- 1:25Speaker 5: Turn to turn the mouth the turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 5: to turn mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Turn out, turn a w the WAPO wouldn't.
- 1:55Speaker 7: Come come out, you think, huh, I sure will. A
- 2:04Speaker 7: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 7: on dig me now, one and all that Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 7: got a radio show. Okay, today is simple. I want
- 2:16Speaker 7: to tell you. I want to just talk to you
- 2:19Speaker 7: about effort today. Just about effort. You know, it's it's
- 2:26Speaker 7: it's it's a word that people use to describe sometimes trying.
- 2:33Speaker 7: But what I've found out about trying is trying is
- 2:35Speaker 7: just a noble way of saying you didn't get it done.
- 2:41Speaker 7: I tried when and then everybody go, well, he tried,
- 2:45Speaker 7: he that was the best. Well that's that's not.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Exactly true though, that that's that's not exactly true.
- 2:53Speaker 7: You are and I want to talk to you about
- 2:55Speaker 7: that because I don't want you to be one of
- 2:58Speaker 7: the people who just tried see trying.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta tell you to attempt something.
- 3:06Speaker 7: You're gonna have to first try, but I want you
- 3:09Speaker 7: to change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:16Speaker 7: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:19Speaker 7: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 7: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 7: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 7: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. It's the person
- 3:32Speaker 7: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:36Speaker 7: It's very different than I'm gonna try.
- 3:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Look, man, I know this sounds a little.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Harsh, but you gotta stop feeding yourself these little old
- 3:46Speaker 7: wise sayings that ain't it was a valiant triy. Hey man,
- 3:51Speaker 7: you talk to anybody that took second place in the
- 3:55Speaker 7: super Bowl and see how they feel about their valiant try.
- 3:58Speaker 1: The only way.
- 4:01Speaker 7: To gain God's real blessings is you have to try something.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Stevee backpeddling, now, listen to me close. You have to
- 4:14Speaker 7: put forth an effort to allow God to put his
- 4:21Speaker 7: finger on something to bless on your behalf. You must
- 4:26Speaker 7: start to attempt now in saying getting it done and
- 4:31Speaker 7: I'm gonna try. That's a different of two different faiths
- 4:34Speaker 7: to me that I'm just talking about me. Now, you
- 4:38Speaker 7: may be different, so I can't say this about you,
- 4:41Speaker 7: but I can say this about me. If I say
- 4:45Speaker 7: I'm gonna get it done, I have a lot of
- 4:49Speaker 7: faith in it. I am going to get it done
- 4:53Speaker 7: because I just don't see failure as an option. A
- 4:56Speaker 7: lot of times now, if somebody says to me, like
- 5:01Speaker 7: the Olympic team invited me out to curl one day,
- 5:04Speaker 7: which is throw these stones on the ice, if you're
- 5:07Speaker 7: not familiar with this very.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Simple thing, and so I said, man, I'd like to
- 5:13Speaker 1: give that a try.
- 5:15Speaker 7: I went in full well knowing I may not come
- 5:20Speaker 7: away from this little curling lesson as a person who
- 5:25Speaker 7: could make the Olympic team. I just wanted to try
- 5:27Speaker 7: it because I thought it looked cool, and I always
- 5:30Speaker 7: wanted to get it done.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Well.
- 5:31Speaker 7: I failed twice. I threw a stone completely into the
- 5:35Speaker 7: other lane. I lost that little ice shoe it shot
- 5:39Speaker 7: out under me. But you know what, I kept trying though.
- 5:44Speaker 7: I kept trying until I got four of them stones
- 5:48Speaker 7: in that circle right where I aim. But now had
- 5:51Speaker 7: I given up after I failed, after I threw that
- 5:56Speaker 7: stone in the other lane, after I shot my shoe
- 5:59Speaker 7: down all the way to the bottom side.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The little ice shoe they give you. I never did it,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but because I was trying.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Something got me together a little bit because of my effort,
- 6:11Speaker 7: and it caused me not to fall the next time,
- 6:13Speaker 7: not to throw it in the other lane, not to
- 6:15Speaker 7: shoot my shoe to the back of the wall. All
- 6:19Speaker 7: of a sudden, my trying became something. Now had I
- 6:23Speaker 7: stayed out there and it wasn't so cold, and I went.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Back week after week after week after week. I promise you.
- 6:31Speaker 7: I could get it done. I could at least know
- 6:35Speaker 7: how to compete in a game of curling. Might not
- 6:38Speaker 7: be the best. I might not win the championship, but
- 6:42Speaker 7: I could have got it done to the point where
- 6:44Speaker 7: I could have competed in a game of curling. So
- 6:46Speaker 7: sometimes if you're scared to say I'm gonna get it done,
- 6:50Speaker 7: just go out there and get started. You know, learn
- 6:54Speaker 7: from every attempt that you make. See, don't quit writing
- 6:58Speaker 7: yourself off as a failure every time something don't go right.
- 7:01Speaker 7: And when I fail on that ice, I could have said, man,
- 7:04Speaker 7: I can't curl. But hold up, man, I'm watching four
- 7:06Speaker 7: other women out here curl, four of the dudes out
- 7:08Speaker 7: here curl, the little kids out here curling. Hold up, Pardner,
- 7:12Speaker 7: You know, man, So I learned when I threw that
- 7:15Speaker 7: stone on the other ice, when I failed, when when
- 7:18Speaker 7: my shoe shot off, I learned from every attempt a.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Little bit more about it.
- 7:24Speaker 7: And then I said to myself one point in time, man,
- 7:28Speaker 7: I'm gonna get this stone in that circle. I'm gonna
- 7:31Speaker 7: get this stone in this circle. And guess what I
- 7:35Speaker 7: got it done. Now what you're saying to me, Steve,
- 7:39Speaker 7: I'm saying to you that you gotta get started. That
- 7:42Speaker 7: you got to put forth an effort. Give God something
- 7:45Speaker 7: to bless. Oh God, bless me, Oh God, bless me.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Bless you?
- 7:49Speaker 3: What?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Bless you? Where? Bless you?
- 7:51Speaker 8: How?
- 7:53Speaker 7: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 7: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 7:59Speaker 7: allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. I was
- 8:04Speaker 7: sitting up in my debt. I came up with a
- 8:06Speaker 7: plan to get out of debt in five years. I
- 8:08Speaker 7: came up with this plan, right, and I was sitting
- 8:10Speaker 7: up and I was tripping on it. Now I said,
- 8:13Speaker 7: wait a minute, man, hold up, this is what I
- 8:16Speaker 7: came up with.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I said, God.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Created heaven in earth, all of it, the mountains, the sky,
- 8:24Speaker 7: the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the Indian Ocean,
- 8:30Speaker 7: all of it, made all of it in six days,
- 8:35Speaker 7: and then he rested on the seven. So why am
- 8:39Speaker 7: I taking to God the five year plan? If he
- 8:43Speaker 7: can create heaven and earth in six days, why am
- 8:48Speaker 7: I walking in there talking about help me in five years?
- 8:51Speaker 7: How is it gonna take God five years to getting
- 8:56Speaker 7: me out of debt?
- 8:57Speaker 1: And he made heaven and earth in six days? Do
- 9:00Speaker 1: the math? Hell, man, I ain't that big. You ain't
- 9:04Speaker 1: that big. You ain't in that much trouble. I ain't
- 9:07Speaker 1: in that much trouble.
- 9:08Speaker 7: See, God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 7: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 7: some effort on your part. Man, Get out and do something. Man,
- 9:18Speaker 7: you God will bless you a little bit and give
- 9:20Speaker 7: you a little bit more courage. And then all them
- 9:22Speaker 7: attempts you making is gonna and all this so I'll try.
- 9:25Speaker 7: You know what that turned into.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it done.
- 9:28Speaker 7: And at the end of the day, that's what you
- 9:30Speaker 7: have to do, because trying to pay your rent and
- 9:33Speaker 7: not paying your rent is two different things. You can
- 9:37Speaker 7: you can try to play your pay your rent, or
- 9:39Speaker 7: you can get it done. Now, how long you think
- 9:40Speaker 7: you gonna stay in that house trying. You got to
- 9:43Speaker 7: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 9:45Speaker 7: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 9:48Speaker 7: a chance to put his finger on and bless it
- 9:50Speaker 7: for you the most stuff he can do for you.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Quit looking around what everybody else got and gonna get
- 9:54Speaker 7: some of it for yourself.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Okay, all right, you're listening hard morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. The time has come. It's a new day,
- 10:08Speaker 7: it's a new opportunity, it's a new chance. It's a
- 10:11Speaker 7: brand new blessing. There is no such thing as waking
- 10:14Speaker 7: up on the wrong side of the bed. If God
- 10:17Speaker 7: wakes you up, everything has the potential to be all right.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Depends on how you look at it.
- 10:23Speaker 7: Life is ten percent of what happens to you, ninety
- 10:26Speaker 7: percent of what you do about it. I am planning
- 10:29Speaker 7: on doing some great things today. Now along the way,
- 10:33Speaker 7: something might happen, a difficulty, a challenge, a setback. But
- 10:39Speaker 7: you know what at least I was here, and this
- 10:42Speaker 7: too shall pass. Man, God is good. That's all I

- 14:02Speaker 1: Hello, I'm trying to reach Russell.
- 14:05Speaker 11: Yeah, this is Russell.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Hi Russell. I'm Isaiah.
- 14:07Speaker 12: I'm a realator real estate, and I'm trying to do
- 14:12Speaker 12: some schematics. I think I'm calling the right house. I'm
- 14:16Speaker 12: not quite sure. Are you West Dixie Road.
- 14:20Speaker 10: Yeah, that's me.
- 14:22Speaker 1: How many square feet is your house? If you don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: mind me asking, Uh, it's.
- 14:26Speaker 11: About thirty five hundred square feet.
- 14:28Speaker 12: Oh no, this is the right house or not? Is
- 14:30Speaker 12: this You have a deck out in the back of
- 14:32Speaker 12: all weather type of deck.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Out in the back?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:35Speaker 10: I do, Well, what do you what do you?
- 14:37Speaker 3: What do you?
- 14:37Speaker 11: What's this about?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Okay, if you don't mind me, Russell, how long have
- 14:41Speaker 1: you lived there?
- 14:42Speaker 11: My man, I've already asked you twice, and you're asking
- 14:45Speaker 11: me for like person information on my crib with a
- 14:48Speaker 11: reference to Okay.
- 14:50Speaker 12: Well, like I said, I'm a realator and I'm trying
- 14:52Speaker 12: to get ahead of some things that's going on. And
- 14:56Speaker 12: you're well, it's been brought to my attention that you're
- 14:59Speaker 12: high house is going to be is going into foreclosure
- 15:03Speaker 12: and it's going to be on the on the market
- 15:04Speaker 12: in the next two to three weeks.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So I wanted to make sure I was getting the
- 15:08Speaker 1: right house, and I wanted to make sure.
- 15:10Speaker 11: But and you've got the wrong house. My house is
- 15:14Speaker 11: not going to foreclosure. I'm up to date, I'm good.
- 15:17Speaker 11: So you got you definitely got the wrong house.
- 15:19Speaker 12: Okay, hang on, So what's Dixie Road, And like you said,
- 15:25Speaker 12: thirty five hundred square feed this is a two car garage.
- 15:28Speaker 11: Right, I don't know. I don't know what information you're getting.
- 15:31Speaker 11: But when it comes to my name in my crib
- 15:34Speaker 11: and what's going on with my builds and all.
- 15:36Speaker 10: That, I'm up to date and I'm fine.
- 15:38Speaker 11: So you got the wrong information, you got the wrong
- 15:40Speaker 11: the wrong person, the wrong information on the right house.
- 15:43Speaker 11: Whatever it is, but this is not My house is
- 15:46Speaker 11: definitely not going in the foreclosure. Almost have for my bills,
- 15:49Speaker 11: like it's my woman, you get me. So I So,
- 15:51Speaker 11: my whole thing is is I don't even know why
- 15:54Speaker 11: you're calling.
- 15:55Speaker 10: My house is definitely not for sale.
- 15:56Speaker 11: It's now now on going to foreclosure. I'm not behind
- 16:00Speaker 11: on my bills.
- 16:01Speaker 12: Well, sir, I'm telling you what my books say, and
- 16:03Speaker 12: this is our I'm looking at legitimate legal paper.
- 16:06Speaker 11: What I'm trying to tell you is this, And I
- 16:08Speaker 11: don't care about your books. Read what I'm reading, Read
- 16:12Speaker 11: what I'm writing to you. I'm up to date on
- 16:14Speaker 11: my mortgage. You're just a realtor. So my whole thing is,
- 16:17Speaker 11: you're not nobody's selling my house.
- 16:19Speaker 1: My house is now okayd No, let's let's back up.
- 16:21Speaker 12: Let's go back to just a realtor. You're not gonna
- 16:23Speaker 12: talk to me like that. Now, I'm a realtor and
- 16:26Speaker 12: I'm a person. That's that's that's on top of my game.
- 16:28Speaker 12: Your house is going in the foreclosure.
- 16:30Speaker 7: Now.
- 16:30Speaker 1: You can be in denial if you want to be.
- 16:32Speaker 1: But I'm just trying to get.
- 16:33Speaker 12: On top of everything and get you know, try to
- 16:35Speaker 12: sell the house as soon as it hits the market.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So I know what I'm not gonna be.
- 16:39Speaker 11: You don't, look, there's not going in the foreclosure due
- 16:45Speaker 11: so so so if.
- 16:46Speaker 12: I'm looking at paperwork here, why am I looking at
- 16:48Speaker 12: paperwork that has your address on it?
- 16:50Speaker 7: Sir?
- 16:51Speaker 10: That sounds like a personal problem.
- 16:52Speaker 11: Obviously you now on top of your.
- 16:54Speaker 12: P well, you know the personal problem is going to
- 16:56Speaker 12: be yours when they when they come put you out
- 16:58Speaker 12: your house.
- 16:58Speaker 1: This has foreclosure your address. Yo.
- 17:02Speaker 11: Look, I'm trying to tell you, man, don't knock on
- 17:04Speaker 11: my door, don't call my don't call.
- 17:07Speaker 10: None of that.
- 17:07Speaker 11: Nobody's coming to my house knocking on the door, trying
- 17:09Speaker 11: to put me on my house. And on top of that,
- 17:12Speaker 11: a foreclosing. It takes a long time.
- 17:15Speaker 12: Well, that's what I mean. This is this is, this is,
- 17:17Speaker 12: this has been in there a long time. It's coming
- 17:20Speaker 12: up in the next couple of weeks. That's what I'm
- 17:22Speaker 12: telling you.
- 17:23Speaker 11: What what paperwork do you have?
- 17:25Speaker 3: I am looking at what bank? What do you do?
- 17:28Speaker 11: You even know what banked? Is this selling the house
- 17:31Speaker 11: or trying to put me in foreclosure? You're not are
- 17:33Speaker 11: you with do you?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Are you with First Fidelity?
- 17:36Speaker 11: That's not your concern.
- 17:38Speaker 12: Okay, well you just asked me, sir. You just asked
- 17:40Speaker 12: me that's what's on this paperwork in the foreclosure.
- 17:43Speaker 11: You got the wrong paperwork when you're at the wrong
- 17:46Speaker 11: hand dress to tap to somebody else's.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Okay, this is your address. It is the right square footage,
- 17:52Speaker 1: It is the.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Right hand sir.
- 17:54Speaker 11: You right now, man, I'm telling you I'm not going
- 17:57Speaker 11: in foreclosure.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Okay, you know what.
- 17:59Speaker 12: You can angry with me, but really, if you have

- 20:47Speaker 8: Coming up to date, it is asked the c l
- 20:51Speaker 8: O Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. You're
- 20:56Speaker 8: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, coming up at the top
- 20:59Speaker 8: of the hour. In entertainment, news talk show host Sherry
- 21:03Speaker 8: Shepherd apologized for asking a guest on her show to
- 21:06Speaker 8: get drunk with her. Sports commentator Shannon Sharpe and his
- 21:10Speaker 8: club Shayshay podcast are leaving Fox Sports, and blogger Tasha
- 21:15Speaker 8: kay still owes CARDI b four million dollars, but she
- 21:20Speaker 8: filed for bankruptcy instead. That's all coming up at the
- 21:23Speaker 8: top of the hour. But right now it is time
- 21:26Speaker 8: to ask the CLO. We're going to Fay and Roanoke,
- 21:31Speaker 8: who writes, my husband's best friend is married to a
- 21:34Speaker 8: much younger woman, and she's cheating on him and confided
- 21:38Speaker 8: in me. I was sworn to secrecy by her, but
- 21:41Speaker 8: I've known her husband a whole lot longer than her.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Where should my loyalty lie? Do I expose her?
- 21:48Speaker 1: You swore you.
- 21:50Speaker 7: Yeah, you swore to the girl. You swore to the girl,
- 21:55Speaker 7: that's what you did. See, I don't understand the way
- 21:59Speaker 7: people op RDI functions.
- 22:01Speaker 3: You know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Now if if look, if.
- 22:04Speaker 7: Somebody come to me and say, hey man, I'm gonna
- 22:07Speaker 7: tell you something, but you can't tell nobody. The first
- 22:09Speaker 7: thing I'm gonna tell the person is, hey, man, listen
- 22:11Speaker 7: to me if the information you're about to give me
- 22:14Speaker 7: is hurting somebody ideally loved, and don't tell it to
- 22:17Speaker 7: me because because I ain't finna be loyalty. If I
- 22:20Speaker 7: deally love somebody, you can't come into me and talking
- 22:23Speaker 7: about man I stole they money, or hey man, I'm
- 22:25Speaker 7: the one that got them fired or what now.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You can't come to me with that.
- 22:30Speaker 7: So see, I always remember, man, always remember when a
- 22:35Speaker 7: person is coming to bring you bad news, there's some
- 22:39Speaker 7: more behind that bad news, because you know, you know
- 22:43Speaker 7: what I'm saying. You know they're just trying to get
- 22:44Speaker 7: their conscious Pip, so I would not tell it because
- 22:48Speaker 7: you swore that to her, But now you're trying to
- 22:51Speaker 7: weigh out the skals of justice.
- 22:53Speaker 1: See, that's why God say vengeance is mine, says the Lord.
- 22:56Speaker 7: That's why God say that, because now here you are
- 22:58Speaker 7: trying to figure out the right thing to do and
- 23:00Speaker 7: you don't even know. That's why you ain't got no
- 23:03Speaker 7: business dealing. I'll punishment being just and all that. That's
- 23:07Speaker 7: exactly why he said, don't don't he get real clear
- 23:10Speaker 7: to you after a while. Now hit his lady right here.
- 23:14Speaker 7: She in a real quandary. Now, I've been knowing him
- 23:18Speaker 7: much long, and she cheap know him. Now you're gonna
- 23:21Speaker 7: come and tell this man now?
- 23:24Speaker 1: And what is that gonna do?
- 23:26Speaker 7: You think that make that man feel better? You think
- 23:28Speaker 7: you'd be a man. Please, lady, stay out of it.
- 23:35Speaker 7: She provide it in you. Then you should just say, hey, look,
- 23:37Speaker 7: you need to stop, go home, work on your marriage.
- 23:41Speaker 1: That's fust People make mistakes. You could do that all right.
- 23:46Speaker 8: Moving on to Melissa and Tyler. Melissa says, I'm thirty
- 23:50Speaker 8: three years old and married. My husband told me that
- 23:53Speaker 8: I must have sex with him at least four times
- 23:56Speaker 8: a week, and I don't like scheduling sex with my husband.
- 24:00Speaker 8: We've been married four years and this is his new rule.
- 24:03Speaker 8: Will he cheat if I don't give it up?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah? O is a lot. It's a good number, but
- 24:09Speaker 1: that's a lot going on. Seven days.
- 24:14Speaker 6: She got three days off, dude.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Hell she tied. Yeah you know you're thirty three though.

- 24:36Speaker 6: a week.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I wasn't found somewhere to sit with myself.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Let alone another person.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Hard did invite a woman over to your car?
- 24:50Speaker 12: Ah?
- 24:51Speaker 1: That hard to do that? Come on over to my
- 24:55Speaker 1: place where Yeah, he's right there. Yeah, there was some
- 25:02Speaker 1: rough years.
- 25:03Speaker 7: I can't now thirty three, don't. Yeah, I can understand that.
- 25:07Speaker 7: But you can't make a rule. You can't make a rule.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You can't just do that. That ain't how it worked.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Man.
- 25:14Speaker 1: You don't own her after her body.
- 25:17Speaker 6: And it should be organic and spontaneous and yeah, you.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Know what I mean.
- 25:22Speaker 7: It might just steel like two times a week, you know,
- 25:26Speaker 7: it might be a little activity on third but you
- 25:28Speaker 7: you full time mandatory. Well you know, and I'm gonna
- 25:32Speaker 7: tell you right now, just whole lot of days they
- 25:35Speaker 7: just don't feel like it for whatever the damn me.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It could be.
- 25:41Speaker 7: He ain't meeting ran too long, it could be little.
- 25:44Speaker 7: She was helping with the homework, and that it got
- 25:46Speaker 7: on her nerves. This heper wore the same colored blouse
- 25:50Speaker 7: to work. She wore all that, I don't care about
- 25:53Speaker 7: what's going on at the schoolhouse.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Get in here. This time is Wednesday. Get in here,
- 25:59Speaker 1: Get in here. Yeah, you get the papers right now?
- 26:05Speaker 7: Yeah, Hey, when you crag back in your chair right there,
- 26:10Speaker 7: can you take your mic back there?
- 26:13Speaker 1: That'd be nice right there? Why do you say that, Steve?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Why are you because he is too close on this
- 26:19Speaker 1: damn zoom?
- 26:20Speaker 3: We are I like it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Look at his hold. All you can see is his faith.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He ain't got no shoulders.
- 26:28Speaker 6: He's not strong.
- 26:29Speaker 1: He no, he the only one that ain't got no background.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Okay there, cool with that. Okay, you ain't got to
- 26:42Speaker 1: be you know, I'm good with it. Let's go all right.
- 26:47Speaker 8: So yeah, no scheduling for Melissa and Tyler with her
- 26:52Speaker 8: husband moving on to Donnie, get back.
- 26:55Speaker 1: On this zoom.
- 26:56Speaker 8: Son don in Germantown writes, my husband has a habit
- 27:03Speaker 8: of going out with his female coworkers for lunch or
- 27:05Speaker 8: for cocktails after work, and he's always treating he's running
- 27:10Speaker 8: up our credit card monthly trying to impress these women.
- 27:13Speaker 6: And how do I get him to stop being a sucker? O?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Ways say that again? Shall I miss you? All right?
- 27:20Speaker 8: So this is from Don in Germantown. Her husband has
- 27:23Speaker 8: a habit. He likes to go out with his female coworkers.
- 27:25Speaker 8: He likes to take him out to lunch cocktails after work,
- 27:29Speaker 8: and he's always treating the ladies. So the wife says,
- 27:33Speaker 8: he's running up the credit card monthly trying to impress
- 27:36Speaker 8: these women, and she wants to know how does she
- 27:38Speaker 8: get him to stop being a sucker.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Well, you stop him. You stopped him.
- 27:45Speaker 7: That's buy their help is another drink? Put another snack
- 27:49Speaker 7: on this credit card for one of them helpless, and
- 27:53Speaker 7: see what happened at this house. You can do that
- 27:56Speaker 7: because the fund you haven't out there at happy hour
- 27:59Speaker 7: is not gon outweigh the misery you're gonna have at
- 28:02Speaker 7: your house. The one thing a woman know how to do, man,
- 28:05Speaker 7: is bring that pressure. You run it up the credit card,
- 28:08Speaker 7: taking all your female coworkers out.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Come on, dog, That don't even make no damn sense.
- 28:13Speaker 8: Question, what if it wasn't a joint credit card it's
- 28:17Speaker 8: just his money.
- 28:18Speaker 6: You know how you say, Mary Come, should have your
- 28:20Speaker 6: own money to do with what you want.
- 28:22Speaker 7: Well, that ain't what they got through Shirley Comes. He said,
- 28:25Speaker 7: he running the credit card?
- 28:27Speaker 1: He did, she did.
- 28:28Speaker 7: Now, if they had their own account, they could do
- 28:30Speaker 7: what they want to. But once you once you're in
- 28:33Speaker 7: that joint, man, it's joint. Yeah, dog, you can't do
- 28:36Speaker 7: what you want to do like that. You can't take
- 28:38Speaker 7: these women out and you're telling your wife that's what
- 28:41Speaker 7: you're doing.
- 28:42Speaker 1: What are you saying to her? That's what I want.
- 28:45Speaker 1: All the women go out, we go to Happy and
- 28:47Speaker 1: our body drinks. I'm the man, you know what I mean?
- 28:50Speaker 1: When your man asked me to quit going out? Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I promise you. I can't.
- 28:54Speaker 7: I can't have that conversation with my wife and I
- 28:58Speaker 7: have extra. Yeah, it's yes, Junior.
- 29:03Speaker 9: Clearly he ain't bought this couch.
- 29:04Speaker 10: I know that.
- 29:07Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Celo.
- 29:10Speaker 8: Coming up next, we got some entertainment. We're entertainment news
- 29:14Speaker 8: for you.
- 29:15Speaker 6: Right after this. You're listening hard morning show.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Well, we all love Sherry Shepherd, love her talk show
- 29:24Speaker 8: and on the talk show. She made a big mistake
- 29:27Speaker 8: on National TV last week when she had journalists Elizabeth
- 29:31Speaker 8: Vargas on her show, and she kept mentioning about getting
- 29:34Speaker 8: drunk with Elizabeth Vargas, who has been sober since twenty fourteen.
- 29:39Speaker 8: During the interview, Sherry said, I'm going to take you
- 29:42Speaker 8: to the bar. We're going to drink. We're going to
- 29:44Speaker 8: have a drink. Bargus responded, quote, I'll have my classic
- 29:48Speaker 8: Club soda with Cranberry juice, but you can pound some shots.
- 29:51Speaker 8: Sherry then told her that she was no fun. Elsewhere
- 29:54Speaker 8: in the interview, Sherry said again that she and Elizabeth
- 29:58Speaker 8: Vargas should go to the bar and get drunk and
- 30:00Speaker 8: have a good time. Bargus responded, you get drunk, I'll
- 30:03Speaker 8: be your designated driver. Bargus previously talked openly about her
- 30:08Speaker 8: drinking to ease anxiety, and she stated Sherry went to rehab.
- 30:13Speaker 8: She stated that she went to rehab three times between
- 30:16Speaker 8: twenty thirteen and twenty fourteen. When Cherry realized what she
- 30:19Speaker 8: had done, she called Bargus to apologize and then issued
- 30:23Speaker 8: this statement. Sherry said, sometimes when you're doing live TV,
- 30:26Speaker 8: you make mistakes. Today that happened during my Elizabeth Vargas interview,
- 30:31Speaker 8: and I'm sorry for that. She was very gracious about
- 30:34Speaker 8: it in the moment and on the phone when I
- 30:36Speaker 8: called her to apologize. So yeah, yeah, I saw this
- 30:40Speaker 8: interview and it was I was nervous for Sherry. I said,
- 30:43Speaker 8: Sherry must not know about Elizabeth Vargas drinking. You know,
- 30:47Speaker 8: she must not know about it, or she wouldn't have
- 30:49Speaker 8: said that.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Yeah, she probably did.
- 30:51Speaker 7: And it happens. You know, man, you make mistakes. If
- 30:54Speaker 7: Cherry apologized, it don't make a horrible person, right o.
- 30:57Speaker 7: R Ser Sherry trying to be entertained and in funny,
- 31:00Speaker 7: let's go out and get drunk. Let's exactly you know now,
- 31:04Speaker 7: but not not knowing the whole scope of things could
- 31:06Speaker 7: be pretty uh yeah crazy.
- 31:09Speaker 8: Yeah, Yeah, she didn't know, and I'm glad she apologized immediately,
- 31:13Speaker 8: and she said Elizabeth Vargas was gracious about it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's Elizabeth Vargas. Yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 6: It was beautiful.
- 31:23Speaker 8: I mean, I mean, it was a It was a
- 31:24Speaker 8: beautiful moment that she was able to apologize and move
- 31:27Speaker 8: on from that. And In other news, sports analysts Shannon
- 31:32Speaker 8: Sharp plans to leave Fox Sports Undisputed show after the
- 31:35Speaker 8: NBA Finals this month. It has been reported that Sharp
- 31:39Speaker 8: and Fox Sports have reached a buyout agreement. Shannon's Club
- 31:43Speaker 8: Shayha podcast is also leaving the Fox Sports network. No
- 31:47Speaker 8: reason has been given for the buyout. We know the reason,
- 31:50Speaker 8: but what what's the reason?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Skip Bayless? We know exactly what the reason is. That's
- 31:55Speaker 1: not the one I got. But that's true.
- 31:58Speaker 6: What well?
- 31:59Speaker 1: What you got your what's the team?
- 32:01Speaker 9: The reason why he leave it because he come up
- 32:03Speaker 9: here Friday soon as damn cash. That's why all I
- 32:08Speaker 9: knew both the big day I have a ball. That's
- 32:11Speaker 9: why he come over here. That's why he leaving Fox
- 32:14Speaker 9: Sports because he brings his ass on something.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Junior, I'm just gonna stop you right now before this
- 32:19Speaker 1: go too far.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Your man, your marriage is not gonna last if you
- 32:25Speaker 7: have this to complaint every damn week. I'm just telling
- 32:29Speaker 7: you right now, you're gonna have to suck some of
- 32:32Speaker 7: this up and deal with it because it is not
- 32:35Speaker 7: going to change. Oh, because your ass is gonna be
- 32:39Speaker 7: buying stuff from now own. You had no idea what
- 32:42Speaker 7: it costs, and you're gonna get some stuff paid for.
- 32:45Speaker 1: That you don't even want. I'll tell you you get
- 32:48Speaker 1: mad me all you want?
- 32:49Speaker 9: My man here No, Shanna be here Friday, sitting the
- 32:52Speaker 9: damn cash.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Somebody will sitting down. I don't care what it is.
- 32:55Speaker 1: He Garry Shepherd.
- 32:57Speaker 9: Yeah, Sharon coming and you ain't got the call Joy
- 33:00Speaker 9: share it Hill. We're taking shots together own this new
- 33:03Speaker 9: damn cat.
- 33:05Speaker 6: Well, many haven't speculated. You guys are that Shannon?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Hold on?
- 33:11Speaker 7: You let your wife walk in and see you and
- 33:13Speaker 7: Sherry doing shots. You'll see what happened. You're gonna get
- 33:16Speaker 7: shot on the couch.
- 33:18Speaker 6: Shot taking a shot.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Then you know what that means.
- 33:22Speaker 1: First forty eight coming in and filming on this damn cout.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Somebody go see I love it.
- 33:29Speaker 8: But many haven't speculated that Shannon is leaving because of
- 33:33Speaker 8: the growing friction between him and his co host Skip Bayless.
- 33:37Speaker 6: When Steven A.
- 33:38Speaker 8: Smith heard about Shannon leaving Fox Sports, he expressed his
- 33:41Speaker 8: interest in having Sharp joining him on ESPN's First Take
- 33:45Speaker 8: and create one of sports media's most powerful duos.
- 33:48Speaker 6: What do you guys think about that?
- 33:50Speaker 3: Uh?
- 33:51Speaker 6: Sure, Shannon leavings Fox and then joining Stephen A. Smith.
- 33:55Speaker 6: What do you think?
- 33:56Speaker 1: Well, Stephen A.
- 33:57Speaker 7: Smith has a lot of pool over there, and see
- 34:01Speaker 7: one of the things was see Stephen A. Didn't hit
- 34:05Speaker 7: it off with Max Kellerman, Max, who I thought was great,
- 34:10Speaker 7: but they didn't have the debate debate that stephen A
- 34:15Speaker 7: wanted the show to be. Because it's a debate show,
- 34:19Speaker 7: it's an argument, it's a confrontational show.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Is dudes talking trash.
- 34:24Speaker 7: It's the barber shop put on television in a sports form.
- 34:30Speaker 7: We've controlled elements like Molly Quinn Well Kellerman. Max Kellerman,
- 34:35Speaker 7: who I loved on this show, would oftentimes agree with Skip,
- 34:40Speaker 7: I mean agree with steven A, and he wanted him
- 34:43Speaker 7: to be more confrontational and you know, and that's what
- 34:48Speaker 7: steven A didn't like about this situation. So him and
- 34:51Speaker 7: Max parted ways, but they parted ways as the number
- 34:54Speaker 7: one show. Yeah, Max got his own thing and Max
- 35:00Speaker 7: Hello man when he comes to boxing man.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I don't know. Nobody's smarter that that boy. Man and
- 35:05Speaker 1: I like Max kill him a lot.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Well, what abouts? Is he hard to get along with
- 35:10Speaker 6: or something? I don't know.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 35:13Speaker 7: I haven't talked to Shedding about that. I don't Skip.
- 35:16Speaker 7: He seems like a good guy to me. Some people
- 35:19Speaker 7: think he says some risky things. Uh, but what you're
- 35:23Speaker 7: supposed to say is that's what type of show it is.
- 35:26Speaker 7: You know, that's a lot.
- 35:30Speaker 1: That's a lot of I think at one point stephen
- 35:35Speaker 1: A would be afraid of shit. That's what I thought
- 35:38Speaker 1: I would. Well, he's a big guy, Okay, all right.
- 35:52Speaker 8: Minutes after a man robs the store in Miami with
- 35:56Speaker 8: a cardboard box on his head, we'll get into that
- 35:59Speaker 8: right after this.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Don't that's creative.
- 36:02Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show. We'll talk about thinking outside
- 36:07Speaker 8: of the box. A thirty three year old man is
- 36:10Speaker 8: accused of robbing a phone repair shop in Miami Gardens,
- 36:14Speaker 8: and he was wearing a cardboard.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Box on his head to conceal his identity. So here's
- 36:20Speaker 6: a question.
- 36:21Speaker 8: Have you seen this guy? The video of him with
- 36:25Speaker 8: this box on his head? Have you guys seen this?
- 36:27Speaker 8: The disguise would have worked if he hadn't tipped the
- 36:31Speaker 8: box back briefly to get a good look at something
- 36:34Speaker 8: and revealed his face on the in store cameras. The
- 36:38Speaker 8: alleged burglar smashed glass display cases and left with the
- 36:42Speaker 8: at least eight thousand dollars worth of cell phones. The
- 36:45Speaker 8: man was arrested and charged with grand theft, burglary, criminal mischief,
- 36:49Speaker 8: cocaine possession and resisting an officer without violence, according to
- 36:53Speaker 8: Miami Dade County booking records. Why do you think he
- 36:56Speaker 8: chose a box over his head that he had to
- 36:59Speaker 8: lift up so he can see what was going on?
- 37:02Speaker 7: Surely his stupid decision he made, I know, was to
- 37:09Speaker 7: go rob a cell phone stuff.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You know, you know, I ain't even got to the
- 37:16Speaker 1: box yet.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Okay, you in there smashing counters grabbing cell phones eight
- 37:25Speaker 7: thousand dollars worth of sell phone? What now you got
- 37:29Speaker 7: to go and sell with CeAl numbers on it when
- 37:37Speaker 7: the people buy the phone to go get the service
- 37:40Speaker 7: they got. You don't think that this report gonna go
- 37:43Speaker 7: out all these news No, it's just that whole line
- 37:47Speaker 7: of thinking. Now, let's move on to.
- 37:50Speaker 1: The box on you.
- 37:51Speaker 6: Okay, all right there.
- 37:52Speaker 7: Now, if you are able to make a dumb decision
- 37:55Speaker 7: like I'm gonna do, smash and grab on the cell
- 37:58Speaker 7: phone stuff, the box on your head makes perfect.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Why not?
- 38:06Speaker 7: Because yeah, it don't fit? Yeah right now, he got
- 38:12Speaker 7: to lift it up. Just boy, he should have tried it.
- 38:19Speaker 7: He should have did a paper bag because you had
- 38:21Speaker 7: a better shot. You know that you wear the football.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Games you know where you don't want. Nobody knows you.
- 38:27Speaker 1: You've been better off with that. Look at that. Look
- 38:32Speaker 1: at the screen. Yeah, I see it. Oh my god,
- 38:36Speaker 1: I see if his food was in there.
- 38:38Speaker 7: With a white and loose box loose, if somebody called
- 38:45Speaker 7: him he turned and he can't see, they would blow
- 38:51Speaker 7: his disguise though, Jerry out, I check this out now.
- 38:55Speaker 7: He in jail right now. The other inmates is watching
- 39:00Speaker 7: this on the news. Yes, he's sitting next to her
- 39:05Speaker 7: and they're going they do dog you.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Stoop.
- 39:12Speaker 6: Yeah, that was pretty up there in stupidity.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Your all right?
- 39:18Speaker 6: Well, coming up next. She is here, sister Odell. Right
- 39:23Speaker 6: after this. You're listening morning show.

- 41:02Speaker 7: He was cutting through farm lived and ricking lie. It
- 41:07Speaker 7: was women's looking for him and daddy's looking farmed. They

- 41:16Speaker 1: Oh really they had that. He the one was unwonted postal.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Oh but what the police didn't know? He was wanted
- 41:24Speaker 1: for other things, to.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Other things.
- 41:29Speaker 1: He wasn't where he was wanted. You know what I'm
- 41:33Speaker 1: saying anyway about walking them.
- 41:39Speaker 8: Well, High Torch's grandson, waka Flock of Flame, just recorded
- 41:44Speaker 8: this gospel song with gospel artist James Fortune. Now the
- 41:48Speaker 8: song is called Voyage, and I just wanted to get
- 41:51Speaker 8: your take on this. How do you feel about rappers

- 54:08Speaker 8: Here it is Strawberry Letter, Thank you nephew. Subject room temperature,
- 54:13Speaker 8: water and dish soap. Dear Stephen Shirley. I found out
- 54:18Speaker 8: that my new boyfriend is very special. I thought he
- 54:22Speaker 8: was special in a lot of ways, but I didn't
- 54:24Speaker 8: know he was special special till our recent trip to
- 54:28Speaker 8: my oldest daughter's graduation. We've been dating for four months
- 54:32Speaker 8: and I took a chance and invited him to go
- 54:34Speaker 8: with me. It was a three hour drive, and I
- 54:37Speaker 8: had expected him to offer to drive the day before.
- 54:40Speaker 8: He asked me when was I picking him up? That
- 54:45Speaker 8: let me know he had no plans of driving us there.
- 54:47Speaker 8: Along the way, he told me that he does not
- 54:50Speaker 8: drive on the interstate because big trucks stress him out.
- 54:54Speaker 8: I noticed him looking really anxious when cars sped by us.
- 54:58Speaker 8: We went by my daughter's college and he didn't want
- 55:01Speaker 8: to get out because he informed me that he doesn't
- 55:04Speaker 8: like crowd. I asked him how he was going to
- 55:07Speaker 8: do at the graduation, and he said he didn't plan
- 55:10Speaker 8: to go. He just wanted to ride with me so
- 55:13Speaker 8: I wouldn't have to drive alone. That first night together
- 55:16Speaker 8: in the hotel was really awkward, and I just have
- 55:19Speaker 8: to tell you guys all about it. My boyfriend ran
- 55:22Speaker 8: a big tub of water that wasn't hot, and it
- 55:25Speaker 8: wasn't cold. He said it had to be room temperature.
- 55:29Speaker 8: He filled the tub with dishwashing liquid that he brought.
- 55:32Speaker 6: From his house.
- 55:34Speaker 8: First off, I don't understand sitting in the tub in
- 55:37Speaker 8: a hotel room. He didn't wash it out first, and
- 55:41Speaker 8: he didn't wash it out first. Then he sat his
- 55:43Speaker 8: behind in the bubbles that were created by dish soap.
- 55:46Speaker 6: I didn't hear any.
- 55:47Speaker 8: Splashing or washing off or anything similar, so I asked
- 55:52Speaker 8: if he was okay. He said he would be in
- 55:55Speaker 8: there soaking for at least thirty minutes, so it was okay.
- 55:58Speaker 8: So it was okay if I went on to I've
- 56:00Speaker 8: dated a lot of weirdos since my divorce, but he
- 56:03Speaker 8: takes the cake.
- 56:04Speaker 6: Do I talk to him about this or should I
- 56:07Speaker 6: break up with him?
- 56:09Speaker 8: I don't think there's really too much to talk about
- 56:12Speaker 8: because this guy finds falls under the heading of what
- 56:15Speaker 8: do you need him for? I mean, he didn't drive you,
- 56:18Speaker 8: he didn't help you drive. He was afraid of the expressway,
- 56:22Speaker 8: got anxious when he saw big trucks and cars speeding
- 56:26Speaker 8: by you. He doesn't like crowds. He didn't tell you
- 56:29Speaker 8: he wasn't going to the graduation because he doesn't like crowds.
- 56:33Speaker 1: It is a lot. So again, what do you need
- 56:36Speaker 1: this guy for?
- 56:37Speaker 8: He told you to go to sleep while he was
- 56:39Speaker 8: soaking in the tub, So I guess you don't need
- 56:42Speaker 8: him for sex either. I mean you call him a
- 56:45Speaker 8: weirdo who takes the cake, and all these to me
- 56:48Speaker 8: are red flags for you. So I'd say pay attention
- 56:52Speaker 8: because how he is now is how he's going to
- 56:55Speaker 8: be if you guys do decide to be in a relationship.
- 56:58Speaker 8: And I think you've seen all you need to see
- 57:01Speaker 8: with this guy, and I don't think you guys are
- 57:03Speaker 8: gonna make it next.
- 57:05Speaker 7: See this letter's real clear to me. Room temperature, water,
- 57:09Speaker 7: dish soap. Let me just break this down what you're
- 57:13Speaker 7: dealing with him. You got a new barfare and there's
- 57:16Speaker 7: special and you thought he was specially in.
- 57:18Speaker 1: A lot of ways, but you ain't know he was special.
- 57:21Speaker 7: Special till y'all took a trip to your oldest daughter's graduation.
- 57:26Speaker 7: Now that means you all are in your forties. Your
- 57:31Speaker 7: oldest daughter's graduation, you took a trip to that. I'm
- 57:35Speaker 7: assuming that the girl must be in college. I'm assuming
- 57:40Speaker 7: that m so y'all been dating four months and you invited.
- 57:44Speaker 7: You took a chance inviting him to go with you.
- 57:47Speaker 7: It was a three hour drive. You expected him to
- 57:50Speaker 7: offer the drive The day before he asked you when
- 57:53Speaker 7: you was gonna pick him up that let me know
- 57:56Speaker 7: he had new plans of driving us there along the way.
- 58:00Speaker 7: He ain't even offer the drive now because along the
- 58:02Speaker 7: way he told me that he does not drive on
- 58:04Speaker 7: the interstate because big trucks stress him out. What did
- 58:10Speaker 7: your perk ass just say? You excuse me.
- 58:19Speaker 1: If I'm a woman and I'm riding in the.
- 58:22Speaker 7: Car with my man and he tell me the reason
- 58:28Speaker 7: he does not drive on the interstate is cause big
- 58:33Speaker 7: trucks stress him out, the next words out of my
- 58:38Speaker 7: mouth will be.
- 58:41Speaker 1: What did your perk ass just say to his face?
- 58:48Speaker 7: Now Here she is driving all around these big trucks,
- 58:54Speaker 7: Her man. Her Man says that stressed me out. And
- 59:01Speaker 7: then you noticed him looking really anxious when cars spared
- 59:06Speaker 7: by us. So now you have slowed it down for
- 59:10Speaker 7: his scary ass, and now he looking anxious when cars speedback,
- 59:17Speaker 7: his shoulders going up by his ears.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Every time a car go by, he in the car whipped.
- 59:35Speaker 1: What is hey, man?
- 59:39Speaker 7: We went by my daughter's college. He didn't want to
- 59:42Speaker 7: get out because he informed me he don't like crowd. Okay,
- 59:45Speaker 7: hold up, he scared of big trucks. He don't like
- 59:50Speaker 7: little car's passity.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Now he's scared of people too crowd because what is
- 59:58Speaker 1: a crowd?
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: So y'all stay, y'all got to stay one on one.
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: I asked him how I was going. Hi, He was
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: gonna do it to graduation. I ain't going no Daniel graduation.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: What if you thought I was going graduation for you
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: don't if he was gonna be there, he said he
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: just wanted to ride with me so I wouldn't have
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: to drive alone. I might as well be by myself.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: Your poor casts up in here.
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: Hold on, Steve, hang on to that thought. We'll have
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: part two of your response coming up. At twenty three
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter, subject room temperature,
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: water and dish soap.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: Right after this, you're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: room temperature, water and dish soap.
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: Oh, this woman dating this little classic little this little
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: ragged ass man.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: You don't found this little boy right here?
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: You asked Tim Totam you was going to your graduation
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: daughter's graduation, graduating from college. He said he'll go with you,
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: But then he asked you when you're picking him up.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: You gonna pick his ass up, y'all. Riding on the freeway,
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: he informs you out on the freeway he don't like
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: to drive on the interstate because big truck stressed him out. Okay,
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: then you found out he looked anxious when cars.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Sped by him.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: So now you have slowed it down for his punk
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: asd Now he's still jumping every time a car go by.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: He jumped. Now he whipped, you're killing me with the
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: truck and the whipper.
- 1:01:39Speaker 14: Lord, No, they moved in two saands by the way
- 1:01:47Speaker 14: walk walk, Are you crazy?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I got this? He in this cover.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: He If you don't shut your ass, this is her
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: talking to him right went to my daughter's college. He
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: didn't want to get out because he informed me he
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: don't like crying. But so now he scared a big truck,
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: fast cars and people. I asked him how he's gonna
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: do it to graduate? He I ain't gonna graduation. I'm
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: you know, And then you know it's gonna mean some
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: more people in the ass something on you, and people
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: gonna be pulling up in their cars and blow they heard.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: He said, he just wanted to ride with you so
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: you wouldn't be alone. Might as well be alone, your
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: punk ass in the car scared, shaking, hollering, quivering. First
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: night together in the hotel was really awkward. My boyfriend
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: ran a big tub of water that wasn't hot, and
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: it wasn't cold. He said it had to be room temperature.
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: He filled the table dish wise the liquid that he
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: bought from his house. Listen, listen to me. The only
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: thing could have made this worse is if he'd have
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: had a book a glass of wine. Because I'm just
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: gonna tell you, ladies right now. If your man gets
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: in a bubble bath, which is okay, ain't nothing wrong
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: with a man taking a bath, ain't none wrong with that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: But if he got a glass of wine and a book,
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: were gonna have some questions. We we we we we
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: we we we we we we we we just gonna
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: have some questions. And I'm telling you I don't mind
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: a man taking a bath. A lot of men take baths,
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: relaxes of hard, dead work.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Got it here. But if his ass has a glass.
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: Of wine, white or red, but really if it's white though,
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: and if he likes one camera.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: And his ass gets a novel or novel and he
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: tied his head up, I'm telling you right now, his
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: head up, we got a damn problem, lady.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: So now, first off, I don't understand sitting in the
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: tub in the hotel that he didn't wash out. First,
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: then he said it's behind in the bubbles that were
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: created by the dish show and it wasn't no splashing
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: or washing off anything. So I asked if he was okay.
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: He said he'd be there soaking for at least thirty minutes,
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: So it's okay if I go to sleep. Now, I've
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: dated a lot of weirdos since my divorce. But he
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: takes the cake. Do I talk to him about this?
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Or should I break up with him? First of all,
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: why would you stay with him? You got a man
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: that can't drive on the freeway. You got a man
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: that don't know where to go, don't like going their
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: way in crowds. You got a man that runs room
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: temperature bubble bath water and don't like talking and soaking
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: it every night for thirty minutes. And you want to
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: know should you break up with him or talk to
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: him about this? It's nothing to talk about you telling
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: you got a man that's got some issues. Why you
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: think he was available? How you think you just found
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: him out of nowhere? How you thought this was your
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: just your damn lucky day. And now let me talk
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: to you. First of all, where did you find this tender,
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: soft ass, scary ass man at?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Where was he at? Now let me explain something to you. Lady.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: You need to start reevaluating no how and who you date,
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: because you said you've dated a lot of weirdos since
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: my divorce. See, you have a propensity for picking weirdos.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: So now your pick scaless off. You need to stop picking.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: You need to talk to God and let God have
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: a man find you because your pickers off.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: You said, in your letter.
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: I've dated a lot of weirdos since my divorce, but
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: he takes the cake a lot of weirdos weirdo. So
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: you go out and your idea of dating a man
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: is you always picking weirdo.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: See, it's something wrong with your picker. So guess what
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you need to stop doing.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: You need to stop picking because it's all your picker
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: is broken. You that picked his punk ass. This ten
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: from reading books of drinking wine. Scared of traffic and
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: people and.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Leave your comments on today's Strubberry Letter.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Talk to him about it or break up at.

- 1:10:24Speaker 1: And look at this.
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: All the proceeds raised will go to the Steven Marjorie
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: Harvey Foundation to help fund your mentoring camps for young
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: men and women. And you and Marjorie had seven children
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: of your own, of course, yet you're both so passionate
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: about mentoring hundreds of other people's kids every year. And
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: you know, I mean, we ask you this a lot,
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: but does it ever get old for you?
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: I mean, why do you do it?
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: I mean, look, you know to who much is given?
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: Much is the quiet, right. But I've learned so much
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: about the scriptures other elements to it too. I don't
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: have time to get into it. But Ma Mama used
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: to tell me all the time. She says, son, God
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: blesses you to become a blessing.
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: What I've learned in my life is that the more
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: God can trust you with what He's given to you,
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: the more you give to you to be trusted with.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: So what I've tried to do, I don't take all
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: of my money and and and use it for good.
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: Some of the stuff I buy things I want and like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: and my wife and I are able to have a
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: lifestyle that we could have never had. But a large
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: portion of what I do is for other people, and
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: I do enough. You know, I'm very happy with the
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: amount that I do. It's amazing the number of people.
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Go why would you buy a car like that? You
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: know how many people you could have fed? Yeah, but
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: you know that's not my job though, that's that's not
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: NOI is it your job? You know, you you have
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: to you have to do your fair share and do it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: My share has been important to me, and caring about
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: other people's children other than my own is a big component,
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: whether it's boys or girls. The girls were down at
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: the ranch in January, one hundred and fifty girls, two.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Hundred and fifty boys.
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: Would be at the ranch next week, beginning on Wednesday,
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: and they will stay all the way through Father's Day
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: because they don't have fathers that are active in their lightness.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: And so we celebrate Father's Day and we show them
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: what real men look like. And I got a lot
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: of great volunteer mens that come down there and talk,
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: and we spread two messages, the principles of manhood and
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: dream building.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: You can take these principles and you can go to college,
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: you can go to the military, or you can go
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: on and get in the work world.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: But that's my job. I'm very different from Camp Grace.
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: Dave Piedemont down there, who has a camp of about
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: forty about fifty minutes from mine, who I've modeled a
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: lot of my stuff after because he's done it the
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: right way, and he's in the soul saving business. At
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: Camp Grace, he gets and turns children to get their
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: lives turned over to christ. I'm in the life saving business.
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: I'm trying to save boys' lives. Then if you want
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: to get saved along the way, okay, but I gotta
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: get you. My job is to get your mind out
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: these streets, get your mind out these drugs, get your
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: mind out these gang bangings. Get your mind on a
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: positive path so you can go and accomplish what you
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: want to accomplish. So he's in the soul saving business.
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: I'm in the life saving business. Now, you would think
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: the two go hand in hand, and they do. We've
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: had six ministers come out of this program. We have
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: seven full fledged our brothers that are members over make us.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I five who have pledged and crossed.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: We have ministers, we have engineers, we have military mayor,
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: we have policemen. Now, we have counselors. We have a
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: couple of lawyers that have come out the programs. We've
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: got a bunch of kids that have went to college
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: and a bunch of kids who graduated.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: So the program works.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: All I need now is help to build this ranch
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: out because I want to start building this year. At
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: one point I didn't raise enough money to build the building.
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: This year, I couldn't get it done in time. So
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: guess what, that don't stop nothing. I got enough buildings
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: on it to make the forward, to make the program
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: go forward.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: The tents are erected and we are on with the program.
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: Because it ain't how many buildings you've got, how many
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: programs you've got.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Yes, thank you, Steve.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: Yeah.

- 1:20:43Speaker 8: You're raising funds and proceeds will go to the Stephen
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: Marchart Harvey Foundation.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: What are you wearing? How FLA will your golf ge
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: you know the tournament p HG golfing Attyle?
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: What is all PhDs though the newest golf line that's
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: out to golf club.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: It's really great golf club. My game is saved. It
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: feels better when I do hit up this shot because
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you supply you look good, you feel good to play.
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: My claim to fame is I'm the greatest every now
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: and then golfer to ever live. What that means is
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: what that means is it is amazing that I can
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: play at the level that I play, and I don't
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: play now these guys out here that's handicapped ten twelve,
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: all that single ginger handicap. You don't want my game.
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: I understand that you don't want my game, and I
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: won't show game. I really do, but I don't have
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: the time to get it have it for your game.
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: So I play my game. I go out there and
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: enjoy myself. Look, I play with a four s. We
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: have a mulligan.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: On each side. You get a mulligan.
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: On the front nine you get your breakfast ball, and
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: then on the front you get a mulligan, and then
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: on back you get a mulligan. For those of you
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: that don't know what a mulligan means, it means you
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: get one shot that you get to do overs. So
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: that's how I play with my buddies, because you know,
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: we all at the same level wing grape, so you know,
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: and we go out there and we jow ourself.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: You know, I ain't got no nationally ranked handicappers and
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: all like that. I don't do all that. You know,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: all is here.
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: If my ball is behind the tree and up against
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: one of the roots, I'm moving my ball. I'm not
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: poking my teeth out trying to get this ball out.
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: I got to go to work tomorrow.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I need my teeth. So I don't do that.
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: And if you want to need to move your ball,
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: you know, if you all, if you right there on
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: that red hazard line, I'll let you play it. I
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: don't give a day gone hit it up, man. So
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: you know it ain't that serious to me. I just
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: play golf to enjoy it. Man, I'm not out there
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: stressing myself out. Lee Elder, Great Lee Elder, who's passed,
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: God rest his soul, told me one time with a
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: group of guys. We was playing with him out in California.
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: One time, this guy was just cussing. He got your
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: faux hos, Lee Haynes said. The young man stopped. He said,
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: you want some advice?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: He said yeah. He said, you ain't good enough to
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: get made hundred bruh. That fixed it for me. Lee Elder, said,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you're not good enough to get mad.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: See throw golfers. They can get mad because they know better.
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: He said, on your best date.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: You ain't good.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Dog.
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: You can't even break ninety. Now you're out here hitting
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: an arrange shot. What's you mad about? Most of your
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: shots is airy. No, you ain't gonna tell you don't
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: make greens in regulation. You don't drive the ball, and
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: then your second shot you on the damn green. I'll
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: be down there by and boy, but when I do
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: get on the door, what you know, I very rally
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: make greens in regulation on the faux park.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: But when I do get up there, dough can't talk
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: to you. No hell no, walk serious the wall.
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: Dog, I'm gonna park because I can put a very
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: rally three puts a very very rarely three, very rarely three.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Is there gonna be some cheating at the tournament?
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: It was in.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Who cheated? You leave your boys?
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: They won the golf tournament in Obydas. No, no, no, yeah,
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: they never played it. They didn't cheat. They only played
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: nine holes.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: But they turned their.
- 1:24:57Speaker 12: Score CARDI and they showed they shot what a thirty something?
- 1:25:04Speaker 12: That don't make no sense? What so they going to
- 1:25:07Speaker 12: golf courses.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: So they gonna be playing at a golf tournament today
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: getting barred them. You know, they don't come, They can't.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: You can't even play.
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: Okay, So what are you looking for today? What's gonna
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: what's gonna be fun or exciting or what? What are
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: you looking to happen today?
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: Just the camaraderie of the guy. There's a lot of
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: cool guys that come every year. I only see once
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: a year. There's some cool brothers out there, man, and
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: we be talking. Trash happens big times. It's a lot
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: of cool people out there now. The people that's coming
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: out there that takes pictures asking to beat this a
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: pointed why, because that ain't what I'm out here.
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: Just take the thought you had gotten over that you
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: got over that.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Everybody gonna want a picture, take them, take it, take it.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: But I'm not posing you check it now.
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: If I stop, listen to me, If I stop to
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: take a picture that everybody asks for a picture, when am.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: I gonna go? I want to play golf too, man, Okay,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I get and I gotta focus. Man, it's hard to
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: get that ball in that hole.
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: And then now and then I got the news cameras
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: following me around, so they got two holes to get
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: their pictures, and they they ask got to go on
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: so I can enjoy my days.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Come out there. I ain't gonna never change, No, I didn't.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: You shut up your.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: Path.
