- 0:19Speaker 1: me true good to Steve. How guy listening to me?
- 0:26Speaker 1: To other for sto to hand quickly, hobby, don't you
- 0:38Speaker 1: join yeah by radio joined into doing me. Honey. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: got to turn, yeah, you gotta turn. You won't the
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn at the turn you love? You got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water? Comey, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your back at it? Uh? I show? Well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and all is Steve Harvey got a radio show? Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: particularly this morning, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Feel
- 2:18Speaker 1: with nothing but joy and hope about it too. You know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: it's a great thing to be able to wake up
- 2:23Speaker 1: in the morning with with peace in your heart and joy.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Peace and joy is is is immeasurable. It has a
- 2:31Speaker 1: value attached to it, and I have no idea what
- 2:34Speaker 1: it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much more
- 2:38Speaker 1: than than any amount of money you can make. Peace
- 2:41Speaker 1: and joy. Um. I have not always had that. I
- 2:47Speaker 1: have not always been a peaceful person or a person
- 2:52Speaker 1: who lived his life um in a joy spirit. It
- 2:56Speaker 1: took an arrival at this moment. Some people arrive sooner
- 2:59Speaker 1: than this. UM. I wish I had arrived at this
- 3:03Speaker 1: point sooner, But I think it was necessary for me
- 3:07Speaker 1: to learn a few things too. That's that's the amazing
- 3:11Speaker 1: thing I've learned about life is that instead of reflecting
- 3:15Speaker 1: on your past uh uh incidences and calling them failures,
- 3:21Speaker 1: instead of focusing on the negative and calling them bad times, UM,
- 3:28Speaker 1: I look at them now as experiences. I had to
- 3:31Speaker 1: have those experiences that were negative, that were good, positive,
- 3:37Speaker 1: wrong even I had to have all those experiences to
- 3:41Speaker 1: become uh, to shape who we are today. We all
- 3:47Speaker 1: have to have them. If you look back at all
- 3:50Speaker 1: the negative experiences you've had, all the things that you
- 3:54Speaker 1: called failures, all the businesses I started that went under,
- 3:58Speaker 1: all of the jobs I had, it that I was
- 4:00Speaker 1: fired from, all the shows that were canceled, all of
- 4:04Speaker 1: the times I I thought I was gonna get something
- 4:08Speaker 1: happened in my way and turned out I didn't get
- 4:09Speaker 1: it at all. When you look at all of it,
- 4:12Speaker 1: all of it, hopefully along the way, what you have
- 4:16Speaker 1: done as a person is you've taken those negatives and
- 4:20Speaker 1: those failures and you've used them for what they actually are.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They are experiences, and they've now created in you an
- 4:29Speaker 1: experienced person, and you know, um, that is worth something.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's then it becomes a positive. But what too many
- 4:39Speaker 1: people do is they let the negative things that have
- 4:42Speaker 1: happened in their life, They allow the failures that have
- 4:45Speaker 1: happened in them lives never to manifest themselves as experiences.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And you sit up there and you dwell on it,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and you dwell on it until you have this woe
- 4:55Speaker 1: is me attitude. Stop looking at it like that, y'all.
- 4:59Speaker 1: You go through things in order to become the person
- 5:03Speaker 1: that you are today. I'll tell you who you sometimes
- 5:06Speaker 1: have to sit down and talk to. Sometimes you are
- 5:08Speaker 1: to sit down to an inmate that really gets it,
- 5:11Speaker 1: an inmate that says, man, I've actually heard inmates say
- 5:15Speaker 1: it to me and write to me and and and
- 5:17Speaker 1: they've said things like, man coming to prison, save my life. Now,
- 5:22Speaker 1: those of you have never got how can he say
- 5:23Speaker 1: a thing like that? But but but some men, no, Man,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I was so far out there that if I had
- 5:30Speaker 1: stayed out there, I wouldn't even be here today. This
- 5:32Speaker 1: actually allowed me to stop, spend some time with myself
- 5:35Speaker 1: and learn some things about me. Now does that happen
- 5:38Speaker 1: for everybody like that? No, But here's a person who
- 5:42Speaker 1: has taken an experience that could be considered a failure
- 5:45Speaker 1: or negative and turn it into a positive and using
- 5:48Speaker 1: it to enrich their lives. You can do it no
- 5:51Speaker 1: matter what your set of circumstances is. I recommend to
- 5:54Speaker 1: everybody that you try changing your outlook in order to
- 5:58Speaker 1: change your outcome. Everything that happens to you that's negative
- 6:02Speaker 1: or you consider a failure their experiences. You've got to
- 6:05Speaker 1: go through these things in order to have the knowledge
- 6:07Speaker 1: that you have today. So I wish that I had
- 6:10Speaker 1: come to this arrival that I mean in now, this
- 6:13Speaker 1: place of peace and joy. But then guess what, I
- 6:16Speaker 1: would not know what I know. I could not share
- 6:20Speaker 1: some of the things that I'm able to share if
- 6:22Speaker 1: I had not gone through some of them. And sometimes
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's the purpose of them, is to teach you a
- 6:27Speaker 1: lesson because you know, God has a plan for you,
- 6:29Speaker 1: He really really does, and eventually he can use you
- 6:33Speaker 1: no matter how old you are, and he can use
- 6:36Speaker 1: you no matter how young you are if you just say, Okay,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm ready to hear your plan. I've tried mine. Mine
- 6:42Speaker 1: ain't worked out. Mine was not a good plan. What's
- 6:45Speaker 1: your plan for me? God? What do you want me
- 6:48Speaker 1: to do? That's why I say every day Steve already
- 6:51Speaker 1: got radio show, y'all, because Man, I ain't see it coming.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I didn't see that coming. I ain't see this book coming.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I ain't seen I ain't seen half of the amazing
- 7:00Speaker 1: things that are happened to me. I didn't plan them.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I was sitting there, man, asking God for some direction.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And then I got smart enough to stay watchful, be
- 7:10Speaker 1: a hard worker now because faith with our works is dead,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and it came. And I remind you of this. God
- 7:16Speaker 1: has given all of you a gift. Every last one
- 7:19Speaker 1: of you listening has a gift. God has never created
- 7:22Speaker 1: a soul that he did not provide a gift to.
- 7:25Speaker 1: God gives everyone a gift, and a gift is not
- 7:29Speaker 1: just singing, rapping entertainment. The richer gifts are much more
- 7:34Speaker 1: than that. Teachers are gifted people who really have the
- 7:37Speaker 1: gift of sharing information. That's a gift, you know, um,
- 7:42Speaker 1: And in that you can become great, you know, Uh,
- 7:48Speaker 1: A lot of people think that successful and greatness is
- 7:51Speaker 1: the same thing. Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He was a spokesperson. He said something so pointed. He said,
- 7:58Speaker 1: don't ever confuse succes that's with greatness. The two have
- 8:03Speaker 1: nothing to do with each other. See, people determine success
- 8:06Speaker 1: about money and fame and all this here, but greatness.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money. It
- 8:12Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's how
- 8:14Speaker 1: you conduct your life. Is how meaningful and significant you
- 8:18Speaker 1: become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:23Speaker 1: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:25Speaker 1: little girls lives that you change, that that little center
- 8:28Speaker 1: in the hood where you just one place of hope
- 8:32Speaker 1: to so many people, and they come back. And I
- 8:34Speaker 1: used the example of lou Dazler who passed away in
- 8:37Speaker 1: l A, who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club
- 8:39Speaker 1: out in l A. And he wasn't a rich man
- 8:42Speaker 1: at all. And if you walk by and you wouldn't
- 8:44Speaker 1: even know who he was. But if you look at
- 8:46Speaker 1: all the people who have gone on to become politicians,
- 8:50Speaker 1: who have gone on to become CEO's, who have gone
- 8:53Speaker 1: on to become athletes that have passed through this man's
- 8:56Speaker 1: small building in the hood in l A. He was great,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and all of you have greatness in you at something.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's just you gott to submit yourself to God and say, Okay,
- 9:09Speaker 1: what was your planing for me? Certainly it wasn't to
- 9:12Speaker 1: become an inmate. Certainly it wasn't to become a drug dealer.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Certainly it wasn't to become a womanizer. Certainly it wasn't
- 9:19Speaker 1: to become a stripper. Certainly God didn't create you for this.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He had a plan for you. He just waiting on
- 9:26Speaker 1: you to ask him what it is. And when you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: praying about it, that's when the change comes in your life.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That you could open up yourself and submit yourself and say, hey, God,
- 9:35Speaker 1: what is this for me? And you ain't got to
- 9:37Speaker 1: be perfect, because please know I ain't. I ain't even close.
- 9:41Speaker 1: But guess what what they got to do? With you
- 9:43Speaker 1: loving God and God loving you? Trust me? Man, Prayer
- 9:46Speaker 1: changes things. I said all the time. But when you
- 9:48Speaker 1: see people become successful or great, that as somebody praying
- 9:52Speaker 1: somewhere may not even beat them. Maybe it's their mama.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You know, I think of Tiger Woods and all the
- 9:57Speaker 1: greatness he's accomplished. You know they always talk about his
- 10:00Speaker 1: father and all this. Here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I got cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mom
- 10:08Speaker 1: is a praying woman or something. My mother was. She
- 10:11Speaker 1: prayed me into this place because she should call me
- 10:13Speaker 1: all the time praying for your boy. You know what
- 10:16Speaker 1: note You know you can always come here and get
- 10:18Speaker 1: yourself some neat and your daddy has said you can
- 10:21Speaker 1: come in here. Always need a place to sleep, you
- 10:23Speaker 1: can come here. She was always praying for me. And
- 10:26Speaker 1: prayer changes things. It really does. Try it today. It
- 10:30Speaker 1: can change you. It has changed millions of people. Open
- 10:34Speaker 1: up yourself to the greatness that's in you because God
- 10:37Speaker 1: is giving you a gift. Now the fact that you
- 10:39Speaker 1: ain't using it. Who fought you think that is? I'm
- 10:42Speaker 1: just telling you you got one. And if you start
- 10:45Speaker 1: praying about it, it all manifest itself and you can
- 10:49Speaker 1: become one of two things, successful or great or both.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You can make the decision. Today morning show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls. But I have your attention, please, It's
- 11:05Speaker 1: Steve Harving mar on the show. I'm talking like this
- 11:08Speaker 1: because I'm saving my boys. Because today the boys will
- 11:12Speaker 1: come to the camp. I'm gonna be holling all night
- 11:18Speaker 1: and I'm gonna fall in love with them, and they're
- 11:20Speaker 1: gonna fall in love with us, and we're gonna be
- 11:22Speaker 1: hugging by said hard isn't adjustment, ladies, what's happening? Hello,
- 11:31Speaker 1: Hello Steve, good morning? Yes, yes, calling for real, Good
- 11:35Speaker 1: morning Steve. What's up crul Well, let's see what's up.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Junior back for you because we were sick. I know
- 11:50Speaker 1: you love yeah that we Well, let me put it
- 11:55Speaker 1: to you this way. I just saw I was helping
- 11:58Speaker 1: Junior best I could. You did great up, but maybe
- 12:02Speaker 1: my best ain't. Maybe my best I could ain't what
- 12:04Speaker 1: you could anything. You were there for your friend and
- 12:10Speaker 1: that's all you could do anything, you know in a
- 12:12Speaker 1: way I know how to be there. But yeah, yeah
- 12:16Speaker 1: you are. He responded, well though, Yeah, he's glad to
- 12:21Speaker 1: see you back, Junie. I'm glad that would be back up. Yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 1: it was it Oki when Boom wouldn't hung out what
- 12:29Speaker 1: your at the funeral at Man, thank you Boom. I
- 12:31Speaker 1: want to say thank you. Boom picked me up and
- 12:34Speaker 1: took me to the funeral, and I had to worry
- 12:36Speaker 1: about that. Oh that's good. Did you tell me about
- 12:38Speaker 1: Boom's funeral suit? Yeah, oh Boom Boom couldn't either went
- 12:44Speaker 1: to the funeral or the clue. It ain't really make
- 12:48Speaker 1: no difference to him because you know, because you know
- 12:52Speaker 1: when they get light outside, Boom break out the light. Yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 1: The fact that it's your funeral ain't got nothing to
- 12:58Speaker 1: do with tempt shots. Just Boom still take a picture
- 13:01Speaker 1: of himself in every outfit. He don't do that no
- 13:05Speaker 1: more that that was back in hate that because he
- 13:07Speaker 1: just hate now. Yeah old dried up as gray. Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: he hate that. The days just going. He just hate now.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Boom was at the funeral with a powder pink suitar. Yes,
- 13:25Speaker 1: they didn't know if she was the funeral director, the
- 13:29Speaker 1: flower man. Yeah, hat on everything. All right? Oh good, Junior,
- 13:39Speaker 1: back can strive, Tom and Tom your top of the moner.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So up with you, man, man, I'm going to take
- 13:48Speaker 1: my wife to Vegas for our anniversary. Man, that's what
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm about to do. That's good, Steve. I mean you're
- 13:57Speaker 1: up here, two or three, I come on, that long
- 13:59Speaker 1: has been We gonna need to know you're a year
- 14:04Speaker 1: after me. I'll tell you what going in there and
- 14:07Speaker 1: tell her how long you think three? I'm three. You
- 14:10Speaker 1: got to know these things, Tommy, we've been owning all
- 14:13Speaker 1: since Connege. We own well. Yeah, he's a little bit
- 14:18Speaker 1: more than on all right, Um, I'm taking out a vega. Hey, listen,
- 14:27Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour, Steve is
- 14:31Speaker 1: down at his mentoring camp and he had to make
- 14:33Speaker 1: a visit to the meat market to get all of
- 14:35Speaker 1: his meat and stuff. So well, I got a story
- 14:37Speaker 1: for you. He's gonna tell us about that experience right
- 14:41Speaker 1: after this at thirty two after the hour you're listening
- 14:44Speaker 1: to show. So I decide on my way down stop
- 14:51Speaker 1: at fresh Market and dick Sporting good I had to
- 14:54Speaker 1: get some more fishing equipment. You went into Dick's. Oh
- 14:58Speaker 1: just a My whole day was at first of all,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I ain't been a grocery store. I don't even remember.
- 15:07Speaker 1: You forgot your fame, Yeah, you forgot you. I went
- 15:10Speaker 1: in there order all my meats. I ordered. I got
- 15:13Speaker 1: nine slabs. Let me read my list to you. So
- 15:17Speaker 1: I go shopping. I got eight slabs of baby backs,
- 15:20Speaker 1: toil steaks, chicken, quarters, all the chicken wings. They had,
- 15:26Speaker 1: ten slabs of salmon, eight packs of Earl Campbell's, got
- 15:31Speaker 1: some six packs of all beef hot dogs, ten pounds
- 15:34Speaker 1: of ground beer. That's the meat that I ordered. But
- 15:38Speaker 1: this is how you go from vegetarian back to meat.
- 15:42Speaker 1: No vegan, get your turn, no no animal products period,
- 15:51Speaker 1: nothing but that that ended yesterday. So I'm at the store.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm going into fresh market. Everybody in the spot me now,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm there when the doe open, because you're I'm there
- 16:06Speaker 1: when the doe open. All I heard was, oh my god,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Mr Harvey, I watch your shot. I said, man, thank
- 16:17Speaker 1: you so much. Can I shake your head? Yes you can, Man,
- 16:19Speaker 1: let's go. Can I hug you, yes, man, if you
- 16:22Speaker 1: can hug me too. So little lady came from behind
- 16:25Speaker 1: the count Asian lady didn't speak no English. Sweetest woman
- 16:30Speaker 1: in the world. We talked, She talked, I listened. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: told me something in what she said, but it was
- 16:36Speaker 1: one of I'm in the store, I'm ordering all this meat.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So white, dude. We had to guess it because you
- 16:42Speaker 1: know we're in Georgia. My god, it's a lot of meat.
- 16:47Speaker 1: But I was thinking, what is all the meat for.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I said, I'm going down here for fol days. You
- 16:54Speaker 1: can't eat all this meat in four days, Sir, I said, well,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I won't be the only one eating. How many are years? You?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Let let me help you portion it out. I said,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I don't really need no help portion it out. So
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know, I just I know, I know who coming
- 17:10Speaker 1: around to the cabin I got the food for. You know,
- 17:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now. You don't need the men
- 17:15Speaker 1: slab real I said. I say, but sir, I can't.
- 17:23Speaker 1: What I don't want to do is run out of right,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I said, well I don't. I don't want you to
- 17:28Speaker 1: waste it either. Hey, man, damn don't. This was just
- 17:35Speaker 1: at the nine slabs and realms. I hadn't even got
- 17:39Speaker 1: to the ten pounds of ground chucking. All the chicken wings.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I bought all the chicken wings and two chicken quarters.
- 17:48Speaker 1: He was just oh, he couldn't believe me. You can
- 17:51Speaker 1: clean the mouth. So it started there and that then
- 17:55Speaker 1: that way there. So I mean, uh, fresh market. So
- 17:59Speaker 1: this woman, I get to the check outcount, the guy
- 18:02Speaker 1: tells me to butcher shop. I was telling how many
- 18:05Speaker 1: steaks I want? He said, well, if you're buying for lage,
- 18:07Speaker 1: Mr Harvey, be pretty much more cheaper for you. If
- 18:10Speaker 1: you just buy the whole loaning and let me cut
- 18:13Speaker 1: it for you, it'll be cheaper. And then wrapping. So
- 18:16Speaker 1: it's three levels is U s D. A is prime cut,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and its Chateaubrian. I didn't bought the best steak at
- 18:25Speaker 1: fresh market Chateaubrion. I got it. He cuts it for me,
- 18:29Speaker 1: wraps it up, labels it. Thank you, Mr Harvey. I'm
- 18:32Speaker 1: in there about forty minutes. I go up to Cauther.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm paying these two sisters. Is that the cash was
- 18:38Speaker 1: one older, one younger, very nice man, big fans. They
- 18:42Speaker 1: love me. The young sister grabs the meat. You know
- 18:46Speaker 1: how they wrap it in brown paper where you can't
- 18:48Speaker 1: see the meat. She grabs it and squeezed and says,
- 18:51Speaker 1: oh no, oh no, they can't sell you this type
- 18:55Speaker 1: of meat. You get a better cut of meat than this.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And she walked off with my Chateaubrion phil Amons and
- 19:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna what better cut? I bet back down. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: picked this out. She said, they're not gonna do you
- 19:11Speaker 1: this way. I'm gonna go back here and get you
- 19:13Speaker 1: the best cut we have I said, okay, you're going
- 19:17Speaker 1: in the back something right, But dude went in the
- 19:20Speaker 1: back and bought that out, showed it to me. I said, yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I just wanted to take some of the fat off.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Don't want you paying for that, Okay, cool man, beautiful
- 19:26Speaker 1: chateaubri on top of the left. This lady comes back.
- 19:30Speaker 1: There you go, Mr Harvey. I read the label. She didn't,
- 19:34Speaker 1: went and bought U S D A. No, but two
- 19:40Speaker 1: levels down they had U S d A. They had
- 19:43Speaker 1: prime cut and Chateaubrian. She said, you need us D eight.
- 19:47Speaker 1: That's the best. I thought. I don't want to argue
- 19:49Speaker 1: with her. I said, ma'am, no, the Shateau. They always
- 19:55Speaker 1: trying to do us like this racism. It's the man
- 20:00Speaker 1: gave me that. This ain't racism, Saint racism. The man
- 20:07Speaker 1: treat me really nice, and I I ain't gonna keep
- 20:11Speaker 1: doing us like this. Tell nobody Dad, that's like nothing.
- 20:15Speaker 1: So now I got to sneak back to the butcher's
- 20:18Speaker 1: shop with the damn meat and I handed back to
- 20:22Speaker 1: the man. He said, Mr Hunky, I gave you the
- 20:24Speaker 1: best we head, I promise you I did. She told
- 20:28Speaker 1: me she wanted you having that she wanted you had
- 20:30Speaker 1: a better cut. This isn't the better I said, I know, man,
- 20:32Speaker 1: because I had what you gave me back. I ain't
- 20:35Speaker 1: even undrafted you. And I'm just standing here and shott,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I said, So he hands it back to me and
- 20:43Speaker 1: I give him the meat back and I go up there.

- 39:08Speaker 1: is a cartoon. What's going on? Yeah? So I said,
- 39:15Speaker 1: my man, where the boots that I can run in
- 39:17Speaker 1: with the show ain't different? I said, I said, my man, Okay,
- 39:23Speaker 1: where you get the boot from. The lady said, you
- 39:25Speaker 1: wanted the boot, I said, but what I wanted was
- 39:27Speaker 1: a police tactical boot. Oh why ain't you say that?
- 39:31Speaker 1: I said, what I was trying to tell you that
- 39:32Speaker 1: I want to boot to run in. I'm telling you, man,
- 39:34Speaker 1: you can't running this hill boot. And I'm sitting here, man,
- 39:38Speaker 1: I said, this is dude, for real, I was just
- 39:42Speaker 1: looking at him. I said, my man, you're the one
- 39:46Speaker 1: pulled the boot out. I bought the boot out, Mr Harvey,
- 39:49Speaker 1: because she told me you wanted the police boot. These
- 39:51Speaker 1: is police boots. I said, but yeah, but I want
- 39:54Speaker 1: a kind of a little more run to it under
- 39:56Speaker 1: armedna make one out. We ain't got no more with them,
- 40:00Speaker 1: I said, okay, Well what else do you have? More
- 40:03Speaker 1: like a hiking boot with a little being in it. Well,
- 40:06Speaker 1: let me think you like this one right here? I said, Bro,
- 40:10Speaker 1: you didn't told me I can't running it. That's why
- 40:12Speaker 1: I want you to keep looking at this. Because you
- 40:16Speaker 1: can't running this. I said, okay, I just turned around
- 40:20Speaker 1: and walked off. I bought them down or dda's flip flop,
- 40:29Speaker 1: that's what I bought. Yeah, for real, Because he didn't listen.
- 40:32Speaker 1: He wasn't He wasn't listening at all. No, I walked
- 40:35Speaker 1: away from him and just bought them down. Flip flop.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Can you can't running? Need coming up next in about
- 40:46Speaker 1: ten minutes. Uh, Steve is gonna tell us something good
- 40:50Speaker 1: and share with us about your mentoring camps mission Steve
- 40:53Speaker 1: to provide outreach to fatherless young boys. Right after this,
- 40:58Speaker 1: you're listening Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Steve, this is Father's
- 41:03Speaker 1: Day weekend. Happy early Father's Day to all the fathers
- 41:06Speaker 1: out there, and you are in Georgia. You're in Georgia
- 41:09Speaker 1: right now. Before you get into this, can you please
- 41:11Speaker 1: tell my kids and six of the seven are working
- 41:14Speaker 1: today pitching in by me, So alright, Harvey Kids, Harvey
- 41:19Speaker 1: Kids money, any suggestions to someone like okay, yeah, that's
- 41:29Speaker 1: good as Marjorie. All right, So it's Father's Day weekend.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Like I was saying, you are in Georgia for your
- 41:35Speaker 1: mentoring camp. It happens annually. We want you guys to
- 41:38Speaker 1: take a listen to some of the mentees testimonials, the
- 41:41Speaker 1: importance of the mentors that are here. They're helping a
- 41:45Speaker 1: hundred of us, just understand what it takes to be
- 41:49Speaker 1: men in the world. The experience here has been life changing,
- 41:52Speaker 1: being in this camp and learning what it means to
- 41:54Speaker 1: be man, being taught how to keep our heads up,
- 41:56Speaker 1: our chest ups, speaking with confidence. The mentors that I
- 42:00Speaker 1: can relay with, they share their stories of what they've
- 42:04Speaker 1: been through and how they accomplished their goals and how
- 42:07Speaker 1: they overcame their fear and like their loss. A lot
- 42:09Speaker 1: of people don't want to bother with kids who don't
- 42:12Speaker 1: have fathers or a low income, and it teaches me
- 42:14Speaker 1: that there are good people out there who care about
- 42:16Speaker 1: others and are willing to sacrifice certain times to see
- 42:19Speaker 1: them succeed in life. It's been very hopeful to see
- 42:22Speaker 1: people that have been in our shoes in the past
- 42:24Speaker 1: and that are successful, that are helping other people, and
- 42:27Speaker 1: that are overall just great man. I've learned that in
- 42:30Speaker 1: order to be a man, it's not what clothes you
- 42:32Speaker 1: have on you know, how you look, or how people
- 42:35Speaker 1: you know see you. It's how you feel inside, how
- 42:37Speaker 1: you care yourself, how you cherished education, how your chairs
- 42:40Speaker 1: being successful in life. All right, all right, start many.
- 42:46Speaker 1: It's really good man. When you hear from the from
- 42:48Speaker 1: the boys themselves, such an effective program, man, it really
- 42:53Speaker 1: really is. I think all the volunteers are a lot
- 42:56Speaker 1: of my frat brothers, make us or make them men
- 43:00Speaker 1: came down to support forty forty queues came down my
- 43:05Speaker 1: brothers and helping me run the camp this year. A
- 43:08Speaker 1: lot of cappits came, office, came, sigmas came. I appreciate
- 43:13Speaker 1: you all, man, thank you, thank you. Well you know, Anthony,
- 43:21Speaker 1: how many sigmas was it you? But your mission is
- 43:28Speaker 1: to provide outreach to fatherless young men that will cultivate
- 43:32Speaker 1: the next generation of responsible leaders. That's because listen to me.
- 43:37Speaker 1: We we teach them leadership qualities, but we we pound
- 43:42Speaker 1: into them the principles of manners. Look, you don't have
- 43:47Speaker 1: to go to college to be a leader. All of
- 43:50Speaker 1: these boys won't make it to college. And and and
- 43:54Speaker 1: I don't try to get him one way or the other.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I encourage them to dream, and I allow those dreams
- 44:00Speaker 1: to spur them to get whatever education is required to
- 44:04Speaker 1: accomplish the dream. That's why we focus on the science
- 44:07Speaker 1: of manhood and dreams. Because you don't have to be
- 44:11Speaker 1: the kid over the head about schoolwork all the time
- 44:14Speaker 1: when his dream requires that the dream will spur you
- 44:18Speaker 1: to get an education. And that's what we've learned that
- 44:20Speaker 1: the program, it's very, very effective. And to hear these
- 44:23Speaker 1: young men success stories and come back and send me pictures. Man,
- 44:27Speaker 1: I got pictures on my phone that I'm posting on
- 44:30Speaker 1: the website of kids. Men were holding their babies graduating. Man.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I had a fifteen year old boy at the camp
- 44:37Speaker 1: a couple of years ago. He the father too. You
- 44:42Speaker 1: know that boy came to me and said, Mr Harvick,
- 44:44Speaker 1: can you help me? I said, yeah, that's what we're
- 44:46Speaker 1: here from. Man, he said, no, I really need some help. Yah,
- 44:51Speaker 1: ain't heard y'all talk about this for two days? He said,
- 44:54Speaker 1: Mr Harvey, what do I do? I say, what's what's wrong? So?
- 45:00Speaker 1: I said, everybody in here missing the father? He said, yeah,
- 45:03Speaker 1: I'm missing the father and I am a father. Let's
- 45:06Speaker 1: just a little too sound. I said, you're a dad already.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I got two kids. Mr. I don't even know what
- 45:14Speaker 1: to do. And man, we had to sit him down. Man,
- 45:18Speaker 1: we got some minutes wrapped around him his kids. Send
- 45:21Speaker 1: me a picture he graduated holding his kids in his arms,
- 45:25Speaker 1: and get him a job. You know, success stories like
- 45:28Speaker 1: that that he's manning up and he's trying to take
- 45:31Speaker 1: care of his responsibility. This great story. Wow, Steve Harvey
- 45:38Speaker 1: Mentoring Camp. Thank you, Steve, Thank you for everybody volunteered
- 45:42Speaker 1: this week too. Go to all social media at Steve
- 45:45Speaker 1: Harvey f M and tell us what you're doing to
- 45:47Speaker 1: mentor young people. Up next, nephew, tell me has a
- 45:50Speaker 1: praying phone call coming up right after this. You're listening
- 45:56Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Show, right about four minutes after today's
- 46:00Speaker 1: strawberry letter subject. He must think I'm crazy, But right
- 46:05Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:07Speaker 1: And before we get to the prank nephew, we have
- 46:10Speaker 1: to Steve. We have to say happy birthday, Happy seventy
- 46:12Speaker 1: second to President Donald Trump. It's his birthday today. Oh happy.
- 46:20Speaker 1: We say happy birthday to everyone, No, we don't. He's
- 46:24Speaker 1: the leader of the f world, most powerful man in
- 46:27Speaker 1: the world, so we don't say happy birthday to two
- 46:31Speaker 1: countries called him. Steve, Yeah, I think you should. Well,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm not doing y'all going, why don't you do it?

- 54:37Speaker 1: punch drunk. I guess he doesn't. Robert de Niro, Yeah,
- 54:42Speaker 1: did issue an apology, but not to the president. DeNiro

- 55:56Speaker 1: four years. We've had trust issues in the past because
- 56:00Speaker 1: he was being dishonest and it caused a strain on
- 56:03Speaker 1: our relationship. I've been trying to let go of the past,
- 56:06Speaker 1: but there's one issue that I am still not comfortable with.
- 56:10Speaker 1: I have a problem with how he deals with his
- 56:12Speaker 1: son's mother. His son is seventeen, and since I've been
- 56:15Speaker 1: with him, he has had a good relationship with this woman.
- 56:18Speaker 1: But I want to know how good is too good.
- 56:21Speaker 1: He runs a business with her, he goes on family
- 56:24Speaker 1: vacations with her and his son, and he allows her
- 56:28Speaker 1: to post pictures of the three of them on her
- 56:30Speaker 1: social media pages. Oh, and let me not forget that
- 56:34Speaker 1: he has accidentally fallen asleep over her house at least
- 56:38Speaker 1: five times since we've been dating. When I met her,
- 56:42Speaker 1: she was very standoffish. I've told him several times that
- 56:45Speaker 1: their relationship makes me uncomfortable. He tells me that I'm
- 56:49Speaker 1: insecure and she's just like family. He swears there's nothing
- 56:53Speaker 1: else going on. What do you think am I being insecure?
- 56:56Speaker 1: Or should I be worried about this? It's very frustrating
- 56:59Speaker 1: and I'm ready to just walk away from him since
- 57:01Speaker 1: I seem to be in the way anyway. Uh, he
- 57:04Speaker 1: must think I'm crazy. Please help figure this out. Well,
- 57:08Speaker 1: I don't necessarily think he thinks you're crazy. Um, that's
- 57:13Speaker 1: not it. I just think, you know, he thinks he
- 57:16Speaker 1: can get away with certain things. Uh, And you've been
- 57:18Speaker 1: going through this for the past four years. I don't
- 57:21Speaker 1: know why you've been going through this for the past
- 57:23Speaker 1: four years. I mean he's been lying to you. You said,
- 57:25Speaker 1: among other things that killed the trust between you and
- 57:28Speaker 1: caused a strain on your relationship. And Uh, then you know,
- 57:32Speaker 1: when you bring up the fact that you're uncomfortable with
- 57:34Speaker 1: his closeness with his ex wife, he brushes you off
- 57:37Speaker 1: and calls you insecure. He's not listening to you, nor
- 57:41Speaker 1: does it seem that he is concerned about your feelings. Okay,
- 57:45Speaker 1: this isn't good. I don't think from a man that
- 57:47Speaker 1: you've been with for four years. I think you need
- 57:49Speaker 1: to re examine your relationship with him. Seems like he
- 57:52Speaker 1: has a better relationship with his ex wife than he
- 57:55Speaker 1: does with you. I'm very glad though, that he's president
- 57:58Speaker 1: in his son's life. It's it's good that he gets
- 58:01Speaker 1: along with his ex wife for that reason, for the
- 58:03Speaker 1: sake of his son. But um, you know, he's been
- 58:06Speaker 1: disrespectful to you. I think sleeping over a house and
- 58:10Speaker 1: all of that. Uh, that needs to stop. And until
- 58:12Speaker 1: you really put your foot down and let him know
- 58:14Speaker 1: how you really really feel, talk to him straight up
- 58:16Speaker 1: about it. I don't think this is going to stop.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I just don't. He likes the way things are, and
- 58:23Speaker 1: he just thinks you're insecure, brushes you off and goes
- 58:25Speaker 1: on about his business. What are you gonna do, Steve, Well,
- 58:30Speaker 1: let's just get to it. You're uncomfortable with his relationship
- 58:37Speaker 1: with his ex of the seventeen year old boy. Okay,
- 58:42Speaker 1: and why are you uncomfortable? Because they go he go
- 58:47Speaker 1: over there for the holidays. They're posting pictures of the
- 58:51Speaker 1: three of them on social media. And to top all
- 58:56Speaker 1: at all, oh, he has accidentally fallen asleep at her house.
- 59:03Speaker 1: What you accidentally fell asleep at her house and you're
- 59:11Speaker 1: doing and she's doing something else too. I'm looking for
- 59:14Speaker 1: this in the letter. But let me see how good
- 59:19Speaker 1: it is. One of the business with her goes on
- 59:22Speaker 1: family vacations, allows that the post pictures and three of
- 59:25Speaker 1: them on social media, and he accidentally fell asleep. First
- 59:29Speaker 1: of all, look, I got being cool with your asks
- 59:32Speaker 1: for the sake of the child. But the boy seventeen,
- 59:37Speaker 1: you know it's time to wind this down. Ain't but
- 59:39Speaker 1: one more year child to post. But the fact that
- 59:43Speaker 1: you're going over there taking pictures and posting on social media.
- 59:48Speaker 1: The woman is trying to say to everybody, look what
- 59:51Speaker 1: we got. And he might be saying, hey, look what
- 59:54Speaker 1: we got. But he owed that falling asleep. Though as
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: we lay he forgot about to my road as we lay.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Get your ass up, you got to get to the house.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: But the fact that he got to the house and
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: what no damn lip service from you is the shocker.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: You're allowing this man to do what he wanna do,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: and he's doing it. He's falling asleep at our house
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: at least five times since we've been dating. He heat
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: going over there to sleep. Anybody going on a yeah,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you fall asleep accidentally five times a house. He going
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: over there to go to bed. He ain't falling asleep,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: He crawling in. Now, he got house shoes over there
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: every day. Then when you bring it up, it makes
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: you uncomfortable. He says, you in secure. And she's just
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: like family. She's just like family. Yeah, husband and wives
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and children are families. So he just told you that
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: they're a family. You're not. You don't have a child
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: with this man. They have a child together, and he
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: just told you quit tripping. She just like family. Well,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: if you was married to a woman and y'all have
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: had sex together and had kids, it's cause y'all words
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and family. Now he keeps going over there, you know why,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: because they still a family. The question is why did
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you type this letter without read Because if you read
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: this letter that we just read and surely gave you
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: all that good advice, and you still on this radio
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: talking my stay tripping, what do you think? Am I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: being insecure? Or should I be worried about this? The
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: man got another family and you're okay with it, then okay, fine,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: and be okay with it. It's very frustrating and I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: ready to just walk away from him since I seem
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to be in the way anyway. He must think I'm crazy.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Please help me figure this out. You just said it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: You need to leave, but you're not gonna going now.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Let's just tell the truth. You're gonna stay another four
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: years of this man of nothingness, so now you have
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: no chance of meeting this to write because you're in
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: a bad situation and you won't walk away from it.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: It's a lot of women in a spot like you in.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But I'll be done going if you're gonna go over
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: somebody how five times and falls? All right, Steve, we'll
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: be back with part two of your response to today's
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, he must think I'm crazy at twenty three
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening to Steve Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two of your response
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to today's straw Very Letters, subject he must think I'm crazy?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He must thank I'm crazy, Shirley and me, thank you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: crazy and everybody listening to this latter, Thanks you crazy.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: You've been with a man four years who has a
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: crazy relationship with his ex wife because they got a
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: seven teen year old son. Okay, he's being a great father.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: They're going family vacations together, they post pictures on the
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: internet together, and he falls asleep over her house five
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: times accident. How do you go on the family vacation
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: and you ain't a family Most people are going family vacation,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: going family va their family. But he hadn told you
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: they are family. When you got mad at me, he
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: told you was insecure. You tripping? She liked family to
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: me exactly in the words of Judge told us. Grandmother
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: taught her something. I thought it was the best advice.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Her grandmother told her, don't ever let a man have
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to tell you twice he don't want you, and he
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: don't care if you see it, because you know why,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: because you're insecure in your trip. Lady, you are? Can
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I tell us you? Can? I just tell her the truth?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: We love the lady that wrote this letter. You are
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: officially the other woman? Can I just help you understand
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: that you are the other woman? For four years? You
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with that, just because he don't take
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you on for Emily vacation with the boy. It ain't
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: a whole lot of pictures y'all posted on social media.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: As he fell asleep with your house five accidentally. Let's see,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: let's let's let's just deal with the accidentally falling asleep part.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: When he comes to your house and go to sleep.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Do it seem like its own purpose to you? Yes?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It does? So why haven't time he go over her house?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: He accidentally fawless grown has medn't know what he's doing
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and you know what he's doing to as we lay. Hell,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you know, fell asleep at as we lay. Let me
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: let y'all help. What happens when you really actually accidentally falllessly?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Shirley Murdoch wrote a song about it. It's my most
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: number one hat it because this has happened to me.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Turn it Okay, it's morning and we slept. That happened.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Now we get to action the hand of time. Yes,

- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I can't find my drawls, stay down my shoe in
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: the kitchen. I don't know where the ties jacket turned

- 1:08:31Speaker 1: the right sheet from upstairs. You know it's crazy. I'm
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: sure you want who you want. I can't stand that
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: bill right there as we slip thee. What is the bill?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Look going on? Phone down? What was the pail at
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: one third? You forgot about your funking? You know counting up?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: You ain't got to deal? What's it called? I'm on

- 1:10:11Speaker 1: girl from the Talk. She's here. Ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: and good ols, put your hands together for the incredible
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: she'll Underwood. Steven good Month, Harvey Morning. So Trump is
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: he back? Is he back from North Korea's y man? Listen? Birthday? Well,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: don't care about you know, they ain't gonna have no
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: good birthday party over there because what they're eating, man,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: ain't sandwiches or something that I'm signed it was, I'm
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: not supposed to say that he's here. He's back. The
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: president is back in the station. Man, listen to me.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: He talked too much. He talked to much. You don't
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: tell Kim Jong Uns and them that, hey, y'all, give
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: y'all missile. We ain't gonna play no war game. I
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: was in board game, my first war game, refort up
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: in the eighties, reinforcing Europe in Germany. Was in the
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Air Force Reserve. I was stationed at Travis Air Force.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: But how are we gonna practice beating? Somebody asked, if
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: we don't. I'm sorry, carl out of me to say that,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: if we don't practice, what when you talked to much?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: You talking to him? Now? Why Milan you don't like
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: you because you talked to damn months. I'm sorry. Let
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: me get on a different subject. They ain't. Look, I
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: know the children want to know about street life, but
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: stop messing with super Fly. Now. I like the little
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: young boy, but that ain't priests praise is rocked on Neil.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: It ain't. It ain't Eddie, it's Freddie. It's Freddie. There.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: They got scattering there, but I didn't know Scatter was
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: doing karate. Look, you child, your need to stay out
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: with the movies. Then I hear they're gonna make shaft
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and clear bassage. You can't beat Bernie Casey. Then when
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: they kissed and all the Slopper Street, you can't be that.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I'm messing with our stuff. And you know what else
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you can't do, don't touch our music. July thirteen, on Friday,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna be at the Township out of tom Columbus,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: South Carolina with Frankie Babblin and Maze. I know it's
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: a maze freaks from frank Babble, but we say Frankie
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Beverly and Maze with the Manhattan. You know, Steve, I'm
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: supposed to be in the man I was supposed to
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: be in the man in Manhattan. Yeah, I'll propoe be
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: in the Manhattan. You know. First of all, they said, look,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: we already got two dark skinned people in here, and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you don't have any hair to be blue with it
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: with the with the Great Streets. So they said, not
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: what they tell me, I come to be in the Manhattan.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: And then on July, on Saturday, July lot of fourteen,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna be at the Moran Theater in Jackson. We're
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Florida with Frankie Beverly and Maze. I know that's a
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Maze featuring Frankieblin. But and I'm gonna be there with
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: the Whispers because I'm getting ready for Sanding Soul so
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I can get my jokes ready. But I'm gonna be
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: there with the Whisper. You know, I'm supposed to be
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: in the Whispers, Tommy, I supposed to be in the Whispers, Okay,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: but that's what happened. Then what happened? They said, we
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: already got three dudes dog skin and short with thick mustaches.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: We can't have three. We're gonna go with Scottie. You know.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: They said we can't have a third short dawn skin
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: do with a thick must that sure, you can't be
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: in the food. I haven't asked you to do what?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You know? What? Yeah? Really? Okay, Steve called, They really
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: asked me when they say they scott it, Yeah, what's
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: that means? They really said, hey, sure, keep on loving me, baby, Yeah,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: keep on loving me. I don't want you when I
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: say make on live and lost? It turned out, you know,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you know, I was supposed I was supposed to be
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: in the in a good mob. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I was man, I was. I was ballhead and fat
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: before Selo Green. I was what what be folk? Listen
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: to me. I had my stomach got long before Rick
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Ross was eating Rick Cross bent my stop. I had
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: the best with you know, I thought I was being hot,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: but the soul I had the best open with my
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: stomach hanging out. They said, whoa, that's flys what what what? Wait? Wait, Steve, Steve?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: When I do saying this soul? What is my part
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: on it? What's my part? Because I'm getting my jokes ready?
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: What is my part you're talking about for saying this soul?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Saying what? I don't let you fly the sky baby,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: however you want to be or whatever you want to do.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Do we we got you hosted the event, right? What's
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: what's what I'm hosting? And is there any laws and
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: words you can't say because I don't not not in Dominican? Yeah,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: because that's international incident. I don't want to international incident.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Don't go over there telling nobody you Wesley Snipes because
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: they will hat you down. Yeah, but the hand comes
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: over because I paid sex. Is that what it is? Down?
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Listen to me, all I gotta do is ask President
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Obama and Jesse Jackson come pick me up, because that's
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: how they're freeing people over there. Don't act like President.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I don't think they listen to j You'll think they
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: listen to Jess who they kill kardash She's gonna have
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: to do better. Chance to send it kill get you,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: get me out of them. And Dennis Rodman Donna get
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: voted out the race talking about my diplomats for America
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: crazy as black people. That's all. That's all. Trump can't
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: get that. He can't get the real ones. You know,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: di Roma need stopped talking about President Obama, greatest president
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: ever lived. We don't care what he was doing. We
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: don't care what you're doing. Everything he did with great
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: but everything you see the cee see that was that
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: was that was a bad hand slaps. That's right because
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: first of all, first of all, you didn't go over
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: there on the diplomatic Mitchell that went over that played basketball.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: So when you reach out to the Obama's people, I'm
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: pretty sure you didn't get to talk to President Obama.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I can about show you that. That's why wouldn't give me. Yeah,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: he don't even know you dog, I promise you he
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: didn't talk, but I wouldn't be mad at President Obama
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: if he said, then it's something busy off. He said,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get played by them, because when he
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: said when President Obama said he will sit down with
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: the North Koreans, all the Republicans got mad. They save down.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I was at the meeting when they talked about it.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I said, don't say noth again. President. They said, shut up, sir.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I said, look at one's gonna be one more time

- 1:16:08Speaker 1: and the day gonna republic of me. I'm the only
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: black person that I'm sorry I did not go to
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: fun I've been. President Obama would have picked up the phone.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: It rod Man, the comedian would have called him and said,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I'm going to shout out the rock Man. Shut out
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the rod Many over there. He took my phone call
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: to you better speak on that. Steve Harvey, you need
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to go to North Korea. We talked to the North Korea.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Took him up with the Steve Harvey suits because he
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: gotta stop wearing them baggy suits that haven't been tailored.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Kim Jung, that's fly that's fly. You see how he
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: had all the bodyguards running on the side of I
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: wish everybody working for me would run on the side
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: of my business. He needs to take a black bob
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: over there, give him a real fing His is raggedy.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: It ain't even lying up. Yeah, looking like a nerve
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: one wrong move. Alright, Cheryl, thank you, We love you. Alright,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Hey scot it. Yeah, what's that? Get out of here?
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Coming up in the top of the hour, it's Carla's
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: reality Update. She's going to talk about the Real Housewives
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: of the Potomac right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Steve Show, getting ready to get ready, It's that time
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: for reality update. All right, thank you, nephew. Okay, guys,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: let's talk about Real Housewives of Potomac. So, Steve, I
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: don't know if you're familiar with this show. This is
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: one of the franchises you know for Real Housewives, but
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: this is the Potomac So this is the Washington, d C.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Maryland area. And Giselle Bryant, she's like the lead cast
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: member on the show. And she used to be married
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: to pastor Jamal Bryant. So she's on the show, and uh, Shirley.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: If you're familiar with the show, Robin and Monique, Yeah,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: they both had their charity events on the same day,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: so you know, Robin was upset that Karen and Charice
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: decided to go to Monique's event. Said of her event
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: and shout out to Robin because she's been doing very good.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Her husband one who was an ex ball player. They
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: had a lot of financial trouble, so they're building their
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: empire backup and they're out the red and they're back
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: in the black and they're doing good things. And Robin
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: wants to empower people. Anyway, she had this event and
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: she was upset that her friends did not show up
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and decided to go to Monique's event. Well, Karen is
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: supposed to be cool with Giselle and she invited Gizelle
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: broke up with her boyfriend Sherman, So now Sherman's exend Giselle.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Giselle was dating this guy, his name is Sherman, which
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: they broke up, and Giselle has been struggling with this breakup. Well,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: come to find out, one of her friends, one of
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: her castmates, had a charity event and invited Sherman's ex
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to this party. Yeah, his ex wife actually to the party,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: so you know, it's kind of messed up. The girl
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: is okay, okay, Yeah, she was on the on one
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: of the women's panel. She was on the talk show.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: I didn't know who she was. She's beautiful because a man,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Kevin Lowry's wife manages her. Okay, and introduced him. They
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: gave Margie some makeup and stuff. I didn't know. I
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: didn't I didn't know who she was Zelle Bryan, and
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I really didn't know she was married. Yeah, yeah, she
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: is his ex wife. A lot of people are giving
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Karen flack about this, saying, you broke the girlfriend code,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you broke the rule, like why would you invite your girlfriend,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: your current girlfriends, your girl, You invite her ex boyfriend's
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: ex wife to this event that you're having, knowing that
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: your friend it's going to be right. That was shady.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: That was that was shady. So well, yeah, that's the
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: wrong Karen. Even though Karen felt that it was okay
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: because she told Gazelle, hey, you're on your way to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: this party, but Kendall is going to be here, that
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: still was what's kind of shady, But but Kendall kind
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: of feels that her and Gizelle were kind of cool
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: back in the day, So why are you dating my
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: ex husbands? So anyway, did Karen break the girlfriend rule?
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I think she did by inviting Kendall Sherman's ex to
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: the event hit me up at Lips, and by Carla
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Basketball Wives, let's move on. Why is this show on?
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I don't know, but anyway, that's just tell you that
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Jackie Christie is another time crazy and if she wasn't
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: on the show, I would not watch her because Jackie,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: she is another under crazy talking about herself on the show. Yeah,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: evidence on the show, Shawn, He's on the show. Tammy.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Tammy's on the show, Tammy Roman. Yeah she did she? Oh?
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: How she do Steve? Yeah she did really well. She
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: did really well. Yeah. Uh, Gazelle Bryan did really well too.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Oh good, good, good good. We'll check this out. On
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozada, she confirmed that she is no
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: longer engaged with her boyfriend, her former Los Angeles Dodgers
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: player Carl Crawford. You know, they were together and Evelyn
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: had undergone some fertility treatments. She was trying to get pregnant.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Her and Carl were trying to have a baby and
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: they broke up. So as a result of their breaking up,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: they had these embryos, and so they decided that they
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: were going to get rid of the embryos because they
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: are no longer together as a couple. Well, Evelyn received
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: even a lot of backlash on the episode she decided
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: to get rid of the embryos, and she was on
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: the beach and she released butterflies and things like that.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: But there's a lot of people on social media giving
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: her backlash about this because there's so many couples and
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: so many women who struggle within fertility, and people felt
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: like she should have donated. Yeah. Yeah, they're stored at
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: a fertility clinic. But I just have to say this, Carlin,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: if I'll say this again, If Jackie Christie We're not
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: on that show, I would not watch it, Steve. She
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: is a different kind of crazy change. Can you get
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: on the radio show? Just five minute conversation, Please, let's
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: get Jackie Christie. Man, she gotta have some brown looking baby.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: You gotta have it. I love you. She will say anything.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: And I think she bought your girl o g on
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: the show just to fight girl name o. Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: And she plays football, touch football lingerie league. In this
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: girl yes line woman, Yeah, she addresses real provocatively and
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: sexy she addressed is real sexy. Yeah yeah, But I
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: think Jackie bought on the show for that crazy Hit
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: me up at Lips by Carla on the Gram, Instagram,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: social media. If you want to comment on my reality update,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: we'll be back at twenty after the hour. You're listening
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Entertainment News, Steve Father's
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Day Stories. You can score win here for Brad Pitt,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: his ex Angelina Joe Lee could lose primary custody of
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: her six children. Now. This is according to the Blast.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: A judge has ordered Joe Lee to help reconcile her
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: kids with Brad Pitt or else. The Ugeen Angelina and
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Brad divorce case reportedly determined that the children not having
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: a relationship with their father is harmful to them. Okay, yes,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: I agree with that wholeheartedly. You need a father, that's real.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: But they're not taking the kids from the angeline. That's
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: not going well, No, they don't have you need to stop.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: The judge says that not having a relationship, I'm about
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: to go. We're about they were using Carol's daughter and
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you know it. The judge said that not having a
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: relationship with their father is harmful to them. He also
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: added that it is critical that each of them have
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and she is also she also must give Brad each
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: child's cell phone number and allow him to call whenever
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: he wants. She's not allowed to read children's text messages
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and their father or with their father, or monitor their calls. Okay,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: so there you go. Yeah, there you go. So that's
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: good for the kids. That is really good for the
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: kids and Brad. Yeah, because you know a father who
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: wants to be in his child's life, you know now,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I mean, really, man, why why would you deny that?
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You know he's a good guy, he's not abusive to
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: you order her, y'all might not have made it as
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: a couple, but you got to allow the children, who
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: had nothing to do with this, to have relationship with
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: their father. This is to every woman. You do such
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: a disservice to your child. I got you, thank you
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: making him look bad, But the child can't process this.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: And I used to do that. I have to agree
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: with you. I used to do that when I was
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: in a bitter, bitter place after my divorce. Oh absolutely, yes,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: yes I did. I was bitter and angry. I didn't
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: see you, man, No, I was. I was very angry
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: going through it, uh, my divorce. Yeah, you know, I
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: had to realize, you know, your kid is going to
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: grow up here about this. You're talking about her dad.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: She's gonna look at you know, if he's that bad?
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: What was wrong with you? Mom? I mean, that's crazy.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: And that's really big of you, Shelvey, to admit that
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: you did that, because that helps people understand that goes up,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: and I've been on the receiving end of it as
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: a father. It's not I mean viciously said some things
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: about me that really wasn't true, very one sided. But
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: trying to get my son to not, you know, respect me. Absolutely.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: I wanted her to be mad and not you know,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: and it works to a degree. Yeah, because they're young,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: and you know, I had my son say something to
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: me one time and I had to check his ass.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: Hold up, Pardner, don't you ever think for one minute
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: that you have the permission to talk me in a
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: disrespectful way. That's right, I'm still your dad. I'm your dad.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what she's saying. Right, that's right.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: You best understand that. Now if to knock your ass out,
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: you're ready. Thanks for the warning. Yeah, I mean, you know,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: people process it different ways. But yeah, it's not cool
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: to do that, absolutely not. Uh So, coming up next
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: in entertainment news, Camille Cosby has filed for divorce from
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Bill Cosby. You're listening to the show. Wow, this is
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: a shocker right here, Steve says, big changes are coming.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: It appears uh like Camille Cosby has had enough of
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: her convicted husband, as recent reports indicate that the couple
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: is quickly heading for divorce, with a long suffering wife
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: allegedly taking the first step. This is according to Radar Online.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Camille Cosby, who's seventy or she's left the couple's Pennsylvania mansion,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: leaving the fallen comedian pleading with her to return. He
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: literally leaving the day. Tommy, this is not the time,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Yes it is, it's not. I can't believe it's not
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: the time. Boy. You don't see it coming, my boy,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: the serious Tommy boy, but want you to stay. He
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: is literally home alone. According to an insider, She even
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: took the staff with her. They're living separate lives. Um,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: yeah right, our own staff gonna go with her because
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: they're mad at him. That's really sad for this guy, man,
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: because you know, when your wife leaves, it sends a signal,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: and she's tried to stand behind you. Just it's only
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: so much you could take. You can't keep coming up
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: with new people. Rate Our Online stified that she settled
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: her She settled herself. I'm the only one not joking.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I know. I know, because you are, you've been divorced before,
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: you understand what's that. And then you know. Bill Cosby
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: was a friend of mine, and I hate that this
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: has happened for everybody. I hated for him, I hated
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: for all these victims, especially hated for Camille. Yeah, it's
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: an ugly situation, it is. I hated for everybody involved.
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: And it's sad, man that you spend your life building
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: something and you know, the darkness just comes to light. Manah.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: The site Radar Online specified that Mrs Cosby settled herself
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: into the couple's Massachusetts hideaway with their chef, multiple drivers,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: and a house manager. Also, she reportedly has some family
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: support as their three grown kids joined her in leaving.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: They allegedly have not visited Bill Cosby in months. Bill
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: Cosby is eighty years old, Camille as seventy four. As
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: I mentioned, if this story is true, is super sad? Yes,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: really is sad. Yeah. Bill Cosby is confined to the
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: space and is reduced to wearing an ankle bracelet to
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: track his whereabouts House arrest. Yeah. This all comes a
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: couple of months after um Bill Cosby was convicted of
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constant. Why does a O
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: have on the ankle brace he's been convicted of, Yeah,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: a crime. Yeah, you can damn the catch any He
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: then got away. Yet they do it everybody at the
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: nurse home if they were fast. Really now you're writing, Joe, Yeah,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry you always caught up. I can't believe he's
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: on house arrest. Man, you're gonna be on be on house.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: That's the house to do it, man, cause my cousin
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: was on house. Were through all right? Coming up our
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: last break of the day. We're going to close out
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: the show. You're listening to show? All right, we are back.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: This is our last break of the day. Good day, Uh, Steve,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: we're ready for your clothing remarks. I'm so happy they're bad. Today.
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: I want to give you all something that came to me. Uh,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: it came to me this morning. I was been in
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: really over the weekend. I was doing a lot of
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: prayer for meditating over the weekend, you know, just trying
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: to recenter myself off. You know, sometimes I get a
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: little off, you know, I see myself sliding off. Course,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: I'm forgetting to be grateful as I should. I'm I
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: started working on some things that I want to happen
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: so bad. I keep pouring a lot of time into it.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: I keep, you know, reviewing my plans and goals, and
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: sometimes you know, your second guest stuff, and sometimes you
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: spend a lot of time just scratching your head trying
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: to figure out your next move. I'm sure everybody can
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: relate to that. How you sit up in here, man,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: and some of your best laid plans seem to be
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: going a ride and you just can't figure it out. Uh.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: I was sitting up and somebody sent me this this
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: morning and then it's entitled release, And as I read it,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I just want to share with you the thought that
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: I was having when I was reading this thing called Release,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: and it says, Heavenly Father, I released to you the
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: burdens that I have been carried, burdens that you never
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: intended for me to carry. You know what I read that?
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: It meant something to me, because a lot of the
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: stuff that's on us that we can around here won't
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: even intend for us to carry around. We just canding
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: around cause we didn't took it upon ourselves to worry
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: about it. We didn't took it upon ourselves that this
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: is now this albatross around our neck, when God really
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: didn't intend for that. You know, other people's problems really
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: ain't your problems. They can bring it to you, but
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: that don't mean it's yours. So you end up carrying
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: around stuff that God never intended for you to carry,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: you know, like you hear your great grandmoma used to say,
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: don't let other people put their trash in your trash can,
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: because you need all that room for your trash. But
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: now you can around somebody else's. Then it goes on
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: to say, I cast all my cares upon you, all
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: my worries, all my fears. You have told me to
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: not be anxious about anything. But rather to bring everything
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: to you in prayer with thankfulness. Man. I had forgotten
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: about that, And when I read that, it reminded me
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: that I shouldn't be anxious about these deals. I'm working
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: on my next move, what I need to get done.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: Why am I tripping about that? I don't know how
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: it's gonna turn out anyway. I'm anxious about something that
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: I actually have no control over. So I just con
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: said to me, Steve, just turned this over to who
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: got all this in control, and let him have it,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: and be grateful for what you have. And then it says, Father,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: calm my relentless spirit, quiet, my anxious heart, still my
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: troubling thoughts, with the assurance that you are in control. Man,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: Ain't that cool when you turned something over to God
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: and all of a sudden you have a calmness or
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: quiet and the stillness because ain't got to worry about
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: it no more. Then it says, I let go of
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: my grip upon the things that have been I've been
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: hanging on too. With open hands. I come to you.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I release to you and well all that I am
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: trying to manipulate. I release to you all that I'm
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: trying to manipulate. So if you let go of stuff,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: if you let go of a lot of stuff that
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: you're hanging on to, y'all, you can go to God
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: with open hands. If you go to God with open hands,
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: he got something to feel now. But if you hanging
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: on and got a deaf grip on a whole bunch
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: of stuff that you can't do nothing about it, and
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: it's really meaningless, you ain't got room to receive what
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: He got for you. So I release to you all
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: that I am trying to manipulate. I release to you
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: your authority, all that I am trying to control. I
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: release to your timing, all that I have been striving
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: to make happy. Everything I'll be trying to make happen.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you make it happen. Everything I've been
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: wanting to happen at a certain time. I'm gonna let
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: that happen in your time. You do it in your time,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: when it's your will. For me. It's called release. Just
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: let it go, man, because you're tripping about stuff you
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: really can't control. That's an amazing thing. Then it says,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: I thank you for your promise to sustain me, because
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: that's his promise to sustain you, preserve me and God
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: all that I have entrusted to your keeping. So now
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: when you turn it over to God and you let
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: him have it, and you release this grip on this
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: stuff that you have no control over, and you ask
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: for his calmness and your quiet and you release everything
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: to him, Guess what, Now you can just trust that
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: you didn't put it in the right hands. You got
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: it in the best hand. So he gonna protect that.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: Now he watching over it instead of you watching over
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: Now who would you rather hand watching over something? You
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: are God, protect my heart and mind with your peace,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: the piece that passes all understanding. Father, May your will
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: be done in my life. That was powerful to me, man,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: And I read that this morning and I said, Wow,
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna share that with everybody because that really helped
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: me today. Man, that it allowed me to let go
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: of something, to let go off stuff that I've been
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: hanging on to, trying to make stuff happen. When there's
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: so much stuff that's out of my control. If you
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: just let it go, turn it over to God and
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: be all right with it, because he's been having you.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Why would he not have this? But we grab ourselves
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: and we want to be a part of it so
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: much that we end up getting in the way. So
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I asked that this will be done in my life,
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: in your time, and in your way, however he want
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: to do it, and whenever he want to do it,
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: I'm cool with that. Stop being anxious for everything, y'all,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: step back, turn it over to God and let him
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: do what he'd do. You feel me? Feel you? That
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: was good? Yo? Yeah, y'all have a great weekend break.
