- 0:01Speaker 1: The DC pipe bomb suspect has now made his first
- 0:04Speaker 1: court appearance. The family literally yelling in support of a
- 0:09Speaker 1: man who made pipe bombs to kill innocent men, women,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and children. The man accused of planning the pipe bombs
- 0:15Speaker 1: near the Capitol appeared in that Washington courtroom, and the
- 0:19Speaker 1: emotional family members called out messages of support. Now I
- 0:24Speaker 1: want you to take a listen to what Pam Bondy
- 0:27Speaker 1: had to say, crediting old, good fashioned police work for
- 0:31Speaker 1: the DC pipe bomb suspect's arrests. Brian Cole, the Virginia
- 0:36Speaker 1: man accused of placing pipe bombs outside the Republican National
- 0:39Speaker 1: Committee and the Democrat National Committee buildings in DC in
- 0:43Speaker 1: January of twenty twenty one, made his appearance. And what's
- 0:47Speaker 1: even more shocking is why did it take so long?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Was it because the FBI decided to look the other
- 0:53Speaker 1: way on purpose? Call thirty was informed about the charge
- 0:58Speaker 1: against him as he appeared before that judge. Government prosecutors
- 1:02Speaker 1: told the magistrate that Cole spoke to law enforcement for
- 1:05Speaker 1: over four hours on Thursday, and they would provide a
- 1:08Speaker 1: transcript of the conversation for Cole's defense attorney over the weekend.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Cole was wearing a tan jumpsuit and glasses and told
- 1:17Speaker 1: the judge he did not understand the charge against him.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Cole was not shackled for this appearance. Members of Cole's
- 1:24Speaker 1: family were in the court room and yelled in support
- 1:27Speaker 1: as he was let out. We love you, Brian. We're
- 1:29Speaker 1: here for you, baby, is what you could hear them yelling. Now,
- 1:33Speaker 1: the next step is a detention hearing. On December the fifteenth,
- 1:36Speaker 1: Cole remained in federal cussy pending the next court proceedings. Now, also,
- 1:41Speaker 1: let me remind you that during twenty nineteen and twenty twenty,
- 1:45Speaker 1: Cole purchased multiple items consistent with components that were used
- 1:49Speaker 1: to manufacture the pipe bombs placed at the RNC and DNC,
- 1:53Speaker 1: authorities said in the courthouse. Then there's surveillance footage released
- 1:58Speaker 1: by the FBI shows suspect placing the two explosive devices
- 2:02Speaker 1: near the buildings in DC. The explosives found hours later
- 2:06Speaker 1: by law enforcement were determined by the FBI to be
- 2:09Speaker 1: viable devices that could have been detonated, resulting in serious
- 2:13Speaker 1: injury or deaths. Cole was charged with transporting an explosive
- 2:17Speaker 1: device in inter state commerce and with malicious attempt to
- 2:21Speaker 1: destroy property using explosive materials. On Friday, the FBI Director
- 2:26Speaker 1: Caspertel criticized the Biden administration over the handling of the case, saying, quote,
- 2:33Speaker 1: this is a case that should have been sold by
- 2:35Speaker 1: the previous administration. Five years later, justice is finally being delivered.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It still wasn't easy, details of which will be shared
- 2:44Speaker 1: more about at an appropriate time. But when you let
- 2:48Speaker 1: good cops be cops, this is what happens. Here's more
- 2:53Speaker 1: of the background on this and the Attorney general bonding
- 2:56Speaker 1: on Fox News Channel.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Good Morning, the US Attorney four d ZE Agent nine
- 3:00Speaker 2: Piro described a search for the suspect as finding a
- 3:03Speaker 2: needle in a haystack. But after years of looking, they
- 3:06Speaker 2: believe the man that allegedly left the pipe bombs outside
- 3:09Speaker 2: of the RNC and DNC on January fifth, twenty twenty one,
- 3:13Speaker 2: is a thirty year old Brian Cole Junior. He is
- 3:15Speaker 2: now facing two federal charges. Agents visited more than twelve
- 3:19Speaker 2: hundred homes and businesses, conducted more than one thousand interviews,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and reviewed approximately thirty nine thousand video files. But investigators
- 3:27Speaker 2: say it was a new look at old information in
- 3:30Speaker 2: the original file that broke the case. Court document state
- 3:34Speaker 2: Cole's credit card history shows throughout twenty nineteen and twenty
- 3:37Speaker 2: twenty he bought several materials that matched the components of
- 3:40Speaker 2: the bombs. These include galvanized pipes and encaps, battery connectors,
- 3:45Speaker 2: kitchen timers, and electrical wire. Cell phone records were also crucial.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Cell phone pings indicate Cole's phone was allegedly in the
- 3:53Speaker 2: area of the RNC and DNC the night of the crime.
- 3:56Speaker 2: US officials say this is only the beginning of the
- 3:59Speaker 2: investigation that are still search warrants being carried out. Authorities
- 4:02Speaker 2: were spotted outside of Cole's home in Woodbridge, Virginia on Thursday.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Investigators believe Cole acted alone. We have not yet learned
- 4:10Speaker 2: of a motive, and he could face more charges. Range
- 4:13Speaker 2: Ainsley and Brian.
- 4:14Speaker 3: All right, thanks so much, Maddie. Let's bring in the
- 4:17Speaker 3: Attorney General for the United States, Pam Bondi, Madame Attorney General,
- 4:20Speaker 3: thanks so much for joining Fox and for ins this morning.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Thank you, Thanks Lawrence.
- 4:23Speaker 3: So let's talk about this case. Because the technology that
- 4:26Speaker 3: y'all use to get this suspect off the street first,
- 4:30Speaker 3: it was a huge root win for the country, but
- 4:32Speaker 3: also for your department.
- 4:34Speaker 5: It's not that new.
- 4:36Speaker 3: So why didn't the last FBI and Department of Justice
- 4:39Speaker 3: catch this guy Lawrence?
- 4:41Speaker 6: And that's the great question. This case languished, It's set
- 4:45Speaker 6: there for four years collecting dust. No one did anything
- 4:50Speaker 6: to solve this. And right when Cashptel and Dan Bongino
- 4:53Speaker 6: came in, Dan said to me, Dan said to all
- 4:56Speaker 6: of us, I'm going to solve this case. He put
- 4:58Speaker 6: a new team on it, working with Jinny and Piro,
- 5:01Speaker 6: our US attorney, with Todd Blanche, with all of our
- 5:04Speaker 6: attorneys at Maine Justice. A new team gathered on this case,
- 5:08Speaker 6: old evidence, new people, great police work.
- 5:11Speaker 5: That's all.
- 5:12Speaker 6: It is, good old fashion police work. And it solved
- 5:16Speaker 6: a case right from where I'm sitting. This bomb was
- 5:20Speaker 6: planted at the RNC, a pipe bomb at the DNC.
- 5:23Speaker 6: They were real, Thank goodness, they didn't detonate. Both bombs
- 5:27Speaker 6: were real. And Laurence. Something else really special about the investigation.
- 5:32Speaker 6: It was kept quiet. The entire investigation did not leak.
- 5:36Speaker 6: It was kept quiet because we got someone who is
- 5:39Speaker 6: charged with a very very dangerous crime off the streets
- 5:43Speaker 6: and more to come. Pam, what did his parents know.
- 5:46Speaker 6: I mean he was living at their house.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Did they see was he building bombs in his bedroom?
- 5:51Speaker 5: You know?
- 5:52Speaker 6: All I can say is what you just saw. You
- 5:54Speaker 6: saw a big, beautiful house. That's the suspect where he
- 5:57Speaker 6: was living with his mother. That's been reported. I can't
- 6:02Speaker 6: talk about any of the evidence, but it's ongoing. They
- 6:04Speaker 6: are pouring through evidence. You know, you saw. Hundreds of
- 6:08Speaker 6: agents are on this case because this is a very
- 6:10Speaker 6: dangerous person. And again I believe there are more charges
- 6:13Speaker 6: to come. But this is just the combination of great
- 6:16Speaker 6: police work and all of my agencies working together, main Justice, FBI,
- 6:22Speaker 6: US Attorney, along with the DC, Metro police, and the
- 6:26Speaker 6: Secret Service in so many agencies. And that's what President
- 6:29Speaker 6: Trump has promised to do, make DC safe again and
- 6:32Speaker 6: the entire country.
- 6:33Speaker 7: So, Pam, the key is going to be because he
- 6:36Speaker 7: put in front of the RNC, the bomb and the
- 6:38Speaker 7: DNC but thankfully didn't detonate. Are we closer to finding
- 6:42Speaker 7: out what his motivation was? Is he upset with politics generally?
- 6:46Speaker 5: Who did he follow? Who did he vote for?
- 6:49Speaker 7: Now? Where did he show up in other places? Can
- 6:51Speaker 7: you share any of that yet?
- 6:52Speaker 6: Yeah? I can't. I've heard a lot of you know,
- 6:56Speaker 6: reporting and rumors and online things, but I'm going to
- 6:59Speaker 6: leave that up to the FB.
- 7:02Speaker 1: This really is incredible to see the hard work of
- 7:05Speaker 1: men and women in uniform and what a massive victory
- 7:09Speaker 1: this is to make sure that a very dangerous individual
- 7:13Speaker 1: is off the streets. There's also the politics in here
- 7:16Speaker 1: which are just weird. I'll give you a great example
- 7:19Speaker 1: of that. CNN host Jake Tapper misidentified the Washington DC
- 7:23Speaker 1: pipe bomb suspect Brian Cole as a thirty year old
- 7:26Speaker 1: white man, just before airing photos revealing him to be
- 7:30Speaker 1: a African American man, a black man. Brian Cole, a
- 7:33Speaker 1: thirty year old white man from the DC suburbs, is
- 7:36Speaker 1: charged with transport and explosive device in inner state commerce
- 7:40Speaker 1: and the malicious destruction by means of explosion, Tapper said
- 7:43Speaker 1: in a show the Lead. Several minutes later, Taper's own
- 7:46Speaker 1: program aired photos of Brian Cole. He is a African
- 7:50Speaker 1: American man. This is another example of the politics. Why
- 7:55Speaker 1: wouldn't you want to just tell the truth and say
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's an African American man that did this.
- 8:00Speaker 5: There's also others that have lied.
- 8:01Speaker 1: They said they believe this is going to be a
- 8:03Speaker 1: January sixth, Donald Trump maga person. When caught, we found
- 8:08Speaker 1: out that this individual is anything but that. It's also
- 8:12Speaker 1: clearly time to investigate the FBI who tried to take
- 8:16Speaker 1: down Donald Trump but then also decided not to investigate
- 8:22Speaker 1: a crime like this, which brings me to the central point.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Thank goodness, on election day, Donald Trump was elected because
- 8:30Speaker 1: if he wasn't, this guy would still be walking among
- 8:33Speaker 1: us and had been for the last five years. Somebody
- 8:39Speaker 1: needs to answer for that. Why why for five years
- 8:44Speaker 1: did this happen? How is it that there were no
- 8:47Speaker 1: new tips, no new leads. How is it possible that
- 8:53Speaker 1: now is when we finally got him? And was it
- 8:56Speaker 1: because Democrats decided this vigil didn't actually fit the narrative.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That's the question everyone should be asking, which brings me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to Cash Pattel.
- 9:09Speaker 5: He is the man in charge the FBI.
- 9:11Speaker 1: The Attorney General Pam Bonding and Judge Janine both standing
- 9:15Speaker 1: side by side at the Department of Justice as they
- 9:17Speaker 1: announce the arrest of the pipe bomb suspect. You have
- 9:21Speaker 1: to ask yourself, why did it take literally years for
- 9:24Speaker 1: someone to do their job. I want you to listen
- 9:26Speaker 1: to what Cashpatel had to say his words, and again
- 9:29Speaker 1: I played for you first because I wanted you to
- 9:32Speaker 1: understand what the people working under him feel like when
- 9:36Speaker 1: it comes to actually getting to do their job. You
- 9:39Speaker 1: heard it there from Dan Bongino. But the man in
- 9:43Speaker 1: charge the FBI. Listen to what he says.
- 9:45Speaker 8: When you attack American citizens, when you attack our institutions
- 9:50Speaker 8: of legislation, when you attack our nation's capital, you attack
- 9:54Speaker 8: the very being of our way of life. In this FBI,
- 9:58Speaker 8: in this Department of Justice stand here to tell you
- 10:01Speaker 8: that we will always refute it and combat it. We
- 10:04Speaker 8: will provide the safest country the nation has ever seen
- 10:07Speaker 8: under President Trump's leadership here and that's what we did
- 10:09Speaker 8: here today with great resolve on a case of massive
- 10:12Speaker 8: public importance, as it should be. An individual who's now
- 10:15Speaker 8: alleged to have placed multiple explosive devices to blow up
- 10:19Speaker 8: multiple people at multiple officials, innocent civilians, is now arrested
- 10:24Speaker 8: thanks to the brave men and women of the FBI
- 10:27Speaker 8: and the Inner Agency. I want to take a moment
- 10:29Speaker 8: to thank the Metropolitan Police Department, the United States Capitol Police,
- 10:34Speaker 8: our brave prosecutors, the Department of Justice, and our leader,
- 10:36Speaker 8: Attorney General Pambondi and US Attorney Jeanine Piro, whose relentless
- 10:41Speaker 8: work on this case made this possible. As the Attorney
- 10:44Speaker 8: General said, we did not discover any new information. What
- 10:48Speaker 8: we did an investigation spearheaded by the Deputy Director and
- 10:53Speaker 8: the adic of our Washington Field office, brought in a
- 10:55Speaker 8: new team of investigators and experts, re examined every piece
- 10:59Speaker 8: of evidence, sifted through all the data, something that the
- 11:03Speaker 8: prior administration refused and failed to do. As a result
- 11:07Speaker 8: of that, we generated numerous investigative leads, executed multiple legal
- 11:11Speaker 8: process with the US Attorney partners.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Let me just hit pause there. Did you notice what
- 11:16Speaker 5: cash Patel said?
- 11:18Speaker 1: He said that, in essence, the last administration didn't even try,
- 11:23Speaker 1: didn't even actually work hard on the leads. Now, if
- 11:28Speaker 1: you're if this is some petty crime and you're saying, hey,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I just can't do this because it's petty and I
- 11:33Speaker 1: don't have time and we've got other major crimes that
- 11:36Speaker 1: we're having to figure out, okay, you could have that conversation.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You could have that argument. You could say, look, there's
- 11:43Speaker 1: other things, like I got to solve a murder over
- 11:45Speaker 1: here that take precedent. That's not the case. The case
- 11:51Speaker 1: here is pretty damn clear. You have an individual that
- 11:54Speaker 1: goes into our nation's capital and sets down two bombs.
- 11:59Speaker 1: They could have killed countless innocent people. And what did
- 12:03Speaker 1: they do under the prior administration?
- 12:05Speaker 5: Nothing?
- 12:07Speaker 1: They just stopped caring, or no, let me rephrase that.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It sounds like they didn't care at all. Forget stop caring.
- 12:15Speaker 1: They never even tried, right, they never even tried. And
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think that is the part that is so shocking
- 12:26Speaker 1: here is that it was just like who cares?
- 12:30Speaker 5: Now? Is that because they knew who he was?
- 12:32Speaker 1: Is that because they didn't have a problem with it
- 12:34Speaker 1: because they set a pipe bomb at the Republican National Committee?
- 12:38Speaker 1: Did they not care because they were in theory, this
- 12:42Speaker 1: probably would have blown up a bunch of conservatives that
- 12:46Speaker 1: showed up on the you know, January sixth, the nation's capital, right,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and that was maybe the target. So they're like, look, hey,
- 12:53Speaker 1: this was literally a guy targeting Trump's supporters. So that's
- 12:58Speaker 1: why we're okay with it. There's a lot of questions
- 13:01Speaker 1: here that should be answered. Why did our government not
- 13:08Speaker 1: accidentally fell deliberately stop trying to find someone that did
- 13:13Speaker 1: what I just described? That is the question that everyone
- 13:18Speaker 1: should be asking, and that's the question that everyone should
- 13:21Speaker 1: be angry over. Now, I want you to keep listening
- 13:24Speaker 1: to the FBI director and I want you to hear
- 13:26Speaker 1: what he has to say on the second half of
- 13:28Speaker 1: this as he's talking about how frustrated he is, as
- 13:30Speaker 1: he should be like this is if you're in law enforcement,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you should be enraged that you know that law that
- 13:39Speaker 1: your government purposely failed. You deliberately chose to look the
- 13:46Speaker 1: other way, deliberately chose to stop trying to find a
- 13:51Speaker 1: individual that put pipe bomps. And we don't know what
- 13:54Speaker 1: the hell else this guy did in the meantime. We
- 13:56Speaker 1: don't know what he did in the last three or
- 13:58Speaker 1: four years. We have no idea. Keep listening.
- 14:01Speaker 8: It's incredible and came to this conclusion today, and that
- 14:05Speaker 8: is why we were able to safely secure this individual
- 14:09Speaker 8: into custody. Remember, we were dealing with an individual who's
- 14:12Speaker 8: alleged to have made bombs. We cannot do this sort
- 14:16Speaker 8: of takedown in haste because it endangers the lives of
- 14:20Speaker 8: law enforcement. And this FBI will never allow the lives
- 14:23Speaker 8: of law enforcement and our prosecutors to be put in jeopardy.
- 14:26Speaker 8: This execution was flawless in terms of teamwork, resilience, and
- 14:32Speaker 8: just a good old fashioned way of police getting the
- 14:36Speaker 8: job done. When you let good cops be cops, this
- 14:39Speaker 8: is what happens. I'm eternally grateful to the team behind me,
- 14:43Speaker 8: to the leadership at the FBI who made this possible.
- 14:46Speaker 8: But I do want to highlight when I introduced the deputy.
- 14:49Speaker 8: He made this case and so many others, including summer heat,
- 14:53Speaker 8: his priority to come in here and solve it for
- 14:56Speaker 8: the American people. And today I'm proud to stay in
- 14:59Speaker 8: here before you and say we solved it. He will
- 15:02Speaker 8: have his day in court, the American public and the
- 15:05Speaker 8: world will learn even more information through the legal process.
- 15:08Speaker 8: As we have committed under this Attorney General, we are
- 15:11Speaker 8: the most transparent law enforcement operation in US history. But
- 15:15Speaker 8: we are also going to make sure accountability is delivered
- 15:17Speaker 8: to its fullest extent, and that happens in the courts
- 15:20Speaker 8: of law with our US attorneys and our prosecutors. So
- 15:23Speaker 8: we will divulge information when it is prudent and constitutionally permissible,
- 15:27Speaker 8: while upholding the safeguards of this case to make sure
- 15:30Speaker 8: that the people that this individual intended to victimize, get
- 15:33Speaker 8: the accountability to deserve, and most importantly, to deliver in
- 15:37Speaker 8: President Trump's promise to secure our nation's capital and the
- 15:40Speaker 8: rest of the cities in this country, to make sure
- 15:42Speaker 8: that Americans are allowed to go out free and securely
- 15:46Speaker 8: in their neighborhoods, and that people around the world are
- 15:48Speaker 8: allowed to visit our nation's capital. And they now have
- 15:51Speaker 8: that trust.
- 15:52Speaker 1: This should never have become a political thing.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Why is it?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Because Democrats refuse use to do what the law says
- 16:02Speaker 1: when it comes to law and order, They pick winners
- 16:05Speaker 1: and losers. If you're one of their favorites, you can
- 16:09Speaker 1: commit a crime and they don't care. The FBI Director
- 16:14Speaker 1: Cash Matel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, they are looking
- 16:18Speaker 1: at this and they are furious. It's unprecedented what we
- 16:23Speaker 1: have witnessed and now what we know. It is shocking
- 16:28Speaker 1: to realize just how bad the FBI was run under
- 16:33Speaker 1: the prior administration. The question that I think everyone should
- 16:38Speaker 1: be asking is number one, what did they know and
- 16:41Speaker 1: why did they not pursue it? Why did they just
- 16:45Speaker 1: give up? Why did they just look the other way?
- 16:49Speaker 1: I would even take it a step further and say
- 16:52Speaker 1: why did they help this guy stay free for so
- 16:55Speaker 1: many years when he was a threat to society, a
- 16:58Speaker 1: threat to all of us, by the ways, a threat
- 17:01Speaker 1: to Democrats.
- 17:02Speaker 5: When a bomb.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Goes off, it doesn't say, are your Republican or Democrat?
- 17:06Speaker 1: It doesn't say who did you vote for? When a
- 17:08Speaker 1: bomb goes off. Let's go back to the Boston bombing
- 17:11Speaker 1: in the marathon. They don't care. It doesn't care if
- 17:14Speaker 1: you're young. It doesn't care if you're old. It doesn't
- 17:19Speaker 1: care if you're black or white. It doesn't care if
- 17:22Speaker 1: you're Democrat or Republican. It doesn't care when the bomb
- 17:26Speaker 1: goes off. Innocent people die in this administration for some reason,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I should say, the prior administration, the Biden administration, said no, no,
- 17:36Speaker 1: we're going to play politics because that's more important than
- 17:38Speaker 1: anything else, and that is.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Sick as it gets.
- 17:44Speaker 1: We're getting more information about exactly what happened with the
- 17:47Speaker 1: DC pipe bomber and how he was finally arrested, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: we're also learning the shocking news that there was no
- 17:54Speaker 1: new tip that came in that caused the arrest to happen.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It was actually just information that hadn't been pursued, or
- 18:02Speaker 1: information that hadn't been put together with evidence by the
- 18:07Speaker 1: prior administration.
- 18:08Speaker 5: And the FBI.
- 18:10Speaker 1: What we now know is there's a man that's been
- 18:12Speaker 1: charged for planting explosive devices outside the RNC and the
- 18:17Speaker 1: DNC on January the fifth of twenty twenty one. And
- 18:21Speaker 1: the only reason why we know who he is now
- 18:23Speaker 1: is because Donald Trump and the men and women who
- 18:26Speaker 1: put in charge of the FBI and the DOJ are
- 18:29Speaker 1: now able to do their jobs the right way, which
- 18:32Speaker 1: is law enforcement work in fighting crime. The Attorney General
- 18:36Speaker 1: Pam Bondi putting it this way.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Early this morning, Brian Cole Junior was arrested and charged
- 18:44Speaker 6: with placing the pipe bombs at the RNC and the
- 18:47Speaker 6: DNC on January fifth, twenty twenty one. He has been
- 18:52Speaker 6: charged with violating eighteen USC. Eight forty four, which is
- 18:57Speaker 6: use of an explosive device. Investigation is ongoing as we speak,
- 19:03Speaker 6: Search warrants are being executed, and there could be more
- 19:07Speaker 6: charges to come. Today's arrest happened because the Trump administration
- 19:12Speaker 6: has made this case a priority. The total lack of
- 19:17Speaker 6: movement on this case in our nation's capital undermined the
- 19:22Speaker 6: public trust of our enforcement agencies. This cold case languished
- 19:30Speaker 6: for four years until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino
- 19:36Speaker 6: came to the FBI. The FBI, along with US Attorney
- 19:42Speaker 6: Piro and all of our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for
- 19:47Speaker 6: months sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the
- 19:52Speaker 6: FBI with the Biden administration.
- 19:55Speaker 5: For four long years.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Let me be clear, there was no no new tip,
- 20:01Speaker 6: there was no new witness, just good diligent police work
- 20:06Speaker 6: and prosecutorial work working as a team along with atf
- 20:11Speaker 6: Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of course the FBI.
- 20:18Speaker 6: We are working every day to restore the public's trust.
- 20:23Speaker 6: We hope that today is a significant step towards that progress.
- 20:28Speaker 6: We'll share more information when when we can, and when
- 20:32Speaker 6: it unfolds. I cannot stress enough how hard Director Patel
- 20:38Speaker 6: and Deputy Director Bongino have worked for months to make
- 20:42Speaker 6: our nation's capital safer and to make our country safer.
- 20:47Speaker 1: You listen to Pam Bondi in what she had to
- 20:49Speaker 1: say there, it's truly incredible that there was no new
- 20:53Speaker 1: information that actually led to this arrest. Cash Battel saying
- 20:59Speaker 1: this as well on TV in an interview.
- 21:02Speaker 4: So there's been some uncertainty, you know, certainly online, so
- 21:06Speaker 4: I don't know what's real and what's not. Sometimes it's
- 21:07Speaker 4: a little hard to follow. But on when these devices
- 21:10Speaker 4: were actually planted, you know, does this arrest crystallize the
- 21:13Speaker 4: timeline at all in terms of, you know, the sequence
- 21:16Speaker 4: of events that's sort of been you know, up in
- 21:18Speaker 4: the air again, you know, especially online.
- 21:20Speaker 5: It absolutely does.
- 21:21Speaker 8: And I don't want to get ahead of the Department
- 21:22Speaker 8: of Justice, but you're going to see a crystal clear
- 21:24Speaker 8: timeline and picture in the next twenty four hours when
- 21:28Speaker 8: this individual makes his presentment and first appearance in court
- 21:30Speaker 8: and we proceed with the paperwork to his arraignment, that's
- 21:34Speaker 8: where key pieces of information are going to be made
- 21:36Speaker 8: public for the first time, because that's where key pieces
- 21:38Speaker 8: of information legally must be made public for the first time.
- 21:41Speaker 8: And we're not going to disrupt that process because that
- 21:43Speaker 8: would hurt the integrity of investigation and most importantly, would
- 21:46Speaker 8: hurt the integrity of the prosecution that's upcoming.
- 21:49Speaker 1: You listen to Cash Battel, and what he's saying is
- 21:52Speaker 1: you're getting transparency. He also made it clear and this
- 21:56Speaker 1: is a Cash Betel tweet when Dan bond Gino and
- 21:58Speaker 1: I came to the FBI and march the pipe bomb
- 22:01Speaker 1: investigation installed for going on five years. We rebuilt it
- 22:06Speaker 1: from scratch, rerunning every lead, retesting every piece of evidence,
- 22:11Speaker 1: bring in top experts, and deploying new technology to engineer
- 22:14Speaker 1: the break that finally nailed the suspect. Today is result
- 22:19Speaker 1: of that outstanding work. We didn't need new evidence, just
- 22:23Speaker 1: new leaders and a new President Trump willing to let
- 22:27Speaker 1: good cops be cops. This goes exactly back to that principle.
- 22:34Speaker 1: The President United States of America chose people to put
- 22:37Speaker 1: in positions of power that understand exactly what they needed
- 22:42Speaker 1: to do, which was go after the bad guys, arrest them,
- 22:46Speaker 1: and make sure that men and women are safe. And finally,
- 22:50Speaker 1: even Judge Janine said the DC pipe bomber was quiet.
- 22:55Speaker 1: She also revealed insight into his low key personal life,
- 22:58Speaker 1: saying federal authorities say they found bomb making materials in
- 23:03Speaker 1: the suspects home. The US Attorney for the District of Columbia,
- 23:07Speaker 1: judg Andine, revealing all of this after it was announced
- 23:12Speaker 1: the indictment. Federal authorities arresting that thirty year old of
- 23:16Speaker 1: Virginia Thursday morning, and yet again she re emphasized this
- 23:20Speaker 1: important point that this was after a nearly five year
- 23:24Speaker 1: long pause in essence of the investigation, involving millions of
- 23:29Speaker 1: pieces of data. Now we have him, and Americans can
- 23:33Speaker 1: sleep a little better knowing that the DC pipe bomber
- 23:36Speaker 1: is behind bars. You have an individual that goes into
- 23:40Speaker 1: our nation's capital and sets down two bombs. They could
- 23:44Speaker 1: have killed countless innocent people. And what did they do
- 23:48Speaker 1: under the prior administration?
- 23:50Speaker 5: Nothing?
- 23:52Speaker 1: They just stopped caring, or no, let me rephrase that.
- 23:56Speaker 1: It sounds like they didn't care at all. Forget stuff caring.
- 24:00Speaker 1: They never even tried, right, they never even tried. And
- 24:08Speaker 1: I think that is the part that is so shocking
- 24:11Speaker 1: here is that it was just like who cares?
- 24:15Speaker 5: Now?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Is that because they knew who he was? Is that
- 24:18Speaker 1: because they didn't have a problem with it? Because they
- 24:20Speaker 1: set a pipe bomb at the Republican National Committee?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Did they not care?
- 24:25Speaker 1: Because they were in theory this probably would have blown
- 24:29Speaker 1: up a bunch of conservatives that showed up on the
- 24:33Speaker 1: you know, January sixth, nation's capital, right, and that was
- 24:35Speaker 1: maybe the target. So they're like, look, hey, this was
- 24:39Speaker 1: literally a guy targeting Trump's supporters.
- 24:42Speaker 5: So that's why we're okay with it.
- 24:45Speaker 1: There's a lot of questions here that should be answered.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Why did our government not accidentally felt deliberately stopped trying
- 24:56Speaker 1: to find someone that did what I just described. That
- 25:01Speaker 1: is the question that everyone should be asking, and that's
- 25:04Speaker 1: the question that everyone should be angry over.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Now.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I want you to keep listening to the FBI director
- 25:10Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what he has to
- 25:12Speaker 1: say on the second half of this as he's talking
- 25:14Speaker 1: about how frustrated he is, as he should be like
- 25:18Speaker 1: this is if you're in law enforcement, you should be
- 25:20Speaker 1: enraged that you know law that your government purposely failed.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You deliberately chose to look the other way, deliberately chose
- 25:33Speaker 1: to stop trying to find a individual that put pipe bombs,
- 25:38Speaker 1: and we don't know what the hell else this guy
- 25:40Speaker 1: did in the meantime, And what a massive victory this
- 25:44Speaker 1: is to make sure that a very dangerous individual is
- 25:48Speaker 1: off the streets. There's also the politics in here which
- 25:51Speaker 1: are just weird. I'll give you a great example of that.
- 25:54Speaker 1: CNN host Jake Tapper misidentified the Washington DC pipe bomb
- 25:58Speaker 1: suspect Brian Cole as a thirty year old white man
- 26:02Speaker 1: just before airing photos revealing him to be a African
- 26:05Speaker 1: American man, a black man. Brian Cole, a thirty year
- 26:08Speaker 1: old white man from the DC suburbs, is charged with
- 26:11Speaker 1: transport and explosive device in inner state commerce and the
- 26:15Speaker 1: malicious destruction by means of explosion, Tapper said in a
- 26:18Speaker 1: show the Lead. Several minutes later, Taper's own program aired
- 26:22Speaker 1: photos of Brian Cole. He is a African American man.
- 26:27Speaker 1: This is another example of the politics. Why wouldn't you
- 26:30Speaker 1: want to just tell the truth and say it's an
- 26:32Speaker 1: African American man that did this.
- 26:34Speaker 5: And there's also others that have lied.
- 26:36Speaker 1: They said they believe this is going to be a
- 26:37Speaker 1: January sixth Donald Trump maga person. When caught we found
- 26:42Speaker 1: out that this individual is anything but that. It's also
- 26:47Speaker 1: clearly time to investigate the FBI who tried to take
- 26:51Speaker 1: down Donald Trump but then also decided not to investigate
- 26:56Speaker 1: a crime like this, which brings me to the central point.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Thank goodness, on election day, Donald Trump was elected because
- 27:05Speaker 1: if he wasn't, this guy would still be walking among
- 27:07Speaker 1: us and had been for the last five years. Somebody
- 27:14Speaker 1: needs to answer for that. Why why for five years?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Did this happen? How is it that there were no
- 27:22Speaker 1: new tips, no new leads. How is it possible that
- 27:27Speaker 1: now is when we finally got him? And was it
- 27:31Speaker 1: because Democrats decided this individual didn't actually fit the narrative?
- 27:37Speaker 1: That's the question everyone should be asking. Don't forget Share
