- 1:34Speaker 1: all natural and original recipe, powerful flavor and bursting spicy
- 1:39Speaker 1: tato sauce. I have tried that, the smoke flavor, the
- 1:43Speaker 1: Hotley Swedish smoky sauce, and the Radish kick. I'm gonna
- 1:46Speaker 1: tell you something. If you Radish is like man, that's
- 1:50Speaker 1: that's a that's a flavor of people are sleeping on
- 1:52Speaker 1: that radish flame that's in that cocktail sauce. Now you
- 1:55Speaker 1: can find her products and safe weight I'm just naming
- 1:57Speaker 1: a few because she's everywhere Safe Way, Food Line, Whole
- 2:01Speaker 1: Food Markets, wal Mart, Kroger's, and many many more. Please
- 2:06Speaker 1: work with the money making conversation. Now that she's listening
- 2:09Speaker 1: to me, Tiffany kay Hotly McDonald, how's you doing. I'm
- 2:17Speaker 1: doing fantastic. And first of all, where are you at
- 2:19Speaker 1: and where you based? I'm based out of maryl in
- 2:23Speaker 1: PG County. That's a Prince George. Prince George. She talk
- 2:28Speaker 1: like everybody knows PG. She just said that just like
- 2:31Speaker 1: it was do this normal Maryland, PG County. I'm glad
- 2:37Speaker 1: I'm a world traveler. Tiffany. We're gonna get through this
- 2:39Speaker 1: interview because you are very special, your entrepreneur. Let me
- 2:42Speaker 1: just tell you about my experience because I ain't when
- 2:44Speaker 1: people you know, come on my show, they send books
- 2:47Speaker 1: and you know, and and we fake like we got
- 2:50Speaker 1: a relationship. No, she sent me her products. First of all,
- 2:53Speaker 1: she sent me a products. Okay, so that that was
- 2:56Speaker 1: a good sign. Because I was talking to Samantha, one
- 2:58Speaker 1: of my producers. I said, I'm not gonna get any
- 3:00Speaker 1: product where I got it on Friday. This is what
- 3:04Speaker 1: I did. This is what I did. So you know
- 3:06Speaker 1: the seafood, right, So so first I went to the
- 3:10Speaker 1: store to see and I thought about frying me up
- 3:13Speaker 1: to shrimps. Right. That was work. Yeah, because this I did,
- 3:21Speaker 1: We're gonna go too good. I mean that I don't
- 3:23Speaker 1: fry much. So I went to Papa Does. I went
- 3:26Speaker 1: to Papa Does and Papa Does. I loved their shrimp
- 3:30Speaker 1: poll bar. They have a shrimp pole bar and Papa
- 3:33Speaker 1: Does and every time they go in there, I tell
- 3:36Speaker 1: them to lay on the tartar sauce. Well guess what
- 3:38Speaker 1: I told them, hold the tatter sauce this time, baby,
- 3:42Speaker 1: because I brought my pull my little jar out. Dude
- 3:45Speaker 1: looking way to look at me like I was crazy. Hey,
- 3:47Speaker 1: don't worry about it, brother, I got my own taller sauce.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Did I ordered me some cocktails, some shrimp cocktails. I said,
- 3:54Speaker 1: hold a dipping sauce. Pulled out my other little jaw.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So I'm sitting there. I'm in there at the table
- 4:02Speaker 1: waiting and ready to go. Girl. I had a great time.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Your sauces are tremendous. I'm telling everybody firsthand. I went
- 4:11Speaker 1: in there. I just slapped that tatle sauce on there.
- 4:14Speaker 1: With my. I always asked for tomatoes. I would say,
- 4:17Speaker 1: I want tomatoes with my Just be real with you,
- 4:19Speaker 1: that's how I eat. You have a great product, tell
- 4:25Speaker 1: us how you got started from your you know, just
- 4:28Speaker 1: two breaks here, So I want you to take your
- 4:30Speaker 1: time because you're on inspiration. Walter Nash hooked us up
- 4:34Speaker 1: because he said, you gotta talk to her because the
- 4:36Speaker 1: story needs to be told to everybody in the world,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and this is the first step. You should do more interviews.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Tell us about your products. Okay, So I got started.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Originally I was making the sauce in my chitchen because
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm a seaful eater, so I didn't like to dip
- 4:53Speaker 1: it in vinegar or butter. So I concocted some things
- 4:56Speaker 1: that were in the refrigerator and it became a hit
- 4:59Speaker 1: with FA and friends. So your refrigerator and started making
- 5:03Speaker 1: up stuff that was it. Yeah, I went a little
- 5:07Speaker 1: catch up little man name exactly, and it turned out
- 5:12Speaker 1: to be a blessing from God because then my friends
- 5:15Speaker 1: and family they loved it, and they kept coming back
- 5:18Speaker 1: for when they went to different events. So they were
- 5:20Speaker 1: having a company. And so from there I heard the
- 5:23Speaker 1: spirited Lord sayble didn't sell it, and I was like duh,
- 5:26Speaker 1: because I didn't have any intent for it to become
- 5:29Speaker 1: a company. It was just it was pleasing to me
- 5:32Speaker 1: as well as my friends. Again, and from there I
- 5:35Speaker 1: began petition in grocery stores, and obviously I did it
- 5:38Speaker 1: wrong initially, um kind of you went from in your
- 5:45Speaker 1: kitchen messing around your refrigerator, now you're in grocery store.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Like that's a step between that now because you know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: because the getting your product, did you start selling it
- 5:56Speaker 1: affairs and local places? You do? How did you got
- 6:00Speaker 1: Did you get the point that you could sell this
- 6:02Speaker 1: and make money off of it? When did that come
- 6:04Speaker 1: into your head in sales? Yes, sir, the initial sales
- 6:08Speaker 1: from family and friends coming through here with kitchen and
- 6:10Speaker 1: there tupperware dishes, so I would start selling five dollars
- 6:14Speaker 1: to them like that. So then I went around to
- 6:16Speaker 1: the seafood market and with my tupperware dish, which was
- 6:19Speaker 1: wrong because you know you've got to be FDA proved
- 6:21Speaker 1: and all this kind of stuff. But mart you going
- 6:26Speaker 1: around a tuplewere dish, try to get somebody and sale
- 6:32Speaker 1: all the truth here, all true tupaware dish. So I
- 6:34Speaker 1: went through this one piece of ventral avenue, and I
- 6:38Speaker 1: and which in him and I knew each other because
- 6:41Speaker 1: I frequent them for his craft. He said was tipically,
- 6:44Speaker 1: if you get it in the right kind of jar,
- 6:47Speaker 1: then I'll sell it for you because it is good.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So from there I researched. You have to mask craft.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's extremely important. I researched on how to bottle, how
- 6:58Speaker 1: to label, and I would go in grocery stores and
- 7:01Speaker 1: I would look at them, the labels and seeing, well,
- 7:04Speaker 1: where's the distributor, where's the manufactor, just to get some
- 7:07Speaker 1: sort of idea, because I honestly had no knowledge of it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And and from there I petitioned Johnny. I got some jars,
- 7:15Speaker 1: and I got the wrong kind of jars. Again, I
- 7:17Speaker 1: did it wrong, sent the product and Giant, and Giant said, man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: we're not eating this. This isn't great. We're not no,
- 7:24Speaker 1: this isn't right. And then here comes Walter Nation and
- 7:33Speaker 1: the rest is her story. Yep, and I got in. Um.
- 7:38Speaker 1: So I was local for a long time. Um first
- 7:40Speaker 1: about eight years of really nine years, I was local,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and we just got um, we just got national attention.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So oh Lord, thank you God. So yeah, now now no,
- 7:53Speaker 1: not Tiffany. First of all, we stopped walking around, okay,
- 7:56Speaker 1: because in and out, you know, I need you to
- 7:58Speaker 1: stay station there. So stay clear. Now, you bought the
- 8:03Speaker 1: wrong jars, You had the wrong label, did you? Were
- 8:07Speaker 1: you working with the local SPA? Who are you working with?
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just curious because it's called money making conversations,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and I tried to own this show let people hear
- 8:17Speaker 1: how success stories are being built and so so you
- 8:22Speaker 1: were just out there googling. You're out there going in
- 8:25Speaker 1: grocery stores reading labels, so you was at them. So
- 8:29Speaker 1: so you just just doing this on your own, yes, sir, Yes, sir,
- 8:34Speaker 1: researching and I really really had the master the craft
- 8:38Speaker 1: as far as so when I went in the grocery store,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I would look at a certain label and one thing
- 8:42Speaker 1: would lead you to another. So I looked at the
- 8:45Speaker 1: label and it said it was distributed. Let's say in Philadelphia.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I called that company, and that company gave you more
- 8:52Speaker 1: information to get you to to another company. It was
- 8:55Speaker 1: really myself. It was self taught. Now would you recommend
- 9:01Speaker 1: that to uh someone listening to the show right now?
- 9:06Speaker 1: I think that you have to until you can gain
- 9:09Speaker 1: the knowledge and the wisdom to run a business or
- 9:13Speaker 1: a company. You have to do whenever it takes. You
- 9:16Speaker 1: have to persevere, you have to push every day. You
- 9:19Speaker 1: have to do something to contribute to your success. Uh,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you need to get a minute or That was very
- 9:25Speaker 1: instrumental for me is having a mentor. And you have
- 9:28Speaker 1: to listen since to advice. And I'm very receptive to
- 9:37Speaker 1: um to. You know when fok are trying to teach
- 9:39Speaker 1: me something. Now, now I consider the Money Making Conversation
- 9:46Speaker 1: a mentoring show because it's about information, it's about and
- 9:50Speaker 1: that's why when the opportunity to bring you on because
- 9:53Speaker 1: now you know you have three brands okay in stores. Okay, Yes,
- 9:58Speaker 1: that's incredible to me because of the fact McDonald. Let's
- 10:02Speaker 1: talk about this a little bit because I want this
- 10:05Speaker 1: let everybody know how a dream can start started in
- 10:08Speaker 1: your kitchen. It started with you, you you know, mix because
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm mixing the matching different flavors that you like, and
- 10:13Speaker 1: go put this on this fish, or put this on
- 10:16Speaker 1: this trump, or put this on this and then then
- 10:19Speaker 1: then then you said, then you started trying to sell it,
- 10:22Speaker 1: and you realize there are rules that you have to
- 10:26Speaker 1: ride by in order to people assue you if you
- 10:29Speaker 1: get sick or they refused to sell it, but they
- 10:32Speaker 1: think youre from walking to the sauce and you're in
- 10:35Speaker 1: the jaw top of talking about can you sell this?
- 10:39Speaker 1: You know? Because that but you didn't know. And there's
- 10:42Speaker 1: a lot of people. They get frustrated one because they
- 10:45Speaker 1: don't want to follow the rules. They think the system.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You got to follow the rules, people, Yes, you have to.
- 10:54Speaker 1: You can't steal things out of your kitchen, you know
- 10:58Speaker 1: and expect not to get in trouble. You have to
- 11:00Speaker 1: have an FD approved kitchen, commercial kitchen. You have to
- 11:03Speaker 1: have certain preservatives in your in your products to extend
- 11:07Speaker 1: the shelf life and to keep back cheerier down. All
- 11:10Speaker 1: those things are part of the journey of learning. Wow,
- 11:15Speaker 1: like a long way from that kitchen, isn't it? Oh yes, sir,
- 11:19Speaker 1: guess what we're gonna hear more? Don't go in the
- 11:21Speaker 1: world tiffically, and to stay where you at tifty. You've
- 11:24Speaker 1: been moving around a little bit. I've been dropping your board,
- 11:26Speaker 1: your boys have been dropping out because I want people
- 11:28Speaker 1: to hear your story, and I get frustrated listening to
- 11:30Speaker 1: it because you're amazing and first of all. I'm a fan.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I'm a fan. You're listening to money making conversation. Keep winning, everybody,
- 11:37Speaker 1: We'll be right back. Hi. This ra Sean McDonald. We're listening,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and you're listening to not weird listening. You're listening to
- 11:47Speaker 1: money making conversations. I just asked to make mistakes on
- 11:49Speaker 1: the radio like that, Man, just freak me out. Gotta
- 11:52Speaker 1: be articking it all the time. You can't make mistakes
- 11:54Speaker 1: with you. You gotta be able to not slur words.
- 11:57Speaker 1: People need to understand who you are. Man. Hey, brother,
- 12:01Speaker 1: this was Sean McDonald. You're listening to money making conversation. Tiffany,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you're still there from Maryland b G Prisons. George. Hey, Tiffany,
- 12:13Speaker 1: thank you for calling in on my show. Because you're
- 12:15Speaker 1: an inspiration. You're entrepreneur, you're female, and you took an
- 12:19Speaker 1: idea and I just gotta keep bringing this back to people.
- 12:22Speaker 1: She was just messing around in her kitchen all right,
- 12:27Speaker 1: mixing up flavors to just improve the quality of food
- 12:31Speaker 1: that she liked to cook. Correct. I mean, like I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was just throwing out an example. Like sometimes I mess
- 12:38Speaker 1: I because I love catchup and sometimes but a little
- 12:41Speaker 1: catch up with a little hot sauce and that bad
- 12:43Speaker 1: boy and sometimes I mix a little less you know,
- 12:46Speaker 1: you know that the salad dressing that has the pickles
- 12:48Speaker 1: and all that, and I mixed that in there and something.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I just spread that on the sandwich. And you know,
- 12:54Speaker 1: my family looked at me like I'm crazy, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 1: because I'm also crazy because sometimes I put an actual
- 12:59Speaker 1: cookie on my sand which so I put chips on
- 13:02Speaker 1: my famis. I used to do that as a child
- 13:08Speaker 1: and different You're so one thing. Before we left on
- 13:14Speaker 1: that last break, you really got really serious and I
- 13:17Speaker 1: was happy to hear that about the rules of that
- 13:20Speaker 1: you have to abide by just because you have a
- 13:22Speaker 1: good idea in this case food products. Reiterate what you
- 13:26Speaker 1: was talking about when you when you went out there
- 13:28Speaker 1: and you realized, because that's what stops a lot of
- 13:30Speaker 1: people because why guys has been money now or they
- 13:34Speaker 1: don't want to claim racism, they're claim a lot of
- 13:38Speaker 1: their claim of sexism. They claim a lot of excuses.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But there are rules that you have to buy by.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Please talk about that. So you're you're absolutely correct to
- 13:48Speaker 1: Ms McDonald as far as the rules and food which
- 13:52Speaker 1: should be um, what should be very much so respective
- 13:55Speaker 1: because I mean, again, you're feeding someone they could just sick.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Bottom line, you know, BacT really grows every seven seconds
- 14:02Speaker 1: on food and even quicker on food that's not properly handled.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So at that point, you know you have to go
- 14:08Speaker 1: through FDA. You gotta you know, get a chemist. You
- 14:10Speaker 1: need to you know, be in a commercialized kitchen really,
- 14:13Speaker 1: so a copack or a manufactor you know, you can't
- 14:17Speaker 1: you can't expect where you say, folkous think it's racism
- 14:20Speaker 1: or they're think, you know whatever it may be um
- 14:23Speaker 1: prejudicing whatever form of fashion. But you can't really get
- 14:26Speaker 1: into that because you're not an attractive company. You're not
- 14:29Speaker 1: you know, you you haven't met the standard, so and
- 14:31Speaker 1: that you're not going to be picked up by investors
- 14:34Speaker 1: or you know whomever or grocery stores. In my case,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I had to get to the point, you know, if
- 14:39Speaker 1: that's what you want, then I had to trust the journey,
- 14:42Speaker 1: be persevere, and I had to just continue down the
- 14:45Speaker 1: process and know that at the end, if if if
- 14:48Speaker 1: I do my part, and I know that God is
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to take you even further. Now me as you did,
- 14:54Speaker 1: which you know, it's like you know, It's like, what
- 14:57Speaker 1: story did you get in first that you would No,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you did that. You did the happy dance? You know
- 15:03Speaker 1: happy which store made you do the real big happy dance?
- 15:07Speaker 1: So I know all your great story. First of all,
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm not slamming any store, okay, but you know there's
- 15:12Speaker 1: always there's always one story you get in when you
- 15:15Speaker 1: know you turned that corner. So now I want to
- 15:19Speaker 1: start from the beginning, the first half chance into now
- 15:22Speaker 1: and I'm doing another happy dance. Okay, cool, Okay. So
- 15:25Speaker 1: the first one was Wagman to get in Wagman and
- 15:28Speaker 1: be a part of Danny Wagman's empire. Oh my gosh,
- 15:34Speaker 1: it was everything to me. So and that was on
- 15:37Speaker 1: the local level, right. So I walked in there, I
- 15:40Speaker 1: spoke to the manager. You liked the product, and that's
- 15:43Speaker 1: that's all you did. You just walked in. All I did.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I walked in. I walked in, and I took I
- 15:50Speaker 1: took the jars in and I spoke with the head
- 15:53Speaker 1: manager and she said, she said yes, she said, it's
- 15:58Speaker 1: a great product. She called it the Inn, the street disruptor.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She said, there's nothing out there like this. We want it.
- 16:05Speaker 1: That was my That was the very first happy dance. Okay,
- 16:11Speaker 1: my happy dad. Okay, it's me. I love all my
- 16:15Speaker 1: grocery stores because I know about is a listener. Absolutely,
- 16:19Speaker 1: Abste that was your first just pick out like now,
- 16:26Speaker 1: when you walked into grocery store and saw your product
- 16:29Speaker 1: on this shell? What was that feeling like because y'all
- 16:33Speaker 1: know you look. I know you went and looked. I
- 16:34Speaker 1: knew you. I did, I did, I did. I'm a
- 16:37Speaker 1: mystery shopper, my own product. Um when I when I
- 16:41Speaker 1: go in it and I see it, I think I
- 16:43Speaker 1: think I'm dreaming and and I'm I think I'm dreaming.
- 16:47Speaker 1: That is not reality. Like I don't believe it myself.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I think he was talking to you on his phone
- 16:54Speaker 1: right now, like I think I'm probably sleeping. I'm gonna
- 16:56Speaker 1: wake up and I'm gonna say, mom, you know I
- 16:58Speaker 1: talked to Mr McDonald. Mr McDonald interviewed me like I
- 17:01Speaker 1: don't believe my life. Yeah, we'll look here. You ain't sleeping, girl, Okay,
- 17:06Speaker 1: you're talking to Mr McDonald. Mr McDonald. Ain't your product
- 17:10Speaker 1: this Sunday and Papa does only ball you. Ask my
- 17:17Speaker 1: wife if she was sitting right next to she'll tell you,
- 17:19Speaker 1: right now when I go on the Papa do you
- 17:21Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna order? Oh, hes gonna get that
- 17:23Speaker 1: pole ball with them French fries tell Mrs McDonald's she
- 17:28Speaker 1: will never be without hunting. Well, she's never tried it
- 17:35Speaker 1: yet because she's out of town. So she when she
- 17:38Speaker 1: comes back in, We're gonna go to Papa Does again,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and I'm gonna do my little country thing. Hold the talker.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I brought my own holding cocktail salt. I brought my
- 17:47Speaker 1: own because of the because because the nature of what
- 17:50Speaker 1: you're doing is I find it so inspiring, the fact
- 17:53Speaker 1: that because a lot of things sound complicated in life,
- 17:57Speaker 1: a lot of things, it's just effort, you know, like
- 18:00Speaker 1: you said, you just walked in there. I would not
- 18:03Speaker 1: even fathom that a possibility that I could just walk
- 18:06Speaker 1: into the store and go, here's my product. I followed
- 18:10Speaker 1: all the rules, try it and they go, Okay, your
- 18:17Speaker 1: game change. Yeah. And how many years ago was that?
- 18:21Speaker 1: How many years ago was that? I just celebrated my

- 22:14Speaker 1: full rollout of the four thousand stores and being a
- 22:17Speaker 1: condiment or full rollout to be in all seafood department,
