- 0:20Speaker 1: good to the other for st Please, I don't join
- 0:50Speaker 1: join me. You gotta turn hur you go. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn you got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out. Then turn the water to the water. Go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad uh huh. I show will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Well, nothing changes about that. Nothing changes
- 2:15Speaker 1: about that. Man. I was just so getting ready to
- 2:20Speaker 1: come on air this morning. I was just thinking, man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was just having a reflective moment of just how
- 2:28Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. I just it's
- 2:34Speaker 1: it's it's man. Let me just say that again, how
- 2:38Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. And here's a
- 2:42Speaker 1: cold part. In spite of myself, you understand, in spite
- 2:47Speaker 1: of all my shortcomings, in spite of all of my
- 2:51Speaker 1: flaws and and and and in spite of all of
- 2:56Speaker 1: what anybody has said about me, through His grace and
- 3:01Speaker 1: mercy just keeps me anyway. So many of us are
- 3:06Speaker 1: exceptional people, but we refuse to just go ahead and
- 3:14Speaker 1: be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary, We follow the pack,
- 3:22Speaker 1: We try to fit in. Man, oh man, oh man,
- 3:26Speaker 1: You know, I've heard my wife say this to my
- 3:28Speaker 1: children all the time. When she's scolding talking to him,
- 3:31Speaker 1: she'd be talking to him about leadership. You know, why
- 3:34Speaker 1: are you following everybody when God clearly made you to lead?
- 3:38Speaker 1: So many of us are born, and so many of
- 3:40Speaker 1: you are born to be exceptional people, but we always
- 3:45Speaker 1: trying to follow the pack. Why would you try to
- 3:49Speaker 1: fit in? Why would you try to be like everybody
- 3:54Speaker 1: else be ordinary? Why would you follow the pack? When
- 3:59Speaker 1: God is created you to be exceptional? The key word
- 4:04Speaker 1: in exceptional is accept you. Ever you ever done this?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Right here? You know, everybody did that accept me. Everybody
- 4:12Speaker 1: felt that way except me. Everybody said that except me.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Everybody won't wanted that. Accept me. Everybody went over that
- 4:24Speaker 1: except me. Everybody jumped in except me, accept me. See
- 4:32Speaker 1: why have you saying that in your life? If you
- 4:34Speaker 1: were not to be exceptional? See, you got to say
- 4:38Speaker 1: everybody accept me at one point in You're to I
- 4:41Speaker 1: don't know who ain't done it? You know, everybody wanted.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Everybody voted no except me? See it? So you're you're
- 4:49Speaker 1: not You're not created to follow the pack. You ain't
- 4:52Speaker 1: created to fit in. You ain't created to, oh, you know,
- 4:56Speaker 1: to be ordinary. You will create it to be exceptional,
- 5:00Speaker 1: as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is. You
- 5:04Speaker 1: were created to be exceptional. Why not make this the
- 5:08Speaker 1: year that you go ahead on and be exceptional? Why
- 5:13Speaker 1: won't this be the year that you decide in your mind?
- 5:16Speaker 1: But just has to be a decision that we make.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Now we're not following the pack no more. We're not
- 5:22Speaker 1: trying to fit in no more. We ain't settling for
- 5:25Speaker 1: ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: you got you got to go ahead and follow that.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You got to get on the exceptional path because that's
- 5:34Speaker 1: what you were created for. Why be ordinary? You know?
- 5:38Speaker 1: But all of this this comes to it has to
- 5:40Speaker 1: start with a thought. You got to first think something
- 5:45Speaker 1: thought to become things. A man is as he thinketh
- 5:50Speaker 1: that's all you will ever be. So what are your
- 5:53Speaker 1: thoughts today? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of fitting me in thoughts?
- 6:02Speaker 1: So why you want to be like everybody else? Why
- 6:04Speaker 1: you want to be ordinary when you could possibly be
- 6:07Speaker 1: extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change of
- 6:11Speaker 1: your venue, And you don't have to be any other
- 6:14Speaker 1: kind of way, just because my mama was this way,
- 6:17Speaker 1: my daddy was this way, This the school I went to? This?
- 6:21Speaker 1: What race I belong to? This is my sexual preference,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this is my this, this is my dadd Why? How many?
- 6:26Speaker 1: How many? How many excuses you need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 6:31Speaker 1: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:44Speaker 1: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 1: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:56Speaker 1: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 1: did that accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 1: jumped in accept me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that, accept me, And now look at it, man,
- 7:12Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 1: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said
- 7:21Speaker 1: to you that don't accept me is because couldn't it
- 7:25Speaker 1: be because you're an exceptional person, and it's time for
- 7:28Speaker 1: you to take control of that. It's time for you
- 7:31Speaker 1: to start thinking different. It's time for you to start
- 7:34Speaker 1: acting on what you think. It's time for you to
- 7:36Speaker 1: start doing something about it. It's time for you to
- 7:39Speaker 1: stop taking each and every day that God gives us
- 7:42Speaker 1: for granted and letting them go by the wayside. Like
- 7:45Speaker 1: you got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty more,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but guess what what you're wasting the ones you got
- 7:51Speaker 1: for I got you young, and you and you feel
- 7:54Speaker 1: like you're gonna live forever. Da Okay, cool, But let
- 7:58Speaker 1: me ask you something. See here here, here, here, go
- 8:00Speaker 1: to part about. Suppose you do live. See see everybody
- 8:04Speaker 1: willing about dying. But I got news for you. Suppose
- 8:06Speaker 1: you keep on living. You want to keep living in
- 8:09Speaker 1: the condition you in now. You want to keep living
- 8:11Speaker 1: with the money you got now. You want to keep
- 8:14Speaker 1: living with the relationship you got now. You want to
- 8:16Speaker 1: keep living by yourself like you are now. You want
- 8:19Speaker 1: to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man, the
- 8:22Speaker 1: the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:26Speaker 1: your life problem ain't dying. It's problem is if you
- 8:29Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living just
- 8:32Speaker 1: the way they are right now? And if you can
- 8:35Speaker 1: say I'm cool what I am, just the way I
- 8:37Speaker 1: am right now, it ain't cool. This conversation ain't for you.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know, you
- 8:42Speaker 1: wanna say, greatness ain't for everybody being exceptional, ain't for
- 8:47Speaker 1: everybody becoming extraordinary. It ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 8:52Speaker 1: ain't fun everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 8:56Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence in
- 8:58Speaker 1: your ordinary life all you want, and that's fine and dandy.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. Because some people
- 9:04Speaker 1: just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack,
- 9:08Speaker 1: follow the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But if you're not that person, if you want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional, if you
- 9:18Speaker 1: want to be if you want to dare to be
- 9:20Speaker 1: great at something, and you got to change your mind set.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You got to get with your creating, find out what
- 9:26Speaker 1: he created you fault. You gotta quit thinking of things
- 9:28Speaker 1: just in your own thought process. You know, lean not
- 9:32Speaker 1: to your own understanding. I don't know what that is,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but it's in there somewhere. Seeing Once you lean, If
- 9:38Speaker 1: you lean to your own understanding, you know what it's
- 9:40Speaker 1: gonna do. It's gonna limit you. Man, it's gonna limit you.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why not see what God got for you. I would
- 9:46Speaker 1: rather know what God got for me than to think
- 9:49Speaker 1: of all the things I could because I can't out
- 9:51Speaker 1: think him out and tried it before. All right, it's
- 9:54Speaker 1: just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening show. Let me have your undivided attention.
- 10:05Speaker 1: This is a new day. Were in a new year.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We got a new chance, This a new shot. This
- 10:13Speaker 1: is a new beginning. This is a day of affirmation.

- 10:23Speaker 1: and gentlemen, This Steve hard morning. Sure anybody playing with y'all.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Y'all need to get your mind right, man, wrap your
- 10:28Speaker 1: mind around this thing. Man, stop looking at what's wrong
- 10:31Speaker 1: and start taking some focus on what's right, because there
- 10:33Speaker 1: are some things that's right that's going on in your life.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't care how bad it appears, you better believe
- 10:39Speaker 1: there's something right going on in your life and if
- 10:41Speaker 1: you can find it in the middle of your crisis,
- 10:44Speaker 1: in the middle of your darkness, to thank him. Anyway, boy,
- 10:50Speaker 1: watch what happened to you. I'm just telling you what
- 10:52Speaker 1: I know. These ain't no guessing, I ain't throwing out
- 10:54Speaker 1: no new theories or nothing like this. I'm telling you
- 10:57Speaker 1: what I know, man, about the power of positive thinking,
- 11:01Speaker 1: the power of meditation, and the power of prayer. Ain't
- 11:06Speaker 1: nothing bigger, ain't nothing bigger. Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley

- 21:24Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the clou
- 21:31Speaker 1: to Shonda or maybe I should know. I'm sorry, Toronda,
- 21:34Speaker 1: her name is Toronto, Toronto, and Lafayette says, my husband's
- 21:37Speaker 1: sister is having problems in her marriage, so she's staying
- 21:41Speaker 1: with us. When I got home from work, she was
- 21:44Speaker 1: wearing one of my robes. I will gladly get her
- 21:48Speaker 1: some things if need be. So how do I nicely
- 21:51Speaker 1: tell her that my stuff, my stuff is off limits.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Never catch your ass in this robe again? Him? She said,
- 22:01Speaker 1: nice nicely. Second, just walk up there and just tad
- 22:06Speaker 1: awful of hay. Or if I can't wear a roll there,
- 22:10Speaker 1: nobody canna wear a roll. Take a butcher knife and
- 22:12Speaker 1: cut the cool, cut the bill, just do stuff. Here's
- 22:19Speaker 1: my question. Is she's saying anything while she's cutting a
- 22:22Speaker 1: robe off? Oh yeah, yeah, everybody cutting and cutting is
- 22:25Speaker 1: a part of it. Yeah, it goes, it goes. Yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 1: don't don't look the same on your normal all right.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Moving on to Marissa and Stockbridge, Marissa writes, I'm thirty
- 22:40Speaker 1: eight years old and my husband likes to watch porn
- 22:43Speaker 1: while we're intimate. He says, he imagines that I'm the
- 22:47Speaker 1: women in the video. This doesn't sit well with my soul.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Does this mean that he is not satisfied with my
- 22:54Speaker 1: body and normal intimacy? Well, he imagined that you the
- 22:59Speaker 1: women didn't video? What what? What? What did your text?
- 23:03Speaker 1: What did you write us? This fault he just told you.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He imagines that you are the women in the video.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So he takes his mind off you and puts it
- 23:16Speaker 1: on huh. And instead of doing you, he's doing huh.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Which partities you don't get. This don't sit right with
- 23:24Speaker 1: my soul. You ain't got to drag your soul into this.
- 23:29Speaker 1: It did take it somewhere else, didn't It does dishes.
- 23:33Speaker 1: That's the name of the day. She needs to shut
- 23:40Speaker 1: that down, all right, Frankie in Texas. As we move on,
- 23:45Speaker 1: Frankie says, my son's child that would be your grandchild.
- 23:49Speaker 1: My son's child and child's mother live with me. She
- 23:52Speaker 1: can't stay with my son because he has a new girlfriend.
- 23:56Speaker 1: But he still comes to have sex with his child's mother.
- 23:59Speaker 1: And I don't need to be hearing that, and neither
- 24:02Speaker 1: does the child. What should I do? Well, you gotta
- 24:07Speaker 1: put a stop to that in your house. Your house,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you could actually put a stop to that and just
- 24:14Speaker 1: tell him that he's being disrespectful. Very and then now
- 24:18Speaker 1: he has a new girlfriend somewhere else. Mm but his
- 24:24Speaker 1: former girlfriend and baby lived with his mama, right, and
- 24:27Speaker 1: he has his own up and the baby mama lived
- 24:32Speaker 1: with the mama too. Yeah, he has his own house that. Um,
- 24:36Speaker 1: you know he has his new girlfriend over I'm sure. Well,
- 24:39Speaker 1: see you gotta take all this to your house. Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and you're coming back over here still having relations with
- 24:45Speaker 1: her in front of me and this boy. That ain't
- 24:48Speaker 1: gonna work. Being disrespectful. You need to sit the girl
- 24:51Speaker 1: down and ask her what's wrong with her? Yeah, that's
- 24:54Speaker 1: what Frankie should do, because that's what she wants to know.
- 24:57Speaker 1: What should she do? Well, you need to have a
- 24:58Speaker 1: conversation with your son about being respectful of your house
- 25:02Speaker 1: and your rules. Secondly, you didn't need the conversation with
- 25:05Speaker 1: this girl, and just go what's wrong with you? Yeah?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Now you ain't good enough to go with him, You
- 25:14Speaker 1: ain't good enough to be with him. You got you
- 25:17Speaker 1: gotta stop being good enough to do him. You gotta
- 25:21Speaker 1: be better than that yeah good, yeah yeah, and none
- 25:25Speaker 1: like some good loving and then mama's food right after
- 25:28Speaker 1: that though, that's pretty damn good. Don't come. That's the
- 25:32Speaker 1: bright side for you. That's why you that's why you
- 25:37Speaker 1: do pranks, all right, Steve, here's the last one. This
- 25:45Speaker 1: one's novella in Culver City. Nivea says, I've been dating
- 25:49Speaker 1: a man for fourteen years and we both turned forty
- 25:53Speaker 1: in December. I was hoping for an engagement ring for Christmas,
- 25:57Speaker 1: but he said the ring is custom made and won't
- 25:59Speaker 1: be ready until Valentine's Day. If I don't get it,
- 26:03Speaker 1: then should I leave? Well, she's been they've been dating.
- 26:12Speaker 1: What what? What? What do y'all want me to say?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Say it? Just say you know, listen to me. I've
- 26:22Speaker 1: said this a hundred times on this show. Why is
- 26:26Speaker 1: it that women do not understand this fact that you
- 26:32Speaker 1: have every right to know and have a say soul
- 26:38Speaker 1: with the direction your life is going. You have a
- 26:45Speaker 1: right to know, to have a say soul and know
- 26:50Speaker 1: the direction in which your life is going. That's your
- 26:54Speaker 1: right as a human baby. Okay, stop right there. Why
- 26:59Speaker 1: don't they then? Why? Because you think that you're supposed
- 27:04Speaker 1: to sit around and wait on somebody else to make
- 27:08Speaker 1: a decision about your life when you have the power
- 27:14Speaker 1: to exact the decisions you want. Example, Okay, the reason
- 27:21Speaker 1: you keep waiting on a ring and don't get it
- 27:25Speaker 1: is because a ring is not a requirement of yours.
- 27:30Speaker 1: It is a hope of yours. And if that ain't
- 27:33Speaker 1: the hope of his, then all hope is lost. We're hope.
- 27:40Speaker 1: So why don't you make it a requirement for this
- 27:44Speaker 1: to continue? I am nola fourteen years and now it's customated,
- 27:55Speaker 1: it won't be ready to custom boy? What boy? Stop them?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Rings ain't custom made day asses in k jeweler, day
- 28:03Speaker 1: in the window or day in the window. You ain't
- 28:09Speaker 1: got enough smarts to make a damn custom ring? Are
- 28:14Speaker 1: you nuts? Let me tell you something, man, if you're
- 28:16Speaker 1: going there and pick out that diamond and that's setting
- 28:19Speaker 1: your ass can come back to mar the ring. Ready? Yeah? Okay,
- 28:25Speaker 1: one more question because we need to understand this. See,
- 28:29Speaker 1: go ahead, Well, why fourteen years? I mean, why would
- 28:32Speaker 1: you stay with someone for fourteen years without anything? A
- 28:36Speaker 1: lot of people have done it because because you keep
- 28:39Speaker 1: waiting on this thing to happen that you have not
- 28:42Speaker 1: made a requirement. Yeah, and I keep telling y'all. Listen
- 28:46Speaker 1: to me, ladies, listen. A wedding day is a woman's dream.
- 28:50Speaker 1: The wedding day is not the man's dream. All the
- 28:52Speaker 1: man dreams of is the chick of his dreams. We
- 28:55Speaker 1: don't dream of our wedding day. And if we can
- 28:57Speaker 1: get the chick without the wedding day, bam, he got
- 28:59Speaker 1: what he don't. All right, Clo, thank you. Coming up
- 29:03Speaker 1: at the top of the hour entertainment news right after
- 29:07Speaker 1: this you're listening to all right, So, Temmy, you have
- 29:14Speaker 1: some big, big news we hear, or should I say,

- 30:51Speaker 1: old days and putting in emergency call in you're gonna
- 30:56Speaker 1: break up the busy busy signal? Why by Mama on
- 30:59Speaker 1: the phone. Yes, all right. So amid the Good Morning
- 31:03Speaker 1: America scandal involving the extramarital affair of anchors TJ Holmes
- 31:07Speaker 1: and Amy Robock. TJ holmes wife Merrily Fibig, has broken
- 31:11Speaker 1: her silence and revealed that she is disappointed by TJ's
- 31:15Speaker 1: quote lack of discretion. Marily's attorney released a statement to
- 31:19Speaker 1: the Daily Mail stating that she is working with TJ's
- 31:22Speaker 1: attorney to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously, and as
- 31:27Speaker 1: amicably as possible, and Mary Lee continues to be disappointed
- 31:31Speaker 1: by TJ's lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward her
- 31:36Speaker 1: and their daughter. Last week, TJ filed for a divorce
- 31:40Speaker 1: in New York court. Both Amy and TJ claimed they
- 31:43Speaker 1: did inform their spouses that things were over b four
- 31:49Speaker 1: they started up a romantic relationship with each other. Stop laughing,
- 31:54Speaker 1: there you go, so wow, what does she still TJ? Okay, okay,
- 32:04Speaker 1: now let me ask the questions. So they're not divorced yet, No,
- 32:08Speaker 1: they're not. No, he just filed. Yeah, he listened to me.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't know him like that. You know, when things
- 32:17Speaker 1: went bad for me at the Miss Universe pageant, he
- 32:20Speaker 1: was one of the ones who was gloating and laughing
- 32:23Speaker 1: and just your boy and just drank of me. How
- 32:32Speaker 1: could you I've ever seen? Okay, well and listening, let
- 32:41Speaker 1: me give you a piece of advice. Okay, you're soon
- 32:46Speaker 1: to be ex wife is going to win everything. Oh
- 32:51Speaker 1: my god, she's a lawyer, fun attorney. Yeah yeah, this aiable,
- 32:58Speaker 1: this word amicable. They should take that out of them
- 33:01Speaker 1: all divorce friendly. Nice, don't. I don't know where that's at.
- 33:05Speaker 1: First of all, Man publicly humiliated her. She ain't ben
- 33:10Speaker 1: to go way quietly, dog, That's all I can said.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Just buckle up, hang on, hang in there. Man, You've
- 33:16Speaker 1: been to receive so many emotions and files and judiciary
- 33:21Speaker 1: complaints and partitions, and well it doesn't seem like it
- 33:26Speaker 1: matters much because he and Amy seem like they're in love.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I mean, you know, well, let me explain something to you.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Go ahead to get back to work real soon, because
- 33:33Speaker 1: that love love coast who work. Moving on to Todd
- 33:45Speaker 1: Chris Lee. Todd Chrisley is shut down claims he's gay
- 33:49Speaker 1: and that he had a passionate affair with his former
- 33:52Speaker 1: business associate Mark Braddock. Um Braddock claimed their affair, they're
- 33:57Speaker 1: alleged affair, I should say, lasted for a year and
- 34:00Speaker 1: After it ended, he and Todd continued a friendship. Todd
- 34:03Speaker 1: is due to report to a Florida prison soon to
- 34:05Speaker 1: start serving his twelve year sentence, but he felt a
- 34:08Speaker 1: need to put an end to these allegations. First appearing
- 34:11Speaker 1: on his Crisly Confessions podcast with his son Chase, Todd stated, quote,
- 34:17Speaker 1: what insulted me the most is that, out of all
- 34:20Speaker 1: these fifty four years, for me to finally be accused
- 34:23Speaker 1: of being with a man, it would be someone who
- 34:27Speaker 1: looks like Mark Braddock. Okay. Todd took aim at Braddock's appearance,
- 34:31Speaker 1: calling him a quote toad and someone that looks like
- 34:34Speaker 1: a thumb. So he's mad that the guy wasn't cute
- 34:41Speaker 1: that they accused him of being with You look at
- 34:45Speaker 1: I thought, yeah, he looks like a thumb. But anyway,
- 34:50Speaker 1: so there you have it. Todd is not gay. Oh
- 34:53Speaker 1: he's married. Yeah, absolutely, But he wanted to clear that
- 34:57Speaker 1: up because it's out there. Yeah, don't that up about
- 35:01Speaker 1: to him? Yeah? To him, it does, Yeah, right exactly, Carla. Yeah,
- 35:08Speaker 1: you pretty much got to get this statement out from
- 35:11Speaker 1: going in and you don't want to go in with
- 35:13Speaker 1: that room of swirling. Oh I don't know, man, when
- 35:17Speaker 1: you're getting that, I don't care, Todd. Yeah, this most
- 35:20Speaker 1: a lot of times that they volunteer, so yeah, it's
- 35:24Speaker 1: not a pleasant Prison is not a pleasant experience. But
- 35:28Speaker 1: he's yeah, prison, they're saying, it's yeah, damn is jail.
- 35:35Speaker 1: We'll all right, but you can't go nowhere. Moving on,
- 35:40Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Uh, Steve,
- 35:43Speaker 1: there's the cutest video trending of an eight year old
- 35:45Speaker 1: little girl that believes that you are sitting across from
- 35:49Speaker 1: her having breakfast, and it's gone viral. We'll talk about
- 35:53Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, So, Steve,
- 35:59Speaker 1: you have one of the most recognizable faces in the world.
- 36:02Speaker 1: We know that, and kids love you just as much
- 36:05Speaker 1: as adults do. But have you seen this viral video
- 36:08Speaker 1: of the cute little girl. She's at breakfast with her
- 36:10Speaker 1: older sister. She's sitting in the booth just staring, i mean,
- 36:15Speaker 1: eyes locked on this man, convinced that it is you,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. When her sister assures her that it is
- 36:22Speaker 1: not you, the little girl gets on her phone and
- 36:25Speaker 1: google's pictures of you for herself. The look on her
- 36:28Speaker 1: little face said that she didn't care what anybody said
- 36:31Speaker 1: that man across from her was Steve Harvey. She just
- 36:35Speaker 1: knew it was you, Steve. Her name is Balaya and
- 36:38Speaker 1: she's eight years old. She lives in South Carolina and
- 36:42Speaker 1: her older sister, Kate Joe Lee posted the video on Instagram.
- 36:47Speaker 1: The man that looks like you, Steve in the video
- 36:49Speaker 1: was Harold Edwards. So there you girl like Harold girl? Right?
- 36:55Speaker 1: You love a name you love? Yes, I saw a video.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I thought it was me, the cutest little girl. That
- 37:06Speaker 1: The only thing, the only way I knew it wasn't
- 37:09Speaker 1: me was I've never had My sister bought me one
- 37:14Speaker 1: of them sweaters for Christmas one year with the diamonds
- 37:18Speaker 1: on it, and it kind of bad taste in my
- 37:23Speaker 1: mouth about that pattern ever since. Other than that thought
- 37:26Speaker 1: it was me, it scull cap on, you thought it
- 37:30Speaker 1: was you? Hey, Yeah, I've been sitting at the Whapperhouse
- 37:33Speaker 1: with a skull cap on before when I was home
- 37:35Speaker 1: and I looked, trust me, I've been sitting there before.
- 37:40Speaker 1: It was funny video, man. Yeah, you know what, that's
- 37:45Speaker 1: a question, dude. Does it surprise you, Steve that so
- 37:48Speaker 1: many kids know who you are and love you so much?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Does that surprise because she was sure lesson of it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: All is because kids know me, adults know me, and grandparents. Yeah,
- 38:01Speaker 1: all generations. My base and longevity that's been in. That's
- 38:07Speaker 1: been an unplanned piece of grace from God because there's
- 38:11Speaker 1: no way I could map that out. I would have
- 38:14Speaker 1: known what to do to have that type of notoriety.
- 38:18Speaker 1: You know, it's it's a lot of pain come with fame,
- 38:20Speaker 1: but you know it is what it is. It's a
- 38:22Speaker 1: lot of benefits too. It does no benefits to fame.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Shot that baby out, Steve, give us some love, you know,
- 38:32Speaker 1: to the baby. I don't know, my girl, keep on
- 38:39Speaker 1: believing what you see because I damn show thought it
- 38:43Speaker 1: was me myself to the baby. Quay. All right, we're
- 38:59Speaker 1: moving on. Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:03Speaker 1: Roscoe's here first time for the new year. Right after this,
- 39:08Speaker 1: you're listening Morning show. Okay, So, ladies and gentlemen, for

- 39:31Speaker 1: thank you, Happy New year. Roscoe. Have you have new
- 39:35Speaker 1: Year's Eve, she say Happy New Years. It was a
- 39:42Speaker 1: little Toby. What's up? Roscoe? Man? My god, we're going
- 39:45Speaker 1: on with your We're going on havey New Year, but
- 39:48Speaker 1: we're going on with you. Well, Roscoe, I wanted to
- 39:50Speaker 1: ask you. Have you heard about this gospel song that
- 39:53Speaker 1: um Diane Warwick and Dolly Partner set to release. Um
- 39:57Speaker 1: Dian announced it earlier this week on The Tamarin Hall Show.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And the song is called It's a gospel song. Like
- 40:02Speaker 1: I said, the gospel song is called Peace Like a River.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Dolly Parton wrote it down. Warwick is eighty two, in
- 40:09Speaker 1: case you didn't know that, Dolly Parton is seventy six.
- 40:12Speaker 1: So I think that's really sweet that they're teaming up.
- 40:14Speaker 1: What do you think about like a river? Yo? Peace
- 40:19Speaker 1: like a ribble? Yes, that's the name of it. Gospel.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Who who they wrote that? Well? It says here that
- 40:26Speaker 1: Dolly Parton wrote it. What's the does? How muchself? I
- 40:33Speaker 1: got to write? Everybody won't take critics? So what do
- 40:36Speaker 1: you let me? What are you saying? Let me get
- 40:38Speaker 1: this clear? What are you saying? Roscoe? Girl? I wrote
- 40:42Speaker 1: that song? Uh, piece like a River? I wrote that
- 40:46Speaker 1: So I wrote that song years ago. They ain't no
- 40:50Speaker 1: new song. They didn't peace like a ribble. What your
- 40:54Speaker 1: name of the song is? People down at the ribble? Oh?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Oh couse, Let me ask yourself, because when the soul
- 41:03Speaker 1: that was out down by the riverside, who you think
- 41:05Speaker 1: they were talking about? They were talking about people, people,
- 41:10Speaker 1: people down by the riverside. Then she gonna get her
- 41:12Speaker 1: hands on the hole and come tell about this piece
- 41:15Speaker 1: of the river. Okay, Well do you even know? I
- 41:20Speaker 1: know Dolly, I know Dolly Mama, I know Dolly first husband.
- 41:27Speaker 1: What were their names? I know, I know Dolly, grandmama Molly.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Uh huh, some question. She the one that made the
- 41:38Speaker 1: flag that bench it ross took the credit for soling.
- 41:44Speaker 1: She needs a fact you don't know nothing about at all.
- 41:47Speaker 1: And dion wal she just jumped on it because she
- 41:50Speaker 1: saw it coming. Hello, the whole psychic thing there? What
- 41:57Speaker 1: what called what you got here? Before? I got a
- 41:59Speaker 1: couple of questions. So you wrote this song? When you
- 42:03Speaker 1: write a song, how there's another artist of a legend
- 42:07Speaker 1: like Dolly Parton get her hands on some music that
- 42:10Speaker 1: you got it from a grandmama Molly. Aren't you listening,
- 42:15Speaker 1: Carla Man? What is we on? So you wrote the
- 42:18Speaker 1: song that long ago? Is that on the radio? And
- 42:26Speaker 1: I missed all. There's so many lives trying to keep
- 42:30Speaker 1: up with people on the radio that don't listen. What
- 42:34Speaker 1: is you? What is your radio? If it ain't listening? Well,
- 42:41Speaker 1: I mean you may come. You may run into a
- 42:43Speaker 1: little trouble by the river side, down by the river.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Now that was about people. So I rewrote it people

- 48:00Speaker 1: point that I said, I'm his current wife. If he's

- 48:05Speaker 1: have been for me. It shouldn't be for her. I'm

- 48:29Speaker 1: gonna bring that car. It's it's hard. You're gonna bring
- 48:32Speaker 1: it to my house. And that's where it's gonna be
- 48:34Speaker 1: delivered to. I'm gonna fix that, you know what, ma'am.
- 48:39Speaker 1: I want to pretty much stay out of this thing.
- 48:40Speaker 1: All I want to do is deliver this thing off
- 48:42Speaker 1: timber Lake. I think I think I was created a
- 48:44Speaker 1: problem that probably wasn't even gonna be a problem. You
- 48:47Speaker 1: already up, like I just I need to know a
- 48:49Speaker 1: couple of things. Wait, when did he buy his car?
- 48:51Speaker 1: He told me? When that's what he told me when
- 48:54Speaker 1: did hebody car? This car was purchased about but right
- 48:58Speaker 1: out a month ago, but it just got delivered then
- 49:00Speaker 1: last night. Also is a special order car. Okay, okay,
- 49:04Speaker 1: well I mean five fifty. It's the biggest shuv they got, okay,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I hus okay h huh. Now wait when he came
- 49:11Speaker 1: in that you did you see him when he came
- 49:13Speaker 1: in about a car with him? Which somebody was he
- 49:14Speaker 1: with him? Ma'am? I don't. I don't work inside the
- 49:17Speaker 1: inside the dealership, man, I just drive the cars and
- 49:19Speaker 1: deliver them. Well, how much is how much is a car?
- 49:22Speaker 1: How much was a car? Uh? Look here says ninety
- 49:26Speaker 1: ninety eight right right at right at ninety nine thousand
- 49:29Speaker 1: dollars ninety eight cash because you said it was paid
- 49:32Speaker 1: in full. I don't know how have you charged, dude
- 49:35Speaker 1: or whatever, but it says paid him, but you said
- 49:38Speaker 1: it was paid in for So you mean to kill
- 49:40Speaker 1: me this fool that bought a car for his ex
- 49:44Speaker 1: wife and paid in full him's ninety thousand? How was that?
- 49:46Speaker 1: I mean, I really want you to try to explain
- 49:49Speaker 1: that to me. Is that what you're saying? Man? I mean,
- 49:51Speaker 1: you you asking me to explain some stuff that seems
- 49:53Speaker 1: like he needs to be explaining to your car. You
- 49:57Speaker 1: have to have information that I need you. I'm trying
- 50:00Speaker 1: the figure some out right here because here its home,
- 50:03Speaker 1: its own and popping up in here. Okay, uh now
- 50:08Speaker 1: what's this right here? This is a got a personalized
- 50:11Speaker 1: license plate? What what? What's you say? What's you say?
- 50:15Speaker 1: There's a personalized license plate here? I guess they'll put
- 50:17Speaker 1: those on when I get there there inside the vehicle
- 50:19Speaker 1: personalized licensease late, so you have to like special order
- 50:22Speaker 1: those right. It's got love X on here. What you say,
- 50:28Speaker 1: h l u v X so a love X or
- 50:31Speaker 1: love you know what? Cann me get myself together? This
- 50:35Speaker 1: is how people get the killed. I'm gonna get a
- 50:38Speaker 1: taste dealing with this. You know what? Bringing part of
- 50:41Speaker 1: my house, that's what you do. You bring the car
- 50:44Speaker 1: over here, you understand. Bring I'm supposed to take this

- 53:47Speaker 1: and you never know it could be yours. So write us,

- 53:54Speaker 1: it for you here. It is so strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject.
- 53:58Speaker 1: My cousin owns the car wash. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:02Speaker 1: a twenty nine year old hopeless romantic and I got
- 54:05Speaker 1: married too quickly to a man that I barely knew.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Now all of my family is in my business, and
- 54:12Speaker 1: I'm so disappointed in myself. I met a man that's
- 54:15Speaker 1: from another city, and after we dated for a few months,
- 54:19Speaker 1: he came to visit me and never left. He quickly
- 54:22Speaker 1: got a great job and he got settled in. He
- 54:25Speaker 1: has a friend in town, so he's usually hanging out
- 54:28Speaker 1: with him or he's at work. I never suspected he
- 54:32Speaker 1: was cheating on me until three days ago when I
- 54:35Speaker 1: found out that he's had sex in his car. My
- 54:39Speaker 1: cousin owns a car wash and he specializes in wheels
- 54:44Speaker 1: and detailing leather seats. My husband's escalate is his pride
- 54:48Speaker 1: and joy, so he gets it washed often. I did
- 54:52Speaker 1: not know he was going all the way across town
- 54:55Speaker 1: to get his car washed until I got a call
- 54:57Speaker 1: from my cousin's wife. She said, my husband as out
- 55:00Speaker 1: his truck to the car wash a few times and
- 55:02Speaker 1: he's always got interesting stains and pieces of weave all
- 55:07Speaker 1: over the truck. My cousin figured out that it's my
- 55:10Speaker 1: husband after he saw a business card in the truck. See,
- 55:14Speaker 1: my cousin wasn't invited to my wedding because he is
- 55:17Speaker 1: on the ghetto side of my family, so he didn't
- 55:20Speaker 1: know my husband. I just hate that. Before my cousin's
- 55:23Speaker 1: wife called me, she called my mom and told her
- 55:27Speaker 1: that my husband has been having sex in his truck
- 55:29Speaker 1: and getting it cleaned. Afterwards, I asked my husband about
- 55:33Speaker 1: the rumor, and he threatened to fight my cousin and
- 55:36Speaker 1: out him as a liar and a bad businessman. I
- 55:40Speaker 1: assured him that my cousin is not the one to
- 55:43Speaker 1: be played with like that. If my husband is not cheating,
- 55:48Speaker 1: why would he be so upset. I don't see my
- 55:50Speaker 1: cousin hating on my husband for no reason. Since my
- 55:54Speaker 1: family knows can my marriage survive this? Well, you really
- 55:59Speaker 1: don't have much of a marriage to survive anything. You know.
- 56:04Speaker 1: You guys don't even spend a lot of time together.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You said he's over at his friend's house or he's
- 56:09Speaker 1: over at work. It sounds like your man is cheating
- 56:12Speaker 1: and everyone knows it. Your family is messy, and you
- 56:15Speaker 1: are right. Your cousin's wife didn't have to blast the
- 56:18Speaker 1: business to your mom. But you said yourself that you
- 56:22Speaker 1: barely know this man. I mean you barely knew him
- 56:24Speaker 1: when you married him. He's probably doing what he normally
- 56:27Speaker 1: did when he was single in that other town, but
- 56:31Speaker 1: you didn't know him then, so you don't have anything
- 56:33Speaker 1: to compare his behavior too. And when you asked him
- 56:36Speaker 1: about it, he didn't deny it. He didn't say absolutely not, no,
- 56:40Speaker 1: he didn't blah blah blah blah blah. He didn't even
- 56:42Speaker 1: try to lie. He just didn't deny it and said
- 56:45Speaker 1: he was going to give your cousin a beat down.
- 56:47Speaker 1: It looks like your husband is cheating. Not if he's cheating,
- 56:51Speaker 1: like you wrote in a letter, Steve, that's what you
- 56:55Speaker 1: need to wrap your mind around. Your marriage is in
- 56:58Speaker 1: trouble and I don't see how are you going to
- 57:00Speaker 1: get past this one. Let's see what kind of lies
- 57:03Speaker 1: we can come up with for this one, Steve, Well,
- 57:06Speaker 1: I don't think it's really got to be no lies,
- 57:08Speaker 1: because if obviously analyze this letter properly. I mean, let's
- 57:12Speaker 1: go through this circumedy. Times has this circumstance. See what
- 57:19Speaker 1: we were dealing with circumstance. Okay, watch watch how we
- 57:24Speaker 1: do this. This woman says that I'm a twenty nine
- 57:29Speaker 1: year old hopeless romantic. I got married too quickly to
- 57:33Speaker 1: a man that I barely knew. Now I don't know
- 57:36Speaker 1: if this is the definition of a hopeless romantic. This
- 57:40Speaker 1: is not what this is. I think this is called crazy.
- 57:44Speaker 1: This may just be crazy, might not have nothing to
- 57:46Speaker 1: do with you being a hopeless romantic at all, because
- 57:49Speaker 1: you married a man you didn't hardly know what all
- 57:53Speaker 1: what they gotta do with it? And I'm so disappointed
- 57:55Speaker 1: in myself. Now, all your families in your business you say,
- 57:59Speaker 1: you say you met this man from another city y'all
- 58:02Speaker 1: dated a few months, came to visit me and never left.
- 58:07Speaker 1: That didn't sound strange. That doesn't seem strange to you.
- 58:10Speaker 1: How can a man come from another city visit you
- 58:14Speaker 1: and never go back? What? What where he worked? Where
- 58:21Speaker 1: where he lived? Where his house? What's what's this least payment?
- 58:26Speaker 1: What what's he ain't got no least no way. What
- 58:31Speaker 1: how you just go visit and then don't go back.
- 58:36Speaker 1: That's not being a hopeless romantic. Something's wrong with this.
- 58:40Speaker 1: He quickly got a great job, okay, settled in, He
- 58:47Speaker 1: got a friend in town. He usually hanging out with him,
- 58:51Speaker 1: or he's at work. Then the lady said, I never
- 58:54Speaker 1: suspected he was cheating on me into three days ago.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Now here's what this whole letter is about. My cousin
- 58:58Speaker 1: owns the car while and then I don't know why
- 59:03Speaker 1: she threw this in here. He specializes in wheels and
- 59:09Speaker 1: detail and leather seats, So I got car washed. Everybody
- 59:16Speaker 1: got a car wash, wiping seats and doing wheels. Everybody
- 59:21Speaker 1: with a car wash anyway, Um, my husband escalated is
- 59:28Speaker 1: his pride and joy, so he gets it washed often.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Here's another precarious line. I did not know where he
- 59:35Speaker 1: was going all the way across town to get his
- 59:37Speaker 1: car washed. What what what difference do that make where
- 59:44Speaker 1: he get his car washing? What? Maybe it's because it's
- 59:47Speaker 1: a great car wash. Remember, your cousin specialized as in wheels.
- 59:55Speaker 1: He went over there for a specialty. And all of
- 59:59Speaker 1: this was going good. Until you got a call from
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: your cousin's wife. When we come back, I will tell
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you what's wrong with this whole letter, all right, Steve?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: All right, hang on for part two of Steve's response,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, subject my cousin owns the car wash. We'll
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: get back into it right after this you're listening to,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the subject my cousin owns the car wash before I
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: do this letter. I've noticed a trend in Shirley and
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Eye's responses to these letters. If a man is accused
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: of cheating, if a man has circumstantial evidence about cheating,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: then my partner in crime, who we are supposed to
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: give our own opinions and separate, looks at this ninety
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: eight percent of the time, gonna ride his ass to
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: the police station, didn't lock his ass up for cheat, absolutely,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and in this letter there was no difference. But I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: have several problems with this letter, all right. So after
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: she calls herself a romantic, hopeless romantic, meets this guy
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: she barely knews, got him, leaves town, one time comes
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to visit her and never goes back. That's odd. He
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: gets a job quickly settles in. She's embarrassed by this
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: because now she met her, she'd married a man she
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: hardly knew in the family, all up in the business,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and so everything is going right, and she had no
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: suspicions of him cheating into three days ago when he
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: took his car to a car wash there specializes in
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: wheels and leather seats. Okay, we got that right. Now,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: she gets a call from her cousin's wife. Now this
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: is where the letter takes a turn. She said that
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: my husband bought his truck to the car wash a
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: few times, and he's always got interesting stains and pieces
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: of weave all over the truck. This is what your
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: cousin's wife says it you've never seen the weave in
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: the truck, and you've never seen any stains. Okay, that's
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: just a fact. So we're going based on what your
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: cousin's wife told you. Now listen to this. My cousin
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: figured out that it's my husband's after he saw a
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: business card in the truck. Now, and then here we go. See,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: my cousin wasn't invited to my wedding because he's on
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the ghetto side of my family, so he didn't know
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: my husband. This is very important information. She didn't invite
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: that side of the family because they ghetto. Okay, then
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: she says, I just hate that before my cousin's wife
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: called me, she called my mom and told her that
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: my husband has been having sex in his truck and
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: getting it cleaned afterwards. Okay, how she know that? Yeah?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I mean really that the wife ain't never seen you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: just said they get on you and invite him to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the wedding. Now I'm gonna show you something else in
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: here that gets a little crazy because they didn't come
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: from to the wedding. They didn't get listen to this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I asked my husband about the rumor, and he threatened
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to fight my cousin and out of him as a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: liar and a bad businessman, as he should. I assured
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: him that my cousin is not the one to be
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: played with like that. Now this is good information because
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you just said you didn't invite your husband to the
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: wedding because he get on cousin Huay and so now
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: this is a fair warning if you go over there
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and fight to do that on the car washing go
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: get your ass. Whoop. That's that's what this is about.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: As whoop. But now she's saying, if he didn't cheat,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: wise he's doing this. But I assured him that my
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: cousin is not the one to be played with. Why
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: how would he be so upset. I don't see my
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: husband hating. I don't see my cousin hating on my
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: husband for no reason since my family knows? Can my
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: marriage survive this? Now? I think you know that your
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: family on that side is messy. I know that. And
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: this woman has speculated that they had some stains and
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: weave in the truck that you've never seen. And now
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you ain't invite us to the wedding, so you must
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: thank you all that in the bag of chips. So
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: now let me show you that you ain't all that.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell your mama he was having sex
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: in the truck. How you know that what stains? But see,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: just because she didn't see it, does that mean that
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: it didn't happen? But so then you're gonna en your
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: marriage based on that she has what stains? Surely the
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: stains that the cousin saw in the back seat. What
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: sets Yes, she didn't specify. She didn't specified because she
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: MESSI yeah, but see hold up though, let me ask
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you something. So does the cousin's wife work at the
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: car wash? Well it sounds like she does. Yeah, so
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: if she ain't washing cars, how she knows what's seeing
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the car? No doubt if he owned the cause car wash,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: that his wife is out there washing cars. I doubt
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: that this reeks o hate for not being invited to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: the wedding. Give don't see y'all ruining your Well, look,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you married the man too soon. The man might be cheating,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: but you're gonna end it on this speculation. You should
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: have did it on something that you knew and not
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: on hearsay. And if you take if you took this
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to court, you would lose. I just want to tell
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you that because you have no evidence. You ain't seen
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: no pictures of him, you ain't went through his phone,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you ain't got no text messages. You're getting a DNA
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: report off of forensic science here for that. Ain't even
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: a forensic scientist, all right, might not be cheating at all, Sorry, Shirley,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and he might be. Sorry, Steve, leave us your comments
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: on Today's Letter on Instagram and Steve Harvey FM and
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Now. Coming
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: up next, we have an update on the status of
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Buffalo Bill's Damar Hamlin's recovery. Right after this you're listening
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: to show, all right, so, Steve, as you mentioned earlier
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: in the show, Junior is still out. He should be
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: back hopefully next week. And moving on to sports. Now,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: we've all heard that the great news about Damar Hamlin,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the Buffalo Bill's safety that collapsed on the field in
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Monday's game. There's been remarkable improvement in DeMar's condition and
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: doctors are now saying that DeMar's neurological function is intact.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: That is great news. Yesterday DeMar was interacting with family
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and loved ones through written messages, and one of his
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: first messages after he woke up and the intensive care
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: unit was to ask in writing if the Bills won
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Monday's Bills Bengals game. That was a game in which
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: he went into cardiac arrest, of course, and the doctor
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: answered him the answer is yes, DeMar, you won the
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: game of life. I love that, love it, love it. Yes. Yeah.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Doctors have also emphasized that DeMar has a ways to
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: go and he will need to start breathing on his own,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: but taking him off a ventilator will be a cautious
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: and gradual process. Doctor stated that tests are still underway
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: and to determine what caused the medical emergency, and that
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: there are no definitive answers at this time. We will
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: definitely keep praying for Damer's full recovery. Of course, after
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: that him, you're not gonna play again. I'm done with
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that football. No, we were nothing do this, no more. No.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: A matter of fact, we run it up in the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: nothing else exactly. But do you guys think that he's
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: through that the desire for him to want to play
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: for Yeast strong? But I'm working down at the Bingo
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: parlor and his go fund me went up above what
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: six seven million because I know he did start some
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: kind of charity over the Christmas break for toys, and
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: people started donating for that too. So okay, right there,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I have my own tortore, my own torch. Though you're
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: not going back out on that. I'm not playing, I'm
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: not getting back on that field. You're opening up your
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: own toy store and Steve's playing bingo. Okay, yeah, I'm
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: doing it right. Safest jobs I've ever seen before. What's
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: another one? Oh, let me see if I don't work
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: down at the bingo hall. He's twenty four. But you're
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: talking like an old man. Ain't nothing old people can
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: do with me. I'm still quick as hey. Also put
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: a band together. We're gonna do something. I'm gonna be
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: an usher at a very very small church right there.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: All right, you can see it from here. All right,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: thank you, guys. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Here's a question. Where do you hide to get away
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: from your family? Tommy, you're going first, right after this.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, guys. So, according to a new
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: one Pole survey, about half of Americans hide out when
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: they need to find peace and quiet and privacy. Where
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: did they hide out from other family members? In their household?
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: In the bathroom? In the bathrooms. But you gotta keep
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the light out though you can't turn that light on.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: You're just in the room. But you at peace. You
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: don't need to see nothing in that no way. What
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you need to see are you? Are you with your
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: phone in there? You take you got your phone in there.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: You gotta take your phone. You gotta take you something
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: to drink, A couple of snacks, you know, and if
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: you gotta. If you like a bowld ice cream, that's good.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: You might sit on right down because it's gonna go
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: straight through you anyway. It's gonna go straight through you anyway.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Just sit there. I'm not eating in the bathroom. Sorry,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: those two do what. I don't have that aunt got
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: he gotta TV in here. I ain't got there yet.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I ain't ain't made that kind of I ain't made that.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: No way get the bad room without no TV. It's
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: no way. There's no way. That's impossible. High office in
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: my bad room, phones on the wall working. I tell
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you one thing. I got one better than that. Because
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: we always have a construction at the house. I go
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: standing in the porter potty to get away from everybody.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Yeah I didn't actually went in there and just shut
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the do and just stood in there for fifteen minutes.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: So it's true then, people, you probably got a different
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: kind of porter potty on yours. Probably different. Well they
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: got to ken okay, let's hear that. Here we go,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: here we go, Come on, come on, let me head
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: because he is not the one we use at the fifty.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: It ain't that green one. It ain't that green one.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I'm telling them the different one ahead they have. They
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: have v IP porter parties that have steps on them.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You go up the steps. They got the stalls with doors,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: they have you know, washbo you know, sinks and all
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: of that. I didn't really have a greenl where you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: just standing over some mess dust the car said was
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: in in that commercial number when it turned over there
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: was like that, Oh god, you remember that. Thank you
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: more As an executive, you know, you go up the
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: steps the bathroom for both of you guys. Where your bathroom? Yeah?
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: You know, like sometimes I just drive off Steven's bathroom
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: slash office. You know sometime I just get in my
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: car just drive off. Yeah you can let you drive.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: You still drive? Okay? Do you know what you get
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: tired in here? What was you? Why? Why? Why? What
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: do you want? You need? I heard you? Look, I
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: need you to do something. I heard answer me? Answer me?
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I wait what Steve? What I was calling you? I
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: want to say I heard you? Like you answer the phone?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I called you on your phone? You have your phone
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: with you? Why you didn't answering your phone silent on
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the radio this morning. I forgot to take it off, salad.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I'll be seeing the phone right man. One time Marjorie
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: called me. She was upstairs and I was I was
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: in the backyard and motor court and she was standing
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: up in the window calling me. And I didn't know
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: she was in the window, and I had my phone
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: in my hand. And when I saw the phone, I
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: went and she saw that gesture. Yeah, So I picked
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: up the phone and I went hello in the window.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: She said, I saw you before you answered that phone.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I said, baby, it was a damn be overhill. Look
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: at the lines, how they just roll off your tongue busted, busted.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: She's like, what do you won't answer me? And answering
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: your text When I text you right, it says delivered.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: That's what we more lithium in my battery, and Tommy,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: do not take ice cream in the bathroom anymore? All right,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: coming up? It is coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: the hour more of the Deep Harvey Morning Show, right
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: after this Bluebell you're listening to show? All right, Tommy,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: you are up? What you got for us? What's that? Oh?

- 1:20:53Speaker 1: it ain't what it used to be. Can you know this?
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: How I'm talking about my body? Yeah, I don't get tired.

- 1:21:21Speaker 1: be a fully closed pastor even I'm just let you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: know what past Huh. I work out bet as a
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: pastor for a month, but it ain't gonna can't like dude,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: like every Sunday do a sermon like bowing a row
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: without custom? Ye, give me a title of your sermon,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: h like you know, trying to ease into it. You know,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: sermons like you know what the hill was, y'all thinking
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: that's the title? Uh on Sunday morning church? Okay, in
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: front of the hill? Bit okay, all title sermons. You know,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I want to get people to church. I want people
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: to come to church. Yeah, she may not be all that,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: and maybe she is. There's a little hope at the end. Yeah.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Why your sermon titles sound like strawberry? Let us that's
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: why my church gonna be full. Today's sermon Jesus on
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: the main line. I'm on line too. What's behind that dough?
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: U piko bo? That's a sermon? Yeah, my church is
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: gonna be full. Well, how you feel it's the first
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Friday of the new year, wrapping this week up? Yeah,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: you know I feel good. You know, I'm excited about
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: the prospects of the new year. I'm great for last year.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: All that happened is you know, like you know, when
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I have setbacks and stuff like that, a setback is
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: just to set up for a comeback. I've always known that,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: the fact that he allowed me to live through that
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: year and survive at all, just like everybody else that's listening,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: you live through it, and you survived at all. As
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: horrific as it may have been, you survived at all. Right,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: that's the good, the bad, the ugly, the indifferent. You
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: survived at all. That It's such a blessing man to
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: still be here and still be giving yet another year
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: another opportunity. You just gotta look at that that way, man,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I don't have any other way I can look at it.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: But you know what, Steve, you know, in spite of
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: all of that, and that's wonderful and I feel you
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: and everything. But there are people out here that are struggling.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Even though you say that you know, they're dealing with
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: depression and stuff like that. You know, what would you say?
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: What would you say to them? You know? I mean,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you know, therapy is real. Therapy is real. You have
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: to seek help but I got news for you. There's
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: no greater help than prayer. Even if you go to therapy.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: The therapists need prayer, and they work well together. I
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: like them together, and you got don't don't underestimate the
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: power of prayer. Yes, it's so important, y'all because it
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: provides you a level of hope and assurance. That's right,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that's right your life. It's based on your level of faith.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: That's what the average person. Don't try to get to
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: sometime from on board. You are where you are because
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: of what you believe. You gotta believe, yes, yes, believe yes.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: If you got your belief factor, you up your received factor.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: One more, come on, if you up your belief factor,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you up your received factor. It's a fact. It's it's
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: the law of attraction. It's everything. It's a man is
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: as he thinking. It's the law of attraction is real.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Whether you believe it or not, accept it or not.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: That's the way it works. It's the same way that
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: your TV remote works. If you point your remote at
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: your TV and you press the own button, you know
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: what why that TV comes on? Partly because you believe
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: it's gonna come home. Yeah, yeah, see this remote control
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: that you have in your hand is based on the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: belief system. It's in the very beginning. God set it
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: up that way. See God could have just created the
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: world and lit it up, but he specifically in the
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: beginning said in the beginning, he said, let there be
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: light words. Yeah, he was showing you the power of
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: your words. Were said, letting that be like, and that
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: was life. You have to manifest your life. You have
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: to project and talk about your life, and you have
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: to remove all negativity. I just was texting somebody early
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: this morning about that who was going through something set.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I'm so tired all the time. This is hard. Okay,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: it's hard than you're tired. But if you're gonna make
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: that the forefront of it, it's gonna forever be hard.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: It's tired, that's right. Why don't you speak about the results?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: You won't. That's what I gotta say. That's my closes
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: room marks that they hope you enjoy it. Y'all, stay
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: in faith. Gonna be a great year this year if
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: you expect it to be. Thank you very much, see
