- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth turn. Ad the
- 1:47Speaker 5: money up, come come out, you think, Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 5: sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody, y'all.
- 2:05Speaker 8: Listen to the voice. Come on dig me now. One
- 2:07Speaker 8: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o
- 2:12Speaker 8: man o man. Grateful for it. Come through a huge
- 2:15Speaker 8: amount of responsibility. I didn't really know I was gonna
- 2:19Speaker 8: have to be this responsible.
- 2:21Speaker 2: You know? Can I share something with y'all?
- 2:23Speaker 8: I started out to Finally I had gotten on track
- 2:27Speaker 8: and was able to see a way to even pursue
- 2:32Speaker 8: my dream. It has been a long, a long trip
- 2:36Speaker 8: that I've been on, and I've gone through so many
- 2:38Speaker 8: phases of it. It is rewarding along the way to
- 2:44Speaker 8: accomplish your dreams. What I'm saying is this, let me
- 2:47Speaker 8: let me put it together, because I got so much
- 2:49Speaker 8: running through my head right now. You know, it's one
- 2:52Speaker 8: thing to accomplish your dreams, but there's joy in the
- 2:56Speaker 8: process of achieving it. See, some people are so caught
- 3:02Speaker 8: up in the goal, the final goal, that they find
- 3:07Speaker 8: no joy, no enjoyment in the process. If you have
- 3:14Speaker 8: found what it is you want to do and you
- 3:18Speaker 8: strike out on that journey, please understand you are far
- 3:23Speaker 8: more blessed than the average person to know what it
- 3:27Speaker 8: is you really want to do. To find your work
- 3:31Speaker 8: in life, your purpose, to find out what direction you
- 3:36Speaker 8: want to go in is such a blessing. The average person,
- 3:40Speaker 8: if you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't
- 3:44Speaker 8: have their life on track. And it'd be some people
- 3:46Speaker 8: that you looking at you think God it going on
- 3:49Speaker 8: because of their appearance, their swagger.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Oh they walk like it, they talk like it, they
- 3:55Speaker 2: look like it.
- 3:55Speaker 8: But if you sit down and talk to the average person,
- 3:59Speaker 8: the average per person man does not know what their
- 4:03Speaker 8: purpose is, has not discovered what they want to do,
- 4:07Speaker 8: and have no idea how to get there. If you
- 4:10Speaker 8: are on the other side of that, if you understand
- 4:13Speaker 8: your purpose, if you have an idea of what you
- 4:16Speaker 8: want to be, and you are on your way there,
- 4:19Speaker 8: you are truly blessed. And in that blessing. You must
- 4:25Speaker 8: recognize it as a blessing. You must recognize the fact
- 4:29Speaker 8: that you are on the right side, and that there
- 4:33Speaker 8: should be a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of
- 4:36Speaker 8: pride in you that you are on track to accomplish
- 4:40Speaker 8: your goal. See what used to happen was sometimes I
- 4:44Speaker 8: used to keep my nose so on the grindstone that
- 4:48Speaker 8: I wouldn't even look up and realize, Man, hey, man,
- 4:52Speaker 8: I know you're trying to get here, but steve, hold on, man,
- 4:56Speaker 8: can't you see what you've done so far?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Can't you find just some joy in the process.
- 5:01Speaker 8: See, a lot of us lose the joy of the
- 5:04Speaker 8: blessings God has given us because we looking at the
- 5:07Speaker 8: end talking about I ain't there yet, you on your way.
- 5:11Speaker 8: I'm gonna give you an example. I had a friend
- 5:13Speaker 8: who told me that they wanted to be a millionaire.
- 5:17Speaker 8: And they asked me some questions and I told them,
- 5:21Speaker 8: so they started the process, and I am telling you,
- 5:25Speaker 8: this dude works extremely hard. So about a year later
- 5:31Speaker 8: we were talking. He had found this business, he had
- 5:38Speaker 8: set his goal, and he was working towards it. Then
- 5:42Speaker 8: about two years later I ran up into him again.
- 5:45Speaker 8: We were talking about it and everything. He said, Man,
- 5:47Speaker 8: I really really appreciate the advice. He said, Man, but
- 5:50Speaker 8: this is all jacked up, man, because I still ain't
- 5:54Speaker 8: made that million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 5:58Speaker 8: just keep at its coming. He said, Man, keep at it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:01Speaker 8: You know how long I've been doing this? Been two
- 6:04Speaker 8: years now. And I didn't say that to him, but
- 6:07Speaker 8: I said to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man,
- 6:09Speaker 8: I've been grinding so long, man, Its just it ain't
- 6:12Speaker 8: happening from me. I said, wait a minute, man, holld on,
- 6:15Speaker 8: hold on. I said, about how much you making right now?
- 6:18Speaker 2: A year?
- 6:20Speaker 9: Man?
- 6:20Speaker 8: About two hundred and fifty thousand. I quit breathing. I said, whoa,
- 6:27Speaker 8: my man. Two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:32Speaker 8: Two years later, you making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:36Speaker 8: I said, man, do you understand how blessed you are?
- 6:40Speaker 8: I said, ma'am, your family was about.
- 6:42Speaker 2: To get put out.
- 6:44Speaker 8: Two years ago you done bought a house. Yeah, man,
- 6:48Speaker 8: but this ain't the house.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I really won't.
- 6:50Speaker 8: Oh, oh, partner, whoa I got that? I got that
- 6:54Speaker 8: the house you really want? Mike call fied eight million.
- 6:57Speaker 8: I don't know, but man, y'all got a you making
- 7:01Speaker 8: a payment, you drive it. You ain't out no more.
- 7:03Speaker 8: I said, old man, you got to stop. I said,
- 7:05Speaker 8: you got to stop. I said, man, because right now, man,
- 7:07Speaker 8: you you coming across. That's real ungrateful to me. And
- 7:11Speaker 8: so he said, man, why are you tripping like that?
- 7:13Speaker 3: Man?
- 7:13Speaker 8: Man, you act like don't nobody want to have nothing
- 7:16Speaker 8: but you? I said, whoa man, where are you going
- 7:17Speaker 8: with this conversation? I said, Oh, I didn't come to you.
- 7:20Speaker 8: I just came to you and asked you how you doing.
- 7:22Speaker 8: And I'm trying to point out to you that the
- 7:25Speaker 8: journey that you started on, that you are on your way,
- 7:28Speaker 8: and you are in the process of accomplishing your goals,
- 7:31Speaker 8: and can you not feel some joy and some pleasure
- 7:34Speaker 8: in your accomplishment. Quit tripping on the fact that you
- 7:37Speaker 8: ain't made a million yet, you on your way. You
- 7:40Speaker 8: done went from He thought this dude was making fifteen
- 7:43Speaker 8: thousand dollars a year. You making quarter of a million
- 7:45Speaker 8: dollars in two years? Man, come on, man, can't you
- 7:47Speaker 8: see can't you see? So he said, eventually, ah, man,
- 7:52Speaker 8: I kind of see what you saying. But that ain't
- 7:54Speaker 8: about nothing to me because I ran up into him
- 7:57Speaker 8: a year and a half later. How you doing, man, man,
- 8:02Speaker 8: I show wish I'd appreciate it my life when I
- 8:05Speaker 8: had it like that?
- 8:06Speaker 2: I said, what you mean, had it like that? Man?
- 8:09Speaker 8: Just fell on some hard times. Man, right back where
- 8:11Speaker 8: I was. And then we talked. I said, hey, man,
- 8:15Speaker 8: don't worry about it. I said, Once you know how
- 8:16Speaker 8: to accomplish something, I said, you just reapply the same
- 8:19Speaker 8: principles and start on over again. Man, you know how
- 8:22Speaker 8: hard it is or be to start over? Okay, my man,
- 8:25Speaker 8: Hold up, pardoner, you've been do yourself like this again. First,
- 8:28Speaker 8: you wasn't grateful for what you had. Now you're looking
- 8:31Speaker 8: at the fact that you might have to start over,
- 8:33Speaker 8: and you know how hard it is to start over.
- 8:35Speaker 8: Maybe God said, okay, you ain't happy with this, Okay,
- 8:40Speaker 8: didn't handle it your way? You obviously ain't happy with
- 8:43Speaker 8: the way I'm bringing it into your life. You want
- 8:46Speaker 8: to handle it your way, Go ahead and handle it
- 8:47Speaker 8: because he will let you have it your way. Can
- 8:49Speaker 8: I tell you that he will let you do it
- 8:52Speaker 8: exactly the way you want to it because he gives
- 8:54Speaker 8: us all the power of choice. So then maybe he said, okay,
- 8:57Speaker 8: you don't appreciate the way I'm doing it, like the
- 9:00Speaker 8: favor I'm showing you. You think it's taken too long,
- 9:02Speaker 8: I'm gonna let you do it your way. I'm not
- 9:04Speaker 8: gonna turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let
- 9:06Speaker 8: you do it your way.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Just just say.
- 9:08Speaker 8: Maybe he said that, and now he right back where
- 9:11Speaker 8: it was. So what I tried to get the young
- 9:13Speaker 8: cat to understand was, man, appreciate your life for what
- 9:17Speaker 8: it is, because, like like Jenny's got that song that
- 9:21Speaker 8: he got out off this album, still I still believe
- 9:24Speaker 8: it could have been worse.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And now that it is worse.
- 9:28Speaker 8: What's on your mind now, folks, If you are on
- 9:32Speaker 8: that side of life where you have figured out what
- 9:34Speaker 8: you want to do, you know how you're gonna get that,
- 9:37Speaker 8: and you know your purpose. You're accomplishing what the majority
- 9:40Speaker 8: of people never ever do. So be grateful for your process.
- 9:43Speaker 8: Don't tumble yourself, don't throw yourself off the cliff. It's
- 9:47Speaker 8: gonna be all right. Success takes a measure of time.
- 9:51Speaker 8: It is not easy. If success were easy, everybody would
- 9:55Speaker 8: be successful.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morningshell.
- 10:05Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have y' undivided attention. In
- 10:09Speaker 8: the words of an old minister, I heard one time,
- 10:13Speaker 8: it's moaning time, moaning as an m A n I
- 10:20Speaker 8: n g moaning time, and that was his whole sermon.
- 10:25Speaker 8: But when you from the country, you moaning is two things.
- 10:31Speaker 8: It's moaning m O A n I n g, and
- 10:36Speaker 8: is moaning m O A n I n g as
- 10:41Speaker 8: in daytime. Moaning and moaning is the same thing. We
- 10:46Speaker 8: are doing a word of effigy today. This is for
- 10:52Speaker 8: Shirley Strawberry owner to get her caught up on things
- 10:57Speaker 8: that she needs to know. You know, as an adult
- 11:02Speaker 8: African American person who has never taken the time to
- 11:07Speaker 8: learn culturally her people. She has spent her time in
- 11:14Speaker 8: the bugy category, acting like she from Boston or something.
- 11:20Speaker 2: But that's for you shall be moaning. Yeah, and she
- 11:26Speaker 2: don't know. It's the mother words she don't know like that.
- 11:29Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's get into that. Shelly Strawberry colle
- 11:31Speaker 8: for real, Mississippi Monica Jr. And nephew Tommy and myself
- 11:35Speaker 8: here would go. Uh, it's a lot of words she
- 11:38Speaker 8: don't know, like like e n n oh, that's you
- 11:46Speaker 8: know see that see right there, and see you ain't
- 11:49Speaker 8: even know that's it's just so much to her that
- 11:56Speaker 8: you know, she said e see right then she just
- 12:01Speaker 8: walks into it. She just don't no put it in
- 12:07Speaker 8: your mind.
- 12:09Speaker 2: T A W.
- 12:12Speaker 8: B O U T two see right there. See see
- 12:17Speaker 8: there you go. That's what Michelle. You don't know what
- 12:24Speaker 8: it is. See see she come talking about he gonna
- 12:27Speaker 8: leave me. See she still don't get it. Listen, come
- 12:34Speaker 8: talking about talking about he gonna leave me.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's all right right now.
- 12:47Speaker 2: That is just the sadness of where you are with
- 12:50Speaker 2: this language.
- 12:52Speaker 1: This is sad.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Yeah, because surely see you gotta be able to float
- 12:57Speaker 8: within all worlds.
- 12:59Speaker 2: See I can. I'm global, all right, I'll do all right,
- 13:05Speaker 2: I'm global. But see you gotta be you gotta be
- 13:07Speaker 2: more more hood.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Where did they say that, comet?
- 13:12Speaker 2: That is what we just said? What you mean? Why
- 13:15Speaker 2: did they say that? Who saying?
- 13:21Speaker 1: She said?
- 13:21Speaker 2: Where did they say that? Act?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I just said where not to say that?
- 13:27Speaker 4: Not?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Where do they say that at?
- 13:29Speaker 7: All?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Wow, we got to go, Thank the Lord. I'm not
- 13:36Speaker 1: gonna make it.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You ain't gonna make it.

- 15:03Speaker 8: allow him full a continent of time, the full continent
- 15:11Speaker 8: of time.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Someone once told me, Pastor, that's full compliment. I said, well,
- 15:20Speaker 8: suppose he not compliment any one? Why is we saying that?

- 16:01Speaker 8: Brother Raloh has the little uh device at his house.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Okay, take it off.
- 16:12Speaker 8: He charges twelve dollars to remove a minimum three items.
- 16:19Speaker 8: Put that out there. Go ahead, our past.
- 16:23Speaker 11: We got an insan sister, the niece Journey again is
- 16:27Speaker 11: in jail for fighting over the last can a cranberry

- 26:48Speaker 1: Some people are just socially awkward and some people are
- 26:51Speaker 1: the life of the party. They're social butterflies, you know,

- 29:57Speaker 10: Man, would you rather be known as a sex symbol
- 30:02Speaker 10: or would you rather be known as the funniest man?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Or I'll be beaten because I ain't gonna be no
- 30:06Speaker 1: sex something that with these bodies.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I missed that. I missed that train beat. I am

- 30:14Speaker 1: You can't help I know.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I can't get rid of that. And that right there
- 30:18Speaker 2: is the funniest.
- 30:18Speaker 9: Thing you.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Coming up right up to.
- 30:23Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Steve, please introduce your nephew and junior.

- 30:48Speaker 2: because I hate he wasn't here.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Wait, remind me, I forget Okay.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I'm just gonna drop this one on you because because
- 30:55Speaker 2: I hate you wasn't here for that.
- 30:57Speaker 12: Tell him that if a person who is death, if
- 31:04Speaker 12: they've been smoking weed, ain't that h d ain't.
- 31:08Speaker 2: That high depth? Yeah? I don't even I couldn't even
- 31:16Speaker 2: argue that.
- 31:16Speaker 12: I don't say it again, if a deaf person been
- 31:20Speaker 12: smoking weed, that's h D, that's hide depth.
- 31:31Speaker 8: So let me ask you something. So you're saying, since
- 31:37Speaker 8: he's death and the fact that he's deaf and he's high,
- 31:44Speaker 8: so you're saying then so let me let me let
- 31:47Speaker 8: me ask you something. I'm saying that since he's deaf,
- 31:51Speaker 8: that that heightens his other senses and now his ass
- 31:55Speaker 8: can see better. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but you thought
- 32:05Speaker 8: it was yeah, yeah, don't try to put any deepness

- 32:15Speaker 8: deaf and he smoked weed, ain't that high?
- 32:18Speaker 2: Death?
- 32:19Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 32:20Speaker 7: All he's saying, that's okay.
- 32:27Speaker 12: So me and Junior phone last night, tell him. People
- 32:31Speaker 12: don't die in the living room. What what are you
- 32:36Speaker 12: you know, dying there? It's not a dying room. It's
- 32:40Speaker 12: a living room.
- 32:41Speaker 2: People don't die. People die in living rooms all the
- 32:45Speaker 2: time because you know what that room becomes. It become
- 32:49Speaker 2: a dead person in the living room.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Now that makes sense. I don't know, you know it,
- 32:59Speaker 1: but you ain't been your intention intended to do that?
- 33:04Speaker 9: Be you're in it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And I told them I haven't told you.

- 33:28Speaker 2: Holler, they got the get it in the living boom
- 33:31Speaker 2: and open me.
- 33:33Speaker 3: He was balled up in there.

- 33:49Speaker 8: was a little wall where the closet was when.
- 33:51Speaker 2: You go through the door. So they had to turn it.
- 33:53Speaker 8: So they had to they had to turn it sideways.
- 33:56Speaker 8: Then they had to tip it up, and they had
- 34:00Speaker 8: to turn the corner straight back.
- 34:01Speaker 2: When they opened the.

- 35:06Speaker 2: The clothes wasn't on him?
- 35:07Speaker 1: No more good If people get off and look, because if.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I was in the holland the funny thing I look,
- 35:15Speaker 2: I would.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Be kind of scared. If they opened the casket like.
- 35:18Speaker 2: The people getting up.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You know, it would have been a closed casket if
- 35:22Speaker 1: the funeral was open that you know.

- 36:14Speaker 8: thing I've seen in years. You could pull it up on.
- 36:18Speaker 2: On on YouTube. His wife died and they had the
- 36:20Speaker 2: funeral at a black filmer.
- 36:26Speaker 8: They got the dogs in there that the white family
- 36:28Speaker 8: got the dog, and all the black people was watching.

- 56:22Speaker 2: Here It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject. I think I'm playing with fire.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:29Speaker 10: I'm an older single man and I'm very nice looking,
- 56:32Speaker 10: not your typical old cornball pops type. Dating is hard
- 56:36Speaker 10: for me because most women my age have let themselves
- 56:38Speaker 10: go and look matronly. I love online dating sites and
- 56:42Speaker 10: I have a great time meeting and hooking up with
- 56:45Speaker 10: various women. Recently, a thirty year old bombshell sent me
- 56:50Speaker 10: a message to say that she was looking for a
- 56:52Speaker 10: little financial help in exchange for some confidential fun. So
- 56:57Speaker 10: we have met up for lip service a few times
- 56:59Speaker 10: and that's it. We've never gone all the way. I
- 57:03Speaker 10: give her a little extra money for bills and you know,
- 57:07Speaker 10: to get her hair done and her nails done, and
- 57:09Speaker 10: she's happy. But here's my problem. She asked me to
- 57:13Speaker 10: do her a big favor and I agree to it.
- 57:15Speaker 10: She told me that her mom is single, gorgeous and
- 57:18Speaker 10: a lot of fun, but she is trouble meeting good men.
- 57:22Speaker 10: She asked me to escort her mom to a galup
- 57:26Speaker 10: as her date. She told her mom that I am
- 57:29Speaker 10: her coworker's dad, and she showed her a picture of me.
- 57:33Speaker 10: She showed me a picture of her mom too. I
- 57:35Speaker 10: took her mom to the galup and we had a
- 57:37Speaker 10: great time talking, laughing and dancing. We are the same
- 57:42Speaker 10: age and we have a lot in common. After the gaelub,
- 57:46Speaker 10: she invited me in for a nightcap. We have been
- 57:49Speaker 10: drinking wine all night, so one thing led to another
- 57:52Speaker 10: and I ended up spending the night with her. I
- 57:55Speaker 10: must say that we're compatible in the bedroom too. I
- 57:59Speaker 10: think I want to keep seeing this woman, but I
- 58:01Speaker 10: don't want to mess it up with what I.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Have with her daughter.
- 58:05Speaker 10: They can give me two different and very pleasurable experiences. Besides,
- 58:10Speaker 10: the daughter is only in it for the money. What
- 58:13Speaker 10: do you think Can I get away with it? Or
- 58:15Speaker 10: am I playing with fire? Please help now? I don't
- 58:18Speaker 10: think you're gonna be able to get away with this one.
- 58:20Speaker 10: Their mother and daughter, you know they're gonna talk. Yeah,
- 58:24Speaker 10: you're playing with fire if you're not honest, and if
- 58:27Speaker 10: you get greedy, which is.
- 58:28Speaker 1: What you're doing.
- 58:30Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 58:31Speaker 1: You're being greedy now, I.
- 58:33Speaker 7: Mean, you know.
- 58:34Speaker 10: And the only one really who's gonna be mad in
- 58:37Speaker 10: this whole thing, I think is the daughter, because like
- 58:40Speaker 10: you say, she's only in it for the money, and
- 58:42Speaker 10: if you stop the money then she probably will be mad.
- 58:45Speaker 10: So in this case, I think it's okay. I think
- 58:48Speaker 10: you need to be honest, open and honest with the daughter.
- 58:52Speaker 10: You said you haven't slept with the daughter. You guys
- 58:55Speaker 10: have had lip service, met up for lip service. So
- 58:58Speaker 10: I'm assuming you've kissed the daughter and that's all. So
- 59:01Speaker 10: that should make it a little easier because you guys
- 59:04Speaker 10: haven't gone all the way I say. In this particular case,
- 59:07Speaker 10: life is short. I think this situation is different because
- 59:12Speaker 10: you guys are the same age. You're very compatible. As
- 59:15Speaker 10: you say, you have a lot in common. You enjoy
- 59:17Speaker 10: each other's company, you're compatible in the bedroom. You do
- 59:21Speaker 10: want to keep seeing her. But then here's the greedy part.
- 59:24Speaker 1: When you say you don't want to mess it up,
- 59:27Speaker 1: mess up what you have with the daughter. What do
- 59:29Speaker 1: you have with the daughter? You're the daughter, sugar daddy.
- 59:31Speaker 1: All right, you're the daughter sugar daddy. That's what you are.
- 59:35Speaker 10: You didn't say how old you are, but the daughter's thirty,
- 59:37Speaker 10: so I'm assuming you're in your fifties or sixties here.
- 59:40Speaker 10: So you know, if you're going to be open and
- 59:42Speaker 10: honest and not greedy, this situation can work if the
- 59:46Speaker 10: mom agrees to it. If not, you think you can
- 59:48Speaker 10: have your cake and eat it too. It's not gonna work,
- 59:50Speaker 10: and it's going to backfire and you won't have either
- 59:52Speaker 10: of them.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Steep Wow, this is here.
- 59:56Speaker 2: There's a tough one. Dude.
- 59:59Speaker 8: Let me just I think I'm playing with five? Well,
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: what the hell you think it for? Cause y'a'll ask no,
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: I know what. I think you're grown man, you know,
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: oldest single man. I'm very nice looking, not your typical
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: old cornball pop type. Okay, now you know that's an opinion.
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: That's just an opinion.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Ain't ain't nothing in this letter. After you said you
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: was nice looking, they ain't come up no more.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: The daughter ain't said, oh my god, he find The
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: mamma ain't said, oh my god, you find it. Ain't
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: come up no more. Dog. Look well, but you know
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: I don't like me and talking about how nice they look.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I just don't like that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: You know, I'm a good strong man. I'm a strong
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: but you'll be that I'm talking about nice looking Troy
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: to give a damn. I don't like dudes like that.
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: You know, dating is hard for me because most women
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: my age had let themselves go and look matronly matron.
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: What is that like?
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Oh like a nun?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Well, yeah, like an older woman.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Maybe you know what is matron?
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Put on a couple of pounds, But what do matronly mean.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Somebody see not sexy.
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: Okay, somebody give me the definition of Webster definition of
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: matrolly so I can get into this what I need.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: To you know, like your mother, not your girlfriend.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: I love online dating sites. I've had great time meeting
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: hooking up with various women. Then it's thirty year old bombshell.
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: Since you a message to say she was looking for
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: a little financial help in exchange for some confidential fund.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: What okay, I'm you know hey man? Wait see matronly
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: and confidential fund.
- 1:01:49Speaker 10: The definition of matronly says having the attributes of a matron.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: See what the teacher told me in school was you
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: can't define the.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Word with the word exactly exactly.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: But now you dating the older woman that look matroally,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: and now you have met this young girl. She wanted
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: to do some financial help in exchange for some confidential fund.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: So we'd have met up for lip service a few times.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: And that's it. So y'all kiss it, y'all kissing. Now
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: we ain't never gone all the way.
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: I'll give her extra money for bills to get her
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: hand and nails done, and she is happy for kissing.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You're paying bills for kissing. All right, Hang on, Steve,

- 1:04:12Speaker 8: of a stage or conservative, conservatively dressed, older married woman,
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: especially one with a somewhat heavy beild.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: She looks matronly in a putty colored tweet two piece. Okay,

- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Just kissing me too.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: Well, on the break, I've been enlightened. Nip service it's
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: something else. It's when the two people provide pleasure with
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: their lips, and so they met up for lip service.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: This is molding kissing. Now they're providing pleasure for one
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: another with their lips. That's what this is.
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: Oh that changes, hey, But she and he said that
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: just a few times, and that's it. We've never gone

- 1:06:25Speaker 2: well anyway, but here's the problem. She asked me to
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: do her big favorite. I agreed to do it.
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: She told me that her mom is single, gorgeous and
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: a lot of fun, but she has trouble meeting good men.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: So she asked me to eskor their mom to a gala.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Asked her date.
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: She told me told her mama that I'm her coworker's dad,
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: and she showed her a.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Picture of me.
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: She showed me a picture of mom too. I took
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: a mom to the gala. We had a good time talking.
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: They would limp services. They were just talking, laughing down
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: ha ha and dancing then and they the same age,
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: and they got.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: A lot in common. Well, after the gala was over,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: she invited me in for a night cap. They drinking.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Now y'all been drinking wine all night? What the night

- 1:07:23Speaker 8: How they always say? So one thing led to another.
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: I ended up spending night with her, So now you
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: just slept with the mama. Now I must say that
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: we're compatible. We're compatible in the bedroom too. I think
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: I want to keep seeing this woman, but I don't
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: want to mess up what I have with her daughter,
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: because they can give me two very different and pleasurable experiences.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Boy, looker here. Besides, the daughter is only in it
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: for money.

- 1:08:22Speaker 8: old player and you like playing because even in your
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: letter you said, I have a great time meeting and
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: hooking up with various women online.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: So now you got these two women here.
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: One of them does something for you physically and don't
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: go all the way, and the other one go all
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: the way. But you like the mama, but you don't
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: want to mess up what you have with the daughter
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: because she just in it for money. Found here's what

- 1:09:12Speaker 8: to you.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: No, let me explain.

- 1:10:31Speaker 10: subject I Think I'm playing with fire.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: About this older Guyland.
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: This man loves online Dayton. He's an old player. He
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: got this girl he met online thirty year old bombshell
- 1:10:41Speaker 8: said they can have some confidential fun. He didne got
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: together with the girl and they provide each other with
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: lift service. Mean that they haven't different, just sex. He's
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: been giving her money and stuff for it. It's been
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: going real well. Did she ask him to do her
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: a favor take her mama to a gala. He showed
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: them a picture of the mama. She liked the mama
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: showed the mama picture of her, said this one of
- 1:11:04Speaker 8: her coworkers.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Daddies. She know you all, and so you said, yeah,
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: met the mama. She fined.
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: Y'all went out, had a good time, got to drink,
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: and she invites you in for a drink. You end
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: up spending the night with the mama, and you enjoy
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: the mama. You really like the mama.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Y'all compatible in bed, and y'all got a lot in common.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: You're laughing and stuff.
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: Now you're trying to figure out because you've been breaking
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: off this money to this young girl who's providing you
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: with this lip service, and you providing her with lip service. Y'all,
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: just don't go all the way that. Now you want
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: to know if you can make both of them work.
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: Dog this ain't gonna work. Women always know, they know, dog,
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: they gonna find out. Now, what's your question, Tommy? If
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: I'm the dude, I didn't invest it way too much
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: in this first girl. I got stock in there. Now
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: you know, I see what I'm saying. I got to
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: get broke off for I leave at least too.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: I just had to.
- 1:11:59Speaker 12: I spent too much money. I spent way too much money. Man,
- 1:12:04Speaker 12: with this, this whole, this halfway thing we do. We
- 1:12:06Speaker 12: got to finish this off before I get over here
- 1:12:08Speaker 12: to mama.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: WHOA don't you.
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: Think I almost separate yourselves when he said he wanted
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: to ask a question.
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: See, this is why it won't work, because men have
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: a stupid logic when it comes to the way they
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: think about said this is a dumb ass logic.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Did not just tell you that they gonna find out.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Why y'all always looking at each other like that that's
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: gonna come out? All you can do.
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: The only chance you got is to tell how you
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: really met the daughter. But that's if you wanted to
- 1:12:46Speaker 8: keep the mama. Your problem in you trying to keep
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: the mama. Your problem is you trying to keep them both.
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: And if you try to keep.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: Them both, it's gonna end miserably for you.
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: But if you just try to keep the mama, you'd
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: have to give up something, and you ain't willing to
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: do that. Because you enjoy online dating. You said that,
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: and you don't want to have nobody. You ain't looking
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: for nobody. You enjoy online dating because need various women's
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: They think, so dog, guess what you are. So just
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: tell them that's what you are and going about your business.
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: Because you try to keep both of them, you're gonna
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: get busted and they're gonna probably kill you.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Hey. This is John Legend.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Hi, this is Felicious Shot.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Hey, this is Motown recording artist Camp.
- 1:13:30Speaker 12: Hey you as I'm here?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: What's up? This is Chris Rock. Hey, guys, what's up?
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: Good morning?
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: This is Tony Braxton.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: You already know what time it's boy DC, Young fly.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Hall the Morning Show.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: All right, it is time now to check Steve's voicemail.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: If you'd like to leave a message for Steve, you
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: can call him yourself at eight seven seven twenty nine
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: You might just hear your call in the air. Are
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: you ready, Steve.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: Remember last week we received a voicemail from a man
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: who said that after ending a relationship with his ex,
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: she seems like she's getting blessed all the time. You
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: gave him advice about envy. Well, this caller disagrees with
- 1:14:07Speaker 10: your view. Take a listen.
- 1:14:09Speaker 17: You know this message is with Steve Harvey himself, and
- 1:14:12Speaker 17: I really hope that it gets to Steve.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Man. Listen.
- 1:14:15Speaker 17: I've been watching you for a long time on TV,
- 1:14:17Speaker 17: listening to you on the radio for a while, and
- 1:14:19Speaker 17: I really like you, man, and I never thought that
- 1:14:21Speaker 17: I would be calling into a radio station, but I
- 1:14:23Speaker 17: had to, Man, because I heard you make a statement
- 1:14:25Speaker 17: on the radio that when two people are together and
- 1:14:28Speaker 17: they break up and one of them is doing very well,
- 1:14:31Speaker 17: that it's probably because they're not with the person that
- 1:14:35Speaker 17: they broke up with, and that in essence, it might
- 1:14:38Speaker 17: be the person's fault, but the other person's fault because
- 1:14:41Speaker 17: perhaps they were blocking their blessing. Well, Man, I beg
- 1:14:43Speaker 17: to differ with that man, because how about if that
- 1:14:46Speaker 17: person cheated on the person, how about if they were
- 1:14:49Speaker 17: just totally unfaithful, disrespectful, how about that? You know what
- 1:14:53Speaker 17: I mean, hold, how's the other person blocking a blessing
- 1:14:57Speaker 17: at that point?
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:14:58Speaker 17: And just because a person breaks up with someone and
- 1:15:01Speaker 17: one does very well, there's no indication that they've been blessed,
- 1:15:04Speaker 17: you know. I mean, it's just that they haven't received
- 1:15:06Speaker 17: the karma that they got coming yet. Okay, That's exactly
- 1:15:09Speaker 17: what it is. Okay, Because the Bible says, and I
- 1:15:12Speaker 17: hear you talking about God a lot, but the Bible says,
- 1:15:15Speaker 17: to be not deceived, that God is not mock whatsoever?
- 1:15:17Speaker 12: Man?
- 1:15:18Speaker 17: So is that shall he also read?
- 1:15:20Speaker 10: So?
- 1:15:20Speaker 17: In other words, and layman's time, he's talking about karma.
- 1:15:23Speaker 17: What goes around comes around.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:15:25Speaker 17: And I feel very bad that you would make a
- 1:15:28Speaker 17: statement like that, you know, I mean, to make a
- 1:15:30Speaker 17: person that's probably already feeling bad feel even worse, maybe
- 1:15:34Speaker 17: feeling like they are the problem they like they calls.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: The break up when they probably did not, you know, man.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: And I just it just made me feel.
- 1:15:43Speaker 17: Really upset and angry that you would make a statement
- 1:15:46Speaker 17: like that.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: I was really surprised to hear that from you, man.
- 1:15:48Speaker 17: You know, So whether you put this on a radio
- 1:15:50Speaker 17: or not, you know, I just wanted you to hear it,
- 1:15:52Speaker 17: you know what I mean, take care of yourself. Man.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Well, what you're saying all could be true.
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: The problem that I have what your statement is, this
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: phone call wasn't about anybody cheating. No one mentioned cheating
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: in the phone call at all. The guy was simply saying,
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: how does he rationalize in his mind that after if
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: he's broken up with someone that they're doing really really well.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: Well, And my statement was maybe the tour you weren't
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: supposed to be together, and maybe you were the cause
- 1:16:25Speaker 8: why she wasn't doing and I stand by that. But bruh,
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: Nobody in the letter mentioned any infidelity, anybody cheating. Nobody mentioned.
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: And then for you to use the scripture talking about
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: maybe calm or ain't caught up with him yet? You know,
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: y'all kill me with that one. Man, y'all need to
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: slow down a little bit. God's ways is as high
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: burrow of the earth as the heavens. Our ways are
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: not like his. You we as people, don't have the
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: right to call out calm based on how you think
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: God deals with a situation. I'm very leary when people
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: use karma. Karma ain't caught up with him yet? How
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: do you know what timing God is using or what
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: method he's using to get a person to learn a lesson.
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: I've had a lot of people tell me that something
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: that happens to be now is CAUs a karma for
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: something I did when I was twenty seven. Do you
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: know I just recently heard that. You mean to tell
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: me that it took God thirty nine years to teach
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: me a lesson. So I'm just literly when people do that.
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: And you're right about the scripture. That's what the scripture says.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: But you all don't know when to apply karma, and
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: we as Christians and people need to stop doing that.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: That's calma. Y'all don't know what karma is. You don't
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: know how God working this thing out you.
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: Every time something had bad happen to somebody, somebody think
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: it's calma for something they did in the past.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: No, sometimes it's just your turn. It's called life. You
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: just finnah get one today just to card you. You
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: ain't do nothing to deserve it.
- 1:18:02Speaker 8: Life ain't fair all the time. Sometimes you get done
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: dirty and you didn't really do nothing. That ain't calm.
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: But if you're looking at it from the outside, you
- 1:18:09Speaker 8: called in it coming. That's calm for what you did back. Yeah, no, brod,
- 1:18:12Speaker 8: that ain't what that is. So I agree with you
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: to what you said.
- 1:18:15Speaker 12: Bruh.
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: I do agree with what you said if that was
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: infidelity involved, But in the phone called it wasn't no
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: infidelity involved, So I stay.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: By what I said.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: All right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:18:27Speaker 10: When the weather cools off and the leaves start falling,
- 1:18:31Speaker 10: that can only mean one thing, and you know what
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: it is. That means it's cuffing season again. It's that
- 1:18:38Speaker 10: time of year when single people want a partner to
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: cozy up with before the holidays. According to dating dot Com,
- 1:18:45Speaker 10: a low pressure approach to dating is always the way
- 1:18:48Speaker 10: to go, and no one likes drama. Nearly seventy one
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: percent of daters are looking for someone who's easygoing and relaxed,
- 1:18:56Speaker 10: while eighty five percent want a partner with similar interests
- 1:18:59Speaker 10: and activity. For cuffing season, according to essence dot com,
- 1:19:03Speaker 10: you should already have started drafting for a cuffing season. Okay,
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: Thanksgiving right around the corner, and remember cuffing season ends
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: around late March. So here here here's a question for you, guys,
- 1:19:16Speaker 10: do you have any tips on cuffing season any tips?
- 1:19:20Speaker 15: Well, first of all, you know the person you need
- 1:19:22Speaker 15: to cuff with feelas you know, need to need to
- 1:19:24Speaker 15: be around your weight on a little bit, a little
- 1:19:26Speaker 15: bit more.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: That's about this. Back around your weight a little bit more.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: That's it. So you know if you about one fifty's
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: about one sixty.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: You know what is there?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Walk walk shirt?
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Wh you got covers?
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:19:44Speaker 8: Okay, all right, you need to cuffing and you got
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: to make sure that other person won't to be cuffed
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: with you scooting up on the person that don't want
- 1:19:54Speaker 8: you under thee. That's that's very welsome.

- 1:24:25Speaker 16: Harvey Morning Show. There's morning shows and there's the greatest
- 1:24:29Speaker 16: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Another one.
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: Hey, it's Carla Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside?
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean and

- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Mond. All right, here we are, Steve, last break of
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: the day. Has been a great day.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: What a day? What a day?
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a crazy day today. So Steve, now
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: it's time for you to take us home with your
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: closing remarks.
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: My closing remarks today are going to be based around
- 1:25:23Speaker 8: the value of yourself. I think this is important. Tommy
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: sent this to me, you know, a billboard, and it
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: really triggered me to think. And I'm gonna share that
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: with you. But it all pertains to the value of yourself.
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: This can pertain to you in terms of reaching your goals.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Your dreams are in business and this is for you
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: to consider in the relationship of love.
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: It is amazing to me why I talk to people
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: and people talk about how they're being treated and handled
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: it and represented and dealt with, and how they can't
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: seem to get nobody to see they value and they worth, and.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: I'm sitting a bit going wait a minute, Wait a minute.
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: You can't try to get someone to see something in
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: you that you don't see in yourself.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: It starts with you.
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: You know you all heard the saying, uh, beauty is
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: on the inside. It's not just skin deep, that's true.
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: Confidence is not an outward emotion. It's something that starts
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: from within. Everything starts from within, and it exudes and
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: and and and manifest itself in the outward shape of form.
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: So if you want people to value you, you must
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: first value yourself. I tell my daughters all the time.
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: You can train a man how to treat you well, Daddy,
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: how do you train a man? You just don't accept
- 1:27:07Speaker 8: bad treatment from him. If you don't accept bad treatment
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: from him, little girl of mine.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: Then guess what. He can't keep giving it to you.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: A person can only treat you the way you allow
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: them to do it.
- 1:27:22Speaker 8: If you don't accept a man coming to pick you
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: up late all the time, but you stop going with
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: him every time he late, the next time he want
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: to go out with you, he got to be on time.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: If he don't want to be on time, then guess what.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: You don't go out.
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: You've trained him how to treat you, and if he
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: don't line up with what you want, then guess what
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: he not for you. At least you don't have to
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: be mistreated the way he want to treat you by
- 1:27:46Speaker 8: simply not allowing him to treat you any way he
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: wants to. You cannot have high value for yourself and
- 1:27:56Speaker 8: expect someone else to have a high value of you.
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: That goes into same thing with business. You can't go
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: in and ask for a raise if you don't think
- 1:28:04Speaker 8: you deserve one. What would cause you to walk in
- 1:28:06Speaker 8: there and ask for a raise? If you don't think
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: you deserve one, if you don't have the facts to
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: back up a raise, You can't want more money just
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: because you don't spend all the money you had. You
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: got to go in there and ask for a raise
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: because you can show value to the company. You're worth
- 1:28:22Speaker 8: this much more to the company. The company has become
- 1:28:25Speaker 8: this because of you. Then you can show your value.
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: Then you can go in there with a raise, and
- 1:28:29Speaker 8: you can go in there with some confidence with the raise.
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: It happens with goals and dreams. If you aim too low,
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: your problem is you might hit it. But I'm gonna
- 1:28:40Speaker 8: say that for tomorrow. So it's what you think of yourself,
- 1:28:45Speaker 8: how you value yourself, that matters most. Now, let me
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: tell you what was sent to me. And listen to
- 1:28:51Speaker 8: this real careful, because this is gonna register with a
- 1:28:53Speaker 8: lot of people.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Listen to me. If you aren't being treated with love
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: and respect your price tag, maybe you've marked yourself down.
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: Is you who tells people what you're worth?
- 1:29:08Speaker 8: Get off the clearest rack and get behind the glass
- 1:29:13Speaker 8: where they keep the valuables.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: It's you who tells people what you're worth.
- 1:29:20Speaker 8: Get off the clearest rack and get behind the glass
- 1:29:23Speaker 8: where they keep the valuables. Stop acting like you a
- 1:29:27Speaker 8: sidewalk sail. Stop acting like you can be picked up
- 1:29:31Speaker 8: at the swap meet. Stop acting like you belong in
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: the junkyard.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: You a new car.
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: Don't act like an old car. I don't care how
- 1:29:41Speaker 8: old you are to somebody. You got to be a
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: new car. Stop putting yourself on the sales rack when
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: clearly you deserve full price. If you lower the value
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: for yourself, that's what we'll pay for you, and that's
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: how we'll treat you, and that's how we respect. If
- 1:30:00Speaker 8: you don't respect yourself, if I see you constantly disrespecting yourself,
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: then you're gonna turn to me and demand respect.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: How does that work?
- 1:30:09Speaker 9: Be?
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: That be a coat where they got to lock on it. See,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: you can't take me off the rat and just try
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: me on. No, that ain't how this work. See.
- 1:30:18Speaker 8: But now you go over that to that valuable section
- 1:30:21Speaker 8: in the store. You everybody been to Macy's. You got
- 1:30:23Speaker 8: that stuff where you got to go get a salesperson
- 1:30:26Speaker 8: to come and unlock it for you to even try
- 1:30:28Speaker 8: it on. That's cause they don't put a value on that.
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: Are you going over there and just put the little
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: shirt on? T shirts ain't locked up. Anybody can get
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: one if you steal this T shirt. It ain't that
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: big a loss. That ain't a four dollars pack of three.
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: Come over here, by the swede, Come over here, by
