- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I can't wait for that.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I got hit big on it all this year.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I like I had a small little small little hit last season a couple times, but it wasn't enough.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, anyway.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, where we at I said earlier today that Rio.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure people on the YouTube side and commanders, social commanders community knows Rio where I'm said by said on social media and I post on YouTube that he'd be joining.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: Let's kind of go ahead and dip that in the belly right now.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: He had the cancel.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: So no Rio is just me, AJ.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: So if you don't like AJ, I don't know what to tell you.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: He can piss you off this episode.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: It gonna piss you off.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, when is this me, AJ?
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: If I can do it.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Drey is going to be back soon.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you know, his business to share, but just, you know, just send your thoughts and prayers to Drey, wait man for those who are supporters and followers of the show, man.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: Send your senior thoughts and prayers to AJ to Drey.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Um, he needs that man.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: Sean from love.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: You can, uh, think of that in nature.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but he'll be back when he's ready.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: So in the meantime, it's just me, AJ.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: Let me check in with the chat.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: Ben's, I'm glad campus started.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of fans, I'll shoot.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'll skip one.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of fans, what's up, Tim?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of fans I've seen talk and greasy about Terry's.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, wait until as they get's on the show.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: You won't be even more mad, Tim.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: Chef, what's up, man?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, what was Bro's meal today?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: What'd you fix, man?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: Which was you fixed the other new bar receiver one.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: You have been that Terry Terry's hold out there started.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: Let us know, man.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: What's up?
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: What was the mail prep today?
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, my son, yeah, president of Drake Brown.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, appreciate job.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate job.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to get AJ on.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, AJ, how you feeling, bro?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good, man.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good, man.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'm definitely.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, president to Drake.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what you said.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_03]: I just got in, but yeah, man, just keep our brother and your prayers.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, just love on your loved ones.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, man, just try to be there for your friends and let them know that you supported me.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: My bad.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: I was reading a text message.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: But no, yeah, I didn't say too much.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Just that, you know, okay.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just came on and I just seen seeing that.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: So, um, you came around on a, at the perfect time with just getting started.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I mean, the highlight of today, um, at one point it was, uh, Adam Peters and Dan Collins pressure in their comments to watch Terry at one point we was going to know that, uh, Terry had reported or he didn't report.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: So that would have been the news of the day anyway.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but now we know that Terry is not holding in.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: at training camp.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: He is indeed starting training camp holding out.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think this was out of the realms of possibility.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that this was something that as time moved on and as things evolved, I think people have come to terms of what could be with Terry in terms of places that he can take this.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: But now we know for sure, he's not starting camp in Washington on the field or present anywhere near the facility.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: AJ, I noticed probably didn't surprise you, but lean it to kind of, you know,
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to take things.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where you're going to take it.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: So let the people, let the people know where you're at with Terry and his situation as we kind of gear up for training camp, which starts tomorrow.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so the rookies came in last week, Thursday and tomorrow, the full team would be practicing together tomorrow.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I think I've been pretty vocal on here on
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: my pain and regards to Terry McClellan.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm getting a bit agitated having to keep talking about him.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_03]: Because like these type of situations are built for guys that are at lead players.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like since the new CBA in, in, in, in, in the, the four guys that have held out have been Chris Jones.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: Zach Martin.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_03]: Trent Williams.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean Nick Bosa held out, but he wasn't held accountable to the fines due to it being a fifth year option.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: But the other guy, Hassan Retic, whist was last year, what's you seeing that he did not recruit his money.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: He did not live up to any expectations because he ended up missing games as well.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: Not only just the training camp period, so it's like when Terry puts himself in a situation and especially not doing a hold in.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, bro, you're not even good enough for us to keep having these type of conversations, bro.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: But I get it.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I get it from a fan standpoint.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_03]: I get it from how he laid out everything last week with the presser.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't have a show last week.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: So we didn't get to talk about it publicly.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: But last week, in my opinion, what he did at the Eastern Motors commercial was uncharacteristic.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_03]: It was sad.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it was pathetic in my opinion.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: Because like, that's not the platform
- 7:56[SPEAKER_03]: of the commercials, that's not how those commercials work.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you might as well, you got the four still, but you might as well stop there and kind of explain to the people, like how those platforms usually work.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Some people may not understand, like, where you're coming from, because when you use pathetic, that's kind of like,
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's like a city experiment, but like what do you mean when you say like a platform like Eastern Motors or a commercial shoot in which he was made available for what was supposed to be what ten ten minutes max end of being thirty minutes.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: So explain what you mean as a person who is familiar with that space.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so I mean, like when you're doing a commercial for an endorser, whether that be a major entity or a local business like an Eastern Motors, you're traditionally just doing the commercial.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: And if anything, if there's anything press related, their public system conjunction with your public system work together and keep the very limited to making company statements and reference to the brand that you're doing this commercial for.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_03]: those that watch the interview and watch the process.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_03]: Terry had on no Eastern Motors gear in the thirty two minutes plus that he spoke.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't mention Eastern Motors, their motto, their branding, their nothing.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_03]: So that automatically told me that this was a play from his agent side and him to pretty much like put the onus on the ownership group and make you guys the fans that love him.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_03]: and have so much admiration for him over the years, feel like it's not him that's holding it up.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_03]: It is more so the ownership group and the personnel department.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Even some people that I talked to that was there, just the layout of the press released that was even given to them.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's why they even felt inclined to go to a little Maryland to go and be present because typically local media and be reporters wouldn't be on site at those commercial suits, but they knew because it was pushed out from his side.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: that they would have full access to him in this regard, which let's see.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: It was, it was a, it was thirty minutes plus that's not how those things go.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: And I just feel like Terry has always been a role that he's very expressive in his words.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_03]: He knows how to talk to the media.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: And I just felt like the reason why I was pathetic in my eyes was like, you don't need to explain what you've accomplished in Washington.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: Like we've seen it.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_03]: We know what you, what you do.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: The reality is they value you, but they don't value you at where you value yourself.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: and just because there is money to spend doesn't mean that it needs to be spent.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_03]: You know, there's so many different dynamics for a team.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_03]: You could express, I'd never been injured.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I've given my all, I've been the front, front guy for this team.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: All these different things, morale, culture, leader, team leader, blah, blah, blah, all those things.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: It sounded good, but from an analytic standpoint, a guy
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: dirty plus that isn't even a lead guy.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's not something that you want to bank on and pay them a premium dollar money.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like you don't want to be the first team to do that.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like it's kind of like fully guaranteed a contract on a quarterback like the Browns did that with the Sean Watson, you know, they were the first team to really do that.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_03]: and look where that put them.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: So it was like, it's kind of hard, in that sense.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you could disagree with me calling the pathetic.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: But when you're about to cry, because you didn't get the contract that you wanted thus far, that's just like, it's no need for that.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_03]: There was no need for that presser because it didn't help the situation.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Austin said, wasn't even thinking about that.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, it just more so gave us and fans something to talk about, but it didn't help.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: And now heading into this where you also were asked whether you plan on knowing when it's time for training camp saying you don't know is exactly the reason why he's in the situation now is because he thought so highly of himself.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: of being a Washington commander and what he's meant to the same, what he's meant to the community and to the locker room, that he felt guaranteed that he would be paid like the DK Metcalfs in that room, but in actuality, every team has a different value of you.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_03]: So what you, what you may be as a value to Washington is different than what you might
- 12:45[SPEAKER_03]: Be to the New England Patriots and then be willing to pay more for that because of the things that you've done off the field and within the locker room before this particular team.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: They have a lot of leaders over on the added another one.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: They added another one a couple of days ago in Vaughn Miller.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's a great locker room.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let me get it.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let me get it right here.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: So Benz and AJ made a point like several several minutes ago.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: But Benz made a point too.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I think I think Tim and John, I think it's important to kind of hear the angle as opposed to attacking the statement.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: As I correctly if I'm wrong, I don't even think you called Terry pathetic.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: You said what he did was pathetic.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: So, Tim, I don't even, I don't even, I think your reaction to the word.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I actually asked you to clarify a lot like when people hear pathetic, they won't.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: They're not even going here anything else.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: But you're talking about the actual act and itself and the setups.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for, for Terry,
- 13:53[SPEAKER_02]: When you look at kind of the going on the offensive part, right?
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's what the press conference was last week.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: He won't have offensive.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: And one of my main things when I heard it and I think everybody when they heard is like, we ain't talking a month.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, well, there could be certain scenarios.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I said this a lot like they could have been taking this whole time up to think about offers in contract or offers in terms and stuff like that that they can prepare to you and begin negotiations closer to when camp starts like they just cause they haven't talked to you to them.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: Don't mean that they are not that they're done talking to you.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that was kind of a misleading
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: And flammatory, but misleading kind of a comment to make.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: And I think what's dangerous about it is knowing that like Terry, when training camp comes back around, do you honestly genuinely in your heart think that they're never going to talk to you again?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to talk to you again, contract negotiations will resume again.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: But like this month period, like you was an old vacation too.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: You was in Italy.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they could have been somewhere, everybody could have been my own business.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I think from that specific aspect, I think going on offensive isn't attempt to force the team's hand.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it necessarily worked.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: But I also think when you look at Terry
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like, for anybody who watches Trapper Diver Listens who was weekly and or just consistently, first of all, we appreciate you.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: But secondly, my ankle has always been like Washington knows the value that Terry brings to the team to the community.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: He is a heartbeat for the team, right?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: Adam Peters and his statement said such a thing when they asked him about Terry, right?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like he knew it before.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: He came to Washington and he witnessed it in real time in twenty twenty four.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: The impact that Terry has made to this team.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: He said on several occasions that he wants Terry to be a commander.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: He said it today.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: He said it in March or April whenever he did the Kate Adams.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Adam, so whatever it is, I do want to show one day, so I can't I believe or something.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: But like he has reiterated several times that Terry is supposed to be or they want Terry to be a commander.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for for his team, Terry scene, meaning him and his agent and whatever else influencers that he has to kind of, you know, make a decision to this nature to to hold out.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: Is this a continuation of like trying to force the commander's hand and use whatever leverage he has to hope they get an extension or hope they get some contract that makes it worth their while.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what exactly he's asking for, AJ and everybody in the chat.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea what he's asking for.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the thing like nobody knows and nobody knows what Washington has offered.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: There has been reports so far.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: that the two sides aren't close.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: But we don't know exactly what he's being offered.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: But at the end of the day, like one of the biggest things that you have to keep in mind is something that you said at the very beginning of AJ, and I wholeheartedly agree with this.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Holdouts like this do occur.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: But typically when you have holdouts of this nature,
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: You have production that is by far and undoubtedly something that you cannot have without statistically had without the following season or the upcoming season.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: And statistically, Terry and every single season that he's had to date
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: has not warranted a conversation, that suggests he is a Jamara Chase.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: He is a Jay Jettles.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Debo Hill at one point, but I think he can held out after the fifteen hundred yards season that he had.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: And other teams other other players y'all think of him.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about robbery versus specifically there's other players to age a name someone a defensive side of the boat.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: But like there's other receivers that has held out over the years, but their production was so far better than what Terry is holding out the spite what he feels like his worth is to the team, which is his worth is a hundred percent true.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: But Mike, we're talking about the business side here and that's kind of where I think the problem lies in the disconnect.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: Especially from a fan base standpoint understanding, you know, of course, people love Terry, but then you look at like, think about Cam curve, but just put it that way.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying, Terry is Cam.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: at all, I have what, I, I wholeitarian way higher regard, but think about how much people were willing to pay came last year to keep them on the team.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: In reality, he had like a one year deal for however much money he got.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's like six, six million.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: And people were willing to pay him, twelve, thirteen million.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's all I'm saying.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just think about it like that.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: People's idea of what their value is sometimes because they are a Washington commander or Washington football team player and their value for Washington was one thing.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: You go out to the market and you see that it wasn't exactly that outside of Washington.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_03]: And I think like
- 20:15[SPEAKER_03]: What Terry also has to understand.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_03]: He said that they hadn't spoke to him since really made.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what led him to being absent at many camp and a portion of the OTAs.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_03]: And if that's true, you know, sometimes you got to take that like no answer is the answer.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_03]: And even if they updated you and had conversations with you within the last week since your presser,
- 20:40[SPEAKER_03]: All Adam Peters is doing this planning negotiation game because the longer that we draw this out and we don't give you extension the only person heard in here is you You've only because now if you're not doing a hold in you're gonna miss fifty k each day Then on top of that you start missing preseason games that's eight hundred thousand plus per preseason game and It's closer to regular season.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: No one's necessarily gonna want to trade for you and pay you
- 21:09[SPEAKER_03]: probably the number that you do want because it's about to be week one.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like you're now forced to play for us.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: And the max that we'll do for you is guarantee you this year, the final year on your contract because it's not guaranteed right now.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_03]: And we could also make a deal to where we won't, we won't franchise tag you next year.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_03]: And you'll enter free agency heading into being thirty one years old.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: So that's where it's up to Terry to understand that this fraying on get done the way that he for season getting done.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: He's either going to have to agree to their terms or request the trade.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: Or play the play the game of getting guaranteed this final year and interim free agency next year, which is not favorable in my opinion to him because I believe that his production is going to drop like the season that he had last year, I don't see him getting
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: eleven hundred yards and thirteen touchdowns ever we think it's production is going to drop going and what when it's going to be as far as those numbers I don't think that he's going to eclipse any of those numbers
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you can still be productive, but I don't think he's going to, I don't think he's going to eclipse those numbers.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think that it'd be smart enough to bet on himself.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_03]: But it's just interesting how all this is playing out.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_03]: I would have preferred if Terry were going to like set a, a, a tone doing a hold in of whatever reasons decide to do an actual hold out and get fine.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_03]: who, but Watson is in no rush to get that done, because all the leverages in their hands until Terry puts his foot down and says, I want to be traded.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm pretty sure there's some teams out there that would pay him probably thirty five.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_03]: And, but that doesn't mean that he's worth thirty-five to Washington.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: That's what he's worth to other teams due to their circumstances.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: So, it's just what matters to you the most.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the money and being value where you believe you should be financially?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: Or is it the opportunity to play for an organization that truly loves you as the fans have shown?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_03]: They love you out this world.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_03]: They thank you Randy Moss.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: I do think, um, I just wanted to read.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: So let's, let's kind of, let's kind of close to close the lid on this one right quick and get to some other topics, but I, I will close or my side.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I do think Terry Finnehoup this year.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: I am a firm believer of, like,
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: What I've seen from Terry so far this, like throughout his career, is the fact that, you know, he has consistently been himself every single year and like incrementally gotten better in certain aspects of his game from year to year.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think from an age standpoint, contractually in business wise can probably be heard of.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but I think he spoke nothing but facts when he talked about like he doesn't have a lot of mileage like his age is one thing, but he doesn't have a lot of mileage on them.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like the wearing tear is there and like he's shown how healthy he can he can remain throughout the course of the season.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and I think that bold will for a person who is turning thirty and NFL and and let's kind of like make a big point here.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: Ferti is not, oh, like point blank period, thirty is not old.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I get it.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's a red flag in the NFL, but at the end of the day, we're talking about a player who has a unique circumstance compared to other players who are thirty, like for example, uh, B's on Robinson came into the league at twenty or twenty one.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like when he hits thirty, that's different.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Right, because like, these are these hours in his third year.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: And he's only twenty three.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: No, there's twenty three, twenty four years.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Brad, like any year, twenty five, twenty six year, Brad, like he's going to be in a leaf for a long time.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like the mileage is one thing.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing with if we want to keep that the Robbsey position, my lead neighbor's came in at twenty one.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: That is somebody who's going to have a lot of knowledge on them when he gets to thirty years old.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's kind of the context that people got to remember with him.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: And here's one thing that I will say as well from a contract standpoint, I even after everything that I said and just kind of understand in Terry's situation and how I felt he moved.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: And also like how I feel like he views himself versus how maybe the team could view them.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: I still think a deal gets them.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: I've said since April or May that this thing can go up until the first week of the season like that by that by after week three of the preseason and then week one of the regular season.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think it can go that far.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe my alarm factor has not really shot through the roof yet for that reason.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: But I think there's still plenty of time left.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: But I really do think that
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's I'm going to see me watching and theories in the situation.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_02]: What do you have plenty of time to talk?
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think a trade is going to get right.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: Well done.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: What makes you so optimistic though, like, like, like, because I, because this is not anything that normal is still going to get done possibly.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: like what makes you guys optimistic?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: This is not an abnormal out of any other situation.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: This has been a traditional set or a traditional or common scene or frequent frequent occurrence in terms of contract negotiations.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_02]: People who have had put their stances out there.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for Terry, like his film has made me hurt a little bit.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: But at the end of the day, I think both sides are very clear and that they want to be with each other.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I think up until today, Adam Peters hasn't bullshit the people.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: He may have not, he may have been a person who has
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: been very brief in how he talks, right?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: And very, I'm the miss, I'm the miss.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: I may have used that word when I don't know somebody, somebody fact check me, but like very mysterious and like his intentions through the media.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: But one thing he has made clear is that he wants Terry to be a commander.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I think from actions up into actions as well as fillings on both sides as well as precedence.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: This is a situation that can get ugly, but it's not out of, it's not, they're not even in the red yet.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: They are still good in terms of relationship and all these things.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's been standard.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: It looks ugly, but like it's standard, but there's going to be conversations that can turn things around.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's how it feels.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_03]: for me, I guess before we pivot off to the next topic, it's really not a complicated contract to get done.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_03]: So that's where I just even though like organization is saying we value him, but at some point they don't value him over a certain amount.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I just hope that it comes to some type of resolve here soon.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: I hope they either Terry takes a stand or Washington takes a stand and just move forward because at this rate,
- 29:00[SPEAKER_03]: holding out like literally not being present is is is now becoming a distraction because it's going to be as I really but but on top of that is just like him holding out tells you that there's nowhere close even with the new like information and conversation has happened in the last week yes things can change but there's nowhere close because if they were close he would have done a hold in
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: like so that that's the time for the body.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: And like I said, I just hope that Terry just makes the best decision for himself.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think he needs to see.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think he needs to ask for permission and see what else is out there.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_03]: What teams are interested in him?
- 29:46[SPEAKER_03]: What they be willing to pay him?
- 29:48[SPEAKER_03]: And also what that situation may look like.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then being able to come back to the table to Washington and either saying to Massachusetts numbers or hey, maybe Washington provides me the best opportunity to get paid.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe not what I want, but to play with the best quarterback out there because the reality is the fan base got to get adjusted to the fact that the new face of the franchise and the superstar of this team is Jayden Danes.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: It is no longer Terry McClellan.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's Jayden and Terry.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a hand, but we know who's number one.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he is a superstar.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, if answer, what's about that?
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's made me forget my point.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot what I was saying.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want Terry before and back.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_03]: So hey.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: I must be.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: Terry, I can care less.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: What does do say?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, well, I don't know.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: That is ain't talking to Mike and he showed up.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, for sure.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: And, oh, that's what I was going to say.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: Man, just because you started to hold in.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I hold out.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't mean, that doesn't mean like Terry's not going to come back to the, like, I don't, I don't know, like how far he's, I really don't know how far he's willing to take the hold out.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: But I, I genuinely don't think it's going to take.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: But he's not going to be out here for a whole fucking two weeks, not coming back to camp.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: He's probably going to just do this to make a statement as well I believe.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't buy, I don't take
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: Flat out, I don't take Terry series.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't take Terry series.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's coming back within a day or two, but a couple days or not a week.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: I really, I really do think he's coming back.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: I just think he's making a statement right now.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_02]: My Miller.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_02]: Since we was going to AJ, my Miller signed a Washington.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: One of the things he said in his interview with the commanders.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Lord, what is his name?
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: To do that.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Byron, Brian, Brian Colbert.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Brian Colbert.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: He said,
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: Washington, or when he left Josh Allen, he was like, yeah, this is just, he's like, I'm not about to leave there Josh Allen in the Buffalo and just do whatever.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he needs to make sure he goes through a team that has a chance to legitimately win a championship.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if that's what he said verbatim, but that's the kind of the ballpark thing that he said.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: Vomers here in Washington, you get some edge help.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think at this point we kind of know what Vomers is, but I also think that his production within a limited snap count can prove pretty valuable to Washington when the game's count.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think that his experience and his scale set no matter like from his burst and agility standpoint, but from his technical skills that can help the younger guys in Brandon Coleman and Josh Connerley.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think that his value overall can help the front seven and even Joe with Jr.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: in terms of how they prepare or how they scheme and gain against opponents.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm interested.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: I made a joke to you like the old man finally made this decision.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know like what he'll bring.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think six sex just put the numbers out there.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think six sex.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: If you can get that
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: At the very least, and a few turnovers, you're talking about somebody who's in a good shape in terms of what he brings, what he brought to the team this year.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: But what do you think about my mother being added to this defense of front?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a piece that that's needed.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mentioned it on here.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_03]: I felt like they needed a guy that could win one on one.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_03]: bomb Miller even at his age.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he can still win one on one.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: He can also get off the ball very quickly.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, he didn't play like a bunch of snaps last year, but even in his limited snap County was still able to produce six acts.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_03]: If Dante Fowler could get ten and a half, Von Miller can get just about the same amount and maybe even bigger plays because Dante Fowler was a liability in the run game as well.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_03]: They played him a lot.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_03]: do to not be able to get to the quarterback in one-on-one situations, will it close them fair on stuff like this?
- 34:54[SPEAKER_03]: And this is Deeline.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: Death has improved from last year in the pieces that they brought in.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm impressed with Adam Peters and Dan Quinn keeping it a secret.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: They mentioned that they met with Vaughan several weeks ago.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_03]: And sat down and talked to him.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_03]: So this was something that just happened over the weekend.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_03]: Something that they realized that they still were missing from their team.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_03]: And felt like his presence on the field, but also within the locker room could be monumental in being a teacher.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_03]: a leader of the game.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_03]: We know that he does a past rest summit.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_03]: I've been able to attend one in the past.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen how bond interacts with guys.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen how close a lot of his teammates are with him.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_03]: How he's able to reach across the aisle.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: It'd be a vital piece to that D-line group to be able to teach the young guys.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_03]: different ways to get to the quarterback.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_03]: I have in a pass rush plan like a guy like Lou who right now Lou who just bowl rushes to the quarterback or spend more you know if you can if he can learn some hand techniques with my Miller that might help that might improve how quickly gets to the quarterback and you know just offsetting what the tackles might do.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think bond is also going to line up a lot against the right tackle.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, so that would also help a Josh Connolly junior there.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, in practice, getting those type of reps.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think, uh, Josh Connolly kind of struggles with guys that have that quick get off in the bend.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I think that'd be a good emphasis for him to be able to learn different techniques and different tips to not give away to the past rusher.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_03]: I just think it's a beneficial move.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you can't really lose.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, sign a guy.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's one of the defensive MVP before.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're talking about a Hall of Famer here.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_03]: You feel me like he's six acts away from from Lawrence Taylor.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's the only active player in the top twenty in sex in the NFL currently.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, he was a part of the same draft class as Ryan Carrigan.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_03]: But this is a guy that still has great get off great Ben and being able to use his hands.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_03]: to help him get to the quarterback and I think that's something that they lacked on this roster aside from Jacob Martin, who you wouldn't put in the same tear as Obama Miller even at his age.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm glad that they added another piece because they didn't do that necessarily in the draft as we thought when they were on the car.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: We were looking at a migraine, down in the Azaraku, and a couple other guys that didn't get one of those.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_03]: So to add on Miller before going in the training camp is huge.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I don't think there's any negatives from this.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think that those that are being detractors in their statements just had PTSD from the Snyder regime when there was the Bruce Meves and Dion Sanders and these big time names.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_03]: But as Adam Peters and Dave Quinn have showed you,
- 38:14[SPEAKER_03]: these older guys that they brought into the fold can still be contributors and yeah Bobby Wagner made all protein right Zach Erds put up six hundred plus yards.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_03]: I definitely didn't think Zach Erds was going to do what he was going to do.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_03]: I thought he was just going to be a red zone threat, but he ended up being a starting tight end.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I think don't don't sweep on.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think they'll be able to get ten, ten sex this year.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe even more, depending on how well they could cover on the back end.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: Um, another thing just quickly added.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_03]: He also, when he's on the field, uh, as a specialist, he also allows the Ron Payne, Ken Law, or Newton, and whoever else is going to be playing to get those one-on-one matchups because he still isn't that getting off the ball.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, it'd be interesting, but I definitely see this as a productive move.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_03]: There's no negatives in making a commitment of one year or six minutes.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_03]: And if he has those incentives, he produces on the field to get to him.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, Kim?
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: As if I'm going to camp.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: I planned on going to camp.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: The day that I had a ticket was for that Saturday one, August second.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: But I got a flag football tournament.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going that that just so happened to be that weekend.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know if I'm going anymore.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: I may have to get that ticket away.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we will see if I'm going to camp.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, just give me you that day.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: I still remember to picture everything.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, I don't know if I'm going anymore.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's crazy that they limited to practice, like public wise, they only got three three practices and then the other the extra two that's available to the season ticket holder.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it is what it is.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I think I was going to add though as a, uh, you mentioned age, um, a couple of times.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: And like, I think was crazy and even, I think it was Dan, or a, a, Dan or AP, um, they, they kind of acknowledge the age factor, right?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, not with violence specifically, but with the team.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see, there's, it's a, it's a given occurs.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: I can see why adding these older players, right?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: Bond being obviously the oldest, but I can see adding these older players to the roster and why it makes sense for Washington right now because you need an influx of talent that is one.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: very experienced but very good and plays at a high level at one point in their career or like obviously still doing it right now and in majority of the players who they got in that a little bit older are playing at a high level of the career to this day.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_02]: Right, it hasn't, hasn't waned off.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about Marshawn.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about Laramie Tonsu, obviously Vaughn Miller.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: Zach Urch's a way for the little bit, but, you know, he has an injury that he was dealing with, but he came here last year and was a super, super clutch for Jayden and useful for obviously Kurt.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, what did I just say?
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Cliff.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, wait.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think for for the older veterans on this team, it's important to note like I mean this like I mean people may front of a more social media but like when you're talking about experience and in the ability to quickly make a quickly provide production at certain positions that Washington needs it or Washington needs right offensive line help pass rush setting edges right
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and obviously being available as a third down guy, a third down converter.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and and things of that nature.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: Debo, twenty nine years old, I don't even know how I missed him with Debo, like I said, I said, um, earlier this year, like I didn't see no drop off.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: from Debo last year.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think what hurt Debo is just the fact that, you know, one is a bad narrative around them.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: So like nobody really values what he's doing.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: But then second, you dealt with a thousand different quarterbacks last year.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: And injuries like that, a thousand different injuries to the team.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you know, what you can provide and injuries, I think with yourself to some extent, if I'm not mistaken.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: But like your value when fully healthy kind of gets swept under root.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is the perfect year and even next year too.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_02]: So like mean in the first three years of AP and Jayden Daniels and Dan Quinn, like best a perfect opportunity for you to infuse and how do I forget Bobby Wagner?
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like saying fuse these older veterans on this team as they transition
- 43:21[SPEAKER_02]: To the younger guys, being able to carry the team and Jaden Daniels as he gets ready to get his new contract.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: But you got to take advantage of these moments now.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: You got to find people who can stabilize the roster, stabilize the rocket flock of room and show these younger guys what leadership.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_02]: production in the right way to do things what it looks like on this roster and I think adding a guy like my mother as you alluded to and how you expressed it as a there should be no reason why people are scared to add a person of that age let up and also think about how old this team is it's a perfect time and opportunity for Washington to be this old collectively on paper yeah and I think when you even break down the roster
- 44:10[SPEAKER_03]: And in each position group, there is a veteran presence there.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_03]: You know, in the past with the Ron Rivera regime, you didn't necessarily have that.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_03]: So guys were just learning on the fly.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where you have like a Terry McClure fill in a certain way that he's felt because he's been that that staple.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: But when you look in the quarterback room, you got Josh Johnson, Marcus Marioda running back room.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_03]: You got Austin Eckler.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_03]: office line, you have learned me tonsil, you have Andrew Wiley, that's there.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: Defensive line, you now have a Ken law, Doris Armstrong, the Ron Payne, Bond Miller, even a club in Pharaoh, you could say it.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_03]: Dietrich Wise, Dietrich Wise is thirty years old.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: Jacob Martin, these are guys that's been around the league, linebacker, you have a Bobby Wagner to help aloof you along the process.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_03]: a lot of Louvus progression as a player came from being in that same space with a Bobby Wagner.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_03]: In the back in the back end, you have a Marcia on a lot of more.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: That's probably it, but yeah, you have a more sound ladder more.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: I do think the safety position is a weakness of this team and hopefully they bring in a veteran that's out there.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see that something that I think I'll be paying the close attention to is Will Harris.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, you pretty must have leadership in every position group, amongst the team in the way that they built that locker room.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's not for guys to necessarily just be with your position group, but to cross-house.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_03]: You see Mike Sandestrill hanging out with Debo Samuel, you know, outside of the field, doing community things together, building that rapport with one another.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_03]: Bobby Wagner, Jaden Daniels.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: You just see a bunch of guys crossing out because the way the football team is normally constructed, guys really just stick with the net position groups, but what they've done a good job of is getting all of these different personalities to mess with each other, no matter what position group that they're part of.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_03]: And I think the addition of a bon Miller just adds to that culture even more.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: This is a guy.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_03]: even in the interview that I seen.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: He said not to boast and brag about myself, but he says, I'm one of the best guys in the locker room ever.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and I've heard that from so many other people, I've seen it myself.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like I have a personal story.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: A client of mine we hosted his draft in Denver.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_03]: He's not even from there.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_03]: And we happened to run into bond after his selection with the team and the first round.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_03]: Vaughan invited us back to his crib, like the whole family, not even just the client, myself, like the whole family, like has Chef Cook, like he DJ taught, like taught him different nuances, like past restaurants wise, all these different things, just as a stranger, he just met, you know, but he was so excited for him being, you know, a new guy coming into the league.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I've seen it, I've heard it.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: been around eight several times.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_03]: So I just know that this is a great guy.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_03]: And you need those type of guys.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_03]: Like I feel like he can help the Lou Vu's of the world, the Gene Baptiste.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: Even Jordan McGee, a lot of us forget that Jordan McGee was getting some reps at DN last year with Jamie Davis before the injury took place.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know what their plan is.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what their plan is with Jordan McGee, but
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: He definitely, he definitely placed him past us opportunities within training camp in precies.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_03]: And so, yeah, I just think that it's a great move.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody should be able to complain about it.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's one of the benefits of having a GM.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_03]: You know, a lot of people say the motto is, let AP cook.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_03]: You know, they realize going into this training camp and what they want for the rest of the roster that they still need a more that position.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_03]: Even though it's one of the positions that they added to the most in the offseason, they still felt like they needed more.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the beauty of having a GM that and a head coach that recognized like, hey, we need more at certainly spots.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: Who do you think defense this is?
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: Is it Adam?
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be sorry.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: Dan Quinn or Joe with juniors.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like who's defense this?
- 48:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's Joe with juniors in conjunction with Dan Quinn.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_03]: But if things don't start to shape up, right?
- 48:50[SPEAKER_03]: Dan Quinn gonna take that thing back over.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm in the same boat as you.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't mention the last part that you say, but I think is Joe with Junior's defense and conjunction with Dan Quinn.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: I just think like,
- 49:04[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of years and time that Whit has spent with Dan, like of course, his influence, Dan's influence is going to be all over how Joe Whit constructs philosophically and schematically his defense.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it's a reason why he's stuck around for so long, like they clearly agree on several things in terms of how a defense should be played.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason why I bring that up is because I posed a question on Hogshaven, I wrote an article about it.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: But like, does Joe Witt have enough pieces in year two to see me to put his stamp on this defense?
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: And while I didn't directly answer the question myself, I laid out everything from last year, up until this year.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think from a statistical standpoint, you look at the defense last year, top-fifteen overall, I think top-fifteen at points and top-fifteen in, no, I think top-fifteen, I think there were eight-fifteen points and like, thirteen fingers or something like that.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: But you look at the numbers in the south.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't get any sex, barely any sex in the fourth quarter.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_02]: They barely forced and he turned over to their bottom twills.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: They gave up a lot of explosives in the past game.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, and then they were just, like, drippily terrible against the run, like, no offense of butts about it.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: There was only two games, AJ last year, where they held opponents under ninety yards.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: In twenty games, they only held opponents under ninety yards twice.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody else had ninety five and up.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: The Philadelphia Eagles had two hundred yard games, three times that they played them.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I think they gave up two hundred yards.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_02]: You know what's so funny about this?
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think they gave up two hundred yards on the ground.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: Five times, I think.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: And they were three and two.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: Their record was three and two.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's how crazy of a season it was for them defensively.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just from a team standpoint that you can give up two hundred yards on the ground and still win these football games.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: But overall,
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you look at kind of the set kind of sum up everything.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to go through the whole article, but you can't read it on all saving.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: But if you, like, understand the help that they brought in from the front, seven standpoint, right?
- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: We just talked about a few of them.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then obviously, from the second secondary, Marshall on this coming back, he's fully healthy now.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: You get Jonathan Jones and Tray Amos.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: You bring in Will, Will Harris.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: like the mixture from the first level to the second level to the third level.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan McGee's coming back in terms of a health standpoint.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: You hope that he is fully healthy and he can stay on the field.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: Which if he is, you know, it provides more flexibility in terms of your personnel packages that you can bring out there.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like you would hope that Dan Quinn and more importantly, Joe with Junior is in a situation where they can
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: not have to think about, you know, we can't get off the field.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: They're a gashiness.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: Every single game.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_02]: How do we stop this or how do we give our office a chance because we can't get off the field.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: Let alone we can't close games.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: Whether it's to be a those four downs, those game changing sex or forcing turnovers.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about Joe with going into his second year with the commanders?
- 52:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it was obvious the emphasis on what they wanted to do in this all season was bulk up their difference of line.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_03]: I get some guys that could help play the run.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Adam Peters believes have a lead in the bond.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_03]: Can law being able to play some dns and detackle.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_03]: Add it into the fact that you bring back a Johnny new in who's going to be able to get a full training camp and a full off season in.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: Do the him having an injury last year.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_03]: along with adding an Eddie Goldman, bringing the club in Pharaoh back, called, called Davis, Dietrich Wise, and to the mix, like I said, Jacob Martin, Von Miller, a lot of times we look at the numbers that Dante Fowler brought to the table as far as that production, but when you watch the film, he also was a major liability in the run game.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_03]: and teams were attacking his side.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_03]: He couldn't get off blocks or he wouldn't stay within his integrity of the scheme.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: And he would leave lanes wide open.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that one Eagles game at home against Washington, that big cyclone, Berkeley run, that that was on him.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_03]: You know, so it's like their emphasis is definitely to stop the run, but at the same token when they get into those starting loans.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully, having those guys like a Jacob Martin Louisville v. Miller and being able to use them in versatile ways as Dan Quinn used to do with with the cowboys helping to get to the quarterback and maybe increasing the opportunities and interceptions strip sacks.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_03]: uh, being able to close out those games.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that Joe with Junior has more pieces to work with as far as the front line and also the linebackers.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_03]: Secondary wise, is what are you going to get out of trade?
- 54:43[SPEAKER_03]: Amos, what are you getting out of Mikey's sense, real?
- 54:46[SPEAKER_03]: What are you getting out of March on a ladder more?
- 54:48[SPEAKER_03]: And also, what are you getting out of Will Harris?
- 54:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't, that's not a guy that I know a bunch about.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_03]: I've tried to do some studies.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_03]: Wasn't necessarily impressed.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I still think that there might be a veteran out there, just like Von Miller just made his decision because of the quarterback and the opportunity that the team has of competing for a championship.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: There's there's some veterans out there that safety positions such as adjusting Simmons that is looking around the league and trying to decide, hey, could this work?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: Because that's someone that fits within that mode.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to give Will Harris a fair opportunity to see if he can make a name there.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_03]: think it came uh... madrano is gonna get opportunity to play in the big nickel in some essence because of his cover skills can't tackle for shit but yeah uh... you know he could be a coverage piece there uh... but then as i continue with the back end i mean his safety is Tyler Owens person butler and Jeremy Reeves yeah and then quote martin is it's gonna be playing coming off of double soldier surgery so
- 55:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a bit tricky.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's one of my main things that I'm going to be watching for in training camp overall.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_03]: But I feel like Joe with Junior has more pieces to work with this year and truly get to his scheme and how he truly wants to call things versus having to be so aggressive last year and being able to flip the field.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_03]: So it'll be intriguing.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_03]: But I definitely think it's a better defense on paper than what it was last year.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely on paper, um, you know, that the process turned over wasn't going to stop after, you know, one year, right?
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think this was going to be a situation where you know is going to take a couple of years on both sides of the ball that get things, um, going in and that's kind of side of frustrating thing.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I think it's more of a
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: You got to be real precise on who you bring in to turn the unit around.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: They've made these decisions and bring it in.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_02]: Marsha on Latin where they traded for him.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_02]: Will Harris, they let Jeremy Chen go.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: They said we can bring in Will Harris.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: We think that he's better.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_02]: and better in a sense of that he does what we want out of that safety position better than what Jeremy Chen did for his even though Jeremy Chen was very productive.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: We like what
- 57:33[SPEAKER_02]: regardless of how he did in New York, we like what Javan can law brains to the table, right?
- 57:41[SPEAKER_02]: Regardless of what it's perception is, I'm not necessarily New York, but generally speaking, what it's perception is because we know him and we're gonna bake on him and we're gonna give him a three year deal because we know what he can prepare to us.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I hope that they keep him on the outside.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he can work well as a one tick.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: But if you keep him on the tackle and outside of the tackle, that man can truly dominate, seventy percent of his snaps.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's a headache.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see what's the average and we get there.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then all the other pieces that they added on the defensive line, you got it.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's real.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: You got to be real precise with who you bring in the further you move along.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, you're after some guys.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned Madonna at linebacker and then obviously, Trey Amos, who some people view is going to be a week one starter.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think for Joe Witt, when you look at his year two, you have to have tangible improvement in the run game.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_02]: not incremental, like it needs to be drastic improvement because you were that bad last year.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't look at how, think about it like this.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_02]: There are first few games of the season.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to get some dollars.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to pull up their schedule right quick.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: Let me pull up their schedule right quick because I got their backs.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_02]: So Green Bay Jacobs, the Raiders, uh, Gentie, the Falcons, um, these on the Chargers, you got a Mario on Hampton, they just signed cause, um, today, um, Naji, uh,
- 59:47[SPEAKER_02]: to do nine hines and then obviously, uh, to do from uh, to still as nausea hairs like they got to rerun it back.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to focus on Chicago Bears.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care too much for the injury.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: Swift, but he went off on them last year.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: It was really a fifty yard run that broken off, but still I'm put him in there.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then you got the Kansas City seats after that or in a couple weeks and then you got the Detroit Lions.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_02]: In a couple of weeks, like your first nine or ten games, you got some dog, ass, running bags, and offensive lines that you're going up against.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like if you cannot tangibly improve against the run,
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_02]: And your first half of the season before you get to the by week, Joe, it's going to be a long season.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's kind of the thing where I look at his year two.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody adds to the check.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: King Ralph, do you think it's a a scheme or talent thing though?
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's always a mix.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_02]: Talent wise last year, you were working behind the eighth bowl.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_02]: But like the turnover again, like I said, it's not going to take a year.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's not going to take two years.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to take more time.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: But at the end of the day, I think AJ, you kind of alluded to it, and I agree with that.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yo, if you aren't getting better, you probably gonna see more influence from day and queen.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's a business at the end of the day.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how many more?
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like, this is, if this is Jim has a situation where that dude stuck around for X amount of years, or, um, who was the Joe Barry?
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's the ground with J. J. J. J.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_02]: Joe, they're real, we're very, we're like around like if this is a situation where you like you just ripping your hair out because and then they're not getting better defensively and you're stuck with Joe with like that is a problem and you don't want that situation here.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_02]: So yes, I do think you need to have tangible improvement in like some of the more problematic areas that Washington had defensively.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and the first ten weeks is going to expose it.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you against like I said, the running backs and office line is going to expose it.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: So you better be ready out the gate.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_02]: Period.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's how I view Joe with situation in here too.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, man.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_03]: Be interesting to see, man, but I, I think.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_03]: I trust from what I could see from Joe with Junior last year.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_03]: He was willing to adapt.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_03]: He was willing to adjust.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_03]: And a lot of coaches don't do that.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of coaches just stick with their scheme.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_03]: He was willing to try different things.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_03]: The main thing, man, you just need guys to stay healthy, man.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's the key thing.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_03]: And that's something that I wish for all the guys across the NFL, not even just the team that we talk about, just wish health.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_03]: But that's the main thing.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_03]: Guy's staying healthy, man, because all it could do is just mess up everything else.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_03]: So you just hope that these guys stay healthy for the most part.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: And the answer I do want to mention like, like, Joe with did a decent job.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: Some out in my opinion, some people thought that he was terrible.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't agree with that.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_02]: And AJ just alluded to it.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_02]: He made adjustments like the secondary point like a lot of their explosive plays, major, I wouldn't say majority.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_02]: But a lot of their explosive plays that they gave up came in like the first four or five games of the season.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_02]: and things changed.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: I remember the week that he talked about what changed defensively and he talked about the communication improvement and how he challenged their guys.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like I remember everything that he said, he stood on a hill far away from the field and he said, if he didn't hear communication, that was a problem.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like he heard people talking and he was like a hundred yards, I'm slicing it.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_02]: But he was fifty plus yards away and he's like if he didn't hear them talking defensively, that was a problem.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that is a pretty impressive from Joe with his like he is a adaptive and he's adaptive in game too.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, we can kind of leave that there.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_02]: What else would you talk about?
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_02]: Can't battles do we got position groups that we that were focused on?
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_02]: I know you mentioned one when we're talking about the defense with like.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it comes to mind.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, for me, when it comes down to camp battles, it's a safety position.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's who's going to be playing opposite the Quam Martin.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's also seeing if Marshall on Latamore stays pretty healthy throughout the process and how he looks.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think, you know, with the absence now, Terry McClellan.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's seeing how a Jalen Lane, you know, takes advantage of these opportunities, KJ Osbourne.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_03]: Luke McAfrey you know how how these other guys step up the Michael Gallagher.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think we don't talk about him enough because of him being a former cowboy and walking away from the gang, but you know he's he's thirty.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_03]: It's crazy.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_03]: Missing the thirty thing.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thirty eight.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_03]: So when we'd be talking about, oh, you know, he made me feel like, oh, but yeah.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_03]: uh probably about a couple weeks ago.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_03]: I got a matchup against dudes September six for dudes some month.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know how it came about bro.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like one day I was just chilling and I got challenged to a basketball game from dudes like it.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like bro, we talked football.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_03]: Why are we?
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_03]: Why are we?
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but you can get cut.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_03]: You're filming like you can get.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I let me know where it's at.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I can so I can.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I told them where they need to be.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but they try switching to September.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_02]: And need to be a hoop session because I'm trying I'm trying to get on the court.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying I'm trying.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, more, more pissed, but I'll tell you more.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_02]: Here's where I was stuck with it.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_03]: I told them.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_03]: I told them traffic died could be.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_03]: They asked it a fill day that whole weekend if they wanted.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_03]: We could do football.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_03]: We could do basketball, whatever, but you know what I mean.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so that's that's just that's just one of my things.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to see who takes advantage of the opportunities with with Terry McClellan not being present and then you know what happens with that communicator on the back end and
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_03]: How does Quam Martin work in partnership with Will Harris?
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_03]: And do you need to possibly upgrade there?
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm not really feeling the death at the safety position currently, especially Noah Quam Martin had double shoulder surgery.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty scary.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, one thing that was lost when we were talking about Terry earlier, I'm glad that you resurfaced it was the privacy of position.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's a perfect opportunity for people, because again, we don't know, I have an assumption, but we really don't know how far Terry is willing to take it.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_02]: But the longer that take the, oh, that was clear that up.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_02]: So the longer that Terry holds out, the more opportunities other players get,
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned Lane.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think one of the more important people that comes to mind would be Luke McAfrey.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_02]: The second year I got it, they kept what they were comfortable with keeping around up until the draft point when it was just, but it was just Terry and Terry in Luke and then they obviously traded for Debo and made it three and then they built up after that.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_02]: But like they were that comfortable with Luke being around.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_02]: Like they haven't an opportunity these guys to really put their stamp on like their value to show clip that they can be trusted and elevate their role.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that's a great opportunity to figure out who's going to be, why receiver two or why receiver three or why receiver four depend on deterioration.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_02]: J.B.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_02]: Ms.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_02]: Indivo, you know, I think that's going to be an important storyline, too, because like there's so much conversation about, you know, who or what D.B.O.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_02]: is going into this year by the end of the day.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about a person who right now is the only receipt, like the only number one receiver on the roster that's actually at practice right now.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_02]: So what does that mean for these guys?
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_02]: With Ms.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_02]: Indivo Brown,
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_02]: I guess what?
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so yeah.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's kind of one of my bigger things.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and in terms of story lines though, I do want to see like with that right tackle.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_02]: Left guard situations going look like like how exactly is that battle going to be between Connally, Wiley.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and whoever they want to put it there to compete with a Coleman at left guard.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, obviously we know the right guard situation will be tricky because cause me's out.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so we're just out of gritty fit in, um, but at the same time, like that offensive line in terms of like the early stages, specifically Josh Connelly and Brandon Coleman at new positions.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see how they fare.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, shout out to Dan Quinn, though, he did say that he loves Brandon Coleman at at guard.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, we'll cross everything we get there.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like trying to camp those starting in a day or two.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, but, um, yeah, offensive line and why receiver for sure.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have to rehash defense.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think AJ did a good job.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's a deterioration theory isn't there.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's just number one.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think Earth is like your, I think Earth is like your number one converter of first downs.
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's a guy that's you trust to move sticks.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, man, Terry, that effect.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_02]: But for sure, I think that Earth is your, at least top three.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_02]: And he's probably top two with Dbo being number one.
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_02]: If Terry is a deer.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_02]: Equip maybe your number three.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_02]: Um, okay.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I think we're good in the comments.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_02]: What do you say if go making play true knows that we can run a three four.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's not going to be one of three four now with there.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how many like their four three their four three overs or things like that.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_02]: Things in that nature.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_02]: Before the under I don't know how it works.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I put it for us.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_02]: Schedule wise.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_02]: We are back next week at a weekly basis.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_02]: All thirty two is back next week as well.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be around for training camp.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be around for breaking news.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I think we're good on that.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_02]: AJ, any any any any last things any last thoughts comments?
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_03]: Former Washington Commanders.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_03]: Why was he retiring with Sloan has been traded to the Los Angeles Chargers.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_02]: Not by the end of so on.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_03]: But I mean, yeah, we back into the folk football is right around the corner man.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_03]: Training camp starts tomorrow for the commanders.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_03]: And like I said, man, just wish for a healthy season for all the guys around the NFL in general.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_03]: and look forward to what's the coming these battles.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_03]: And also these joint practices that they'll have with the Ravens and I think the other one is a Patriot.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_03]: Some really look forward to the Ravens match up.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, they're going to be good.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I think there'll be some good work that can be produced with these joint practices also.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_02]: Here it is.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_02]: Until next time, y'all catch up.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_02]: Catch our later, take it easy and say, what it's like.
