- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's so not even not even two minutes after I posted this.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: I know he didn't watch the film session.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: He just said, whatever the hell you want to say, we'd be detain that lost the Giants, pump your bricks.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: What was I like?
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: What was I posed to do?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: What was I posed to do, Jim?
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: You tell me what I was posed to do because I put out a film session against the, the Packers.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: I put out a film session against the Falcons.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: They both lost, they lost both those games.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: So what the fuck am I supposed to do?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Um, anyway, all right.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: So we got everybody in here now.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll say another announcement towards the second half of the show.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let me get AJ in here.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: Nick was going on with you player.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: How are you feeling?
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good man, how you guys been?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm good.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm good.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, AJ Andrews in here, Nick Anchorage, a pro football focus.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: If you all are on the social media side of things and follow him or are on Twitter, you're kind of familiar with Nick Anchorage.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: But again, pro football, senior pro football focus analysts and does all things grading wise and in other things that we can kind of
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: You say what yelling at me, that's what you get with what you meant to say.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, well, you know, I thought it, look, I'm, I'm an ally.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: So, so we're going to, we're going to make it easier.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: These is possible on your, but when you get back to that Twitter world, you know, it was rough.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's rough out there at times.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know why you waste your time.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like you try.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I get it.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's a company, but they have like, it's impossible to, it's impossible to like try to tell somebody to do something in order to change their opinion.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Especially for media.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: I've been able to change a few people's minds.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like I have this problem where I just feel like I can change everyone's minds and have them agree with me, which I realize the longer I'm on Twitter is just not possible.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I got to do a better job.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just ignoring people.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Man, it's tough.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: At least we spend so long.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like you kind of just talked about with your film review.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like we spend so long doing these grades, watching the film, analyzing stuff like that.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the first comment is just like, you're wrong.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: You suck.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, come on man.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to my supposed to do.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: So it's, yeah, I got to be better with just, uh, with laying off.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Realizingly.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: My practice is one day at a time, because you know that they're going to stop talking to you.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: I just got to tweet it out and then just throw my phone somewhere else.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's what AJ does.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: He says some, uh, my knife will shit and then just,
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: goes on to get his uh, you know, whatever you have, whatever you have, honestly, I read it and I just laughed to my sub, right?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's like you don't you purposely look for that engagement you love it.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like you and you Like it's funny it to me is funny making people that you don't even know upset and so bothered like it It's just I don't know maybe that's the petty mess in me
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: But I mean, I stand by what I say.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_03]: So it don't really bother me.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, through the fire, through everything else.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Stand tall and shit, man.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's good, bro.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go ahead and talk some bow with Nick.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: 2017 with the the road when against Los Angeles chargers.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: I called AJ and Jerry essentially crazy for thinking that Washington was going to hold the chargers under 20 points.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_02]: Not only did they do that.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Washington broke the barrier that the Chargers said where it wasn't allowing any opponent to score over 20.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: So, it kind of went in terms of the score, it kind of went both ways.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: What is kind of like your overall thoughts, like you, you got into everything, what's the day to say?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: So, you got into everything Monday with the mark.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: What kind of your overall thoughts after watching the game a couple
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this team almost is going to just kind of have to live and die by their past research right now with with the way the secondary is playing and and I kind of look at the schedule and I just look at the opposing team and those that team have a good office of honor about office of line and that's going to kind of tell you.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: how well the commanders are going to play on defense or how many points they're going to know oh I guess I should say because you know they only gave up 10 points but the secondary was still still not great like there were still a lot of problems in the secondary.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of communication issues still some busted coverages but when you're able to create pressure like they were then it just didn't really matter and you know for the offense like
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: his offense is so good right now their run game is just phenomenal and so I think that they're always going to be able to put up 25 to 30 points, almost every single game on any team.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's just whether or not that defense can hold on enough and it's kind of what we saw last year as well.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just kind of repeating what we, you know, with through last year with, this offense is going to need to put up 30 points a game and if they don't, you're, you're probably going to lose.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think, what do you think about the run game compared to last year?
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I kind of like some of the majority of the principles from last year are still in here, of course.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: But like I just think like they're executing at a far higher clip than in this five game stretch.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: Then I've seen in any stretch last season, and I don't think I'm slicing it.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like I really do think like this this rest game or this run offense for Washington
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're hundreds of right.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think it's been great.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like last year, we all kind of saw that they kind of live and die by like you know the creativity that Cliff came up with.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's more like you mix that creativity and what she's still kind of doing some crazy stuff like the guard GT count of they had where you know, Debo, Jane and Bill are all on the back field together and it's just like that type of stuff is just so hard to defend and it makes it easy as a blocker, but
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, then you kind of add in the fact that now you've got obviously John Bates was great last year, but you got a guy like Benson not who's coming in and is played really well as a run blocker Um, just to kind of step up.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: So now you got those two tight ends sets that you can have both of these guys that you're going to trust Um, in the run game and into block.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: So that just adds another layer.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I just think that, you know, again, second year in this offense In this kind of this this run game scheme and I just think that they're like you said just actually getting better
- 9:27[SPEAKER_04]: Nick I want to go to a guy who I'm a fan of I mean I understand you may not be a star or anything but I'm pretty sure I'm the one down there so really like some I'm not gonna say more does it but AJ I know does it care much for me
- 9:41[SPEAKER_04]: But he's got a pretty good PFF grade, but not only the PFF grade.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_04]: This is a guy who I feel like makes the most of his opportunities when he gets the opportunities thrown his way.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_04]: And that's looked at the county.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think the youth they lit big cafe free from what he shows so far is kind of aching out, or he's kind of carving out a role, at least says, to say, hey, I'm white receiving another three, even window of brown comes back.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I'm a huge Luke McAfrey fan.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think I, I kind of hitched my hitched my wagon of that a little too early last year, I just kind of saw him constantly winning against man coverage.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: And he just got so unlucky last year with some of the way that some things kind of timed up where, you know, he's winning in coverage and either Jane hit somebody else before him or, you know, Jane just misses him.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so like that stuff happened so often last year that I was just kind of waiting for it to really happen with Luke and then he just kind of got
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: buried on the depth chart.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I'm a big fan.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's really kind of stepped up and
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's finally making those big catches like the one right before the half was just so huge when we come down with that because that's the type of play where you know again he's created separation in the past but finally finishing that contestant catch was so so huge for him so like I said I'm a big Luke McAfrey fan I wasn't a huge fan of the pick when it when it happened but kind of watching him last year and watch how he was you know able to separate which I think
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Watching him separate is a reason I was kind of still high on him and and have not got given up on him.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_04]: You see it So you get more opportunities going forward you think on a percent.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I think that the whole noob Brown experiment I he he stepped up and he did his he did his job and any and he did a great job Actually, but you can't rely on him to release a healthy anymore And I think those type of snaps need to start going
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: to guys like Luke McAfrey guys like Jalen Lane, who I also think Jalen Lane has had a pretty solid start to the season.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: There were some moments in the Falcons game.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: There was a deep catch thing like 30 art cash.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: You got callback for holding, which isn't going to show up in the stat.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: The box score, but again, one of those moments where I think, again, it was a really good job from these young receivers.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what I think is helping Luke a lot too is like just having that confidence, um, you know, that you can't make the plays in like what's helping them, what where I was going to was the special teams.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, if you break in, this is three games, the Raiders, Chargers, and I think I think it was the Falcons where he had a decent, not what a Raiders wanted, it was the Falcons and the Chargers, but the Raiders one is where he almost could have
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but like you just know like he's saying things a little bit more clear and like any area of the field that you can contribute, I think you just going to get confidence from yourself, but also your coaches and jade and like he said it, man.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so my God, and I trust my God, though, about trust theirs.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you said that you are a fan of Luke.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, who who else on this offensive side of the bow?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: in terms of like the grading scale over the five weeks.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like who's been catching your eye in terms of like consistently popping up as one of the higher rated players.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I would have said bill before this week, but he kind of showed the rest of the world how how he was.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, he was showing up in our grades, like every single week was popping with just a limited carries he had because he's just constantly forcing his tackle is constantly getting more than what the office of on his block form and and that's kind of essentially what we're grading is how often you are getting more yards and what is just block for so he was one guy that was that was kind of constantly popping up kind of touched on Benson it a little bit That run block rate is is My mission.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Chris Paul's another one.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: Benson, yeah, his run block and greatest right now, it's the best on the team for any position.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: So those are some guys that kind of really stepped up and in Chris Paul on his first game.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think he finished with like an 85, 86, he was moving dudes in the run game.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, those are some of the guys.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: You think it was a big deal to have Chris Paul, because you know they had Nick, Andrew Wiley, and Chris Paul coming for Alan Grady and Coleman.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think it was a big deal for Paul to line up?
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: at the left guard alongside Tonslow versus him like being right guard alongside Coleman.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 100%.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's it.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's such a great point that not a lot of people kind of realize with the offensive line that the person next to you is so important to how well you play as well, especially in the run game.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: There's just so much communication.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have an impairing him up with a rookie was just going to be a problem But that's kind of why I was hoping I thought Coleman would have a great year because again, you put him next to someone like.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also on It just did not work those first two games were were pretty rough But yeah, I put him next to tonsil is just great for him Have a guy that's seen literally everything and yeah, he's just he's been great so far
- 14:36[SPEAKER_04]: let's kind of keep it on the office of Ryan here and I want to talk about Josh Connelly because obviously when he faced that tough gauntlet early in a season, he had a pretty poor PFF grade but I'm noticing that that grade is gradually going up.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_04]: He talked about what you've seen from him and if there is some real progression of stuff that is kind of sustainable going for him.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it really just kind of comes down to who he was going against like that that gauntlet of
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Parsons, Abdul Carter, Brian Burns, Max Crosby, the first three weeks is just that's going to get promised to any right tackle in the NFL, and especially a guy who's playing in a position he hasn't played in before.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think he held his own a little bit against the Giants ever some rough moments.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: We all saw the Packer's name was really rough, but
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: Raiders bounce back a little bit.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but like he said Falcons in in the Chargers game as well as I thought was Two of his best games.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: He is kind of slowly slowly putting it together Again, it's tough.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's not played right tackle before.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: He was a left tackle.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: So It's just a brand new position for him and he is very slowly kind of starting to figure it out And I kind of hope that that trend that that grade keeps kind of slowly increasing
- 15:46[SPEAKER_03]: As we focus on our office of line, you know, how do you feel about learning tonsils performance, whether it be PFF and even outside of PFF?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Has he shown you to be more than just an elite pass protector?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_03]: Has he shown you something more within the run game within this office of scheme?
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, he's a stud.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's done exactly what you wanted him to do when you made the trade.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like he said, elite pass protector.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: Run game, he's always kind of been adequate.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's never really been the type of guy that's going to physically move people on the run game often.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: But he's always done just enough.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's always going to do his assignment.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a lot of blocks where he's missing assignments.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I think in the run game, he's just, he's serviceable and he's doing his job in the past.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: And he's so good.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: 0.0, but I just watching him, we can we got you don't ever have to worry about that left tackle side And it's just so refreshing to finally see that and we haven't seen that since since the trend Williams day So it's it's fun to finally see that again Hey, one more thing on the offense on my side And I think is a good time to with the receivers, but we've mentioned Luke already as a young guy And I'm with you on Noah Brown like man at some point, but I like
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: If we doing good without you, come on man, like good, good, rest up, bro.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, first of all, if you should have been on IR, not, not it's so much time is went by.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it was make on him coming back soon, but.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: Debo Samuel Terry McLean, the the impact that Debo has made to this offense.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about him?
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: I preface this by saying, like I think his contribution and obviously it overall impact has been great.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it was a big deal to have like a 96 yard day receiving.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: From him after that giant's game like it's statistical production offensively went down each week So like it was some some of them where you needed debo to have like an impactful day and a spot They didn't really need it.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: He came through clutch against the charge.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about debo as he's got it all to his start with Washington
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love when they made that move.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it all just depended on, you know, Debo's health and whether or not the reports of, you know, being fat and all that stuff was just so stupid.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: But he's so important as offense and he's so valuable now, like, we kind of touched on it with, you know, being able to put him in the backfield.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of been able to step into the awesome declarer role while also being able to play outside and win against me and coverage and I mean that's tough to stop like you said like him finally kind of having that big numbers game kind of really showed how important he is but.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he's been great every single game.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think there was maybe a drop or two there First couple games, but yeah, he's just so important to this team I think Cliff's able to do so much cool stuff with him You know wildcat stuff just put him in the back feels a threat.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that that one play that I was talking about that GT counter where He doesn't even get the ball, but him and Jane Yeah, yeah, him and Jane just run into the left side just since all lineback is a wrong way
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And that's all you really need.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's been a great great addition.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: I thought so at the time, and it's really paying off.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_03]: If I could jump in real quick, I as we speak about deep bow Samus impact.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_03]: I know we haven't seen much of Terry McClellan this year.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people speak about the lack of not having Terry on the field and being able to draw that double team or whatever unique and mall.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_03]: You guys look at a lot of film.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: Did you guys see a lot of Terry McClellan dictating coverage last year?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes and no, so like in this offense like there was such a big deal made about how Cliff doesn't move there receivers and stuff like that so it is pretty easy to shade your coverage to his side like if you want to rotate the cloud coverage over to him you can do that teams did it at times they don't do it as often there's just not really kind of a need when you're kind of going this kind of up tempo style it's tough to kind of get your defense kind of
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: constantly keep an eye out for Terry.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I wouldn't say that they necessarily do that all the time.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: When they don't Terry was able to make them pay, I think against man covers last year.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: He was really really good.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: Missing that right now has been tough.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're not the biggest Terry McCoran fan in the world, but I think he who tells you that, me.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on Twitter and all of you.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: Um, no, I think he's still is really valuable, man.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think he's still really good, um,
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: at separating, and even when he isn't meant, contested catches is his go-to.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how he does it.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: His catching style is so on orthodox.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make any sense that he's able to constantly catch the ball, not have drop in shoes.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: He catches it with his forearms.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't make sense, but it works for him.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: They're missing him.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's really important to have him back.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: I know that this offense is kind of a well-oiled machine.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: You can really kind of put anyone there, but him being out there is still really important.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: You want that guy to kind of,
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in those big moments that you can trust he's going to make that catch it in a contestant situation.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_02]: Defensively, um, y'all like, I, I, I, one of my keys to the game and I, and I see this post game as well like people, um,
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: like here, like the past rest thing and defensive line like having to take advantage of those, like those poor offensive lines in, you know, somebody said, you know, we hear this all every single week.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, they come up short.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, something stand like, that's not what he's ever made them.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: But.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I think that's like one of the more important things with this defensive unit, it is the past rush.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: It is that overall front seven, like they've been tremendous in the run game, but like living and dying by the past rush, it's ultimately like something that's going to make a break this defense or and depending on the stakes of the game, make a break this team, what do you think about?
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: So far, like, well, first of all, Lawrence Armstrong, he's, he's, he's, he's shot out of it, right?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: But then, like, some other guys who's been stepping up obviously, Ken Lowe was the big controversy in terms of, like, in the old season, they signed them and people wasn't too keen on his contract for whatever reason, but he's then stepped about it.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: He stepped up as well and made a big impact.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about the defensive line?
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: I know obviously somebody, the big main or the big contributors so far.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's starting to see.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, they've been the bright spot for sure.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think I was one of the guys that was with not high on the Ken Law signing at all.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of been a guy that was really underperform throughout the career.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: But this season he's been playing great.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is when you look at his grades this year, he's never graded higher for him.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's just kind of finally playing free.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really know what it is.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: But he's been great.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people joke about contract here to rompain.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of happening again.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's been playing great.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those guys have been fantastic.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you kind of told me that going to the season, they would have played this while I thought this defense would have been dominating.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_02]: But if you're like, Kellogg is like the strongest person on the field every time you want to do it.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: If he, if he stays low, there's nobody that can block him.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: The problem has always been he gets a little too high because he's so tall.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough for him.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: But when he stays low, there's nobody that can block him.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not possible.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why teams kind of keep kept kind of falling forward.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Every single time with Kellogg.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: But he's finally kind of turned it together this year.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: And the biggest problem for this defense, man, it's just tackling.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like they've been so good in the run game like you said, but they can't finish, like they just can't finish the plays when they get there.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's been my biggest concern with them in the run game at least.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think defense lines have been great.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: Love what I've really seen there run games between fantastic run defense.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: It is body wagons still incredible in the run game.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: We could we could talk about the coverage issues later, but yeah, Dorn's arms are always been great too.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think what Joe Witt does and what he's kind of been forced to do is come up with kind of unique ways to get pressure Unique blitz packages.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know people hated seeing the dorms Armstrong drop into coverage, but you kind of need to do that when when you don't have a premier past pressure They just they don't have that right now So this is what you kind of have to do to get creative and I think he's gonna stand on with Ryan Kerrick and was dropping back in picks
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, nobody says about TJ what you got to do different things to know guys off.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_03]: Like I just I just think we all on this panel understand that some people just don't know for both X and L's like that.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean these impressions that they run with with Louvre and Wagger and Wagger are so good at rushing the passion We obviously know Louvre as well.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have these guys drop into coverage like they just have to so you kind of can't have it both ways I remember kind of going back forth people like they need to blitz more and I told them they were blitzing a lot And they said well they can't drop these guys and coverage will
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: You can't have them wanted to blitz more and then not drop in these guys in the coverage.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of the chess match that you have to play on defense.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes you just, you get caught out and offense has a better play call than you like that happens at times.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that Joe with, I know it was more of a problem last week.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's done what he needs to do with his defense and some guys just don't perform it.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_03]: As we're all on social media, do you think that Marshaon Latamore is playing as bad as it's being stated from the masses online?
- 25:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I guess I'll throw Clon Martin and Mikey Sandistro into that mix of this particular question.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think Marshaon is the guy that everyone's going after.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's just him that's been the problem.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been great like I'm not gonna I'm not gonna mask it.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: It has not been good for for all three of them, but It's it's the combination of them.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's never just one guy So I think they've been a little too hard on Marshan, but I understand why they're getting a little too hard on him because it has been rough at times like When when I was kind of looking at the the green bag game it was so tougher for Joe Whit to kind of when he wanted to call man coverage He couldn't trust
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Martian and St.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Restyl to hold up in man coverage.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't working so you wanted to play zone and then you can't play zone anymore because these guys are not busing coverage in zone.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: So it was just like there was nothing he could do at that point.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: It has been rough.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think they've been a little harsh on him at times.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's not always every big catch is not always his fault.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: They're a there are other guys that
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: or in the secondary, but I think they definitely need to get better if you want this defense to even kind of come close to be an average.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, for me, and I kind of want to stick with that secondary because that's the glaring issue.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_04]: I think even against the chargers, a lot of people would note that, you know,
- 26:52[SPEAKER_04]: if the past rush wasn't getting there this probably going to be a lot of complete passes in this game.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_04]: Is this fixable?
- 26:58[SPEAKER_04]: Because right now to me, and I'm looking at your greens, a claw Martin is the one great who's not really fluctuating in a right way.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_04]: You know, other guys, you can see them gradually going up.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_04]: His claw Martin is a fair to say that he's kind of a big link.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_04]: And the second question is, is this fixable with the guys that you have currently on this team?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think part of it's fixable.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think the zone cover stuff is fixable because that's a communication and that's a, that's a trust sort of thing, which you see it all the time with defenses is that, especially when you have new pieces into the defense that it takes time for these guys to kind of trust.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, where they're going to be in zone coverage, especially when Washington plays a lot of kind of like zone match stuff when they play their cover three is a lot of, there's a lot of match principles in it.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to trust what other guys are doing and it's not just simply dropping back into his own, you have to trust that the guy next to you is taking the man that he's supposed to.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: So that part can get fixed the man covered stuff.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: That part's probably not going to get fixed this year.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's just pure kind of talent.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: Whether or not you can or cannot stop somebody in man coverage.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: The zone stuff can get fixed.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: And that just kind of comes down to more reps with each other better communication.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the part that I kind of hope that they can get kind of ironed out before.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: We get too far in the season.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what was Bob Murray's dream?
- 28:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not aware of that.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_03]: I have it here.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's a 42.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_04]: I guess it's hard.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_04]: It's no, it's a fortune roll.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been great.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of mistaples.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the busted cover just have been on him.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's just.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's been soft for him, which is kind of shocking because I thought kind of coming in and I don't know the coach has talked about it in a lot that he was going to be really good and I thought last year or the last couple years that he's been playing for his safety.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was a just an adequate safety.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: He was doing his job and it was pretty good there and this year just has not worked out too well.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, so question, this is going to the Atlanta game.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: On the the
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: pennies under through to be John, they're like, well, he was in a trip's trip's left.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: He slipped up the scene or said, excuse me, slipped up the sideline.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: And it was Martian and Reeves who had an opportunity on the pick.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: It was the third down at the open and drive.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we should've done something up.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: So they had to match man thing going on with like the cortisol and your Amos trailing.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: It was running a mess concept.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you get all four deep conversion on Drake London, I don't even, like, I was looking at that.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, who's for does this?
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't even know how every all four of these guys just convert us on Drake London and just just be as honest as completely unaccounted for and the only thing that saved them was a terrible panic throw.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, did that, that's happening so fast.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: That that's happened so often like that, that place specifically, like I remember that
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're similar with the charges.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: There were a lot of missed opportunities.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Favans put up a lot of points and they could have put up more.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: There was plenty of missed opportunities there.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: That one, I'm pretty sure we pin that on Latamork because again, I think you were right.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: As a quarter is looking, he needs to leave that, I think it was kind of like a hook by London and just leave that to the whole player or the quarter safety coming down.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: But there's been a lot of things that we saw.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they just don't really kind of trust each other right now.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: And that play was also kind of a cool play, too.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'll shout out my former coworker, Zach Robinson.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that was a cool play design.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: He kind of had Bege on sort of leaking out on like a kind of stick and then wheel around a little bit.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of more I think that kind of got a little too to occupy it inside.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: That sort of sells happen a lot, whether it's these match coverages, these quarters coverages or it's a simple spot drop.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I remember in that Falcons game, I think the very first, one of the very first plays was just a simple cover 3 where Amos got a little too greedy on the out and let it guy go about their range.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and so like that sort of stuff it just happened way too often and it's tough.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just throwing it out there because you mentioned it.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know where you guys work together.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_03]: You and Zach Robinson, but how do you feel about him living in Tissle so much?
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, so I didn't know anything.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's nothing to do with commanders, but if I didn't know.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_03]: So my mind, I really don't see many teams in the NFL offensively living Tissle as much as the Falcons have this year for some reason.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's kind of a cool way to do it.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're kind of, because Penix is not played under center a lot, and so it's kind of your way of kind of mixing the two of them together where you want the back kind of straight behind the quarterback, but you don't have to rely on on the quarterback being under center.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's a good way to kind of still run some of the stuff that you want to under.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: Center while still putting your quarterback in the spot that is comfortable for him because a lot of these college quarterbacks coming out They've never been under a center in their life and it is a problem when you come into the NFL Like I know Jane is not gonna be under center-lock just because he just didn't So that is a problem.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a cool kind of way to do it Like you said that you don't see a lot of pistol in the NFL, but it it's working for
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I guess the last thing on my end is this.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just leave it on the first quarter MVP's offensively and defensively who are the people that has one.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to do one one on offense one on defense, but also like whatever your outlook was on the season before the season started has it has it altered at all after five games.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so offensively, I offensively think I'm going to go with Mario to like I
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: He, when he came in and played those two games, I thought he was really, really good.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of one that I was kind of sneakily go.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then later, we talked about, I think he's been so good on the left side.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I know I gave you two there, but that's cool.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's cool.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's true that I go for defense.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think Doran's arm shone.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: The way he's played as an adressor has been, has been massive for them.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Body Wagner, but only in the run game.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: If we'll go with that one.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's the coverage is not being great, but in the run game, he's been phenomenal.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_04]: No, man.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: To finish your question, I'm talking about like, if I still kind of see this the way I saw it.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: So going into the season, I kind of thought this team would be like, and kind of hover around that nine, 10, 11, win, mark.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: And because I didn't think that this defense was going to be kind of all world.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I just kind of saw it going similar to how it went last year with the offense.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to have to carry you a lot of times.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I kind of see this season kind of going in that same direction where they're going to kind of hover around those those eight, nine, ten wins and hopefully sinking the playoffs and then you never know what happens from there.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of where I see this going.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_04]: In my last question was going to Jane, because we haven't talked about him at all.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_04]: Did you get a feeling after that charges game that he's back?
- 34:13[SPEAKER_04]: Like this is the guy we saw last year.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: Like this is no sophomore, no flute whatsoever.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: Like, Jane and his dad do it.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_04]: Did you get that feeling after the charges game?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, he's back.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's all the back that that third and 16th row, whatever happened after that.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: I know he will talk about the the cleats and all that sort of stuff, but it was that throw.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: Once he made that throw, some click form, and he was just back to being in 2024, Jayden, because even when he was playing, it was kind of rough at times, like there were some misses and stuff.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: But like, even the play right before Tom Brady kind of mentioned where he missed the deep over that was kind of wide open and he doesn't typically miss.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's laid on it and then missed it high, but then third and 16 laser first down perfect and then he didn't miss anything after that.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's all the way back and I think you kind of see that in.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: It'll kind of be a stepping, so I'm kind of like last year with with the Giants game, like the first game against the box last year was was rough.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: It was bad, toss it and then the Giants first half game last year was also kind of rough and then something kind of clicked in the second half and then he took off for the rest of season.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of what I'm hoping this chart is game is for him.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_00]: And we just kind of see you know how much better he's going to get in year two.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: A Nick as always where we appreciate you coming on and shopping up with the fellas I just want to give you the floor man plug anything and everything that you got going on boss Yeah, I mean, it's just Twitter for me at PFF underscore Nick Akridge aka RIT GE.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's where I do any and everything
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, rain some articles for PFF Mosul looking at core back play.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, Rowan about Baker may feel this past week who was incredible.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but yeah, come come can yell at me at PFF grades.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to do a little bit better job of not responding to it to some of you guys.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_03]: And one last thing I want to do is any of my Terry McCorn dialogue.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to pass it along to my assistant, Nick Aldrich, so go ahead and contact him for any inquiries and we're going to talk about Sarah McClellan.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not taking any of that Terry McClellan hate.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: Never.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's all you.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's all you.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: All right, all right.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, all your hands will clear up.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, appreciate you guys.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: All right, be safe, man.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we're not going to ask him about Chicago.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_02]: No money, boy.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_02]: And also,
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: How did Mary out of blow to five in the name of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the title of the
- 36:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's like on online, it feels like they're trying to create like the rival.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's fair.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was like that's bear's fans in an unfortunate little to AJC.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: We just the people that we follow.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever they are, I'm not saying we follow all the same people, but the people that we follow, they just feed into it.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, Brad, it's just shut up.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: I know, like, leave something wrong.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_04]: Brad, that shit's irrelevant.

- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: The dog is everywhere.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, that's it.

- 46:53[SPEAKER_03]: I don't, I don't know, but I had a conversation with the young couple.

- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't what I've heard.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_03]: I've got to work on getting his name right, but yeah, I mean, it's going to be a good time and for those that, you know, love Jayden Dan's mother.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to get the serum person.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be there.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I was already going to be there.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: No, Drake.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm missing it now, Brad.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_04]: Drake for a minute.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: And if you're looking to kill you, I got to try that Carmeasy 1886 and now I am a young old guy.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_03]: What the hell is this?
- 47:57[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: That sounded like it's some Italian ship.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, man.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_03]: Jay Tyler, how much does Carmeasy cause?
- 48:07[SPEAKER_03]: And where can you find it?
- 48:08[SPEAKER_03]: Is it a family dollar?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: Or is it that?
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 48:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, that's that's I'm glad you I'm glad you wrote it up to so Quinn mentioned yesterday that he's optimistic about turning the corner for this week as, um, and reiterated that he and others, this is words from John, kind his tweet directly, but reiterates that he and others like Noah Brown and Sam Crosby are trying to narrate direction.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm having the extra day helps, but yeah, I think we'll know a little bit more as the week goes on, but yeah, Terry McClellan is I think that's that's really good news about him.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: No Brown.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really tripping about in Sam Carlos, I'm not in the rest for him to return.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: He also mentioned that he has to get a football shape too.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I think his window open as we cry.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: So it's window open last week, after last week.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm maybe he needs like another week or two.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really chipping off of Sam, but in terms of Terry and like just trying to open up his offense even a little bit more Because like they're supposed to plays in the past game, just I mean, it's outside of that loop one, you know, you will hope to see a little bit more.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, they're efficient for sure.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but in terms of the past game, you want to see them open up a little bit more.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_02]: So it's the interior come back.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: If you can get Terry back.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: And if he's not like hobbling around.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: Um, like that little mad and jump, we're cause broke his leg.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want Chris Moore know where you have football for you.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_04]: He shouldn't be anywhere near what we play at home.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_02]: But not co-signin'.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: We're not co-signin'.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: Where did this, why you want your money bowl, shit?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: Where did I ever like, Chris Moore?
- 50:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's a boy now bro.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_04]: That's your boy now bro.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_04]: But no, I mean in any of the outtake robbing you last week money boy.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_04]: Look money boy.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_04]: When you forgot this bro.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: One money boy.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say last week.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_04]: He said they need to sit looking at me and put Robby chosen up the he didn't say that about Chris more.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: You ain't tell us about like that.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_04]: That's who he's to be sitting like Chris more gets more stuff.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: He gets the second most snaps of any of the white we're seeing from the roster right now.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_04]: And I honestly don't know what kind of impact he makes.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_04]: Like I mean,
- 50:52[SPEAKER_04]: He's not there to catch footballs.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, maybe relax.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's doing something that I don't know what he's doing.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_04]: Like it ain't nothing that's a big impact.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_04]: That's for sure.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_04]: But no, I would, um, I mean, I don't even know about Robbie chosen, but whatever gets Chris Moore off the football field, so be it.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, Terry, hopefully he is trending in the right direction because, um,
- 51:12[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's time now for Cliff to kind of really see what he can unleash with this offense.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, the offense is starting to wake up now.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_04]: You got your start quarterback.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_04]: He's finally back.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_04]: I felt like last Sunday was opening day really for Jaden Dames.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_04]: Like not to dismiss everything you happened before, but you know, you missed two weeks.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_04]: You had a first up and down two weeks to start the season.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_04]: Then you come back week five.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_04]: And he looks like Jaden, the Jaden that we've seen will grow to love.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, with him back, you want to see Terry McLean kind of get back in that photo.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not even relying on Noah Brown at this point because Noah Brown, I feel like even if he comes back full week, he's probably going to be back on the edge report report and a week or two, like that's just kind of where he lives and I'm sorry to say that because I actually like Noah Brown, he plays football, he doesn't play football often enough.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_04]: But no, it's time to see what this offense can really do.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_04]: I think
- 52:03[SPEAKER_04]: little bit more in this offense and we kind of got that hint last week.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like people have been trying to read TV so when it comes to like these press conferences with the coaches and Cliff said last week like usually when you ask Cliff about Bill he's mostly saying yeah he got to do this to get on a
- 52:21[SPEAKER_04]: The last Thursday clips said, the sky's the limit for Bill, and then you go out of Sunday, and you didn't have to wait until the second quarter to see Bill this week.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: Bill was playing first series of the game, which was the first for me that I was at least seeing from my account this whole season.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_04]: To me, that says it started to trust them a little bit more.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they were easy to remember because the only play one game of college football this year.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_04]: you know, that, jumping to the NFL as a whole big deal.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_04]: So with him, you know, getting that kind of usage last beat, I'm starting to think now I'm going to start gradually giving this key a little bit more responsibility.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_04]: Now, all you make is speak to this a little bit more than I can because I haven't paid much attention to it.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe his past block in his gotten a little bit better.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe he's not as bad as one would think there.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they're trusted him a little bit more, which can keep him on the field a little bit more and get his usage rate up a little bit more.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_04]: But what he did on offense last week, I do think that war is a little bit more trust.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_04]: I think that war is a little bit more touches for him on offense.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: But I want to see everything come together for this team as far as health, get your Terry back.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_04]: They go along with everyone on the field.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_04]: It was a blessing in the sky, it's material you being out, you know, know a brown being out, Jaylin and Luke, they kind of had to grow up a little bit and I do think you saw some growth in those guys and then you want to see everything come together with one as a whole.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: To your past protection thing, I don't think anything is gotten better.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think they just say we're going to let Bill play.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that's not a bad thing.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: Bill
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't think they are lying when they say he has to work about he has to work at getting better playing without the ball, but you know, that doesn't mean that they can't keep them on the field.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was just a valid reason.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't like V-reason.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: It was just like they just had to figure out what the fuck baby was going to do and they said, you know, Bill, you know, you came out hot.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to keep you in the game until, you know, we got to take you out and you see Rob for some spail.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, it worked out in this favor.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I think I think you'll love it.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think the interesting thing was, it doesn't seem like going into the game, the plan was for Bill to be featured, it's just that the running bass coach at Anthony Lenn, you know, was like, let's keep feeding the hot end.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where, you know, I've been focusing on the running backbuck committee and even the wide receiver by committee is like, whoever got the hot hand, that's what you got to go to.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_03]: And in that game, he was in his bag, you know, he's shown opportunities to get skinny,
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: patients, some of the patients a little bit in the runs is reminding me of leaving on bell.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like it looked like it was moving a little slow motion for him and it's cutting his reads and it's interesting to see that.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, I think that Watson and just got to keep going with this momentum and it looked good having jaded and it felt good having jaded him back.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_03]: I think my main concern going into this matchup against Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears is that I feel like they will try to take advantage of the second areas like of consistent communication for sure.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_03]: I definitely see that happening so.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's that's something that I'm definitely a little bit concerned about going into this matchup Monday because even though the commanders won the game.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: uh... if it wasn't for some some hold in penalties the the charges with a converted on some huge place the second and twenty eight the third and thirty three like that they converted on those plays is that there was a hold in call uh... and that's pretty concerned and because stole superty must be by plays that don't happen at all like you know supposed to be given up no second and twenty eight and then the time right back around the next play
- 56:31[SPEAKER_03]: and give up a third and 33 is insane, like, yeah, so I guess we'll see if this communication improves on the back end, but I definitely think that Ben Johnson is going to guard his way to to test that communication level and definitely he shows some semblance of what the Packer's game plan was going to get to command as we too.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's go ahead close it there and we will come back with a full bears commanders preview on Thursday and hopefully get a little bit more word on audit did I guess the big three injuries for Washington, no.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: Terry and Sam as will all 32 is back tomorrow 7 p.m.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: each turn and again film session is live right now for the commanders offense
- 57:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm fur about, you know, it costs a little bit to, to edit and send videos out.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know if I'll be able to do the defense of one like through video, but it'll probably be on a halt to even if I have time to, if I have time to, if I have time to, to write something up.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, what about a second?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_02]: All the time in the world, right at this point.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_04]: But the more the saying you all is that kindly donate, there's a donate option.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_04]: You can do a lot more.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's kind of saying the economy.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: I can't.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's very, that's very intuitive right there, because I, you know.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, we'll be back one third, like author to two back tomorrow.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, let's build him and take it easy.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: Stay safe.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_02]: All right, all right, let's go.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_06]: That's it, huh?
- 58:21[SPEAKER_06]: Watchin' throw the ball, we gon' pick it up You gon' light them hit the hole, you gon' cut it up You gon' play through for the longer you gon' put it up You're the funny savvy hitters put your pants in Don't be lookin' for the rest, you don't don't fly again Keep the hell me know, keep the police tight You get tight, you wanna win by any means, right?
- 58:38[SPEAKER_06]: You should look alive, this is tryna die
