- 1:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know, last time we talked, we were looking for a defensive coordinator.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_03]: We're still in that same boat.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: uh watchers in has not made any moves on that side of the ball, essentially.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but since we've last talked, you know, I'm sorry, pause.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: You know, hi, I'm going.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, man?
- 1:52[SPEAKER_03]: I talked down a couple of days.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's good man.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: MLK day, man.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's the ball day, national championship today.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: We got to go back to work tomorrow.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just getting my mind right with some sports on this day.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_03]: Mike's a little nanny tonight, you know, I was gonna be a good one.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go in and have a pretty minute.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I put some money on the end already.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_03]: Ben, I have a 40 minute half time.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_03]: I know that much, bro.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, please, no.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I don't remember, I ain't wanna lie to y'all.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think, uh, now granted, they put, they put this up to seven, it looks like $7.45.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_03]: This is, oh, you should start it like, not a clock.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: I know, bro.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad it started early, that'd be tired.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm saying.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_03]: And then you got the 30, 40 minute and a half times.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_03]: I don't remember it like those nine o'clock, eight, 30 Jones.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not, I don't make it all the way through.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_03]: I can't, I can't like the tail end on ESPN or Spship.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: 30 minute, half time, what are you talking about?
- 2:49[SPEAKER_03]: No, you know what I mean?
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: For a college time, it sounds our longest ship.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: Hey.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: Well, for the least of the championship in the playoffs.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you're going to watch a whole video on YouTube, and then come back and they just started
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm good, I'm just hoping for a style of game, a competitive game, just being able to look at some possible NFL prospects, which is being an especially massive door, massive doors one of my favorite past pressures.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think that, uh,
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Even, you know, us doing trapper dive so much focus is on who you want to take with the seventh overall pick.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: But as we sing over the weekend, it's guys that have been taken top 10 in the draft and didn't necessarily pan out in their original places like a cave on a chasin or whatever.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: How do you say his name?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: He got drafted probably number 7 from Jacksonville.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: uh... didn't work out there ended up going uh... the raiders now he's blossoming into you know where you can see his first round life potential uh... yep setting it i said chase him to yeah chase young i mean just even from the week the new hunter like the world's the second round pit
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: uh... uh... didn't help to the men assault right yeah i couldn't for that uh... uh... uh... it's not always about getting that first round it's just about making the right them that's really what is about and putting them in the right situation so i think tonight
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: be able to see, you know, one of the guys the same conversations with Rubin Bang.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: And, yeah, just see how he handles going against... Well, you are not a fan of, right?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: AJ, you are not a fan of being.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a fan of Bang, but not a difference in.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he could be a very impactful, and detackle.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Really whipping the right situation.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just don't like to sort arms, like,
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: I personally got a preference of how life my players and I just think that it's arms a way too short.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's one thing to be that stature and have long arms.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say like an Elvis Dumerville or Miller, whatever the case is, but you don't have long arms.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just think that that's going to be a bit of a challenge transitioning to the NFL rings.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: But you know,
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's just it's just thing that I'm about that we're about to watch Miami go against Indiana and the National Sandwich Like that's gonna be that's gonna be fun.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: We're like because I think like for me.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: I look at that game Appreciate buying the chat with some months.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, money some sort of trappers Brow.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: I look at
- 5:54[SPEAKER_03]: Both of these teams and I have like a route they have I just had deja vu.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: This is actually insane Okay, I look at both these things, right?
- 6:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I actually have a route and interest for both sides Like I think I said this a thousand times before they're like I'm gonna underdog that like I love underdogs and Indiana as they've been a terrible Collegiate program forever
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: And like the last two years, they've been on fire.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_03]: They haven't lost at all this year.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: I will love to see them go 15 and up.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like that will be lovely.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think like the work that they put in a head coach here though I don't know exactly like what his Prospects would be like on an NFL level, but he said he never wants to coach an NFL Yeah, I'm about to say for what he does I don't know what his projection would be if he went to the NFL level because like what he does on the college Love you know it it doesn't always translate like people on one level here
- 6:54[SPEAKER_03]: can hear your message differently than the people on another level.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: But like what he's done there is incredible.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: And look at Miami.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: And like, Miami, I always having the 54.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: I actually, if there was one PWI, that was going to go through.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: It was that school, it was Miami.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: But good reason, it's a beach.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know about her back then, though either.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I was from a high school, like I just led Miami, University of Miami, I'm from all of these reasons.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_03]: And it was really like, at that point, it was like, do football, but like, now they're back in it, like just from an actual competitive standpoint.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: So like, they're a literal underdog in this game.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: So I love both aspects of the game.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: about 50 minutes, I put a little, put a little playing, but um, yeah, we got the many, we got Kirk Customs like, you know, in Indiana and I'm still thinking of who Carson Beck won't be Brett, but like, I can't help but think of anybody other than um, David's meals.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was good.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see with Carson back, but like as we know, you know, my
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: been like the school I wanted to attend, all these different things or whatever, my and me never had no top like NFL prospect quarterback prior to can't work.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: You've only like, I mean, Jim Kelly came out of there some years ago, but I mean, Ken Dorsey wasn't no.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: no top NFL prospect like anybody else and I feel like Carson back kind of fits that bill.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think with this you get to look at Scott the the nickel corner from Miami you get to look at Malachi Tony who's the freshman who's the freshman but you know who continue to be able to blossom and you see the different ways that he gets utilized.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: They got Fletcher over there running back.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: They also got Francis, my uga who's gonna get drafted top 10 as an offensive tackle, but And you know, they're their main thing that they've been able to hit home on as they defense is relentless When you paired Bane and and Master Dora together along with that back in I just think that we're looking to see an exciting game And I can understand why Indiana coast doesn't want to
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: being an NFL rank.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's he's pretty much preaching to these kids like being the underdog.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: You feel me?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: And like a lot of these guys weren't four or five star players.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of them are trans with some from James Madison.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like a lot of them were guys that didn't work out at at previous schools such as Mandosa.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: He was at Cal.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, now he's, it's like a storybook right in man.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Boy about the N.H. is a collegiate career plan back home at the crib.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: I guess the school that he, he rooted for he helped to play for in Miami.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like if Indiana was the, the Naddy, that's, that's the, it's a win win for both organizational organizations at this point.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's just amazing that, you know, Indiana has been able to put themselves in this situation.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: the reward of NIL.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think nowadays a lot of people are focused on the negatives because players are getting paid or entering the portal and stuff, but the positive is now is really an open market for teams to be able to compete.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're gonna get the best coach in here like 90 my bread and I need that opportunity No, it's like, yeah, some people scared of that grit And yeah, we now in luck of seeing two organizations get to new heights Because Miami band out of it for a minute Indiana ain't been in this boat ever
- 11:17[SPEAKER_02]: But also this is the beauty of expanding to a 12 team playoff system college football because you don't sometimes get these type of teams to get up to this level like what was Miami like a number of seven see number 10.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: No, it was like like 11 or 12.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: But they were like, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: J.M.U.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: and fucking who the other face that easily though, they had no business.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: I just can't forgive the voters for not there's not a J.M.U.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_03]: was like rank 14 or 13 as one thing that was 25.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's an easy fix like to me they shouldn't have been in it and you could easily not put them in a situation like this.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_02]: This this is what it should have been years ago.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: My Florida State Simon also robbed the land.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm on this land.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: But get Florida State was robbed a couple of years ago just because Jordan Travis got hurt and they had a hell of a season that year and we don't get the benefits of going to the playoffs that year.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you are 100% right once again, but what happened when you're a play Georgia in that bold game.
- 12:30[UNKNOWN]: Bye!
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: keep it man, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 12:53[SPEAKER_03]: That was probably like the easiest point spree anybody could do it.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I didn't take it because I was a bitch All right, uh, let's before me.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we don't like we got coaches like assistant coaches Let's you know, let's talk about that and let's let's talk about the playoffs after that Close out on a was going on in the playoffs.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I mean, we stayed they promoted Washington did
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: from within David Blau and Washington filled out their offensive line staff, essentially promoting what's their names.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_03]: Darnell Stapleton.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: He was a system online coach.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: He's now their office of line coach.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: And Shane Taubh, who was another office of line coach, or quality control, quality control.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: Now he is the assistant line, assistant office of line coach now for Washington.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: So that solves the two areas for the office of line.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and in essence, if I'm not mistaken, uh, these two guys are having like their first role, their, their first experience in this role right now and blouse offense.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think it's interesting from this, I think this is a different standpoint.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_03]: Uh,
- 14:23[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have, I'm in different, I'm still in different in terms of like, what to expect out of a David, Blow and what this means and things that nature, I don't like, I'm not formulated in a thing.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm in observing, I'm in observing mode, just watching things play out.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think for Washington to like, lean on
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: internal hires so far outside of DJ Williams I think he does come with some experience obviously he's moved around.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think that's a big deal.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I do think it's interesting for them to lean on their internal hires with the caveat or understanding that they didn't want cliff here.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_03]: So like, they made these decisions kept essentially everybody except for two people,
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and Cliff is the is really the only person out.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_03]: You still have Anthony linear round.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: Um, uh, uh, uh, do from Philly.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think Brian Johnson, like that's your experience right there.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so like it's I wonder like just how.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_03]: much of an issue, it was solely just on an individual as opposed to like, they don't think there's anything else that should be like adjusted, corrected, fixed with the offense of staff to help get this offense in a more consistent or consistent way or finding like that identity that they actually truly need on that side of the football.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think the biggest thing that I take away from it is you hired a guy to be O.C.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: that's never called plays before, right?
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: Whether it be from a high school level collegiate level, professional level, he's only been coaching for two years.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're seeing the ramifications of that person's lack of relationships around the league.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: The only relationships he would have are
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: they're already in the building so like for example the office of my coach he's been in in communication and been rooms with him just because they shared the same spaces for the last two years you know he's been he's been like the assistant behind Bobby Johnson Olaan was and now you know
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: who, who can he really look forward to to hiring?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: We ain't been, you don't had a relationship.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where it's like, you still wonder what's going on with the Anthony Lynn and Brian Johnson situation because there has to be some type of dope there on that side of the door.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: like, and when I say that, I just mean from like someone that has like some type of resume, some type of background to help them throughout the week and game planning and all these other farmer details to call him plays.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, even the the guy that brought in to be the quarterback's coach.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: somebody that, you know, I think they cross paths, maybe in like the XFL or AFL or something like that.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he just doesn't assist the quarterback's coach right under the DJ believes.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, that's just, but yeah, that's just, that's just another relationship that's thrown out there.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think it's easy to bring in, maybe DJ Williams.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's not to take away from his, you know, credibility and his job, but I mean, Doug Williams is
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: a very visible part of the organization not just from, you know, a presence of what he brought to the organization back in the day, but he's heavily involved in a lot of decision-making and business opinions.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I was just kind of disappointing.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: that maybe I thought that they might even go after the Falcons office alignment, you know, who just became a high free agent in that position coach.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: Opportunity with Bill Callahan, gonna take that job.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I don't think this really much you can learn from it.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, hey,
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see what really happens with Anthony Lynn and Brian Johnson because those are the only two season vets on that side of the ball that have like a long tenure of being in the mix of like calling plays or
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: or whatever, I mean, Bobby Ingram, the YBC was cause you'd call a place for Wisconsin back in the day, but yeah, it's just kind of like, who's really going to make up this staff that David Blow can truly lean on, that's my main curiosity, because I don't have any information on
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Staples in.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't have any information on what's got to it.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_03]: He's it on top, Shane top or two.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, won't have no information on that guy.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just, that's where it just gets a big concern like damn who, who could, who can he really lean on?
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then you see,
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: Mike McDaniel did not get the, he didn't take the Detroit job.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: They are drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew, drew
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because then then it's like, man, maybe you could have just waited like, I don't know, that's just my personal opinion Yeah, I mean Looking back on it.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean again, if you wanted to David loud didn't
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: You don't wait because you are probably scared that Detroit probably steps in a higher thing.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: But again, you just have to be right.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's okay and this is who you wanted this to even believe in.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: You just have to be right about it.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: So it's only one way to find out.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why none of us really have opinions on this because what can we really say?
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know them like they know them.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_02]: But even with them knowing them, they don't know what the results are going to be.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know how fast he's going to get this thing off and running.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, as far as the position coach hires that today announced with the office of Lancashows, I think it was more surprising than me that you hire from within there when you fire Bobby Johnson.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: To me, I must say that there must be some kind of conflict or something that clashed with the rest of the coaching and Bobby Johnson, because I thought when you fire him,
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: You're looking to probably change the philosophy of what you were doing, but you just hired this assistant.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Then that's not to say they won't change the philosophy because who knows what David Blow comes in with, or who knows how drastically he changes the office.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: But it just surprised me a little bit that they kind of stayed within house of that.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: But I guess the own and character thing I could take of him because again, we don't know these guys either, staple 10 and top.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them guys did play office a lot, like in college.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, staple 10 are to keep playing the NFL or he might have played college,
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: Both of these guys were a former office alignment, so they should know something about teaching, and they've been around the game low enough, and I know top has the office of quality to troll that crowd, which is, you know, for a lot of people that don't know, these are the guys that really help with the preparation for each game and game plan, helping the coaches game plan.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: So they must think something of him to kind of give him a little bit of an elevator role, but again, going back to the blouse,
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a wait and see thing, but like I said, I can't cry too much or speak too much about waiting on McDaniel because who does know what McDaniel situation is as far as he takes another job and that.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: But again, if you believe in a David loud, then you had to make the move when you did, which makes me think, well, I say it from the beginning that you already had to know clips or placement when you got rid of clip because you don't sit around and you're dumb as waiting for an office of coordinated.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like you can do that, but the deepest of coordinated because those guys don't really go as fast and as the office of guys do, especially if you think you got one, but for that office aside at the football, you had to know the direction you were going in immediately.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: They hired a David Blow pretty quickly, not long after.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it was maybe two or three days after they got part of ways but Cliff, he was named as the Office of Coordinates.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: So that tells me that they knew that this guy was how that list, they thought highly of him.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: We as fans, we don't know about him.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: They ended up, they just about being right out in that matter of the process.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think, um,
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: The first thing I did I just went to some reporters tweets and looked at the comments just for like a general view point and perspective from the fans and a lot of people just want to know like Yo, what's the vision here like what's the plan and and I think it's a fair question, but I also think it's too early like I think what was important right now for Washington side
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: not us, but for watching side is like, and I always say this actually, even with the latest coach, like I said, look, if I understand what you're doing, I'll give you the road like you do your thing.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like if this is what you want to make that trade back to get X amount of picks, okay, let's see what you do with these picks.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_03]: If you ain't want to take that star player at 11 or wherever we pick that draft and you want to move back, okay, let's see what you do with these picks.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: Um, if you want to move on from such a such or if you want to transition to, um, a different coordinator, I'll see what you're saying, but let's, let's see what happens.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: I get like I get if I understand your plan.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I think, um,
- 24:30[SPEAKER_03]: for Washington, they're going with these people that they trust and that they know for a couple of years, maybe even longer, and they're giving these guys opportunities.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_03]: And experience, which is a big deal, but they're giving them opportunities.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_03]: They know way more than what we do.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_03]: So like if that's the right thing to show us to go,
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you make it your big and maybe maybe about the end of the season the Nessu season but all these things is When we look at that baby like that you did a pretty good damn job Yeah, or you can look at that genre to be like
- 25:08[SPEAKER_03]: What the fuck was you thinking like it can really only go one or two ways and and like if you go if you end the season Like in the middle of the pack or like middling where you really still going to another season when you don't have any answers You just is you just worse off the way you started if you had no answer or no direction Yeah, well, I mean it can go either either way, right?
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's 50 50, but if it goes the negative way the whole place is getting light you film me
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then like even we got a comment here from a black mall is like to sit here and think that David Blow has three years insane.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: All he got to do was show him in year one that he could do the job and he's off to be a Han Coast somewhere.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't like I'm gonna let you finish, but there's just one thing because Even so I mean they had two to three years with us before you left
- 26:03[SPEAKER_03]: But some of the things that are going to be the old theater, like, you just, I don't know what you say, Dre, and what do you say?
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: I will say, I said, Charlotte, they kind of changed the trim because at the time when even Sean McVega had about a frames, people thought that was a risky as hell, moved to get somebody that young.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're getting younger and young, and I think teams are trying to catch that next fight, lightening in a bottle, and Sean McVega was that lightening in a bottle.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: What did you say?
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I thought it was wild and not new, Sean.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: And Sean was cool, like you're filming me.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, nah, bro, like that's crazy.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just like all it takes is one person and it changes everything.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, you got the Jaguar's OC, who's what?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: 32, 33.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably gonna get one of these jobs.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, how many jobs are available still?
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, we know the Falcons.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: The offense is hard.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're head coach.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: Giants hard.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're head coach.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: So you still got the tight.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: Giants.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: Giants.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_03]: The offense hired.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_03]: So it's three.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_03]: That's off the board.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_03]: Bill's Ravens Steelers.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: I was my bills.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_03]: Ravens Steelers.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_03]: Browns Titans.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_03]: Raiders and carnals so seven seven.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you still got seven jobs, and yes Sean McVay was the OC for three years, but he did not call plays.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: He was not the play caller the last year.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he did know what what year did he go to LA?
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: uh... twenty fifteen was at the company of the year he was there twenty fifteen twenty sixteen for sure i don't remember that and a year all i'm saying this is if david blouse does good but watch it and he's probably out next year like he's gonna get a job somewhere like you're gonna get a head coach out either collegially or and it felt wise he won't have to be like five five five off in hey man i don't even think that matters they at this point
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: these these organizations don't know who they want to hire bro like they just don't whatever at this point like I mean just look at the dolphins like maybe an hour before we came on here the hired Jeff Haffley like he's been calling plays for the packers defensively but in the time of him being a hand coach at Boston College he was asked you film me like he still was able to elevate him something to get a job and in the matter of
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, we can agree to disagree, but I feel like at David Blow goes and proves he is this next boy, wondering like many NFL ranks believe and have been told by the media and he succeeds year one, he's out here, like he's gone.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just one of those things as a fan, you hope that he succeeds, but we still don't understand what his office is.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: We still don't know the player utilization.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: where we're not gonna learn more about this until free agency.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's, that's just the only thing I can do.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think from free agency, you'll be able to understand how they look to utilize playmakers, whether it be the wide receiver is running backs, whatever, you'll have a better, equally.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: But yes, as far as like being able to dissect plays and all that, we're not gonna, we're not gonna know that until training camp,
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: I do think it's going to be a good.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to say for me, I don't want to know just outside of even calling plays and you know, putting together a game plan.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, those are the most important things.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, but I don't want to know how good is he identify a talent like.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like from my office of coordinators to be able to identify talent and to say, this is a guy I know I can use in my office and this is a guy I know that will work in my office.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, when I think about the great office of coordinators out there, all of them seem to know some kind of talent, to give the scout talent.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know that about David Blossom.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe in the sense of ageing, which you brought up and then we may learn something about for each of you.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: Depending on who the attack and free agency, we may start to learn a little bit about what he uses for a system and what kind of players or our types that he's looking for for a system, that's going to be something to look at.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, overall, I mean, yes, it's going to take us a while to learn more about David Blowie, then that's a play called, I mean, not even a free season.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be regular season where you really start to find out about this guy because we have to see him consistently put together game plans.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: He can come out there, why did that week one?
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: But didn't, he could run it out for the first four weeks.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what happens when the defists of court and they just get to film one of them and they start to know what his tendencies are and what his plays look like.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: How does he adjust?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: So let's take this a little while to kind of get the notice, guys, so all of it right now is just going to be a trial with an therapy.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, um, I think, uh,
- 30:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of the thing, I think the players don't need priority in all season when it comes to acquisition.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_03]: Tata acquisition is get the goddamn best players you can.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like focus on getting the best players that you think can fit in your locker room.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_03]: Like get the best players you can, but this team just flat out, lacks it.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm talking about on both sides of the boat.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: I was growing the offensive coordinator side, right?
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: And I told you all,
- 31:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I told the show, like, you got to just build up the talent, especially offensively, like, get some pieces around Jayden.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know you have the quarterback.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_03]: So you know, like, this offense is going to be good regardless, but make sure that the ship stays afloat when you and have Jayden when when Jayden is doing.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_03]: his bare minimum, his version of bare minimum, by those superstars, or those athletes on the boundaries, or those run the backs, or those tight hands, they're just taking the fuck off.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_03]: And that's kind of what's most important.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_03]: fellas, I think worth who is it, blackmail asked the chat.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_03]: Um, should Dan go after Sean McDermott as defensive coordinator.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's the only thing I got on defense that we can talk about.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: We can get to the NFL playoffs, but that's where that's what Black Mall asked us on what do you all think about I personally.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_03]: think that McDonald's gonna take a hit close the job.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_03]: He's probably, he probably got, you know, top one at the top, top tier coaches now that he got fired.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't think that he's going for a defensive coordinator despite, but what do you all think?
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, even if you did, I'd be hell known.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, Buffalo has struggled to have a defense that could push them to the next level.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're talking about someone who's a disciple around with a bear.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: like that's really what it is.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that those days of playing defense, no longer exists, like that scheme, like even that quince scheme, don't really exist in does well in the league.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: You need someone that's going to threaten the quarterback more like whether it be pre-snap, but especially post-snap.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I listen to a great interview that John Tom did with Greg Williams recently,
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: where you know Greg Williams is saying that his favorite defensive play caller in the league right now is Brian Flores.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's like he's wanting to very few play callers, defensively that forces quarterback to have to think post that more than anybody else in the league.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like he throws everything at you from all different angles like even Greg Williams got into breaking down How he got a play called Chuckie that you know, I guess in all season he questioned John Grootling about something And then when they played Tampa He he did a double corner blitz or whatever and he called it Chuckie even like some autobills out of it We're like call Grootin whatever the case is so it's like
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: Brian Flores scheme and those type of guys that are aggressive to that nature, they can get quarter backs to have to think so much more and force them to not be able to speed up their clock so much.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like those are the type of defense of coordinators that you want to bring into the fold in your system.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: Especially if you have like a talent deficiency in some aspect.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Who knows the coin is his plan for the Minnesota Vikings like I mean they really didn't have no back in the Harris and Smith He's been with Minnesota for a long ass time or whatever smart smart player bad the end of the day They don't have no legs
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: a lead player at safety, at either corner position, but they just were able to force the quarterback to have to think so much, post that, and not know where the ball was coming from from any angle.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not the ball, but where the blisters coming from, whatever angle it may not even be coming at all.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just that disguise.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I just don't like a Charmick Dermon at someone that even consider,
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: But like Moss said, I believe he probably gets another head coach out.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean shit is seven seven damn jobs available.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, he did succeed pretty well in Buffalo.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: He just couldn't get over the hump.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: 66% went percentage.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_03]: I looked at it like bro like it.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_03]: I thought about Andy Reed.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_03]: I was on my first thing.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a lot of successful coaches from the standpoint of like, you know, I once bought you do really good for an extended period of time.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and granted Andy Reed actually made this football.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_03]: He got out.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_03]: He got out of his conference.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but yeah, like maybe like you get a first start somewhere else and it's like, all right, I don't have.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: this situation.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_03]: I maybe can go into a better situation.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I have the same quarterback, but maybe I like the defense here or maybe the offense is more well rounded, but I got to find that.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe I just keep a damn job.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: I just keep a check coming in because that's just the other reality.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: Not every job you're going to be able to do.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's a little profile.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: So you're not going to be able to find a Josh Allen at quarterback that easily.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like you in a
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: much lower especially when you had when you don't have a job out of Buffalo's been hearing it for a championship so bad like their curse.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: You funny?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: Funny enough, bro, I think like getting fired this late in this cycle hurt probably hurts in the government.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_02]: In theory, yes, but it's so many open jobs and no one is made in a situation yet.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to call some of those things a really think in and I say that because
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's not allowed to prove and come out of these out there in the coaching cycle.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: I was out of a horrible on the stifesties who just got hired.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now you got a Sean McDermott entered the list because a lot of the other guys hasn't been in ahead of coaches like we did.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: Those guys have been coordinators elsewhere and those are the guys who are talking about filial and spaspy and I think Sean McDermott immediately jumps up to the list.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: So some of those things we haven't looked to hire a coach yet, they're probably happy about
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: for me and if Washington should bring him in as a DC, at the very least, if he's not a head coach, yeah, bring him in.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: And AJ, I know you said, you know, he's a disciple of Robert Verra, but no, he's actually a Andrew Reed disciple.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: He came from Philadelphia as a defensive coordinator under the A.B.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: Reed, a coach of Trey Loma, before he came up on the Robert Verra, he just coached in under Robert Verra, but I can say to him more of an A.B.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: Reed disciple.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: He was a defensive coordinator in Philly first though for years.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: He was a defensive coordinator in Philly for a few years before he went with Carolina and became a defensive coordinator.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I realized I didn't even know dude was on staff or Seattle Seahawks, but really when Buffalo's defense
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: took a major change is when Sean decide to start calling plays again.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he was looking for.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: He was looking for him and Leslie from my home.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: He had a spat between each other with Leslie to step in away from football all together.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: Now Leslie is a senior advisors man, bring Leslie the D.C. Brown.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's old is Leslie now.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be like 7.0 right now.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, Lord, he's helping this guy McDonald, right.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_03]: He's 66 years old.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's helping.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's helping Seattle formulate their defense.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even know Leslie was he's in the same coach.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I'm even saying people on the time line like.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Bring it Carl Scott shit fucking Carl Scott bring it on Leslie Fraser anything like he's always been a defensive guru and genius broke and really That's when Buffalo really starting to have any pitfalls just when that that spat happened between them Was caused Leslie to walk away from the game all together the defense ain't been right since Because he was the one calling the plays if real Sean was just getting the
- 39:20[SPEAKER_01]: be Dan Quinn, like he's just getting the beat of Chris.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, but you, that's facts, but you know what's important on that side.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: Compared to me speaking for what, um, uh, Danny's do this time.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_03]: He got the higher right.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: He got the higher right.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: And, and then, you know, get that shit, get whatever you're doing, whatever's taking so long, whatever process you're going through right now and get that shit.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and worry about that potential drama later, but get this here.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Right, do we do we know of any, like, how we same reports of any upcoming like DC interviews, maybe this week.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: You'll start to see some because I always think if you wait this long, then, you know, you, you look at who just got eliminated from the play officer.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: Who was a 49ers this week, the bills got eliminated.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_02]: uh... the bears and uh... who was out the taxes so maybe some of those four teams are named might pop up if you want to be down here is just a little bit who's are used to staff maybe that team is me ball in you know what I'm saying?
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: yeah it's that it's all in the middle of my eyes that's they make on my eyes I don't care
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: Anybody else, they messin' over there, I'm like, they're not the meco dog, and when you get a the new hunter and we'll Anderson Jr. to gather off the edge, it's murder she runs.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: See, that's what I'm talkin' about, like, we're not talkin' about, my biggest takeaway from the playoff games as a result, to the Canadian.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we transitioned, and this is, by the way, we're going to play elsewhere.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, now, my biggest takeaway is, if you ain't got something close or half way as competent
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: You could draft them running back.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: You can go out and get all the wild receipts you go up.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: But if your defense can't get stops on the consistent face, so you'll even look halfway as decent as these things of the playoffs this week, you all have a chance.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, like Jay the Daniels, that's how you helped Jay.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: Get them somewhere close to one of these defense you've seen this weekend.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_03]: Let me tell you about the boys in Houston, bro.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_03]: That may CJ stride over there throwing up on himself.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_03]: All fucking games.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_03]: two weeks in a row, but specifically this week on the road in a hostile environment where you got an offense who's shown on that first drive, they're going to move, they're going to move the boat.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: You telling me, like that Houston defense breath kept them in the game the entire time up until they could.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_03]: And it was on at the most, it was an eight point game.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, when they were
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's that's super impressive, but that also just shows like how a leap a defensive, you know, a unit can be now I think for anybody that's looking at that not I mean, Washington inside thing about other deep the fucking bills like end up they're in the playoffs any tent the the Bengals.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_03]: The Ravens.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I mean, I actually got a little bit more belief in the Ravens.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think this year was just super weird.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_03]: They're more native sucks.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but the transition on how much time it's going to take for somebody to turn around and look like that, like they use it.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_03]: Sex is defense brand.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_03]: Like you, your expectations, you better adjust them asap.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_03]: Um, because that's super incredible.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but to the point, man.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about your boy CJ.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: AJ, we was in the chat.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_03]: You said you had your thoughts on CJ's trial.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_03]: Chat, where are y'all that with the playoff this week?
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: Since we're on a Houston game, swarb on a CJ.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_03]: But it was, I was so dis, I was genuinely disappointed.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_03]: But I had no other words to say, except for like, bro, I can't believe you playing like this with the defense that you got for like, he was wasting an opportunity.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think when it comes to Houston, if we're going to break them down, I think having the lack of a Joe mix and pretty much for the entire season, you know, Woody Mars came in and tried to do a solid enough job, but, you know, Houston,
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: They don't really have no weapons, bro.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like Nico Collins is a great, a great wild receiver, but don't I know true tight end?
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: They have nobody in the office in line and they traded Lermy Tonsoul to Washington for a second-round pick.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we had some fall start issues the year before, but in my eyes, Lermy Tonsoul played like a all-prodo year for Washington.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: So when you bring in a Trent Brown and tie his Howard and having them play tackle
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever the case is, then man, not confident in that old line in front of him.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then also officer coordinator changed, went from a slow it, went from Bobby slow it to a newer guy, I don't even know who the OCS.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think that CJ could still play, they just got to surround him with a bit more talent offensively, because he just don't have any weapons, Nico in and out of the line-up, last year they brought in stuff on the pair with.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: with Nico, but Stefan got hurt, unfortunately, towards ACL, Taint Dell, I think he came back and got hurt again.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they don't have no office of weapons.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, he looked a certain way, looked like he's scared or was coming next and I can't really blame me.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Not playing with nothing.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: The defense is amazing.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: You feel me?
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Defences is fired, but,
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, in Houston, they got to figure out all these additional picks that they got, how they can surround them with more playmakers on that side of the ball, do they go get, you know, a tight end in free agency, do they go get?
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: I say it likely, a cow pet store, David and Joker would have go a long side of another wire receiver on the outside.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they drafted a Jaden Higgins and I want to say a Jaden Higgins.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: David, you're actually safe.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Hutchison, but I mean, those guys, those guys ain't it right now, but I don't think CJ's asked, so I hated when I was saying people like, oh, you should pull out CJ and put in Davis Mills.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck you thought Davis Mills is going on?
- 45:43[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Brad, like can we can we be, I don't think, I think 90% of the people who are saying CJ that is probably talking about the actual game, like he was playing like some cruise ship.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, but that that goes back to now we go to the other side of off in New England.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: They spent their money last, they spent their money last year on acquiring free ages like a million volumes.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, great.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: They've re-tooled their defense.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: They re-tool their defense by spending a lot of money and now bringing a Mike Rable who actually has a scheme and players that are going to buy in.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: They look like a well-oiled machine defensively.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't have no more key guys.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: They just got a collective of bodies that are willing to play together and do the damn thing.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: And they didn't have to the quarterback.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: So you think CJ Schraude essentially stood no chance?
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like no, any team that got a solid past rush, you don't stand the chance.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you seemed with Pittsburgh last week, like high Smith and TJ White was on his ass, and came and came and he worked.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I mean, I mean, from what's he had against the stillers.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_03]: You probably had like three and boy, he had no damn time.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_03]: He couldn't even climb the parking.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_03]: Fumble, fumble five times.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: How do you get to have some accountability, man?
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I mean.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm leading to.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, fumble was there, he threw, he threw what?
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: Four picks.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_03]: Right, that's what I'm talking about.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_02]: That was turnovers in total in the play.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: Part three was like, what the fuck?
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there's accountability, but there's also the fact that shit ain't right up front and it's been going on all season.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like it just started in the playoffs.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: He literally has been looking like that all season, because of lack of comfortability, especially going against ass wrestlers, like going against premier top, like defensive, like that's just even just having just having a look like ass too late.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_03]: I mean most of us do some people like it is interesting and we can you know CJ because I was actually about to go to Josh like It shouldn't be he pulled this week, bro.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm my yo
- 47:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's like the most egregious mistake.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like you understand where you are.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's sure you're about to go in a half time.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's 15 seconds left.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: But who said just casually just run the ball like you have no idea somebody may be trailing you, bro?
- 48:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like you better to win the ball back pretty much.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_03]: You ran the football a thousand times.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm talking about before half when they got the easy field goal, I know because he flumbled.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm like, I'm like, how do you have no awareness of where you are in this moment in this situation?
- 48:24[SPEAKER_03]: And you just, the ball just comes out so easy.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like, no ball security, man, and I'm like, bro, if you're going to play like this in this moment, man, like, I don't, I don't know what, I don't know how you're going to win.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_03]: I have no idea how you're going to win these big moment games when you play so so recklessly and the moments where you're seeing these you to play uh, like protective football.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_03]: And I say not say play cautiously but protective football, play smart, right?
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: There's a difference between being aggressive and and being like calculated, like, you know when to take your shots, you know when you can fit the ball here and there, but like who told you?
- 49:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm making up some moot told you you see this one do this five seven fucking midget of a receiver and said you know what man I could but I got me I got three they need to win double coverage I can I bet you he catch it and it gets picked off hey brass it it's a different it's a different season once you get the playoffs
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: that's why I say all the time like regular season cool when you get to the playoffs like it's a different beat so now when you just playing them 17 games during that say worry about the hoop live can you finish in in these moments but it's real Josh Allen you still got to use this cell phone you know you use this cell phone something gonna pop up with your name on it your friends your family like the people within the building like it's just real as pressure
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: Those things are real when it comes to the playoffs.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like some people live up to the bill and some people don't.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I think we champion Tom Brady so much for the success he had at quarterback.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that shit is real.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like Josh Allen may never get to the Super Bowl.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: Even though that's what the media ultimately wants for him as a great white hope at quarterback these days.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because everybody else is dominating that the position is black.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's why they even tried to throw him in a lot for the MVP last year.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hertz, even, you know, the Jalen Daniels of the world where we thought he was going to get back there.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: He was one game away.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: Now they next great white hope is, is Drake May.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, it's just how that's just how the media work bro like they want these guys to get there so bad because things are changing like I'm not trying to make it necessary or racist race thing.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: It is MLK day, but the reality is the quarterbacks that are taking over collegiate football and professional football are black.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, at the end of the day, Josh Allen just need to play smart football, like he's if there's any any reason why I make Dermak got fired, but honestly, but I think I think my Dermak was going to get fired if they did it in the boat, I think he was I think he was on his way out if he didn't really got fired last year.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't good.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's bloody that Buffalo roster.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think it wasn't good.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: But they must think it's good.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: They promoted the GMC now.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: President and I agree.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's the other.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's the other.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: That's the other.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's the other.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's the other.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_03]: The GMC.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's the one who sent this shit up.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: You pay.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: You pay Josh out.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_03]: And now you can't do none with the roster.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: Like me.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_03]: Man.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: And who knows, it's a buddy buddy system, as you're saying, Packers, Packers assistant GM got a job in Miami, he bought his buddy over there from the Packers, probably they bought either Brian, they bought the Joe Brady, he'd be the head coach in Buffalo.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, all right, um, what else happened this week, bruh?
- 52:04[SPEAKER_03]: Chicago almost pulled that bullshit off again.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: luckiest team in football.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they had the rabbits foot all damn season man because that's the row had no business bank completed.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's one thing.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's going to say, you know, Caleb makes these special plays, but that damn man.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I mean,
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: clear more with something about that corner.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: But what the hell was he thinking on that last play?
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's where I want to know how to play a ball in the air.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_03]: If the Rams lost that game, bro, I would treat him like like how Green Bay treated that Titan who blew the on-site kick, bro.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_03]: I had to cut that nigga to the next thing.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_03]: You out of here man.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_03]: I swear.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_03]: I like I don't understand like the ball had he had to get lost in a licorice I'm like sure that the Titan gave him a little nudge, but he ain't he ain't another set of point where like it's up.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_03]: It's a okay Yeah, you're trying to go for the ball and we went up for the ball like you know you like five yards away from the ball We're like you just lost you just lost where it was
- 53:05[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the one, that's embarrassing, but it's also like you got embarrassed and you almost long as you're, you're telling the game, but at least they lost.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I guess we got to give Kudos also the Dennis Allen for the Bears, he did a good job against the Rams offense.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I expect the Puka and staff to go off and they didn't have it.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think I heard during the broadcast where they told Dennis Allen with the job, he was taking at DC that, hey man, we're going to allocate most of our funds to the office to help out Caleb.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_01]: So he's just going to have to make do what you have defensively.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: and I guess he may, he may do and maybe they think that corner got hurt and forgot his name and prove.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_03]: Well, time to see this is not their starter.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_03]: He got, he tore the ACL down.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J
- 54:22[SPEAKER_03]: Linger impact in his playoff return.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_03]: So did he come back, did he go on an active list?
- 54:29[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, I think he's still.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_03]: Also, I think he's coming back.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_03]: Matter of fact, I think he came back a little bit already.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_03]: And then when did he hear the ACL?
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: Some points in the point about that.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he looked last year was last year.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_03]: He got this at least he, yeah, he didn't vote in the play.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_03]: Great.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's decent.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_03]: Well, shout out to everyone.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I'm Drake, not Drake, I mean, bonus.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's rough and in the fact that like I got that gentleman underdog fantasy to Larry I don't remember what I was doing exactly maybe I was watching the next game and then just got this alert I don't know where Bonex out for the season.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: I had to like read for like is this an old I was like, is this an old alert like why am I getting this and then going to set a championship game like It's two games left.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_03]: How's the out for the season and then boom dude?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_03]: I had no indication during the game.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_03]: No indicator.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing
- 55:23[SPEAKER_02]: They said it might happen when you sell the brain with a seedlings.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I heard.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they said, oh, they said it's not complaining before it ended a game for some shit, but like, I had no indication, but like, that sucks.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, one thing that sucks, but that sucks.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: What, what happens if Jerry Stenham ends up leading Denver over New England?
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's not what happened.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's a bad look for New England.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_03]: That is a bad look for New England when it ain't going to happen.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: But I will say, I don't expect it.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't expect it to happen, but I also will say, don't underestimate Sean Pete.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I did think Sean Pete, you know, he's gonna come in with a prepared game plan, but I don't expect it to be the pastures.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_03]: New England versus Seattle, Brown, too, Brown.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: And don't count the Rams all the more I'm telling you.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_03]: I told you, you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know
- 56:34[SPEAKER_03]: You know what, I probably be all too different for like two months.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: It would be nice if they didn't.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, man.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_03]: All right, that's it for us.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be back when we get some news.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_03]: Um, we do got guests coming up though, too.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll have conversations here and here.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and we'll definitely be around a week.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_03]: So that's that's not a big deal.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_03]: But, uh, if there's news this week, we'll be back.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_03]: All 32 is coming back Thursday of this week with Nick Rick right in myself and then the terms of the interviews will get some of those lines of hopefully starting next week so y'all take it easy and join in that team and we're about to end man.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_04]: That's it, huh, watchin' throw the ball, we gon' pick it up You gon' light them hit the hole, you gon' cut it up You gon' play through for a long, you gon' put it up You're the funny savvy hitters put your pants in Don't be lookin' for the rest, don't don't fly again Keep that on me, no, keep the police tight You get tight, you wanna win by any means, right?
- 57:37[SPEAKER_04]: You should look alive, this is driving out
