- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's brother, man.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_04]: It was good, it was good.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man, saying a man, man.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's man, saying that's about it.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, so when you are, like, dude, you have like, scoops, like, dude drink, like, I said drink.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_04]: Do you eat like soups and stuff like that when you have like an upset stomach or I, how do you do I drink soup?
- 2:20[SPEAKER_04]: Was that like, was that like a soup incident?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you, you need something light on your stomach.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, honestly, I didn't even feel like I wanted to eat.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have to say, um, yeah, because I guess for me, I'm used to eating African soup, so like, food for a soup, all not to make it, uh, my mom not here to make it anymore.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, so I really, um, don't really have soups like that, because I really don't know where to get like a solid.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: like good chicken noodle soup that don't have a whole bunch of sodium because if you buy like chicken noodle soup from the store, no matter what brand, that's not like 1300 grams of sodium in it.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_04]: So, I get a lot from the paner, paner, brinera, brinera too, and that's the funny thing because this is the same thing when I eat the soup, age and I'm like, bro, you can taste, you can taste the sodium, bro.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_04]: It's crazy.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: So, about saying you ain't got an African restaurant, you can go to A.J.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now, see, that's the thing with Africa food, bro.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like...
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: especially West Africa, like each country makes they food differently.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: So like how I'm used to like burying the food tasting is not how people from Ghana make it or uh, serrily owned or Ivory Coast or whatever Nigeria and like everybody make they food differently.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like same thing with that's why I like if you ever heard if you ever had like African friends just in general we always battling about like
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's just rice, but the way that we make it is so different from my country, we put like chicken, some people put like sausage, shrimp, mix vegetables or whatever, and then the Nigerians just make it like red rice, like it'd be so different.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: So it's hard, like I definitely earlier this year, got forced in the barn, some
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: I was like never again, bro.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: So it was like, it's like, you go through withdraws.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's almost like if you on drugs, bro, like, I just, because my mom really could cook, like not even just saying that because she's my mom, like, some that people paid her to do outside of her work, she ain't cater or whatever.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: She just could cook.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just tough, like, eating somebody else's African food, even like some of my odds, they'd be trying to,
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: Send little things and be like, if shit nasty, bro.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: Went, went, went thing I can't do.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: I can't fake, I can't fake with the food.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if something nasty to me is nasty, I don't care who made it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: It could be a 95-year-old grandma.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: She put that in front of me on the be like this shit.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's some shit, it's straight up.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_04]: I will look, um, if you have on my side, Brad, I got this, I got this nice little spot that I, I go to now granted.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to keep it above with you, Brad, and it's just this part is going to disappoint you.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I haven't had their African food yet, but they are African.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: So what?
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I can't listen.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I get there.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_04]: I get there chicken and they're jala-fresh or I get there chicken or they're rice and rice and peas Yeah, but it's a it's a I think I think she's damn I never asked Florida where she's from but I think it's either
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: Nigerian or Liberia.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: If I had it, those are those are the two that's sticking out for me where.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_04]: But if you have run that spot, bro, I take you there because I haven't had her jerk chicken in a long time.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_03]: I go out and say, bro, I got one out here with sassy surprise and like in the wall door, we actually got a West African spot.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: And I went there when I was sick, bro.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I told the lady I was like, man, I need something that's going to make me feel a better.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_03]: She said, I got to go meet up this suit.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_03]: She said spicy.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: I like spicy.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's the best soup I've had.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: My life though, Brad.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: I have so much to go with.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: It bring you back to life, dog like like even in our culture when you out party in.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: You had a long night, like y'all been drinking all day, like before people normally leave the vet.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: They they'll have hot pepper soup because you won't get no hangover So just like that it bring you back the life bro like so it's just yeah ain't had no soup, right?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then I was in the store with my girl and then she was like You want you want to buy this a what was this seven dollar Panera bread package soup in the store I would like no girl already know it got a whole bunch of sodium in it and it's not she looked it was like
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: Well, 50.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I told you.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_04]: He said he had some brown curry goat that had him going through some things.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: And I never had no curry before and I really have ate goat meat.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: But I like that's crazy.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_04]: There's one thing and we could move on after this.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_04]: There's one thing I had the best first impression with y'all of race ever in my life, because I was a kid and one of my best friends when I was in elementary.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_04]: He was Nigerian.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_04]: And his family they didn't they didn't give a damn like where you was from like they ate with they ate in the house So when I say the night of the day house they had jolly rice for and I love spicy food So like their jolly rice was soup.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_04]: I never had it before, but it was super spicy And I'm like damn what is this?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_04]: I start it.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: I ain't even I ain't had none else right.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_04]: I just started
- 7:50[SPEAKER_04]: Paul and my plate, which is Ray's Burr, and just press an inch, crushing an inch, so like, that's the last, that's honestly even when I was a kid, like that's the last time I ever had a dollar break, that was like spicy.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_04]: I have a first and first of all, I usually pack some heat, but I never met, I never had an un-since that's like spicy, and I'm still looking for it, to this day.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_04]: So we're good.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, African people know them peppers that are, that are definitely make you cry, sweat, like, I'm talking about my family.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: They eat so much hot pepper that they be, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh,
- 8:36[SPEAKER_02]: But I did, the crazy thing is I did go to a Jamaican restaurant before we end this.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I went to a Jamaican restaurant two months ago in Alexandria on Richmond Highway.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's called Rumi's or some or rubies dog.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: The jerk chicken was so spicy, bruh, like just like Jay Tyler, everything was burned.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: But it was good, it was good, even the ginger beer was spicy, bruh.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: The ginger, the ginger beer is called either rumies or rubies, um,
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: Jamaican restaurant on Richmond Highway.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's on the beginning part of Richmond Highway.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_02]: So once you cross the bridge It's like five to ten minutes down the street That joint the food banging on can't even lie.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: Food good.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's just that if you not you stick If you're not expecting to get that home rubies.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you don't know what to expect But as soon as as soon as you start eating it's like, yeah, it's good.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was really good
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: I love spicy girl, but I can't do the two spicy jerkshick a tropical channel and what was that?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_03]: You sure you're gonna flow to have them back in the day.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think they turned into one of the most lightest choice, but they yeah, the spicy is jerkshick and I can do them.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: Hey Dre, you remember that your name can do called Muffa Man?
- 9:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, um, that was in Maryland, over there, uh, let them.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you said that was my guy.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_02]: He ended up opening the spot in a false church regime.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: I went to look, I went to go get some earlier this year.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: Man, found out he passed away.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: So shout out to my friend, man, whatever.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was busing his ass, where does Jamaica restaurant, Brad?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he has a lot of stuff there.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_04]: I added that, John.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm an understanding, but what you would do right now I'm dietary reasons that they said for my situation in Crohn's disease.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: I can't have too much spicey, so I got it.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_04]: I got a dieted back, but I used to love it.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_04]: All right, that's another food talk.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_04]: Jake Tizzy, I get it.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_04]: I'm actually interested in figuring out what African curry is like in terms of experiencing that.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like the, I've only had Jamaican and Indian.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_04]: And I guess tie, I think, I think.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see what's up.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so we don't have too much to talk about today, honestly.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_04]: I only have a couple of things that's come out.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_04]: No a brown has been placed on IR again.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_04]: And Jaden Dan use is essentially done for the season.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_04]: I think, obviously, we can start with Jaden, and the conversation with Jaden.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_04]: for us, us three, I think we were kind of split.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_04]: Because I think, I mean, Dre at one point, you were, this is before the, I'm talking about before the Vikings injury.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_04]: Before you decide, I'm just gonna see before he returns to the Vikings game.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_04]: We were in a standpoint of like, I think me, AJ says, sit them, eventually when Terry came back and I saw the performance that he had against Denver,
- 11:49[SPEAKER_04]: I said, I'm interested in seeing what these last four can look like if he can come back.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_04]: So when he was announced to come back in his Minnesota, I was excited, and I was interested in seeing what the offense can look like down the stretch.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_04]: As I was always, I guess, on tentos, despite anything, just sit them, understandable.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I think Jerry, healthy, if he's healthy and clear, go ahead and play them.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think they made the right, the right Coral.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_04]: I think we all kind of understood at this point, you get hurt again, bro.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_04]: Meaning before the Vikings game, you get hurt again.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like, there was no point in you coming back in.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I think for Washington, he reactivating his elbow injury.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they saw any positive outcome
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: If we decided to come back after he misses a New York game, I think they, I think it was an easy call to sit them.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_04]: And I think at this point, bro, it's just rest up.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's just an unfortunate season for a guy who you know, had such a year to hit in 2024.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I only come back and play in seven games in 2025 and only play four full games and really I only be healthy and brave them because he got a play of the full Packers game and got hurt.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I had it all to you all, but I know one favorite and every single prediction that we had or every single scenario that we had with this season, but I ain't, I ain't see this one coming, not even close.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, honestly none of us, we, it was kind of predicted what MVP season for Jaden and everything before the season, but yeah, for me, the pre-mast when I was on, you know, the whole kick of all, you know, he should play if he's helped.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: What you're saying?
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's pre-mast, premise, premise, oh my god, bro, hey, so they were doing this felony, I don't know if that's in the chat.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's in the chat, no, that's in the chat.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's in the chat, that's in the chat.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_03]: No, boy, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 14:30[SPEAKER_03]: But I can spell it like shit though, so you don't want to do this.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: We all know the same boat, whether AJ won't believe it or not.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_04]: We all get shit, you're not good.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, like Bernoulli, that's probably what that is.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe he's saying, how you been saying, Bill name all season burn, even after you, after you got them to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the,
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it is, it is what it is.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: But maybe what we'll do to like, end off our season, it's like some listeners, like sending some words that they want us to pronounce.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I almost like a GMC broadcast.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you right now.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: I give him my A.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: You get a Monterey on the ground.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_03]: You right, man.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_03]: We had a fast education.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, a good person for that would be disco.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: This go be a good person for that.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: Hey.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: We could get this go.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: We could get this go.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: We could get this go.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: We could get this go.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_04]: We could get this go.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_04]: or something like that, so.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, but yeah, I'll be fine.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's my kind of very good.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: We can do it, man.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_03]: Look, like I said, I'm a piece of this fellow pronunciation, I'm 60% or 70% off, but no, man.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_03]: My whole point was if Jaden's healthy, he could play.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I wanted him to prove that he could stay healthy.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_03]: And he didn't prove that.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_03]: He went out there, I mean, not to say that it was a serious injury or anything he had against the Vikings, but it was enough to scare you to say, okay, this is it.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_03]: And then when they said that he could have went back in, but then they kind of said he couldn't
- 16:05[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't playing that giant game.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, is that playing it shut down?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what are we doing here?
- 16:10[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, for me, they prolong the conversation a week for what at this point.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_03]: I would have been doing a competitive edge thing still.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what's going on?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm like, if you can't play in a giant game, but you said you could have played in the Vika's game, then you kind of flip flopping a yellow one.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: Which made me think that the call came from the front office.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: At the end of the day, they made the right decision this time, like, I mean, at this point, it was no advocating, Jayden, to go back out there and play, you know, if you're going to sit them down, like, it's why, why keep playing with him in and out, in and out, in and out.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that led to a lot of the struggles you see from Jayden this season, like, Jayden just couldn't get in the rhythm.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: He's in and out of the line up.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_03]: And that really is he in and out of the line up.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: Every time he comes back in place,
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: He's playing with different personnel like you can't get into a rhythm and I think Jaden is a rhythm player like Jaden needs to see things constantly He needs to see those reps constantly to get into the rhythm to look good and you know go off there and be the Jaden He needs the beat, but if he's constantly in and out in a line up everything around him is constantly changing on a week-by-week basis It's you're going to see those struggles like this
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: the struggles aren't surprising to me.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: So just go ahead and sit him out, let him get right, hopefully you can avoid the injury but I'll next you here.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_03]: Cause this is the first year that he's really,
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: dealt with injuries as far as keeping them out of games.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_03]: He hasn't missed games throughout college throughout high school, throughout the NFL, up to this point this season.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_03]: So just let him get right back next year, and hopefully everything, you know, can break the right way this time, at least as far as injury advice.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_03]: So I believe a healthy Jaden is going to give you what you saw year one for Jaden.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, good old school ever did make the call.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: If a call was made,
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: I should have been done a long time ago, along with Noah Brown being on injury reserve.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: I knew something was coming today after he posted what he did yesterday.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, this man is over here posting clips from last year, this year, the one catch, whatever.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: But it's just like, at some point, man, there's no need to see more, just rest up for the next season because at the end of the day,
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: If the goal is for this front office to be able to bring in a bunch of players aside from just throwing money at them and at guys that are in the free agency market, it's selling them on the fact that they could play with a jayton deans.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: So if that person goes out and gets injured for a extended period, I mean, such as we've seen over the weekend, a guy in Pat Mahomes towards ACL when the game was pretty much
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they still, they still had a chance.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_06]: It was a point game.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I meant to say like, they still had a chance, but now they got eliminated from playoff contention.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: He tore his ACL, probably not going to be able to return back until mid October, if anything, of next year.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: So now your season is pretty much on the line.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Next year with Kansas City, you probably going to have some chances there.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Then even with the Packers, Michael Parsons, they gave it a lot of acid to get this one guy.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: in order of hopes to push into the next level, especially when they get into the playoffs.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: And now he's gone for a year.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: He probably won't be back until October next year as well.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like anything can happen.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I just felt like he is your main player.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: He is one of your two blue chip players on this team.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: And he's the main reason why guys
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: with even consider taking a lower pay or taking that opportunity to come into Washington because you have that franchise guy is it's it's no different than
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: Planned matters, just to simplify for some people.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like some guys in matters when you get that free agency pool in franchise mode, some of their main motivations of where they wanna go is, does this team have a franchise guy?
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: And you need to make sure that that person is healthy and you can help to acquire guys based on the fact you do have that main piece right there at QB, you're not really figuring out.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that it didn't make sense.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, Drake for having to come back out there
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: jags, like it's just a bunch of guys, like, I mean, just a collection of so many different wild receivers that we've seen this year, different variations.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they elevated practice guide so much that he couldn't be signed.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: He couldn't be put on the practice spot again unless he was put on the 53.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: That just tells you that you had a wild receiver issue overall.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean,
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of people and his fans are giving clips and passes because of the fact that Jaden wasn't the quarterback or why we see his weren't necessarily healthy but I'm still hoping that there's some changes on the office inside the ball because I went, I went Jaden to be in the office where
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: He feels more comfortable at the line of scrimmage, but also knowing that his wide receivers have a more extensive route tree and options versus having to fill the need to hold onto the ball a little bit longer and trying to create something on the fly.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm not necessarily concerned about him
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: health standpoint.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that, you know, you sit back with Lex and see how everything's going.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Plan to start your recruiting trip in San Francisco at the Super Bowl and you got to do your appearances.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe get some guys in here that fit with his
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: his play skill a little bit more because I don't think they have enough weapons that fit so what really made him thrive at LSU to win the husband that year.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see guys that replicate what his real strengths are.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe some things can change but I didn't want to see him out on the field and put himself at risk of overcomposing for his body and also for the lack of players that he has around him.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_04]: Another thing that I think about too, um, that probably influenced the decision.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, I've been paying attention, but Marcus Mary ordered, he hoping.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_04]: Well, he got his one of one or two.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_04]: Like, my own head moments, but like, it's not like they, because what I'm saying is like, they know the season's over, but like this, it's not like the people, the receipt, because put it this way, Sam Howe, whoever the other quarterbacks were with the other coach, it was times,
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: where you would look at like the offense and you couldn't evaluate the other players on the offense.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_04]: And that was a big deal for us.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_04]: That was a big deal for coaches, right?
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: It was that bad.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm not sitting here saying, like I said, Mario, it is like superstar right now, but like he's playing above average football.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and I think like they're not desperate to make a change at quarterback, uh, it's easy to shut them down.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and I think about, uh, was, uh, important for Jayden as well as like a mental reset.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I, I don't know, I don't know what everything that he's been going through, like mentally.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_04]: Um,
- 23:36[SPEAKER_04]: But you know like there was there was weeks where he was off like this isn't like a full criticism of Jayden per se but more so like I wonder like how much time off can really do wonders for him where he's not focused about injuries he's not focused about Mike the the 7,000 different lineups that while receiver and tight in
- 23:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's all about let me go ahead and support my teammates and a backup role and an in practice and then let's gear up for 26 Oh, what the hell That's what you was laughing at money ball comment Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he will take he he is what he want to have that's money ball for you right then
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: All right, users say, I don't know, what's up, user?
- 24:27[SPEAKER_04]: Let me say that if he stays healthy next year, are you extended him before 27, 20, 27?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, and we're gonna talk about, actually, let's answer this question and then do our underdog and then come back to here with Jayden had to say and with Dan Quinn had to say as well.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_04]: So he said, are you extended him before 20, 27?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so 2027 before 2027 it will be here three typically like if there's an extension it will be year four right so that will be 2028 you get the fifth year option.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't think you're extending him if he had an MVP season we're talking about somebody passing for 4500 35 35 35 the 35 plus total touchdowns like
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you do try to extend them, but there shouldn't be a rush.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_04]: This early to try to extend them, if you say it's held.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_04]: Just want to try to, if you say it's healthy.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: I think there's opportunity for Washington to still one more year of his rookie deal to try and post up the roster around them before you worry about having a page.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree a hundred percent.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: There's no rush to get that done year three specifically because you do want to take advantage of that rookie Contra.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's the whole point of having that fifth year option like to give jade and another chance with, you know, You possibly going out there spending a little bit more money, but that's on Adam Peters and Josh Harris.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think like as far as are they going to be, are they going to open up those checkbooks and are they going to spend enough money to put
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: things around Jayden, not just on the offense, but on the defensive side of football as well.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: But you have to take advantage of that year as far as spending and free aid to see possibly, maybe extend to somebody else.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_03]: And then you get that deal done with Jayden after year four before going into year five because you don't want to sit your way in that and that one should be easy.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_03]: That one should be almost like the tonsil deal what we've been kind of talking about with tonsil.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: Like the tonslet bill should be an easy thing.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's an elite player.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's probably taught five to seven at his position.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_03]: Jayden, if Jayden comes back and he stays healthy next year and assuming a healthy Jayden gives you what he gave you year one, that's a quarterback in the top five conversation.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_03]: That's a easy deal to have.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: So you shouldn't have any hiccups with that deal.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_03]: You Jayden can reset the market and that wouldn't be a problem.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: If he plays at the level then Jayden's kicking block playing.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't think there's a rush
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: to do so in year three just because you do want to steal that year because when Jane has started making that money, things will get a little tight.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like you see when quarterback started making that money, you have to sacrifice a couple of things and not going to go out there and be able to spend and you know, and a lot of different positions, you're going to have to, you know, think about what's positions you want to, you know, put money here and there because you quarterback's taking up a huge percentage of that salary cap.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_03]: So you don't want to go a year early of the quarterback taking that percentage of that salary cap if you don't have to.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: into year four, and get that done before year five, but much way early before year five starts.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_03]: You don't even want to talk about going into training camp, not even close to training camp, without having that deal done.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I think that,
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: Jaden Daniels, or whatever, I would definitely look at possibly extended and sooner than later, I would have necessarily waited on a long period of time to get that done.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: I feel that you can go ahead and try to get that knocked out the way and not necessarily have to worry about, I think, you're in a situation similar to Trevor Lawrence, Calamaria, and stuff like that.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: But, um,
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's really a decision that they got to make.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think that you found your guy, you just pretty much have to go about doing things a bit differently and seeing how you can build around him.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: Because I feel like you feel that he can lead you to the right places is just more so.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, what are you going to get done?
- 28:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I do agree with some of the comments where it's like the games is being built a bit differently, offensively, schematically when it's Mario to versus J.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: And Daniel's at QB, I don't know why that is, but maybe that's a comfortability thing where Mario can be in that spread of versus having to be forced to be in certain offices like the Texan, I mean, the Titans, Raiders, Atlanta, and he feels more comfortable there.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_04]: This is a this is a this is a perfect offense for mariota.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_04]: My it's is no advantage of us about it and I think when you're 10 years into the league It's not only like something that's here familiar with schematically, but just like you've also seen several thousand different forms of cover four
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: cover to all these variants of coverages and rush games like I think things are it's a little bit easier for you to prepare for and it's also something that you can succeed pre-snap with just identify some things.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's take our break and we come back.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_04]: We will talk about what Jayden had to say.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_04]: He spoke today and then we'll cover some of the quotes from Dan Quinn, DQ.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_04]: It's time, football season is in full swing and underdog is the best place to get in on all the action.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_04]: Get your picks right and you can win up to 5,000 times yet cash, 5,000.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: And I would love to know if you all hit on a big underdog, play it, go ahead and tell me what it was.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_04]: Matter of fact, at me and show me, show me your winning.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so we got Los Angeles versus Seattle Thursday night football, that game won't go crazy.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_04]: And because, because I know Mario Forbes is on that defense, give me Jackson Smith and Jigba for 91 and I have received me.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's going to get at least one, 21 of them.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_04]: Um, no final way to move them around, get them involved early and often, uh, against the Los Angeles Rams.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: Matt Stafford, his number is low as passing on to the 237.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, for a guy who's been a clips in 250 easily for X amount of weeks, um, I think that's a ton of respect for Seattle and their defense.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and I'm going to go under.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think you can get like 230.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_04]: uh... debonsate happens being out is not helpful uh... because that boy and it was like he's always hamstring off the bone um... let's go cavern Williams we're going to go higher on his version yards fifty four and a half and we're going to go where's Sam drawn on it i like kuper cut he's at thirty three and a half receiving yards we're going to go high on kuper cup thirty three and a half receiving yards
- 31:50[SPEAKER_04]: on the day.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: So those are your four picks.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_04]: Download the app today and use promo code Chopper Dances for $75 now.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_04]: I say $50, $75.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_04]: We go to that.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_04]: And bonus entries when you play your first $5 is that it's promo code, Chopper Dive.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: Underdog, make picks when my team plus 19 plus in Alabama in Nebraska, 19 plus in Colorado for some games, 21 plus in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia, and present in a state where underdog fantasy operates.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Terms apply.

- 32:44[SPEAKER_04]: So Jay didn't have a full interview with the pressure to media afterwards.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't get to hear the whole thing, so I saw some quotes that was coming out of it.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_04]: obviously frustrated and disappointed by his injury riddle season.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_04]: What I thought would actually let me to believe that his regression since the Vikings game, in terms of his injury, was real was when he said like adrenaline is one hell of a drug.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_04]: So maybe he was like cleared
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: on game day after he got every re-indred it, but maybe Monday or Tuesday when they be a reevaluations, they kind of figured, you actually, you actually not right.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: So I say I bring that up because like conspiracy theorists who think that he's fully healthy and he can play now, I think we had this conversation
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: last week where I said like I think he may not go in unless he's like 95 plus percent like good to go.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's kind of where they are too.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_04]: If you ain't 99 percent healthy, we're not going to play you.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_04]: And I think he's just never crossed their threshold whatever it was.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_04]: He never crossed their threshold and therefore it's just not worth it.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_04]: What do you all think about
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think when you got a team doctor, there's always a conflict of interest.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: You can kind of pretty much, you can pretty much maneuver however you want to, whether it be getting clearance or not getting clearance.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen guys in the league play with even worse situations that probably wouldn't get clear by any other medical staff outside of the organization.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: I just think
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: but Jaden's injury is a contact injury.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: So you're not really going to get the test it out until you start getting hit.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: So whether you're playing good, you can clean passes or incomplete situations or you're running, you're hitting the ground, just human nature, you got to brace yourself at that fall.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_02]: So you're going to be using your hands, your arms,
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: whatever the case to help you with that fall.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, do you want that guy to keep going out there and testing that out?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: Cause that's genuinely what's gonna happen.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: No matter he could throw for 450 yards and four touchdowns in that particular game, but he's gonna get tested out, whether they're in the pocket out the pocket.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: could even just be an interception.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he got hurt on throwing a pick and trying to run down and get the guy for a tackle.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just one of those situations where you really can't test that that injury out until you're in the middle of a game and having to go through real life situations of getting hit.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: So I just feel like
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: some people be like, yeah, he could play right now.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he could play if there was something actually on the line.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: If they were in playoff convention or had a successful record, I don't think you see him get shut down.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: But I think Dan Quinn was asked that question today.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, well, we're not.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, there it is.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_02]: And that's pretty much how I look at it.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think that even some of the injuries that he has occurred this year, if they were a better suited team, overall, I think he wouldn't have probably missed any game or at minimum, maybe just one.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: but the season just didn't go as they thought and as even we thought that they'd be in a better situation and hasn't been there, okay, so that's what it is.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_04]: Well, to be one thing, Jerry, just to make things clear, because, Jayden said one of the full things he said, adrenaline is a hell of a drug, but he said, then he actually said the part about the next days.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: Early out there and noted he said this, but he said, Jayden said the next day that it became clear that his elbow injury was still significant.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so in all, I think he, if it was a, my opinion, if it was a team that was a better record and they had a chance at the playoffs, it sounds like he still would have missed some time, but who knows if he would have been put on IR or something like that.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, but it's, it seems like he should, that's another thing.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_04]: It seems like he should have just never played the fucking like his game, but good.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna be honest man, I'm kind of a full-blown conspiracy there was mode with Jaden in his injury.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_03]: I think Jaden could play the jazz game last week personally.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's just me, but I think this gives them a valid excuse to say that we don't have to, we not play them anymore this the rest of the season.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I do think this pain, I do think that he has some sort in his there, but I do think that if this
- 37:46[SPEAKER_03]: this is a normal season, maybe if Jaden doesn't get injured a few times already this season.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_03]: I think you see him go out there and play this season, but I just think this is the best excuse that you have at this point and it's a good excuse.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_03]: Instead of just saying, you know, we don't want him playing anymore without a really valid reason to say so, this gives you a legit reason.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_03]: He did hurt that elbow like that elbow injury was ugly.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_03]: He hurt it, but at the same
- 38:13[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you went out there and threw him out there in the fight against game, like what made you feel like out there in the fight against game, he was healthy enough to play, you know, even though, you know, he went out there and he looked like he reiterated again that he can't play anymore for the rest of the season.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_03]: But I think this is just the way protecting Jaina without kind of, you know, setting off those alarm bills within the lock room, like, oh, you're sitting him out, he's healthy.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you can say, hey, man, that elbow injury, you know, we don't want to test it.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_03]: And that's cool.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's fine.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but I do think that there was something on the line that Jayden is playing for the rest of the season, like, you know, when you're talking about, you know, there's playoffs on the line or anything, but this is the right move at this point.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like, this is the right move.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't know, you know, who exact me if it was a team doctor, Clint, Adam Peters, whatever, but at this point of the season is no reason to test that out.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_03]: And he was no reason to put Jayden at homes,
- 39:03[SPEAKER_03]: and even try to aggravate anything, not even just the elbow but anything on Jaden's body at this point.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like there's nothing else to play for this season and Jaden's already suffered a few injuries already this season.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: Just put them on.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_03]: I said this point and that's a good valid reason at this point is to say hey man that elbow injury is significant at this point and we don't want to play him.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: And Jaden even I think one of the coolest I did here I'm saying
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: today was is frustrating to get shut down.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a competitor.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_03]: I want to play.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: And yes, we all believe that.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: But at the same time, I think Jayden also knows what's a state.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_03]: And and Jayden probably has come to the realization that, yeah, man, you know, this is not, you know, the best situation for me to keep coming in and out of the lineup, playing whatever the case may be.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: So you think you think he knows that dream?
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's what?
- 39:53[SPEAKER_02]: Like that this might be the best case scenario for them because I mean you could you could be a competitor But you also got to understand like What am I what am I competing for like at some point?
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think I look at it Like let's let's look at Drake versus Kendrick Lamar like Drake has been viewed as the number one rapper for the longest time and still still is in the numbers back that up
- 40:22[SPEAKER_02]: You go against a, uh, a Kenji Lamar, there's not that for you to really gain from that, right?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: But you still let ego get the best of you and you go and you put yourself out there.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: to where you're going to where you're going to battle, but there's nothing to gain.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: You're just essentially in a lose lose.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: You're filming because you the biggest guy whereas how I look at it for Jaden is like you could be a competitor, but sometimes somebody guy sits you down and tells you like, hey, man, you got to pick your battles and wait, you're for, what's the record for in 10?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: 14.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: You're four and 10, you could be a competitor all you want to but you ain't getting to the mountain top but what you truly competing for which is ultimately getting to the Super Bowl and he got such a glory taste of getting so close to the Super Bowl his rookie year is just like, hey man, we got to slow you down and like you can't keep coming back because when you have all these different injuries or whatever you're over compensating at some part
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: He could be mad, whatever, I don't know if he really sat back and really got the true premise of what is going on, because I mean, he's still young, but he also has played a lot of football, but I don't take from that presser that he truly understood why they're doing this.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's like he's still trying to get to that space.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'll try to understand, or am I, am I reading that wrong?
- 41:53[SPEAKER_03]: I think he understood AJ for me personally, I've read it as he understands, but he doesn't have to like it.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you can, you can not understand some, I mean, you can understand some, but you don't have to like it just because you understand it.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I think for Jayden and football is just fun to Jayden.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like we've heard Jayden talk about this plenty of times even over the last year about all my biggest play football.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_03]: I love football.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_03]: I love the game of football.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: So even if he's not playing for nothing or competing for anything,
- 42:19[SPEAKER_03]: Jayden is like I'm missing games and this is you also gotta remember this is not familiar to Jayden like you know these injuries like he may have been injured before because it's a misgames like Jayden is used to playing football when his team's play football so that's why say he may I think he understands it but like it's just because you understand something doesn't mean you have to like it.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_03]: Well I think Jayden is not having fun right now not playing football but at the same time you see about there on the practice field he still have a fun with Dan Quinn's laugh and he's joking he doesn't look like a matter of set here
- 42:48[SPEAKER_03]: But I know deep down, I heard some that he can't finish this season out, especially when he's ended this season on a bat or a sour look for a Jaden Daniels.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't end this season away, or that Jaden Daniels envisioned this season ago.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: So again, yes, I do think he understands, but that doesn't mean yes, I like it.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, I think that's a really good question.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how he feels first and foremost.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, of course we don't, but like I can't even like lean which way and how he feels because like the response in terms of getting the idea of what he understands about his injuries or how the organization even feels about them, it's likely gonna play out on the field.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_04]: That's that's when you kind of see like, do you get the message, do you understand and that doesn't mean like dial back who you are a thousand percent, but like how like how can you be at your most effective like changing small areas of your game.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's not asking too much, you can figure it out.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_04]: Again, paid millions of dollars to figure it out.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_04]: And it's an organization that's behind you.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_04]: You got a fan base behind you.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: You got coaches behind you.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_04]: They rooting for you, they need you.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like you can figure out how to tweak your game just a little bit.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_04]: And I say that to say, I think in his responses today, I think he was just like more frustrated than anything because you talk about a person who's rarely missing time in his collegiate career.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_04]: He didn't miss time last year.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_04]: So I think the overall injuries mounting up and like three different injuries, but
- 44:36[SPEAKER_04]: I had to leave the game four different times.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_04]: One of them was one injury twice.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying?
- 44:44[SPEAKER_04]: Like I think those are things that's just probably the more frustrating thing it's cause it's like yo, you talk about a person who's like, this is not who I am.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_04]: This is never happened to me.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_04]: I'm mad, I'm a competitor, I wanna play.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_04]: But in terms of what you ask AJ is a really good question, I don't know if we can see that anytime soon, I think the next time we'll see like if he really gets the message and he really understands like the magnitude of like what you went through this year is how he plays and football in 2026.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_03]: But what does that look like for me like, I mean for me like,
- 45:18[SPEAKER_03]: How do you I mean for Jane and I understand you know a lot of fans like especially when he takes off and he runs You want him to get out of bounds.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: You want him to get down immediately But some of those injuries check down injuries.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean yeah, check down Brian he he and he and when people don't she like when people say like When people wonder why people think that or why people say that Jane and hasn't
- 45:44[SPEAKER_04]: or he could be better, like those are one of the areas.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like find your check down, let them get those five yards or break something off more times than you trying to escape the pocket.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: Like the sliding and diving down, I actually don't have a problem with it.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's done a solid job of that even through last year and protecting himself in that fashion.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like don't extend plays always towards a sideline.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: Like most more times than that, Jaden, if you're a notice, like Jaden isn't like throwing the ball when he's near the sideline, he just runs out of bounds.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like he's looking down, feel to throw a bomb or to throw somewhere like he usually throws in between the numbers.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_04]: So like, don't even risk the sidelines stuff.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I think there is different ways to be more efficient in your game.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: And it all has to do with getting the ball out of your hands quicker.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: Let me ask you this as someone that watches a bunch of films.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: Do you feel like Cliff, in his office of Skimwyn, Jayden, was playing this year, gave me enough answers to getting the ball out that quickly?
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: because I think like what I see and also what some of our listeners are saying that they see is that
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: People, people are the not understanding why the game looks a little bit different when it comes to Mario Diverses when it's when it's jaded Daniels back there.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: Hold on.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm gonna talk to him.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_04]: Don't let dress it here.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_04]: Bruh, cause it's like, yeah, I don't see it until you, yeah, you good.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because it's just like I ain't rocking with that, but at the end of the day, like people are seeing the game called differently.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel like the office coordinator needs to challenge him a bit more or whatever, and I just wanted to get your personal take on that.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I saw it in the chat.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: I think those are the way in which it was tailored, that the people that was the commenters and the way it was tailored, I think it was more of a convenience thing for people.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_04]: Like, come on, think about it.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_04]: Mario to play last year too.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like Mario to play last year.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it's a style, it's a style of play that Mario to comfortable with and he's excellent in Cliff King's very often.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like Jayden excels last year too.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think we just got to understand is there's some things like, like, we know Jaden is super effective as a runner.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Cliff dows up several different design run plays for for um, for Jaden, but also there's two things in the world.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_04]: And then like it's not like he doubted back for Mary out of Mary out of still has RPOs and his and his and his tool box that that cliff uses.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_04]: Um, uh, uh, the game that.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, Jaden got hurt and Minnesota, they didn't they specifically didn't have RPO or any design run plays and they're for Jaden because they couldn't risk it.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_04]: So I think from like the way in which the actual responses or opinions on cliff Kingsbury's offense, as it opposed the quarterbacks, I think that's just a thing out of convenience and just like looking for a reason to blame.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_04]: If we're talking about specifically though answers for a quarterback, we can have that conversation about both of them because I think we know the type of offense that
- 49:28[SPEAKER_04]: and that the offense that he has doesn't really give you too many answers outside of like what you're supposed to see a pre-snap and how you're supposed to rethink posts in that right and I think actually hard knocks did a good job in the last episode of even like showcasing that in there like there they're like five in walkthrough like what he wants to see from Jayden like if if the safety shows such and such like
- 49:54[SPEAKER_04]: they talk about like what you want what you're supposed to do preamp posts and what you should do preamp posts.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_04]: But I think the answers for like aligning your players and positions to be successful against like matchups and matchup based I think that's kind of the conversation that we need to have and also the abilities to set up.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_04]: like the run or ability to set up the pace.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_04]: I think those things are more important than a quarterback versus quarterback thing.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_04]: And Cliff doesn't really do a good job of being consistent in the right game.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_04]: And he doesn't do a good job of giving up.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: The receiver's the best chance to win matchups.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I think that's where I just get frustrated with the whole cliff thing.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_02]: We're seeing teams miss some guys on office and things still click.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: And I want to put money ball on the time out, bro.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I want to put the band out.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_03]: But, who?
- 50:59[SPEAKER_03]: Money ball, love triggered us.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's just, it's just at the end of the day, man.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: When you see other teams play on a weekly basis, you just want to see more for
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: like you want him to reach his full potential.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I just think that in this current offensive scheme and how Cliff treats him, he's not getting the opportunity to grow.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that's because of just how he calls the games.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I mean, like you said, Mom, we see them not care about risk when it comes to Mario to run in the ball.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_02]: You film me?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they might start the first 15 with Mario to run in the ball at least three or four times.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: It in the first looks or whatever, but you do see a lot of 12 and 13 personnel even the play that we talk about Where a clip did dial it up perfectly against zero coverage.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: We're been sent it caught with a 30 R pass a lot of people are like Oh, why don't we get been involved more?
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that was that was a strategic play call that was time that right now
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was it was time that the perfect time and Javon Holland didn't play his inside leverage, so he was able to get the advantage there and then sitting and making that play, but you don't really get to see a lot of those opportunities with Jaden.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know this because Cliff knows Jaden can do so many more things with the ball in his hands, whether it be out of the pocket or within the pocket or even the way that he throws
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but it's just if I truly believe that we have a franchise quarterback going to pay him this long term big time money at the position.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see him be challenged by his office coordinator and being able to grow off of that each year.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_02]: Not coming back and trying to run the same things all the time, because I feel like that's where you can kind of say maybe people caught up a little bit, because it wasn't the offense to start the year off was very vanilla.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_02]: Whether you had Terry at the outside or Noah at the outside, it just wasn't really challenging
- 53:11[SPEAKER_02]: to to feel threatened and and that's my biggest right with with clips often.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: So that's just something that I've been thinking about.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: Here's one thing and I'm good.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_04]: You got the story.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_04]: One thing we also got to keep in mind, regardless of how we feel about Cliff, like I understand any coordinator that can get their hands on a Jayden Daniels is going to view him as like the ultimate weapon.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: Like, he is the offense, and that's how according to a view of him, I'm not saying you're saying that if you structure him in an offense, like it won't work.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_04]: I think you can really create a demon in the most positive way.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_04]: You can create a dog if you find him in the rice game and you can get him to fit within that structure, and then obviously break out and do his thing when the time calls for it.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_04]: But like I don't I think I think we got to understand like that he really is like Jaden is like he's he's a dog and and like things do change when he's in a lot of versus a backup quarterback.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: And you actually kind of lit where I was going to go with that because I think with Jada and this is kind of an opposite of when you, you know, you hear fans say that always calling a different office for this guy versus this guy.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_03]: But as you see more so that help this guy look better.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's usually with fans think, but in Jaden's case, I think.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_03]: Cliff respects the hell out of Jade is so much and he thinks so how he had jaded that he always thinks Jade can go out being carry an office regardless of who's around him and I think that was the curse this year.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: That was the curse because I don't think Cliff ever adjusted to the personnel around Jade in this year and I wanted the office because when Jane was out there throwing a Chris Moore and Traylon Berkson, Jaylin Lane and Luke McAfee and those are his like many top receivers and games for a lot of times that he's out there playing.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_03]: like you have to adjust it like he can't make everybody look like a star and I kind of thought that he would have served jaded better to go more 13 person out more 12 person out when you had that type of person out there with you at the receiving group and you can got kind of go a little bit more running heavy but
- 55:29[SPEAKER_03]: cliff trust jaded so much and he believes in jaded's ability so much that he thinks jaded can go out there and gunsling with anybody out there receiving and I think that hurt jaded in that times this season and that's one of those things you want to see kind of clip of all but because to me you have to adjust it a person now like I get it I get that you think that this quarterback is great and he is we we think he is too I we still believe in jaded but at the same time he's not always going to be in the elevator every one around them especially when you're talking
- 55:57[SPEAKER_03]: third, fourth and fifth option receivers that are now thrust into bigger rows.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: When you talk about like that Dallas game, I go back to that game when you have Chris Moore on Trin long birds and Jalen Lane is your top receivers in that game.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_03]: Debal Samuel was a Terry, Terry McCormr was out of that game.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like you didn't have top receivers in that game, but Jane is still going out there passing every damn down.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_03]: He's out of gun every down.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_03]: But I thought that it was served
- 56:27[SPEAKER_03]: I get the cliff respect, Jayden, I get the cliff things highly of Jayden, but I just think this year, when you're facing injuries the way you face this season, when your office isn't the normal office that you're playing with every week, that you have to adjust to that personnel.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_03]: Like, don't put it all on Jayden's back to say, go out there and be a gunslinger, even though you don't have the proper personnel around you to kind of make these things happen.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he did that last year, but last year, you had Terry all season.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_03]: You had a OZ who was pretty reliable.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_03]: No, a Brown played a lot more games last year.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_03]: Zach Irx was reliable last year.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, you didn't really have a lot of that this season.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought Cliff didn't do a good job of adjusting to that.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I don't know if Cliff's coming back next year, but if he does come back next year, I get it.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_03]: You still put the trust in Jayden, but you also have to adjust to whatever you have around Jayden to make this office successful.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think Cliff needs to also adjust as well.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just as a play caller, like, you know, you got that time away from the NFL, you came back and you made it seem like you were gonna do things a bit more differently.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_02]: year two started to look a lot like how it didn't air zone and also with collar collar had to run around a lot more having to put himself at risk of injury because there wasn't a lot of answers to to the problem.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just one of those things where I don't know what's going to happen offensively for, for, um,
- 57:57[SPEAKER_02]: the office coordinator position, but I just think that when when you watch of Miami, when you watch these other teams, and like a Detroit, you watch Chicago, what's another office, the Rams.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_02]: When you see the different variations of things that they do, just even with thin gun or under center, whatever the case is, you just kind of get a little jealous of damn, why aren't we really running something out?
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like why are we creating more motion offensively to throw people off?
- 58:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like why aren't we seeing more elements of the run game in different ways and playing off the run pass or the pass run?
- 58:38[SPEAKER_02]: It just gets a bit frustrating and Jayden is a football survivor.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm pretty sure for him, he probably just feels a little bit more challenging than not having the personnel around you.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_02]: It just hurts even worse.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_02]: Like, so I don't know, but I think that's one of the main highlights of this season.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yes, it didn't go as we all imagine.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_02]: I thought they'd be right back in
- 59:07[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's not going to happen, but I mean in this offseason, we get to see what they'll do to bounce back and I think a lot of the moves will be over, uh, analyze and should be because, uh, we don't feel like they did enough to, to, to build all this roster death wise, whether it be at the YRC position or pass rushers.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_02]: So where if you did suffer injuries, you could still be able to maneuver in that space.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_02]: and teams are still being able to be productive, even with losing major pieces, 49ers are what?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_02]: There may be 5 or 6 seed as far as the playoffs.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_02]: And they don't have Fred Warren, they don't have IU, they don't have Nick Bosa, they lost
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, Washington is just one of those situations where everything falls back on five.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_02]: And that shouldn't be the case, especially under a rookie contract.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_02]: You should be able to get more from the guys around them or that you're going to bring into the flow.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_03]: that was a good point.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_03]: There was way too much reliance on Jane and Daniels this season.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think that bled into the offseason last year because they saw what Jane could do and they didn't go out there and have urgency this will pass off season.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's going to be the big thing that Adam Peters has to look at this all season to say, we can't put everything on Jayden Daniels.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_03]: We did great the first season, leading this in a conference championship game, but this season was a disaster and he didn't play a lot this season.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_03]: So you have to insulate this roster.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_03]: Just the case he gets injured to say, this roster is still stay afloat when you talk about those 49est teams and all of that.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_03]: So a lot of that goes back to Adam Peters and he's going to have to have that change of philosophy this all season.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, um, then we'll go ahead and did here again.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate everybody who chopped it up in the chat money bowl.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, you were asked.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, f you.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_04]: Um, appreciate you anyway.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_04]: Monty, uh, who are Jay Tizi, uh, race, etc, etc, etc.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate y'all who chopped it up.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_04]: Um, we, we back on Thursday, all 32 back tomorrow.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, and then we got game on Saturday,
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so we will show you all that fellas.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on my second day of my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my juice and clans bro.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not telling you all about all my content that I look at on YouTube is fucking is like those food content creators, bro.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be looking at them eat their food, bro.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be looking at you told you yourself, bro.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_04]: You got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got,
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_04]: I do that, I do that like casually before I did the cleanse, but now I'm like every short or every Instagram room, I'm like, I need to see what I eat.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_03]: Mom, Mom, go watch the E2 2017 movie.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I've been doing because I'm watching well from the dairy, so I'm connecting all the pieces in there.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't it.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_03]: Your last date tomorrow, right?
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_04]: me in my last day tomorrow.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm Thursday, Thursday.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm good.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm going to be act.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to be in the office tomorrow.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_04]: So, but we got a holiday.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_04]: We got a holiday party tomorrow too.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, bro, like, how am I supposed to maneuver it?
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_04]: When I go to the junk, I know we're going to rush for lunch.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, I'm going to go to the junk and like tell them, like, I'm not eating or drinking.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_02]: Is it the day time?
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_04]: I could.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_04]: I could do a half day.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I could do a half day.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I work in the city, AJ, yeah, nothing good I didn't I didn't know if you how they party was that night or in the daytime Oh, yeah, no, it's it's during the day It's like doing like yeah, it's doing a work like it one or two o'clock.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_04]: So we we on the clock turn it up.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's what this what you do Order a bunch of food and have that joint for Thursday
