Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:05Speaker 2: we have got a lot on this money to talk about,
- 0:08Speaker 2: and it's more than just the eclipse. There are new
- 0:10Speaker 2: warnings at the southern border about possible terrace coming across
- 0:14Speaker 2: as well.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Well, that's right.
- 0:16Speaker 3: We should start with the fact that the eclipse is
- 0:18Speaker 3: going to be happening today, that it is by all
- 0:21Speaker 3: accounts going to be spectacular. It's right over the middle
- 0:25Speaker 3: of Texas, and so if you are anywhere in the
- 0:27Speaker 3: path of the eclipse, i'd encourage you to go outside,
- 0:30Speaker 3: take a few minutes to obviously don't look directly in
- 0:33Speaker 3: the sun, but you can do the pinhole pinhole effort
- 0:38Speaker 3: with a piece of paper and take your kids out
- 0:40Speaker 3: there and see. We should get for good chunk of
- 0:43Speaker 3: Texas about about four minutes of darkness right in the
- 0:45Speaker 3: middle of the day, and so that should be worthwhile
- 0:49Speaker 3: to go see. And actually, Ben, you're right now in Kerrville, Texas,
- 0:54Speaker 3: at a ranch right in the prime viewing spot. So
- 0:58Speaker 3: I will say today, as Verdict is coming out, the
- 1:02Speaker 3: sun will be blotted out.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It will be and I said, rarely in my life
- 1:07Speaker 2: can I say that I went to the perfect spot.
- 1:10Speaker 2: If it's good enough for NASA, it's gotta be good
- 1:12Speaker 2: enough for me. So it's gonna be four plus minutes
- 1:14Speaker 2: of total darkness, they say, and my kids are here.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's gonna be fun in Curveville. They say.
- 1:19Speaker 2: The town of Curveville is gonna swell by over five
- 1:22Speaker 2: hundred thousand people just to see this moment. While it's
- 1:25Speaker 2: a lifetime experience. Well, that is phenomenal. And I will say,
- 1:29Speaker 2: We've got a lot to talk about on the pod today.
- 1:31Speaker 2: We've got, first of all, the border continues to get
- 1:33Speaker 2: worse and worse and worse. We're seeing god aways increasing,
- 1:36Speaker 2: We're seeing people on the known terror list increasing. That
- 1:40Speaker 2: is combining with the growing news of the threats of
- 1:45Speaker 2: a direct terror attack because of the war in the
- 1:48Speaker 2: Middle East, because of Iran, because of Hamas, because of Hesbola,
- 1:52Speaker 2: because of Palestinian Islamic jihad. The risk of a terror
- 1:57Speaker 2: attack here in the United States keeps going up, and
- 1:59Speaker 2: Joe Biden's open border is making it worse and worse.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We're also going to talk about the new audit done
- 2:04Speaker 2: at the IRS when it turns out that well, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 2: all of Joe Biden and Janet Yellen's promises not to
- 2:11Speaker 2: audit the middle class, turns out they were lying. They
- 2:13Speaker 2: are in fact going after the middle class, which would
- 2:15Speaker 2: be exactly what we told you on this podcast they
- 2:18Speaker 2: were going to do. And finally, we're going to talk
- 2:21Speaker 2: about the impact the economy is having on Americans across
- 2:24Speaker 2: the country on prices, on day to day living, and
- 2:28Speaker 2: how despite the White House trying to spin baby spin,
- 2:32Speaker 2: Bidenomics is proving to be a disaster for most Americans.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Let me tell you about our friends ever at Patriot Mobile.

- 3:29Speaker 2: It's actually really easy. You get to keep your same
- 3:31Speaker 2: cell phone number, You get to keep your same phone

- 4:31Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot a's nine seven to two Patriot.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Let's talk about the warning at the southern border. The
- 4:37Speaker 2: number of godaways has skyrocketed center and this is as
- 4:41Speaker 2: there has been so much attention on the border, which
- 4:44Speaker 2: which again goes back to the point that you've said
- 4:46Speaker 2: over and over again, this administration created this. They don't
- 4:49Speaker 2: believe it's a problem. They believe this is a way
- 4:51Speaker 2: to change this country. It's an opportunity for them to
- 4:53Speaker 2: bring in new voters and change things with the map
- 4:56Speaker 2: in Congress, with a census. The list of their person
- 5:00Speaker 2: is skyrocketing. Is more and more illegals coming across the border.
- 5:04Speaker 2: The problem now is the number of people that are
- 5:07Speaker 2: on the terrorist watch list is also skyrocketing that are
- 5:10Speaker 2: coming across southern border. As there's been concerns and warnings
- 5:13Speaker 2: from the FBI. You've been warning about this for quite
- 5:16Speaker 2: some time.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, if you.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Look at the number of suspects on the terror watch
- 5:22Speaker 3: list apprehended at the Southern border for the entire four
- 5:25Speaker 3: years of the Trump administration, fiscal year twenty seventeen to
- 5:28Speaker 3: fiscal year twenty twenty one, the total people on the
- 5:32Speaker 3: terror watch list apprehended was twenty six over a total
- 5:36Speaker 3: of four years. Joe Biden came in, opened up the border,
- 5:40Speaker 3: and those numbers have skyrocketed in the last six months.
- 5:45Speaker 3: In the first half of fiscal year twenty twenty four,
- 5:49Speaker 3: sixty nine suspects on the terror watch list have been apprehended.
- 5:53Speaker 3: That's in six months. That that is more than ten
- 5:58Speaker 3: a month we had twenty six and four years, and
- 6:00Speaker 3: under Joe Biden, we have more than ten known terrorist
- 6:05Speaker 3: or people on the terror watch list apprehended every single
- 6:10Speaker 3: month of this fiscal year. You put that on top
- 6:14Speaker 3: of the really concerning number, which is the known god aways.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Known god aways are people we've observed at the border,
- 6:20Speaker 3: we know are there, but they got away, and they
- 6:22Speaker 3: got away. Typically, the god aways are much more likely
- 6:26Speaker 3: to be serious problems. They're more likely to be criminals.
- 6:28Speaker 3: They're more likely to be murderers or rapists or child molesters.
- 6:31Speaker 3: They're more likely to be gang members, and they're more
- 6:34Speaker 3: likely to be terrorist. If you're a terrorist, you're not
- 6:36Speaker 3: likely going to go turn yourself in to the border
- 6:39Speaker 3: patrol agents, which is what millions of the legal immigrants
- 6:42Speaker 3: Joe Biden has led interdoing. Just in the month of March,
- 6:45Speaker 3: there were over twenty thousand known god aways. Just on
- 6:51Speaker 3: Sunday there were nine hundred and nineteen known god aways.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Those are people among those nine hundred and nineteen. We
- 6:58Speaker 3: don't know how many terrorists are there, but we do
- 7:01Speaker 3: know that if the terrorists are coming, that's what they're
- 7:03Speaker 3: going to be as a gutaway.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And those numbers are coming from customs and border patrols.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So this is the own Biden administration's numbers. They're telling
- 7:11Speaker 2: you this. There was also something else that Governor Abbott,
- 7:13Speaker 2: a good frint of yours, said on Fox News Channel.
- 7:15Speaker 2: He was asked about the Biden administration. Are they changing,
- 7:19Speaker 2: Are they doing anything different? I mean, in reality, we
- 7:22Speaker 2: know the Biden administration sues Texas so that Texas can't
- 7:25Speaker 2: protect and defend itself and tries to rip down the
- 7:28Speaker 2: razor wire and the border security measures they put up.
- 7:31Speaker 2: But what he said about this is the issue of
- 7:33Speaker 2: the terrorists coming across. He also said something else that's
- 7:35Speaker 2: very interesting that those on the tarists watch lists they
- 7:39Speaker 2: make more money for the smugglers than the cartel members
- 7:41Speaker 2: that are bringing them across. They're willing to pay more
- 7:44Speaker 2: to get across our scar border. Take a listen to
- 7:47Speaker 2: this from Fox News.
- 7:49Speaker 4: The chief of the Border Patrol is saying exactly one
- 7:51Speaker 4: hundred and forty thousand got aways. If we don't know
- 7:55Speaker 4: who is coming into our country and we don't know
- 7:57Speaker 4: what their intent is, that is a threat. Does President Biden?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Degree President absolutely believes that along that border, we do
- 8:05Speaker 2: have significant national security concerns that have to be met.
- 8:08Speaker 3: He also said that they're doing everything that they possibly can.
- 8:11Speaker 5: But are you worried that we're in a September tenth
- 8:14Speaker 5: mentality on this issue. Let's be clear, the Bid administration
- 8:18Speaker 5: is doing nothing to stop terrorists from coming across the border.
- 8:22Speaker 5: They are knowingly allowing them in. And there's two categories here.
- 8:27Speaker 5: They're the terrorists who are actually apprehended. The terrorists apprehended
- 8:31Speaker 5: are an all time record, many multiples of those who
- 8:35Speaker 5: came across the border under the Trump administration. But second
- 8:38Speaker 5: you talked about the god aways, well, the terrorists will
- 8:42Speaker 5: pay extra not to be caught. What that means is
- 8:46Speaker 5: the number that we've caught, which is extraordinary. There's far
- 8:49Speaker 5: more than that who've gotten across the border. Remember this.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Also last month, the FBI director talked about a potential
- 8:56Speaker 5: nine to eleven type terrorist attack because of the terror
- 9:00Speaker 5: who are coming across our border. The chief job of
- 9:03Speaker 5: the president of the United States is national security. The
- 9:06Speaker 5: President Biden is failing at national security. We are extraordinarily
- 9:11Speaker 5: concerned about a terrorist attack occurring in Texas or elsewhere
- 9:15Speaker 5: in the United States because of the terrorists who are
- 9:17Speaker 5: crossing our border at will, unstopped by the botom of
- 9:20Speaker 5: you think ISIS is here today, so I have no
- 9:24Speaker 5: information that they are. However, again, the FBI director was
- 9:29Speaker 5: talking last month about the possibility that Isis could be
- 9:32Speaker 5: coming here. Think about this concept. It's ridiculous that anybody
- 9:36Speaker 5: has their shoes inspected at an airport these days, when
- 9:40Speaker 5: terrorists can come right across the border and sneak in
- 9:43Speaker 5: and come here. Let me foreshadow also another concern we're
- 9:47Speaker 5: going to have really soon that started kind of beginning
- 9:49Speaker 5: right now, and that's going to be drone wars. The
- 9:53Speaker 5: capability of the cartels about getting things across the border
- 9:55Speaker 5: through drones already is extraordinary, and they're going to be
- 9:59Speaker 5: more aggressive, more sophisticated in the drawing attacks. We can
- 10:03Speaker 5: sustain a drawing attack anytime.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Senator, You've talked about this, the number of drones that
- 10:08Speaker 2: are coming across. We played this audio on Verdict just
- 10:12Speaker 2: a few weeks ago, where where they were before Congress.
- 10:15Speaker 2: They were talking about tens of thousands of drones that
- 10:18Speaker 2: are coming across into American airspace, some of them dropping
- 10:22Speaker 2: drugs and fetnyls, some of them spying on Americans. They
- 10:24Speaker 2: can also be used to target and to kill people
- 10:26Speaker 2: as well. We are seeing that in the Middle East
- 10:28Speaker 2: right now. We're seeing that the war between Russia and Ukraine.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And yet all of this is happening. And we go
- 10:34Speaker 2: back to one of the things you said there, I mean, center,
- 10:35Speaker 2: are we in a September tenth mentality, which is what
- 10:39Speaker 2: you heard her say there on Fox, Because I am
- 10:41Speaker 2: terrified that the Biden administration is absolutely in a September
- 10:45Speaker 2: tenth mindset.
- 10:47Speaker 3: I think there's no question about it. And the risk
- 10:49Speaker 3: of a major terrorist attack in the United States is
- 10:53Speaker 3: higher today than it has been any time since September eleventh,
- 10:57Speaker 3: two thousand and one. And on top top of that,
- 11:01Speaker 3: we have the news breaking this weekend. USA Today reported
- 11:04Speaker 3: the US is on high alert for a potential attack
- 11:07Speaker 3: on Israel or on American facilities in the Middle East,
- 11:11Speaker 3: in retaliation for an Israeli strike in Syria that killed
- 11:15Speaker 3: Iranian commanders. Two US officials told USA Today. Iran vowed
- 11:20Speaker 3: revenge after suspected Israeli warplanes bombed its embassy in Damascus
- 11:25Speaker 3: on Monday, killing a top Iranian military commander, a major
- 11:29Speaker 3: escalation in Israel's war with its regional adversaries. The Biden
- 11:34Speaker 3: administration is concerned about the possibility Iranians might attack US
- 11:38Speaker 3: bases in Iraq and Syria, sources said, and American forces
- 11:42Speaker 3: were in a heightened state of vigilance. Iran's Revolutionary guards
- 11:47Speaker 3: announced the death of seven military advisers in the Damascus strike,
- 11:52Speaker 3: including Mohammad Reza Zahidi, a senior commander at its Kudz Force,
- 11:57Speaker 3: an elite foreign espionage and paramilitary arm Iran promised quote
- 12:04Speaker 3: to take a decisive response. So we have Iran, the
- 12:10Speaker 3: leading state sponsor of terrorism, promising a decisive response, funding
- 12:16Speaker 3: millions and millions of dollars to fund Hamas terrorists, to
- 12:21Speaker 3: fund Hesbala terrorists, to fund Palestinian Islamic jihad to attack
- 12:26Speaker 3: directly American forces in the Middle East. And we have
- 12:30Speaker 3: on top of that Joe Biden and the Democrats. And
- 12:33Speaker 3: by the way, it's not just Joe Biden, it's every
- 12:35Speaker 3: congressional Democrat who has rubber stamped these open border policies,
- 12:39Speaker 3: who have given the Iranians and Hamas and Hezbollah a
- 12:43Speaker 3: red carpet invitation to come into this country. And by
- 12:46Speaker 3: the way, you heard Greg Gabbett talking about the drones.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Our drone vulnerability is enormous. I mean, we had testimony
- 12:54Speaker 3: of upwards of twenty five thousand drone incursions from the
- 12:59Speaker 3: car tells across our southern border. At a time when
- 13:04Speaker 3: Americans are directly threatened with terror, Joe Biden has given
- 13:09Speaker 3: an invitation to the for the terrorists to come to America.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Great point.
- 13:15Speaker 2: When you wake up in the morning, if you're like me,
- 13:17Speaker 2: you want a great cup of coffee. You want a
- 13:19Speaker 2: premium cup of coffee, and you don't want it from

- 13:28Speaker 2: every morning at seven am. I got to be up.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I gotta be ready. I got to be read in
- 13:32Speaker 2: on the news of the day, and then I've got
- 13:34Speaker 2: to be able to tell people what's going on. I'm
- 13:36Speaker 2: not going to do that with an average cup of coffee,
- 13:38Speaker 2: and I'm not going to do it with a woke
- 13:40Speaker 2: coffee brand. That's how I found out Blackout Coffee, and
- 13:44Speaker 2: that's why I want you to try them, and I'm

- 14:32Speaker 2: first order and you'll be hooked, just like I am
- 14:35Speaker 2: drinking blackout coffee every single day. Let's talk about what's
- 14:41Speaker 2: also happening in those warnings coming in the Middle East
- 14:43Speaker 2: right now. We did a show and I got to
- 14:45Speaker 2: say to all the vertic listeners, you guys were amazing
- 14:48Speaker 2: and spreading that show on social media. If you missed it,
- 14:50Speaker 2: we did an entire episode on Israel and what's going
- 14:53Speaker 2: on in Israel. You can grab it and share that
- 14:55Speaker 2: wherever you are on social media. But there was a
- 14:57Speaker 2: lot of people that I think learned a lot from
- 14:59Speaker 2: the just quession that we had here and look, you
- 15:02Speaker 2: now look at what's going on the Middle East and
- 15:04Speaker 2: this threat from Iran. I think we should all take
- 15:06Speaker 2: it obviously, very seriously. I don't think they're lying. I
- 15:08Speaker 2: don't think they're they're they're they're basically trying to bluff
- 15:11Speaker 2: on this one. And the concerns are significant, But the
- 15:15Speaker 2: real concern is is America's lack of response or saying
- 15:20Speaker 2: to Iran, you better not screw with us. And we've
- 15:24Speaker 2: allowed them for months and months to attack us interest
- 15:29Speaker 2: in the Middle East without US really retaliating, And that's
- 15:32Speaker 2: part of the reason why they're so bold right now,
- 15:34Speaker 2: am I wrong?
- 15:35Speaker 3: You're not, And it's worse than that. Look, I mean
- 15:37Speaker 3: we just a couple of weeks ago. I forced a
- 15:39Speaker 3: vote on the Senate floor to block the Biden administration
- 15:43Speaker 3: from sending billions of dollars to Iran, and every single
- 15:47Speaker 3: Senate Democrat but won. Everyone but Bob Menendez voted no.
- 15:52Speaker 3: And Menendez did it right at the end. I think
- 15:53Speaker 3: he was mostly pissed at the other Democrats who have
- 15:56Speaker 3: demanded that he resign, and so he voted with me.
- 15:59Speaker 3: But every other Democrat was happy to vote to send
- 16:03Speaker 3: billions to Iran. And by Iran has launched over one
- 16:07Speaker 3: hundred attacks on US servicemen and women in the last
- 16:11Speaker 3: six months. Not only that. You know, we just talked
- 16:14Speaker 3: about the threat from from Iran and the escalation in
- 16:19Speaker 3: the in the in the threat, what did the Biden
- 16:23Speaker 3: administration do well a US This is from NBC News Now.
- 16:28Speaker 3: A US intelligence assessment warns that Iran could carry out
- 16:30Speaker 3: an attack using a swarm of drones or land attack
- 16:36Speaker 3: cruise missiles, and that Iran could target an Israeli diplomatic
- 16:40Speaker 3: or consular facility in the region in retaliation for the
- 16:43Speaker 3: strike on Damascus. According to two US officials familiar with
- 16:47Speaker 3: the assessment, Iran is likely to respond before the end
- 16:50Speaker 3: of Ramadan next week, so there's a particularly heightened alert
- 16:55Speaker 3: right now. On Friday, a tap aid to Iranian President
- 16:59Speaker 3: Ibrahim Rasi said said Tehran sent a message warning the
- 17:03Speaker 3: United States not to get involved in the fight between
- 17:06Speaker 3: Israel and Iran. Quote in a written message, the Islamic
- 17:10Speaker 3: Republic of Iran warns US leadership not to get dragged
- 17:13Speaker 3: in net Yahu's trap for the US. Stay away so
- 17:16Speaker 3: you won't get hurt.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Is what.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Mohammed Jamshitti. Uh, that's how what his name is posted
- 17:23Speaker 3: on x He wrote that in response, the US asked
- 17:28Speaker 3: i Ran not to target American facilities. A spokesperson for
- 17:33Speaker 3: the National Security Council said reports that the US had
- 17:36Speaker 3: asked Iran not to target American facilities were simply wrong
- 17:39Speaker 3: and an Iranian spin. And and here's here's a little
- 17:43Speaker 3: bit more.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Quote.
- 17:44Speaker 3: We received a message from Iran following the strike in Damascus.
- 17:47Speaker 3: In response, we made clear that we were not behind
- 17:50Speaker 3: the strike. We also warned Iran not to use the
- 17:52Speaker 3: strike as a pretext to further escalate in the region
- 17:55Speaker 3: or attack US facilities or personnel. In the hours after
- 18:00Speaker 3: the strike in Damascus, that is, the Biden administration reached
- 18:05Speaker 3: out to Iran directly to assure Tehrod that the US
- 18:08Speaker 3: was not involved and did not have advanced knowledge of
- 18:11Speaker 3: the strike. So, in other words, this is what the
- 18:12Speaker 3: Biden administration does in the middle of the war.
- 18:14Speaker 1: What do they do?
- 18:15Speaker 3: They call Iran and they're like, oh, we're sorry, We're sorry,
- 18:17Speaker 3: We're sorry.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Mind you.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Iran is funding Hamas, is effectively waging war with Israel.
- 18:22Speaker 3: And what is Biden doing calling Iran and apologizing and
- 18:25Speaker 3: also allowing an open border with an invitation for anyone
- 18:30Speaker 3: with ill intent to come into this country.
- 18:32Speaker 2: We also know that Iran, through their proxies have been
- 18:35Speaker 2: targeting American interests in the Middle East, and yet we
- 18:38Speaker 2: still call and say, hey, don't worry, we weren't involved
- 18:40Speaker 2: in this.
- 18:41Speaker 1: What message is that said to them?
- 18:42Speaker 2: They can do whatever they want in the Middle East
- 18:44Speaker 2: and America won't respond.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Now, sadly, that's exactly the message that Joe Biden is
- 18:49Speaker 3: sending every day. Iran is discovering they can attack Americans,
- 18:53Speaker 3: they can murder Americans, they can attack over and over
- 18:56Speaker 3: and over again, and the Biden administration not only no response,
- 19:00Speaker 3: the Biden administration's response will be here have billions of dollars.
- 19:04Speaker 3: It is bizarre. It ought to be an incredibly simple principle,
- 19:09Speaker 3: don't give money to people who want to kill you.
- 19:12Speaker 3: And I'll add an addendum to that, who are actively
- 19:15Speaker 3: trying to kill you. And yet Biden and the Democrats
- 19:19Speaker 3: keeps shoveling cash more and more to Iran. And by
- 19:23Speaker 3: the way, Iran is still selling two million barrels a
- 19:27Speaker 3: day of oil because Joe Biden refuses to enforce the
- 19:30Speaker 3: oil sanctions that's funding the regime.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I want you to explain this even more because this
- 19:37Speaker 2: is something I think many in the media have refused
- 19:40Speaker 2: to cover and tell the truth about this. We have
- 19:43Speaker 2: sanctions right now, yes, are in place on Iranian oil
- 19:47Speaker 2: that have been in place for quite some time. And
- 19:50Speaker 2: the only difference is this administration. They have not officially
- 19:54Speaker 2: lifted the sanctions. The sanctions are technically still there in
- 19:58Speaker 2: name only, but we're allowing them to export the oil.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Is that the easiest way to explain it to everyone listening.
- 20:04Speaker 3: No, that's exactly right, And let's review the bidding Let's
- 20:08Speaker 3: do a little bit of history on Iranian oil sales.
- 20:11Speaker 3: So if you go back to the Trump administration, there
- 20:13Speaker 3: was a big battle in the Trump administration. Within the
- 20:16Speaker 3: administration about whether to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal,
- 20:20Speaker 3: the Obama deal, which was a terrible deal. Both the
- 20:23Speaker 3: State Department and the Defense Department said no, do not
- 20:26Speaker 3: pull out of the deal. I strongly disagreed. I went
- 20:30Speaker 3: to President Trump repeatedly, over and over and over again
- 20:34Speaker 3: and argued, this deal was catastrophic, it was endangering America,
- 20:37Speaker 3: it was bad, and the President agreed with me. President
- 20:41Speaker 3: Trump overruled his own Secretary of State, overruled his own
- 20:45Speaker 3: Secretary Defense. He pulled out of the Iran deal. Now,
- 20:49Speaker 3: once he pulled out of the deal, there were still
- 20:52Speaker 3: significant components of the deal that remained in a place,
- 20:56Speaker 3: and the most significant was what was called the oil waivers.
- 20:59Speaker 3: The oil waivers allowed Iran to sell oil and that
- 21:04Speaker 3: was the major source of funding for the regime. I
- 21:08Speaker 3: began then arguing to President Trump, we needed to end
- 21:12Speaker 3: the oil waiver. There was again a fight within the
- 21:15Speaker 3: Trump administration on this question. At this time, the lines
- 21:18Speaker 3: were a little bit different. You had State arguing no,
- 21:22Speaker 3: do not end the oil waivers. You had Energy, the
- 21:25Speaker 3: Department of Energy saying yes, end the oil waivers. This
- 21:29Speaker 3: was Mike Pompeo had just started a Secretary of State,
- 21:32Speaker 3: and the State Department was arguing, if we end the
- 21:35Speaker 3: oil waiver on Iran, the effect will be that the
- 21:38Speaker 3: price of oil will skyrocket, the price of gasoline will skyrocket.
- 21:43Speaker 3: The Department of Energy chimed in, and you would think
- 21:45Speaker 3: that Apartment of Energy has some expertise in energy. They said, no,
- 21:50Speaker 3: that's ridiculous. There's plenty of global supply of oil. We
- 21:53Speaker 3: can end the oil waiver and it's not going to
- 21:55Speaker 3: cause prices to skyrocket. Again, I leaned in vigorously. I
- 22:01Speaker 3: urged President Trump end the oil waivers. State's wrong, Energy's right. Well,
- 22:08Speaker 3: President Trump again agreed with me, overruled his own secretary
- 22:13Speaker 3: of State. He ended the oil waivers. At the time
- 22:15Speaker 3: he did that, Iran was selling roughly one million barrels
- 22:20Speaker 3: a day of oil, so that was their major revenue source.
- 22:23Speaker 3: We ended the oil waivers, and we now know who
- 22:26Speaker 3: was right. Energy was right and State was wrong. Because
- 22:29Speaker 3: we ended the oil waivers and the global price barely moved.
- 22:33Speaker 3: It had negligible impact on price, There was plenty of supply.
- 22:37Speaker 3: What it did have an impact on is it devastated
- 22:41Speaker 3: the Iranian economy and their oil sales dropped from one
- 22:45Speaker 3: million barrels a day to about three hundred thousand barrels
- 22:49Speaker 3: a day. And so when Joe Biden came into office,
- 22:52Speaker 3: the Iranian economy was in shambles. The effect of those
- 22:57Speaker 3: oil sanctions were crushing, and all Joe Biden had to
- 23:02Speaker 3: do was not screw it up. But understand that Biden
- 23:06Speaker 3: and the Democrats, their number one foreign policy objective is
- 23:10Speaker 3: getting a new nuclear deal with Iran, and bizarrely they
- 23:15Speaker 3: prioritize this over everything. So Biden almost immediately stopped in
- 23:22Speaker 3: forcing the oil sanctions, just just kind of look the
- 23:25Speaker 3: other way. And so what happens is Iran has a
- 23:28Speaker 3: ghost fleet of tankers that they send oil mostly to
- 23:33Speaker 3: communists China. China buys it and it funds Iran. Biden
- 23:36Speaker 3: came in, Iran is selling three hundred thousand barrels a day. Today,
- 23:42Speaker 3: Iran is selling two million barrels of oil a day. Wow,
- 23:48Speaker 3: more than double what they were doing before we ended
- 23:51Speaker 3: the oil waiver. And they're using that that has been
- 23:55Speaker 3: upwards of eighty billion dollars that Joe Biden has given
- 23:59Speaker 3: a theocratic, homicidal, genocidal maniac, that is the Ayatola who
- 24:05Speaker 3: pledges death to America, and right now he's pledging to
- 24:09Speaker 3: retaliate directly. And yet Joe Biden continues to this day
- 24:15Speaker 3: not to enforce the oil sanctions.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Last question for you on this, why do you believe
- 24:21Speaker 2: he refuses to enforce them. Is it just political ideology,
- 24:24Speaker 2: Is it he's compromised in some way, or is it
- 24:27Speaker 2: he's just completely ignorant to the threat that Iran is
- 24:30Speaker 2: to the world's stability, including to Israel as well as America.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I think the ideology of the Biden White House and
- 24:38Speaker 3: the Biden State Department in many ways, this White House
- 24:42Speaker 3: doesn't have a foreign policy that they have a domestic
- 24:47Speaker 3: policy writ large, so they broadcast out to the world.
- 24:52Speaker 3: They divide the world into blue countries and red countries.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And red countries are those countries that wanted to be
- 25:00Speaker 3: friends with America when Donald Trump was president, and blue
- 25:05Speaker 3: countries are those countries that hated America when Donald Trump
- 25:09Speaker 3: was president. And the entirety of the Biden foreign policy
- 25:13Speaker 3: is to undermine, to alienate, to weaken the red countries,
- 25:20Speaker 3: and to acquiesce, to appease to and send billions of
- 25:26Speaker 3: dollars to the blue country. So the reddest country of
- 25:29Speaker 3: all is Israel. It's why Biden systematically undermines Israel. Other
- 25:33Speaker 3: red countries include the United Kingdom, that include nations like Brazil.
- 25:39Speaker 3: When you had Bolsonara was very pro pro America. What
- 25:43Speaker 3: happened the Biden administration undermined him and they got Lula
- 25:46Speaker 3: radical leftists to hate America. Colombia was another red country.
- 25:49Speaker 3: We had a very strong pro American ally in Ivon Duque.
- 25:53Speaker 3: The Biden White House undermined Duque. We ended up with
- 25:57Speaker 3: now an anti American leftist Petro who again hates America. Guatemala,
- 26:03Speaker 3: Guatemala we had, we had the president of Guatemala was
- 26:06Speaker 3: strongly allied with the United States. As soon as he left,
- 26:09Speaker 3: the Biden administration imposed sanctions on the outgoing president of Guatemala.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Who are the blue countries, Well, there are lots of
- 26:16Speaker 3: blue countries. Uh, You've got China's a blue country, Russia,
- 26:19Speaker 3: Russia's a blue country. North Korea is a blue country.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Venezuela is a blue country. But the bluest of all
- 26:25Speaker 3: blue countries is Iran. The Biden administration that they they
- 26:31Speaker 3: view this it's almost like religious their obsession with a
- 26:37Speaker 3: new nuclear deal with Iran, and they're willing to bend
- 26:41Speaker 3: over backwards no matter what.
- 26:43Speaker 6: You know.
- 26:43Speaker 3: I'm reminded there was a political cartoon when when John
- 26:47Speaker 3: Kerry was Secretary of State Obama was president, and it
- 26:51Speaker 3: had the Iyatolas saying death to America, and it had
- 26:54Speaker 3: John Kerry saying, can we meet you halfway? That's the
- 26:58Speaker 3: view of this White House. They're naive, they're ignorant, and
- 27:02Speaker 3: they want to shove billions of dollars to Iran even
- 27:06Speaker 3: while they're actively trying to murder Americans and funding the
- 27:10Speaker 3: war in Israel.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I want to talk to you about what you can
- 27:12Speaker 2: do to help people in Israel. Right now, we all
- 27:16Speaker 2: know about the atrocities that were committed by Hamaslaks last
- 27:19Speaker 2: October the seventh, which kicked off a vicious war as
- 27:23Speaker 2: Israel is defending herself from terrorists now on every side.
- 27:27Speaker 2: The toll on the Israeli people is real, it is staggering,
- 27:30Speaker 2: and it's massive. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have been
- 27:34Speaker 2: forced from their homes. Entire communities torn apart, lives have
- 27:38Speaker 2: been devastated by death and destruction and war. The International
- 27:42Speaker 2: Fellowship of Christian and Jews, known as IFCJ, is right
- 27:46Speaker 2: there in the middle of it. Each and every day
- 27:49Speaker 2: they are distributing right now critical essentials like food, medicine,
- 27:54Speaker 2: and emergency supplies for hundreds of thousands of suffering Jews
- 27:58Speaker 2: that have been displaced. The need is great and that's
- 28:01Speaker 2: why I am partnering with IFCJ today and I want
- 28:05Speaker 2: you to get involved in help. I want you to
- 28:08Speaker 2: visit support IFCJ dot org to help. Every donation is
- 28:15Speaker 2: urgently need to help the people of Israel. A lot
- 28:17Speaker 2: of people have said, how can I help? This is
- 28:19Speaker 2: how you can help to give the International Fellowship of
- 28:22Speaker 2: Christian and Jews. All you have to do is go
- 28:24Speaker 2: to support IFCJ dot org and give as generously as
- 28:28Speaker 2: you can, because your gift will be matched to double
- 28:31Speaker 2: in impact and help provide twice the support right now. Again,
- 28:36Speaker 2: that's support IFCJ dot org. Support IFCJ dot org. Thank
- 28:42Speaker 2: you and God bless Senator. Let's talk about this shocking
- 28:46Speaker 2: new data that's come out, a warning that came from
- 28:50Speaker 2: you on this show, and I want to play that
- 28:52Speaker 2: in a moment, but I want to get to the
- 28:54Speaker 2: headline here. There are two things right now that are
- 28:56Speaker 2: worrying many Americans. Number one, it's bid nomics. It is
- 29:00Speaker 2: a disaster right now. We are seeing even top Biden
- 29:04Speaker 2: economic advisor bragged about gas prices, which are up fifty
- 29:09Speaker 2: percent since Biden took office, saying, quote, we are pleased
- 29:13Speaker 2: that gas prices have come down. Now the media is
- 29:15Speaker 2: allowing them to lie, and the American people are not
- 29:19Speaker 2: going to fall for this. I don't believe. But take
- 29:20Speaker 2: a listen to this. This is coming from the White House,
- 29:23Speaker 2: from the Biden team trying to convince Americans that, hey,
- 29:26Speaker 2: you're paying less of the pump right now than ever.
- 29:29Speaker 1: You should be excited.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Oh important for American families and a big focus of
- 29:35Speaker 6: President Biden. We are pleased that gas prices have come
- 29:39Speaker 6: down by a dollar forty relative to that peak that
- 29:43Speaker 6: was caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. But as you say,
- 29:48Speaker 6: we are watching carefully to make sure that those gas
- 29:52Speaker 6: prices that the pump don't go up.
- 29:54Speaker 2: To Now, Senator, that's just a lie that gas prices
- 29:58Speaker 2: are not down.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Anyone that goes the pump knows this.
- 30:01Speaker 2: We also know now that grocery prices are nearing forty
- 30:04Speaker 2: percent higher than they were in twenty nineteen. And to
- 30:08Speaker 2: add insult to injury, we're now being told, on top
- 30:11Speaker 2: of all of that that's hurting the middle class, there's
- 30:14Speaker 2: now going to be more than ever IRS agents that
- 30:18Speaker 2: are targeting specifically middle class Americans, with more audits than
- 30:23Speaker 2: ever before.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Well, that's exactly right.
- 30:26Speaker 3: First of all, in terms of prices, you know, they're
- 30:29Speaker 3: crowing about that that they say gasoline prices are lower
- 30:33Speaker 3: than the worst they were under Biden, but they're still
- 30:36Speaker 3: up fifty one percent from where they were under Trump.
- 30:39Speaker 3: By the way, overall prices are up eighteen point six percent.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Real average weekly earnings are down four point two percent.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Real average weekly warnings earnings were up eight point two
- 30:50Speaker 3: percent under Trump. And in the month of March zero
- 30:53Speaker 3: new manufacturing jobs were added. And so look, the economy
- 30:57Speaker 3: is hurting mightily. And then you put on top of
- 31:00Speaker 3: that the IRS is doing actually what we predicted on
- 31:05Speaker 3: this podcast is targeting the middle class. The Wall Street
- 31:09Speaker 3: Journal wrote that wrote just a few days ago, quote
- 31:13Speaker 3: the internal Revenue Service got an audit of its own
- 31:15Speaker 3: in time for tax Day, and two irregularities jump out.
- 31:19Speaker 3: President Biden's plan to hire a new army of tax
- 31:21Speaker 3: collectors is falling flat, and the agents already at work
- 31:25Speaker 3: are targeting the middle class. Those are the two findings
- 31:30Speaker 3: of the IRS's watchdog, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.
- 31:34Speaker 3: The most recent data suggests the IRS is still focused
- 31:39Speaker 3: on the middle class. As of last summer, sixty three
- 31:43Speaker 3: percent of new audits targeted taxpayers with incomes of less
- 31:49Speaker 3: than two hundred thousand dollars. Only a small overall share
- 31:54Speaker 3: reached the very highest earners, while eighty percent of the
- 31:58Speaker 3: audits covered earning less than one million dollars.
- 32:02Speaker 1: And as the Wall.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Street Journal urge, as you don't forget to save those
- 32:06Speaker 3: charitable giving receipts. This is exactly opposite what Joe Biden
- 32:13Speaker 3: promised the American people. But it's what we knew was
- 32:15Speaker 3: going to happen. They were going to use the new
- 32:18Speaker 3: agents to go after the middle class. That's exactly what
- 32:21Speaker 3: they're doing.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Let me just remind people of what you said on
- 32:24Speaker 2: the show, and this was quite some time ago. Here
- 32:26Speaker 2: is the warning when we said it here early on
- 32:29Speaker 2: that they're going to come after average Americans, not just
- 32:32Speaker 2: the elites, as they were claiming.
- 32:33Speaker 3: For Good Friday in Easter, the IRS released the news.
- 32:36Speaker 3: They did it as a news dump going into the
- 32:39Speaker 3: holiday because they didn't want people to pay attention to it.
- 32:43Speaker 3: That they are right now hiring the first thirty thousand
- 32:46Speaker 3: of those employees. Ten thousand of them are being hired
- 32:50Speaker 3: in the current fiscal year, and in fiscal year twenty
- 32:53Speaker 3: twenty four they're planning to double that with twenty seven
- 32:57Speaker 3: thousand new hires. Now, now, what does that need, Well,
- 33:02Speaker 3: let's go through a lot of different elements. The long
- 33:05Speaker 3: and short of it is, it means a whole bunch
- 33:07Speaker 3: more IRS employees there to harass you, to harass citizens,
- 33:11Speaker 3: to rass small businesses, to harass and target the political
- 33:15Speaker 3: enemies of the Biden White House.
- 33:18Speaker 2: But Senator, you look at that warning, and you look
- 33:21Speaker 2: at what you mentioned right beforehand about prices that have skyrocketed,
- 33:26Speaker 2: the costs of goods and services are up, manufacturing jobs
- 33:29Speaker 2: that are down, and there has to be a moment,
- 33:33Speaker 2: I would argue of reckoning with the average American voter
- 33:36Speaker 2: where they look at this administration, and they sit there
- 33:39Speaker 2: and they stare at you in the face. They say, no, no,
- 33:41Speaker 2: gas prices are good, and the American people have to know, no,
- 33:44Speaker 2: that's not true. When they say, oh no, no, the
- 33:46Speaker 2: price at the grocery store, they're.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Not that bad.
- 33:48Speaker 2: They've got to have a moment where they say, no, no, no,
- 33:50Speaker 2: we don't believe you anymore. You travel a lot, you
- 33:54Speaker 2: talk to a lot of people on the state of Texas.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I don't believe that the American people are going to
- 33:59Speaker 2: being boozled by this much longer.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Look, I think the American people know that that Bidenomics
- 34:05Speaker 3: is a mess. And in fact, you see the Biden
- 34:07Speaker 3: White House backing away from using that term Bidenomics because
- 34:11Speaker 3: they thought it was a good thing and they discovered
- 34:14Speaker 3: oh wait, people think it's a terrible thing.
- 34:16Speaker 1: That that's it.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Listen to anyone who's paying the bills, anyone who goes
- 34:22Speaker 3: to the grocery store, anyone who fills up their tank
- 34:24Speaker 3: at the pump, anyone who deals with health care cost,
- 34:28Speaker 3: electricity costs, rent, mortgages. I'll tell you, young people, I
- 34:33Speaker 3: think one of the real most potent things is young
- 34:35Speaker 3: people buying their first home a young married couple. They're
- 34:40Speaker 3: suddenly discovering they can get about half as much house
- 34:43Speaker 3: as they thought they could get, because a few years ago,
- 34:45Speaker 3: when you had mortgage rates at at two and a
- 34:48Speaker 3: half percent, you could get actually a pretty big, pretty
- 34:51Speaker 3: you know, a nice three bedroom house, a backyard, a
- 34:54Speaker 3: swing And suddenly young people are discovering, holy cow, what
- 34:59Speaker 3: I thought I could have Ford is now out of reach.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you're absolutely right.
- 35:03Speaker 2: This is going to be a top issue certainly going
- 35:05Speaker 2: into this big election November. And I hope that conservatives
- 35:09Speaker 2: all of the country just tell the truth, and I
- 35:11Speaker 2: hope that the media will start covering it. They're still
- 35:13Speaker 2: covering and you could hear it in those headlines. You
- 35:15Speaker 2: can hear it in the audio. They will allow them
- 35:17Speaker 2: to lie on national TV to your face about how
- 35:20Speaker 2: great things are when they know compared to where they
- 35:22Speaker 2: were in twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, it is a disaster.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Don't forget Center. Cruise and I do the show with
- 35:27Speaker 2: you every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have a weekend
