- 2:21Speaker 1: the genre. I don't care what it is. If you're
- 2:24Speaker 1: trying to be successful, this message is for you. Let
- 2:28Speaker 1: me help you understand something real clear. You ain't gonna
- 2:32Speaker 1: make it the way you want to, and you're not
- 2:35Speaker 1: going to make it to the heights that's fully out
- 2:39Speaker 1: there and available for you without God. And I'm just
- 2:42Speaker 1: killing keep it real, simpling clean for you today, you're
- 2:45Speaker 1: not going to make it the way you want to,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and you're not going to get to the heights that's
- 2:52Speaker 1: available to you without God. You have to get this
- 2:57Speaker 1: through your head. Now, listen to me. You can try
- 3:01Speaker 1: it if you want to, because I did. I'm here
- 3:03Speaker 1: to tell you I am talking purely from experience. Here.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You can try it without God, and you can see
- 3:10Speaker 1: how far you can get. Now when you have some
- 3:14Speaker 1: measures of success, of course you will, will it feel
- 3:18Speaker 1: like days like you might make it? Of course you
- 3:20Speaker 1: will without a doubt. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 3:24Speaker 1: What you're gonna do about them days when you feel
- 3:26Speaker 1: like you ain't gonna make it. What you're gonna do
- 3:28Speaker 1: about them, days when you feel like giving up. When
- 3:30Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days where it feels like
- 3:32Speaker 1: there are no answers to your questions. What you're gonna
- 3:35Speaker 1: do about them days? What you're gonna do about them
- 3:36Speaker 1: days when everybody laughing at you, turn against you. What
- 3:40Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days when you just don't
- 3:42Speaker 1: see no way through it? What you're gonna do about
- 3:45Speaker 1: them days? See? I got there, I got the sunshine,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you know, sunshine cool. Everybody got friends. When it's Sunday outside,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you want some friends, hit the lotto, you want to
- 3:55Speaker 1: get rid of them friends, go ask for some help. Man,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I'm talking about man. They scattered like roaches when lights
- 4:00Speaker 1: come on. I'm trying to tell you, so now here,
- 4:03Speaker 1: here we go again, and you can do this without
- 4:05Speaker 1: God now because I've done it, and you can have
- 4:08Speaker 1: yourself some measure success. Let me even hip you to
- 4:11Speaker 1: a little bit closer though, Let me tell you why
- 4:14Speaker 1: you are doing it without God and having some measure
- 4:16Speaker 1: of success. Can I tell you why? Because of God's
- 4:20Speaker 1: grace and mercy to us, Because of His grace and
- 4:23Speaker 1: mercy trying to keep us in spite of ourselves, for
- 4:27Speaker 1: the real mission that He really got for us. See
- 4:30Speaker 1: that's the truth of the matter. Now, Now what we're
- 4:32Speaker 1: talking about nasty. See. So yeah, yeah, you can do
- 4:35Speaker 1: it without God, and you can have some measure success
- 4:37Speaker 1: without God. And yeah you know, you know, yeah you
- 4:40Speaker 1: got your little degree and everything. Yeah you completed the program,
- 4:43Speaker 1: got all that, YadA, YadA YadA, But don't you know something.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's because of God's grace and mercy that he helps
- 4:50Speaker 1: us anyway, when even when we ain't asking for help,
- 4:53Speaker 1: when he bails us out anyway, when we don't even
- 4:55Speaker 1: ask him to be bailed out, you know why because
- 4:57Speaker 1: He loves us that much that he would allow us
- 5:00Speaker 1: to exist until we get our mind together where he
- 5:03Speaker 1: could take us where really trying to take us. But
- 5:06Speaker 1: now let me tell you something though. Let's get this
- 5:08Speaker 1: real straight and clear today. You can do this without
- 5:12Speaker 1: God if you want to. But I am telling you
- 5:15Speaker 1: to get to where you really want to be and
- 5:18Speaker 1: to be all that God has for you. You got
- 5:21Speaker 1: to have. God is no ifs ands but about it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And let me tell you this here. I don't really
- 5:27Speaker 1: care what nobody then told you. Are you listening to me?
- 5:32Speaker 1: I don't care what they say. Don't get this thing twisted.
- 5:36Speaker 1: They got these people out here talking about their luminatis
- 5:39Speaker 1: and all listen, man, don't listen to me. Don't get
- 5:43Speaker 1: caught in this mess. Don't get caught in no foolishness.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You were created by God. God created you and your soul.
- 5:51Speaker 1: We were all created in His image, all of us.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't get to talk about. You've been to cut a
- 5:57Speaker 1: deal with it with the devil, and all you ain't
- 5:59Speaker 1: got no deal with no by that man, the devil
- 6:00Speaker 1: don't do deals. He one sided. I'm taking you to hell.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You're going to hell, You're burning hell. That's his deal.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I want your soul. I want you to lose hope.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I want you to take your life. I want you
- 6:13Speaker 1: to take some other people's lives. I want you to
- 6:15Speaker 1: feel hopeless. I want you to realize that it ain't
- 6:18Speaker 1: no God. That's his whole deal. His whole deal is negative.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Oh he can talk you into dealing drugs if you
- 6:24Speaker 1: want to. But let me tell you something about this.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I watched these shows all the time, drug ink and
- 6:28Speaker 1: all this here, cocaine mafia. Everybody on now go to
- 6:33Speaker 1: jail and get killed. Our prisoners is filled the day
- 6:36Speaker 1: with our young boys because they thought they could outslick
- 6:39Speaker 1: the system. They thought they had a way. They thought
- 6:42Speaker 1: they said them been here and they failed. For the
- 6:44Speaker 1: old cliche, man, I gotta do what I gotta do,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I gotta get this money. Well, the only reason you
- 6:48Speaker 1: gotta do what you gotta do is because, like I
- 6:50Speaker 1: said all the time, you didn't do what you were
- 6:52Speaker 1: supposed to do. Had you just done some of the
- 6:54Speaker 1: things you were supposed to do. Had you just stayed
- 6:57Speaker 1: in that school when it didn't look right, well, if
- 6:59Speaker 1: you had just formed a relationship with God and gotten
- 7:03Speaker 1: rid of that, I ain't gonna make it that I'm
- 7:05Speaker 1: hopelessness feeling. You wouldn't have found yourself doing something so
- 7:09Speaker 1: far out the box, got you out here being in
- 7:11Speaker 1: the spirit that don't even belong to you. God ain't
- 7:14Speaker 1: created you to be no dope dealer, or no such
- 7:16Speaker 1: a thing, or nothing even close to that. See, let's
- 7:18Speaker 1: get your mind right and understand what's going on here.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You know, that's what I need everybody. I need everybody
- 7:26Speaker 1: to get me clearly about this. This is not going
- 7:30Speaker 1: to happen without a relationship with God. It will not
- 7:34Speaker 1: happen for you in any shape, form or fashion. Now,
- 7:38Speaker 1: one more time, for those of you that think you're
- 7:40Speaker 1: making it without Him, I want you to understand something clearly.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It is but because of His grace and mercy that
- 7:46Speaker 1: we exist. And God has just taken care of you,
- 7:49Speaker 1: looking out for you, got some angels encamped around you
- 7:53Speaker 1: until you get your mind right so he can get
- 7:55Speaker 1: you where you're going. But now I want you to
- 7:57Speaker 1: understand something. There's a cause and a consequence and the
- 8:00Speaker 1: penalty for everything we do this outside the will of God.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's for all of us. All of us have consequences, penalties,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and everything that we got to deal with outside of
- 8:11Speaker 1: the will of God. Understand that, clearly, don't get this
- 8:16Speaker 1: thing twisted sideways. You understand me. You know. I heard
- 8:19Speaker 1: a young man tell me one day. He said, Steve,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you know, man, I just don't see how God looking
- 8:25Speaker 1: out for me, he would allow all these things to
- 8:27Speaker 1: happen to me. I'm having such a hard time in
- 8:29Speaker 1: my life. I really don't see how there's a God
- 8:32Speaker 1: looking out for me. Only the young man, I said,
- 8:35Speaker 1: the man, it's just something. Man, you're still breathing. He said, yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'm standing here talking to you. I said, you're still free.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He said, what you mean? I said, you ain't locked up,
- 8:43Speaker 1: are you? So no, I'm standing here talking to you.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I said, where you get them clothes from? I bought him?
- 8:48Speaker 1: I said, when you bought him with what? I bought
- 8:50Speaker 1: him with? Money? So where you get the money from? You?
- 8:53Speaker 1: So I got a job, Mr, I got a job.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I said, well, well where you live though? He's our
- 8:59Speaker 1: our apartment. I said, what are you gord Department. Mr Harve,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm working. I got an apartment, I got a job.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I was, okay, okay, so now this this God ain't
- 9:08Speaker 1: looking out for you? Think finish, finish telling me what
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're telling me. We'll see. Man, I'm having it real
- 9:13Speaker 1: hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man, are you
- 9:16Speaker 1: are you hungry? You have you had lunch yet? He
- 9:19Speaker 1: said yeah, yeah, yeah, yea already had lunch yet. I said, okay, okay,
- 9:23Speaker 1: so gone finish. Tell me about this how God ain't
- 9:25Speaker 1: looking out for you? He said, Oh. And you know, man,
- 9:28Speaker 1: every every time I try to do something, it seemed
- 9:31Speaker 1: like it go wrong for me. I said, but let
- 9:33Speaker 1: let me match something, man, I said, every time you
- 9:35Speaker 1: go wrong for y'all say somehow you survive it. He said, yeah, yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 1: I survive it some kind of way. But it's still
- 9:41Speaker 1: be all messed up for me. I said, but but
- 9:43Speaker 1: you still got through it though, he said yeah. I said, okay, man,
- 9:46Speaker 1: gone finish telling me how God ain't looking out for you?
- 9:49Speaker 1: And he stopped. He said, him is Harve? He said,
- 9:51Speaker 1: how come every time I tell you something that's going wrong,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you keep telling me God looking out for me? I said,
- 9:56Speaker 1: because you're still here, man, I said, See, you don't
- 9:58Speaker 1: understand it. I you seem to think that you're supposed
- 10:01Speaker 1: to just supposed to skate through life. That's all supposed
- 10:04Speaker 1: to go how you want it, any kind of way.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I said, Man, Jesus, the test of your faith, I said,
- 10:09Speaker 1: God looking out for you the whole time. I said,
- 10:11Speaker 1: every time you tell me something going wrong, are you
- 10:14Speaker 1: seem to turn around and tell me how you survived?
- 10:16Speaker 1: And you keep telling me what ain't going right? But
- 10:18Speaker 1: you keep telling me all these things you have. I said, man,
- 10:21Speaker 1: so what you gotta do is you gotta stop looking
- 10:23Speaker 1: at what you ain't got, column and start focusing on
- 10:26Speaker 1: what you do have. Column. But if you ain't happy
- 10:28Speaker 1: with nothing he hadn't done for you, you wanted to
- 10:30Speaker 1: keep piling stuff on. I said, you fail in the test,
- 10:32Speaker 1: young man. The test is are you grateful for where
- 10:36Speaker 1: you are right now? So I could give you more
- 10:38Speaker 1: so we can move forward? He said, am I never
- 10:41Speaker 1: even looked at like that. I said, well, why don't
- 10:42Speaker 1: you take your blessed cell phone somewhere and sit down?
- 10:45Speaker 1: He said, I think I'm going over here and let
- 10:46Speaker 1: you finish talking. I said, thank you, so sometimes you
- 10:49Speaker 1: just gotta look at what you do got folks, That's
- 10:51Speaker 1: all it is. Okay, you can't make it without God, y'all.
- 10:54Speaker 1: You got me today. All right, let's be clear, let's go.

- 12:18Speaker 1: see before you say that, tell everybody who's the queen's birthday,
- 12:21Speaker 1: who you're talking about, what happened In case they missed it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The queen ain't one queen to me. You know, Tommy
- 12:28Speaker 1: got one queen, right, and so Marjorie's birthday was yesterday. Yeah,
- 12:37Speaker 1: so you know, I don't You don't let none of
- 12:39Speaker 1: these things go by without trying to. You don't mess
- 12:42Speaker 1: around when it comes to birthday. I don't want to
- 12:45Speaker 1: surprise her. I try to start. It's different, you know, surprise,
- 12:52Speaker 1: this is surprised. That's a surprise start. Yeah, that's what
- 12:59Speaker 1: I want. Yeah. So I had a little food out
- 13:02Speaker 1: and everything, all the kids over head in the backyard,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and you know, I can't tell you exactly what happened
- 13:10Speaker 1: because you was so much hate out there. Oh man,
- 13:14Speaker 1: don't worry about it. Get to me now, Tommy. Come,

- 13:50Speaker 1: I don't know how I'm gonna do it. Man, the
- 13:52Speaker 1: hell with them people? Man, what you did? No, you
- 13:55Speaker 1: can't till me. I'm scared you Why you can't just
- 13:59Speaker 1: it's a blessed It ain't nothing wrong with it. God
- 14:01Speaker 1: has really blessed you. Steve. It's really blessed you. Okay,
- 14:06Speaker 1: we're all blessed, but you're really blessed. Put it this way,
- 14:11Speaker 1: put it away. God gonna be mad if you don't
- 14:13Speaker 1: tell a quick Let God be at mad, Tommy now,
- 14:18Speaker 1: but let the people know how he's blessed. For example,
- 14:24Speaker 1: thirty something funny. I'll decide what I can tell you
- 14:29Speaker 1: some money. This is called time spent listening. Really, we're
- 14:35Speaker 1: gonna find out how Steve's wife, Marjorie's birthday went yesterday
- 14:39Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour, right after this, you're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on.
- 14:48Speaker 1: When we left off, you were telling us what you
- 14:50Speaker 1: did for Marjorie's birthday yesterday. So you know, in the
- 14:57Speaker 1: backyard and the family this dad, you know, got some
- 15:01Speaker 1: music in the backyard and we're eating. I just like
- 15:05Speaker 1: the South, fell off of the vegan wagon today. I
- 15:10Speaker 1: really had a little birthday cake and stuff. You mean yesterday,
- 15:13Speaker 1: because this morning now you mean yesterday. I'm back on
- 15:17Speaker 1: the vegan trail. This morning I fell off. I was
- 15:21Speaker 1: warned not to do what they said because you started
- 15:24Speaker 1: eating meeting stuff and you ain't had none in five weeks.
- 15:27Speaker 1: You're gonna get sick. I don't know who the hell
- 15:29Speaker 1: they were talking. Did you have met? So this was
- 15:35Speaker 1: like the first The question is how much you you
- 15:41Speaker 1: went overboard and stuff barbecue? No, no, I ain't doing no,
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'll just had some fish. Okay, all right, okay, she's
- 15:52Speaker 1: okay about minimum buffalo pepper, bobbie q oh lemon pepper.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And they messed around and they fried some Do you
- 16:10Speaker 1: know that that fried food actually looked disgusting to me,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Mr Vegan, It looked disgusted. It was absolutely it looked
- 16:26Speaker 1: up the Yes, I'm trying to tell you many he
- 16:33Speaker 1: was a vegan, and I'm you know, I created that
- 16:38Speaker 1: new term, I'm a vegan next, which means I'm a
- 16:42Speaker 1: vegan to the next time I eat some meat. Things
- 16:48Speaker 1: going on. And so then I went upstairs. You know
- 16:51Speaker 1: sometimes during the day, if she takes a nap, she
- 16:53Speaker 1: put them uh you know, the things that cover your
- 16:56Speaker 1: eyes make a dog plane. Yeah, yeah, So I went
- 17:02Speaker 1: up there and got one of them, and uh put
- 17:05Speaker 1: it on the walked it through the house, made a
- 17:07Speaker 1: knock on some doors, throw off, and had the family
- 17:11Speaker 1: outside nel had it walked through the front door, and
- 17:15Speaker 1: then took it off, and uh, come on, spirit showed up,
- 17:25Speaker 1: Come on, se sprise, what what happened? She just started
- 17:32Speaker 1: calling on the Lord. That's who you would want to call.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Your spirit showed up because it was so overwhelming what
- 17:39Speaker 1: you bought her. Oh yeah, I knocked it down, picked
- 17:43Speaker 1: up through a down knock picked up, knocked it down.
- 17:47Speaker 1: She had no idea. She was walking towards it. Pop
- 17:51Speaker 1: locking and you almost go down. Yeah yeah, yeah, so forth,
- 18:00Speaker 1: so on and everything. Are you going to tell us what?
- 18:04Speaker 1: I can't sound like it because my wife post, and
- 18:10Speaker 1: if she didn't post, that's probably a reason. Okay, so
- 18:16Speaker 1: I don't want to Here they go again, always trying
- 18:22Speaker 1: to do in our face. Wouldn't really What I'd be
- 18:27Speaker 1: trying to do is really put it in your imagination
- 18:31Speaker 1: so you can see that that was available out there
- 18:33Speaker 1: in the blessings. But we'll see. So maybe you gotta
- 18:36Speaker 1: like a pink helicopter, something pink that is with him
- 18:41Speaker 1: in this obsession with helicopters. Don't know about it? Won't
- 18:44Speaker 1: that tell me? Are you are you gonna get a helicopter?
- 18:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna get me one. I won't want
- 18:53Speaker 1: hole like eighteen people? You know? Can I ask you
- 18:55Speaker 1: a question though? Mm hm, why would you get a
- 18:59Speaker 1: helicopter to what? What? I mean? What what do you
- 19:02Speaker 1: see yourself? Needing it? But like it from me. Let's say,
- 19:05Speaker 1: let's say hypothetically, I'm in l A. I can go
- 19:09Speaker 1: from Hollywood the Malibu Calabasas, I can go down. Can
- 19:17Speaker 1: I can go down to San Diego? I rolled doc,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you can do. You can drive there too, But that's traffic.
- 19:25Speaker 1: All that for five ignorant? What's your talking about? From
- 19:28Speaker 1: Malibu back to Hollywood at folk? Let's see you tomorrow, right,
- 19:35Speaker 1: Ain't no helicopter traffic? I see you, big ball? Okay,
- 19:40Speaker 1: let me ask you all the question. Yes, sir listener,
- 19:42Speaker 1: surely if you had a hundred million dollars, oh my god, yes,
- 19:50Speaker 1: you would buy with a hundred million dollars? Okay, Um,
- 19:55Speaker 1: a house for sure? How much would you spa an
- 19:58Speaker 1: under the hundred You got a hundred clear after tax?
- 20:01Speaker 1: At least I'll say, yeah, yeah, you got SETI left
- 20:10Speaker 1: what you're gonna? Okay? Um, let's see. I don't know
- 20:15Speaker 1: um cars, I guess put, I don't I don't know what.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm just buying house cars. What else is there to buy?
- 20:23Speaker 1: What else is it? I mean, you know an airplane
- 20:26Speaker 1: costs more than that. Right. No, I don't want an island.

- 20:39Speaker 1: you know what I would buy, Steve, I would buy

- 30:32Speaker 1: Coming up, we'll do some Hurricane Michael information and we'll
- 30:37Speaker 1: be back right after this, you're listening to the Morning
- 30:41Speaker 1: show and entertainment news. Fabulous is facing four felony charges
- 30:48Speaker 1: tied to his alleged assault on Emily B, his longtime girlfriend.
- 30:52Speaker 1: We all remember this story and the mother of his
- 30:54Speaker 1: two children. TMZ is reporting that Fabulous I was indict
- 30:59Speaker 1: at last week in New Jersey on one count of
- 31:01Speaker 1: domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening
- 31:06Speaker 1: to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon
- 31:09Speaker 1: a pair of scissors. The incident in question, where he's
- 31:12Speaker 1: accused of threatening to kill Emily and her family members,
- 31:15Speaker 1: was partially captured on video. She says he punched her
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the face so hard it knocked out her front
- 31:21Speaker 1: teeth in the weeks leading up to another altercation in
- 31:24Speaker 1: their driveway. The couple are still together through all of this.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Uh yeah, yeah, yeah. In the past few months, they've
- 31:32Speaker 1: been spotted in public at events and on family vacations.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. If you knock my
- 31:39Speaker 1: damn teeth out, say it, don't go to sleep. They're
- 31:45Speaker 1: still together, yes, and that's that will be the only
- 31:51Speaker 1: reason we steal together because I'm waiting on you to
- 31:54Speaker 1: go to sleep. Give my teeth and I don't get
- 31:58Speaker 1: your I'll tell you what I'm saying, though, I'm gonna
- 32:03Speaker 1: tie your airs down and I'm gonna get supplies and
- 32:08Speaker 1: I'm taking your whole top row out. Yeah, this is real.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Is real domestic violence? Yeah, this is the Domestic Violence
- 32:19Speaker 1: Awareness Month, all right. And other entertainment news, The Daily
- 32:23Speaker 1: Mail is reporting that the jay Z and Beyonce the
- 32:26Speaker 1: Carter's cut off the West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye they're
- 32:31Speaker 1: talking about because of their ties to President Trump. Jay
- 32:34Speaker 1: Z and Beyonce prominently supported both Barack Obama and his
- 32:38Speaker 1: would be successor, Hillary Clinton. We all know that. However,
- 32:41Speaker 1: Kanye has been vocal about his support for the president
- 32:45Speaker 1: right now, even rocking that Maga hat on multiple occasions.
- 32:49Speaker 1: He has a visit plan with President Trump and Jared Kushner,
- 32:52Speaker 1: the President's son in law, at the White House today
- 32:57Speaker 1: for today. You know, man, everybody's been talking about this.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I cannot understand that, man, I really can't. You know,
- 33:05Speaker 1: he thinks he's doing good, trying to do some good.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I understand the thought, but something, man, I had some
- 33:17Speaker 1: real good intentions when I went up there before he
- 33:20Speaker 1: was voted in I mean before the inauguration at that time.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You know, I went up there with some good intentions,
- 33:27Speaker 1: but when I once I found out how this all
- 33:30Speaker 1: plays out, I can't be bothered with you, man. You can't.
- 33:36Speaker 1: You can't do what you've done to these many people,
- 33:38Speaker 1: even if you go along with I just I just
- 33:42Speaker 1: don't want to be in the same I feel. I
- 33:44Speaker 1: think Kanye and you know what was interesting, they were
- 33:48Speaker 1: talking about him on C and N I'm doing the
- 33:51Speaker 1: whole panel on and he just doesn't have the right information.
- 34:00Speaker 1: And Donald Trump is talking about Kanye too, you know,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and Kanye he gets it. And then the crowd can't
- 34:07Speaker 1: even clap because he supports Donald Trump and anybody that's
- 34:11Speaker 1: anyone that supports Donald Trump, you know, he likes that support.
- 34:15Speaker 1: He likes to be liked, you know, and like Kanye
- 34:18Speaker 1: is leading the charg Yeah, Kanye likes him because remember, yeah,
- 34:22Speaker 1: he absolutely does. That's the way you have to look
- 34:24Speaker 1: at that. That's way he looks at it. Any way.
- 34:26Speaker 1: The president. Yeah, that's so Kanye wanted his black friends.
- 34:30Speaker 1: What this is? Wow? Uh, you've never seen a black
- 34:34Speaker 1: person up there. I'm rosa, Yeah, don't that turned into
- 34:41Speaker 1: a book. All right, Steve, it's time for today's headlines.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, cheese here ms an trip. Thank you
- 34:51Speaker 1: very much, everybody. This is and trip with the news,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and let's get right to it. Hurricane Michael has now
- 34:56Speaker 1: gone from a Category forward or a Category three hurricane.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Now it's tropical storm, so it's weakened a little bit further,
- 35:02Speaker 1: but its damage is really already done, and it continues
- 35:05Speaker 1: to do damage, believe it or not, as it pushes
- 35:07Speaker 1: its way through Florida to now Georgia. There have been
- 35:10Speaker 1: two storm related deaths reported, one in Florida and one
- 35:14Speaker 1: in Georgia. Almost every structure in Panama City Beach, Florida
- 35:17Speaker 1: has been damaged. That's where it made landfall yesterday. Tropical
- 35:20Speaker 1: Storm Michael is now sending rain in sixty mile and
- 35:23Speaker 1: narrow winds into just west of Augusta, Georgia, and northeast Macon,
- 35:28Speaker 1: churning its way out of Georgia now into South Carolina.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Later on, Michael's expected to push its way into North
- 35:33Speaker 1: Carolina and then off the coast again back into the Atlantic.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Hurricane Michael was the third most powerful storm to ever
- 35:40Speaker 1: hit the United States, by the way, as Hurricane Michael
- 35:43Speaker 1: pounded Florida. Yesterday, President Trump attended a campaign rally in
- 35:47Speaker 1: Pennsylvania where he sought to rev up the Party Faithful
- 35:50Speaker 1: in advance of the mid term elections. He did mention
- 35:53Speaker 1: the situation in Florida, though, at the beginning of his
- 35:55Speaker 1: speech and erie, saying that his thoughts and prayers are
- 35:58Speaker 1: with those in the storm's path, and that the government's
- 36:00Speaker 1: doing as much as it can. We've got food supplies,
- 36:03Speaker 1: food change, We're working with all of the states. And
- 36:07Speaker 1: let me answer you if this started out very innocently
- 36:09Speaker 1: a week ago. This was a small storm in an
- 36:12Speaker 1: area they never thought they sent. It grew into a monster.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Interestingly enough, Trump's attending and already sold out rally while
- 36:18Speaker 1: the storm rage is the very same situation he criticized
- 36:22Speaker 1: President Obama for when Obama had to attend to rally
- 36:26Speaker 1: six years ago during Superstorm Sandy. Health insurers will no
- 36:29Speaker 1: longer be able to stop pharmacists from telling customers that
- 36:32Speaker 1: paying cash is cheaper than using their insurance to pay
- 36:34Speaker 1: for medical prescriptions. That's a result of one of the
- 36:37Speaker 1: two bills signed into law yesterday by President Trump. Both
- 36:40Speaker 1: measures had strong bipartisan support. At the same time, though,
- 36:44Speaker 1: Trump is attacking the Democrats over their plan to expand
- 36:47Speaker 1: Medicare to cover all Americans. Trump calls that idea socialist.
- 36:51Speaker 1: According to a report, U S Intelligence or Services knew
- 36:54Speaker 1: that the Saudi government was planning to either capture or
- 36:56Speaker 1: kill Washington Post reported Jamaica Shogi, because Shogi had been
- 37:00Speaker 1: very critical of the Saudi princes over the years. Hasn't
- 37:02Speaker 1: been seen by the way, since he walked into the
- 37:04Speaker 1: Saudi consul in Turkey two weeks ago. US intelligence officials
- 37:07Speaker 1: say they heard the plans. However, it's not known if
- 37:10Speaker 1: they alerted Kaushogi or the Turkish government so they could
- 37:13Speaker 1: have protected him, believe it or not. According to a
- 37:16Speaker 1: new study by Bank of America, the top priority for
- 37:18Speaker 1: millennials is to own a home, and that's more important,
- 37:21Speaker 1: they say, than either traveling or getting married or having children.
- 37:25Speaker 1: The problem is that it's hard for young people to
- 37:27Speaker 1: save enough to buy property because the factors like student
- 37:30Speaker 1: loan JED and sky high rents. We know that. Finally,
- 37:32Speaker 1: today is National Myths and Fairy Tales Day. Hi Year's up.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Everybody on Steve Harvey Nation find that if Uncle Steve
- 37:40Speaker 1: is smart than his nephew. Might be a fairy tale.
- 37:42Speaker 1: We'll be back to any minutes after the hour and
- 37:44Speaker 1: a Steve Harvey warning show. You're listening to the Steve
- 37:48Speaker 1: Harvey just the reminder. We are helping our neighbors in
- 37:52Speaker 1: the Florida Panhandle and parts of southwestern Georgia, the Carolina's Alabama.

- 38:11Speaker 1: or donate whatever you can. But we definitely need your help,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and they do. You know something, man, this this was
- 38:18Speaker 1: a really really strong strong storm. Oh yeah, very well. Yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 1: the worst in the long time along especially on the
- 38:27Speaker 1: Florida panhandled. The the if there is an upside a
- 38:33Speaker 1: blessing in all this, it's the fact that it was
- 38:36Speaker 1: so fast moving. It didn't lay there like Harvey did
- 38:40Speaker 1: in Texas, because Harvey just laid on Texas. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 1: it created and then the other one, Florence, was really
- 38:50Speaker 1: really slow moving. Yeah. If there is an upside, and
- 38:57Speaker 1: there's nothing when you're dealing with misery, you know, But
- 39:00Speaker 1: it just so many people stayed. But what happened was
- 39:03Speaker 1: it was a category one out and it picked up
- 39:06Speaker 1: so much speed that it caught Some people couldn't get
- 39:10Speaker 1: out right because they thought it was only going to
- 39:12Speaker 1: be you're right, Steve, only going to be a two.
- 39:14Speaker 1: And when they said that, then they said, okay, well
- 39:17Speaker 1: maybe we'll honker down and ride it out. But then
- 39:20Speaker 1: by the time they made up their mind, it was
- 39:22Speaker 1: upgraded two or three or four, and they couldn't leave. Yeah,
- 39:26Speaker 1: and it was fast moving, you know, and they couldn't
- 39:29Speaker 1: leave at that time. So our prayer. But I think
- 39:32Speaker 1: I think that we can't look at hurricanes and storms
- 39:35Speaker 1: anymore as numbers. If you see a storm that's a
- 39:38Speaker 1: hundred and fifty five miles per hour, it doesn't matter
- 39:41Speaker 1: what category it is, and get on out the way.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Yeah about what they you're right, stop thinking. You gotta
- 39:49Speaker 1: stop thinking like that. Yeah, you're absolutely right. You're gonna
- 39:53Speaker 1: make a lot of things. Yeah, I've been through a
- 39:56Speaker 1: lot of them. I know I've been through. I ain't
- 40:00Speaker 1: been too as men as you have. Yeah, I've only
- 40:03Speaker 1: been through I've only one in my life. Yeah, I've
- 40:07Speaker 1: been on any coast. Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, We've always
- 40:13Speaker 1: been inland. I've lived through several earthquakes, but no hurricane,
- 40:17Speaker 1: so I'm not ready for that. Sure earthquake is something different.
- 40:22Speaker 1: It is something no warning warning. Man, my first one out,
- 40:27Speaker 1: he didn't go with anything. Yeah. Some tsunami that ain't
- 40:31Speaker 1: no warning, is it? Alright? Coming up at thirty four
- 40:34Speaker 1: after the hour, guys, we're gonna play the game. We're
- 40:36Speaker 1: gonna switch gears here and play the game. Are you

- 57:25Speaker 1: everything was perfect, but then I started checking his phone
- 57:29Speaker 1: and I saw messages between him and a lot of
- 57:32Speaker 1: different ladies. He usually text one girl more than others,
- 57:37Speaker 1: so it seems like he really is trying to get
- 57:39Speaker 1: to know her. I questioned him about the text messages
- 57:42Speaker 1: and he promised that he would stop talking to all
- 57:45Speaker 1: of the girls. We had a big blow up that night,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but I let it slide. The next night, I was
- 57:51Speaker 1: out drinking and when I got home, I checked his
- 57:54Speaker 1: phone and saw that he had been texting back and
- 57:57Speaker 1: forth with the main girl all day. I got so
- 58:00Speaker 1: upset that I beat him up. I hate to admit it,
- 58:05Speaker 1: but I put my hands on him three times, and
- 58:08Speaker 1: I bid him a few times, all because he likes
- 58:11Speaker 1: to text other females. Whenever I jump on him, he
- 58:15Speaker 1: goes to stay at his mom's house for a few days.
- 58:18Speaker 1: He stayed at his mom's house for two nights, and
- 58:21Speaker 1: when he came home, things were back to normal until yesterday.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I came home from work and he was already home
- 58:29Speaker 1: and said we needed to talk. He told me he's
- 58:32Speaker 1: tired of me putting my hands on him and he
- 58:35Speaker 1: is moving out. He had already packed his clothes and
- 58:38Speaker 1: said that there is nothing I can do to make
- 58:41Speaker 1: him change his mind. I told him, if he leaves,
- 58:44Speaker 1: our relationship is over. He said, that he needs space.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I suggested that he goes stay with his mom instead
- 58:51Speaker 1: of moving out. He is so quick to walk away.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So should I fight for this relationship? Uh? No? I
- 58:59Speaker 1: I think you've done enough fighting. Okay, more than enough. Uh.
- 59:05Speaker 1: The let us started out with I like to fight,
- 59:08Speaker 1: blah blah blah. But but seriously, I think you're you're
- 59:12Speaker 1: abusing this man and you really need to stop. I
- 59:15Speaker 1: hope he does walk away from you. I really do,
- 59:17Speaker 1: because who wants to be beat down by their girlfriend? Uh?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Who likes to fight? Who admits that she likes to
- 59:23Speaker 1: fight and bite? Uh? This is serious to me, just
- 59:27Speaker 1: as it would be serious if he were beating you down.
- 59:29Speaker 1: If he's cheating, you need to leave him, not put
- 59:32Speaker 1: your hands on him. I commend him. You didn't put
- 59:35Speaker 1: that in the letter, so I'm assuming he doesn't beat you,
- 59:39Speaker 1: So I commend him for not retaliating and keeping his
- 59:42Speaker 1: hands off you. This is not a relationship. This is
- 59:45Speaker 1: an abusive uh situation controlling situation here and Uh, I'm
- 59:49Speaker 1: glad that he's leaving you. Steve, Wow, let's beat there up.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I mean she's being you know you've been in a relationship.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Three is in the beginning, it was perfect. Then you
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: start checking his phone. You saw some messages between him
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and different people. But he's texting his one girl more
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: than the others. You questioned him about it, he promised
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: he stopped talking to all the girls. And you had
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: a big blow up that night, but you let it slide.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: See that right there as a warning. We had a
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: big blow up that night, but I let it slide.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Now we're about to find out what happened when she don't.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Let's stop slide. Pay attention now. Next night wasn't long.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: That's just slide last night, But I'm gonna show you something.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Next night, I was out drinking. I got home, I
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: checked his phone, saw that he had been texting back
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: from the main girl all day. Nothing nothing, nothing. Let
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: me stop you. He was out drinking. Could it be?
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I'm just asking, could it be that after you started
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: drinking and you came home, then was the same messages
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: from yesterday? You got drunk. Now you came here. Look
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: at it for here there is again. So now he've
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: been texting back from man girl. I got so upset
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I beat him up. What you just went in now
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and start wailing on it right now? Let me let
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: me say something else to y'all. Here's what could possibly
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: have happened. Here's what could have possibly happened. Okay, because
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: if you just go in the room and just beat
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: a man up, I'm assuming you got a little more
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: weight on you than he do. I'm gonna assume that
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: y'all don't want me to say that. Hush over Jerusalem,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and I'm not. I was good. I know what you're saying,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: all right, but let me rephrase it. Then I've been
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: texted back forward. May God, I got so upset I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: beat him up. All right, Hold that thought, Steve. We
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: gotta take a little break here. Uh, we'll be back
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: um with part two if Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: three after the hour. Today's subject I like to fight
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and bite because he doesn't act right. Right after this
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you're listening to all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject I like to fight and
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: bite because he doesn't act right. Been dating man three years,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: everything was perfect. Came home one looked through his phone,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: found out he had been texting a lot of girls,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: with one girl in particular more than the others. They
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: got into it he promised that he would stop talking
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to all the girls. They had a big blow up
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: that night, but I let it slide. That was a warning.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: But the next night she was out drinking. Now that's
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: when we left that. I'm gonna let it slide go
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: because I'm fool. Now I've been drinking and I'm finn'ly
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: gonna do something. I checked his phone saw that he
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: had been texting back and forth with this main girl
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: all day. Okay, hold on? So I got so upset.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I went in. Stie went war was answer? I went inside?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Now anger? What my anger went a little bit? I
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: beat him up. Wow. Now I thought this might be
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a a weight issue. But let me just leave it
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: at that. Maybe it ain't. Let me try to read on.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Then she sounded like a man. I hate to admitted,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: but I don't put hands on it three times. That
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: that's a dude statement, right there. Hate that admitted man,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: but I don't put hands on in three times. And
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I beat him a few times, all because he likes
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: to text other females. So now let me ask you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: a question. Is you his woman or is you his
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: parole office? Because you act like you got rights to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: punish him for violating probation or something. Then they go
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: right here whenever I jump on him. Let me tell
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you what she wanted to say. Right whenever I jump
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: on here, he goes stay at his mama's house a
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: few days. You know what I really see in this letter?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: When la I whip his asked his punk, ask go
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: stay at his mama house. That's what I got it. Yes,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you know, then he's so scared of me. He stayed
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: at Then she didn't say this, but he stayed at
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: his mama's house for two nights and when he came
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: home things back to normal. I think what this? Let
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: us say he was so scared. He stayed at his
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: mama's house for two nights, and when he came home,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: things went back to normal. Until yesterday. Oh, it don't
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: take long. I came home from work, he already at home.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: He come to my We need to talk, he said,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: tired me putting hands on him, and he moving out.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: He already had patged clothes and said there's nothing I
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: can do to make him change his mind. I told him,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: told him, if he leaves, our relationship is over. It's
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: already over. Y'all. Ain't in a relationship, y'all in a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: fight club. He said he needs space, he needs to heal.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: He don't need space, he needed to heal. He can't
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: keep going down at your job. Tohow. He ran into
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a dough nob you just in here busting him up.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I suggested that he goes stay with his mom instead
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: of moving out. He is so quick to walk away?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: What what he is so quick to walk away? Hey,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: it's called running. He didn't walk away. He ran and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: stay to his mama's house. He's scared of you. Should
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I fight for this relationship? All you wanna do is fight?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Huh oh? You want to fight for the relationship. You
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: want to fight after you come here from drinking. You
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: want to fight. If you go through his phone, you
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: want to fight, if he go over his mama's house.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: You just want to fight. And fighting ain't good enough you.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You won't bite some damn body now he got bite
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: marks all over in black eyes? Dog? What is happening
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to you? This is ridiculous? This is this is this?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: You're being beat up by this woman. This is a
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: domestic violence, Yes it is. Women. Women can be accused
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: of domestic violence just like me. And you are an
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: abusive woman, and he should leave you. What he really
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: needs to do since you're abusive, he needs to go
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: and get with somebody. See, he gonna move out so
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: he can start texting who he wanted because the mother
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: girls ain't jumping on him. You're jumping on and beating
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: him up, drinking, beating texas. You ain't moving out. Go
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: stay with your mama. You know how this go. Now,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: let's let's get a little serious with this because all
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: jokes aside, this is domestic violence, and I think you
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: have some statistics that layout, so what people to know
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: this is kind of crazy. Women can commit domestic violence,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: not normally it's the other way around. But there are
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: lots of cases of women who are guilty of domestic violence,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: lots But the important man is gonna go report that absolutely. Steve,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: you're right, you know you're right. This is sad. So
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: let's just say in this letter, hey, Steve, can we
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: get serious for a moment since it's domestic awareness and
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I just wanted to give like a couple of statistics
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: if we had time, that's what you should to help
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: just let out. Uh, you know, Steve, this is breast
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: cancer Awareness month, but it's also Domestic Violence Awareness Month,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and I just wanted to throw out a couple of statistics.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: You know, uh, only five percent of domestic violence instances
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: or encounters are reported, and estimated, one in four women
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: and one in seven men aged eighteen plus in the
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: US have experienced domestic violence in their lifetimes. And every
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: nine seconds, a woman in the US is assaulted or beaten.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: So this is you know, this is pretty serious, this
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: letter and domestic violence in general. And you know something, Shirley,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: five per cent of people who this happens to report
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: it because it's just like assaulting a woman you was
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: sexually a solid woman. They don't want to report it.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: You saw what happened with the Kavanaugh hearing confirmation. You
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: come and you say, this is what happened, and all
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: of a sudden, the President of the United States is
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: talking about it's all the hoax. That's so crazy. How
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: they do women. That's right, that's absolutely right. If you
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: want more information, go to the Alma G. Davis Foundation
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: dot org Alma G. Davis Foundation dot org, or you
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: can simply call six seven eight nine seven nine four
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: six four. All right, thank you, Steve. Please email us
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: or Instagram. What's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter. It's
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM. Or at my Girls Shirley now coming

- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: please introduce our girl from the talk. Thank you, Steve hann.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: If everybody listening to the Steve Harvey bart it Shell
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: now listen. I think everybody's getting like off track what
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: we supposed to be doing out Bestralia scrib babies. What
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: do you mean, Cheryl? Let me tell you what I'm
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: talking about. Everybody got their panties in the bunch because
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Holder said if that when they go low, because he
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: was saying the first lady, Michelle Obama, the only first
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: lady I really know, Michelle Obama said when they go low,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: we go high. And he said, well, you know, maybe
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: that needs to be different. When they go low, we
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: kick them. Now, let me tell you something. I don't
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: think Holder was really talking about kicking nobody. And my
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: right brother, listen, he want to talking about kicking nobody.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: What he was talking about is we gotta stop just
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: letting stuff happen. We got to get into. What John
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Lewis was say that good trouble, y'all a little gotta
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: quote June sixteen, say, sometimes you have to get in
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: the way. You have to make some noise by speaking
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: up and speaking out against injustice and in action. Ashtag
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: good trouble. It's good trouble to get into. That's what
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Eric hold Us saying. That's what Maxine Waters saying, That's
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: what Corey Corey Bucker saying. That's what what that girl
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Na commed Lift Harris's saying. We got to get up
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: and fight. Why the census is coming in twenties. That
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: lets you know representatives you're gonna get by county nothing.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Don't be afraid of that. I'm the scariest person in
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: the world. People don't even know where I live, what
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: neighborhood I really live. Well, if you see me at
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the grocery store, I don't really live in that neighborhood.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I'm visiting people that I kicking with. That's right, that's right.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: All I'm saying is we got to start fighting. We
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: got to stop letting things happen. We got to get
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: in that good trouble. We got to register people to vote.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: We got to know in every state what is the deadline.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: We got to know where the absentee ballots are from Chicago.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I've raised Chicago, we vote early and offer. So we
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: got to take over the House and the Senate in
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: the mid terms. See, we got to do what they
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: did in Chicago. You ain't never seen nobody put a
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: white cop in jail. That's justice. We let the system
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: work for us. So now we gotta make sure we
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: ready take over the House and the Senate in the
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: mid terms, get ready for the sisters in then start
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: voting people out of office. If you don't stand with us,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: then we feel you already against us. And we're just
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: not talking about black people. We're talking about everybody in America, everybody,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: because they ain't just doing it to us, They're doing
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: it to everybody. And now at the time for us
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to join together and get in that good trouble. Y'all ready.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And we got dudes, black media, black radio, black newspapers
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: to tell the soldiers, which are the black people, that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the Democratic Party depend on what we're gonna do, because
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: we got to be there. We got to be there.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I'm fired up from ready to go, and I'm a
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Republican and I'm about to join the other side. Now,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I ain't gonna change my party affiliation like no, I'm
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: not gonna do like bloom Bird. First, I ain't got
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: that bloom Bird money to be changing like that. Second,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: you need me, you need me. I'm the one that
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: sat by the door, Tommy, I'm the one that needs
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: to be in the meeting with my phone on going
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: me be at the church. I'll tell you all about it.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: But right now, all of us that hold the microphone,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: all of us that got a little bit of money,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: we need to be donated. You could donate five dollars.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: You ain't got to donate big money, long money, donate
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: some short money. We got to make sure that people
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: get elected. We got to make sure that right thinking,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: moderate Republicans get elected so they don't be so scared.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I almost said chicken, but you know I ain't gonna
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: say that, Junior on that. But you can't be so scared.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You got to do. You
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: got to do what need to be dumb, and we
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: need moderate Republicans to join us. The dude is already
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: on the Supreme Court. Let's put the House in the
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Senate together, and if you need to impeach him because
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: he has perjured himself, because I believe having our perjury
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: to himself, then we got to get to it. Let's
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: get in that good trouble. Y'all need to come on,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Let's do this. People have died for our right to
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: be at the table. We at the table. Now we
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: got to start marching. We got to come together. We
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: got to take back our communities. We got to stop
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: incarcerrating all of our future. These young children out here
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: being incarcerrated, give them education and jobs. I know I
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: went longer than I was volosed to, but I need
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: to get the soldiers ready for the good trouble that
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: we're about to get in. We got less than thirty
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: days to flip the house in the Senate. When we
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: do that, they will really respect us because we know
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you're gonna get up out the White House in twenty
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Let's get in that good trouble. Come on, everybody, I'm out.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: We calls right, that's right, voting matter. Voting matter does.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Take that hat out. Yeah. The only problem I had
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: with Kanye is is when you wear a hat and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you support him and you try to get everybody to
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: go along to like him. I understand you're thinking that
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: love is the way I got that. But what you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: need to do is meet with him to get him
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: to exhibit some of that love that you're asking all
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: of us to show towards him. This is a president
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: who has a slogan, make America great Again. If you
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: ask black people what year was America great for them?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I want to know what year that is before we
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: start going back to making America great again? When was it?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: It wasn't the twinnies. It wasn't what thirties, forties, fifties.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Damn show wasn't the sixties. I ain't see all that
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: popping in the seventies, eighties. We steal at Wall nineties,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: early two thousand. What time period is he referencing when
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: he says let's make America great again. That's why Kanye
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: should take the hat off, because you gotta understand what
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: you're saying when you make statements. That's right, that's right.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Next time we do this, we're gonna talk about what strategies,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: how we're gonna get people marching, We're gonna start taking
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: over stuff, and we're gonna get in that good trouble,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: and we're gonna do it the right and the legal
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: smart way. I ain't no mob, I ain't know mob.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I'm an educated black woman, and I'm gonna organize people,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: all people, all people, gag, straight, black, white, every race

- 1:16:49Speaker 1: has got to change, has got to check. Let's get
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: in that trouble back bay. Alright, coming outside, that's alright, girl.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Coming up. At the top of the hour, Carla is

- 1:17:15Speaker 1: we go. Oh really, Steve, I'm gonna talk about the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: reality show Married to Medicine. I'm gonna get a little
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: serious on on this particular show. Uh. Dr Contesta Contessa,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: she elected to undergo a double massectomy and she did this. Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: she did this to reduce her risk of developing breast cancer.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: And this was a disease that claimed the life of
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: her mother. Now a lot of people thought it was
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: a little drastic, but she did it. She did the
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: surgery for a peace of mind, and uh, doctor Contessa,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: she was just sick of worrying about getting irregular mammograms
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and uh getting called back year after years saying they
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: saw something the mamogram. So she wanted to do something
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: about it. And she said, um, even though she had
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the surgery, it's not a risk of getting rid of
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: cancer completely. You know, there still is a chance that
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: you could get it. But she felt like her wrist
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: had drastically decreased, so her husband supported her. She didn't
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: want to tell her children and she actually had this surgery.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: And as you know, I'm bringing all of this up

- 1:19:27Speaker 1: lot of fun. Shout yes, shout out to the survivors
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and co survivors. We are going to fight to end
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: breast cancer. And you guys know I'm a tireless breast
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: cancer advocate. I lost my mom to breast cancer. But
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: we are going to fight together to fight to end
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: this disease. Okay, So we'll see you Saturday in Chicago

- 1:20:09Speaker 1: is there, my brother Fish is there, everybody, my friend. Well,

- 1:20:17Speaker 1: We're doing outlet, we're shopping you now, we don't go
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: to Chicago. So listen to this, you guys. Joe Jude,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you know from the Real Housewives New Jersey. All Right,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: So they're saying he might be deported to his native
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: country of Italy after he's released from prison. Now, this
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: is according to TMZ, he has begged the judge to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: let him stay in the US with his right with
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: his wife, Teresa and Steve. She's been on your talk
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: show before, right, Yeah, so she is uh asking the
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: judge to let her husband stay after his sentences over.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: But they're saying so far no dice for the judaic
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: is did man, let me tell you something? Let me out?
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: You can send me wherever you won't. Can I be free?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Is it almost sun Carla for him to get out? Well,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I think he served about maybe halfway through his forty
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: one month prison sentence. And this is for conspiracy to
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: commit wire and bankruptcy fraud. So Teresa, they say, sources
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: are saying that she's devastated about the news. And you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: know they have four kids, and um, you don't know
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: what they're gonna do. What's she's gonna do with her marriage.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: If her husband is deported to Italy and she lives
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: in New Jersey, is she going with him? She should?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: We deported Teresa saying Carla that she's not going right. Well,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: some people are saying she's saying that, and then some
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: people are saying she will go with him. So you
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: don't know, you know, really what to believe. Um. She
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: also Teresa she as President Trump. She's she asked for
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: his help back in two thousand and sixteen, right before
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Joe was going to prison, before he was sentenced, she
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: wrote a letter and she was hoping that the president
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: would vouch for her husband and President Trump did not,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: And so, um, we'll see. And you know, she knows
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Mr Trump the president from Celebrity Apprentice. She was like,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: it was like the season of that the franchise, And um,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: she has not heard from the president, so that will
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: be interesting to see. I'll keep you posting. Yeah, she
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: told Timz just today. I think yesterday I should say
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: that she wasn't going. She was staying, Wow, she need
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: she needs some take. She needs that. She got to
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: go up there talking just got out of prison herself. Yes,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: them boys played different gangster yeah, what else she got Carla?

- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Nobody does it better than you. But did you hear
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: about the art prank recently? Uh. Okay, the world renowned
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: graffiti artists bank Ski Uh bank Ski shredded one of
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: his artworks the moment it was sold at an auction
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: for fourteen million dollars. Okay, did you hear what I said?
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: He shredded it the moment it was sold for US
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: at fourteen no, no, no, one point four million? All right,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: bank Ski. Banksy revealed on Instagram his report. His remote
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: control paper shredder was hidden within the picture frame of
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: a painting called Girl with Balloon. The highest bidder paid,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: like I said, one point four million, and then at
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the very moment the gavel uh dropped at the auction
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: and said soul, the shredder went into action. The Girl
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: with Balloon painting began to slide out of its frame
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: in one hundred then strips. The crowd gaps and then
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: applauded at banks He's brilliance that I saw it actually,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: but it was actually it's the real painting. And what
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: he did was as soon as they bought it and
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: they lifted it, Garty lifted off the wall, he hit
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: a button, he had the paper go down. It was
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: set up that way to do it. Yeah, yeah, that's
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: how he wanted. Yeah, he had the built in shredder
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: on the frame and he put it on Instagram how
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: he actually did it. And so now they're saying that
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: the painting is worth more now. But yeah, well they
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: didn't shred completely. Like half of it came out and
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: had shredded tattered ends on it. The rest of it
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: was to paint. They did say it's worth more now.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: It's because that's that's that's that's that rich pranking right there.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: I ain't got it. I ain't got that fun that's
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: there yet. Ninth that's like if I go do something
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: to Uncle Steve car you see what I'm saying, that's
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: rich pranking. Yeah, I don't believe that came out of
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: your mouth. Like if I take all the ties off
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: here rows and put some cutless ties on it, See,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: that's rich pranking. See that's rich pranking. But you know
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: what that's gonna get you? Yes, come on, what pot
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: just like right off the neighborhood blocks. You're gonna take
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you back in Cleveland? Can you imagine? No, everybody at
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: the auction didn't know the gas. What you're gonna got next?
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I don't know but one rich person. So I'm trying
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: to figure out what his stuff I can. How about
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: I put something uncle's soup. And when he walked on
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: stage and family few, it just started shredding and coming
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: off here there just naked by the tag. By the
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: time he gets sent to state, he just butt ass

- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Now that's funny right there. You have one more time
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: to me. I got a remote control and when I
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: hit it, as soon as he walked out there, I
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: just hit the button. You know what I'm saying. I
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: hit the button in the whole suit just started shred

- 1:28:03Speaker 1: this crazy Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this, put
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: some clothes on. Steve, you're listening to the String Show
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: and Entertainment News. Fabulous is facing four felony charges tied
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: to his alleged assault on Emily b, his longtime girlfriend.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: We all remember this story and the mother of his
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: two children. TMZ is reporting that Fabulous was indicted last
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: week in New Jersey on one count of domestic violence
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: and one count of possession of a weapon a pair
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: of scissors. The incident and question, where he's accused of
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: threatening to kill Emily and her family members, was partially
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: captured on video. She says he punched her in the
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: face so hard it knocked out her front teeth in
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: the weeks leading up to another altercation in their driveway.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: The couple are still together through all of this. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: and the last few months they've been spotted in public
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: at events and on family vacations. Let me say this
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: to you. If you knock my damn teethout, say it,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: don't go to sleep. They're still togither, yes, and that's
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: that will be the only reason we steal together, because
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: I'm waiting on you to go to sleep. Get my teeth,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: and I don't get yours. What I'm saying though, all right?
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: And other entertainment news, The Daily Mail is reporting that
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: the jay Z and Beyonce the Carter's cut off the West,
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian and Kanye they're talking about because of their
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: ties to President Trump. Jay Z and Beyonce prominently supported
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: both Barack Obama and his would be successor, Hillary Clinton.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: We all know that. However, Kanye has been vocal about
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: his support for the president right now, even rocking that
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Maga hat on multiple occasion. He has a visit plan
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: with the President Trump and Jared Kushner, the President's son
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: in law, at the White House today today. You know, man,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: everybody's been talking about this. I cannot understand that, man,
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: I really can't. You know, he thinks he's doing good,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: trying to do some good. I understand the thought. But
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: you had something, man, I had some real good intentions
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: when I went up there before he was voting in
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: I mean before the inauguration at that point. You know,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: I went up there with some good intentions. But when
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: I once I found out how this all plays out,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I can't be bothered with you. Man. You can't do
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: what you've done to these many people, even if you
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: go along with I think Kanye and you know what
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: was interesting, they were talking about him on C and
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: N I'm doing the whole panel on Yeah, and this
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: is it's been. He just doesn't have the right information.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: And Donald Trump is talking about Kanye too, you know,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: and Kanye he gets it. And then the crowd can't
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: even clap because he supports Donald Trump and anybody that's
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: anyone that supports Donald Trump, you know, he likes that support.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: He likes to be liked, you know, and like Kanye
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: is leading the charge. Yeah, Kanye likes him because remember, yeah,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: he absolutely does. That's the way you have to look
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: at that. That's the way he looks at it. Anyway,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: the president. Yeah, so Kanye wanted his black friends. That's
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: what the wow. Uh, you've never seen a black person
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: up there. I'm a rosa before. Yeah, don't that turned
