- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show man oh man, oh man? Yeah, hey,
- 2:17Speaker 1: you know to date. I just want to say something,
- 2:20Speaker 1: um that I don't think I've ever shared this way before. UM.
- 2:29Speaker 1: The title is very simple, and that is it's been
- 2:37Speaker 1: worth it to me, you know. I I just I
- 2:43Speaker 1: just kept thinking that this morning, that it's all been
- 2:47Speaker 1: worth it to me. And what I mean by that
- 2:51Speaker 1: is this relationship that I have with my heavenly father,
- 2:57Speaker 1: it's been worth it to me. I can't even tell
- 3:02Speaker 1: you the value that it has had in my life.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I can't tell you how it's helped me to understand
- 3:15Speaker 1: not only my purpose, but to better understand my past.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's that's that's critical, man, because I'm grateful for that,
- 3:29Speaker 1: because so many people can't get beyond their past and
- 3:34Speaker 1: event a set of circumstances, some calamity that besets them.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Maybe it's been grief something, but it ties so many
- 3:42Speaker 1: people up. It's been so worth it to me it, man,
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's it's been worth having someone to go to when
- 3:57Speaker 1: no one else was there. Do you do you understand
- 4:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It has. It has given me a
- 4:06Speaker 1: place to go when no one else has been there. Oh,
- 4:13Speaker 1: hey man, we're pulling for you. Hey man, hanging there,
- 4:17Speaker 1: hey man, keep your head up, all of that. But
- 4:21Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, man, you get yourself in some
- 4:25Speaker 1: circumstances and situations in this thing called life, when no
- 4:29Speaker 1: one can help you but God, When the only person
- 4:32Speaker 1: that could possibly understand or know what you're feeling is God.
- 4:37Speaker 1: The only person that I'll sit there with you through
- 4:40Speaker 1: it all and understand everything about it has been God.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. Man, It's it's been
- 4:50Speaker 1: worth it to me. You know. Look, look at the
- 4:52Speaker 1: moments of ridicule that I go through because of that
- 4:55Speaker 1: my faith and and me saying it too many times.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Some you know, people don't want to hear it that
- 5:01Speaker 1: many times, or he can't talk about nothing else, or
- 5:04Speaker 1: ain't nobody trying to hear all that? You know, I
- 5:07Speaker 1: get emails all the time. You know why you think
- 5:09Speaker 1: you would preach it. It's just people just don't get it,
- 5:11Speaker 1: so I can. I can't. I can't help it. Man.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I I can't explain myself from my walk to everybody
- 5:17Speaker 1: that I meet because everybody that I meet ain't gonna
- 5:20Speaker 1: get it. Why would I stop to explain my walk
- 5:24Speaker 1: to somebody who ain't even trying to walk? I I
- 5:28Speaker 1: just I just don't have time. But man, I can
- 5:31Speaker 1: tell you this flat out as sure as I'm sitting here, y'all,
- 5:35Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. It's been the biggest
- 5:41Speaker 1: improvement in my life. I mean, man, as as I
- 5:44Speaker 1: look back over my life and forming a strong bond
- 5:49Speaker 1: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You know, these things you read in your in your
- 5:58Speaker 1: in in writing, in the Bible or or whatever you're reading.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You know, when you when you read scriptures and things
- 6:05Speaker 1: of that nature. It it's it's been around a long time.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It holds so much truth to it. I mean, man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: it's like, how could this have been written so long
- 6:19Speaker 1: ago and still pertain directly to today? I mean that
- 6:27Speaker 1: that's amazing. That is amazing to me that. I mean,
- 6:32Speaker 1: that has to be God at work to have written
- 6:35Speaker 1: something so complete, so dead on point that if you
- 6:43Speaker 1: read it today it means exactly what pertains to today.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That's amazing, man. That That's why my my my spiritual walk.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It's just worth it to me, And I keep saying
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's worth it because if you're sitting out there and
- 7:03Speaker 1: you're tripping like I was tripping, decide, now let me do.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I got a few more things I want to do.
- 7:09Speaker 1: A couple more girls. I want to howl at, a
- 7:11Speaker 1: couple more things I want to get into. I got
- 7:13Speaker 1: a couple more deals I want to do. I got
- 7:15Speaker 1: a little bit more dirt. I want to roll up
- 7:16Speaker 1: on me a little bit. First for I, man, I
- 7:19Speaker 1: wish I had known. I really really wish I had known.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I really wish I had understood exactly what forming a
- 7:27Speaker 1: relationship with God would do for me. But what it
- 7:32Speaker 1: has meant to me. Man, It's been worth it. It's
- 7:35Speaker 1: been worth every person who out there who hating on me,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that don't even know me, it's because I have a
- 7:44Speaker 1: relationship with him that I'm fine with that. I don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: care for it, but it ain't gonna stop me though, See,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because I know for a fact that haters make you greater.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I know for a fact that hayes validate your your
- 8:02Speaker 1: mere existence. I know for a fact that half of
- 8:06Speaker 1: them is out of envy and jealousy because of something
- 8:10Speaker 1: you're doing that they wish they could do or they
- 8:13Speaker 1: won't credit for, so they just anything all that bam
- 8:19Speaker 1: and now you just all over the place with people. Man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for this relationship that it has not
- 8:26Speaker 1: allowed outside influences that do not have my best interests
- 8:31Speaker 1: at hard to throw me off course it it's it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: it's just been worth it, man. It it has just
- 8:40Speaker 1: been worth it. And if you're sitting out there and
- 8:43Speaker 1: you're wondering about the benefits of it, I I can't
- 8:47Speaker 1: even tell you what it's like to know that when
- 8:51Speaker 1: bad things are happening to me, the calming piece that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I feel that I know that that's gonna be all
- 8:58Speaker 1: right too. That I know that this tool shall pass.
- 9:03Speaker 1: That I know in my heart of hearts, man, that
- 9:06Speaker 1: there's got to be a reason for this. And if
- 9:09Speaker 1: I can just hang on in there, he gonna unfold
- 9:11Speaker 1: that from me and he gonna let me see it.
- 9:14Speaker 1: But the number one thing I always know is I'm
- 9:16Speaker 1: gonna survive this one too. That this tool shall pass. Man.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. It has been worth
- 9:24Speaker 1: it to me, man, to to to have this thing
- 9:28Speaker 1: called faith, which is the belief in things that you
- 9:31Speaker 1: cannot see, and to know man along the way that,
- 9:34Speaker 1: oh my goodness, man, even though I don't know what's next,
- 9:38Speaker 1: or even I'm not really sure about the next step,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I do know for a fact that some moe is coming.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I do know for a fact. It is a fact
- 9:49Speaker 1: that God will take care of me. It is a
- 9:53Speaker 1: fact that he will never ever leave me or desert me.
- 9:57Speaker 1: If I just stay here while I'm supposed used to be.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He's coming. The Calvary's coming over the hill. He coming
- 10:04Speaker 1: over the hill, and when he come over that hill,
- 10:07Speaker 1: he's gonna wipe out all this mess down here. That's
- 10:09Speaker 1: that's trying to hurt me, that that I don't have
- 10:12Speaker 1: to worry about my enemies anymore. That my enemies that
- 10:16Speaker 1: are all around you can surround me. You could shoot
- 10:20Speaker 1: all the arrows you want. That's not to say that
- 10:23Speaker 1: none of them ain't gonna come close. And I ain't
- 10:26Speaker 1: gonna say that, you know, I ain't gonna be a
- 10:29Speaker 1: little under some pressure, a little nervous about being shot
- 10:32Speaker 1: at so hard. But at the end of the day
- 10:35Speaker 1: I noticed, for show, ain't none of them gonna stick
- 10:37Speaker 1: in me. You could shoot them, but ain't none of
- 10:40Speaker 1: them gonna stick in me? No matter what you do,
- 10:44Speaker 1: no weapon formed to givest me nothing. Now you can't.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You can't do nothing with me. Man, I'm I'm so cool.

- 29:39Speaker 1: gotta ask you, man, what is what is the baddest
- 29:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the lands,
- 29:47Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show. That is from the Stupid
- 29:56Speaker 1: voted most stupid. You can get my prank c D.
- 29:59Speaker 1: It is in Walmart right now, get it. It's called
- 30:01Speaker 1: Won't he Do It? I'm pranking church people off. Won't
- 30:04Speaker 1: I do it? Ll be a great break? What do
- 30:12Speaker 1: you mean, Steve? You keep listening to this show. It
- 30:15Speaker 1: ain't just it's his life. You don't see me getting
- 30:20Speaker 1: into the key get to heaven and it breaks his
- 30:22Speaker 1: ass about getting in Peter be up. They're just some
- 30:26Speaker 1: tiffy Timmy nefy Timmy neverytime Taylor Nephew. All right, Well,
- 30:32Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Quincy Jones
- 30:35Speaker 1: is going to unload about everything, everything and everybody. You're
- 30:40Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We've been talking
- 30:46Speaker 1: about this. Quincy Jones has been saying a lot of
- 30:49Speaker 1: interesting things lately. Uh. We remember last week we talked
- 30:53Speaker 1: about his twenty two girlfriends. He said he had talked
- 30:56Speaker 1: was cool with friends around the world. He talked about that,
- 31:00Speaker 1: but at one time, he says, he also dated the
- 31:03Speaker 1: president's daughter, Ivanka Trump. Now, this is an interview he
- 31:07Speaker 1: gave with Vulture magazine. Quincy says that the matchmaker was
- 31:12Speaker 1: none other than Tommy Hill Figure. Here, Yeah, he says,
- 31:16Speaker 1: I used to date if Anka. Uh, Tommy Hill Figure
- 31:19Speaker 1: who was working with my daughter Cadata said Ivanka wants
- 31:22Speaker 1: to have dinner with you, and yes he was interested.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Keep going, please keep listening because this line coming up
- 31:30Speaker 1: this for you. But didn't uh uh and yes he
- 31:35Speaker 1: was interested, but didn't dig her dad back then either,
- 31:38Speaker 1: Uh right, you know, yeah, she's a fine mother blanker
- 31:48Speaker 1: he knows. Uh, she had the most beautiful legs I
- 31:52Speaker 1: ever saw in my life. Now was that but it?
- 31:56Speaker 1: But it root it was? Don't you also share that
- 32:05Speaker 1: he used to hang out with Donald Trump, whom he
- 32:07Speaker 1: described as a crazy mother blanker, limited mentally, uh megalomaniac
- 32:15Speaker 1: and narcissistic. I can't stand him. Asked what his first
- 32:20Speaker 1: thoughts about the Beatles, Quincy remarked, they were the worst
- 32:23Speaker 1: musicians in the world. I thought the Rock and Roll
- 32:27Speaker 1: Hall of Fame they were no playing mother blankers. He
- 32:34Speaker 1: also alleged, yes, he's a no. If you listen to
- 32:39Speaker 1: the Beatles instrumentation, that's not what they were for. It
- 32:43Speaker 1: was the Beatles were the look and the London, the style,
- 32:48Speaker 1: the hell we love you. It was something we never
- 32:53Speaker 1: seen before. The drumming and Todds no ring a very
- 33:00Speaker 1: basic ringo was known to be the worst drummer. And
- 33:03Speaker 1: not only that, they would overdub his drumming in a
- 33:05Speaker 1: lot of sessions. So the mother the mother Blankers were
- 33:08Speaker 1: no no. I mean, look, man, they were. They had
- 33:14Speaker 1: never been seen before and they became iconic. Now, don't
- 33:19Speaker 1: take that away from him. The Beatles are iconic songwriters.
- 33:24Speaker 1: They will go down in the history and when you
- 33:27Speaker 1: broke them down, McCartney and all them boys, then the
- 33:31Speaker 1: boys with some bad boys just as a group instrumentation wise,
- 33:37Speaker 1: is what I believe Quincy said. Now that's really true,
- 33:39Speaker 1: because you listen to Beatles records many they weren't great musicians.
- 33:44Speaker 1: You're talking to a guy who's one of the greatest
- 33:46Speaker 1: composers of our turn, which is why the Beatles covered
- 33:50Speaker 1: up when they went live, they did a lot of
- 33:52Speaker 1: covered songs, cover songs of black artists that you know,
- 33:55Speaker 1: shaking up, and they stole a lot, and they stole
- 33:58Speaker 1: a lot. They're absolutely right, you know, they were no
- 34:01Speaker 1: playing and that's what he said, Okay, And then talking
- 34:06Speaker 1: about Michael Jackson because you knew, yeah, I mean you
- 34:08Speaker 1: never he knew Michael Jackson very well. Yeah, he produced Thriller,
- 34:12Speaker 1: biggest selling album of all time. All that. Quincy also
- 34:15Speaker 1: alleges that Michael Jackson stole a lot of stuff Michael
- 34:19Speaker 1: Jackson did. He calls him greedy. He adds that he
- 34:23Speaker 1: stole a lot. When asked what was your greatest musical innovation,
- 34:26Speaker 1: Quincy answers, everything, I've done everything. Yeah, you can't take
- 34:41Speaker 1: that away from well, he didn't really steal Michael like
- 34:47Speaker 1: the lean, the lean that Michael Jackson does in his
- 34:49Speaker 1: performance that was done in a movie called The Wizard
- 34:52Speaker 1: of oz. He wasn't the first to do that. There
- 34:54Speaker 1: were dances that were doing the moonwalk long before my
- 35:00Speaker 1: but but he put it in a place in the
- 35:04Speaker 1: scale that was new to people. You gotta remember, Michael
- 35:08Speaker 1: Jackson was the first black person ever allowed on MTV.
- 35:13Speaker 1: See y'all, y'all getting away from y'all don't know. Man,
- 35:17Speaker 1: was this world we live in that blacks were not
- 35:21Speaker 1: allowed on empty It was hard for them. No, it
- 35:25Speaker 1: wasn't hard. It was Yeah, Michael Jackson was the first
- 35:31Speaker 1: black person to get a video played on MTV. The
- 35:36Speaker 1: first they did not play them and it was a
- 35:38Speaker 1: known fact. It's just like when we started comedy two
- 35:42Speaker 1: blacks couldn't be on the same show. They were sitting
- 35:46Speaker 1: one of you home. If two blacks came into that
- 35:50Speaker 1: comedy club, one of y'all had to go. Was a
- 35:52Speaker 1: black book who had a white name like Steve call white.
- 35:59Speaker 1: So they would book. And then we get down there
- 36:01Speaker 1: and Carl Strong and Steve Harvey be on the same show.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey's did not the headliner. I gotta go home
- 36:07Speaker 1: not and drove all the way down here to Montgomery, Yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 1: from Cleveland, I got damn you don't understand, so don't
- 36:17Speaker 1: you know. And then young people today because you're not
- 36:20Speaker 1: educated to this, you don't know. You think it's just
- 36:22Speaker 1: been this oh love affair the whole time, and it's not.
- 36:26Speaker 1: It's just Michael Jackson came along and put so much
- 36:30Speaker 1: stuff in the forefront. But let me tell you something.
- 36:34Speaker 1: That moonwalking and and and all that stuff that was
- 36:37Speaker 1: in the hood. Man, that was already in the hood.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Mike just first one did it out there, and he
- 36:45Speaker 1: was famous for it, and he did it well and
- 36:48Speaker 1: blew it up. He didn't invent the moonwalk. Some black
- 36:51Speaker 1: people in moonwalking all that man. Jeffrey Dan to him,
- 36:59Speaker 1: All right, now, thank you, Quincy. More, there's more, there's more.
- 37:05Speaker 1: We don't have time right now, but there is more.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Frequency you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh, Steve
- 37:14Speaker 1: introduced Ja so Jay Can introduced the butter fly. All right,
- 37:19Speaker 1: this is all I've gotten wind of some things, and
- 37:24Speaker 1: so I'm just gonna go ahead and say I'll do

- 42:34Speaker 1: only one that said about this, I mean, Bishops that
- 42:44Speaker 1: you can't. I'm good with this, announced Smith, because I
- 42:49Speaker 1: think in order sometimes for people to grow, you have
- 42:53Speaker 1: to go. Uh you know, if you you can't grow
- 42:58Speaker 1: with it, growth requires you to go often time. And
- 43:01Speaker 1: I'm very proud of the fact that he's going. So
- 43:05Speaker 1: when y'all done, girl, y'all leaven spread your wings and
- 43:10Speaker 1: go and we and you leave and will help us
- 43:15Speaker 1: grow too. Carlo, we gotta plan a party for him
- 43:18Speaker 1: or something or going away, going away? Would you like that?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Butterfly the end of day, I'm turkey. You gotta do
- 43:26Speaker 1: something by something because he out of here to clean
- 43:31Speaker 1: out your office, Eugene and everything. God, can we leave
- 43:36Speaker 1: the door open in case things don't work out? He
- 43:38Speaker 1: can come. What you don't do is do that. So
- 43:42Speaker 1: you've been to take my key card, I can't. What
- 43:44Speaker 1: do you? Yeah? Yeah, you won't be able to come
- 43:48Speaker 1: back in here. So you're treating me like Amma Rosa.
- 43:50Speaker 1: You've been to walk me outside you No, I'm not
- 43:53Speaker 1: treating you like Ama Rosa at all. I think you've
- 43:57Speaker 1: been a wonderful addition to the show, and I think
- 43:59Speaker 1: that time has come forward to end, and so here
- 44:03Speaker 1: we go. I think you're just gonna fly live. That's
- 44:09Speaker 1: not gonna miss you so much. Mh is just not
- 44:15Speaker 1: fla butter fly fly. Yeah, well, we're gonna miss you
- 44:21Speaker 1: so much. Keep our numbers, Butterfly. Just think I said,

- 45:25Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the
- 45:28Speaker 1: hour right about four minutes after, it's Today's Strawberry letter.
- 45:31Speaker 1: But up next, nephew, here he is with today's prank
- 45:36Speaker 1: phone call. You gave me the wrong direction. Whoa who
- 45:40Speaker 1: is that? That? Another character? You kill one? I'll bring
- 45:44Speaker 1: a nothing back. You gave me the wrong directions. You
- 45:47Speaker 1: gave me the wrong directions. If you know who that was,
- 45:51Speaker 1: don't you here you go. Not gonna do is kill you.
- 46:03Speaker 1: It might have been the piece of but what you're
- 46:05Speaker 1: not gonna do is kill a player in this lady.
- 46:08Speaker 1: That's the same, damn perfect whatever. We'll go back and
- 46:12Speaker 1: do it again. If we had two days and y'all
- 46:15Speaker 1: don't quit laughing and just do know then what you're
- 46:18Speaker 1: not gonna do is talk about my nephew. You two
- 46:21Speaker 1: a great flash put y'all in the plate and y'all
- 46:24Speaker 1: sit up here telling jokes about it. Now, you wasn't
- 46:27Speaker 1: even in no damn play until he came along and
- 46:29Speaker 1: got you. We're you're gonna stop saying that because you
- 46:32Speaker 1: know it, and you're laughing when you say, but we
- 46:36Speaker 1: had two days when you're a quick talking about you
- 46:38Speaker 1: two days, we had a full week. You don't quick
- 46:41Speaker 1: talking about You gave me the wrong direction. I'm not
- 46:44Speaker 1: doing y'all man, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Tommy, I'm trying
- 46:48Speaker 1: to stop. You gave me the wrong directions. He showed
- 46:53Speaker 1: up at my dough boy. How did I give you
- 46:54Speaker 1: the wrong direction? Though? What I do? That's the name
- 46:57Speaker 1: of the pranks I called. Now, I called early and
- 47:06Speaker 1: didn't get the girl I was trying to get called
- 47:08Speaker 1: his funeral. Then I called back, so all the workers
- 47:10Speaker 1: there knew I was calling, so they finally got on
- 47:13Speaker 1: the phone and just created this confusion like we went
- 47:16Speaker 1: to the wrong bearside. Check it out. Thank you for
- 47:23Speaker 1: My name is Frederick Stammond. It down that timera. Let
- 47:27Speaker 1: me's the office one moment. It just don't it doesn't
- 47:31Speaker 1: make sense for the all ago out there like we
- 47:34Speaker 1: did and didn't running in the type of problem that Hello, listen,
- 47:39Speaker 1: my name is Frederick Stimmonds. Now my sisters, since that
- 47:44Speaker 1: is buried out there, and we come out there last
- 47:48Speaker 1: week on Monday to come out there and pray over
- 47:51Speaker 1: that the spacewa year. Now you as the one that
- 47:54Speaker 1: told us that it was a few spaces away from
- 47:58Speaker 1: the mars lamb. Now we out out there and prayed
- 48:01Speaker 1: over my suchter friends and this barrel and find out
- 48:04Speaker 1: that we were in the wrong space, and they say,
- 48:07Speaker 1: you was the one that told it to us. So
- 48:09Speaker 1: I don't even know what you're talking about. You is
- 48:11Speaker 1: the one that told us that my suchter friend. I
- 48:14Speaker 1: don't give out spaces. I'm an administrative office. I don't
- 48:17Speaker 1: know where you're worn't know what You was the one
- 48:20Speaker 1: that told us this. No, yes, you're dead. You was
- 48:24Speaker 1: the one that my grandbaby said that she talked to
- 48:27Speaker 1: the woman named Tabra, and you had us out there
- 48:30Speaker 1: standing over some white man's not a concert. So I
- 48:33Speaker 1: can't tell you we're a spaces. So your granddaughter lads
- 48:37Speaker 1: to you. Ain't nobody lied to me that you had
- 48:39Speaker 1: us out there in the wrong space. I couldn't have
- 48:41Speaker 1: had you in the wrong spaces. I don't even know
- 48:43Speaker 1: the semis here. You know what, I muna send my
- 48:46Speaker 1: grand baby up there to talk to you. Okay, I'll
- 48:49Speaker 1: be here to five. You're very mischieved. You know that
- 48:52Speaker 1: I'll be here at five o'clock. You have a good day. No,
- 48:55Speaker 1: you don't. You hang up this phone on me. You
- 48:57Speaker 1: have a good day. No, I'm not gonna have a
- 49:00Speaker 1: that that you had me praying over myself the president's body,
- 49:03Speaker 1: and that was the rang one and we's in the
- 49:06Speaker 1: praying over this white man's body. It was right. Hello,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm listening to you. You don't have an apology or nothing,
- 49:16Speaker 1: because I know I didn't tell your granddaughter where faith was.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Then what did you tell him? I don't even know
- 49:21Speaker 1: what your granddaughter is? What do you mean this demon's family?
- 49:25Speaker 1: We were not that. I don't know who the family is.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Not Salmon, that demons, demons. I don't know a Salmon's family.
- 49:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm telling you. I'm not a counselor. I
- 49:35Speaker 1: don't even deal with family. Here's what I need you
- 49:38Speaker 1: to do. Can you go out there and pray over
- 49:40Speaker 1: myself the body. I don't know where your sister is buried.
- 49:44Speaker 1: It's supposed to be six paids away from the mother limb.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I don't are there any where is it? Where is it?
- 49:54Speaker 1: We was in texting two, but there was some white
- 49:56Speaker 1: man were that. It wasn't myself the friend Okay, I
- 50:00Speaker 1: don't even know who your sister friends is. I do
- 50:04Speaker 1: not even know we're section two is whoever came into
- 50:08Speaker 1: the cemetery instead that they spoke to me. They probably
- 50:12Speaker 1: did speak to me, and I probably got the information
- 50:14Speaker 1: from a concert, but I never told them exactly where
- 50:17Speaker 1: the spot was. So if they were out there praying
- 50:20Speaker 1: over your sister and they were in the wrong spot,
- 50:23Speaker 1: that's not my problem. That praying over something white man,
- 50:26Speaker 1: that's not my problem, sir, you wrong spot, if you
- 50:30Speaker 1: gave the wrong information, it is I don't get the
- 50:34Speaker 1: wrong information. Tells them, yes, she's in section two. That
- 50:38Speaker 1: did not physically go out there and point to the
- 50:40Speaker 1: spot to tell them to pray over that spot. Let
- 50:42Speaker 1: me explain what I'm trying to stop from happening. If
- 50:46Speaker 1: my people come out there, it's gonna be some more
- 50:48Speaker 1: bodies getting buried, and I don't almost nobody to get her.
- 50:51Speaker 1: I mean, your family can come up here. It's not
- 50:53Speaker 1: gonna be no more bodies than buried than What they
- 50:55Speaker 1: can do is come up here, right and we can
- 50:57Speaker 1: conversate about this, but it's not going to be a
- 51:00Speaker 1: world here. I want you to go out there and
- 51:02Speaker 1: you pray over friends and the body. I'm not going
- 51:05Speaker 1: out to pray over nobody's body. It's not Remember I
- 51:10Speaker 1: didn't tell them the wrong information. Do you love the Lord?
- 51:14Speaker 1: Do you love the Lord? Then you ought to have
- 51:18Speaker 1: some sympathy. I want you to bout your head right now. No,
- 51:22Speaker 1: I'm going to end this conversation. Work to do now,
- 51:28Speaker 1: and trust to me, I will be hearing to five o'clock.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing for you? Going and
- 51:33Speaker 1: I'm ending the car. Okay, this nephew Tommy from the
- 51:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got drank COVID. You
- 51:46Speaker 1: are crazy. Your sister to me because sets you up, baby,
- 51:53Speaker 1: and you just got it baby from Nephew Tommy. Well,
- 51:59Speaker 1: you stand in your ground. You like this guys, you
- 52:02Speaker 1: wouldn't prayed over the wrong boy. That don't mean that
- 52:04Speaker 1: I ain't all right. Check it out. You gotta tell
- 52:11Speaker 1: me one thing. What's the baddest radio show? In the
- 52:14Speaker 1: land's killed. Well, I'm trying to stay in the character.
- 52:22Speaker 1: So how co workers in the background they knew because
- 52:25Speaker 1: I'd already called earlier, but she wasn't at work yet.
- 52:29Speaker 1: That is, we are at the cemetery. Wrong direction. You
- 52:33Speaker 1: gave me the room direction just pretty good. We bring
- 52:38Speaker 1: it back Hess for me to do. No, Papa won't
- 52:45Speaker 1: get on this show and ruining that place. Papa, Steve,
- 52:49Speaker 1: what is that? What you ain't gonna you shut up? Toment.
- 52:54Speaker 1: I told you black then not to bring me up.
- 52:57Speaker 1: You sound like saying in the Bobba said you hang
- 53:00Speaker 1: me on and and put me in the play in
- 53:02Speaker 1: the all of the Unknown. That's who said was said
- 53:05Speaker 1: with Bret and barber shop. When you're gonna resurrect me
- 53:13Speaker 1: up to two? Me? God? Who I have? Got my money?
- 53:22Speaker 1: Get my prank? Call Brank CD in Walmar. End of
- 53:29Speaker 1: the intermission in Walmart a half time were about the money,
- 53:36Speaker 1: won't he do it? Prank c D in Walmart? Coming
- 53:42Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour Strawberry Letters. You're
- 53:45Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Today's Strawberry Letter
- 53:49Speaker 1: is up next, and it is a good one. But
- 53:51Speaker 1: first bravo and a huge thank you to House Minority
- 53:55Speaker 1: leader at Nancy Pelosi. He gave a marathon speech. What
- 53:59Speaker 1: was it like eight hours or something? Uh? Yeah, in
- 54:03Speaker 1: support of Democrats hoped to legalize the status of the
- 54:06Speaker 1: young immigrants known as dreamers. The more than eight hours
- 54:09Speaker 1: speech is the longest given by any House member and
- 54:13Speaker 1: at least one hundred years and possibly in history. Uh
- 54:18Speaker 1: and yeah, and the seventies seven year old did it
- 54:23Speaker 1: standing the entire time? Get this in four inch heels? Yeah, yes, yes, yes,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I love that. Yes. And she did not take a
- 54:39Speaker 1: bathroom break. Okay, I'm glad. Uh Mrs Pelosi started to speaking.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I think that's the point of filibustering, right, you gotta
- 54:58Speaker 1: you gotta stay there, Yeah, because if you leave somebody
- 55:01Speaker 1: else you can take your spot. Just stand there. Just
- 55:08Speaker 1: don't drink any water. How about that? Anyway? She started
- 55:14Speaker 1: speaking shortly after ten am and finished shortly after six pm.
- 55:19Speaker 1: As minority leader, she has the right to speak as
- 55:21Speaker 1: long as she wants. During the marathon speech, she said
- 55:24Speaker 1: that she would lead opposition to the two year budget
- 55:27Speaker 1: agreement negotiated in the Senate because it does not address
- 55:30Speaker 1: the legal status of those protected by DOCCA, the Deferred
- 55:34Speaker 1: Action Childhood Arrivals program that expires in March. Okay, next month.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Get ready for that? All right? Nephew, Yes she did,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and four inch fields. All right, let's get it. Buckle up,
- 55:51Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it for you. Here. It
- 55:53Speaker 1: is the Strawberry letter subject Should I give up on
- 55:57Speaker 1: my best friend? Just Stephen Shirley. I have been best
- 56:01Speaker 1: friends with someone for eighteen years. This relationship was strictly
- 56:05Speaker 1: platonic for the this period until I finally gain in
- 56:09Speaker 1: year nineteen to become more than just friends. After two
- 56:14Speaker 1: years of this, I realized that there will be no
- 56:16Speaker 1: commitment on his part, so I went ahead and explained
- 56:19Speaker 1: to him that I cannot continue with this relationship and
- 56:22Speaker 1: I need some kind of commitment. Even though he claims
- 56:24Speaker 1: that he has been with no one else. I thought,
- 56:27Speaker 1: after all these years of being friends, we would have
- 56:29Speaker 1: at least been engaged by this time. Since I broke
- 56:32Speaker 1: off the intimate relationship, he keeps calling me and wants
- 56:35Speaker 1: to be intimate. Wants me to be intimate with him,
- 56:38Speaker 1: to which I promptly hang up and ignore him. I
- 56:42Speaker 1: guess he did not get it or understand what I
- 56:45Speaker 1: said to him, the issue is this, Should I just
- 56:48Speaker 1: give up on being friends with this man who has
- 56:51Speaker 1: been my best friend for so long? Or try to
- 56:53Speaker 1: reason with him to get him to understand me? P S.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I am a woman, all right. Uh. Dear my sister,
- 57:00Speaker 1: you know all this stuff really should be discussed and
- 57:03Speaker 1: worked out if you guys are friends before you crossed
- 57:06Speaker 1: that line. You know, Um, you guys have been friends
- 57:10Speaker 1: for eighteen years, and on the nineteenth you decide to
- 57:13Speaker 1: to to give in to him. But what do you
- 57:15Speaker 1: guys talk about in those eighteen years. I mean, after
- 57:18Speaker 1: you do something like this, then you really get to
- 57:20Speaker 1: see how close you guys are as friends. Uh, now
- 57:23Speaker 1: you're friends would benefit Uh? He obviously, you know, was
- 57:27Speaker 1: saying whatever to you just to get you in bed
- 57:29Speaker 1: at the time, and he still wants to do that.
- 57:32Speaker 1: You know. I do applaud you, though, forgetting it finally
- 57:36Speaker 1: and realizing that there is no commitment here. Uh, it's
- 57:39Speaker 1: just you know, a sexual relationship between you two. Um.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to the friendship. Looks like
- 57:46Speaker 1: it just went out the door. I mean, you can
- 57:48Speaker 1: try to be friends with this guy if you want to,
- 57:50Speaker 1: but I don't think it's gonna work. I think you
- 57:51Speaker 1: crossed the line and you kind of messed it up,
- 57:53Speaker 1: and now he's only interested in, um, you know, being
- 57:56Speaker 1: your bed partner. So I mean, if I were, I
- 58:00Speaker 1: just leave it alone. You know, maybe down the road
- 58:02Speaker 1: sometimes you guys can be friends again, just blatonic friends again.
- 58:06Speaker 1: But right now now, Steve Um, I kind of have
- 58:13Speaker 1: to disagree with you on this one, Shirley, just because
- 58:18Speaker 1: of a couple of things in this letter. And then
- 58:22Speaker 1: I have a little inside track on how men think you.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Remember the other day I said that wants me and
- 58:28Speaker 1: think of you in terms of just for sex. They
- 58:31Speaker 1: normally don't graduate you to the next level. Remember I
- 58:35Speaker 1: said that. Okay, all right, let's keep that. Okay, Now
- 58:39Speaker 1: here's a deal. Uh. This woman says she's been best
- 58:43Speaker 1: friends with someone for eighteen years strictly plutonic, until I
- 58:52Speaker 1: finally gave in in year number nineteen. That's the key
- 58:57Speaker 1: to this whole letter, year nine team, which means eighteen
- 59:03Speaker 1: years little hey Hey was having you know, just keeping
- 59:07Speaker 1: on that string, talking as friends, and they probably formed
- 59:11Speaker 1: a really good friendship over that time because there was
- 59:15Speaker 1: nothing more to it. But he just kept on. Here's
- 59:20Speaker 1: the only mistake that was made. And I've said it
- 59:24Speaker 1: a thousand times, and like Shirley said, this is the
- 59:27Speaker 1: part I agree. Y'all been talking for eighteen years. You
- 59:31Speaker 1: didn't discuss this at all for eighteen years. Hell, you
- 59:36Speaker 1: way beyond the ninety route you were you in the
- 59:41Speaker 1: eight you had time to figure out everything. But guess what,
- 59:45Speaker 1: there's too many holes in this letter and stuff. You'd
- 59:49Speaker 1: act like you don't know nothing about You finally gave
- 59:52Speaker 1: in and year nineteen to become more than friends. After
- 59:56Speaker 1: two years of this, I realized that that would be commitment.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: It took you two years to figure out that would
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: be no commitment. Well, in the two years of sleeping
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: with him, was a commitment of requirement? Or did you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: just foolishly set yourself out there after eighteen years of
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: talking and just put yourself out there and no commitment?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: After eighteen years of talking to this guy, this should
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: have been nothing but a commitment from you for this
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to even move to the next level. Hell, you become
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: best friends. I really. I hear people say it all
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the time. It's better to become friends with the person
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: then lovers. I hear that all the time. If you
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: don't set your standards and requirements up in the beginning,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you can flip it around. I'll show you how to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: do it when we come back. But you could flip
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it around. I thought, after all those years of being friends,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: we could at least have been engaged by this time.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: You thought you could be engaged. You did not require
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: that you be engaged. And and it could be very
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: true that he's been with no one else. But you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: thought after all those years that we would at least
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: be engaged by now, that's what you thought. That was
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: never a requirement in the beginning. It's really not too
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: late for you or anybody else that finds themselves in
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the situation like that. I will tell you something that
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you can attempt to do when we come back, and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: it'll work if he's feeling you and loving you. Now,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: if he's not loving you, this response that I'm gonna
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: give you when I come back will not work. All right,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up in
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. You're listening to Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: All right, listen, coming up, Steve Harvey and our friends
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Steven A. Smith are going to be talking about this
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: big Cleveland Cavaliers trade with Isaiah Thomas. This is big news. Yeah,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: this is big news. Wait till you hear this one.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: So that's coming up. Also, um My gaps is coming up.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: We'll talk about that as well. But right now, let's
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: go Steve with part two of your response to today's
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. Should I give up on my best friend? Um?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: First of all, this woman was in a plutonic relationship
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: with this man for eighteen years and then year nineteen,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: she says in the letter, until I finally gave in
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: year nineteen, became more than friends. But after two years
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: she realized that there's gonna be no commitment on his part.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: So I explained to him that I cannot continue with
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: this relationship. I need some kind of commitment, even though
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: he claims he's been with no one else all those
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: years of being friends. Uh. We she figured after all
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: of this, she figured, all those years of being friends,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: that we would at least have been engaged by now.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I've reminded her that if you do not make the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: engagement a requirement. See men, let me let me share
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: something with you. Women have a dream of getting married
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: one day most women, not all, but most. Most women
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: dream of their wedding day. They prepared for it from
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: the times their kids. Okay, a man does not dream
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: of his wedding day. A man only dreams of the
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: woman of his dreams. Do you understand me? So see
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: if we can get the woman of our dreams without
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the wedding day. Hey, are we cool? Get that through
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: your head? Were cool? If you can help us with
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: our dreams, support us, give us that sweet, sweet loving
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you giving us, you know, help us with the bills,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: give us some kids. Were cool? We have the woman
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: of our dreams. We don't have to It's no, no, no,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: no no. I'm just saying. No man dreams of his
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: wedding day. The wedding day is usually the dream of
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: a woman. Understand what I'm saying now. There are plenty
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: of men who will ask you to marry them, but
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: these are usually men who know that that's a requirement
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: of yours. I didn't that men didn't do, but I didn't. Look.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: They've got bridle shops, they got bridle magazines, wedding planners. Guys.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Guys have a tux sedo shop. And when we get
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: through with the tucks, we take it back. Come on now,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: women keep their dressing storage for years. Pick out the veils,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: what color flutes, what the invitation is gonna look like?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Godn't give damn by none of that. We just want
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: the girl. The day is your day. If you don't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: make your day a priority, then it's not a priority
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: in our heart. We just won't you. And if we
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: can get you without all that, then we'll do it.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: But if we know that that's a requirement to have you,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: then bam, that's how we do it. So if you're
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: a relationship and it's been going on for a while
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and you want to change the game, then you have
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to change the requirements to play the game. And if
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a god loves you and wants to continue to play
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: the game, then he'll give you what you want. You
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: have got to get what you want. So you're saying
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: there's a chance for her to be with this guy's absolutely,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: absolutely there is a chance, but it has to be
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: a requirement. But see guess what, he keeps calling back
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: asking for the sex. But if she go back and
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: just have it without the requirement, being man, she's doing
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: She's taking the right step. She just gotta stay to it.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: She's taking the right step. She just had to stay
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: to it and set this guy down because they gotta
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: be of some age about right about now. You know,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Dy've got to be a little bit older than So
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: make your move and hold to it. And if he's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: loving you, he'll do it. If he don't love you,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: he's not gonna do it. All right, Steve, we gotta
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: get out of here, Email us or Instagram. That's your
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at my Girls Shirley Pitching Gears. Now, now, Carla,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you know we love us some. Tiana Taylor, I mean
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you know, yeah, she's beautiful, she's fed, she's a wife,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: she's a mom, all those things. She's very, very talented.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And Steve Tianna, if you know this, recently celebrated your
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: daughter Laurie's twenty one birthday in Cabo uh last last month. Yeah. Well, now,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Tiana Taylor is at nail salon entrepreneur. To her resume,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: she's a singer, she's a dancer, actress, all of that.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: She recently announced she's opening Juny Beat Nails, named after
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: her daughter, in New York. Tana posted a snap on
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: the Gram of what appears to be construction underway for
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: the shop, and caption the post thinking of a master
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: plan and nineties themed nail song A nail salon, Yeah
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: in Harlem, Right, the vision has finally come to life
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: and it's ready. Yeah. Uh so, come one, come all,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: and no matter what shape, size, color, or gender, it's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: all good with us. She says, she wants to continue
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: to create great opportunities for her community and our talented.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: You say, that's a great idea, excellent idea. Let me
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: tell you what. Neil salons makes so much money because
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: it is a continuous business that women just say they
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: gotta get their nails done. You gotta get their hair done,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: they gotta get their feet done. And when you have
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: a nail a nail shop, you have eat customers. Your
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: customers are they're just they're constantly coming in all the time.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: It's something that women are going to do, get their
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: nails done, get their hair done. And if you open,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: like if you open twenty four hour, you have some
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: men men get defeat done. I can't go because there's
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: a toe nail that because just just get ugly. Take
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: that sock off when they see it. What's up? What's
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: wrong your toe? What's wrong your toe? Just bump the
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: other to look like dad. Just soak them, soak them all.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You're calling technicians over everybody, put food down, come to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: get everybody, come over, coming out the back everything. I can't.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I don't go in there. Why do you stick got soccer?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Because I just want you to do one toe? Do
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: one fot. Don't worry about I'm paying the full price.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I'm paying the full pright what you're just doing? One foot?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I want to get that out of foot. Come man,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: that's a great business. Can you make appointments jay? Or
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: do you just walk in? You can make appointments in
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: now shop so you can do you do? You? What
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: tell you you get with the Toes' gotta't gotta say
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: come down my keys. I didn't all right, Uh, don't forget.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Coming up, we have Mike Epps in the building and
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: then Stephen and Steve. Stephen Steve Harvey and Stephen A.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Smith are gonna talk sports. Coming up next, you're to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: see the Steve Harvey Morning Show Coming up at the
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: top of the hour. Comedian Mike Apps will be our
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: special guests. He's going to tell us about the b
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: ET Social Awards airing this Sunday. Hey, folks, Uh, being
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: from Cleveland, I had to get my main bor on
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: the phone to explain this blockbuster trade to me that
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the Calves and the Lakers did. Ladies and gentlemen. One
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: of the greatest sports commentators living today, Stephen A. Smith. Stephen,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: he just explain it all. What happened, Why did it happen,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: What does this mean? What doesn't mean much to you?
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: My my my brother from Cleveland. I'm sorry to inform
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: you just does not equal championship. It does stop, It
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: does stop the bleeding, it does stop the hemorrhaging. Clarkson
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and Larry Nange Jor young brothers who can play. Uh,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: they're gonna be a bit more consistent and more I
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: orderly did devoid of the drama. They're gonna be out there,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: They're gonna go on the court. They're gonna be about
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the business of performing and doing their job. I do
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: think that with all that has happened in Cleveland this year,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the various teams that could have easily knocked you all
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: off meeting Boston, Toronto, uh, to name a few. But
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: when you get Madge Jr. And you get clarks and
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I definitely think that helps you immensely. And I do
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: think that you know, it's the ship will get stared
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: in the right direction and at least you'll probably get
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: back to the farther m hmm. Okay, but it ain't
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: enough to be going to state a man, it's Larry
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Larry Nass a good player that we have two good players, well,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: clarks said. Clarkson can put the ball in the hole.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: He's not a point guard, but you can put him
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: at the two spots and he'd be more consistent than
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the jr. And I think that's a plus in that regard.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: So again, you'll be devoided to drama because he conceived
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: here's what's on on in your tax. Lebron James came
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: into the season. He didn't want Kyrie traded. He wanted
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to keep Kyrie, even though he was one of the
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: people that didn't mind Kyrie get traded. There was a
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: deal initially on the table where y'all could have had
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Eric fled So and Paul George, but in order to
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: make the move, the ownership wanted Lebron to commit. He
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: wouldn't commit. Lebron wanted them to keep Kyrie. After that
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: fell through, but they wanted him to commit. He wouldn't commit,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: so Gilbert said, to hell with it, Wat should I
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: listen to you? Trade Kyrie? Because Kyrie was talking about
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: how he was gonna suddenly be injured if you didn't
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: trade him, so he had to make that move. You
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: get crowded in Isaiah Thomas in returned. Lebron wasn't happy
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: about that, so he and Dan Gilbert on the opposite
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: end of the spectrum button heads with one another because
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Gilbert wanted to commit for years. Lebron wants to be
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: a free agent this summer, and as a result, since
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: they can't reaching the court, everybody else's suffering. Tristan Thompson's
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: messing with one of the Kardashi is keaven loved. Let
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: me let me tell you something right now, y'all. You
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: know I gotta recover role in general hospital and damn
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: it just just so far free in Cleveland was better
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: than General Hospital. Before you get out of here, what
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: is Lebron gonna do at the end of the season
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: where he tests the free agent market as well? He
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: definitely would test the free agent market because he has
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a no way, no trade clause that he refuses to
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: wag because in Dan Gilbert's perfect world, let me tell
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: you something, right now, they're giving them the custer. They
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: wouldn't mind Lebron leaving because of the drama they believe,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: and they're trying to perpetrate that he puts out there.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: But he's not gonna trade waivers, no trade clause. He's
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: gonna stay with the team. Then approach free agency and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: if you don't put yourself in a position to make
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: some kind of blockbust the move. I think Lebron is
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: gonna be gone, but it remains to be seen who's
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: gonna be in a position to get And remember, he
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: wants max dollars and he deserves it because he's the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: best in the world. So you're talking about a five
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: year in excess a two hundred million dollars. How many
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: people are gonna have that room available? And who's Lebron
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: is gonna want to go to where you can afford
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to pay him while keeping the nucleus of your team intact,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: so you can't compete for a championship. I don't know
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: who that answer is. Some people say Houston, some people
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: say San Antonio. To elect the degree they're saying the Lakers.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: One minute you're hearing Paul George would love to play
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: with Lebron. Another minute you're hearing him say hell no,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: because you know what I love being here at Okay
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: see well, Russell Westbrook. We don't know anything other than
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: it's all about drama, which is exactly how Lebron likes it.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Regardless of what he said. Can us go to the championship? Yes,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: they can. I think they're the biggest threat to O
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Golden State right now because James Harden is clearly the
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: leading candidate for League MVP. Honest and Chris Ballast and
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: station lives well together that twenty five and three with
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: one another in the lineup together, they can put the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: ball in the hole. They spread the basketball. Other guys
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: have stepped up, but that's in the regular season and
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the postseason where you don't have back to back where
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: you get to lock down, and Golden States has all
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: these long defenders. James Harden with CP three is gonna
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: have to be other worldly in order for them to
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: do it. That's the only condition under which they could
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: beat go to State. But it's not beyond the rum
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: of possibility that they could pull it off because James Harden.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, it's official. He is the heir apparent
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: to Kobe Bryant. He has a robb, he is the
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: leading for League MVP, and he is I think Lebron
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: is looking at Houston. Yeah, I think that's what's gonna happen,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: because that's the only way to compete with Golden State.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: But you're right, Steve, But here's the problem. They've already
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: guaranteed CP three max dollars. You gave you re up
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: James Harden. We're over the course of the next five years,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: he's making about two and twenty eight millions. How much
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: money you guys, all the player toy. We got CP three,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: one of the best point guards in the game, and
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: we got the two greatest scores out there, arguably next
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: with Stephan Durant on the other team, we we can
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: go phone five. I'm gonna I'm gonna end it. I'm
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: gonna end it this way. NBA rules and by little
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: stipulate you must have five guys on the court. State, Okay,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: so you gotta pay. You gotta pay the other two
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: guys at least that you have to have, and you're
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: supposed to have at least the roster twelve to fifty.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I bet you that you want me to tell you
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: what I bet you on, Steve. I bet you. I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: bet you you wouldn't do it for a minimum salary.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Not today's NBA economy got this discussion. Thank you, Steve.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Coming up, Mike Epp, you're listening, Steve, he asked, Promise
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: to everybody. We got a special guest on the phone,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: longtime family member, friend of ours. Uh, one of the
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: one of the great stand ups of our time has
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: really made a run of it. But he's a movie star,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: television star, he's all of that, and now he's producing.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: He's got a new show coming out on b ET,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the Social Media Awards, Ladies and Gentlemen of b ETS
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: first ever Social Awards, It asked Sunday at temp him.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: When we don't find out more about it, please welcome
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: to the legend. Mike Epp, make mo go up. Yeah, man,

- 1:17:07Speaker 1: be good. This is a new wage. Let me ask
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you something when y'all talking about social media awards, y'all
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: going like all through social media finding out like best
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: clips or biggest views and stuff like that. What what
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: what is it exactly? Yeah? Well, we got different categories, Steve,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: we got we got we got a category called It's
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: a Way, and it's a Way category is a category
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: to honor the music people that have made an impact
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: on social media, like Savage and uh Oozy Verd. And
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: then we got another category called laugh My a Off
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: and it's got people like DC Young, Flying Guest, Hilarious.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: We got different categories that that that people are gonna
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: be under who made an impact in two thousands seventeen,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: so they're going to be receiving an award. Hey, Mike,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: y'all got best ass whooping on there? Because I saw
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the incredible as whopping on you. That's why you know
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that's on there. Yeah. Hey, man, you got Michael Blaxton.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: It's hosting the show there. Ruth thought of this here,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: and you know what Michael Blackton he is so he
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: is so president on social media and his outfits are
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: so crazy, and you know, because he's just he's really
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: a neutral guy who was like, that's the guy to
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: play you with, you know what I mean. He's funny too,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: He's very funny. Well, man, you had on this show,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: uh at the BT Social Award is gonna be following
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: everybody some of the biggest moments, hashtags, and trends of
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the year. It's a one hour show and it's live
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: from Tyler Pair of studios in Atlanta. Okay, man, I
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: didn't know he had a big arena like that. Yeah,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: he got the whole base man. Oh so so this's
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: from his new spot. Yeah, oh that boy. Yeah, it's
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: like a city down there. And and from from what
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I heard, you know, people they hearing up and made
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: made this a note for me. They said, you can't
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: get arrested on his uh studios. Hey man, you know,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: but I think this is gonna be good. I think
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: the kids is gonna enjoy it, man. I mean, it's
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: it's a new wave man. You know, a lot of
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: a lot of older people they can't really get with it,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And I can remember putting
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: flyers on people's cars and stuff, like a man. So well,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: let me tell you something that were over thirteen million
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: votes for these categories that we're gonna see Sunday nights.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Social media is selling more things than TV commercials nowadays.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: So let me ask you something, Mike, you think it's
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: gonna be an annual show. I think it is, Steve.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I think this is the first one. We kind of
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: got a little bit of pushback from the celebrities because
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: they didn't quite know what it was. But I think
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: after they see it this year, everybody's gonna be more
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: comfortable with it. Because when you say social media sometime
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: and you wanna uh cross celebrities in it, they kind
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: of get nervous about it because they don't know what
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: direction they're going, you know, because because you get be
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: embarrassed and all kinds of different stuff on social media.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: So after they see this year, I think they're gonna
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: know what it is and uh embrace it and it's
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: gonna be good Man. Well man, we're gonna be tuning
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: in Sunday night, Mike to check it out. We'll be
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: watching for that food. Michael Blackson, I'm gonna be Michael
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: black just because he just money and then you don't
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: know how to hell they got. Mike ELPs, Executive BC
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Social Ward premiers this Sunday night, February level that ten
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: pm Eastern on b E t A. We got love
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: for you boy kill him? Hey man, much love out
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: there man, and uh just I'm just playing that up.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: I'm just hoping that I don't know Quincy Jones man
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: right there, man four can man? Don don't pushing scan me? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: would have been out to us. How anybody been quite
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: a few times. Man, I'm sitting up here. Maver's trying
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: to remember he got doing He's gonna get what I say.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Mike is cracking up. I've been looking in the marriage
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: trying to see if I didn't have something done to Rundo. Yeah,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: what women were remember, I'm telling it all. I was
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: over there, pocket over there, keep me out of that
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: was over here Sunday. The b ET Social Awards premieres
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: this Sunday night, February eleven and ten pm Eastern on
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: B E TAY. Thank you, Mike Caps, We love you.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, listen, millennials
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: are going broke. I think we all have millennials. Yeah,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I don't have. Yeah, you have a genny. Yeah, you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: have one of those, Carlin. We all have millennials here.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: They say they're going broke because of social media, though,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: according to research by Alian's Life of Millennials, that's compared
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: to eight percent of Gen xers and seven percent of
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Baby boomers say they've spent money they didn't have because
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: of something they saw on social media. Yeah yeah with
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: our money, right, not keeping away, but we have jobs,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: we can buy it our kids. Uh, all right. It
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: seems lots of millennials feel pressured to keep up appearances,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: with nearly fifty percent saying they're influenced by their friends
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: posts of lavish vacations and lifestyles. Now, according to the survey,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: social media has become the millennials financial Achilles. Heel, all right, yeah,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you agree, not have that problem. It's on a polar road.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: And if you saw it when you were cutting grass
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and collecting bottles and all that stuff you get money,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: it was a whole different story. It was a hustle, yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: or you go allowances. I think it's more reactionary spending
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: available to young people now, compulsive spending. I mean, you know,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I think they could just press a button and it's done. Yeah,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: you know it wasn't though we had to get up,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: go to the store find it all. Like it. You
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: can just do compulse it buying and you can press
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: a button and press a button. I got that, or
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I got that and I got that and next thing,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you know, no, you don't have that. And I think
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that's a big cause of it, right there, the accessibility
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: of everything, and it's so easy to do, and we
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: didn't get him a credit card to do it. That's
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the problem because the parents, you guys live a better
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: lifestyle than how our parents did, so you're able to
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: give your kids. Yeah, but you know, I mean you
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: gotta give him a debit card because that's everything set
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: up on that, you know what I mean. You don't
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: want them carrying to cash, so you give him a
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: debit card. But you've got to teach them. And that's
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the struggle. Uh, My boys are a better at it.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: What Morgan is really good with money. But Morgan and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: her husband are very very self sufficient. Calling and her
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: husband are very selfishufficient. Brandy is out, she's self sufficient.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: My oldest son, I don't have to concern myself with him.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Lauren went and lost damn. Well, then the two that's
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: always had it good. Yeah, yeah, them two right there
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: ain't handle They ain't handled. Are you still in the
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: given situation of their lives? Meaning if they don't have
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: it you am yeah? Yeah, yeah, my daughters yeah yeah,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if they come to me with
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: a situation and I'm gonna help you before I have
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: to let them have to go to some man, yeah,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: you know, I'll help them before they have to go
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: to some man, because then I know that comes with
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: some stipulation. So yeah, well, one of my daughters just
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: text me today. You know, they make me sick, don't
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the way they text? Hey dad? You know what? But
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: put something? Are you? Yeah, it's really not a lot
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: behind the big and that they do because it's so short.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: It's not but I don't but don't text me Hey dad,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: question mark. I'm busy. I got stuff to do. And
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: but they text like they talk hey Dad, and then
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: they wait on you to go hey girl, and then
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: they go what you're doing? And then it took me
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: fair to find out what w y D was. So
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: I said, walking down, I love it. I love our millennials.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: And then they're gonna go back and forth like that,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: and I don't have that kind of time, So I
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: or the Hey dad, what do you want? You know,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: because I don't have time to take back go hey you?
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: How you doing today? How you that w y D?
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: I ain't got time for that. Figure out. I wish
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: they had. Well we had just a J. C. Painted cat.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: You better get busy. I say, what could that do
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: to call somebody else? All right, we'll have more of
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We've been talking about this.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Quincy Jones has been saying a lot of interesting things lately. Uh.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: We remember last week we talked about his twenty two girlfriends.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: He said he had cool with friends around the world.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: He talked about that, but at one time, he says
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: he also dated the president's daughter, Ivanka Trump. Now, this
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: is an interview he gave with Vulture magazine. Quincy says
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: that the matchmaker was none other than Tommy Hill Figure. Yeah,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: he says, I used to date iv Anka. Uh, Tommy
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: Hill Figure who was working with my daughter Cadata said
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Ivanka wants to have dinner with you, And yes, he
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: was interested. Keep going, there's more, Please keep listening because
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: this line coming up this for you, but didn't uh
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: uh And yes he was interested, but didn't dig her
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: dad back then either. Uh, she's right, you know, Yeah,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: she's a fine mother blanker. He knows. Uh. She had
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: the most beautiful legs I ever saw in my life.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Now was that but it? But it really was? It was. Yeah.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: You also share that he used to hang out with
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Donald Trump, whom he described as a crazy mother blanker
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: limited mentally, uh, megalomaniac and narcissistic. I can't stand him.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Asked what his first thoughts about the Beatles, Quincy remarked,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: they were the worst musicians in the world. I thought
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: they rock and roll Hall of fame. They could. They
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: were no playing mother Blankers love you. It was something
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: we never seen before. The drumming and the guitars. No,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Ringo was known to be the worst drummer, and not
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: only that, they would overdub his drumming in a lot
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: of sessions. So the mother Bankers were no said they
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: were playing. I mean, look, man, they they had never
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: been seen before, and they became iconic. Now, don't take
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: that away from him. The Beatles are iconic, great songwriters.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: They will go down in history. And when you broke
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: them down, McCartney and all the boys with some bad
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: boys just as a group instrumentation wise, is what I
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: believe Quincy said. Now that's really true. You listen to
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: beatlet records. Many they weren't great musicians. You're talking to
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: a guy who's one of the greatest composers of our turn,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: which is the Beatles covered up when they went live.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: They did a lot of covered songs, cover songs of
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: black artists that you know, shaking up, and they stole
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: a lot, and they stole a lot. They're absolutely right,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: you know, they were no playing and that's what he said. Okay,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: and then talking about Michael Jackson because you knew, I
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: mean you never he knew Michael Jackson very well. Yeah,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: he produced Thriller, biggest selling album of all time. All that.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: Quincy also alleges that Michael Jackson stole a lot of stuff.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: We're gonna have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: All right, here we are, Steve. We've come to the
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: end of our show. Wow, lot of stuff happened on
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: this show today. Uh. So here we go with just
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: one more thing in your closing remarks. UH, Today I
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: want to talk to something about fear. Yesterday we talked
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: about disappointment. Today I want to talk to you about fear. Um.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: Fear is a very very real emotion. Everybody experiences it
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: on some level or another. There's not a person alive
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: that does not experience fear on some level. Don't you
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: believe that for a minute. I face it all the time.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: I know a lot of other people who face it.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: I know some very very successful people who have had
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: to face it and continue to face it. Fear is
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: so big and so prevalent today that the number one
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: cause of failure is fear. Nothing produces more failure than
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: does fear. It is the fear of failure that freezes
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: people before they even start. It is the fear of
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: failure that causes you to second guess. It is the
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: fear of failure that causes you not to want to
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: deal with the rejection and the potential hurt that failure causes.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: So fear cripples you on so many levels. Fear is
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: the number one cause of failure in this country. Okay,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: but how is it that some people somehow manage to
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: get by anyway? What is it that you can do
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: that would help you overcome whatever fear you're facing. M Well,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: here's what I was taught, and this has helped me
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: in my life, my career, my family, my jobs, my ambition, everything.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: To overcome fear, you overcome fear with your dreams. I
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: want y'all to listen to me closely. Now, how do
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: you overcome fear? You overcome fear with your dreams? Steve,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: How my dreams gonna make me overcome my fear? Because
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: I want you to listen to me. Because the dream
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: is everything. The Bible says a man without a dream
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: or vision shall perish. The dream is everything. See, if
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: you have no dreams and visions, you will perish. You
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: were de in fear. You were die sitting somewhere in
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: fear without dreams and visions. Dreams are the counterpoint to
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: all fear. Because listen to this. If you dream, I
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: want you to dream so big. I want you to
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: want something so incredible. I want you to dream of
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: having something that's so spectacular that if it doesn't happen,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you would be miserable. Man, if I don't make this
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: dream come true, I'm gonna be miserable. I want you
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: to dream so big that not attaining that dream would
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: absolutely be horrible for you. I want you to dream
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: so big that not reaching your dreams is unacceptable. You
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: cannot live in this world without the dream and the vision.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: You can live in this world without your mother, your father,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: your brother. You can live in this world without a wife,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: a husband. You can live in this world without a
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: lot of things. But what you cannot live in this
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: world without his dreams and visions. You will perish without
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: those things. You have to dream of something and wants something.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: That's what keeps pushing you forward. So if you want
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: to overcome your fear, you do it with your dreams.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: Dream big, man, so that and dreams so big that
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: it is unthinkable that you can't have this dream come true.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: And here's the side note. God is going to make
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: your dream come true. Business, ain't he? He do it
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: all the time. I'm telling you, man, God does it
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: all the time. He makes people's dreams come true. What
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: are you dreaming about? Explore what you're really dreaming about,
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: so you can lose your fear. You're afraid to open
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: your business because if your business fail, you lose the
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: money you save. And you won't open your business because
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: you have to, you might lose your job when your
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: boss find out. Dream bigger, Dream of what opening that
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: business could do for you, the feedom of freedom, of
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: the feeling of freedom that you would have, the extra
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: money you can may have, what you can do for
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: your family, the things you can leave a legacy of.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Maybe your dream ain't big enough. Maybe you got the
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: dream of owning a large company, maybe a mom and
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: pop store. Maybe you dream of climbing the corporate letter.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Maybe you're dreaming of becoming the supervisor or the CEO
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: or the company. You got to dream so big, man,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: that if this dream don't happen, you'll be miserable. You
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: have to dream so big that it becomes and and
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: and it's no way you can accept your life without
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: this dream. Once you can do that, you can press
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: through your fears. You can move forward, you can get
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: on with it. I'm telling y'all, I was taught this
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: to overcome fear. You overcome fear with your dreams, dreams
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: so big that if it don't happen, you will be miserable.
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: Dreams so big that if you don't attain it, it'll
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: be horrible. Dreams so big that you can't imagine your
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: life without living your dreams, and then guess what it was.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: Supply to Fortitude, the strengthen, the courage to face your
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: fear and move on with your life. Dreams is the
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: key to overcoming your fear. Y'all, have a good weekend.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: I show am I'm going to get mine nailed though.
