- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all giving them like the things in it.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Sub steh, listen to mother for set joy. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: do that turn You got to turn to turn out, turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turnmout to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing, huh, I shall will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. Can you listen to the voice? Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvin Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show? Yeah, I do. Man. God been so
- 2:17Speaker 1: good to me over the years, in spite of all
- 2:19Speaker 1: the mistakes I've made, in spite of all the dirt
- 2:23Speaker 1: I've done to myself. I'm talking about when in no
- 2:28Speaker 1: one I was wrong, His grace and mercy has forgiven
- 2:33Speaker 1: me for all of my sins. God can forgive you
- 2:38Speaker 1: of all of your sins, everything you've done. God can
- 2:42Speaker 1: forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now. Might
- 2:47Speaker 1: you might have some you know, things you got to
- 2:50Speaker 1: deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:08Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:11Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now. And then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever,
- 3:36Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going. If it ain't the truth,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know if you're trying
- 3:50Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system, if you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, He
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breath before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice. Because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with it. He's too great to be played
- 4:09Speaker 1: with it. And so with that in mind, I want
- 4:12Speaker 1: to share some positive stuff with you. To smarty man,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I want to say this now. I want to remind
- 4:16Speaker 1: you not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate
- 4:22Speaker 1: your future or your results. I'm gonna say this again.
- 4:26Speaker 1: This is important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and
- 4:31Speaker 1: situations dictate your future or your results. Do you know
- 4:38Speaker 1: that in order to get a different future or some
- 4:42Speaker 1: different results, you control that entire situation. It is you.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It is your thoughts that control the entire situation. It
- 4:51Speaker 1: is how you look at the situation that will determine
- 4:54Speaker 1: how the situation is for you. See, the same situation
- 4:59Speaker 1: can be totally different for two different people, because you
- 5:02Speaker 1: can say you look at the examples of history, just
- 5:04Speaker 1: just look look in your neighborhood. How can that? Was
- 5:08Speaker 1: a book that a guy wrote one time who had
- 5:10Speaker 1: the name. He had a name, and he did some
- 5:13Speaker 1: research and he found a guy that grew up at
- 5:16Speaker 1: the same age, in the same neighborhood as him, with
- 5:19Speaker 1: the exact same name. He went on to become a
- 5:23Speaker 1: corporate CEO. The other man was an inmate, and they
- 5:30Speaker 1: had the same name, grew up in the same neighborhood.
- 5:35Speaker 1: They were both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying
- 5:38Speaker 1: brothers men, and they grew and they went to them.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Because how can two different two people the same situation
- 5:46Speaker 1: and the results turn out so different. It is because
- 5:48Speaker 1: of the thought process of one was completely different from
- 5:52Speaker 1: the thought process of the other. You control it. You
- 5:55Speaker 1: don't have to let your circumstances and your situations dictate
- 5:59Speaker 1: your future, your results. Here's the way it works. This
- 6:04Speaker 1: is so you can understand this. Your mind. It's the
- 6:07Speaker 1: controlling factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling
- 6:13Speaker 1: factor of your outcome. The Bible says a man is
- 6:18Speaker 1: as he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here,
- 6:21Speaker 1: because this one is the real deal. This is the
- 6:25Speaker 1: basis of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's
- 6:30Speaker 1: already written in the Bible. The Bible has all the
- 6:33Speaker 1: information you need. But in case you need a little
- 6:35Speaker 1: bit of clarity in some simple modern day language, then
- 6:38Speaker 1: they have self improvement books. They are all based on
- 6:41Speaker 1: Biblical scripture. A man is as he thinketh. That's why
- 6:45Speaker 1: Norman Vincent Peale wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That's why a book came out called the Magic of
- 6:53Speaker 1: Thinking big. That's why a book came out called Think
- 6:56Speaker 1: and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hell that it all of
- 7:00Speaker 1: all these titles that I've read that have mattered in
- 7:03Speaker 1: my life the most, these three major books that I've read,
- 7:06Speaker 1: they all say one thing. Think, thinking thoughts, because that's
- 7:10Speaker 1: what controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:28Speaker 1: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: which is under the column of positive. Or you will
- 7:35Speaker 1: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the only way your mind works. Your mind
- 7:42Speaker 1: is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those workers are
- 7:48Speaker 1: controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: guess what the CEO of the company, the head, man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:02Speaker 1: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm going to take
- 8:15Speaker 1: another step forward in the development and the changing of
- 8:19Speaker 1: my life in a positive, good direction. If you come
- 8:23Speaker 1: to work and say that every day. As the CEO
- 8:25Speaker 1: the boss, the formings can only obey you, so that
- 8:30Speaker 1: what you just said was a series of positive statements,
- 8:33Speaker 1: then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said, I
- 8:37Speaker 1: got your boss right away. He turns around, he blows
- 8:40Speaker 1: the whistle. He alerts all the workers in the factory.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Today is a good day. Today we will take steps
- 8:47Speaker 1: towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves on track
- 8:51Speaker 1: to get a little bit closer to making our dreams
- 8:53Speaker 1: come true. Today we will be assembling all the things
- 8:57Speaker 1: we need to make our dreams come true and our
- 9:00Speaker 1: life better in the right direction. Everybody break. The workers
- 9:04Speaker 1: in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify
- 9:10Speaker 1: the orders given by the boss, which is you. You
- 9:14Speaker 1: are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't own
- 9:18Speaker 1: nothing else, you own everything that's going on between your
- 9:21Speaker 1: two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation. If
- 9:25Speaker 1: that corporation is a good one, it's because you set
- 9:28Speaker 1: it up that way. If your corporation is a bad one,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's because you set it up that day. If you trying,
- 9:34Speaker 1: if you pushing towards your dreams and you see the
- 9:37Speaker 1: possibility of things happening in your life is because you,
- 9:40Speaker 1: as the CEO, set it up that way. If you
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't got nothing popping, if you just want to be
- 9:45Speaker 1: a criminal taking stuff from people, throwing your life out
- 9:47Speaker 1: the window, you're gonna be an inmate. You're gonna be
- 9:49Speaker 1: sitting there there, and you're gonna be mad at everybody.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You got nobody be mad at. But shoot, you understand
- 9:54Speaker 1: what I'm telling you this morning? Huh you're listening morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, here we are. Well, look at this blessing.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Another day, another opportunity, all given by a heavenly father. Man,
- 10:10Speaker 1: that's a blessing. Man. Please don't overlook that simple thing
- 10:14Speaker 1: of waking up, because it really ain't that simple. It's
- 10:17Speaker 1: magical every day. Man, oh Man, oh Man woke up
- 10:22Speaker 1: this morning, thanked him and immediately started my health protocol.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm here, I feel good, I'm invigorated. But more than
- 10:32Speaker 1: anything else, I'm grateful. You should be the same way.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry caller for Relf the Mouth of the South,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Mississippi Monica Juniors off to date. Don't know why just
- 10:44Speaker 1: ain't here. He will be there and fine and talked
- 10:48Speaker 1: about unmercifully and the legend that he is nephew Tommy A.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Normally I say, Junior, what's on your mind? But well
- 10:58Speaker 1: he's not here, So Tommy, what's on your mine? Confirmation? Steve?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Confirmation to get I'm junior confirmation? Steve? Why I got
- 11:10Speaker 1: to get confirmation? Why she got to get confirmation? When
- 11:13Speaker 1: I tell her something? When I say, Baby, let's go
- 11:15Speaker 1: to this restaurant, she gonna say, I don't know nothing
- 11:18Speaker 1: about that restaurant. I don't know if I want to
- 11:20Speaker 1: go with that. But soon I one of her girlfriend,
- 11:21Speaker 1: Lauren say that's a good restaurant. Okay, we can go
- 11:24Speaker 1: there now. Why Why would I say ain't good enough? Steve?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Why come when I say something ain't work for day? Huh?
- 11:30Speaker 1: When I say, baby, we ought to go on vacation
- 11:32Speaker 1: to Greece, I ain't going out the country. This ain't
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's too if the country ain't good right now to
- 11:36Speaker 1: be leaving the country. Then Lauren say, oh, we ought
- 11:39Speaker 1: to go to Greece with y'all. Naw, guess what we're
- 11:41Speaker 1: going to Greece? Why, Steve? She got to get confirmation
- 11:45Speaker 1: from somebody else for us to do something. I said
- 11:48Speaker 1: let the kids go to let the boy go to
- 11:50Speaker 1: somemer vacation, somemer calf Steve, That's what I said. We
- 11:53Speaker 1: don't need to be letting the boar go down there
- 11:54Speaker 1: by we by itself. Then all of a sudden, Lawrence
- 11:57Speaker 1: stunt going. Now, guess what it's okay? Confirmation Steve? How
- 12:01Speaker 1: Come what I say ain't good A damn no, That's
- 12:03Speaker 1: all I want to know. Tell me, Steve, if I'm
- 12:06Speaker 1: the head of the house, how come what I say
- 12:08Speaker 1: don't go? How come what she needs it's confirmation from
- 12:11Speaker 1: Lauren or her friend Darren or her other friend Bail.
- 12:15Speaker 1: How Come what I say ain't good enough? Because tell
- 12:17Speaker 1: me what that means? She got an old friend her
- 12:19Speaker 1: name Bail. I'm just saying, okay, is this wife or
- 12:24Speaker 1: your wife? Those are her friend's names. But well, Junior,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I want to just point this out to you. The
- 12:37Speaker 1: key and that thing where you said was I'm supposed
- 12:41Speaker 1: to be the head of a house. You are? You are,
- 12:46Speaker 1: But I want to explain something to you about that body.
- 12:51Speaker 1: That body do like it won't to Yes, you might
- 12:55Speaker 1: be the head of that house with that body. She
- 12:59Speaker 1: did what she wanted do it doing it doing it
- 13:02Speaker 1: ain't stutting you and the title head. She gonna do
- 13:07Speaker 1: what she want to do because she is the body.
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's like if you cut the head off a chicken,
- 13:13Speaker 1: don't your chicken just still run around. It's still be
- 13:16Speaker 1: flopping around. Yeah, but that don't stop you from being
- 13:19Speaker 1: the head. Don't do it not a chicken head? About
- 13:24Speaker 1: the best way where I can tell you Welcome to marriage,
- 13:28Speaker 1: Junior Tommy. Well we're going to grease though. We're going
- 13:32Speaker 1: to grease all right. Listen. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll hear from a nephew yet
- 13:40Speaker 1: again as he runs that brank back. Right after this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening, Harpy Morning Show. It is time now to
- 13:48Speaker 1: start your morning off with the nephew. If he runs
- 13:50Speaker 1: that brank back, nephew, what you got today? We're dealing
- 13:55Speaker 1: with the toad truck driver. Now, we're dealing with the
- 13:57Speaker 1: toad truck driver. He didn't over yeah, yeah, yeah, he
- 14:02Speaker 1: didn't overjump. He didn't overjump the car. You know what
- 14:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know jumper cables. He didn't overjump it.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You know, that's just that's the such thing you can Yeah, yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: as far I'm concerned you got overjump the car. Okay,
- 14:17Speaker 1: then that's what that's what the argument is. He overjumped
- 14:20Speaker 1: the car. So let's don't care dog, just the toad
- 14:22Speaker 1: truck driver. Man, he didn't blew out the whole electrical
- 14:26Speaker 1: system in the old Hello. Hello, I'm trying. I'm trying.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to find Candy. Who is it? It's Canny man.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Okay you you you the guy with the toad truck.
- 14:36Speaker 1: You're you're the told truck driver. Yeah, that's trucking. Okay, Hey, man,
- 14:40Speaker 1: you just started my girl's call three days ago and
- 14:44Speaker 1: blew the old electrical system out. Man, I did. Hold on,
- 14:48Speaker 1: hold on, let me get back to my truck. He said,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I did what man, you do jump people's vehicles when
- 14:53Speaker 1: they when they got a stall vehicle, don't you. Wow,
- 14:55Speaker 1: that's what I do. I jumped vehicles. Yes, okay, So
- 14:58Speaker 1: you actually did my girl's car about three days ago. Man,
- 15:03Speaker 1: you just started her car. But now when you when
- 15:05Speaker 1: you over jumped it, it's what you did. Okay. You
- 15:08Speaker 1: didn't blow out the whole electrical system in the old car.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The dad board, everything is just completely out. And they
- 15:14Speaker 1: talk about this's gonna be by fifteen hundred dollars to
- 15:16Speaker 1: get fifty. I'm sorry now it was this My name
- 15:19Speaker 1: Kimp man. But you, my girl ceiler man, you jump started,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you over jumped hard car. Well just wait, wait a minute, Canada,
- 15:26Speaker 1: there's no such thing as over jumping a car. You
- 15:29Speaker 1: can't over jump a car, man. Man, let me tell
- 15:31Speaker 1: your couch now, whoever told you that? That's just now?
- 15:34Speaker 1: That's just hey. Let me tell you something. Man. You
- 15:36Speaker 1: overjump my girl's car, okay, and you blew out jump
- 15:40Speaker 1: a car? What do you mean you that's what you
- 15:42Speaker 1: did man. You didn't blow out the entire electrical system.
- 15:46Speaker 1: The entire dadge board is completely dead. The people at
- 15:48Speaker 1: the dealership saying it's gonna take fifteen hundred dollars to
- 15:51Speaker 1: get this thing backed up and running, well, he may
- 15:54Speaker 1: want to take a Copwe there, so they're trying to

- 15:58Speaker 1: things over jumping car and blowing. And if she drove
- 16:02Speaker 1: off that day, then she should be fine. I've jumped
- 16:06Speaker 1: plenty of cars. I jumped cars all day long. People
- 16:09Speaker 1: always need to jump I know one, I've never over
- 16:12Speaker 1: jumped it. Look you overjumped this car, okay, and that's
- 16:18Speaker 1: the reason why it's completely shut down. All the fuses
- 16:21Speaker 1: have blown out, everything is completely dead. You over jumped
- 16:24Speaker 1: the car, and now it's the fifteen hundred dollars. And
- 16:27Speaker 1: the reason why I'm calling you is you should be
- 16:29Speaker 1: the person paying for this. No, no, hell no, no,
- 16:33Speaker 1: Now that's sure ain't gonna happen. I'm not gonna pay
- 16:35Speaker 1: for something I didn't do it. You did it. You

- 17:05Speaker 1: get this fifteen hundred dollars to take care of this
- 17:07Speaker 1: whole car, in the whole electrical system, well, I tell

- 17:33Speaker 1: with it now. I don't. I well, don't talk to
- 17:36Speaker 1: people like this, and I should have held. Don't appreciate
- 17:39Speaker 1: it when someone talks to me like that. Whoop in
- 17:42Speaker 1: You gotta let it, do you know what? You're gonna
- 17:44Speaker 1: mess around and get your little cold truck told off something.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That's what's gonna on, and you're gonna get you whoop
- 17:51Speaker 1: in the mix to all of this. Man, let me

- 18:33Speaker 1: How you who? You got your five o'clock tomorrow, tun
- 18:37Speaker 1: you ain't got away on tomorrow. I made my decision

- 18:45Speaker 1: out of my sun, you can have it. But I

- 21:41Speaker 1: I put the apartment in my name because of his credit.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I also got a credit card for a furniture store
- 21:47Speaker 1: and maxed it out. He wants me to pay the
- 21:50Speaker 1: credit card bill since he paid the rent. I've done
- 21:53Speaker 1: my part, but he wants more. Haven't I done enough? Well,
- 21:59Speaker 1: young lady, you have to try to assess your relationship
- 22:04Speaker 1: for what it is. Are you and him in a
- 22:07Speaker 1: relationship to form a life together for this to move
- 22:11Speaker 1: forward and turn into something? Are you all in a
- 22:14Speaker 1: financial convenience relationship? If you needed somebody to share the bills,
- 22:18Speaker 1: which you should have got a roommate, and then I
- 22:23Speaker 1: would suggest a white girl with rich pans, because that
- 22:26Speaker 1: way you can always get your money. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you're out here. And when he got his heir, he
- 22:37Speaker 1: ain't got no credit. Twenty seven years old, you've assigned
- 22:41Speaker 1: yourself to a man who is already shown you signs
- 22:45Speaker 1: of irresponsibility, not ruin my credit as a young man too.
- 22:50Speaker 1: So I'm just and at the time I was making
- 22:53Speaker 1: some irresponsible decisions. A lot of was out of necessity,
- 22:57Speaker 1: but still bad decisions led to bad credit. Well, you
- 23:02Speaker 1: are now signed up for a relationship. That's that. Now
- 23:06Speaker 1: you've not only done that, you haven't moved in together.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Y'all ain't taking enough time to consider what this is.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Y'all signing up for many And that's all I got
- 23:15Speaker 1: to say, because like right now, this financial arrangement y'all
- 23:19Speaker 1: got ain't working out. Yeah, y'all can stop talking about
- 23:22Speaker 1: kids and the family because y'all can't agree on a
- 23:24Speaker 1: real simple ass thing. You paid the credit card, I'm
- 23:27Speaker 1: gonna pay the rent. Yeah, haven't ain't done enough? So
- 23:31Speaker 1: they where you are? Sandy? All right? Moving on to
- 23:35Speaker 1: TD and Harvey. TD says, I met my husband at
- 23:39Speaker 1: his first wedding. He said I was beautiful, and he

- 23:45Speaker 1: months later and he found me through a mutual friend.
- 23:49Speaker 1: We are soul mates, But how do I get over
- 23:52Speaker 1: the guilt of how we met? You met at his
- 23:55Speaker 1: win at his first wedding. Yeah, and he gave you
- 23:59Speaker 1: his card at the wed and said you was beautiful.
- 24:03Speaker 1: This marriage was off to the road after wed we're
- 24:07Speaker 1: surprising lesson eight months. So now how do you now
- 24:11Speaker 1: you didn't met your soul mate? You want to get
- 24:13Speaker 1: over the guilt of how you met? What guilt? Why
- 24:17Speaker 1: are you feeling guilt? Now? Your guilt would happen is
- 24:20Speaker 1: if y'all had a relationship during the eight most that
- 24:23Speaker 1: he was married. She didn't say that, of course. Now
- 24:28Speaker 1: if that wasn't the case, lose your guilt. If that's
- 24:31Speaker 1: your self, soul mate, there it is. But now when
- 24:34Speaker 1: y'all getting married your he don't bring him called to
- 24:39Speaker 1: the wind, go down to city hall. Take one of

- 25:06Speaker 1: and come inside. He came in yelling and said I
- 25:10Speaker 1: was out of line for how I handled the situation.
- 25:12Speaker 1: How else should I have handled it? Well, Patricia, if
- 25:17Speaker 1: you did it like this, tell your friend by and
- 25:20Speaker 1: get your ass in here like like till Patricia, bye
- 25:26Speaker 1: bye and get in here. Well that is, but you
- 25:31Speaker 1: know when he said we was outside catching up on

- 25:46Speaker 1: talking to the neighbor about catching up on God, I
- 25:49Speaker 1: was catching up on I ain't never told my wife
- 25:52Speaker 1: I was talking to a woman catching up on anything

- 26:17Speaker 1: have a belt in her hand. I mean, you know
- 26:18Speaker 1: he was out of the line the way you said.
- 26:20Speaker 1: You should have walked up on him and said, hey, y'all,
- 26:22Speaker 1: how are you doing? What y'all talking about? Hey, listen, Harold,
- 26:26Speaker 1: can I talk to you for Harola? Herman? Her right,

- 32:02Speaker 1: prospects for a reconciliation. Why're retrievable? Yeah, you word, they're
- 32:08Speaker 1: irretrievably Wow, wow, you can't. She doesn't want to get
- 32:12Speaker 1: it back. Marcella and Sterling share two children. She has
- 32:15Speaker 1: another daughter from a previous relationship. Sorry to hear that
- 32:19Speaker 1: either irretrievably. Yeah, finally an entertainment news Yeah, it really
- 32:26Speaker 1: really is. During a recent radio interview, Nick Cannon, who
- 32:30Speaker 1: of course we all know, is a father of twelve children,
- 32:33Speaker 1: said he doesn't give a monthly allowance or set amount
- 32:36Speaker 1: of money to the six women that have his children.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Nick said, I don't give myself that guideline. What they need,
- 32:44Speaker 1: they get it. Nick added there's never been something that
- 32:47Speaker 1: one of the mothers of my children is asked for
- 32:50Speaker 1: and they didn't receive. Nick also addressed the rumor that
- 32:53Speaker 1: he pays three million dollars a year in child support.
- 32:56Speaker 1: He said, I definitely spend a lot more than that
- 32:59Speaker 1: on my children. An annually. He reportedly he said, I
- 33:03Speaker 1: don't plan to ever have to participate in the government
- 33:07Speaker 1: system of a child. So there you go, because wow, okay, Nick,
- 33:14Speaker 1: y'all keep bringing the nick got a lot of kids.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Nobody news, it's something. It's just it's this child and
- 33:23Speaker 1: that child, child number two, child number twelve, China number that.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I'm just a China number eight own damn kids. Man,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I don't care what you gotta say, Steve. We hear
- 33:36Speaker 1: how Tommy feels. I just you know, I mean, I'm
- 33:40Speaker 1: pretty sure Nick is a great dad, and I believe
- 33:44Speaker 1: what he's saying about paying the money. But what is
- 33:48Speaker 1: it twelve of these, yes, twelve children. You know you
- 33:54Speaker 1: got birthdays. You're gonna spend a lot of times. It's
- 33:56Speaker 1: the time you look, man, it's cool whatever, be doing it.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It ain't my life, do you. But but you may
- 34:04Speaker 1: not be participating in the government style of But if
- 34:07Speaker 1: one of them women filed, you're gonna send the check
- 34:10Speaker 1: and everybody will keep playing this little game here all along.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Because see, let me, let me explain something. One of
- 34:16Speaker 1: them gonna think the other one getting mold in this one,
- 34:18Speaker 1: and then you're gonna get some paperwork home. Yeah. Wow,
- 34:22Speaker 1: I guess he's saying that with the government. Uh, if
- 34:25Speaker 1: he participates in that way, they won't even get as much.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Nick is a good guy. I think
- 34:35Speaker 1: Nick takes care of his kids just the way he is.
- 34:37Speaker 1: But you're gonna get some paperwork for us, so kids,
- 34:43Speaker 1: there's no way. The women are just not gonna stay
- 34:46Speaker 1: in that space. Man. Yeah. Now you have talked him
- 34:50Speaker 1: into it so far. And congratulations. Man, I don't know
- 34:52Speaker 1: what you're saying to these but yeah, but somebody gonna
- 34:56Speaker 1: get in their ill man, and you're gonna get some paperwork.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Ye a, yeah, I believe that a lot of damn kids.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I love Nick Canada and he still hosts one of
- 35:07Speaker 1: my favorite singer. I'm so glad they got jobs. Now
- 35:11Speaker 1: that didn't help a great deal. Is there an age
- 35:19Speaker 1: because y'all have older children. I still have a teenager.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Is there an age? Or you just cut it off
- 35:24Speaker 1: and you all just yeah, but they're coming back. Yeah, no, Carla,
- 35:29Speaker 1: they're coming back. Yeah. I'd just cut them all six times.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's no there's not any You would think
- 35:37Speaker 1: when they got grown and you know, or when they
- 35:39Speaker 1: had children or got their own. No, no, there's never
- 35:42Speaker 1: a time. Yeah, and then you look back on when
- 35:45Speaker 1: you stopped. Yeah, stop so early too, ask my parents
- 35:50Speaker 1: for money earlier than man. All right, all right, moving
- 35:55Speaker 1: on to uh coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:58Speaker 1: we'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 36:00Speaker 1: after this you're listening show. The shooter in Nashville, Audrey
- 36:07Speaker 1: Hale legally bought seven firearms from five different gun stores
- 36:12Speaker 1: in the city in recent years. Hale was under a
- 36:15Speaker 1: doctor's care for an emotional disorder, according to the Metropolitan
- 36:18Speaker 1: Nashville Police Chief John Drake, who added that Hale's parents
- 36:22Speaker 1: thought the one firearm they knew the shooter bought had
- 36:25Speaker 1: eventually been sold. Most states, including Tennessee, still don't have
- 36:29Speaker 1: red flag laws, which our emergency protection orders that temporarily
- 36:34Speaker 1: restrict access to guns for individuals that are at an
- 36:37Speaker 1: elevated risk to harm themselves or others now. According to
- 36:42Speaker 1: CBS News on Monday, when Audrey Hale was leaving the house,
- 36:46Speaker 1: Hale's mother asked what was inside a red bag. She
- 36:50Speaker 1: was dismissed. Hale's mother didn't look in the bag because
- 36:53Speaker 1: at the time she didn't know she didn't even know
- 36:56Speaker 1: that her daughter, Audrey Hale had any weapons. This is
- 36:59Speaker 1: a court to the chief. So the fact that she
- 37:03Speaker 1: was able to buy seven firearms, seven weapons from different
- 37:07Speaker 1: gun stores in the city. But see that should be
- 37:11Speaker 1: some responsibility. Web site. Once you buy a gun, it's entered.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You can buy the gun, but it's entered the database
- 37:20Speaker 1: national database, right. And then when you go to buy
- 37:23Speaker 1: another gun, the person who's selling you the gun can
- 37:27Speaker 1: look clearly at your name and it comes up and
- 37:30Speaker 1: says you bought two guns for this purpose. And then
- 37:32Speaker 1: we can start monitor by saying, hey, that's your limit,
- 37:36Speaker 1: or hey, or to using these guns for and then
- 37:40Speaker 1: you can send a message to the FBI this person
- 37:43Speaker 1: has fun to the third place and bought the third
- 37:47Speaker 1: assault weapon boom, and let them go to work and
- 37:50Speaker 1: figure it out. I know that's a lot of work,
- 37:53Speaker 1: but it's worth it when it comes to saving lives.
- 37:55Speaker 1: You got to go to the people that the people elected,
- 37:58Speaker 1: and the people elected Republicans, because the Republicans are the
- 38:02Speaker 1: ones who are refusing to do any form of gun laws.
- 38:06Speaker 1: It's the Republican party period, Yes, period, more guns. And
- 38:12Speaker 1: the reason is because the NIA is the largest funder
- 38:16Speaker 1: of the government of the Republican Party, and all those
- 38:20Speaker 1: individuals know that they would lose the campaign sourcing of
- 38:23Speaker 1: the nra A if they fight them, and they would
- 38:26Speaker 1: rather have their power in position and their money than
- 38:30Speaker 1: to save your children's or yo raggedy ass life, because
- 38:35Speaker 1: that's all it is to do. They need some kind
- 38:37Speaker 1: of database, like you said to Steve, if you have
- 38:40Speaker 1: mental illness, yeah, yeah, you shouldn't be allowed. And these stores, therapists, parents,
- 38:48Speaker 1: everybody need to be held responsible. Yeah. Yeah. Our prayers,
- 38:53Speaker 1: our prayers are our prayers coming up. At thirty four
- 38:56Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll check in with Steve as
- 38:59Speaker 1: we check its voiceman right after this you're listening, it's
- 39:06Speaker 1: time now to tech Steve's voicemail. If you would like
- 39:09Speaker 1: to leave Steve a message, call Um eight seven seven
- 39:11Speaker 1: twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, you
- 39:15Speaker 1: might just hear your call on the air like this
- 39:17Speaker 1: one from Steve. This is a question about a relationship
- 39:21Speaker 1: quote that you referred to on the air the other day. Hey,
- 39:24Speaker 1: uncle Steve, I was listening to your show this morning
- 39:28Speaker 1: on my way home from work, and I just wanted
- 39:31Speaker 1: to know if you figured out the guy's name of
- 39:34Speaker 1: the recording. They spoke about marriages and relationships and if
- 39:39Speaker 1: you can play it again, I got some deep stuff.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I'm thirty five and dating a sixty five year role
- 39:46Speaker 1: and it's a lot going on, but they're in particular.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Something hit me and I wanted to thank you. Thank you, Steve.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Steve probably listening to you. Hopefully I get to hear
- 39:58Speaker 1: it again. Goodbye, thirty year. His name is Neuri Mohammed.
- 40:05Speaker 1: In you RII Neuri Mohammed. He quoted UH Minister Lewis Farrakhan,
- 40:14Speaker 1: So I'm assuming he's in the nation. Great brother, man.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I have listened to him speak on a couple of occasions. Man,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and when I saw this quote that he said, it
- 40:24Speaker 1: was just so impactful, man, I mean it was. It
- 40:28Speaker 1: was so well stated. The brother's name is Neuri Mohammed.
- 40:33Speaker 1: I have no idea where it's from. I don't know
- 40:35Speaker 1: what he does, I don't know where he lived, nothing.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I just, you know, admired the way he spoke. He's
- 40:41Speaker 1: an intelligent brother. He speaks on a lot of different subjects. Man,
- 40:44Speaker 1: brother's just brilliant speaker. Man. I really like him so
- 40:48Speaker 1: What can he possibly say to a thirty five year
- 40:51Speaker 1: old lady that's dating a sixty five year old man.
- 40:55Speaker 1: That gap, that gap, dads something, that's the thirty year difference. Man. Yeah,
- 41:00Speaker 1: and that's a heck of a that's a heck of
- 41:02Speaker 1: a gap. And you got to think about that, you know.
- 41:05Speaker 1: And I don't know what it is you you know? Well, no, no,
- 41:11Speaker 1: what you mean now me and Tommy talking, Yeah, that's
- 41:15Speaker 1: a problem. See, I'm sixty six, so I'm not I'm
- 41:21Speaker 1: a year older than the man she's dating and she's
- 41:23Speaker 1: thirty five. Now I know what he wants, that's clear
- 41:28Speaker 1: as a bell. I'm trying to figure out, though, what
- 41:31Speaker 1: you want. He got to have some money and at
- 41:35Speaker 1: one point in time, I mean, you're dating him for
- 41:38Speaker 1: what Now if you're just dating him for some money
- 41:40Speaker 1: off of some company temporarily, but if you're looking at
- 41:43Speaker 1: the future, you need you need to start doing some
- 41:45Speaker 1: totally someone totally in thirty years When you sixty five,
- 41:50Speaker 1: his ass ninety five, you carry the one you can
- 41:58Speaker 1: do whatever means right there. I don't know what ninety
- 42:04Speaker 1: five year old you'd have seen that than had you go, girl,
- 42:08Speaker 1: have you seen him? I got to hell. You hate
- 42:18Speaker 1: to girl, girl, girl, girl, guess how old he is? Hated?
- 42:28Speaker 1: Oh you look good girl? How he looked at you? Hat?
- 42:40Speaker 1: All right, let's get to another call, please, all right.
- 42:44Speaker 1: This caller is upset about child support. Child child support.
- 42:49Speaker 1: See just wants you to know you've done more damage
- 42:53Speaker 1: for brothers. And it's child support things. And you can
- 42:55Speaker 1: imagine it's a whole lot of brothers in the same situation.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Our man pay job for years. You're not gonna have
- 43:02Speaker 1: a relationship with your with children. If you're not with me,
- 43:05Speaker 1: take her to court. I fits the description how many
- 43:08Speaker 1: black men you know? I want to go down in
- 43:10Speaker 1: that court? Now, come on, man, stop me out. Stop
- 43:13Speaker 1: with all that nonsense and talking about dead be dad.
- 43:17Speaker 1: It's a whole lot of brother in the situation that
- 43:21Speaker 1: I mean. Okay, I didn't First of all, brother, you
- 43:23Speaker 1: didn't tell me what situation you in. You didn't tell
- 43:27Speaker 1: me what statement I made. So what comment do you
- 43:30Speaker 1: want me to make? What comment did I make about
- 43:32Speaker 1: dead beat dads? Did you disagree with? If you're not
- 43:36Speaker 1: taking care of your child? What you want me to say? Dog?
- 43:41Speaker 1: But I want to call her to call me back
- 43:44Speaker 1: and tell me the statement I said, and tell me
- 43:46Speaker 1: what the hell are you talking about? You'll ask no,
- 43:50Speaker 1: how to could you need to learn how to communicate?
- 43:53Speaker 1: Coming up next, the Nephew and Today's frank phone Call
- 43:58Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening morning show. Coming up at
- 44:03Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,

- 45:17Speaker 1: think it's true. The whole statement for the race. When
- 45:21Speaker 1: have you've been with a black person and got them

- 53:52Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on type you gut it for
- 53:54Speaker 1: you here It is a Strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Subject I can't imagine him with Big Mama. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm a forty five year old single mother of five sons.
- 54:05Speaker 1: My two youngest sons to live with my mother because
- 54:07Speaker 1: they went to spend the night with her one time
- 54:09Speaker 1: and she never let them return to my house. I
- 54:12Speaker 1: can't fight for them because she says I'm not fit
- 54:14Speaker 1: to be their mother. This feud started about three years
- 54:17Speaker 1: ago when my mama thought she had a boyfriend. The
- 54:21Speaker 1: guy didn't want her. He was just using her for
- 54:24Speaker 1: money and transportation. He's twelve years younger, so she thought
- 54:27Speaker 1: she was doing something big. Naturally, he came on to
- 54:31Speaker 1: me because I'm my mother's twin in every way except wait.
- 54:36Speaker 1: My oldest children started calling her Big Mama when they
- 54:39Speaker 1: were young, and now she's lived up to that name.
- 54:42Speaker 1: She is big and tall with hazel eyes. She was
- 54:46Speaker 1: every man's dream back in the day, and she can't
- 54:48Speaker 1: deal with the fact that I'm pulling up the rear
- 54:51Speaker 1: and getting all of the attention now. I didn't purposely
- 54:54Speaker 1: take her man away from her. It happened gradually. She
- 54:59Speaker 1: asked me to beend the night with her one night
- 55:01Speaker 1: so I could take her to an eye appointment early
- 55:04Speaker 1: the next morning. While she slept, her boyfriend chased me
- 55:07Speaker 1: all over the house, trying to pull off my nightgown.
- 55:10Speaker 1: When he finally caught me, I played like I was
- 55:13Speaker 1: resisting him, but our chemistry was too strong to fight it.
- 55:18Speaker 1: We snuck around for two months before he finally told
- 55:21Speaker 1: Mama what was going on. My older children have adjusted
- 55:25Speaker 1: to him being with me and not Big Mama anymore.
- 55:28Speaker 1: My oldest son told me that he can't imagine my
- 55:30Speaker 1: boyfriend was ever with Big Mama. I can't either, because
- 55:34Speaker 1: he is a superstar lover and I'm surprised she could
- 55:38Speaker 1: keep up with him. I'm tired of fighting with Big Mama,
- 55:41Speaker 1: So how do I stop her? How do I get
- 55:44Speaker 1: her to stop playing games and give me my children back?
- 55:48Speaker 1: I don't understand how you can't get your children. They're
- 55:51Speaker 1: your children. How can you not get your children back
- 55:54Speaker 1: from your mom? And anyway, there's a lot left out
- 55:57Speaker 1: in this letter, but there are two different problems going
- 56:00Speaker 1: on here. They're both major. First, your mom has two
- 56:03Speaker 1: of your five children you say you can't get back.
- 56:06Speaker 1: And secondly, you slept with your mom's man. Okay, what
- 56:10Speaker 1: kind of person are you? Why are you in competition
- 56:13Speaker 1: with your own mother over a man? When you make
- 56:16Speaker 1: statements like we're alike in every way except wait, or
- 56:20Speaker 1: when you say now you're pulling up the rear and
- 56:23Speaker 1: getting all of the attention, this makes you sound like
- 56:26Speaker 1: you're jealous of your mom. With all the other men
- 56:30Speaker 1: out here, why do you have to take your mom's man.
- 56:33Speaker 1: The sad part is you don't even get it. I mean,
- 56:35Speaker 1: just because he was chasing you around the room doesn't
- 56:38Speaker 1: mean you had to let him catch you. You already
- 56:40Speaker 1: said that. You know you tried to resist him at first,
- 56:42Speaker 1: but the chemistry was too strong, and all of that
- 56:48Speaker 1: you had to prove to your mom that you could
- 56:50Speaker 1: get him. Was that what you were doing? You're the
- 56:52Speaker 1: cute one. Now what are you doing? I mean, you
- 56:56Speaker 1: have no remorse. You don't even see why your mom
- 56:58Speaker 1: is retaliating by calling you unfit and trying to keep
- 57:01Speaker 1: your two boys. There must be something, tuitor, or you
- 57:04Speaker 1: would have your boys. I really don't understand why you
- 57:07Speaker 1: can't get them that you claim you want. You know
- 57:10Speaker 1: you claim you want the boys. Um, your mom is
- 57:14Speaker 1: not the one playing games here, I think you are.
- 57:17Speaker 1: You need to grow up. You need to stop worrying
- 57:19Speaker 1: about your mom and her looks and all of that,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and worry about how you are going to be a
- 57:23Speaker 1: better person, how you're going to be a better daughter,
- 57:26Speaker 1: and how you're gonna be a better mom and get
- 57:28Speaker 1: your kids back if that's what you really want, Steve, Well,
- 57:34Speaker 1: this letter ain't gonna take long because it ain't about nothing.
- 57:37Speaker 1: This letter ain't about light of down. I don't even
- 57:39Speaker 1: know why you write. Really, what, lady, how what forty
- 57:44Speaker 1: five year old single mother with five sons. You're five,
- 57:49Speaker 1: You got five sons, and you're a single mother. You're
- 57:52Speaker 1: two younger sisters lived with my mother because they want
- 57:55Speaker 1: to spend the night with her one time, and she
- 57:58Speaker 1: never let them return to my house. I can't fight
- 58:01Speaker 1: for them because she says I'm not fit to be
- 58:04Speaker 1: their mother. What kind of statement is that? How hard
- 58:11Speaker 1: are you really fighting to try to get these kids back?
- 58:15Speaker 1: How is it that a mother can't get her kids back?
- 58:20Speaker 1: The coach didn't tell you you wasn't fit. Social services
- 58:24Speaker 1: didn't tell me, tell you wasn't fit. Child Protective Services
- 58:28Speaker 1: didn't tell you that they went over that one night
- 58:31Speaker 1: and she never sent them back. Oh, I know what's
- 58:34Speaker 1: happening there now. You say this field started about three
- 58:39Speaker 1: years ago with my mama thought she had a boardfriend.
- 58:44Speaker 1: But we're gonna find out how gonna she gonna be
- 58:46Speaker 1: banking at The guy didn't want her. He was just
- 58:50Speaker 1: using her for money and transportation twelve years younger, so
- 58:54Speaker 1: she thought she was doing something big. Naturally, he came
- 58:58Speaker 1: on to me because I'm a mother's twin in every
- 59:01Speaker 1: way except wait, wait a minute, I don't understand that.
- 59:06Speaker 1: So your mother thought she was doing something big. Naturally
- 59:11Speaker 1: he came on to me because I'm my mother's twin
- 59:14Speaker 1: in every way except wait, what do you mean naturally
- 59:18Speaker 1: he came on to you. But years that's what you
- 59:22Speaker 1: thought it was supposed to have. Why because you find
- 59:25Speaker 1: it and your mama? Why because you don't wear as
- 59:29Speaker 1: much as your mama sound to me like, and I'm
- 59:34Speaker 1: gonna say this earlier, I was gonna save it to
- 59:36Speaker 1: the end. This is a competition, Yeah, And the competition
- 59:43Speaker 1: started with you. You girl, You the forty five year
- 59:48Speaker 1: old with the five kids and can't get nobody. That's
- 59:52Speaker 1: what the problem was. Then your mama got somebody, and
- 59:56Speaker 1: now you're talking about she thinks she got a board friend. Well,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: wait till he see me, because we're twins in every
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: way except Hang on, Steve, hang on. We'll come back
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: from part two of your response at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: after be our today's strawberry letter, subject I can't imagine
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: him with Big Mama. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: let's recap today's crazy Strawberry letter. The subject I can't
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: imagine him with Big Mama. I know you couldn't. That's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the whole problem. Here's a woman that's forty five years old.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: She's a single mother. She got five soon. My two
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: youngest sons to live with my mother because they went
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to spend the night with her one time and she
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: never let them return to my house. Didn't. Lady said,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I can't fight for them because she says I'm not
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: fit to beat their mother. What Social Services didn't tell
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you this, right? Child? Protective Services didn't tell you that.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: The Resource department didn't tell you this. The people to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: cut checks ain't told you this. Your mama told you this,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and she kept the kids. Then she starts trying to
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: tell the story. The feuds started about three years ago
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: when my mama thought she had a boyfriend. The guy
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: didn't want her. He was just using her for money
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: in transportation. He twelve years younger, so she thought she
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: was doing something big. Then, right out of nowhere, naturally
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: he came on to me. Because my my mother's twinned
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: in every way except to wait. My oldest children started
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: calling her Big Mama when they were young, and now
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: she's lived up to the name. Well, you next, you know,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: since you like your mom in every way. Just want
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you to know the weight coming your way too. It
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: usually comes as we age, so get ready. We I'm
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: just like my mother. I'm my mama's twin without the way.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Oh it's coming, yeah, day now slow down. She is
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: big and tall with hazel eyes. She was every man's
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: dream back in the day. And she can't deal with
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: the fact that I'm pulling up the rear and get
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to all the attention. Now, little girl, lady, what's wrong
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: with you? What do you mean? She can't deal with
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the fact that you're pulling up the rear and getting
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: all the attention now. Oh because your mama. Oh that's right,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: that's right you you your mama's tweeting in every way
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: all so you every man's dream. Yeah, you the five sons,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: baby daddy dream too. Yeah you don't dream something so
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: so far right now you can't get one of them stage,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: but you every man's dream. You're pulling up the red now.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: She can't stand. I didn't purposely did real here come
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the next statement out of nowhere. I didn't purposely take
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: her man away from her. It happened gradually. Girl. You're
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: a mess. You You're an absolute mess. I don't know
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: if you read this letter before you sent it, but
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: if you read it, you would see this really ain't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: shining a favorable light on you at all. I don't
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: know what you thought by writing in. Shirley and I
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: were supposed to say the She asked me to spend
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: the night with her one night so I could take
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: her to an eye appointment earlier the next morning. Okay,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: while she slept, her boyfriend chased me all over the house,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: trying to pull off my nightgown. Now, we all hadn't
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: been to big mama house. We all hadn't been back
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: over to our mom and daddy house. Most our houses
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: bigger than the house we grew up in. So how
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: big was old Big Mama? Hommed? So all is chasing
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you around? How far was it when y'all running from
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: a kitchen table to the stove? Was you running from
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the tv? You running around it? Off the table in
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: front of count Big Mama? Ain't got no big house.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: This wasn't no long chase, y'all. This one the log
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: We was up down them steps. I headed, I was in,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I was down in the game room, and then I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: went around through the family room. Then I ran up
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: back down by my golf simulator. Then I came back
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: up through where we got the bowl in that lad,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: he was just chasing me, really really, lady. Later, lady,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: our father was he chasing, trying to take your night
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: down off here? Here? Got another crazy statement. When he
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: finally caught me, I played like I was resisting here,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: but our chemistry was too strong to fight. We snuck
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: around for two months before he finally told Big Mama
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: what was going on? Big Mama is your month, So
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: he just went on the toe. Hey, look, I'm gonna
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: keep I'm with yourself, and your older should have a
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: justice to him being with me and not Big Mama anymore.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: My oldest son told me that he can't imagine my
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: boyfriend was ever with Big Mama, and I can't either,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: because he is a superstar lover and I'm surprised she
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: could keep up with it. I'm tired of fighting with
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Big Mama, So how do I get her to stop
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: playing games and give me my children back? See? What
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: did happened is you took her? Man, She took your
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: kids because she told this letter out of order, y'all.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: She told you that two kids went over that to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: spend the night and she kept her But then she
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: said the huge started three years ago. So after she
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: took her man, the two kids went over that one
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: night and she kept her fast. What happened? So you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: took my man, I took your kids, and you ain't
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: fitting to be a mother. And you don't want me
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to tell everybody what you really did, and that's why
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: she can't get her kids back. Post your comments on
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: up at forty six minutes after the hour, we'll talk
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: about Steve's new game changing daily green drink Elevate right
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, So Steve, we know
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you have your new product, Elevate out the healthy green powders,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: So tell us about it. I mean, you know, on
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: the show we're using it and all that, so we
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: want to just find out more about it. Let the
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: people know Elevate. Well. I think the best way to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: talk about it. I can talk about it, but I
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: don't want to be a sales well talk. I got
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: to the health and wellnessed space to try to help
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: people change some things about them. Digested energy, brainfall, you
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: know that type of thing. And I've found a way
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: and I do it. I mean, look at I'm very
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: clear in the it's obvious. You know, my team is
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: clear that Timmy, you're using the product. Yep, juniors using
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: it calls us and my husband and you should see
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: tis So before he goes to the gym, because you know,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: he's a mortgage loan officer, so he's like on the
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: phone on zooms confidence, you know, like all day. So
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: when he gets ready to go to the gym, Steve
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: he has a tumbler and he's shaking it like like
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: it's a it's it's so good you drink. So he
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: hadn't shaking it, and then he drinks it, and then
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: he goes to the gym, so he gets to love boost.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: He loves it. He loves the chocolate. So it's a
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: it's a good boost. It's a good and it lasts
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: pretty much most of the day. That's what I like.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: And that flavor, that cherry. I don't know what y'all drinking,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: but that chair chocolate. I'm chocolate, y'all. Gotta get on
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: this chair, y'all gotta get on this, Junior. I'm on
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the cherry Tom. I'm with you. I'm on that cheer.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: You know. We get up early in the morning, up
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to do this show man, and then normally for this though,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I would tire out by two o'clock, just tire out,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: hit the wall. I don't have none of that problem
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: no more. Man. I go all day until all my
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: business is finished for the day. And you think it's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: called to elevate you, absolutely I can go. I can
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: tell before they end I was hitting the wall two o'clock.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Now I'm not. I didn't tell them. This is what
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: they had to say. This is just unsolicited. There are
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: so many testimonials out there about how good this green
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: drink is that I've come up with because I took
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: some time and I hired the right people, and this
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: drink really does what it's supposed to do. If you
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: are trying to be rid a brain fog and you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: want to be just a little bit more regular, I
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: will say this is Jackie got some issues with him
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: because it's giving me so much energy. I'm chasing her
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: around that damn house for that boy come home. I'm
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: just trying to tell you I'm chasing her way around
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: this house. I'm just saying there. Now you print about elevation,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: just go to elevate you dot com, el apostrophe evate
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: elevate you dot com. All right, all right, thank you.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, a
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: TCU football coach had a very necessary talk with his
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: team about sexual harassment, and the video has gone viral.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: We'll let you hear it right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: to Harvey Morning Show. Alight, this one's for you. This
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: is from Angela on Facebook. Angela writes, my boyfriend and
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I've been together for five years. We get along great,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: like ninety nine percent of the time, and he rarely
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: has anything bad to say about me or our relationship.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: But when he gets drunk, which is only a few
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: times year, all the things that he doesn't like about
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: me and our relationship come to the surface and he
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: wants to argue about them. Then I've told him, if
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: he really has an issue with me, we should talk
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: it out when he's sober. But when he's sober, he's
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: all He always says, he was just drunk and those
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: things don't really bother him. I'm sick of this predictable cycle,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: and wish he would just tell me if he has
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: a problem with something. It's made me not want to
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: drink as much. Should I ask him to stop drinking too?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Does he really have a problem and he's just not
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: brave enough to say anything except when he's drunk? Is
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: this a good reason for us to break up? Well
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: from Angela. Now listen to me, Ael, you're asking your
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: own question. Yeah, now do I think you should break up? No?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: But when he gets drunk, he honestly tells you what's
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: really on his mind. When he's not drunk, he has
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: a filter and he filters everything to protect your feelings.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: When he's drunk, the filter gets turned off. So now
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: he just say whatever, but there's some truth in it.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: So instead of you addressing the real problem is, which
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: is why don't you all talk about some of the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: things he said when he's drunk? And then you say
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: you do, but he said that don't really bother him. No,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you have to press the issue and you can change
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: some things. Maybe there are some things you need changing,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and maybe there are some things he needs changing, because
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you never did mention in that. When do you tell
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: him the things that he does that you don't like.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: So I think if you sit down and have that
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: conversation and say, listen, I want, I want listen to
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: like I sometimes I do a quick check. Right then
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: my girl will sit down somewhere and just write down
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the things that we like about each other, and then
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: we'll have the things right down the list. Why are
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: we sitting there in front of each other two minutes?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Right down the things you have the problems with me?
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: And then we do that and then we discuss them.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Who's as has the longest list between? Should have turned
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: over the back page? Is it going over to two minute?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Balls ink? We seeing two minutes? Things? We see it
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: two minutes? You still no, no, no, clearly that it'll
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: always be somebody ain't know nothing about you? Don't like that? Damn?
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Then I said to myself with damn, I couldn't stop there.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: So well, let me see how I can hide that
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: from now for that next item on the list? Uh?
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: All right? So what about the line? And here Steve
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: from Angela? What she says it has made her not
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: want to drink as much? Could that be the problem? Period? Well,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: it has made her not want to drink this much?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: So could it be that when y'all drinking and he
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: say all this when you're drinking, are you overreacting? You
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: see what I mean? Are you processing it correctly because
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: you're drinking too? So y'all drank together? Now here? Come now,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you got a problem with Rye you're feeling? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: watch y'all drink separately. That's an absolute sounds like, yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: see me, they all really need stopping at least drink separately,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: like he needs to drink with his board and then
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: saying what she did? Yeah, and then you ain't got
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: to hear about it because when you're all together, y'all happy,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: y'all didn't need to quit drinking together. Yeah, I've all
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: your activities can't be done together. That's true. That's very truth.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Steve Larry having up with when you get drunk. What
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: are he's saying to be talking to me? Well, I
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: don't want to talk to you. The old voice hoble
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: sol is squeaking in a day like your prayer when wealthy.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning show. Well, there's
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: one less couple in the UK this week, and apparently
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Chris Brown is to blame. A man named Dash is
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: going viral on TikTok after making claims that Chris Brown's
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: on stage anticks led to his breakup, specifically the moment
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: when Chris brought his girlfriend from the front row on
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: stage to receive a lap dance. Okay. The man shared
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: a clip from the tour ahhh. A man shared a
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: clip from the tour on TikTok where he expressed how
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: he spent over six hundred dollars on the tickets, saying quote,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I want my girlfriend back. So here's a question, Tommy,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: what did the girl do wrong? I mean, Chris invited
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: her on stage and he just gave her a laptance.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: It was part of the show. Should she have turned down,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I would have left her ass in his lap right there.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I would have left her right there in his lap.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I don't know how you're getting home. When you get
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: back to the seat, you ain't gonna see me. I'm
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: so she should have declined the invitation. How much money
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: out and spent on these tickets? Six hundred dollars? Now
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you ought to be sitting you're behind in a seat,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: not up there, sitting up there with you up there
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: with Chris Brown. Yes, he pulled her up on stage.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: That's part of the Okay, then take a backstage because
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: because because what we threw he just said he wants
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: her back. Why after she's been with Chris? All right?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: time for the round of would you rather? We'll play
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to show, it's time
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: now for a round of would you rather? Would you
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: rather sleep with someone that you absolutely cannot stand stand
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: at all? But the sex is amazing? I mean, the
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: sex is amazing. Or would you rather sleep with the
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: person you find extremely attractive? Extremely but the sex is
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: in below average? And that one you can't stand, No,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: it's gonna be all the change. I ain't gonna like
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: that one you can't stand. God, just amazing. Okay, that's
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: a for you. No, I'm going over here the one
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I love one I can't stand it ain't it ain't
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: gonna be all that amazing. So I can't not like
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: your ass and it's amazing. I just can't draw the correlation.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I'll take that really fine, chick, that's mediocre, and I
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: just let my mind have his weight. I'll work it out. Okay, Okay,

- 1:20:14Speaker 1: but what is we gonna do in June? Then? I
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: bet you didn't say it out of that window. I

- 1:20:29Speaker 1: That's what we How we grew up, Yes, how we
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: grew up. My mama told me she was gonna knock
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: me in the next week. And I don't know what
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: made me tell her to book me for third God,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I know you knocked out unconscious. Man. When I woke up,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: my daddy was standing over me, talking like, you're gonna
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: put messing with your mama. You gonna stop. Yes, smell
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of salt. I remember one time, remember phone booth. We
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: had a phone booth not far from our house, and
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: my friends and I were in there playing. So one
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: of my friends, my mom's friends, saw us and she
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: went back and told my mom that we were on
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: the phone and the phone booth calling boys. Well you know,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I'm not far from the truth, but not just no, no, no,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: just not that particular time, but yeah, it had happened.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: My mom beat the crap when I tell you, because
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: it was bad. It was bad that, you know, that
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I was calling the boys. But then her friends saw me,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: and you know you couldn't do that, not embarrass your
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: parents in front of their friends. Nope. So I got
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: two beatings in one that day. And do you know
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: my mom didn't remember that. When I brought it up,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: They oh beat you, Oh that never, mom. I saw
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: stars mom that day. Yeah, I saw Jesus A couple

- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I spanked her like maybe one real good time, but
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I didn't got your old Nie, my oldest child. Yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: but what about your youngest Jordan today? And then you're nah, nah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: but it needs to happen before he leave the house.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: It's gonna happen. Yeah, but you got to do it dad. Anymore,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: they don't do it anymore like we were raised. They don't.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: It got real close Tasha last Paul. She went to
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: her dad. She said, oh, mamma was about to hear.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, she's about to let you out.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: That day it was it was concerning for her. Yeah,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: she said, Daddy, I'm really scared. He said, yeah, I'm
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: scared for you because that day it was coming. It
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: was that day. Yeah, it's different. It's real different. Now,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it's really different. My kids. My kids see me get
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: hot and they just they vacate the premise. Yeah, because
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: you're a temper. We are. He's having a moment right now.
