- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: 84 degrees, bro, after like five days of 50 degree weather, it's actually quite interesting.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it dawned on me with single the mile, like I knew that it wasn't like a real holiday of that make sense, like it's not celebrated anywhere except for the US for real.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: But like it then dawned on me just how seriously
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: literally until this year.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I never paid on my.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and if I got to work, I eat like work work or do something like I'm not, I don't care about no tacos.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: Marvel readers.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: Now, granted, uh, there is a spot.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: That serves incredible.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Maverita is down his treat for me that I'm sure it's stupid pack right now.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Just like a me goes and Laurel.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you out in Laurel right now, um, yeah, if you're listening to this, I'm sure you're, you're probably a test that a me goes is crazy.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: I already had one of my friends.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: She told me she would do a me go.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: You got paid $10 just to sit in the parking lot.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Brian fans and dollars sitting no parking lot.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: And my spot down the street lot's old techer.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: I just know the day pack, bro.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: I know the day pack.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't part.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to get a Margarita to go and a stop serving that two years ago.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: I can't even get a Margarita to go.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, anyway, say a beautiful day outside, bro.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of outside, you know what, I'm gonna say to that conversation for when we get everybody back on the show.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: Because we haven't experienced on Sunday, congratulations to AJ.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna share his business if he'll want me to share it.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know the details behind, like how he does his professional job.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: So we had a, a, a, a, a, a, a a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's earned the day of celebration.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, he's a good guy.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: No matter how much people want to hate watching, we're eating more life because of his gangstakes.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Um, had a big deal or a big thing that happened to him this weekend.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to him.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so let's kind of work backwards, right?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: So like rookie many cancers this week on Friday.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm interested in talking about what's still missing for the commanders.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be a two-partner, right?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: I want to know about the offensive side and the defensive side, but we don't need to do both in one at setting.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I want to talk about offensively.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: And this is where Samurai comes in.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because we're talking about the offense today.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so let's go ahead and get Drey and here.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: He just popped up.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on with you player?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: Are you feeling better?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: You muted too, by the way.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe like a okay, so you weren't muted.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: Going on mute.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe check your audio settings.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: See if anything here.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Do your thing.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so Ben's nobody me goes.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, bro.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and now you good now.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and Ben's Friday.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: They say Friday be it be a dangerous practice.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's like lambers.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be talking about lambers all the time on here.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Friday's amigos be packed and then you already know today.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm other.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Matter of fact, Ben's check the timeline.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on the retweet something so you can see.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: So you can see what I was, what I saw with Amigos.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't just get it reached, you gotta be at the top.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, I'm gonna dream up bad.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm good, man.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: I told you I'm better than I was yesterday, that's for sure.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was a zombie old day yesterday.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: So you alive now.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I feel like it now.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: I said I was going to try and wait too till the whole game got back bread, but.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: A man, something is hard to.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: I already said shout out to Azir, congratulations to him.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't tellin', I ain't tellin' it's business, but.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Man, look, if that's what Azir do when he celebrates bread, like three, three bottles, yeah.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: And on a Sunday night, bro.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: And, and Drake, you ain't even broke.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when I tell you 12 stories was lit, it was lit.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: But Brad, that wasn't even, that wasn't even fight.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: Two weeks ago, all my goodness, Brad.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: It was, it was chilling there.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: But that last time, I don't even know what we were, Brad, that shit was pumping out.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: It would have been 10, it's 10 times better than the spot we were going to go grab dinner like I was cool and I was cool with settling down for the night.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was perfectly fine with grabbing some dinner bruh and then when I said I heard about Ross, I said how do I grab?
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what they see because I heard food.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, all right, so this must be a spot where like, because that was new to me, but this must be a spot where like people like, it's music going, but it's like more of a dinner thing.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, O'Neill, we can make a party with a bunch of more bottles, I'm like yo, I'm just not going to stop burn, you call it out at you call it out at your stories, so like it was it was over like I was like, man, I'm just I don't even know about what to make at home, yeah, yeah, I mean, I barely made a home, but I did, but that shit was crazy.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: It was crazy Brad.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: It was it was so late.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I had a great time, but they too.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: I hate the fact that two of the stories Brad.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: They do these functions on some days They do have functions on Fridays and Saturdays, but like the big party is on Sunday And that's how I like man good lord right now working that next day
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: The people that go out on Sunday night, bro, they ain't, they either, they either work in work and night life, they they probably do work from home.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: I should know it's work from home.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Something, bro, because hell, no.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and Ben's she those, I don't, I've never been to she those, bro, but yeah, like, I, that's the part that I used to cross across all the time and just never paid no money.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the one by the hooters and, um, and the BJs and
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: I forgot the, the Jamaican spot.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: What area to go with?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Make out, not a laurel.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel, laurel.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so what worry about the rest of the conversation because we definitely don't want to recap on the show.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: But what worry about that went when we get the whole game.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of shit happened a lot and the video, the video that he sent this this is it?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: The video that he sent this had both the the shorty that was blown up that was blown up the spot.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, right girl, the weasel, the weasel, the weasel, oh my goodness,
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and cause who was part of the video that he said this week.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're shorty shorty with viral where she bust her ass Oh, yeah, oh girl.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: I happen will be with it That must happen before we got there even before we got there or like it was a crowd because it was a crowd over there When we got there, but I didn't see it.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see a damn thing, but right I she going to have to take a couple years off night life She can't she can't part by god.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so She probably don't even remember that shit happen.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: She was live
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: We're going, she's going to remember.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you go by and we're like, that, yeah, yeah, there.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're going, that's you for gear.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's go reverse.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to start with what's still missing.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Samurai mentioned, signed step on.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then we're starting an offensive side, Jerry.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: I want to split this conversation up in a couple episodes.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Offensively, we still are in a situation with there's some questions.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: that area of the team, let's start with Stefan Dix and then let's work our way into the actual roster, right?
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know just how serious people are with like that conversation and honestly, I don't put too much stock in it myself, like Stefan in particular, but I do think
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: A year ago, um, I don't remember if you were on the train, I know me and AJ was on the stuff on the day strange, but I don't know.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: So it was two of us on the train last year before he even signed with the Patriots.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: And, and I think what why people are comfortable with him now is like, I guess they saw how productive a 31 year old or 32 year old receiver can be, if he's actually like,
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, right, he's still productive, he's still highly competitive and I think even with one of the biggest distractions.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: next to Taylor Swift in terms of relationships and spouses, like he wasn't an issue during the regular season.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: All his drama came off the field, and even still going forward, we're talking about a person who was just, as a couple of hours ago, found not guilty on his legal issues, right?
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Side note, I don't know if he'd been far too long, but shorty embarrassed to shit out of herself, trying to take this to jail.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: I bet checking it out, but she was, hey, that dance though?
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was a little sexy.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: I ain't going to laugh.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: She was sexy, but she crazed you shit, bro.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I have no idea.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm actually, like, I don't do the group thing with Twitter, but if there's one thing I agree with, I have no idea how old she is.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: She, I can't tell how old she is.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell she, like, late 30s, early 40s, late 40s.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I had her meal 30 years ago.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: I already like 28 though.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she is.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: See people in 30.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Man, people's feeling like that ain't that ain't confirmed.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, that's why I'm like, I have no idea, but, um, that's hilarious.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: She got, she got cook.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: She deserved to get cook.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't know what their plan was.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: And that's neither here there.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's found not guilty.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I think to myself, Jay, um,
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is another opportunity for Washington to seriously entertain and step on a dex.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I think for me, you know how I feel about the boys and I, you, and San Francisco, I'm obviously the boys and San Francisco, and I, but like, I'm not waiting to,
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: August of September to see what San Francisco was going to do.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not interested in that.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also not interested in banking on a person who ain't played in and about to be two years.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like he hasn't seen the field in two years.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: He could be training all he want to, but he ain't seen the field in two years.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I have no idea where his mental is, where his mental is it.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's been confirmed through, I wish I could credit the person.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: But it's been confirmed.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was Horsh Mesaida, is that what you think about it?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was an actual reporter.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: I actually, as much as I appreciate his insight, I've come to learn that.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: T.J. Horsh Mesaida probably does have a close relationship with Brandon and I, but the way he talks on his show, seems like he ain't talking to him in a while.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: So like he's, I can't really take him too seriously.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's just given his opinion on somebody that he knows.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a reporter that I can't think of the name right now, who just acknowledged essentially that very, like nobody has been able to get in contact with IU.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: So if nobody can get in contact with IU in any front how can Washington even gauge the temperature on a person like that?
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: If they ain't even talking to him, nobody's talking to him.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was league executives like nobody can get in contact with the guy.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying it's truly, it's 100% a negative, but if people are on, if people need to know where your head is at and you are not giving them that access, like even at the bare minimum, I'm not here, I'm not here for that.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where I look at stuff I digs and where things line up.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: This is a person who is, again, super passionate.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: He is productive.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you look at his last two seasons prior to the ACL injury in Houston.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I think if you did want to add to your receiving core, your receiving group, there is a 1a and a 1b
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: Staying you right in the face with Terry and Stefan Diggs, knowing that that Terry is probably going to be your go to guy with Stefan being that supplemental piece.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I think for Washington, like, first of.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: fans thinking that he's a trouble guy like that's I don't even like if you look like where has he been a problem in the last two or three years like I haven't seen that crawls issues on the field I've seen him getting issues with his court with their quarterbacks but that's just a competitive emotional player but like it hasn't disrupted the team hasn't disrupted team success so I think Washington is staring at a great opportunity
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: But I also think like for me, I would, I would rather if there was either or option take digs over either San Francisco guy and, and, um, what's his name, born?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not born.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Joanne and Joanne and Brandon and I you.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and last year when I was against the move, it was two reasons why I was against the move.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: One of them was he was just coming off injury if I'm not mistaken when he came from the Texas before he went over to the Patriots.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: So it was a little worried about him at his age because he was crossing that wrong side of 30.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Mind you, we've been having that conversation all off season about Terry McLean.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, in this big deal at 30, you know, I'm like, all right, you got Terry.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: And plus you, you was just coming off the conference championship game sort of vibes were really good at that time.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: And, too, my second reason with Stefan Day has kind of been against the was kind of the court of that issue.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I was just worried about that ruin in the vibe or the momentum of the season.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: But a little did I know the vibe or momentum of the season was already ruin and Stefan Day has had nothing to do with that.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: So fast forward a year later.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine with it now, I think it will be, I mean, because you still need help with the receiver despite.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the question is, do you, how do you view the office in general?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: I understand you still need to help at receiver, but I also don't think that this is an office that's gonna go out there.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: you know, scare us as only scoring like 10 or 15 points.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I think you still have a pretty damn good office as long as Jaden Deng's is leading it, but I do think someone like even, you know, we're talking about step 5 digs and even going to the IU.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, I think anything that those guys can give you at this level will be a bonus to this office.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll be perfectly fine with adding the step 5 digs.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: granted because we're for longer desperate right now as far as the season just had not necessarily desperate at what you need to add to the office I just um because I do think you still have something on office even outside of jay the dangles but I just think that coming off the season that you had you kind of aren't in a position to you know I guess to use the term beggars to choose or beggars can't be choosers but you want to add anything you think that can
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: because you did the most important thing as far as addressing a defense.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: But what you don't want is Jaden Daniels feeling like he has to go out every possession and he has to score every possession.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's the pressure you don't want on your quarterback.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: And we had that pressure last year because even two years ago we had that pressure.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: The defense hasn't been good the last two years.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: So you were scared on offense and that makes you play, you know, certain kind of ways.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: year one, Jayden plays like his hair's on fire, but it was a good thing.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Year two, it kind of leads to Jayden going too much and he's going out there and getting injured.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that you did enough on defense.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, you know, as far as I'm not going to go out on a limb and say we're going to be a top 10 defense or we're going to be right this in defense.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: But you have to be at least somewhere in mid or in a pack and I think if you have a mid or a pack defense, the office is going to, you know, fill less pressure to go out there and say, hey, if I don't score right here, it's going to get out of hand.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that was the biggest issue.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm all for adding a step on digs, but I'm not with you more when I think, I mean, I understand the reports, man.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: If he's there,
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if it's somehow you can still get him and add him here, I add him because I do think the risk is low, you know, it's I mean, there will be high, but the risk would be low because I don't think you're going to you're not going to sign them to a high money deal and you're not going to, I think he's going to be on a short leash.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: You won't get it together.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you, if we see anything strange, we can release you quickly.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: But you shouldn't rely on how you best the thing.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think you're relying on how you with, you know, I think, like I said, with a Jaden and I think the running back room is got better.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think the tight-air room with a Chicago Concule has the potential to be better than it was the couple of years ago.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think as a stance right now, the why I receive a room, what you have, now it's not a great why I receive a room is not going to probably write top 15 or anything, but I think it's better than what you've had the last couple of years like with an Antonio waves if you can come in and kind of be an impact player at the slap position from day one.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're adding to that.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, digs, are you any of those guys?
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think what they were bringing that they can bring it at the level we've known in the brain, it'll be an added bonus and a much need to
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, you kind of actually trickle into the, the, the, what's missing part.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you answered, you feel like the running back room is good.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Um, obviously we know about the quarterback room.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: You, you, you feel like the tight end room has potential, but you didn't, you wasn't declarative.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: and your opinion that you, not I'm just saying like I feel like you still think that it's a to be determined, but you lean that this is a stronger room than the previous couple years.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Am I wrong?
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I think because
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: We still got John Bakes.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: We know what his role is.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's a block and tight in.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's one of the better ones out there in the league.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, the last couple of years.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think the last couple of years with a earths, you were solid, but nothing scary.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, you know, Erx was he was still, you know, a guy that can go out there and find a zone sitting his own.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: He can catch the ball and he's going to probably fall right there where he catches the ball.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas with a Chego Qualku, I think you've up the playmaking ability at the Titan position.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what's behind them, we're still, that's where I'm a little iffy yet.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, based, like I said, we know as a role, but then you talk about a Vincent, I don't know if Vincent is ever going to be a high level or even a great contributing Titan at this level.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: We just haven't seen that yet to say that.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: So outside of Cheg,
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: If he gets injured or something, you're back to, this is one of the worst tight-air rooms in the league.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: But if she can stay healthy and if she can bring that potential that we saw from the Tennessee, I think your playmaking has elevated heavily at the tight-air position, and I think you're better than you have been in the last couple of years.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think the only non-question mark
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: the quarterbacks, but, um, we talk about skill position playing, right?
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going to know, no, no, no, no, no.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: What's still missing for the commanders offense, like generally out of the whole units, every the entire unit.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I think for Washington, the one without the question mark is quarterback, um, when we talk about offensive line unit, I think there are
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: in one question mark that still exists, two major holes in left guard and center, and in a question mark at right tackle with Josh Connolly.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not super.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: The last thing that I put out speaking of film sessions, I don't know how this is part of the administrative items.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: And Tonya Williams film session is out right now.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know why I didn't like check that out if you want to get to know the Clemson web receiver.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: But the last thing I did with Josh Connelly was actually gave him credit.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: But it was also like a, you got a lot of work to do, type of credit.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: But like he just wins and it's gonna look, it looks ugly like that first, that work he sees and he had a lot of ugly wins, but also showing like the potential like that sailing in and why he hasn't reached the sailing yet, but he showed the flashes of like, I can get there if I get my technique on a point.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: So like I consider him a question mark,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, a home run head or somebody who's earned the starting spot for it like the next 10 plus years, like he hasn't solidified himself in that fashion, um, but you look at center.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'm so glad that they got their work from Michigan State, um, Michigan State.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think what's important to note about that you don't always need to have you don't always find your starting like the third or second round when it comes to interior offensive linemen you can find them in the matter rounds.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the biggest deal is knowing when you look at a center position they got a gritty.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's somebody who hasn't really been exposed to that position for full season.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: This is that, and at least in Washington, right?
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is that opportunity that he's about to give.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: But it's also a byproduct of Washington moving on from a guy, Tyler Baddays, and also not landing the guy that day was going after him for agency.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: So what's convenient is getting the guy who filled in for Tyler Baddays when he was hurt.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's elegant, vignants, but also in the sense of they feel comfortable, but things are different when you get a full 17 games, versus like a spot duty spot.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a spot duty start.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not too short about the interior offensive line yet with the left garden and center position.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm interested in seeing how that's gonna work out, right?
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: But that part you gotta pass that up.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Receiver, we talked about it.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would help if you if you land a number two and get another veteran in there that can really like have a back and raise the floor of that room.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I think when you look at this office knowing that the strongest position and like the guarantee like this is working knowing that it's the quarterback position.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I feel like it's hard to sit here and say that it can't be or won't be successful, right?
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe that's like all that will matter, but do you, and you kind of alluded to this in here, and you're responsible like, but maybe it doesn't matter, but do you want?
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: to just sit back in and relax in and let Jayden carry the show.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like, sure you, you, you, you, you can't, you clearly do, but the onus does it have to be on him every single week.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's kind of a bigger conversation if you think about it, especially with the way the, the offense is looking right now.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: I do think the tight end room with Chig, it, it, it brings like a vertical exposiveness.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and that should be taken into account.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't have that many people who can really get you down.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Feel.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but yeah, I think those are, those are something where it's like jade in getting more toys is never a bad thing, but you also have to be able to play things a little bit smarter.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where like the office of coordinators, uh,
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: and brains come in.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, bro, like, I'm kind of like, we still have missing pieces.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: And is everything meant to be perfect?
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: No, can you ever get anything done all in one all season?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, when we get to the defense, I think we'll have a easier conversation about what's still missing and I think they did a really good job of choring that side up.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: offensively still think they're behind the able.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: But just again, the conversation about how much does that floor raise with Jayden Daniels, that's something where it's like, it's hard to, it's hard to say, you know, this ain't going to work when you have a Jayden and you're in your back for you.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but this is also, I think.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is where Adam Peters and Dan Quinn's decision to go with a David Blau over a Cliff King's Berry has to work if you think that the vision was, we wanna create an office where Jade is not being Superman where he's not going too much now.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: If we're to kind of believe some of the people that's
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: I guess assuming or some of the people that we've heard is close to their organization, they said he kind of wants to run one of those Ben Johnson type of offices.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: Now Ben Johnson, if we're to believe that the Ben Johnson offices that we know at least from Detroit, Chicago doesn't require the quarterback to be Superman.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I understand you had, you know, some weapons up in Detroit, you had Janice Williams, the incredible running backs at my Rossing Brown, that is Chicago, Caleb also has help as well, but none of the quarterbacks have been super mad for either one of those teams.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, those teams kind of rely on, you know,
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: kind of a great running game and kind of getting the quarterback in the space is what it could be successful.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: And if you think the Jayden is one of the top quarterbacks in the lead, which he showed two years ago, then he should be able to dissect and pick a part and you know, kind of put this offense and or at least play in this offense and be with the other two quarterbacks we've seen and those Ben Johnson quarterback coach's offices do.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I was, that that's going to be an interesting thing to me.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: The C if David Blow is everything they're kind of envisioned it because that's going to be a big task.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's going to be a no excuses task as well because this year three and this is, you know, if this doesn't work, coaches out the door.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, where we have big expectations for year one is not even the time to have a learning curve on a job like they have to be ready to go.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: They have to be ready to go right now.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: If we're they believe the data blouse coming in with this specific type of office, they got to kind of hit the ground running and it can't be all jaded and being Superman now again.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: Art of running back is going to be better.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think right now Bill should be probably number one or at least he should be kind of in line for that number one spot, but it's probably going to be a running back by committees like a deal, but can Bill take that leap and if he gets more carries, are you going to see something different from him, you know, maybe they're going to go jade and under center a lot more, but you're going to have a lot more play action, maybe that makes jade and a lot more dangerous in this office, maybe it gets you looking for
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: so many different places.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: And then again, you bring into the Antonio Williams into the photo.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a slot that can kind of went quickly, kind of move those chains pretty off.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have an offense that can move pretty much down the field a lot.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: So again, I want to add more help.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to have more help.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: Step on Dave sounds pretty damn good right now.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, I know, you know, I, you because that big question mark, but if you could bring him in and if you can give you anything after what he gave you in 2023 that asked at the office, I mean, maybe there's somebody that gets cut on June 1 or something that you could bring it to the food that can help this office, but either way, like this office as a stance right now may not be a
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: 30 point per game offense.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that may be way too ambitious, but I also don't think they're going to be an anemic office that we're like, man, we hope they can help this defense.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think that this office can be pretty damn good.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, as it stands right now, but it can't, it can always be that.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, Jaden Dan use career record by points aloud.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is kind of like a defensive
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: Commanders are 12 of no when when they allow 24 points or fewer and then they are 2 and 10 when they allow 24 points or more.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_00]: It is a cop correlation to the defense, but also think it tells I don't think it's like a direct like one to one.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: Last year.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: Several three announced.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think they were probably like bottom half.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a double check right now, but I think they were bottom half and they leave on third down compared to when they was 2024 they were one of the the better teams if not first and NFL and third down and third down.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they were, so they were 21st last year and third down percentage, um, sales top 10 and fourth down.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of the nature of that cliff King's burry thing, but third down they were six in the NFL, 2024, first, and and fourth down percentage, um, that points a loud also is an indication of like how, how long
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: points allowed is an umbrella for several things because it doesn't tell you how long your offense is on the field.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: How many three announced do you get on?
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: Are you keeping a defense fresh?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: How long are your drives?
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Are you able to flip the field position?
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you don't score it, can you move the ball at 20 30 yards?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: Can you get out of your own weight?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: Can you get out of your own territory?
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Those are elements that we how many turn over do you have in
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, we're a turnovers.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: Um, do you allow touchdowns on the turnovers?
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and I'm not sitting here, spit ball and just for the sake of like defending the defense.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually bringing a point home in that I think the offense is in a situation for for Washington where like, if you can, again, help jade and out.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: there may be no need for him to think superhero.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: And part of the problem is actually what makes him special.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, people don't understand.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: It may not matter how many weapons you give, J.D.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: He has that hero mentality, like he always feels like he has to do more and put things on his shoulders.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: So like there is no guarantee that Washington can bring in all the tattin in the world and he's still not going to be jadin.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like and play the jadin way that we've come to know over the last two seasons.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and that's not a negative.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying sometimes he's still going to pass up that 7-yard hitch for 7-yard hitch.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's 7-yard curl rope that's that can get you probably like 15.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_00]: If that means he can scramble for 5 and get the first down on 35.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: And you like why don't he'll then need throw the ball?
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I think it's important to take those things into consideration when you look at those stats.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm, I, I think that defensive conversation, I can't wait to get into it.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, like they done a great job, I just think it's important that we understand like the different elements of this offense and what's missing, um, that offensive line is going to be huge.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: But that question has to be answered ASAP and I hope that they, they, they've done enough because if they haven't,
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's where the real issue would begin.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I have faith in a couple positions.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: I need to see something from Nick out of gritty.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: Um, whoever's going to be your left guard.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: That, that position battle, Chris Paul and Coleman and Excataroo.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: you got to figure that out.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: Jay Tissin and Chad mentioned that got the Grady playing in college as center and that's his most comfortable spot.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if he said that, congratulations, but college was a long time ago.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where I was like, you're exposure matters, especially when you play or projected to play a lot more snaps at a position where you was primarily guard and Washington, right?
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: So not to be dismissive,
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: it's is different in Washington.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: So like you're going to be expecting to play 17 games.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's that center that they got from Michigan State ends up upsetting them.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we'll see.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: But I think if at the very least, if you if you aren't able to truly count on your skill positions, just yet, if I truly count on somebody that that can really take over at the very least, they had to have gotten that offensive line right and then everything else can follow suit.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's I guess that's that's that's kind of where I'm at and my last thing on this is I mean I'm with you in the office of life But I do think there's a good thing that you had the competition there, but for me that one last thing kind of the person we don't talk about I guess because we've always expect him to just do his thing, but
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: Terry has to be Terry this year.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like I mean, I understand the injuries where we're a big deal for him last year now all to this season.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: But we need Terry to come back and be Terry and maybe even better than the Terry that we've known.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean Terry, you know, he got his contract and everything in mind you.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's an incentive based contract.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like a lot of a lot of those numbers he needs to hit salary wise.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it do certain things catches.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: touchdowns and everything.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be a great time for Terry to have maybe the best season of his career.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I think if you get the best version of Terry this year, that's kind of something that we're not talking about.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think when we talk about Terry, we just get steady ready when we talk about Terry.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: But if you get the best version of Terry this year, that make that elevates the office as so many ways.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because now you can get some of those other things kind of
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm expecting big things from Terry and Clark this year.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: Um, absolutely.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: Why hope so, and and I actually, I'll, I'll, I really do hope so.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: Um, Bip.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Big Memphis did.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: Don't let AJB write about Terry.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's all, that's all in facts, but you should, I think you're telling Terry that.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: Jerry, Tony didn't know there's a guy named Ada out here who is praying to be right about his opinion of you.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see the, did you see the armies of vlogged a little Los Angeles vlog they had we haven't know why she said the shit.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I know he had just been breath.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not only posting that job where people who's geeked to watch that, I ain't paying on my own.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: I saw the clips.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: I saw like clips of it.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the, I mean, you know, Terry and it was out there.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: I guess the most interesting thing for me was just deami and general light.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: He had a funny doing.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of like, if you look at his interactions with Jayden and Terry, like they kind of make him the butt of their jokes and I didn't realize he had that kind of dynamic with them.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: You might want to just watch it just for that is just for the entertainment value, at least I mean you ain't going to get into football last too much I mean good point bring it to Diami though like that could have that really could have been like a big missing element Yeah, and I don't think he's I don't think he's like a position Of I don't think he's like a depth chart guy like I think he's like if David Bowie smart They're going to use the army as like that
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, utility piece like we're going to bring him out to run three routes.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like you only got three.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: He got over.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: Run that over.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: Run that post run that go.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like post over go don't run shit else.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a dig.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: So let's do four routes beyond me.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's all you got for me.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: Running them for and figure out figure out if you can win at the cash point.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: rookie mini camps.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I think, I'm not going to like over hype rookie mini camp.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think honestly, even when I was there, like I remember to do, who was to do, who was the, uh, papali, the, the Eagles do, who was, um, that Mr. Invincible or, or, and visit, what was the name of that movie that they made after to do, Mr.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: Relevant?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's you that's you see the last person picked it up.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was a dude.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, the name of it.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't let's see Now because this about the pan.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't I?
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: You say you do me all the way off for the delf for your e-goose Movie jatiles just said rape a pop and vegetable.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, rape a pile Invincible is the name of the movie
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: I was at Ricky MiniCams when his son tried out for Washington.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I interviewed his son, but I was saying, I was bringing him up to the point of like, even when I was there, like, there's so many people who will, they'll just grab a whole bunch of guys and with their undrafted signings in there five, six draft picks and just mix them up.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: And just enough so they can have some practices there.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I say that to say none of this shit is a big deal.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: That would probably do and no disrespect to him whatsoever.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: I promise to God what I'm about to say is just facts like there was nothing.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: about him after that.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like his interview went, went viral, back then.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: That was nothing about him after that.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was a story because of who his father was.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: But like anything that comes out of this, like it will be some stories.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think the more important thing is figuring out the actual talent from the draft picks, like what do you see in your first looks.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I wonder, like what,
- 42:14[SPEAKER_00]: We'll probably be the bigger story lines coming out.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: And if I had to guess,
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously he's going to stand for the first two sunny sunny thousand Antonio Williams.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: But but I think sunny stars is going to be a person where they want to see how quickly he actually moves when like plays are happening in real time.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like how how is this place be compared to his
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: stats and numbers and things like that.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's going to be important because if your place me doesn't match what you was putting up at the combat, you know, that's where like the point of talk goes.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: And if it does, and if it exceeds, and he's playing super fast, and it shows like that second level like a eraser, then I think the momentum only goes forward in the positive way from here on out.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's, for me, when it comes to Ricky, many camps, it's kind of hard for me.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just fun to see the guys at least wearing the uniforms for the first time.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't really start to take much from any of the new guys or anybody and so they start kind of practicing with each other amongst the vets and everything.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because Sunny Stiles might go out there, you might look like everything, but then you're going to remember, he's playing against many camp dudes and tri-out dudes.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm driving the free ages, you know, people you've seen in college already, you know?
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to take too much away from that, but I will say one person I may actually be looking forward to is that new rookie kicker they sat, because I do think it's going to be important if this dude can show like I'm making it right.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, because that's going to be this going to be like the first real kicker competition if he's showing something pretty early on at least that we've seen a Washington for a while and we've been asking for that for a while and for what we know of this guy Drew steam is his name from Iowa.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: And if he can kind of show the he got some macro receipt of go home with that leg then we may have something brewing so I do hope to hear some positive things from him and the rookie midi camp like I want to hear Man, this guy went 9 for 9 or 11 for 11 and he kept the 60 something out of like I would love to hear that rookie midi camp because I'm like I just do is trend it in the right direction.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: Plus we know when it comes to kickers confidence is everything.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: So this dude can kind of generate some confidence and rookie mini camp that can carry over to, you know, OTAs and, you know, preseason of what not to that kicker competition.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm rooting for Drew Stevens.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, man, yeah, he just want to, you know, I got to see the guys in there, uniforms and maybe here cool story or something like, what was the story last year?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Taylor's brother Gabe Taylor, he was in mini camp rookie invite, but I guess he's very lucky.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: I know they know.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and like Sean is a little bit closer to home, but now you talk about a person and get another shot nowhere else in the league.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he does have a career playing playing in the UFL right now, but to the point like add a big story in and we're getting many camp poof.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that was a big last year like we was a you know fans of course He was the underdog story like you were rooting for a gate tell I don't know who's gonna be kind of that underdog Marlin.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know What's new name By Marley by Marley's uh, nephew.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: We're showing.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's a Marlin.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Nico Marley.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and he made it a preseason
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: And he actually did, he did, he did, I didn't pre-season, but you just knew like once them, once them double teams and those, those combo blocks got to the second.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, my, I will say though, every year in, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: these rookie mini camps.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: There is usually one name that, you know, the reporters, they're like, hey, we've seen this guy, he stood.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, and I'm talking about the undrafted free agent.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: He'll, they'll say some of my, oh, man, you need to watch off for this guy.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes that guy usually makes the team.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll look out and see which one of these undrafted free agents they have, because it's a couple of them.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen fans already kind of, you know, written for, especially the Chris Hill and Jungecat that played with Jayden at LSU.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see if one of these names stand out and that's somebody that we're going to be watching when it comes to training camp.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, people like to get on, get on those, those uncovered gems pretty early.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess we'll see.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think the bigger news will be to that point is like following how they do here versus how they do and mandatory many camp.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then obviously training camp down the line.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: But the kick was a good pool.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: So like I think if anything,
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Shout-out to Washington for taking that spot seriously this time around can't go wrong with it.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, how are they played that in training camp and even preseason will be a pretty interesting.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: We close out here with T. T. T. T. T. T. It's an interesting judge of free agents with Chris Hills and Jewish Stevens.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: uh... elite spinster safety uh... dt defense attack will and bob that can't be six in the yeah where's he coming from is that the friends to uh... no he played at a guy right here he played s mu less you that's me ok down
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he, uh, he bought a brand and we didn't age when he came in.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's that transfer portal Brett like muffins got the places he is.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: This center from Southern Illinois, uh, yeah, I guess he's athletic guy.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: I saw the post it that been standing put out there.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Jason, he did say he was.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so we'll see next time you'll hear from us, will be next Tuesday, recapping anything coming out of the rookie many camps.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: We'll also just for the sake of actually doing what we got to do.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to probably try to get a local one and see what their thoughts was from anybody that stood out in rookie many camps as well.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I think we're good.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: film session.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: All 32 on tomorrow.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: And film such films that the answer on the wheels feels excuse me.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's going to be another one coming out by the end of this week if not next week.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, y'all stay tuned.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy the playoffs tonight.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll take it easy on do too much gambling.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do not want to do it.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_03]: Alright, we out here, man.
