- 1:55[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to have two of them, Josh Connelly, and Johnny Newton, so I've been on look out for that.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_05]: They'll probably end up being published next week.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_05]: So I was just going on there.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_05]: We got a lot of news today.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of shit to talk about, right?
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's been pretty boring.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Really nice.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not the ball for real.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like you know, we'll say that say that yeah, I guess it's pretty boring on one more minutes later, I'm before I forget.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_05]: How can that that's actually super disrespectful?
- 2:29[SPEAKER_05]: We're having guests going on this the second half of the show.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_05]: The back half of the show real Robinson You all are tapping on the YouTube side of things for the command is real
- 2:39[SPEAKER_05]: you know Rio or you should know Rio he is I mean local guy for sure but also though it is I was trying to think of his subscriber count man I think we last time we had him want to show he was under 10k
- 2:57[SPEAKER_05]: He's over 20 K now.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_05]: So I'll just put it that way.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_05]: He's been doing this thing grinding on the YouTube side.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_05]: So side of the helmet, Rio is going to be joining us.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_05]: We want to chop it up a little bit.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_05]: Talk all the things, commanders.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_05]: Probably have some of the same conversations with a different perspective given that we ain't talking to him in a while.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_05]: So if you all are a fan of Rio, man, go ahead and get your popcorn ready.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to have a good conversation with him in a little bit.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, Bobby's asking that fire.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_05]: Um, three.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_05]: Uh.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_05]: coaches for Washington at least so far has been relieved of their duties.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_05]: And I said, Clip, I fired.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_05]: I, they partied ways.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_05]: Him and Dan Quinn partied ways that's to be more detailed and accurate.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to put the fire label if that's not how they want to freeze it.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_05]: So they partied ways, but Joe Whit was fired and Bobby Johnson was as well.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, heading to today, I think for all of us, we kind of knew Joe, it was just a matter of time.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_05]: I think for Cliff Kingsbury, we had a conversation in our group chat fellas.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_05]: I think the way that they were careful with their words wasn't a big deal to me.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_05]: I know that he was also like on a ticking what's it called a ticking time bomb a ticking by it was his his his time was expiring so into what is it was just like are you going to pull the trigger now or like are you waiting for like a certain type of plan to come come through on what kind of doctor would all but yeah man Dan Quinn I guess to start the conversation for me my my immediate thought when those two were fired
- 4:51[SPEAKER_05]: Those two were let go in their respective ways.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_05]: You know, A, I know, I know if I can up while you're in, but you got it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_05]: You got to make sure everything that you strike or that you swing at hits, that you hit and that you can't afford either side from a coordinator perspective to sink the ship because that's your edge.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_05]: Now, as opposed to anybody else's that's in this organization.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I think we knew Joe with situation was happening, I thought he might get demoted and still be on staff, but they decided to part ways overall, which I know was probably a hard thing for Dan Quinn to do as he had so much faith.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_03]: in Joe with Junior and they have a great relationship by which is what led to him even getting the opportunity to move from Dallas to Washington to call the defense.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_03]: Something that he's been hoping to do for a lot of his coaching career.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_03]: Just then pan out the way that they both envisioned.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_03]: Now with Cliff, I never looked at Cliff as being
- 6:05[SPEAKER_03]: a permanent factor of the staff.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_03]: I think that last year's success being won game away from the Super Bowl prolonged that situation.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: I felt like he was a London Duncoge anyways.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: But with them being so close to the Super Bowl is like, how could you walk away from that opportunity and you still also are getting paid from Arizona?
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: your head coaching money and you're being paid by Washington B.O.C.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: it just didn't make sense to take one of those jobs or put yourself in that marketplace because a lot of these coaches know what jobs are going to be coming open before they even happen and when I say before they even happen not meeting black Monday but knowing like sometimes months in advance
- 6:52[SPEAKER_03]: that's just how it works.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: So I just think that he was a one-and-done guy.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: They're trying to work it as a mutual splitting.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's the same thing in my opinion, Rose.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's no different.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's a firing.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, I just think that my biggest issue with this situation overall is
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: portion of his tenure with the Washington Commanders as their leader and he has to fire his DC and his O.C.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: and get new people into the boat.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_03]: You might as well just fire the head coach.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's just where I stand with it.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: If I got to get rid of both of my play callers, might as well get rid of the head coach and just start this thing over it all together because if it doesn't work out,
- 7:47[SPEAKER_03]: You might be on coordinator number three.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_03]: Next year, Office of Lee and D.F.S.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: Lee.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: So, that's, that's my personal opinion, and that's was really had me kind of flustered from a fan standpoint.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I guess we'll see what happens with these hires that take place around the league.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I think there's, matter of fact, I know there's a few more dominos that are coming that could
- 8:24[SPEAKER_06]: First of all, I think hard knocks has got a lot more interesting because if I'm not mistaken, that goes on throughout January.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_06]: So, you know, I think I've missed the last couple of episodes, but I shall be catching the next couple as long as it's still on because I want to see how it would transpire or what went down because I think what you have with the coverage of it.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Drake, you know, hard knocks is cutting up the film right now.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_03]: So like hard knocks literally when they air show Tuesday, they're still cutting it editing episodes like up until the final hour.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_03]: So we may get a glimpse of that.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_05]: We may get a glimpse of this in the conversation with Dan Quix.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_05]: Hey man, brother, brother why can't we get on the same page?
- 9:10[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry brother, we couldn't kick any ass together anymore.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_06]: But no, man, um, I think what you see with Cliff, and it wasn't a matter of Cliff not having success here, even when you look at this season this season, I mean, you could have trip you know, a lot of it to injuries, like I mean, how many office of coordinators are successful without their quarterback, you know, started quarterback for the majority of the season, you're super star quarterback, and I just started quarterback and he's a star quarterback.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_06]: And not only that, you were missing Sam Cows me for over half a season, that's one of your best office.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of Terry was out of a lot of more than half of the season.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_06]: You didn't have a really number two, I mean, yeah, people of Samuel, but you were a lot of a new around what you should never do.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_06]: And he was out for most of the time.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_06]: You lost Austin Neckler early in the season, so a lot of offensive coordinators are going to be handicapped with that, but with all of that said, I think this was just simply a philosophy difference.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_06]: and it came down to I want to say that Seattle game probably started bringing things to a boil when you know you're down 38, 14 or whatever it was in that game you're still kind of running jade and dails.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's when things started coming to a boil for you know not only at theaters but also for dangling.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_06]: And I want to say to that Minnesota Vikings game was probably weird the last were drawn right there like this is where it was probably a point of no return at that point like there they were like we have to do something different and we want to preserve this quarterback we want to preserve our young star quarterback.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_06]: for the future going for we're gonna have to go with a different philosophy.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Cliff is Cliff, you knew what Cliff was before Cliff got hit before you hired Cliff, you knew what Cliff brought to the table.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_06]: He's a past guy.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_06]: He loves gone past happy.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_06]: He's also gonna utilize his quarterback in ways that he feels like his quarterback's going to be successful.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_06]: That's going to be running power draws with the quarterback a lot of run pass options with the quarterback.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_06]: He's going to
- 11:04[SPEAKER_06]: It worked, but when it didn't work, you almost damn they got him hurt.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Jayden also has to a job to protect himself as well.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_06]: But I think what you see now is from at least Adam Peters and a Dan Quinn.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_06]: They want to go on a different direction.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_06]: But they protect in their court of back as far as maybe they want him under Senator Moore.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they want to leave on a rank game a little bit more.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_06]: And kind of as we talked about with the Bobby Johnson fired to me, the intriguing thing because with that, it signals a philosophy change in how you want to run your office because I think you know, Mark Bullock put it out there that Bobby Johnson is more of a, I still would visit the gap stuffing scheme, whereas you probably looking for more of a zone blocking scheme.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_06]: You're probably looking to go more towards that territory.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_06]: So that's going to be interesting to see going forward with somebody's eyes are going to be, but it's going to be important because
- 11:54[SPEAKER_06]: whoever you pair up with Jayden.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_06]: I mean this is it.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_06]: This is this is the coordinator that you're putting with him before he signs that big deal.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_06]: If he's going to show up and get that big bill, this is an important season.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_06]: Like here three, he has to stay healthy, but he also has to show more development.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_06]: He has to be a life in sync with whoever it is is.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_06]: And I think you probably have to get a proving guy in here to work with Jayden.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_06]: Someone who's been around the league for years.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_06]: Someone who's called plays before.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_06]: to replace a clip as again.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think clip was bad at all.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_06]: I think clip has success here, but this is to me just signals a philosophy changing.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_06]: That's what they want to do.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_05]: I think there's two important things that should be talked about.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_05]: The first thing, I don't think that
- 12:45[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think they clipped it and keep this in perspective from like, you know, the type of coach it is and like, what he brings from a his philosophy, right?
- 12:53[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think Cliff did anything wrong.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_05]: I think there's a reason why his players love him.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they were openly advocating for him.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_05]: and the Locker Cleanouts, and I think, honestly, bro, I even acknowledge this.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't see longevity and cliff, but I wouldn't have been super...
- 13:19[SPEAKER_05]: I wouldn't have been mad or pissed off if he ended up doing a third year here in Washington, right?
- 13:25[SPEAKER_05]: I think, I'd have been okay with it.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_05]: from a Danquen standpoint, and what I appreciate is something similar to a, who's the thing about, right, right, more.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_05]: We had this conversation.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think we said this on the podcast, but like when you see something like working, Brad, or if you don't see like something that you're confident in for the long run,
- 13:55[SPEAKER_05]: It's okay to pull the plug like people won't go on like be happy necessarily that you make that decision, but if you make that decision do it because you believe That there's something better for your team available or that you can do better that's for your team and your group of guys and like that's that's a different direction than what you currently have so I'm not mad at Dan Quinn
- 14:21[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, if he believes that there's better out there, I'm not mad at, uh, Cliff Kingsbury.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_05]: It's also not his fault, uh, the players love him, um, and things that that nature, uh, I think that's, that's kind of the, the first emphasis that I wanted to put out there, is like, there's, there shouldn't be any blaming or anything at that nature, um,
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: When you look at, when you look at what he brought, and you look at somebody with a main coaching change, which would be the offensive line right now, I don't know that it's like a just a,
- 15:06[SPEAKER_05]: Like we went from gap schemes to Zones game.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it's just like run based.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think that it's like the reason behind the office of line coaching changes is anything literally philosophically related to any future coach that's coming in.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_05]: I think Bobby came in.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_05]: because he was like that that long wolf.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_05]: He was literally just on Davos, Davos staff and New York.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_05]: He came over here.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_05]: They saw something in them.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_05]: They knew when he was capable of he proved himself okay, right?
- 15:45[SPEAKER_05]: But like what else can you get from office of my position?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_05]: You can probably get more, like you can probably get more coordinated
- 15:54[SPEAKER_05]: One thing that bothers me when I watch tape bro.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_05]: And then nobody's talking about, since Bobby's been let go.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_05]: Like, they don't necessarily pick up stunts will.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_05]: They don't pick up stunts will sometimes, man.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_05]: And that may be a used thing sometimes, maybe, because, uh,
- 16:12[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Cliff called Chris Paul ran into it.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_05]: Cliff Paul with the foot.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_05]: And then the rookie on the right side, he's had problems picking up stunts as well.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_05]: So Josh Connelly, so it's like, it's not just a run-skinned thing, and it's also not like a Bobby Johnson is there.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_05]: But it's like, all right, if we're going to, if we had the long wolf here, right, and Bobby Johnson, let's get a new guy in for whichever coordinator
- 16:42[SPEAKER_05]: And let's see what we can do here because it may still be a gap scheme, uh, uh, uh, run, run scheme.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_05]: It may end up changing to the zone scheme, who knows, but there's several different elements that this office, I like can get better at even if they were competent and actually of one of the more stronger units of the office, I think there's several things to think about there.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but yeah, that's that's kind of where I wanted to like add into the conversation.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_05]: Um, this this is it's it's a lot more from these these coaching staff to think about and I don't know who they're going to start by diving into in terms of the coordinator search.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I would imagine they start like as soon as possible, but I think they have a range of guys that they can choose from knowing that Jayden dams is quarterback and it is essential to make sure that you get him in line right in terms of like.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: playing within structure of your offense, but also acknowledge the playmaking and explosive ability as like let it out the cage a little bit here and there.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_05]: And even if you're down and you need him to take over, let that move for the loose.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_05]: But if we want structure and we want him to actually throw the ball, get the ball out his hands.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_05]: avoid that injury risk protect him like get a coordinator who's smart enough to know how to run the ball how to how to have an identity stick with it.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_05]: But more importantly get this motherfuckers some athletes on that side of the ball, bro.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think people's back
- 18:25[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I mean, I don't know, I think Debo still, Debo still got an opportunity to return because I mean, I guess I'll say it here, like I've been telling you I'll probably, but I truly believe from what I've been told and sources that I've talked to in these spaces, the OC is going to be Mike McDaniels and the DC is going to be Ryan Morris.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's how if I'm wrong, y'all can die on a receiving me dog, you feel me?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's what the, that's what the list you do is in the heard of Dane.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't know why they apologize, I don't know why they apologize, I don't know why they could say that this connect was between AP and Kiff Kaysburg.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_05]: It was clearly out to the pressure, out to the pressure and after reporting of him being gone, it was the disconnect came between coach and coach.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I had to shit on her because that's not, that's, you shouldn't have to do that, but I mean, yeah, they should, they should have, they should have, they should have apologize or I mean, can't, at the end of the day, let's move on with that right, because Cliff is no longer a part of it, Dan Quinn is still the coach, AP is still going to be the person having to find the players in marriage, you know, whoever the host is and DC is, I mean, it's a, it's a very big tell that,
- 19:48[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people feel like Josh Connelly Jr. Apologize.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, not Apologize.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: Damn, I'm reading and talking at the same time.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_03]: But a lot of people feel like Josh Connelly Jr. improved as a student season went on.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_03]: And people would give credit to Bobby Johnson for that.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_03]: But overall, things just don't, they just don't.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: Mary each other for what DQ and Adam Peters want for this offense and it kind of brings instead of following where when Dan Clinton took the job and decided to hire Cliff King's Barry and and Laura and my way from Oakland he was like he's always admired Cliff's offense from afar they've never worked together really have no rapport and if anything DQ do cliff like a lifeline when it comes to NFL rings
- 20:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think he always would have been good from a collegiate standpoint.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: But from the NFL ranks, he got to make his office deemed credible in the NFL.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_03]: And when he was in Arizona, it was credible for one year.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_03]: And then after that, everybody's like, nah, this, this ain't it.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_03]: And it kind of,
- 20:59[SPEAKER_03]: For me, I feel like Cliff has been able to renew his status as a coach.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I think right now you're seeing the rumors.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, he's an ideal fit and Baltimore and no, that's what his agent hopes.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know, that that's what his agent is hoping and trying to push up the market because really.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_03]: prior to the release today, he only had been connected to two jobs, which was Tennessee, and I believe maybe the giants.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: So now if you add Baltimore instead of mixed with another athletic black quarterback, like that's just pushing up your client, especially when now John Hallball is involved in the process.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: There's no way someone is firing John Hallball and
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: So if that happens that my practice, but I don't believe it to happen, I just say all that to say that even having Anthony Lynn be the assistant head coach and the run game coordinator, the running game looked nothing like what the San Francisco 49ers ran.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_03]: And that is one of the main reasons why Anthony Lynn was brought in.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_03]: to help with that run game and help emphasize how they wanted to run the ball with Washington and Cliffs' offense and how he did it.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: That marriage never happened.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like Cliffs literally just ran the ball just to run the ball.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like it wasn't any...
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't any threat from a motion standpoint.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't any threat from a defense standpoint to force them to understand if it was a run or a pass.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_03]: It just was like, I'm just running the ball just for the hell of it.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 22:34[SPEAKER_03]: We just going to hit the A-gap.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_03]: Or it's going to be outside zone or a QB suite.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: Like it wasn't really any detailed attention to it.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like how you see maybe a Kyle Shanna had a Ben Johnson.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_03]: like those a shomig vee it was no marriage to it.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_03]: It was just for the hell of it.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_03]: So you're going to have certain punish that are drawn up these numbers like they ran at this clip whatever cool but what did that run game really look like?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I just feel like personally Jaden Daniels needed this to take place because we believe in him so much and he has potential
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: overall for the NFL standpoint.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_03]: He needed somebody that could make him have to learn the game in so many different nuances and challenge him to the next level because like you said mall, when he was at LSU, they had weapons.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: They had a Brian Thomas Jr., they had a Malik neighbors, like they had weapons for him to be able to threat the ball in between the numbers outside the
- 23:47[SPEAKER_03]: out the box like all all these different things in right now when you look at watching this offense the only person you scared of is Jayden Danes respectfully I don't I don't believe defensive court names are scared of tear McCoy even when he's on the field but who else are you who else scares you you scared of Benson you you you you scared of you scared of Benson it
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: You ain't scared of Bill.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: You ain't scared of Noah Brown.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like, there's no one to really threaten you.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_05]: So, I just feel like, yeah.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_03]: But I mean, I just, I say all that the same, man.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm happy that this change is being made.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just curious to see what's gonna be the final result.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: But like I said, I'll stand on the here on the show that,
- 24:33[SPEAKER_03]: I've been told from insiders on my end that Raheem Morris is a DC and Mike McDaniel is going to be the O.C.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll just see how that plays out from wrong, cool, but yeah, I just think that if you bring it of Mike McDaniel's offense to pair with Jayden and get him some real talent at the running back position and on the outside.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: What we're saying, what we're saying, rookie year, it's gonna look like, it's gonna look like nothing.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_03]: He's gonna be able to reach whatever limits, I mean, not limits, but whatever potential and ceiling that he has for himself.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_05]: Well, if you, that's why it's time.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_05]: They sign right here, Moore's Burr, just go ahead and point me to the leg.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_05]: But let me sit on the leg, I'll jump right off.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_06]: I've been a fit of doubt, guys, so I'll give him a chance.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_06]: But I just want to kind of go back to the conversation.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, hypothetically speaking, if Mike McDaniels is the office coordinator.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going back to the depot conversation.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know how where depot fits in that office.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_06]: I think Washington needs a guy that can really threaten the top of the defense.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_06]: Debo ain't that guy.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_06]: Debo fits with a Cliff King's very office because it's a lot of horizontal stuff in a Cliff King's very office, which depot grabs in that kind of kind of office where he gets the ball with the strings, he's getting the ball on hand, dogs, whatever the case may be.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_06]: But I think at this point, Jayden needs weapons and I'm talking about weapons that can threaten you down field.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_06]: and you've got a different office of coordinated coming in.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_06]: It could be Mike McDaniel, but whoever it is, most likely this is going to want to challenge teams down field and we're talking about a people saying a lot of wear and tail on his body is going to be another year older.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_06]: And I just don't see how he fits or where he fits when you're going in a new direction whether off as a coordinator.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_06]: Because again, I think you need a guy that can challenge you down field outside of the Terry McCoror.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: I think the biggest thing Dan Quinn needs is at coordinator position.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: Two individuals that he can really allow them to coach up their side of the ball and still be able to delegate like how he wants to.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like even I'm saying Matt Nagy is getting interview, but he doesn't want to call plays.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: How and why is Matt Nagy being interviewed?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_03]: To be a head coach, I don't know.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why you want him to be the CEO of your organization, but hey, it is what it is.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: But with Dan Quinn, he needs to be able to trust in those guys, especially going into year three, where it's make a break for his coachy career as a head coach that he can trust those individuals on that side of the ball to do their thing and with the relationship and the report that he has with those two individuals.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, a lot of people are saying they don't like Rahim Morris defense.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think that he's a flexible guy defensively And I know players go to bat for him I mean, I don't know who else you would bring it here DC wise I don't know if Jim shorts fits with with with DQ and personality I don't know if Brian Forrest ends up leaving Minnesota to come here like We're both getting it from Arizona I'm not a big Jonathan Gannon fan Like
- 27:34[SPEAKER_03]: That's just not somebody does it for me, but I mean, I just think that a lot of things are on the table until they're finalized, so we're going to have a bunch of discussions about the office inside the ball and defensive defense.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know how to say the guy you had mentioned drape before from the Rams, I almost want to call him a scholastic.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, remember, the scholastic first back in the family.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but I think it's like, I think it's like, scala half a year, something like that.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_03]: But you don't ask or something.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be somebody from the McVay, Shanna Handtree, bro.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's just what it's going to be.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to see, but let's go ahead and add some more quality to the conversation, man.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_05]: I, like I said, Rio is joining us today.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_05]: He is joining us right now.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go ahead and add up to the chat, most of you all know the guy, man.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_05]: So, everybody chat, man, say it was up to the good, man, Rio, right?
- 28:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it was up with the player.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_04]: What's going on with your, man?
- 28:44[SPEAKER_05]: I can't I can't call the bird you know it's a busy day, man You know you you did what like a two-hour stream or something like that I just be on there.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but yeah, and it's a type of day.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_04]: You got it.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I just got off the stream I'm gonna do another stream when I get over here.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: I y'all doing that.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, don't get
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: You know, well, you ain't have a shortage of topics to talk about, so that's who I was probably flew by, because there's a lot of things to cover in a lot of opinions and different intangibles being thrown out there, you know, we said, now I'm black Monday, but I'm black Tuesday, we came and we made waves today, they got both of the coordinators up out of there and a lot of conversations have to start now.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_05]: when they were smart because they they waited till after they got done speaking to say, you know, let's go ahead and let's go ahead and get rid of these guys now because we got to wait, they got to wait two weeks to talk to us or three weeks to talk to us when to see your bow come around.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_05]: So let's go ahead and not miss out when they when that we ain't got no questions to answer.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_05]: But real what's your like what's like kind of your main takeaway from
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: uh Cliff Joe with uh audit the the suffering that's going on right now between D.B.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_04]: Johnson with all this stuff.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_05]: It was, what's, what's, what's your main takeaway, bro?
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: I think the biggest takeaway has to be, this, in, the,
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: The biggest indicator of this is this indictment on Dan Quinn because Dan Quinn hired these guys Dan Quinn's one super power as a head coach as someone who delegates powers to his coordinators and stuff is it's not that we have a competitive advantage.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: He's not an exes of those guys.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_04]: He's a roster, he's a staff builder, you know, he's the guy that can bring in and hire a top tier staff one year three you've just got rid of the offensive and defensive coordinator that you brought in so all fingers and all microscopes have to be pointing back to Dan Quinn at this point you could be on your last legs as an NFL head coat so bad to choose wisely.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_03]: So, if it were up to you, Rio and you were in Dan Quinn's shoes, who would you like for this same in the, particularly a point as Office of Coronation, Def has a coordinator for the 2,026 Wasserman Committees.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: He's hiring Raheem Morris to coach this defense.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know who I feel like that's gonna be quick I'll be here by MLK day.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_04]: Raheem Morris is my predictor.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: You keep using all these black connotations.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_03]: Black Tuesday Martin Luther King birthday like damn bro talk to me.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's not even a word.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like he's a
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think I think it's gonna be right anymore, and I like Raheem more from him.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_04]: Morris can call defensive people get to Into how bad someone is as a head coach when it comes to just doing one specific job Raheem Morris cannot manage a clock.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_04]: He cannot handle head coaching task.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_04]: He can call a defense.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_04]: We've got to get him what he needs
- 31:50[SPEAKER_04]: Offensively, I want Jayden Daniels in a West Coast offense in a shed-and-hand style offense.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: I need Mike McDaniels, little dork ass to get fired from Miami because I would like Dan Quinn to break.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Quinn takes me as someone who has to hire someone that he knows already.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_04]: I don't see him thinking too far outside of the box.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_04]: If you're gonna go that route, please give me Mike McDaniel because he gave him his first big opportunity in this league.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_04]: and Mike McDaniel is not an NFL head coach.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_04]: The same thing with Cliff.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_04]: Those guys couldn't might get another opportunity to be it.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_04]: He's not an NFL head coach.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: He's just an offensive guy.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let him go fuck off and coach the quarterbacks and watch film.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: That's all they need to do.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_04]: They don't need to be trying to run a locker room full of grown men and all that.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_04]: But Mike McDaniel's offense is what I want to see jaded and then I want an offense that can marry the run game to the passing game and more a little more conventional because I think jaded is capable of doing all that and some of less gimmicky things I want to see jaded and just be an NFL quarterback and not be forced obviously his playmaking in his running ability we're always going to have to lean on that I don't want to have to over lean on it because we got to keep this boy upright
- 33:04[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you know, I was just gonna say, when you mentioned, I might make Daniel and something that's an underrated aspect when you think about a guy like that.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_06]: Not only does he bring what you want as an office of coordinator, but I think he also brings something else.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_06]: He also brings another guy with asked for talent on a team.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_06]: And Adam Peters needs that at this point, you need all the talent you can get because when you look at that Miami-Doff as office, talent all over, especially to run it back when I love their running back to receivers, they always find receivers, they get,
- 33:32[SPEAKER_06]: production out of the tight air room.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_06]: So that's something that makes me, and that's something that intrigues me because it's not only what he could bring from the office of Stamplings, bringing that talent evaluation and as we've seen with Adam Peters, he has that collaboration approach.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_06]: Cliff was able to get some of his guys in here.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_06]: We know he was able to get a Josh Connolly.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_06]: So I would love to see if he could bring from that, from a person to the old Stamplings.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_06]: But I just wanted to ask going back today, and Cliff
- 33:56[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, this is a make a break season for Dan Quinn, right?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you can't you cannot miss the playoffs, right?
- 34:01[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you're a pin you're real.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_06]: I think that he has to make the playoffs this year.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, we're talking about firing Dan Quinn after this year.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_06]: Do you agree?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's tough because
- 34:10[SPEAKER_04]: You just shelved both of your coordinators, year three of a young quarterback is the most crucial in their development because you know, there's always the first year then they talk about soft more slumps to soft more leaf by the third year you should be starting to put everything together as a quarterback in this league and then Quinn is in the position where potentially he's hiring someone while he could be a lame duck coat back to back as seasons and
- 34:36[SPEAKER_04]: You're talking about packing up Dan Quinn, a potentially Adam Peters, too.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_04]: These are huge decisions.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think people realize the critical nature of this offseason coming up.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_04]: If they don't get active and get busy, it could feel like the old days here really soon.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_04]: So Dan Quinn asked the locker, but I see people saying, oh, but.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_04]: He can't hire someone that could be viewed as his success.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: Man, we don't need to be worried about that shit.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_04]: We don't need to be worried about no shit like that.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_04]: We need to get good hires in here and people that can get us back to closer to what we look like in 2024.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's so the J&T conversation in all this is actually intriguing for me because
- 35:19[SPEAKER_05]: Shout out to Jerry and if you're watching, but I have a conversation with him on social media and something that really bothers me and it's not like you did it intentionally, but it's more so just like kind of people who say the same thing as a parenting information look man.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_05]: People change coordinators in systems often in their and their rookie contracts.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_05]: Like people aren't unfamiliar with things of that nature.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_05]: And I think when you think of several of some of the leagues best young quarterbacks, whether they're currently on their rookie deal or they were on their rookie deal, if you're a superstar or at least talent.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to overcome it.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_05]: It's like you are the system to some degree, right?
- 36:07[SPEAKER_05]: Like the coordinator is there to help you and help this offense be the best that it can be.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_05]: I think about.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_05]: Lamar Jackson, who went through like three different coordinators in his first four years, uh, hurts got one.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: I got a new one every year.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_05]: You say, who hurts has a new, oh, yeah, it's every year.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_05]: Jalen hurts, um, your boys, his, his man sees a shroud head, his boy for two years and then they fired him, um, slowing, they fired slow after two seasons, um, and he goes into a story year with, um, a different quarterback, a different
- 36:45[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, some other some other quarterbacks that's not all the top of my hair right now, but like some some quarterbacks go through these these changes a winner young and just a Herbert is another one, and I'm thinking of just a Herbert went through like three or four different coordinators and and like the talent overseas or super seeds these coordinators, though the coordinators are good and and where I'm getting it and insane all this.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_05]: I think the biggest change that Washington needs to focus on is going to be finding the elite or the superstar coach on the defensive side of the boat.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know who that is, right?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_05]: Like, with all the options that are available, I told, yeah, y'all know on the show, try for that.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_05]: I really, I really feel like I ain't more like that.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't know where Dan's gonna go, he can, he can do whatever he wants, but I know what I'm gonna do if he get right in.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_05]: And it's other people in that boat, but I know that's the comment that I'm gonna cause he just got fired.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_05]: So that's why I'm bringing him up.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_05]: But then, like, you just gotta find that superstar talent
- 37:52[SPEAKER_05]: coordinator on the defense side of the board.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_05]: Offensively, I just need somebody as you said, Rio, and as we said a couple of times on the show, I need competence.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_05]: You need to be good, but I need somebody who understands
- 38:06[SPEAKER_05]: the nature of the game, the flow of the game, somebody who can really pair a run game with a past game, but also like establish our identity, know how to use his weapons, and let's see where that takes us, we've jaded in the Superstar when we can have them in a controlled environment where we can make him succeed in this system, whatever that system is.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: But give me competence, but I need a superstar when they're defensive side of the boat.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_03]: on both sides of the ball you need some damn talent.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's hard to dial up any skin when you don't like anyone, when you lack people on the defensive side that can't win one-on-one.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_03]: So no matter if you bring in, the only way you can possibly do that and get around it, but you're making yourself more susceptible to giving up the big play as a Bryan Flores, where you're kind of always playing within the A-Gap and the Double Mug and stuff like that.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: But this team needs talent.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_05]: But here's one thing.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to make sure because I don't want the point that I was saying to get lost.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think the basis like the ground root if you're going because the substance for for Dan Quinn is I'm going to be here for the long term because I'm going to win.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_05]: I am like, this is his thought process, not like I'm going to fail.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_05]: So like, let me get the coordinator right, who can coach, who can develop, who can scheme up a defense, right, that's the first thing we need to do before we go in the free agency before we go into the dread and then let me find a talent.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm I'm with you AJ, like that's important, get the talent, like that's a stop here.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_05]: But the number one thing, if I'm sitting here thinking a long term in my future and I'm thinking about getting everything right.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_05]: I need to make sure that I get the right coaches in place that can do the job that I need then to do from a staff standpoint, and then we'll worry about the players, that's kind of where I'm coming from.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_04]: The other, I was going to say the y'all think that Dan Quinn has the autonomy to bring in another defensive coordinator with no experience calling defensive plays because the
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't think you can do it for the sake of his own coaching career.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I mean, if I'm the owner, if I'm Josh Harris, if I'm Josh Harris, I'm stopping because there's no no shit, but what they tell them.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: Bro, but I can't, I can't allow you, I can't allow you to go through this experiments.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the experience,
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: a game with a guy who's never called plays like I need you to have somebody in place especially there's a lot of decordinators with experience that have been good out there it's not like there's a lack of resources I mean Brian Flores has no contract no more
- 41:01[SPEAKER_03]: Jim shorts is out there if you want to throw in the Jonathan Ganon of the world You want to throw in raw him.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know there's so many different names or maybe you even feel comfortable with somebody else on your stuff But to say let's bring in how Harris to run the show defensively.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's like bro even how Harris is with Chicago They're not a great defense.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_03]: They turn over to ball at the high clip But most of the principles that our Harris is practicing as a DB coach
- 41:28[SPEAKER_03]: was learned from who, DQ and Joe with Jr., like Joe with Jr. Coach out here as he was a player for many of years in Green Bay.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_03]: So if that was the case, you might as well keep Joe with Jr. all the staff.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like I'm all for out here as being a position coach, don't get me wrong.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't think DQ in this situation, this scenario year three, I know we got some comments where it's like, it's a fan narrative that he's on the high seat.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's not.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: He's on the high seat.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_03]: He knows this.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: They know that, like AP knows that.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like it is what it is.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_03]: So these hires are particularly delicate because he wants to be an overseer.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't wanna call a place.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: So you gotta make sure whoever is your O.C or D.C.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: can replicate how you want to carry your team, your culture, how you want guys to attack the ball, whatever, and I just feel like at the end of the day, you still ultimately need talent, but
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's just he's going to go with who's who's comfortable with because I think he tried something different with a cliff king's bear they had no rapport on the office side like he just admire him from afar and even there's rumors that he wasn't even his first choice he wanted somebody else, but it didn't work out and he ended up rocking with cliff, but
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: when you even break down the coaching higher in process, after Ben Johnson, it was a toss of between DQ and Rahim for the job.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_03]: So even the organization from ownership standpoint likes Rahim.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_03]: I just felt like we don't know what's really gonna happen, but I see them leaning more on what he's comfortable with.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_03]: And if he were to go like an out here, I'd be like, what the hell?
- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like you might as well fire Dan Quinn and like, just doesn't make sense.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_03]: You might as well start this whole thing all over because if we had the report right now, let's say in the next five minutes while we're doing this episode live, out here has been higher as the DC for the Washington Commanders, what would your media reaction be?
- 43:37[SPEAKER_03]: You'd be like, what the hell would like,
- 43:39[SPEAKER_03]: What does he bring to the table?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_06]: I'm saying I need to say it down to the place.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_06]: I would think when it's still calling a beef is if you bring it out here, that's the idea.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_04]: That would that would concern me, but I would be a little excited too, though, because
- 43:52[SPEAKER_04]: And we didn't have experience doing it, but maybe that's a good thing, because maybe he don't got any bad habits yet that he needs to work himself out of, but and he's exciting.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_04]: He has an energy that I think fans would love.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_04]: We just don't know if he could do it yet.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_04]: We just see there's turnovers involved everywhere he goes and then you know who that sounds like.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_03]: Ben said it and Luke McAfrey.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'm just keeping it fun with you from a player perspective.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it sounds like.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: People are still waiting for Ben Senate to reach this ultimate level of tight end football that we've never seen before.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_03]: People are waiting for Luke McAfrey to route you up like Jamar Chase.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's never going to happen.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: Well, let's switch that right quick for a video there.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_05]: We'll get back to the coordination stuff.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, like, what do you think of two years?
- 44:46[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, feel free to judge the 2025 review class.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going, I don't care, judge away.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_05]: But what do you think about the first two draft classes of Adam Peters so far?
- 44:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think there's a lot of to be determined in these picks that we have so far.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_04]: That's why when everyone's like, we have to trade back from seven.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, pumpkin bricks, pumpkin, let's see who's on the board at number seven.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: Cause if someone really good is there, we should just stick and pick a really good player.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_04]: And having more picks don't mean necessarily.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to get a bunch of ballers because we had three second rounders and two third rounders in 2024 and there's a whole lot of mess out of those picks so far.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of to be determines out of the drive class.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_04]: Jaden Daniels, we know what Jaden is, we know what he's going to be.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: But after that, there aren't too many guys where you're like, just bonafide hit.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_04]: Josh Connelly turned up on the second half of his rookie year and he looks on track to be a pretty good starter at Wright Tackle.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_04]: Tray Amos looked really good early and like the rest of the defense started to regress because that defense just doesn't do anything good.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_04]: But I think I see enough to be excited about the promise of Tray Amos.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_04]: Mikey Sandra still can catch interceptions, but he terrifies me unless he's in off coverage.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_04]: Mikey Sandra's still in off coverage, signed me up.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: Mikey Sandra's still actually lining up with a wide receiver.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_04]: It don't even matter the wide receiver at this point.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's an advantage wide receiver every time.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: Ben Senate is not a tight end.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_04]: and never going to be a starting titan in this league.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_04]: He is John Bates Jr. That's what he is.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: And we took that in the second round.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_04]: Johnny Newton had a great game on Christmas.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_04]: I hope we could see more of that.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: I hope he's a starter.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_04]: That's what we want him to be when you take a guy with the 36 pick and a drive real comfortable with him being a starter going into the 2026.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_06]: Johnny Newton.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Johnny Newton.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_05]: No, but, I think he has to be, he has to be, though, like we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we,
- 47:25[SPEAKER_04]: at six top 150 picks bro, six of them.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_04]: And like the first round is the only thing we're sure about.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's not supposed to feel like that.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_04]: But then you didn't at least come out with three.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure about out of those groups, you know?
- 47:39[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_05]: And here's the one thing that bothers me, like understanding the state that we are in now in 2020, but our third season under AP and DQ.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_05]: You started off on the right track in terms of building through the draft like that was your philosophy and you supplemented through for agency and they chose and year two to really like go for it and and actually go the same really playing in terms of free obviously the same plan is is like go for these older veterans.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_05]: Um, you fucked up a lot more did you fuck that will add a more but the cost of this is you only have One now and it's up to me to now and it's up on hard you
- 48:34[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but I think what what really is important for Adam Peters because this is his season now.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_05]: It has a season that's officially begun.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_05]: Um, are you going to commit to the rebuild like, and what I mean by that is like, are we trading away more assets?
- 48:52[SPEAKER_05]: This this offseason or are we actually going to try to like stay committed to the draft.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_05]: He did acknowledge that if if they had opportunities to trade back in their pressure.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, they'll try to accumulate draft picks.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_05]: But my thing is, um,
- 49:08[SPEAKER_05]: And you're a couple years away in reality, defensively, like, you're gonna have to take those lumps.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: Like, because you're not gonna be able to replace every position on it, on it, on it, on all season.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_05]: You can do a good job of filling some holes, but at the same time, if you're looking for finding your core guys, that's gonna take some years to do so, but you gotta accept it.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's why, again, back to my original point, the coordinator makes a huge difference.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: Like, he's got it, you gotta get that part right.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and then offensively, um, I do think you can, you can find some superstars, uh, well, that's, that's, I shouldn't have said it that easily, but you can find some some top dollars to really to play with Jayden, um, is what I should say, but that's kind of where I'm at, like I think when you look at both sides of the boat, um, you're going to have to commit to a rebuild, um, and it's not to say that you start completely over is more so just like, understand where you are with your draft picks, don't get impatient.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_05]: And try to figure out what you can do with what you have.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_05]: But if you can trade back accumulate some, like see what you can do, but bottom on you, I hit on you, you got hit on your picks.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_05]: That's not what I think.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_06]: This is, this is the year when you really talk about what Dan Quinn used this term a lot in this first year.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_06]: This is probably the year you really sell me on a recalibration.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_06]: Not a rebuild, but literally our recalibration this year.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_06]: And I think about when I start with the defense,
- 50:28[SPEAKER_06]: You really just need to get to about the 18 to 22 to 23 range.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_06]: You just can't be in a bottom five range of a deepness because you put so much pressure on the office when your defense is so bad when you're talking about teetering towards that line of being historically bad, then you're talking about the bingles at that point.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_06]: You're talking about a team that defends no matter how good the offense is, they're going to keep you away from being a serious contender.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_06]: And that's what Washington is right now.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think watch to can go from 30 second or 31st on defense to a top 10 defense over tonight.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_06]: So you guys set some reason of what expectations.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_06]: I think if you can get to the 18 to 22 range and Jamie Daniels can stay healthy and be with Jamie Daniels.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_06]: Of course, you've got to sign a couple of weapons, get them a couple of guys, and you can be an explosive office with a healthy, Jamie Daniels that if he gets it.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_06]: If he has the right coordinator, you can have an explosive office and with a serviceable defense, I think you can be right there in that playoff hunt again next year, but you just can't be really bad.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_06]: You know, and then when you talk about the draft, as far as that goes, I mean, you have what six picks this year, but they're not only two top 100 picks.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I don't love to be able to trade down if you're able to do that because we desperately need more picks, but when you look at the last two drafts, the first year's draft, then we're all starting to question that draft, but the second year's draft, I think they kind of made the most of this draft in a sense.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_06]: I think you'd definitely find a book in tackle or write tackle in Josh Connelly that's going to probably start for years.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_06]: Trade aim was right now as of this moment to me.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_06]: He looks like the most promise of player on your defense.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_06]: At least the one the one build a block going forward.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_06]: And then Jaylin late now.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we have some questions about him as of you know, an office of player.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_06]: But I think you have an elite returner in the jaylin lane.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we don't know what we have in a game in Toronto.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we didn't see him pretty much at all.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_06]: But you know, we won't see him.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_06]: Probably not.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_04]: But he was playing with player.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_06]: probably for all the time.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_06]: Last beat, David, I don't know if you got to play it in your football.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_06]: But Bill outweighed his value as a several round player.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_06]: So I think you really did good when you talk about what you did in those limited picks.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, for some people, you could probably go back to that first year and say, man, I don't think that a piece of draft or last new mark.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think he's that's the final talent.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_06]: But then you look at that second year you say, man, they did make a lot out of a little bit with that draft.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_06]: And you hope that you see more of that going forward.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_06]: You hope that those guys don't have the regression that you've seen in some of the guys had that first year.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_06]: But again, just get to that range, at least a certain reasonable expectations for this upcoming year.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't think you're necessarily going to be a bad team that you can hit some of those marks.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_05]: one one thing and y'all got real and AJ I got a new y'all and you speak yeah I'm gonna roll I was that's what I was going I was trying to speak before you you got a little bit further uh Drey I ain't went no bottom third like they ain't got to be it's impossible if they bought it's gonna boot up
- 53:18[SPEAKER_04]: Hell no, they just got to be opportunistic if they flipping the field then that's another thing But yeah, just being 19 like that's just that that's just not going to get it Yeah, I'm not I was burned, but I would How do you do that when the world season?
- 53:32[SPEAKER_06]: How do you get the top 10 in one off season with this guy right now?
- 53:37[SPEAKER_05]: I'm I'm Third you and that's that's ass again.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_05]: You ask again Hey, what are you right now?
- 53:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like big shot, like big shot, one said.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's,
- 54:02[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, it's unfortunate that you don't have any like building blocks defensively, I think, you know, real test on Tray Amos, I thought he was solid, but overall, you know, what can you do with Mikey?
- 54:19[SPEAKER_03]: Because he's not a nickel, and he's not outside pulling the starting.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_03]: So what?
- 54:24[SPEAKER_03]: What do you do with Mikey then with giant new and he can't take on double block double teams so it's like What do you do there like you really don't have any building blocks from a defense standpoint so for me I feel like free agency is gonna actually be more important for this team than the draft So with that being said in real you being all guests
- 54:46[SPEAKER_03]: How would you build out this team from a projection standpoint free agency and also draft because you you you do this every other day you film me So it is soon as something happens.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_03]: I get a YouTube alert Rio Robinson is live you film me like it could be one the morning some happening at 12.58 Rio going live.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: So how would you I know you've already
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: In visiting this in your head, how would you attack the offseason from a free ages standpoint first and then from like a defense I mean not defensive but from a draft standpoint knowing that you have just like a first round in the third round pit and some other stuff.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_04]: We can't be afraid to spend money like I know folks was not trying to hear APS today when he was on that Oh, it's hard to give long-term deals to people you don't know.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_04]: I see fans crashing out like Oh, he's about to go bargain shopping again.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_03]: I was I was crashing out because I was like who says that like bro Wait, what are we talking about?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we can't like I'm telling you bro.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying you need to act like black folks during taxis and but you know We can't here you go with the black people some again.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, bro Let my people go Hey, we gotta we can't be out here trying to EBT all way through free agency bro.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_04]: We gotta actually
- 56:10[SPEAKER_04]: target.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying go Vinny Sorato by every top name free agency and there's not just super stars growing on trees but we can't be afraid to actually aggressively pursue free agents with this team because you know they'll
- 56:25[SPEAKER_04]: The approach it seemed like we'll throw our hat in the ring for some of the up there free-age it targets But then we just go back to what we do you know like we we give Javan Ken law a big deal on the first day of free-age You see which fans hate it and we weren't really in the mix for too many other well They throw our hat our hat in the ring like Washington's in on Javan Holland and then we never heard it again
- 56:49[SPEAKER_04]: It feels like AP just be our penny-pinching dude.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_04]: We don't offer anybody anything.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_04]: Remember, Mr. Oh, yeah, just that way.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_04]: Like, Kendrick Bourne, like, you know how big of a need that ended up being this year that we didn't lock in to deal with Kendrick Bourne.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_04]: We plan Robbie Anderson in the game that I love in 2025.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_06]: Chris Moore is a stock in my favorite.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_04]: Chris Moore is the, he's inevitable, bro.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_04]: He always found his, I need him to not be on the roster next year.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_04]: He's the Kendrick Ghosts in the privacy.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_04]: He's a bunch of guys on the defense, but I also think we need to go sign a starting tight end and potentially a starting running back to split with in contrast with Bill.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_04]: we can go talk to Kenneth Walker and Breeze Hall in the company in the agency and ETA go talk to them.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you don't necessarily gotta sign up.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_04]: Go let me know that y'all are trying to give Jay to everything he needs.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_04]: We don't have a starting Titan.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's a good Titan drive class.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_04]: It's a good Titan free agent class of a bunch of guys don't get franchise tag, which I don't expect.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_04]: Go get one, don't look me in my face and tell me, Ben's Senate John Bates and Colson, you ain't go off, we're gonna compete for the starting job next year.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: That piss me off.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know much at all, but how would you feel if they tried to sell y'all Ben's Senate is tight in one next year?
- 58:24[SPEAKER_05]: real.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_05]: I heard enough in his press yesterday when he when he gave all the endorsement that he could have been sent it and not lie about it.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_05]: He said he said been sent it is developing will.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_05]: He's done some great things and I think we can do more.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_05]: Like if that's not as honest, that's as honest as you can get without saying, you know, I don't think he'd do too much too, too well.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think he'd do anything good.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_05]: He gave endorsements to John base, called him one of the best blockers.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_05]: He said, coaching ankle off can do it all.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_05]: And to the day, that ought to tell you, you need more in that position.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_05]: So give me some of that.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_05]: I say it likely to a Chicago Conquo.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_04]: And I know and I know they were the straw when Zach Irts got hurt because you know They was bringing his ass back.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_04]: You know they was bringing his ass back to start for us again So they don't have to go fill that position, but now there's guys out there I say a likely cow piss if he doesn't get franchises on by the focus, but I feel like it'll be they gonna make a pit
- 59:28[SPEAKER_04]: If they do what they did the last two years, you know what they're going on, Tyler Conquin.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_04]: That's going to be a tight end.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's going to be a real dose.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_06]: Don't you hope that the new whoever the new office coordinator is and like I looked back to the monthly Daniel Congress and you know, that they have some say in this, you know what I mean?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_06]: Because this is going to be the office that they run and you will hope that, you know, Adam Peters and their Dan Clinton, look at, you know, they they at least value this person's opinion.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_06]: like, he may come in and be like, man, I can't use a 40-year-old Zach Irxon team anymore.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_06]: I don't even like Ben Sine.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I mean, I would hope they're able to go away if he stayed in front of Adam Petersburg.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_05]: I would lose it.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_06]: they need to have these honest conversations in the interview process when they when when Adam Peters is interviewing whoever this office coordinator is when Dan Clinton is in the nose interviews.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_06]: What do you think about the rocks?
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_06]: What do you think about this guy?
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_06]: And they need to have those aren't they need to value those opinions of these guys?
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_06]: Why do you say a guy might come in and they're like, I can't use Ben Senate.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_06]: job based cool block and tight and fine but we need a real tight and we need a real run about blah blah blah blah but I just hope that whoever this new office accordingly is they value his opinion and listen to it and they don't take you know any kind of you know feeling any kind of way about about it if they don't like somebody's guys maybe it is what it is
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_04]: I would like our new coordinators to have seen the person now and in the staff like if they come in and be like not I don't want any of the guys you got in the building already cool it'd be like that sometime you show the coordinators it's collateral damage at that point yeah a real so who we had to pick number seven who would you drive Caleb Downs or David Bailey?
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_04]: There we go.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_04]: Those are, and Ruben Bane, I throw him in the mix as well.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_04]: Those are the three players I'm looking at at number seven.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not looking at too much other than that right now because I think Caleb Downs, I think Caleb Downs top two player in the whole class.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_04]: I think Caleb Downs is the best possible pick you could make it seven, but I also know that we have possibly the worst edge room in the league and David Bailey, we need that on a different level.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_04]: Like we are starving in that edge room.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_05]: Um, shout out the Chris Bryant, uh, big though, you know, I think to get about you.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_05]: I saw what you posted real Robinson should be the commander's new, and that would be a mislead.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_05]: It's, it's funny.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_05]: It's funny.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_05]: It's funny.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_05]: It's funny.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_05]: You got a crystal book.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm not sure.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it's lovely today.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_05]: They like, you're the one that you're doing.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_05]: Um, a man, what's on the slate for for real, man?
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_05]: I, I, I, I, this kind of felt like a primer conversation.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_05]: We probably probably got a circle back when we get some more substantial moves.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, hey, I mean, I hate coach coordinators.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, maybe the start of free agency.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_05]: We could tap and see how it's going.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_05]: We could chop it up and see how you think about what's on the slate.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_05]: What's on the media slate for real?
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_04]: Man, just anytime something comes out.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm around man.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_04]: I be in the house.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm being outside and this is what I do now So I say it's what I yeah, this is what I this would I've been doing for about 18 months now Man, this is what I do for work so and everything comes out.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_04]: I'm around to hit go whenever news comes out Man, if y'all need me, let me know
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_04]: and I will be covering every bit of the coaching search, free agency, drive, collab, and we got the channel, the Commandous Kings with me, Louis T, street scores, and Ed Oliver over there.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_04]: Just yapping, bruh, that's what I do.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then we got a pencilian for February 1st, you know, the first day of Black History Month.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_03]: You know, four black guys talking commandments football to kick off black history move coming on with a kofi and maybe maybe you got a black O.C.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, by racial and Mike McDonald maybe got black D.C. and Ryan Moore's I'm with it man.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm with it man.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_04]: What's all I need to know all of y'all separate reaction would have
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_04]: Promote Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_04]: I need all of your reactions to that
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, bro, you know, it's a certain thing.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_05]: It's a super powerful thing.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_05]: It's a certain thing.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_05]: It's a super painful, bro.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I don't even, like, it's so crazy because Brian Johnson 10 year in Philly went so bad for one year, like, from an actual, like, a perception standpoint.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_05]: I'm over here.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_05]: And she said, but like, it's just went so bad.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, he was cool when his name wasn't like Reagan in Washington.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_05]: Like, he was just in the, in the weeds, because he was a system.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know where I probably, I told you this, it's probably similar to my hand, like point me to the ledge, I'll just walk white off.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_05]: Point me to the ledge, bro.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_05]: Let's start.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I think when it's days, that's what we do.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think, I think for me, I don't love this ever happening, you guys.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_03]: Y'all ever walked into like a, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_03]: a sea through door, glass, like you ever walked into like a sliding glass?
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, at a grocery store, at a department store, even in your crib?
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's where it would be like written in the head that my crib, AJ.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I said department store, you can go outside the best buy.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like, like, I, I, I, I know I don't want this to the glass at best buy before, like, accidentally, like, that's what it would be like for me.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_03]: I, I mean, that would be,
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_03]: there would be assinant to move on from cliff, whether it be mutual, I don't believe any of that jargon, to then hire Brian Johnson would be insane.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't been able to see the news while we've been on here, but a lot of people have been saying, you know, David Blow was interviewing with the lines, real silver for the OC job.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like, if you were even a consider someone internally, it would have to be that guy.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_04]: You've got to say, why did they give Brian Johnson the assistant head coach title?
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yes, I think it just, it had to make sense from like a many standpoint in the release from the from the Eagles or however, I can't remember if he was still in the contract, that might have been the case why they did the, they were allowed to get permission to interview
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because he would be getting the sister head coach out, but I mean, at the end of the day, I think that the officer side of the ball, the side of the people that Cliff brought in, like a day of blow, a lot of it didn't marry with what Cliff does.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like it wasn't really his guy's on the side ball.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't seem like he really got to bring in anybody.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_03]: I mean Bobby Ingram is still the wildest serious coach.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_03]: They've a bow and that's it to be a pressure was Eric B. enemy's guy that he brought him when he took in the O.C.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_03]: job.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_03]: So who did Cliff really have on the office side of the ball that was one of his guys outside of they've a bow.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody does that mean does that mean that the new whoever the new office according to the he is?
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_03]: Does that mean we're possibly seeing the shift of a lot of the office of coaches, we're already seeing the Yeah, I think so I think I think Brian Johnson loses because his passing game does not correlate with if it is If it is like a West Coast game if it is a Mike McDaniels a lot of things are going to change and I think that's why they're trying to get this done sooner than later Just so those guys can have opportunities to to land on their feet
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_03]: in the collegiate reigns or professional ranks.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_03]: Cause I feel like some people in the fan base feel like, yesterday when they did that presser, they didn't know what direction they were going to go at OCDC, no, they've known this for a month and a half where they were going.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_03]: This is not happening overnight.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_03]: And those conversations have already been brewing.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you hear Adam Schefter said, since John Hall-Ball has been released, he's been contacted by 17's and is only six openings.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so let your mind wonder who that other team is you feel me like it's just a lot of Domino's is gonna fall in place But I think before we get out of here really though you do a great job with that shock in news before we got on Who do we think the the Ravens higher as their head coach with and Cliff being kind of the name that's being tossed around with Lamar, but who do we think ultimately get that job to run the show?
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_04]: Love Clif, not a chance in hell, the Baltimore Ravens hire Cliff King's Barrier after moving on from John Hall, Barbara.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_04]: They were contenders for the last 17 years, bro.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_04]: What a run he had there.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_04]: This is one of the biggest, and best openings that we've seen in recent memory and possibly like, this is a really good, the Baltimore Ravens are one of the best run organizations in the entire NFL.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_04]: What do I think they go?
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think they go to Jesse Mentor or someone like Brian Flores.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_04]: I think they're gonna either go to the young, the young up and coming, God, that they've had, like related to their guy before Jesse Mentor or I think they go Brian Flores or something like that, but man, what a job that is.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_04]: I think hard balls in the division though, I think he's more of a giant.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_06]: Um, you have to get some improvement.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think you can go to young Robert of Baltimore, team, because you're not rebuilding.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_06]: You have to get someone that is, I might run.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_06]: Brown will be a great choice.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, but you also, they possibly could stay with the division to they may give Stefansky a look.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I just don't think Stefansky had the quarterbacks.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_06]: And Cleveland, I mean, you gave him a broken to show in Losin.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_06]: You gave him a couple of late, round quarterbacks to go out there and say, make something happen with.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_06]: I think he would be a good person.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_06]: He would be a good person.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_06]: He would be a good person.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_06]: He would be a 40-year-old Joe Flacco.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_06]: You didn't really have much to work with, I mean, you could look that way.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_06]: You could even look the coffee right there.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I personally like Northern Dame San Coach, Marcus Freeman, as an officer for the Baltimore Ravens.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_03]: The Beijing Bandit.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_05]: It is that Beijing or is it actually your opinion you know what it is you on that uh that Jalen Brown ship I thought it was a hair unit.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_04]: It should be dripping bro like that shit looks shiny bro He looked like venom.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_05]: It's hair look like the venom right got symbiote to me
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_05]: Um, y'all know what it is, bro.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_05]: I got the the second the second show coming up, but real man.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_05]: Like I said, if you're going to spend the blood when we get some more information coming out, uh, for everybody that's trying to figure out if you knew the real man is his title is in the show title, uh, always check in with real.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_05]: When you get a change, man, like you said, he does this all the time, any breaking news.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_05]: Go to the channel.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_05]: tap in real real man you'd be safe fellas we do we're working on the guest we're going to time Thursday so we'll be back Thursday potentially 90% chance a money in company and then all 32 is back tomorrow
