  Verse 6, Jeremiah 52, the siege is on against

  Jerusalem and things are very bad. So the city

  was under siege until the 11th year of King Zedekiah.

  And then in verse 6, on the ninth day of the

  fourth month, the famine was so severe in the

  city that there was no food for the people of

  the land. This is a horrible situation. And we

  can get into why God allowed it, why God did

  it, why God did what he did, why the things were
• 0:25
  happening, etc. But there's one thing I really

  wanted you to see here, and that is that if God's

  people are engaged in prolonged warfare against
• 0:33
  those whom God has allowed to have a certain
• 0:36
  amount of victory over them, then they will wind
• 0:38
  up beat up and tired and people will go without.

  It is not your job to fight demons and evil spirits
• 0:44
  in your own life. to fight your desires, to fight
• 0:47
  your temptations, to fight yourself, to fight
• 0:50
  the world system. Now, we are not to be conformed,

  and to be conformed could include spending our
• 0:55
  time fighting back. If the world can get you
• 0:58
  fighting back, then you're spending yourself

  that way. But rather, we are to be transformed

  by the renewing of our mind. We overcome evil

  not with evil, or with aggression, or with vicious...

  fighting or infighting rather we overcome evil

  with good so let us be found doing good you can
• 1:15
  do good you can be good you can make a difference

  in the world you can end suffering wherever you
• 1:21
  find it to the best of your ability you can love

  people even when they don't deserve it and deliver

  grace do so with a little salt that is to say
• 1:28
  that we still got to say what's right even when
• 1:30
  it's difficult overcome evil with good today

  and don't put yourself in a war of attrition

  with an enemy that might just outlast you on

  this earth
