 10:50Speaker 4: and she's going to be Madam President. We saw, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 4: Jim Clyburn go on TV and say, look, I support
- 10:56Speaker 4: Biden Harris, and that means I support Joe Biden even
- 10:58Speaker 4: if Kamala Harris is not on the ticket. But he
- 11:01Speaker 4: goes on to say, and that means I support Kamala
- 11:03Speaker 4: Harris even if Joe Biden's not on the ticket. Now
- 11:06Speaker 4: that's a big deal because without Clideburn, Biden doesn't get
- 11:09Speaker 4: the nomination. In twenty twenty, he played a pivotal role
- 11:12Speaker 4: in stampeding Democrats away from Bernie Sanders to Joe Biden.
- 11:17Speaker 4: And I think that was a serious signal that the
- 11:21Speaker 4: powers that be, they're freaking out, but more of them
- 11:26Speaker 4: are getting behind Kamala than I thought would happened.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Let's talk about this Stepanophoulis interview, and you and I
- 11:32Speaker 2: mentioned that it was an important interview. Obviously at the
- 11:35Speaker 2: end of last week. It was an interview that was
- 11:38Speaker 2: actually heavily watched. Some of the ratings show that a
- 11:41Speaker 2: lot of Americans watched it. It was obviously a topic
- 11:44Speaker 2: of conversation for July fourth with people with their family,
- 11:48Speaker 2: with their friends, and if you're a Democrat, I think
- 11:51Speaker 2: it's actually this interview universe right now because you're trying
- 11:54Speaker 2: to figure out what the heck are we going to.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Do this interview.
- 11:57Speaker 2: As I watched it, I don't think it helped the
- 12:00Speaker 2: president at all. There was one moment in there that
- 12:04Speaker 2: was actually shocking to me. And Stepanopolis asked the president
- 12:08Speaker 2: did you watch the debate afterwards? And he paused and
- 12:13Speaker 2: he said, no, I don't think I did. You would
- 12:18Speaker 2: know if you watched the debate that was days earlier,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you wouldn't say no, I don't think I did. I
- 12:27Speaker 2: don't think this interview helped the president at all.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Well, look, it is a weird answer. I don't think
- 12:33Speaker 4: I watched it. And I will say this, I've done.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I don't know a ton of political debates. I don't
- 12:40Speaker 4: think I've ever watched one of the debates.
- 12:42Speaker 5: I did.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I've watched little snippets. I've watched little excerpts from him.
- 12:47Speaker 4: You know, Frank Luntz does his dial group things, and
- 12:51Speaker 4: I've had had Frank for several debates. Has like gone through,
- 12:55Speaker 4: say a half dozen moments of the debate and played
- 12:59Speaker 4: you know, a minute or no seconds or two minutes
- 13:01Speaker 4: of it and showed me the dial groups of what
- 13:04Speaker 4: people liked and what people didn't. So I've done that analysis.
- 13:07Speaker 4: But I don't believe I've ever sat down and watched
- 13:10Speaker 4: a debate and its entirety after it happened. But that
- 13:13Speaker 4: being said, if you ask a person three days later
- 13:16Speaker 4: did you watch the debate to say I don't know
- 13:18Speaker 4: is kind of weird.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's a disaster of a debate, so it
- 13:22Speaker 2: was even more of a relevant question. You've never had
- 13:24Speaker 2: a disaster debate like Joe Biden did either.
- 13:28Speaker 4: By the way, I will tell you that there was
- 13:29Speaker 4: one I did, and you don't know about this, but
- 13:33Speaker 4: long ago, all right, So when I was first running
- 13:35Speaker 4: for separate stories.
- 13:36Speaker 2: By the way, for everybody that's listening, this is when
- 13:38Speaker 2: it gets good, So take notes.
- 13:40Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:40Speaker 4: So I'm first running for Senate. It's a twenty twelve election.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It was twenty eleven, and nobody's ever heard of me.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm a candidate. I'm at two percent in the polls.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Never been you know, never been elected to nothing. Last
- 13:52Speaker 4: thing I was elected to was student council. And so
- 13:55Speaker 4: I'm out there. I'm working. I'm working. And we had
- 13:58Speaker 4: we had an event in San Antonio, a fundraiser, and
- 14:01Speaker 4: it was a fundraiser at the home of a wonderful woman,
- 14:04Speaker 4: a dear friend in San Antonio. Had people come and
- 14:07Speaker 4: we stayed at the dinner till till about midnight, and
- 14:12Speaker 4: then we drove from San Antonio back to Houston. And
- 14:15Speaker 4: so I got to my house at four in the morning,
- 14:19Speaker 4: and I slept from four in the morning till about
- 14:22Speaker 4: six in the morning, and I had a breakfast at
- 14:24Speaker 4: like seven or seven thirty. So I got maybe two
- 14:27Speaker 4: hours sleep. That night, we had a debate for the
- 14:32Speaker 4: Senate race. And it was an interesting debate because at
- 14:36Speaker 4: the time, David Dewhurst, who was Lieutenant governor and was
- 14:39Speaker 4: the leading candidate who was supposed to walk into a coronation,
- 14:42Speaker 4: he didn't participate at all, and so it was it
- 14:45Speaker 4: was several of us that were considered by the media
- 14:48Speaker 4: to be the kind of second tier, but it was
- 14:50Speaker 4: the only Senate debate. You may not know this either,
- 14:52Speaker 4: that Dan Patrick, who's now the Lieutenant governor of Texas.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Dan participated in. He didn't actually run for Senate, but
- 14:59Speaker 4: he kind of thought about it. He thought about it
- 15:00Speaker 4: enough to participate in the debate and that debate that night,
- 15:05Speaker 4: I'd had between an hour and two hours sleep, and
- 15:07Speaker 4: as the debate was going on, to be absolutely honest, Bet,
- 15:11Speaker 4: I was just falling asleep. I was literally like nodding
- 15:13Speaker 4: over there and my answers, I think some of my
- 15:17Speaker 4: answers were shorter than Biden. You know, like at some point,
- 15:23Speaker 4: I don't know, they asked me something like, you know,
- 15:25Speaker 4: would you abolish so security? I don't remember, something like that,
- 15:28Speaker 4: and I gave like a three word answer, no. I
- 15:31Speaker 4: would not, and that they seem clever. But it's really
- 15:37Speaker 4: bad debate strategy. And I and and you know my
- 15:41Speaker 4: political team really well, I am not a yeller. I
- 15:44Speaker 4: don't yell at my team. You could ask JJ. I
- 15:48Speaker 4: yelled at him and I said, look, I think I'm
- 15:53Speaker 4: relatively decent at this stuff, but you can't send me
- 15:57Speaker 4: into a debate with an hour or two hour sleep.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I mean, that's just not And I sucked that night.
- 16:02Speaker 3: It was.
- 16:02Speaker 4: It was a miserable debate. Thankfully, there were like twelve
- 16:05Speaker 4: people on planet Earth that watched it and so as
- 16:07Speaker 4: I was dozing off. It did not impact the race
- 16:10Speaker 4: one way or the other, but it sure did impact me.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I was never going to let that happen again.
- 16:15Speaker 2: That's hey, it only takes once, right and then you
- 16:17Speaker 2: learn your lesson on that one for sure. If you
- 16:20Speaker 2: are Kamala Harris now, and I want to know, do
- 16:24Speaker 2: you think she'll be held accountable for her lives? And
- 16:30Speaker 2: hold on, I want to play it for you first.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I want to play it for you. Okay, this is
- 16:34Speaker 2: Kamala Harris over the years. Okay, this isn't just like
- 16:38Speaker 2: in the last week covering for the cognitive ConA Joe Biden,
- 16:42Speaker 2: will she have to answer for this.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm going to play it, and I want your reaction.
- 16:46Speaker 5: We have a very bold and vibrant president in Joe Biden, but.
- 16:52Speaker 6: A majority of Americans, according a majority of Democrats according
- 16:56Speaker 6: to our new poll, say they don't want President Biden
- 16:59Speaker 6: to run again.
- 16:59Speaker 5: What do you say to that, I mean, George, I
- 17:03Speaker 5: think that age is more than a chronological fact. To
- 17:05Speaker 5: be very frank with you, it's about thinking about whether
- 17:10Speaker 5: we have in our leader, which we do in Joe Biden,
- 17:12Speaker 5: somebody who was bold, I mean, think about it. And
- 17:15Speaker 5: in Joe Biden, we have a president who is probably
- 17:21Speaker 5: one of the boldest and strongest American presidents we have
- 17:26Speaker 5: had in his response to the needs of the American people.
- 17:31Speaker 5: But he is an extraordinary leader. And I wish that
- 17:35Speaker 5: people could see what I see, because there's only one
- 17:39Speaker 5: person who says, behind that resolute desk, you're fifty eight.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Now. If you win the second term, as you and
- 17:46Speaker 7: the President are running to do, he would be eighty
- 17:49Speaker 7: six at the end of it. The Wall Street Journal
- 17:51Speaker 7: had a poll showing two thirds of Democrats say Joe
- 17:54Speaker 7: Biden is too old to run again. Are you prepared
- 17:59Speaker 7: to be commandering?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Yes, I am if necessary. But Joe Biden is gonna
- 18:05Speaker 5: be fine. And let me tell you something. I work
- 18:07Speaker 5: with Joe Biden every day. The work that under Joe
- 18:11Speaker 5: Biden's leadership, our administration has accomplished is transformative.
- 18:15Speaker 8: To very prominent Washington Post articles today talking about President
- 18:19Speaker 8: Biden's age, and that's a been concerned among the young
- 18:22Speaker 8: voters and in growing poll numbers, that's a be concerned.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Are are people right to be concerned about his age.
- 18:29Speaker 2: At this point?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Well, let me just say this.
- 18:32Speaker 9: When I talk to these young voters, what they want
- 18:35Speaker 9: is a leader who is in touch with the problems
- 18:38Speaker 9: of today and has a vision for what we can
- 18:40Speaker 9: do today and in the future to deal with it.
- 18:43Speaker 9: President Biden is the first president to take on in
- 18:47Speaker 9: any substantial way the issue of the climate crisis.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I'm not going I mean you you listen to this
- 18:52Speaker 2: and I've got another four minutes.
- 18:53Speaker 1: But that's just some of the highlights.
- 18:56Speaker 2: She whied to the American people and has been definitely
- 18:59Speaker 2: involved in this cover up she for years. It says
- 19:02Speaker 2: Biden is quote very bold and vibrant. Then she says
- 19:05Speaker 2: he's tireless in terms of working and says he's gonna
- 19:09Speaker 2: be fine. He is in good shape, he's in good health.
- 19:12Speaker 2: She lied to the American people. So if she gets
- 19:15Speaker 2: the nomination, how big is this going to come back?
- 19:18Speaker 2: I think of of a of a conversation with Donald
- 19:21Speaker 2: Trump and whoever he picks when they go up against her.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Look, I think in terms of the media, absolutely not
- 19:27Speaker 4: at all. They they do not care. She repeated the line,
- 19:31Speaker 4: so did every other Democrats, so did every other White
- 19:33Speaker 4: House staff, or so did all of the all of
- 19:35Speaker 4: the corporate media. You know, it reminds me from from
- 19:38Speaker 4: from the line from the movie The Manchurian Candidate. You
- 19:40Speaker 4: remember that, that that movie with Frank Sinatra in it,
- 19:43Speaker 4: and and and they're all brainwashed to support this candidate,
- 19:46Speaker 4: and they all say the identical line. They all say,
- 19:50Speaker 4: Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human
- 19:53Speaker 4: being I've ever known in my life. And they all
- 19:56Speaker 4: repeat that because that's what they were brainwashed to say. Look,
- 20:00Speaker 4: Kamala talking about Joe Biden is the same things. He's
- 20:04Speaker 4: the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever
- 20:07Speaker 4: known in my life. He's most smart, he's brilliant. He
- 20:10Speaker 4: can do differential equations in his head. Wow, and they're
- 20:15Speaker 4: just lying. They know they're lying. They knew they were lying.
- 20:18Speaker 4: But you know what, the press knew they were lying.
- 20:22Speaker 4: The Democrats knew they were lying. They didn't care that
- 20:25Speaker 4: they were lying. And the frustrating thing is they don't
- 20:28Speaker 4: care now. They'd be perfectly fine to prop Joe Biden
- 20:33Speaker 4: up and we can it bernies him for the next
- 20:36Speaker 4: four years if it keeps him in power. The only
- 20:39Speaker 4: reason they care is because they're looking at poll numbers saying,
- 20:43Speaker 4: oh crap, people don't want to elect someone president who's
- 20:46Speaker 4: noncompassment is if they thought they could get away with
- 20:49Speaker 4: it politically, they'd be perfectly fine with our commander in
- 20:52Speaker 4: chief being unable to tie his own shoes.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, great point.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I want to tell you about blackout coffee right now
- 20:58Speaker 2: as I'm sitting here talking to you, drinking a cup
- 21:00Speaker 2: of coffee. Now, I'm drinking the instant coffee because I
- 21:03Speaker 2: just needed one cup while we got this show done tonight,

- 21:24Speaker 2: give your money them anymore, and don't take an average
- 21:26Speaker 2: cup of coffee as a way of starting your day.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I got the radio seven am every morning, and I
- 21:32Speaker 2: want to make sure I have the best cup of
- 21:34Speaker 2: coffee I can get. And Blackout Coffee is where it's at.

- 22:27Speaker 1: All right, let me ask you another question.
- 22:29Speaker 2: After the George Stephanopolis interview took place, Biden refused to
- 22:34Speaker 2: commit to an independent medical evaluation. If he was trying
- 22:39Speaker 2: to get everyone to calm down, wouldn't your campaign say
- 22:44Speaker 2: yes to doing this unless they're hiding something. Would you
- 22:47Speaker 2: be willing to undergo an independent medical evaluation that included
- 22:51Speaker 2: neurological and cognitive cognitive tests.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And release the results to the American people.
- 22:56Speaker 10: Look, I have a cognitive test every single day. Every day,
- 23:00Speaker 10: I have that test everything I do. You know, not
- 23:04Speaker 10: only am I campaigning, but I'm running the world.
- 23:07Speaker 5: And that sound how it sounds like.
- 23:08Speaker 10: Iprobaly, But we are the central nation in the world,
- 23:12Speaker 10: and I don't know that was right. And every single day,
- 23:15Speaker 10: for example, today, before I come out here, I'm on
- 23:17Speaker 10: the phone with the Prime minister. You or I shouldn't
- 23:21Speaker 10: get into detail.
- 23:22Speaker 2: But he can't remember which prime minister he's on the
- 23:25Speaker 2: phone with. It says I got this under control, guys,
- 23:28Speaker 2: I don't need a cognitive test from a doctor.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I do it every day well and look to be fair,
- 23:33Speaker 4: he may well have had that test. I mean, we
- 23:35Speaker 4: also had the stories break this past week. That's the
- 23:39Speaker 4: New York Post. President Biden's physician met with Parkinson's disease
- 23:43Speaker 4: specialist in the White House. A top Washington neurologist had
- 23:48Speaker 4: a meeting with President Biden's personal doctor at the White
- 23:50Speaker 4: House earlier this year. Visitors logs reviewed by the Post
- 23:54Speaker 4: show doctor Kevin Canard, a Parkinson's disease expert at Walter
- 23:58Speaker 4: Reed Medical Center, met with doctor Kevin O'Connor and two
- 24:01Speaker 4: others at the White House Residence clinic on January seventeenth,
- 24:04Speaker 4: according to records, which emerge as questions continue to swirl
- 24:08Speaker 4: about the eighty one year old president's mental health in
- 24:11Speaker 4: the wake of his debate debacle last week with former
- 24:14Speaker 4: President Trump. Now that there was yet another headline from
- 24:19Speaker 4: the Washington Examiner which is even more stunning, which is quote,
- 24:23Speaker 4: top Parkinson's disease specialist visited White House ten times since
- 24:29Speaker 4: twenty twenty two, according.
- 24:30Speaker 3: To the visitors' logs. And I'm going to.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Read from that story, President, but Joe Biden's physician met
- 24:35Speaker 4: with a top Washington, DC neurologists who specialized in Parkin's
- 24:39Speaker 4: disease earlier this year. Cannard's name shows up in the
- 24:44Speaker 4: visitors logs ten times since November fifteenth, twenty twenty and
- 24:50Speaker 4: Ron Jackson, who Ronnie Jackson, who now the congressman from Texas,
- 24:54Speaker 4: a good friend who used to be the White House physician,
- 24:57Speaker 4: said quote, it is highly likely they were talking about Biden.
- 25:03Speaker 4: He should only be regularly treating the President and the
- 25:06Speaker 4: first family. That is the White House physician ten times.
- 25:11Speaker 4: It's a very simple question. Why do you have a
- 25:14Speaker 4: top Parkinson's disease specialist coming to the White House ten
- 25:18Speaker 4: times since twenty twenty two.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, ten times. So if that is the case, And
- 25:25Speaker 2: I love how now all of a sudden, the media
- 25:26Speaker 2: is doing their job right, Like they're doing their job
- 25:29Speaker 2: and they're and they're actually digging and they're asking questions.
- 25:32Speaker 3: But it's all they didn't report on that a month ago.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, No, they're doing it now, but it's not for
- 25:38Speaker 2: the right reasons. And that's why I say, don't give
- 25:40Speaker 2: them any credit. It's because they've gotten their marching orders
- 25:44Speaker 2: from Democratic donors. And the Democratic Party that your job
- 25:47Speaker 2: now is to get rid of Joe Biden. I mean
- 25:49Speaker 2: the Stepanopolis interview. I wanted to give him credit, but
- 25:53Speaker 2: I know what's happening. I'm not an idiot. This is
- 25:56Speaker 2: not the normal George Stepanopolis.
- 25:57Speaker 1: His job.
- 25:58Speaker 2: They sent him there to take down Biden, to be
- 26:02Speaker 2: the hit man to end his presidency. And the way
- 26:05Speaker 2: he treated him was the way he would treat Donald
- 26:07Speaker 2: Trump in an interview. It was shocking to watch, but
- 26:10Speaker 2: you have to understand they're doing it because they think
- 26:13Speaker 2: they're going to lose their power, because they think they're
- 26:15Speaker 2: going to lose with Joe Biden.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Yeah, they're panicking. We're seeing Democrats panic, We're seeing the
- 26:21Speaker 4: media panic. They want to push Joe out. It's why
- 26:23Speaker 4: I put the odds at eighty percent. And look over
- 26:26Speaker 4: the last week, the drip, drip, drip keeps coming. So
- 26:29Speaker 4: The New York Times in this past week reported quote
- 26:32Speaker 4: a senior White House official, though unnamed, as telling the
- 26:35Speaker 4: New York Times Biden should stand aside. That's a senior
- 26:38Speaker 4: White House official in the Biden white House, mind you.
- 26:41Speaker 4: The Washington Post on July fifth, Senator Mark Warner a
- 26:44Speaker 4: Democrat works to gather Senate Democrats to ask Biden to
- 26:48Speaker 4: exit the race. Then, on July seventh, Axios reports that
- 26:52Speaker 4: the Democratic senators Biden huddles called off. And here's what
- 26:56Speaker 4: Axios reported quote, Senate Democrats won't meet Monday to discuss
- 27:00Speaker 4: their support for President Biden continuing his reelection bid, despite
- 27:04Speaker 4: an effort by Senator Mark Warner to organize such a meeting.
- 27:09Speaker 4: This every day we have now I think it's five
- 27:13Speaker 4: Democrat House members who have called for Biden to step down,
- 27:18Speaker 4: and every day it keeps getting more and more and more,
- 27:21Speaker 4: and there's nothing that the Biden white House has done
- 27:23Speaker 4: to stop the bleeding.
- 27:24Speaker 2: They've also tried to act like the President's willing to
- 27:27Speaker 2: do interviews anywhere at any time, and this has now
- 27:30Speaker 2: turned into another major problem for this white House. You
- 27:33Speaker 2: have one radio host who's now been fired and another
- 27:36Speaker 2: one that is under major scrutiny because in two different cities,
- 27:41Speaker 2: in two different places in America, the same exact interview
- 27:46Speaker 2: took place with Joe Biden. CNN calling out one of
- 27:51Speaker 2: the hosts as they interview these radio hosts who spoke
- 27:53Speaker 2: with Biden, and they had these interviews and they knew
- 27:57Speaker 2: what they were doing. They heard the questions both interviews
- 28:00Speaker 2: and separate cities, and they're like, this is the same
- 28:02Speaker 2: damn interview happening two times over. And then CNN's like,
- 28:06Speaker 2: all right, we're all in favor of getting Joe Biden out.
- 28:09Speaker 2: So they called out the White House for this. Take
- 28:10Speaker 2: a listen, Andrea.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Let me ask you here about your interviews and something.
- 28:14Speaker 6: I listened to both of them, and there's something that's
- 28:17Speaker 6: similar here. Each were you asked four questions, and maybe
- 28:20Speaker 6: that's what you were allowed to ask by the campaign
- 28:23Speaker 6: or the White House, but they were essentially the same questions.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Both interviews about accomplishments progress in your respective state, what's
- 28:30Speaker 6: at stake in the election, what he has to say
- 28:33Speaker 6: about his debate performance, and what he would say to
- 28:35Speaker 6: voters who think their vote doesn't matter or might sit
- 28:38Speaker 6: this election out. Were those questions given to you by
- 28:41Speaker 6: the White House or did you have for the campaign
- 28:44Speaker 6: or did you have to submit questions ahead of this interview?
- 28:50Speaker 1: The questions were sent to me for approval. I approved
- 28:53Speaker 1: to them.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Okay, So the White House sent the questions to you
- 28:57Speaker 6: ahead of the interview, Yes, okay.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I got several questions, eight of them and the four
- 29:03Speaker 1: them were.
- 29:03Speaker 11: Chosen with the ones that I approved.
- 29:05Speaker 6: Okay, and the reason I ask. It's not a criticism
- 29:07Speaker 6: of either view. It's just that if the White House
- 29:09Speaker 6: is trying now to.
- 29:10Speaker 10: Prove the.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Vim vigor acuity of the president, I don't know how
- 29:16Speaker 6: they do that by sending questions first before the interview,
- 29:21Speaker 6: so that the president knows what's coming.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Now.
- 29:24Speaker 11: The campaign and his statements did not deny providing these
- 29:28Speaker 11: questions to that radio show host, but they did add
- 29:31Speaker 11: that the interview was not conditioned on acceptance of those questions,
- 29:34Speaker 11: and added that the any reporter can ask the questions
- 29:37Speaker 11: that they see fit. Now today, the campaign is also
- 29:40Speaker 11: saying that they're changing their practices going forward and that
- 29:43Speaker 11: they will no longer be recommending questions ahead of interviews.
- 29:48Speaker 11: One source familiar with the Biden booking operation over at
- 29:50Speaker 11: the campaign said, while interview hosts have always been free
- 29:53Speaker 11: to ask whatever questions they please, moving forward, we will
- 29:57Speaker 11: refrain from offering suggested questions.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I mean, you listen to that, and not only did
- 30:05Speaker 2: this one person that was in that interview, that radio
- 30:08Speaker 2: host and your lawful Sanders, she's been forced resigned from
- 30:12Speaker 2: WRD Radio after admitting her post debate interview with President
- 30:16Speaker 2: Biden included questions that were pre selected by the Biden
- 30:19Speaker 2: campaign team. The station owner said it was furious by
- 30:25Speaker 2: this the presidency of the Philadelphia base station, announcing a
- 30:28Speaker 2: statement posted on Sunday this the interview featured predetermined questions
- 30:33Speaker 2: provided by the White House, which violates our practice of
- 30:37Speaker 2: remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners. As
- 30:41Speaker 2: a result, Miss Lawful Sanders and wr D Radio have
- 30:45Speaker 2: mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Now.
- 30:48Speaker 2: WRD, by the way, is Pennsylvania's only black owned talk
- 30:52Speaker 2: radio station. So this was a terrible day for the
- 30:57Speaker 2: history and heritage of the station to basically realize that
- 30:59Speaker 2: the White House called and said, hey, you want Biden,
- 31:01Speaker 2: all right, we'll give you Biden on your show and
- 31:05Speaker 2: give you this press, but only if you ask the
- 31:07Speaker 2: four questions that we tell you to ask. And not
- 31:10Speaker 2: only do they do it in this city, but they
- 31:13Speaker 2: also did it back in Milwaukee as well.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Well. Look a couple observations.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Number one, it's very interesting to know that there are
- 31:20Speaker 4: apparently still people at CNN who know how to do journalism.
- 31:23Speaker 4: I didn't think they knew how to do that. But
- 31:25Speaker 4: you actually saw, very briefly a CNN journalist asking questions,
- 31:29Speaker 4: behaving like a real journalist. And you're right, it's because
- 31:32Speaker 4: the narrative is shifted and they're now, I think, happy
- 31:35Speaker 4: to push Biden out. Two months ago they would not
- 31:38Speaker 4: have been willing to do that. But secondly, this thing
- 31:42Speaker 4: is utterly corrupt. It shows how completely in bed with
- 31:48Speaker 4: the Democrats that the media is. That you have the
- 31:53Speaker 4: White House of the campaign and I guess they don't
- 31:55Speaker 4: specify which one it is, giving the questions to the
- 31:58Speaker 4: interviewer saying here's what you will ask, which means, by
- 32:01Speaker 4: the way, that Joe Biden is probably reading the answers
- 32:05Speaker 4: that you know he And it makes you wonder how
- 32:09Speaker 4: many other reporters have done that at the White House
- 32:11Speaker 4: press briefing when Biden has a list in front of him,
- 32:14Speaker 4: call on so and so, how many times does he
- 32:17Speaker 4: know the question and read the answer to it. And look,
- 32:22Speaker 4: you've worked at media a long time. I've been in
- 32:25Speaker 4: the Senate for twelve years. For people listening to this podcast,
- 32:29Speaker 4: you need to understand this is not normal. It's at
- 32:33Speaker 4: least not normal. If you're not a corrupt Democrat.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, look, I do this fair amount
- 32:41Speaker 2: with people that I interview right over the years, and
- 32:44Speaker 2: I've had campaigns or officely say, hey, the Senator or
- 32:48Speaker 2: the congressman or the governor has this piece of legislation,
- 32:52Speaker 2: if you'd please ask him a question about that. It's
- 32:55Speaker 2: something it's very important, and then it's going to be introduced.
- 32:58Speaker 2: And I'm fine with that. But if you gave me
- 33:00Speaker 2: four questions to ask and said you get them only,
- 33:04Speaker 2: if you asked these four questions and these four questions only,
- 33:06Speaker 2: I would tell them to pound sand no matter who
- 33:09Speaker 2: it was, because that's not doing an interview. That's that
- 33:12Speaker 2: that that that's a scripted moment. You might as well
- 33:15Speaker 2: just have the president sit there at the White House
- 33:16Speaker 2: and say, here are the four questions are going.
- 33:18Speaker 1: To answer today that I chose.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Yeah, Look, it's I've done hundreds of interviews, if not
- 33:26Speaker 4: maybe thousands of interviews. I've done a crap ton of interviews. Uh,
- 33:30Speaker 4: to the best of my knowledge, I've certainly never submitted questions.
- 33:33Speaker 4: The best of my knowledge, no one on my team has. Now,
- 33:36Speaker 4: what is typical is what you just said. If you're
- 33:39Speaker 4: doing an interview. Let's say I'm going on Hannity. It's
- 33:43Speaker 4: typical that that that my press team will talk with
- 33:46Speaker 4: Hannity's producers and they'll discuss some topics. So if you're
- 33:49Speaker 4: going to talk about the Biden debate, or if you're
- 33:52Speaker 4: going to talk about illegal immigration, or sometimes there's some
- 33:57Speaker 4: story that just broke of, like you know, th real
- 33:59Speaker 4: the or the terrorist you know, being the the eight
- 34:03Speaker 4: terrorists suspected terrorists from Tajikistan just released. If there's a
- 34:07Speaker 4: story that just broke the producer will tell my press team, Hey,
- 34:11Speaker 4: Sean wants to ask about this. That's typical, so you
- 34:14Speaker 4: have some idea what the topic is you're discussing, so
- 34:18Speaker 4: that you can be prepared. But I'll tell you my
- 34:22Speaker 4: guess is of the interviews I do, at least half
- 34:24Speaker 4: of them, they asked me something that is not a
- 34:27Speaker 4: topic that they mentioned at all, So you know, it's
- 34:30Speaker 4: it's helpful to have. Okay, if we're going to do Israel,
- 34:33Speaker 4: I should probably be up on the latest developments of
- 34:35Speaker 4: what's happened on Israel in the last few days. But
- 34:39Speaker 4: it is an absolute violation of journalistic ethics and norms
- 34:46Speaker 4: to simply read the questions the campaign handed you, and
- 34:51Speaker 4: and the absolute arrogance that the Biden campaign has that
- 34:56Speaker 4: they they fully assume that that that fake journalists will
- 35:01Speaker 4: be more than happy to comply.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like they're shopping for anyone that will play
- 35:05Speaker 2: a game at this point. And the worst part for me,
- 35:09Speaker 2: I think is the fact that they did this in
- 35:12Speaker 2: response to the debate to try to convince the American
- 35:16Speaker 2: people that he is easy on his feet, that he
- 35:20Speaker 2: can do these interviews, that he's not scripted, that he
- 35:24Speaker 2: can talk off the cuff, when in fact, we pull
- 35:26Speaker 2: back the curtain yet again, and it's another lie of
- 35:29Speaker 2: the American people.
- 35:30Speaker 1: It's all fake. It was all set up.

- 37:35Speaker 2: and it deals again with the media. One the media hypocrisy,
- 37:39Speaker 2: I think is an all time high. But how long
- 37:42Speaker 2: until the media gets back in line and it's business
- 37:45Speaker 2: as usual? How many more days can they continue to
- 37:48Speaker 2: go after Joe Biden if he refuses to drop out?
- 37:52Speaker 4: Well, I think the instant Biden is out and they
- 37:54Speaker 4: coordinate the next person, then the media will absolutely fall
- 37:57Speaker 4: in line and it will become a straight on cheer leading.
- 38:00Speaker 4: It will be hallelujah, hallelujah. The problems are all solved.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Now we must all vote for either Kamalo or Michelle
- 38:06Speaker 4: Obama and and save America and and stop stop Orange
- 38:10Speaker 4: Man bad. I mean, and the it would be instantaneous.
- 38:14Speaker 4: But you know, let me make a couple of quick
- 38:17Speaker 4: more observations on that point. You know, as you and
- 38:20Speaker 4: I were talking about doing interviews and getting questions ahead
- 38:23Speaker 4: of time. As I said, I've done a gazillion of
- 38:25Speaker 4: them and and and have not had the questions ahead
- 38:28Speaker 4: of time. But you know, I was actually thinking about it.
- 38:32Speaker 4: On this podcast, We've interviewed a bunch of folks. Now
- 38:36Speaker 4: I'm not a journalist. I don't pretend to be a journalist. Uh,
- 38:39Speaker 4: but even when we interview people on this podcast, we've
- 38:42Speaker 4: never given people of questions ahead of time. And I
- 38:45Speaker 4: actually thought back to it to an interview that that
- 38:49Speaker 4: that that on this podcast actually but before you were
- 38:52Speaker 4: my co host, what it was Michael Doles and me
- 38:55Speaker 4: where we interviewed Bill Barr. And we interviewed Bill Barr
- 38:58Speaker 4: at the Department of Justice. He was the sitting Attorney General.
- 39:01Speaker 4: And it was interesting. His communication staff was really freaked
- 39:05Speaker 4: out and they were like, Okay, well, well, how's this
- 39:07Speaker 4: gonna be and and listen. I've known Bill for twenty
- 39:11Speaker 4: years and we're friends, and I'm telling him, relax, I'm
- 39:14Speaker 4: not I'm not gonna play games. This, this is not
- 39:16Speaker 4: this is not a gotcha interview. This is not trying
- 39:19Speaker 4: to you know, go stick it to him. And I didn't,
- 39:22Speaker 4: but it ended up being It was one of our
- 39:24Speaker 4: most listened podcasts we've ever done, in part because Bill
- 39:28Speaker 4: was someone who would come across on TV as as
- 39:31Speaker 4: as pretty stiff and tight and you know, very controlled,
- 39:35Speaker 4: and because he and I are friends, he was relaxed
- 39:39Speaker 4: and we were cutting up. And Bill as funny as hell.
- 39:42Speaker 4: I mean, he has this wickedly sarcastic sense of humor,
- 39:46Speaker 4: and and it came out we had a great, free range,
- 39:49Speaker 4: free ranging interview that look what a podcast is good.
- 39:54Speaker 3: It sounds like a.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Couple of guys sitting at a cafe having dinner and
- 39:59Speaker 4: and just shooting the bree He's talking about what's going on.
- 40:01Speaker 4: But even then, with someone I'd known twenty years, I
- 40:04Speaker 4: don't even think I told him the topics we were
- 40:06Speaker 4: going to discuss. We just sat down and now I
- 40:09Speaker 4: wasn't playing gotcha games. But that's what we did. But
- 40:13Speaker 4: let me make a second point about just how astonishingly
- 40:21Speaker 4: rapidly the media can do one hundred and eighty degree reversal.
- 40:25Speaker 4: So on this podcast, we've talked a lot about Hunter
- 40:28Speaker 4: Biden and the whole Hunter Biden investigations and the trials,
- 40:33Speaker 4: and for months and months and months and for years
- 40:36Speaker 4: and years and years, the White House narrative and the
- 40:38Speaker 4: corporate media narrative was Hunter is a poor, troubled son.
- 40:44Speaker 4: He struggles with substance abuse, He's a sad soul, and
- 40:50Speaker 4: it's all about him. But they've said he has nothing, nothing,
- 40:53Speaker 4: nothing to do with the White House. No, no, no, no, no,
- 40:55Speaker 4: no Hunter, when he was making millions of dollars from
- 40:57Speaker 4: every corrupt oligarch in every enemy of America across the planet,
- 41:02Speaker 4: whether the Chinese Communists or the Russians or what have you,
- 41:05Speaker 4: that had nothing to do with favors from Papa Joe.
- 41:08Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 41:09Speaker 4: Hunter is not at all connected to Joe Biden the
- 41:11Speaker 4: White House. That's been their their relentless talking point for years. Correct, Yes,
- 41:17Speaker 4: all right, I want to read you this paragraph from
- 41:20Speaker 4: Axios on July seventh, Behind the Curtain on bendable Biden
- 41:26Speaker 4: versus breaking point Dams quote. We're now in uncharted historic waters.
- 41:33Speaker 4: President Biden, backed by First Lady Jill Biden, and his
- 41:37Speaker 4: convicted son Hunter, who's serving as de facto gatekeeper to
- 41:43Speaker 4: his dad, says that nothing besides an act of God
- 41:47Speaker 4: will persuade him to quit his reelection campaign. So without
- 41:51Speaker 4: missing a beat, the corporate media can now suddenly admit
- 41:55Speaker 4: Hunter is quote de facto gatekeeper to his dad. This
- 42:01Speaker 4: is the same Hunter who about twelve minutes ago, their
- 42:05Speaker 4: walking storyline was no, no, no, no, Hunter's never met Joe Biden.
- 42:08Speaker 4: I'm sorry, they have nothing to do. He doesn't even
- 42:09Speaker 4: know where the White House is. No, no, no, no, pay
- 42:12Speaker 4: no attention to the man behind the curtain. This is
- 42:14Speaker 4: not about Joe Biden and his corruption.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the media. They'll get back in line soon,
- 42:18Speaker 1: don't worry.
- 42:19Speaker 3: I get stantaneously.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I give him a week and a half, two weeks,
- 42:23Speaker 2: and then they'll start dialing back the full court press
- 42:26Speaker 2: to get Biden out, because they're then going to be
- 42:28Speaker 2: afraid maybe we can't get rid of him by when
- 42:31Speaker 2: we want to. So we got to pull back a
- 42:33Speaker 2: little bit. And I think going into these conventions coming up.
- 42:37Speaker 2: It's gonna be very interesting to see how they even
- 42:39Speaker 2: deal with him if Joe Biden's still there at the
- 42:41Speaker 2: convention and he's quote still the guy. I also think this,
- 42:45Speaker 2: I gotta ask Ki Bona's question, do you think Donald
- 42:48Speaker 2: Trump is gonna have to, in essence, just put the
- 42:50Speaker 2: VP pick on hold until they figure out who they're
- 42:53Speaker 2: running against?
- 42:54Speaker 3: That is an awfully good question.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Look, look away from you
- 42:59Speaker 1: and I go into the con Yeah. Yeah, we have
- 43:01Speaker 1: no idea who the VP candidate is, and I'm not
- 43:03Speaker 1: sure he does either.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Look, it is not a crazy question to ask.
- 43:09Speaker 4: The Trump campaign has said repeatedly that they'll announce the
- 43:12Speaker 4: VP by the convention, and you know, usually the VP
- 43:15Speaker 4: gives a big speech at the convention the day before
- 43:19Speaker 4: the president does. It is a tricky question because if
- 43:24Speaker 4: you don't know who you're running against, that is certainly
- 43:27Speaker 4: a real factor in trying to decide who VP is.
- 43:31Speaker 4: It would I have not looked at the legal questions
- 43:34Speaker 4: at how complicated it would be to dame a VP
- 43:36Speaker 4: after the convention, but it would not be insane for
- 43:41Speaker 4: Trump to delay that choice until he has some real
- 43:45Speaker 4: confidence who his opponent's going to be.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's where I'm sitting there just scratching my head.
- 43:50Speaker 2: It's gonna be a fun one. Don't forget to center.
