- 0:00Speaker 1: Republicans came out swinging I'm being sarcastic. No, they laid
- 0:05Speaker 1: down and voted with other Democrats and a Senate vote
- 0:08Speaker 1: sixty seven to thirty to screw you out of over
- 0:10Speaker 1: one trillion dollars that they claim is going to go
- 0:14Speaker 1: for infrastructure. How many Republicans sold out? A lot eighteen
- 0:21Speaker 1: Republicans sold out on this radical Democratic infrastructure plan. Now
- 0:28Speaker 1: it's not just that they sold out, it's what we know.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We know that these eighteen Republicans did not read the
- 0:37Speaker 1: infrastructure bill. We're talking about Lindsay Graham, We're talking about
- 0:43Speaker 1: Mitt Romney, We're talking about Orn Hatch, We're talking about,
- 0:48Speaker 1: I mean, a lot of Republicans that just went along
- 0:52Speaker 1: with it, including Mitch McConnell. These eighteen Senate Republicans did
- 0:58Speaker 1: not read the bill. Now, I am not criticizing Democrats,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and I want to make that very clear right now,
- 1:03Speaker 1: because I knew they were going to vote for this.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I expected it from them. It was Republicans jobs, and
- 1:08Speaker 1: these are the people of the swamp to read the
- 1:11Speaker 1: damn bill to do their job. Now, of the eighteen
- 1:16Speaker 1: Senate Republicans, it sold out, seventeen of them voting Wednesday
- 1:20Speaker 1: night to advance that one point to trillion dollars radical
- 1:25Speaker 1: infrastructure bill. And it's not infrastructure. Know that this has
- 1:29Speaker 1: nothing to do with infrastructure. It's a disguise in the
- 1:32Speaker 1: name of infrastructure, because who could, of course be against infrastructure.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The Senate voted to invote Culture or advance HR thirty
- 1:42Speaker 1: six eighty four, the legislative vehicle for the one point
- 1:46Speaker 1: to trillion dollar infrastructure bill. The vote featured Republican and
- 1:51Speaker 1: Democrats support for the bill, and then the Senate voted
- 1:54Speaker 1: sixty seven to seven or sixty seven to thirty two,
- 1:58Speaker 1: seventeen Republicans in faven voking culture on the bill, moving
- 2:02Speaker 1: it forward. All of them voted for this procedural vote
- 2:05Speaker 1: without reading the bill. Let me say that again, all
- 2:08Speaker 1: of them voted for the bill to move forward without
- 2:11Speaker 1: reading the damn bill. Why because it would have been
- 2:15Speaker 1: impossible for them to read the bill that does not
- 2:18Speaker 1: exist yet. That's how I know that I'm factually correct.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Now the media is not telling you this. There is
- 2:26Speaker 1: no bill yet. Let me say it again, there is
- 2:29Speaker 1: no bill yet. They just move forward with one point
- 2:32Speaker 1: to trillion dollars in port bill spending screwing you in
- 2:36Speaker 1: the name of infrastructure. And none of them read the
- 2:39Speaker 1: bill because it's impossible for them to read a bill
- 2:41Speaker 1: that does not exist. The bill has still not been
- 2:44Speaker 1: written despite months of negotiations, So they're voting on a
- 2:48Speaker 1: bill that they don't even know what the bill says
- 2:50Speaker 1: yet because the bill hasn't been written yet. Now, the
- 2:53Speaker 1: Senate Republicans who voted with the Democrats on a one
- 2:57Speaker 1: point to trillion dollars lush fund include, and I'm gonna
- 3:02Speaker 1: getam every name, because many of you, depending on where
- 3:05Speaker 1: you live, need to know what's happening here. Roy Blunt Missouri,
- 3:11Speaker 1: Richard Burr North Carolina, Shelley Moore West Virginia. Bill Cassidy
- 3:17Speaker 1: Republican Louisiana. Mike Crappo, I love that guy's name, Republican, Idaho,
- 3:23Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham South Carolina. Mitch McConnell Kentucky Murkowski, Alaska, Rob Portman, Ohio,
- 3:32Speaker 1: Jim Reich Republican, Idaho, Mitt Romney, Republican, Utah, Tom Tillis Republican,
- 3:39Speaker 1: North Carolina, Todd Young, Republican Indiana, Chuck Grassley, Republican. You
- 3:45Speaker 1: know Chuck Grassley, Idaho. John Hoven Republican, Kevin Kramer, Republican
- 3:52Speaker 1: North Dakota, North Dakota, and Susan Collins, Republican from Maine. Now.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Senator Mike Rowns, Republican South Dakota was absent but signal
- 4:01Speaker 1: that he would vote yes as well to advance the legislation.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Even though no one knows what the legislation is. No
- 4:06Speaker 1: one's read the legislation because it hasn't been written yet.
- 4:10Speaker 1: These Senate Republicans voted to advance a bill even though
- 4:13Speaker 1: lawmakers haven't even drafted a physical bill yet. I want
- 4:18Speaker 1: you to think about how corrupt that is. That's like
- 4:21Speaker 1: you going out and buying a house and you don't
- 4:23Speaker 1: even know what the house looks like, and there aren't
- 4:26Speaker 1: even plans for the house, and you're just buying something
- 4:29Speaker 1: without knowing what it's going to be. There may be
- 4:32Speaker 1: no bathrooms, there may be no bedrooms, or may not
- 4:35Speaker 1: be a closet. You don't even know how big the
- 4:37Speaker 1: house is. But you just spend a bunch of money
- 4:40Speaker 1: buying a house, an object that doesn't exist, with no
- 4:43Speaker 1: plans for it. You don't even know what the plan
- 4:46Speaker 1: is for the future of it. Think about how messed up.
- 4:49Speaker 1: That is, that is exactly what these Republicans did. How
- 4:53Speaker 1: hard is it for these Republicans to stand up and
- 4:56Speaker 1: say no, not just no, but hell no, we don't.
- 4:59Speaker 1: We don't have bills that aren't bills. We don't vote
- 5:03Speaker 1: to advance something when we don't even know what it is.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's not what we do. So when we have a
- 5:09Speaker 1: bill that we can actually put our hands on and
- 5:12Speaker 1: we can read the bill, we will then vote to
- 5:15Speaker 1: move forward on a bill. But until that happens, call
- 5:18Speaker 1: us old school. We don't advance legislation when there is
- 5:21Speaker 1: no legislation to actually advance. That is what a normal,
- 5:26Speaker 1: insane society would do. That is what normal and good
- 5:30Speaker 1: conservatives would do. But remember this is about screwing you
- 5:35Speaker 1: out of one point two trillion dollars trillion, not billion,
- 5:40Speaker 1: not million, trillion. This is how they do it. There
- 5:46Speaker 1: is no bill, there's not even a draft of a bill,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and they're voting on moving legislation forward. Why would you
- 5:55Speaker 1: do this because you don't want people to see what's
- 5:57Speaker 1: in the bill. This goes back to something happened and
- 6:01Speaker 1: you guys will remember this. Remember when Nancy Pelosi said,
- 6:06Speaker 1: we won't know what's in the bill until we pass
- 6:08Speaker 1: the bill referring to Obamacare, and people thought it was
- 6:11Speaker 1: like the most abusive, egregious statement ever by an elected official.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And it worked, and she still kept her job in hell,
- 6:19Speaker 1: became the Speaker of the House again. Remember that. Once
- 6:24Speaker 1: Democrats figured out that you can actually move legislation forward
- 6:28Speaker 1: by naming it something or demanding that it moved forward
- 6:32Speaker 1: without you even knowing what it is, without even knowing
- 6:36Speaker 1: what's in it, without having time to read what's in it,
- 6:39Speaker 1: then you can pull this type of crap off. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened. The White House is very excited
- 6:46Speaker 1: about this infrastructure bill because they know they're about to
- 6:49Speaker 1: get their hands on one point through two trillion dollars
- 6:52Speaker 1: import real spending that they can do whatever the hell
- 6:54Speaker 1: they want to do with it. They're fired up, like
- 6:56Speaker 1: they're pumped. Now. We don't have a copy of the bill,
- 6:59Speaker 1: we don't have a bill, it hasn't been written yet,
- 7:01Speaker 1: doesn't matter. We're fired up. Listen to what Jensaki had
- 7:04Speaker 1: to say at the White House well part of his
- 7:05Speaker 1: effort to lift up and talk about his by American
- 7:09Speaker 1: agenda as well as the infrastructure package. Finally, I just
- 7:13Speaker 1: wanted to note that after additional engagement with a bipartisan
- 7:19Speaker 1: group yesterday, we're enthusiastic about getting the Bipartisan Infrastructure Plan
- 7:24Speaker 1: across the finish line. Confident we'll be there soon. We're
- 7:27Speaker 1: encouraged this morning by positive comments by Senator Romney. Our
- 7:31Speaker 1: team remains hard at work, as do a number of
- 7:34Speaker 1: the supporters on the hill. With that go ahead, Alex,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I love this, and we're really thankful for Mitt Romney.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I mean, this is Mitt Romney, by the way, is
- 7:43Speaker 1: auditioning for his next job. I want you to understand
- 7:47Speaker 1: what Mitt Romney's doing right now. Mitt Romney's afraid he's
- 7:49Speaker 1: not gonna be able to get reelected. So what he's
- 7:51Speaker 1: doing is he's planning his next job with a Democratic administration,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and he wants to be an ambassador. So that's what
- 7:57Speaker 1: he's setting himself up for right now. He's playing the
- 8:00Speaker 1: ambassador game. And that's why he's working so diligently against
- 8:05Speaker 1: the Republican Party because I think he knows that there's
- 8:07Speaker 1: not a sane Republican that's going to get in the
- 8:09Speaker 1: White House that would ever appoint him to an ambassadorship,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but a lot of Democrats would because he's a useful
- 8:15Speaker 1: idiot for them. It's the same thing we saw with
- 8:17Speaker 1: Jeff Flake. Now he's gonna you know, oh, it's being
- 8:19Speaker 1: an ambassador, right, you screw the Republicans. Hey, we'll give
- 8:21Speaker 1: you a job. We'll give you a powerful, important job
- 8:24Speaker 1: in our ambassadorship program, and you'll be a great voice
- 8:28Speaker 1: for us around the world. That's how you play this game.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And that's what Mitt Romney's doing. He's playing his exit
- 8:33Speaker 1: strategy into another high ranking government official position that is
- 8:36Speaker 1: an appointee of the president United States of America. So
- 8:39Speaker 1: when you hear them say this, know why they're saying this.
- 8:42Speaker 1: This is why it's being set, plain and simple. Now
- 8:46Speaker 1: they're also excited about it because there's zero accountability. We
- 8:49Speaker 1: don't know what's in the bill. They don't care because
- 8:53Speaker 1: this means we can just start spending money on whatever
- 8:55Speaker 1: the hell we want to spend money on. This doesn't
- 8:58Speaker 1: have to go for structure either. If you think this
- 9:01Speaker 1: is going to go for infrastructure, you're not paying attention.
- 9:04Speaker 1: This does not have to go for infrastructure. If you
- 9:07Speaker 1: don't believe me, when we let you hear what an
- 9:09Speaker 1: actual senator had to say about infrastructure, infrastuctstruce us to
- 9:12Speaker 1: be roads and things like that. No, no no, no, no, no, no,
- 9:15Speaker 1: we're not doing that. Chuck Schumer just came out talking
- 9:17Speaker 1: about this infrastructure package and he says I will not
- 9:20Speaker 1: pass it, however, unless it has a reduction and carbon pollution,
- 9:26Speaker 1: which actually has nothing to do with bridges and roads.
- 9:29Speaker 1: We feel an urgency to get it done. We know
- 9:32Speaker 1: that we can't let this moment pass us by. It's
- 9:35Speaker 1: our time to act, and as majority leader, I have
- 9:38Speaker 1: made it clear I will not pass an infrastructure package
- 9:42Speaker 1: that does not reduce carbon pollution at a scale commensurate
- 9:46Speaker 1: with the urgency of the climate crisis. We face plane
- 9:49Speaker 1: and simple, and that's what Democrats intend to do. We're
- 9:53Speaker 1: united in taking on the climate crisis. As we move
- 9:56Speaker 1: forward with a bold infrastructure plan, the Jobs and Family Plan,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and the Budget recon
- 10:03Speaker 1: Reconciliation Bill, the Senate will make our largest investments to
- 10:07Speaker 1: tackle the climate crisis and environmental justice ever ever in
- 10:12Speaker 1: our nation's history. We're going to act in a bold
- 10:15Speaker 1: and comprehensive way to reduce emissions, make our infrastructure resilient,
- 10:20Speaker 1: create the green jobs of the future. The three legs
- 10:23Speaker 1: of the stool that Joe Biden has so brilliantly put
- 10:27Speaker 1: together in his plan include climate, economic justice for communities,
- 10:33Speaker 1: particularly communities of color that have been left out, and jobs,
- 10:37Speaker 1: good paying jobs. And in so many instances, like in
- 10:43Speaker 1: the Clean Cars for America proposal, which I was proud
- 10:45Speaker 1: to author in President Biden put into his plan, we
- 10:49Speaker 1: have union support, We even have some industry support. It's spreading.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Everyone knows the crisis. It's only the people with their
- 10:57Speaker 1: head in the sand or some of our Republican colleagues
- 11:01Speaker 1: who are in the palm of the oil, gas and
- 11:04Speaker 1: coal industry who don't realize it, or who don't want
- 11:07Speaker 1: to realize it. But the rest of the world and
- 11:09Speaker 1: the rest of the country does, and so we're going
- 11:11Speaker 1: to work to establish the re established the US is
- 11:14Speaker 1: the global leader in the fight against climate crisis. Put
- 11:19Speaker 1: our nation on a path to meet our president's bold
- 11:22Speaker 1: commitment to reduce emissions by fifty percent in twenty thirty. Now,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I played that for you, and I literally had to
- 11:30Speaker 1: muzzle myself, right. I played that for you and had
- 11:35Speaker 1: to just muzzle myself to not interrupt, because I wanted
- 11:39Speaker 1: you to understand the dynamic of what you just were told.
- 11:44Speaker 1: This is not a climate bill based on what he
- 11:47Speaker 1: just said. This is a green New Deal bill. This
- 11:51Speaker 1: is a anti oil and gas bill. This is a
- 11:55Speaker 1: we must mandate certain things happen when it comes to
- 12:00Speaker 1: put green jobs. How did the infrastructure bill become green jobs?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Somebody can explain that to me. I'd love to hear it.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, really, how do we get to
- 12:11Speaker 1: this point? Can someone explain that to me? Because everything
- 12:15Speaker 1: that Schumer was just talking about, saying it will not
- 12:17Speaker 1: pass unless we have all of this in it has
- 12:21Speaker 1: nothing to do with infrastructure. It's a hardcore leftist agenda,
- 12:29Speaker 1: a green agenda, green jobs, green this, green that, green,
- 12:33Speaker 1: everything else that's not infrastructure. But hey, when you advance
- 12:38Speaker 1: a bill without a bill even being written, I guess
- 12:41Speaker 1: you can do whatever the hell you want to do
- 12:43Speaker 1: in that bill and make it a Green New Deal
- 12:45Speaker 1: bill and just name an a infrastructure bill and spend
- 12:49Speaker 1: one point to trillion dollars on it. Nothing that he
- 12:54Speaker 1: just said actually dealt with roads. I go back just
- 12:57Speaker 1: a little bit. Listen to just a couple of different points.
- 12:59Speaker 1: He made economic justice for what communities, particularly communities of
- 13:04Speaker 1: color that have been left out. So we're doing economic justice,
- 13:08Speaker 1: particularly for communities that have been left out. Let's let's
- 13:11Speaker 1: start with that. Does that have anything to do with infrastructure?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Does that have anything to do with bridges and roads?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Economic justice for communities, particularly communities of color that have
- 13:22Speaker 1: been left out. He, by the way, really really cares
- 13:25Speaker 1: about that point. You want to know why, because he
- 13:27Speaker 1: slammed his fist down on the podium. You can hear
- 13:30Speaker 1: that that weird, you know, muffled sound of banging. Climate,
- 13:35Speaker 1: economic justice for communities, particularly communities of color that have
- 13:39Speaker 1: been left out. And jobs, good paying jobs. Now the
- 13:42Speaker 1: infrastructure built with these good paying jobs, what are they
- 13:45Speaker 1: going to be in because it's not going to be
- 13:47Speaker 1: apparently in building roads. So so where's the money going?
- 13:50Speaker 1: Are we going to start another cylinder two point zero?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Are we going to do these green jobs that we
- 13:55Speaker 1: did under Obama? That then all of a sudden, the
- 13:57Speaker 1: rich people at the top of the country make all
- 13:59Speaker 1: the money if these companies, I should say, and then
- 14:03Speaker 1: after they make all of their money, then the jobs disappear,
- 14:07Speaker 1: after they have all their casts and the job just disappear,
- 14:09Speaker 1: that the companies go bankrupt and they shut it down,
- 14:12Speaker 1: just like we did with the Obama administration. Is that
- 14:15Speaker 1: how this works? If you want to get into a
- 14:18Speaker 1: really good business right now, this is probably the business
- 14:20Speaker 1: you need to get in, right Just start some green
- 14:23Speaker 1: job bs, all right, just start it, go for it.
- 14:28Speaker 1: There's no downside to it. There's no way you can
- 14:30Speaker 1: lose on it. They've got one point two trillion dollars.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Grab all the money and get your hands on Grab
- 14:39Speaker 1: it now, because that's that's what this administration is doing.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And it's not just I expect this from this administration.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I did not expect this to come from all these
- 14:48Speaker 1: scumbag Republicans who joined them. I will go back through
- 14:52Speaker 1: this list. These are the Senate Republicans who voted for
- 14:56Speaker 1: the democrats one point two trillion dollar bill that hasn't
- 15:00Speaker 1: even been written. Roy Blunt Missouri, Richard BYRD North Carolina
- 15:05Speaker 1: Shelby Shelley Moore West Virginia, Bill Cassidy Louisiana, Mike Krappo Idaho,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Lindsay Graham South Carolina, mitts McConnell, Kentucky, Alasta Murkowski Arkansas
- 15:17Speaker 1: Rob Portman, Ohio, Jim Reisch Idaho, Mitt Romney, Utah, Tom
- 15:23Speaker 1: Tillots North Carolina, Todd Young Indiana, Chuck Grassley Idaho, John
- 15:29Speaker 1: Hoven North Dakota, Kevin Kramer, North Dakota, Susan Collins Maine.
- 15:34Speaker 1: All of them voted for a bill that you don't
- 15:36Speaker 1: even know what's in it. Nine Senate Republicans, by the way,
- 15:39Speaker 1: have continued to negotiate with the Democrats and President Joe
- 15:42Speaker 1: Biden's administration on this bill that would grant Biden his
- 15:46Speaker 1: most significant legislative victory since he passed the one point
- 15:50Speaker 1: nine tree in dollar coronavirus package, which didn't go to coronavirus.
- 15:54Speaker 1: The legislation also likely to lead to the passage of
- 15:57Speaker 1: the democrats three point six trillion dollar reconciliation package, which
- 16:03Speaker 1: includes climate change carve outs, boosted welfare benefits to help
- 16:08Speaker 1: them win the midterms, and tax cuts mostly for Democrats
- 16:13Speaker 1: and Democratic states. Senator Rick Scott, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson,
- 16:18Speaker 1: Ted Cruz, Joss Holley, Marsha Blackburn, and Mike Bram said
- 16:22Speaker 1: they could not vote to advance the bill, believing they
- 16:24Speaker 1: could not add more detonations thirty trillion dollar deficit. Who
- 16:31Speaker 1: cares though, right, So let me tell you a little
- 16:33Speaker 1: bit about what we know they're trying to get in
- 16:35Speaker 1: the bill. I just got a list from a Senate
- 16:39Speaker 1: staffer in DC that said, hey, we are starting to
- 16:44Speaker 1: see some of the items that the Republicans voted for
- 16:49Speaker 1: that we are going to be slammed in this bill.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you that list, all right, so you
- 16:54Speaker 1: understand again, we voted to advance a bill that hasn't
- 16:56Speaker 1: been written yet. Democrats and Republicans have done this. They
- 17:04Speaker 1: claim that everybody must be for it because it would
- 17:06Speaker 1: quote revitalize America's roads and bridges. That's Biden's exact words. Well,
- 17:10Speaker 1: it also contains a crapload of stuff apparently that we
- 17:14Speaker 1: had no clue was going to be in this bill
- 17:16Speaker 1: because we haven't read the bill yet, because I hadn't
- 17:18Speaker 1: been put together yet. But these are the things in
- 17:20Speaker 1: private that are going to make its way into the bill.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm being told by the Senate staff for number one,
- 17:26Speaker 1: seventy three billion dollars of your tax dollars, they now
- 17:29Speaker 1: say we'll go for clean energy transmission. The Biden administration
- 17:34Speaker 1: is saying this is a must. The single latest investment,
- 17:39Speaker 1: they say in American history to save the world. So
- 17:42Speaker 1: we're gonna spend seventy three billion for clean energy transmission,
- 17:46Speaker 1: whatever the hell that means. That's infrastructure. Now, twenty one
- 17:52Speaker 1: billion it will be in this bill. I'm being told
- 17:54Speaker 1: to invest in environmental remediation. That's just going to go
- 17:59Speaker 1: to bunch of liberals who know congressmen and centers. They
- 18:03Speaker 1: say that this is going to be added to the
- 18:05Speaker 1: bill to address racial alleged disparities in environmental pollution. So
- 18:12Speaker 1: it's a racial issue. Now, this environmental remediation, got it,
- 18:16Speaker 1: twenty one billion tax dollars poof gone. Fifty billion I'm
- 18:21Speaker 1: being told is going to be in Western water infrastructure revitalization.
- 18:28Speaker 1: The Biden administration said that people again another race thing
- 18:32Speaker 1: in this bill. People of color are more likely to
- 18:35Speaker 1: live in areas most vulnerable to flooding and other climate
- 18:39Speaker 1: change related weather events. So again we just blew fifty
- 18:43Speaker 1: billion in Western water infrastructure revitalization. We don't even know
- 18:47Speaker 1: what that is, but it's fifty billion of your tax
- 18:49Speaker 1: dollars gone. Two point five billion we're being told will
- 18:54Speaker 1: be in this bill to develop zero admission buses two
- 18:58Speaker 1: point five billion more for quote, low admission buses and
- 19:04Speaker 1: two point five billion for low admission ferries. So two
- 19:11Speaker 1: point five, two point five and two point five. Man,
- 19:13Speaker 1: we're getting somewhere were I mean, that's pretty good money.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Seven a half billion for that. Who cares. We're also
- 19:18Speaker 1: going to spend another in this bill. We're being told
- 19:21Speaker 1: seven and a half billion to help develop plug in
- 19:26Speaker 1: electric vehicles. So Tesla is not doing a good enough
- 19:29Speaker 1: job with that, Nissan is not doing enough good enough
- 19:32Speaker 1: job with that. We need to now take seven point
- 19:34Speaker 1: five billion to help develop plug in electric vehicles have
- 19:37Speaker 1: already been developed by Tesla and others in the private sector. Again,
- 19:41Speaker 1: this is not going to change what Tesla's doing or
- 19:44Speaker 1: Nisan or anybody else with electric vehicles. You have an
- 19:47Speaker 1: electric F one fifty pickup coming up. I don't think
- 19:49Speaker 1: the federal government needs to be helping and wasting seven
- 19:52Speaker 1: point five billion to develop plug in vehicles when we
- 19:55Speaker 1: were about to get a pickup truck from Ford that
- 19:58Speaker 1: is an electric pickup. I think we're there, folks, I
- 20:01Speaker 1: really do think we're there. If you don't believe me,
- 20:03Speaker 1: talk to elon Mosk and look at the stock value
- 20:06Speaker 1: of Tesla. Here's my other favorite one. Now, we've been
- 20:10Speaker 1: talking about billions seventy three billion for clean energy transmission,
- 20:15Speaker 1: twenty one billion for environmental remediation for minority communities, fifty
- 20:19Speaker 1: billion for Western water and infrastructure to help people of color,
- 20:24Speaker 1: two point five billion for zero mission busses and ferries,
- 20:27Speaker 1: and then seven a half billion to develop plug in
- 20:30Speaker 1: vehicles that we already have developed that are on the
- 20:32Speaker 1: roads right now. But this is the one that should
- 20:35Speaker 1: really chap all of us. We apparently, in this bill
- 20:39Speaker 1: are going to give sixty six billion dollars to Amtrack
- 20:45Speaker 1: for their maintenance backlog. Amtrack has a history of being unprofitable,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and we're going to give another sixty six billion in
- 20:55Speaker 1: subsidies to continue to be unprofitable. There, Biden's Whitehouse is
- 21:02Speaker 1: claiming that this bill will help tackle the quote climate
- 21:05Speaker 1: crisis and the growing economy substantially for decades to come.
- 21:10Speaker 1: That's a lie. The nine Senate Republicans that serve on
- 21:14Speaker 1: the Bipartisan Infrastructure Working Group spending endless days and nights
- 21:18Speaker 1: they claim working with Democrats and Biden to pass a
- 21:21Speaker 1: bill that they haven't even written yet. Include Richard Burr
- 21:25Speaker 1: Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham, Lee, Some Murkowski, Rob Portman,
- 21:30Speaker 1: Mint Romney, Mike Rowns, and Tom Tillis. Senator Scott, Republicans
- 21:36Speaker 1: South Carolina, said he had to vote no on advancing
- 21:38Speaker 1: the bill because lawmakers have yep to draft the legislative texts.
- 21:41Speaker 1: How do I vote on something I can't even read?
- 21:44Speaker 1: Johnson told Brightbart News an exclusive interview last night that
- 21:48Speaker 1: the Senate Republicans that cooperated with Democrats and the infrastructure
- 21:51Speaker 1: bill would be complicit and enabling the democrats extreme leftist agenda.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Tim Scott put out a new tweet saying I voted
- 21:59Speaker 1: no on emphasis structure a week ago because there is
- 22:02Speaker 1: no legislative text. My mind hasn't changed. There's still no
- 22:07Speaker 1: legislative text or exclamation on how to pay for the
- 22:11Speaker 1: one point to trillion dollar infrastructure plan. The president of
- 22:16Speaker 1: the Committee for Responsible Federal Budget set in a statement
- 22:19Speaker 1: today that they are extremely and deeply concerned that this
- 22:22Speaker 1: legislation is not only not fully paid for, but contains
- 22:27Speaker 1: many budget gimmicks to make it appear less expensive. It
- 22:31Speaker 1: also relies on several phony offsets that will save money
- 22:35Speaker 1: or no money, that includes quote taking credit for savings
- 22:39Speaker 1: that have already occurred, and reviving budget gimmicks like pension smoothing.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Former President Trump trash Republicans for dealing with a so
- 22:49Speaker 1: called Biparson bill by saying, quote, hard to believe. Our
- 22:53Speaker 1: Senate Republicans are dealing with the dealing the radical left
- 22:56Speaker 1: Democrats and making a so called bipartisan bill on infrastructure
- 23:01Speaker 1: with our negotiators headed up by the super rhino Mitt Romney.
- 23:06Speaker 1: This will be a victory for the Biden administration and
- 23:08Speaker 1: Democrats and will be heavily used in the twenty twenty
- 23:10Speaker 1: election twenty twenty two election. It is a loser for
- 23:14Speaker 1: the USA, a terrible deal, and makes the Republicans look weak, foolish,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and dumb. It shouldn't be done. It sets an easy
- 23:23Speaker 1: glide path for Dems to then go beyond what anyone
- 23:27Speaker 1: thought was possible in future legislation. It will be a
- 23:31Speaker 1: continued destruction of our country. Our borders are horrible, crime
- 23:35Speaker 1: is an all time high, taxes, inflation are going way up,
- 23:38Speaker 1: the economy is going way down. And now this former
- 23:42Speaker 1: President Trump added, don't do it. Republicans patriots will never
- 23:48Speaker 1: forget if this deal happens, lots of primaries will be
- 23:52Speaker 1: coming your way now. Notice he called out super Rhino,
- 23:55Speaker 1: Mitt Romney. I will say it again, this is Romney's
- 23:59Speaker 1: exit strategy. What Mitt Romney is doing is Mitt Romney
- 24:03Speaker 1: is saying, Okay, Democrats, I'll be a Republican that you
- 24:07Speaker 1: can work with to do whatever the hell you want
- 24:09Speaker 1: to do as long as you give me my next big,
- 24:12Speaker 1: important job. He wants to be an ambassador, a major ambassador.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And if you don't think that Joe Biden would give
- 24:18Speaker 1: him that job, you're crazy. Keep him in the Senate
- 24:22Speaker 1: until he's gonna lose his job, and then make him
- 24:25Speaker 1: an ambassador. Make him an ambassador. That's all you gotta do.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Just make him an ambassador. That's it. Make him an ambassador.
- 24:37Speaker 1: It only cost you one point two trillion dollars to
- 24:40Speaker 1: get Mitt Romney to be an ambassador. Not a bad
- 24:42Speaker 1: gig if you can get it right. I will say
- 24:45Speaker 1: this again, make sure that you call your congressman and
- 24:50Speaker 1: your Senator and you tell them to vote hell no
- 24:54Speaker 1: on this. Do not move this legislation forward, Do not
- 25:00Speaker 1: at them off the hook. Make it abundantly clear that
- 25:03Speaker 1: this is unacceptable in the way that they're using your money. Period. Also,
- 25:10Speaker 1: make sure that you share this podcast with your family
- 25:13Speaker 1: and friends so they know what is in the bill
- 25:16Speaker 1: that hasn't even been written yet. I can't even believe
- 25:17Speaker 1: I'm saying that statement, but it's actually accurate. We know
- 25:20Speaker 1: what some of the things are going to be in it,
- 25:22Speaker 1: but it hadn't been written yet. Please make sure you
- 25:24Speaker 1: share this podcast with your family and friends, and I
- 25:27Speaker 1: will see you back here tomorrow.
