- 2:23[SPEAKER_05]: What up?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I feel no, you're good.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_04]: Good man, I mean, you know, other than watching the Sariah esteem and talking about him every week, I'm doing pretty damn good.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm starting to like, I'm trying it.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_04]: It is, but it is fun.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_04]: No, I mean, it's what we do.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_04]: Even though the Sariah is always something to talk about, like we could talk about what we want them to do in the future.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_04]: We want them to do progress in the season.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it just gets annoying after the losses, but it's still our team.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_04]: We talk about our team.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_05]: What's up, AJ?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, man.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, things that's an intriguing period, a lot of different conversations take place around the team.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: I guess tonight, my grievances, too much conversations being talked about with Jayden Dales versus other elements of the team.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, yeah, that's one of my main grievances.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm saying, well, wait, are you upset at the, I guess the rhetoric around Jayden right now, you know, people kind of write them off, maybe, is that what it is?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: I just say he shouldn't be discussed at all.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I just think that way, I mean, what do you mean I get, I get it, like he's the hit him and learn your time sword, only blue chip players on the same, but like really the conversation should be about the head coach, the the office coordinator, the head coach is now the DC and the general manager.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like how do you how do you turn this thing around when you only got like 35 players on roster for next year, like
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: How do you get this turn around going into year three if that's the crew that ends up still sticking around like that's what I think the conversation should be about more because even as Jayden was fully healthy the defense still would have been mediocre the offense wasn't able to you know what is exactly the exact issue that you have with the conversation like because you had you said he shouldn't be talking about it all but like what's the angle that bothers you when people bring up Jayden
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: was it's everything to talk about from him being fragile, to regression, to not seeing the field, to needing to get reps, to to everything under the sun that you could think about.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_05]: So we shouldn't talk about that at all.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think that should be the focus with the same at all, like, I think, I'm only, I'm only, I'm only, I'm only, I'm only, I'm only, I'm only a needleing in, in, in, trying to dissect exactly how you feel like AJ because, like, I feel like the conversation, the, the bigger conversation is actually to do with the roster and the coaching staff, like, I actually think like, that's, that's been like the biggest conversation.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and Jaden is a is like a defacto by product because he hasn't had the best year to right like you have no, especially as a first round second overall pick who can't stay healthy in his second year like you can't not talk about it, but like there is a bigger conversation and a bigger conversation doesn't have to do with Jaden.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: like the bigger conversation is the roster and the coaching staff and I think I think we know that but I'm saying from like the gist of a lot of what's going on sports talk radio, some of those individuals that have their own platform, those conversations that are taking place on Facebook, Instagram, X, whatever the case is, is primarily starting with Jayden Daniels like and I just feel like
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: There's two places on this team that you don't have questions at it, which is left tackle and quarterback.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: Outside of that, you got to question with everything else.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, even with the takedown of the world on the roster, you still got a question about that.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like, I just don't see the, why I get it because it's a quarterback, but at the end of the day, when it comes to this particular roster and this particular team that's been led by Dan Quinn,
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Jayden should even be top three of the mentions of what's going on.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you got two blue chip players, like I said, my name is Tonsu and Jayden Damels.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: Outside of that, you don't know what the fuck you got, rest with the remainder of this scene, honestly.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_04]: But AJ, and I get when you come from as far as I mean, because a ladder to talk around Jaden can kind of veer into the reckless territory when you start getting people started to say dumb shit like, oh, we should have drafted me what they want to play revision in this history.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_04]: But the fact that a matter is, Jaden's always going to be at the forefront of conversations when you talk about this
- 6:57[SPEAKER_04]: especially after a year that we've had and injuries that people have witnessed them see is just one of the and he just played last week like you know what I mean like man he if he didn't play last week maybe if he was shut down or he missed this week come back this week you wouldn't hear as much talk about jaded but the last thing you saw of jaded was fans getting at PTSD by thinking he's heard again or seeing him
- 7:18[SPEAKER_04]: go out and get me can't finish a game again.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_04]: So it's gonna be a conversation but I get it I think it's like I said some of the talk I'm seeing about jaded is just plain flat I'll wreck this and like I said on extra the day I have nowhere near at this point concerned about jaded ages because
- 7:34[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, for me, I'm excusing what I've seen this season.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'm chopping her up as he just hasn't been able to get to a rhythm.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_04]: The only thing I want Jayden to do for me going forward is the proof that he can stay healthy.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I mean, this to me as a bright man, I'm just going to chop this up as a one-off yeah, but maybe this is just one of those fluke years.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_04]: This happens in NFL.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: But throughout players teams, whatever, you see this happening in NFL, those one-off years.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not ready to even label Jayden's injury prone yet.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's a fair conversation to have, but I'm that there, yet until I see it on a multiple year basis where he's missing games consistently.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: If it happens in January, I'll probably get there.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_04]: But as of right now, I'm not really concerned about Jayden and some of the talk I've seen about him.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I'm all I'm breath.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_05]: Specifically, as it relates to his injury pain.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_05]: I have a problem.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm very, uh, what's the word?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I do have a word, but I'm not going to say it around you.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: I just a little, I think we also a little bit in the trophy that word, but I'm a nitpicky, right?
- 8:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, don't don't worry about it.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry about it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I'm going to say it at this point.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_05]: I made like casually slide the word out there, just as like a tester and be like yo, if you're a reactor certain where I'm like yo, that's what I was talking about.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_05]: So be on alert, I made through it out there.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_05]: But like I'm very particular in the way I use injury prone.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_05]: Cause you know, injury prone just indicates a person like like no brown, like he's injury prone.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_05]: He can't stay healthy where they're done.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_05]: And then there's people who just get hurt and they could play through injuries, right?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_05]: Like, Jayden played through injuries last year, um, this year, but he was hurt, right?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_05]: This year, he's gotten hurt and he was unable to continue outside of one game.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_05]: And that was the Packers game because he got hurt at the beginning of the fourth quarter play through it.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_05]: So like I'm at this point, like you see enough, I talked about it before like the energy rate is important with a quarterback.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, like if somebody said it in the chat too, Monty said his injuries have made him aggressive a little.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_05]: And a way I understand now correct me if I'm wrong in terms of how I interpret it what you're saying, but in how I feel with the regression part is like the reps like he lost so many significant reps this season and you wonder like by the time he is 100% healthy.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_05]: Like how much time that he missed will contribute to his ability or inability to like see the field a particular way.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_05]: When he came, like, throughout points of the season this year.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I mean, I've been saying it.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_05]: He ain't it's not all been clean reps like some things where it's like he's holding a ball a little bit or he's looking to run in areas where you know you would expect him to step up, make a throw Hang on a little bit longer or you know or even be accurate like His accuracy dropping a little bit
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know, I think all of them all what I'm saying is injuries have played a part and how I view Jaden.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_05]: uh as the season went along like more data your your your ability to form an opinion changes from when it was a beginner to season.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_05]: Um and and that's not to say that he's not like an elite quarterback.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_05]: He's an extremely an elite talent.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_05]: I believe that he's an elite talent.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_05]: That part has unchanged but it's like how much time how much of the time did he lost?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_05]: Kenny game back plus some and I'm not saying he can't do it, but that's what I'm interested in figuring out moving forward with Jayden.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, does that make sense to you all?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess what I took is you're saying that he needs to get a little bit more reps if he's able to just to be active in these games.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_05]: He needs the reps, I don't shy away from the fact that like no one that he wasn't fully healthy and I knew that he was going to come back and play eventually.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_05]: I don't shy away from the fact that you should, unless it was like even 95 or 90% healthy, like he should, he should, he should, he should play if he's in that threshold, but anything under that, he should have never even came back in his Minnesota, but yes, and this sense, yeah, he needs to get the reps.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think, of course, I don't know what's going on in the building behind closed doors
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: If Cliff is not going to be the OC, and the season is what it is right now, there is no point of getting these reps, because if it's not going to be conducive to actually being productive as an offense, what are we doing at this point?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the safety blanket of even this offense is that he's now gone, so now your tight
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: and a close and yank off like you have why the series is still trying to battle back from missing primarily most of the season and Terry McClellan and Noah Brown.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: What are we trying to accomplish here, and you're going into the meat and potatoes of the schedule as far as like your division?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: So you got the giants of coming, you got two games against the Eagles and the Cowboys.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just, oh no man, I'm a six of my guys.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just feel like I'm gonna play Jayden in the rest of the year.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: because even with Dan Quinn said after the game on Sunday, it doesn't make sense either.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, we said them down 14 nothing or whatever, but he really could've came back and played.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: So if that's the case, where you're still in the game, 14 nothing is not being out.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be like, you're still in the mix.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: Even 17 zeros, you're still in the mix,
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think that might have been like what second or early third quarter or yeah, like you still in the mid early third yeah so if you feel that way then don't even play them like what was what's the point what's the basis like and I don't I don't know that information but.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: I just know if I really wasn't making the calls as Jayden Dames and playing the rest of the year, but I already got enough on my table to have to fix in the all season.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: Last thing I need is my quarterback getting a more serious injury or whatever.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just don't want to risk that.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm cool.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: Let Marcus Mary Ota go out there and continue to play quarterback.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, let's just get to this offseason, you know, truly see if we're going to be able to keep our jobs beyond 2,026 season because they got a lot of things that they need to improve and that game plan that I think I've seen offensively from cliff going against Brian Flores.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand it.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: It made no sense.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, I just don't want to keep putting him jating out there.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: And even though he's getting reps, they're not positive reps.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: They're not productive reps.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_04]: Um, no, I 100% that Jaden needs to play and I've been pretty staunch of net the whole time.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, and even so much to the point where Dan Quinn says that he could have went back out there and played on Sunday, you know, but they he felt like they were out.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's culture scared to be honest.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_04]: I think at this point, Dan Quinn is second question to himself too much when it comes to Jaden Daniels.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_04]: And you know, and the one part I do agree with you on A.J.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_04]: I see there, you're gonna be all lit on this or you're gonna be all out on this.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_04]: You know, are you gonna play a murder not?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_04]: He's a football player, right?
- 15:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and Jayden says he's a football player.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Clinton leaves in the whole football culture and everything.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_04]: But I think Dan Clinton after that Seattle game is at the point of question in himself.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_04]: You know, when it comes to a Jayden danger, he's not even sure.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_04]: How to manage a handle this at this place.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: So he's been overly cautious and if you're going to be overly cautious you might as well shut them You know, that's the case But no, I think Jaden needs to go out there play.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_04]: I mean Jaden needs the reps and I feel like a lot of Estrubles you're seeing of Jaden is because he's not consistently seeing the field like if you're in the game If you're seeing action once every two to three weeks, you know, he's missed a couple of weeks at a time here
- 16:34[SPEAKER_04]: is hard to kind of get into that rhythm.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like, Jayden, you know, last year, I think we saw the best of Jayden because he was able to go out there every week and see something different and show something in their room.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_04]: But if you're going to play a game here, missed the next couple of games here, how did you kind of get in the rhythm?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's what they're in.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, basketball football, no matter the caliber of athlete,
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: If you're kind of missing action all the time and inconsistent, which actually, and that's going to be consistent, which a production on the football field.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's what we're seeing from Jayden.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I want Jayden to show that going, I want Jayden to first the foremost to show that he could prove that he could stay healthy for the rest of the season.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_04]: And if he could stay healthy for the rest of the season,
- 17:13[SPEAKER_04]: I want Jayden to put together a consistent body of work to a point where you see that steady progression and that the regression is some of the fans are seeing right now.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: We need to see Jayden show some progression this year or year too because otherwise at this point, if you shut it down now, you know, possibly looking at you too is kind of a step back year.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm still confident that he could bounce bad, but I don't want that to be the taste that Jayden goes into the hall season with is that I had a step back year.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_04]: I think regardless of what happens this year, Jayden is going to have a chip on his shoulder to summer and I hope he does do the necessary work to come out and do what he does needs to do year 3.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_04]: Now as far as the Cliff Kingsbury conversation, I had a group 100% about the game plan against Minnesota.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_04]: Then I don't know if Cliff prepared for the blitz at all in his game.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think he did Jayden and he favors in his game, because they didn't like they had any blitz counters for Brian Flores' defense on Sunday.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_04]: And that to me is something that Cliff has to evolve in, because I'm, you know, well, there's games like the Denver Broncos game where I feel like Cliff comes out, and I thought he had a hell of a game plan just the Broncos.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_04]: But why are we having too many inconsistent performances out of Cliff?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_04]: Like we have a too many performances out of clip, we're a question in a game plan.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_04]: And especially when Jayden's a quarterback, like most of the time, the game plan looks pretty good when he's tailored in it to Mary Yoda, but then when it's like with Jayden, it's like, I want to prove to you all that I got this quarterback that can go out there and he can do the most in the past game, and you're not really helping him with the ranking.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_04]: And a run game was working, and he probably needed that against Minnesota when you're facing a team that's going to kick us in, get him.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_04]: So who knows what happens with Cliff, you know, this all sees her not just been kind of the big mystery and Dan Quinn kind of answered that today saying that he doesn't know what Cliff's doing with the plan is to bring them back.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_04]: But if so, Cliff's going to have to evolve it really kind of.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he said that today he said, I don't know if he's taking a head coaching job with the plan.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: I think he says something to that effect.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I'm paraphrasing here, but I think he said that, you know,
- 19:13[SPEAKER_04]: The plan is to bring a back that I don't know if Cliff is taking a hand coaching job somewhere along those lines.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_04]: Who said it?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Quinn.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it was today or yesterday.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_05]: I saw you show a dance book.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_04]: I made out of it today.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: But I definitely sort of quote that Dan Quinn said.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_04]: Check that out.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: You may be able to find it.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_04]: But Dan Quinn definitely says something along the lines of the plan is kind of old.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: You know, yeah, and the end of the quote, I know for a fact that I saw what he said.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't know if he's taking a coaching job.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, yes, talking about Cliff.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_04]: But even the way like I said, if Cliff is coming back, he has to evolve himself with Jayden.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_04]: And part of that he involved in process is protecting Jayden in certain aspects.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_04]: And I have to keep protecting quarterback when you have a good running game playing.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_04]: And that's something that we haven't really seen from Cliff, most of the season.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_04]: All of the most of the cliffs take you here.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, I think anytime you have a team like when you're when the game is actually still in reach in your average in 4.6 4.7 yards of carry, which you're running backs, um, and they finished a game with 17 carries, uh, on 84 yards with 84 yards.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_05]: I think you do your offensive disservice.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_05]: I think time and again, this offense, they had their draw spills, right?
- 20:43[SPEAKER_05]: Like for like the couple weeks at a time when they was really in the thick of those ass movements.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_05]: Like that fire game stretch was really determined in the season.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_05]: There was times where you just couldn't run the bow.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_05]: But like for majority of the season, like running the bow was basically your identity.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_05]: identity.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_05]: I put that in quotations for those that's listening on the podcast because uh... like like they still aren't there on either side of the ball with like what their identity is like i don't i don't know what they want to do and even like when you figure out what clip does well as i will
- 21:26[SPEAKER_05]: I, you can't do it on a weekend a week out basis.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_05]: Like sometimes it's like, you get your misdirection going.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_05]: Sometimes you get skin, runners is working.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_05]: Sometimes you can get to the, to the edges.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_05]: But one thing's for certain, you know, vertical pass and gain, that shit don't exist in this office.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_05]: I sat out at the say though, like, there ain't nothing wrong with running a fucking football.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_05]: You saw in the first couple of weeks of the season, that's what he did.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_05]: And for whatever reason, he decided to shot away from it.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you were dominating the ground game, you were balanced for the most part, more so lame on the run side.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_05]: I don't understand, like, Cliff, who was it?
- 22:17[SPEAKER_05]: Let me see, because AJ, you said something in the group chat about Cliff Gangerer.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_05]: John Cine, on a team 980, and I didn't hear it, so I'm just reading a tweet, said on team 980, that he expects Cliff back, and doesn't know if he'll take a haircut, coach John.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: That was, I don't know how, that was, so it was John Cine, it was John Cine, that's what happens when you don't book markers,
- 22:47[SPEAKER_05]: So here's my thing like that and that's like no, we'll be no but we're the offenses at this point I just Like at what point Now this is mean I'm not saying whether you should or shouldn't go but I do understand like knowing
- 23:08[SPEAKER_05]: After two years, who a person is, you ought to believe that.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like, at what point would you expect Cliff Kingsbury to change for the team or for himself?
- 23:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I don't think he'll change.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_05]: I think everything's going to remain the same.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, and at that point, if everything's remain the same, the question then becomes how much of a talent over a whole, can you get on that side of the ball to make his offense work?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's the question that came to the answer right now, but that's the question that you face if Cliff doesn't move on or watch doesn't move on from Cliff.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_05]: So that's kind of how I look at this offense, bro.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_05]: If he's gonna be around, you gotta get talent and you gotta get talent fast.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, even it's like, like you just said, and what point do you trust what your eyes are seeing in the sense?
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: If you look across the NFL, the top five offices, they consist of more motion in their scheme and actually running the ball and playing off a play action.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: There is none of that within Cliffs Office of Scheme at this point.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like you're not even putting your quarterback, your franchise guy in the opportunity to progress in a sense.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: Because you're just keeping everything so basic and not forcing the defenses to have to adjust to anything,
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: even if you don't have the playmakers out there, there's nothing to even make them hesitate to to wonder is this going on?
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: Is there a counter off of this?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, so it's just from a creativity standpoint, you know, I think that's where things get a bit interesting.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's why I'm not so down about the all-season.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: I like when people are put in positions to have to pivot.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: to possibly pivot, but then if they decide to keep Dan Quinn.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: how is he going to pivot from his coordinator situation, whether that be him calling plays or hiring somebody else, whether that be from within his family tree of what he has or outside of that, like he did with Cliff and send me Cliff had no working report with each other prior, does he end up moving off of Cliff, maybe Cliff ends up taking a job or just steps away
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: It should be an automatic clip should return.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then another thing is, Adam Peters, what are you going to do with another major overhaul at roster construction?
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: Because you went into taking the job of having to get rid of all the round of errors previous players and draft picks overall.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: And you kind of set the tone year one, then you go year two.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: You try to build on top of almost getting to a suitable birth
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: and you're now possibly picking top five.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: You got to go back and do the same thing that you did.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: Year one in the sense, but at a higher clip.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_04]: You know, AJ, you actually said something and I'm actually surprised like because, you know, over the past couple of weeks, you've just kind of been on the fire, everybody trained, but you actually said something about pivoting that if these guys aren't here like the dead twins and the Adam, he was probably what you big will be.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't think there's going to be any firearms, but the heat's turned up now and this is what I want to see because
- 26:46[SPEAKER_04]: Last off season, you know, we give last off season a lot of hell, especially how does he's turned out, but that was no he don't anyone in the organization last off season last off season still the hunting moon period, like we were all going to hide we just came up in the NFC championship game after year one, there's no heat, you know, I was having conversations earlier, you know,
- 27:06[SPEAKER_04]: with people and people were like, well, you know, the pressure was high on these guys, you know, last year and they didn't deliver.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like the pressure wasn't really the high on them.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_04]: You got to think from their standpoint, they're looking at it like we just came off the net, the NFC championship game and year two and a year, well, year one and a year we weren't expected to be anywhere close to that.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_04]: We got the quarterback right, blah, blah, blah.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_04]: All we got to do was add a couple of pieces so we could sustain what we're doing.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_04]: but they were wrong, they missed the mark.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_04]: They missed the mark pretty badly, and we are here now to the point where the honey moves over.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like, now we're entering all season, we're just gonna be actual pressure, we're just gonna be actual heat to do something that you really didn't do the years past.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_04]: And last couple of years,
- 27:49[SPEAKER_04]: You've kind of been in a position where you're looking at the front office and they're saying we can just add one year players or we can add these stock gaps while we're building this core up, but the problem is you missed on some key draft picks.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_04]: Especially when you talk about a last draft and I'm not even trying to get to the point where I'm calling these guys, but yeah, but they haven't shown us yet that they can be core pieces and that's a pretty big deal.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_04]: So now the thing is,
- 28:11[SPEAKER_04]: You have the heat turned up on you how aggressive are you going to beat us off season because you can't afford another season like this no one can afford another season like this from Aga Peters Dan Quinn now I don't think Aga Peters is going to make any drastic moves right now, but I was wondering what drastic moves Dan Quinn mix because if anything his seat's going to be hired in the GM right now.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_04]: And does he go kind of new clear?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we already noted that the defense of coordinated position is up for the scutcha, whether it's gonna be Dan Quinn, whether it's gonna be some somebody outside, whatever the case may be.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_04]: We have to make a higher there.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_04]: Now, what does he do with Cliff?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_04]: Does he happy with Cliff?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_04]: Does he feel like Cliff is a guy that's gonna keep him right while he's in the hot seat because Nick knows what's take about it.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Quinn's gonna be on a hot seat in here, perfect.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_04]: So what does he do with his urgency?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know, and I'm he does he to be a little bit more urgent with his roster construction.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: But Dan Quinn has to be urgent now.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: Wait, um, here's one thing that we're overlooking.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: Draw you keep saying you're three for Dan Quinn.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_05]: What if they lose out like what the fuck happens if they lose out?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_05]: And they don't win a game because like I'm not saying that It's gonna be hard to lose.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_05]: I don't like it's gonna be pretty easy.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_05]: It's very baseless No, but like in reality that's what 12 straight losses bro.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and what if they and what if they lose two of those four at least two of the four
- 29:42[SPEAKER_05]: by 20 points or more again.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: What if it happens again?
- 29:46[SPEAKER_05]: It can tend used to happen.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_05]: Like, well, just say that some, most of these guys make it to their year three.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's where the entry is at, because I mean, easily, like we just said, the last four games they could lose all of them.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: You know, giant saying that's to say, you know, cakewalk.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, okay, why have you beat the Giants, but you, you lose the Dallas and you lose the Philly twice, you know, like the popular man in a young thug, what do you do?
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it doesn't really change anything because you were building, you were building off of year one.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: like if anything, what's happening this season should have looked like year one, but it did it, right?
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know, thankfully for us as fans, we were able to experience that because you really don't know if you ever get that experience again in your life.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like it took a while in the adulthood to get to that point.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: But you really don't know what happens.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you continue to lose our street, real conversations have to happen.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think conversations have already happened, but it gets even more real because you're in prime time slots.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like cowboys and in Washington, that is a Christmas night game.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: Christmas night on Netflix.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like,
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Then whenever they play Philly, I don't remember, well, that's two weeks, that's a week from now on a Saturday.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's another prime time game.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if you can just blown out, like, it's not going to be a pretty site and it's going to get real ugly on who has to make these decisions.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why I felt like it was dangerous for Dan Quinn to
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: and name himself as the play caller.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: That was a lose little situation, AJ.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's other guys on that defense that could have called plays, but I get it.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he that type of guy.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_02]: And now this is what comes with that territory because they not look at any different.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where balls down to it's still a personnel issue.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's severely a personnel issue.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like,
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Once they did not score in the red zone at the one to your line, bro, that said the tone for the entire game, like the entire game was changed after not scoring a touchdown.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, maybe the defense would have been a bit more competitive, but to get to the one or two your line and not be able to score on four tries.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, bro.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like what do we talk about, we, we get one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL overall.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: You have a left tackle that you traded for.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: You keep bringing in Brandon Coleman to be the eligible, eligible man, like, how do you not get one yard bro?
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you could even hide the ball under center and have Ben Senate, Chris, Jayden Danes in the back to get one yard.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it shouldn't have had came down to the devil, you know, drop on a fourth now.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's just those type of things, it all plays a role with things.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: Cause it's just like, all right, here we go.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's another bullshit as they, and what Minnesota drove the ball, 98 yards for it says them.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_04]: And they had the, they had the ball like a whole quarter on that process.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: That was more damn than anything.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think what's the only had the ball twice in my first half?
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, first half, yeah.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_05]: Jayden can get my fear.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, come on, dog, he can't.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_05]: Right time, but they went bring out.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I won and basically that was it.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_05]: Add a 12 minute drive if I can do it.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: But it's just like that tank that played a major toll in the entire game like so It's not like I want guys to get fired.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to see how you how you adapt if you change because This is Dan Quinn's last opportunity being the head coach.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: It is what it is you feel me so when you rave about You know Couldn't wait to get that opportunity again Well, you got the opportunity again.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: What are you going to do to fix it because
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: is not looking good for your your livelihood at head coach in this league unless you lock in and figure out like hey I'm gonna have to pivot somewhere in some regard if I really want to get this thing rolling because it's just not looking good like on both sides of the ball at least one side of the ball could be productive but special teams ain't even productive like
- 34:35[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I remember when Dan Quinn and Adam Peters, you know, held their joint pressures between the first season and all season of, um, 2021.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_05]: And, like, one thing that is understandable and it's not like a hindsight thing, but I wonder like how Dan thinks about this, right?
- 35:04[SPEAKER_05]: Uh,
- 35:05[SPEAKER_05]: He was very big on allowing Adam Peters to bring in a talent like he wanted to absolve himself from all roster roster moves and decision making from never guard and he was just going to cultivate the talent that Adam Peters brings in and look like look where you're at from year one to year two.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_05]: It's really ancient, ancient change from year one to year two.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, you know, you're going to see your three trying to reevaluate damn their every position.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's the same holes, bro.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, that's why that's why I'm frustrated.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: You got the same holes as when you took the job.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: Mine is quarterback.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: This was a lab.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_05]: And I wonder, like, not that Dan should have been,
- 36:05[SPEAKER_05]: all-in-one roster decisions, but like, damn, bro.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_05]: I said at least had like 10% or 15% sway, that's the word.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_05]: 10% to 15% sway on what we're doing with the roster because now I'm in a position where I ain't got shit.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_05]: I ain't got depth.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_05]: I gotta go find me, X, Y, Z.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_05]: And I had to find the X-Wazee when I got here.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I don't know, man, I think it's interesting just thinking about that aspect of things too, because that dynamic and the reason why I brought it up, that hey coaching GM dynamic, like they may be buddy buddy, and how they get along from like a, that standpoint, but I wonder like how from a roster build and standpoint, I wonder where they stand now, because
- 37:00[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, I mean, the product that you got right here.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_05]: If you all want to say in page, like this is where I really AJ, if you all want to say in page with how this roster being built and then sure fire, most you all need to be fired at the same time.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_05]: Well, if you all get who the both of y'all got to go at the same time.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: And his the thing, like for me, the person, this, I don't really give coaches death a pass for personnel because
- 37:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm we talked about the joint press conferences by Adam Peters and Dan Clinton.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_04]: The keyword they use a couple of keywords and we've heard these things over and over again.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_04]: Collaborative in a line vision, right?
- 37:40[SPEAKER_04]: Those are the two things they always say, which means Adam Peters isn't going to roll out here and just picking guys and saying, hey, Dan, what a work for this guy.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_04]: They're having collaborative meetings.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to say the picture like like that.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_05]: But I know like Dan Quinn's biggest thing is he wanted to focus on the team and less roster management.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_05]: That's kind of, that's, that's what I want to be clear.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_05]: That like that's something that he was very adamant on when he came to Washington.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_05]: Like less roster management.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_05]: More.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_05]: coaching, building a team, developing culture, all of that.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I get that bit at the same time.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_04]: I still believe that Adam Peters, at the very least, is giving guy, giving Dan Quinn guys, especially when I live in the defense.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_04]: I felt like he's given a piece of the dead queen of his staff as felt like they can work with.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like when you hear these guys talking to summer, this is, oh yeah, you know, we got this guy, we could do this with this guy.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_04]: And then you see it in the season and it's like none of it works.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_04]: Now I'm not saying that, you know, it's all on the dead queen or whatever, but I do think that these guys really do have a ton of say in what goes down personnel wise or at least a type of
- 38:52[SPEAKER_04]: they can work with.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_04]: So then we look at the defense and we just keep saying personnel personnel personnel personnel and they don't have the personnel and it does look that way.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_04]: But these are guys that they felt like they could work with.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, I fully believe that they couldn't have these conversations like, yeah, you know, this play could work, this play could work.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_04]: A couple of these players, Dan Quinn is Mr. Millie, what's in the past?
- 39:13[SPEAKER_04]: Bobby Quinn is his guy.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I mean, a couple of guys on his defense, they thought, I mean, Adam Peters, obviously familiar with some of the guys, like the Chiffon, Ken Laws, up the world, things like that.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_04]: But that's why it's been so baffling to me, like I understand you have a bad defense.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_04]: But at this point, you're not getting hardly anything out of these guys.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_04]: And it's hard for me to look at a Mikey same or still, and, you know, certain guys like that and just feel like these guys don't know how to play football and
- 39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I mean, now I understand you're missing a pass rush, but these guys didn't forget how to play football and what is the culture step kind of teaching these guys?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_04]: And what is going wrong?
- 39:49[SPEAKER_04]: And isn't this connect somewhere?
- 39:51[SPEAKER_04]: And it may be that disconnect between Adam and Dan Quinn.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think you fully truly know, either.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_04]: the dynamic and how the process goes and he's in a pick-up place, like I said, I do fully believe the day and clean is involved in that process.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_04]: And if he's involved in that process and then you play, he hasn't handed the personnel and he doesn't get to be absolved when, you know, the personnel looks bad because where's the play of the development?
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: Like right now, I think that's probably the biggest issue right now.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_04]: We're not seeing players develop, like, and when you talk about the roster as far as
- 40:23[SPEAKER_04]: what it's been better since their 10 year here.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think you can say that our office as a total has been better.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_04]: Now our biggest issue is probably with all of this is more so Cliff King's Barry sometimes with his game plans because I feel like your better at office online as a whole and then when you took over, obviously courted back, but I mean that was a kind of a can't miss type of thing when you're picking number two.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_04]: And the worst thing I do think is better,
- 40:49[SPEAKER_04]: but you had to have Chris Moore be in number one while obviously most of the year.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_04]: He didn't plan on that, but I do think that group is better than what you started, but tight in was better.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_04]: Like, even though we get on Zach Hertz, my Zach Hertz was productive in his time, but I think you can upgrade and do better in Hertz, but he was better, but you're gonna have to find every place for now, but my issue is more so when a defensive side of the football,
- 41:11[SPEAKER_04]: because I just haven't seen the development there and we have a defensive head coach.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_04]: And that's a real indictment on Dan Kulman.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_04]: You look at that defense.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_04]: So that's where my issue is live and I'm wondering what's the disconnect at this point but there's something has to be fixed there.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_05]: Cause of one comment.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't I don't I don't I don't I don't think we see it the same way some of those as in a chat Adam Peter is I'm not going to go into a back a huge back and forth, but I just don't think we see it the same way I think from a literal standpoint like we we'd know that there's some influence
- 41:47[SPEAKER_05]: from the staff to Adam Peters because we know Josh Conley was drafted more and more in part because Cliff King's very love Josh Conley.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, what do you, why do you think Adam Peters drafted them?
- 41:59[SPEAKER_05]: Like, we know that the staff has some influence.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_05]: It's not like a dictatorship.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_05]: It's not like he has zero control on what he has like maybe my delivery and how I said it may be comes across is like he had he has zero choice, but when I'm talking about he doesn't want to focus on that like he doesn't he doesn't hit he won't he trust the it's the reason why to even get Adam Peters Adam Peters has a reputation of developing champion or being part of those championship roster change.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_05]: And that's kind of where I'm like, all right, well, if Dan Quinn would like to be in more of all, I don't, that's where I agree with some, I don't agree with some of y'all, like he's not, he's actually less involved than he was in Atlanta.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_05]: Like, that's a track record, like he's verbally said, he doesn't need that much involvement.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_05]: So if you think that he is that involved like you're mistaken and if I end up being real cool, but I know what I know and I remember what he said and I think when you think about from a headquarters standpoint, sometimes like there's heels that you got to dial on.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_05]: And when you on your last leg, I will never, I will never be upset at Jay Grooding.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_05]: A coat, let's go, bro.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_05]: You start in, we're about to roll with you.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_05]: We're about to try and beat this shit out of the past year.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: That first Josh Steven Sam's had their hand off, bro, went for 50 yards in the 30.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, oh shit, now I knew he was getting fired.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_05]: So I was not like, I thought he'd be about to win or anything.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't think that.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, oh, they're covering I was fighting.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_05]: And they didn't score the rest of the game.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_05]: But he went down on his heel.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm saying, like, if you,
- 43:50[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my, I need a new chair.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_05]: If you're going to go down, right?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_05]: Like go down in some sense where you have more control Then you didn't have before like go down on what you feel comfortable with and this is not to say that Dan Clinton is about to get fired or his season is over But I wonder like the amount of time that his past two years worth of time
- 44:13[SPEAKER_05]: right and and really a one true all season I can give him the first all season twenty twenty four I could do your thing AP but year two I wonder how much time really pays where it's like bro I wanted this guy or like I feel like we could have went different right here or I feel like we could have went younger
- 44:34[SPEAKER_05]: and certain spies are like, I feel like we could have had a different approach.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: Like, those things, he'll never admit that he probably will have second guesses.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_05]: But I will guarantee you he's probably thinking about some areas of the team where it's like damn, I could have done a little bit more here.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_05]: That's why I'm getting it.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's it.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like we had another question with this for this show.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't need to.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if we answered it directly on the roster and team concerns I guess we did here are the roster and team concerns that were present.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_05]: When AP and DQ took over still and issued today.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_05]: I would say that I mean I think we all can agree that.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_05]: It is outside of the tackle and quarterback.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: As I said, the office, I said the office in total was better, but obviously, positions like Titan, you're going to have to dress Titan.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_04]: But we knew we were going to have to stay anyway with Earth's age.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and I'm about to say now that I think about it, bro, I'm being a little lazy.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_05]: The office of mine, actually, I'm cool.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's a cool.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's much better than what he took over.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's all like not just left tackle they've done a solid job building a bad office of life Center right guard Josh Connelly is like a TBD but like I think like I told you all he's just going to have to win ugly.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it's getting
- 46:05[SPEAKER_05]: Things, I don't think it's getting better no time soon, but hopefully he does develop into a solid right tackle that he is dependable from a technical standpoint and from an actual place choice standpoint.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_05]: But I think the offensive line is solid.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's the one thing that you can lean on.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_05]: It ain't, that knows.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_04]: When the receiver group as a hold was better right too, I mean, you still gotta have some upgrades there, but it's better than what you took.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_04]: What did you take over?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: Well, who was it?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: Was a Curtis Samuel Terry
- 46:34[SPEAKER_05]: No, Curtis is gone last year too.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_05]: Curtis was OZ.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_05]: John Curtis and you turned before.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_05]: That was your talk for your touch.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and trade points for you.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, I think you had a better place, but it's not it's not ideal.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's the issue, but I still say this.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, the issue was the defense side of the football, which is that indictment on Dan Quinn, because
- 47:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't feel like Adam Pete is just going out there getting defensive guys that just doesn't fit with the coin things he can do or I don't think he's just getting guys that you know Dan Quinn doesn't what I think there is some kind of a lot of vision and I think there's been a development issue since Dan Quinn is being here and that's something that's going to have to be addressed but that's kind of why what's something fresh here like I don't what Dan Quinn
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: according to his defense going forward.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't want anyone to get a clean, coordinate and his defense going forward.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, fresh eyes.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, a fresh look at what's needed on defense.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that shannon hand treat stat is getting thrown out there at nausea at this point.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_04]: And who can blame people?
- 47:48[SPEAKER_05]: Come on, Sam, maybe we're almost having this year.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's a real thing.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, if then Quinn has struggles, going to get that treat,
- 47:55[SPEAKER_04]: How do I have confidence that him or anyone from his tree is going to correct that in all of season?
- 48:00[SPEAKER_04]: That's why I want fresh eyes on this defensive.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Quinn wants to play this CEO role that he's wants to play, you know, the culture guy.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to, you know, talk you through a brick wall type of guy.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_04]: Cool.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_04]: Then get someone else in here that's going to run the defense.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you don't have a relationship with that guy.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_04]: Just like you didn't have a relationship with Cliff.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_04]: Don't be afraid to bring that guy in and I want to see if Dan is going to have his ego.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm not saying he has an ego, but I just think that's a J-group, you know, not wanting to hire a guy as they kind of could have took his position.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_04]: Now, Dan Quinn, if he's that coach, I think he should bring in a guy that is a strong candidate that you see.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_04]: That's not from his culture tree.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: But then, see, Greg, here's the issue, right?
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's one thing if you are a team motivator as a head coach, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, but, but I'm, but I'm, but I'm, I mean, you see, he didn't human resource management.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Joe Witt was right before they get day time and attendance.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like Joe, Witt was running day and quiz defense.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: You've only so it's just now, are you going to have the GM mirror this new defensive coordinator that comes in scheme?
- 49:25[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you're saying, go from the outside, go from the outside, guy.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: Then the coordinator and Adam Peters have the work in alignment with each other to get the right players to fit that mode because I mean, I don't really know a bunch of the names I could be possibly out there.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: I know who could be possibly out there from like familiarity from DQ side, but like I just even think.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: That that's just an issue.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how you get to that point because then it's like what's the point like right you dead.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't cable.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: You've really like that's what you want to be and and if that's the case there wasn't a need to necessarily hire you because
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: We're not looking for you to be dead.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_02]: Can't we look for you to actually get people in alignment and running a proper scheme from a defensive side and let the office of God do his thing.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: And even with Cliff, you know, do you feel threatened as a defensive coordinator going to get a cliff against very offense?
- 50:27[SPEAKER_02]: If you're zero and seven against, you know, the Kyle Shanna hands type of tree, which you had Kyle in the building with you in Atlanta.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: So you have familiarity with that.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: Do you now primarily focus on getting someone from that background, whether it be, you know,
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: learn away at Kubiak or maybe you might make Daniels things still happen.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it's just, what are those cases where I just don't know what happens, man.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: But I, I'm very intrigued.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really down about the season per se.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think that the most important season is coming up, which is next month.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's when we're learning the fate of a lot of people.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: We'll also understand what they plan on doing.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: let's say with learn me tonsil.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they should have did the learn me tonsil extension before the season kicked off now He by the get all the accolades and all these other things to go on top of the trade is just gonna be an interesting offseason overall so get your mock drafts together You know start pinning people in whatever the case is and let's see how this thing boils down because
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: There's some tough decisions that's going to be made in Washington from the ownership group to the head coast to the GM, especially if everybody stays in the fold with one another.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_05]: Let's leave it there.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, good show.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate about the second and live money ball said no underdog and look man we have seasons my brother.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to be back.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_05]: But you know what time it is you can always do promo code chapter that right now, you know, first five dollars 50 bonus funds, you know, for the rest of the season.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, that's another thing I hate about washing the face.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be talking about these damn training for asses and getting more.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, like, that impetus, Peter's have more pigs, more pigs his first year and look at them pieces of shit.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I mean, at the end of the day, you need to hit on players.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: You just need guys to be elite or major contributors.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you don't need more asses.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: You just need to hit on your damn pigs.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's two, it's two picks in particular.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't think I'll ever get over it.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_05]: They both came in the second round.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: I know that said it's one of them.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to have some new things that I have the one.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_05]: They're very safe.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: I told you, man, that boy, it was... Tevanzi's sweat right there.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but that's the thing Adam he just cannot this we have to get bigger and I know this is cliche Nothing a bigger stronger physical younger no more undecised guys Newton's undecised Sammer still Undercised a lot of those guys of tweeners at this point you need guys that you know Can't bang at the NFL level like you know No guys that you know you gonna come in and well, I'm in this guy's too small, but he's a football player
- 53:30[SPEAKER_04]: No, we need some bigger guys, we need physical, we need faster, we need younger straight up.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_05]: I couldn't tell you who I pick, I had a dense Senate, I just knew that he was the reach.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_05]: If you've been following us on Shopify for forever, you knew how we felt about Ben Senate.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_05]: We even interviewed Jordan Reed.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_05]: uh, and in our facial reaction in real time, when he was breaking down, Ben's Senate vehemently disagree with his analysis, not nothing against Jordan himself, but it's like pro.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I, we watching, I'll be watching the same player, like, how can he shoot up draft boards?
- 54:10[SPEAKER_05]: And all the whole, somebody took the bait.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_05]: And guess who it was?
- 54:14[SPEAKER_05]: The good news though, for those who do like Ben's Senate, they believe that Ben's Senate
- 54:20[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, it came at the expense of Zach Ertts unfortunately, but, you know, you see more of this in it.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_04]: So how much of an indictment will it be if he don't play?
- 54:30[SPEAKER_04]: If you see John basic hosting ink off out there, I think that tells you everything they think about Vincent.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't think we need any indictment on that said, if we already know the answers to the sense, bro.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think we know the answer to the test when it comes to that boy like now.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not so definitive, but I do I'm with you in that.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see it But I'm never quick to brace in my health completely, but I Will put it on record that I don't I just I really don't I don't I didn't see it.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see it
- 55:03[SPEAKER_05]: So if they got a plan for him, they better make him look the fuck good right now.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_04]: They have the show this ball.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_04]: So right now what you're gonna make is right good.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_04]: Because they will not show us.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_04]: Then my thing is if, all right, you don't think Ben Sin is worth anything.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, Zachers not playing anymore.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_04]: Let us see that he's not worth anything.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_04]: Let us see whatever you see in the practice But as you at some point you got to go out there and let the second round pick show whether he can do it or whether he can otherwise We just always don't believe you're worried that this dude just wasn't it, which you probably is I think you're going to learn more about yanko There you learn about singing Probably a little I agree
- 55:44[SPEAKER_05]: All right, man.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_05]: All 32 of the tomorrow.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate about his life in the chat.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_05]: What's up, Colin?
- 55:51[SPEAKER_05]: A dead, skin, spanned, john, money, ball, jay, tizzy.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_05]: Let me scroll up a little bit.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_05]: Mazi, booing, paper.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_05]: A few more in the chat as well.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_05]: Jit.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, Lord, see you here.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_05]: I go.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_05]: Just, just seeing you know.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, see, as soon as I first got this time, it's time to get over it.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_05]: All 32 back tomorrow, game preview on Thursday.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_05]: Once you're out, get a guest on for the Thursday show, both New York and for Washington.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe you just even focus on Washington, Senator Display may be going to be reporter on or something like that.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe it's not secret, as well, so we'll figure that part out.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, until next time, I'll take these and enjoy your night back to Harlem.
