- 1:58[SPEAKER_03]: A new face to drop a dive.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I knew face the driver dive of Ryan Fowler, uh, formerly of the draft network, and he did some work with the commanders in some capacity.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_03]: That's when I started following him on social media, um, just don't know exactly.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to say he was writing, I'm not too sure, um, but commanders analysts.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be checking in with us today.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_03]: So some fresh perspective on the show.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_03]: All right, as I would have do play, are you feeling?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_06]: Good, man.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_06]: You know, just counting down the days and till we have Spain next week.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, just look forward to seeing the city
- 2:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'll say at this point, Brad, like I'm going a lot to you.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: There's no there's absolutely no What is this just today?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't I don't see how anything commanders related
- 3:12[SPEAKER_03]: I'll enjoy when I'm out there like I think that's my the frustrating thing about this trip is the fact that I'm going out there knowing that there's just there's nothing for me So just really you get behind like this is a losing season.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry to I'm sorry to kill up to show like this.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yo It's a losing season.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care if the commander's win because Mary Odes in there and have to have the team started on I are So commanders related
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: If you came here for encouragement, I'm going to spend the turn turn up at this point, bro.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, that's it.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_06]: Let me ask you this.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_06]: If, if Washington happens to win against Detroit, do you feel like they could turn around their season?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, hello.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm where are you?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it was to have this to win against Detroit.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_06]: Do you think they could turn around their season?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_03]: AJ, that's it.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_06]: OK, but I'll Swiss, I'll Swiss something else.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the question that you need to be asking it.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_06]: Go ahead, go ahead.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_06]: Hold on, I hope that those that are watching and living Virginia voted today.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_06]: And I hope that you did not vote for that black lady.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_06]: I will say that and I'm so glad that this is over with so I don't have to hear her damn commercials no more.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_06]: I don't have to see her damn face while I pray to God that they're black lady Earl Sears did not win and you didn't vote for her because boy, so your piece of shit.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so he's terrible.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, I don't know how to fit from the season stuff, but you know, we'll get into a bit more because I got a lot to speak about and I
- 5:06[SPEAKER_06]: uh, an agreement with me for the first time in a long time.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yes.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: So they're saying this fool's goal.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: Did you say that?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: Monty says Super Bowl bound.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_03]: Um, if that if we're beating Detroit, uh, the question that I was saying that you should have proposed is, how much are they going to win by?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's that's what I was thinking you was going to say.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but let's kind of.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: Paul's on the Detroit thing, man, let's kind of rehash some things that's happened over the past couple days.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_03]: We got a jade and update early Monday morning.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_03]: There has been conversation about dead line deals, what should have happened, what didn't happen.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_03]: We can talk about it for a little bit until we get straight to Ryan Fowler comes through.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_03]: So we got a little bit of time.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: Jaden Daniels as of the day, time in which we're streaming, his X-rays came back negative, no ligament, tendon, etc.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_03]: damage, no fracture.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that's cutting dry.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_03]: He was also not put on IR, right?
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: So, indicative of a potential return this season.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_03]: what the hell does, like, it doesn't hurt to put the man on short term IR.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't, he didn't got his ASWP injury wise.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_03]: The last three games he played in.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go ahead and put the man on short term IR and not even think about it.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so if they're entertaining the idea if I'm coming back, I know Jayden wants to do it, but let's can we just be real for once?
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: Um, that's my personal opinion about the situation.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I know he wants to play anybody on this show, even on social media.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: Y'all know, if Jay don't want to play and he's helping me have to do it, put him out there.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_03]: But I was before that before you fuck the same trick up, that before he broke, uh, he dislocated elbow.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: Just talking about a knee spring.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so two more things have happened since I said that, um, and, and generally speaking, I'm in that boat.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, yeah, I mean, I think I think it goes back to what we experienced Sunday when the game was a blowout.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_06]: And then Queen Kevin Minner said to take it him out and maybe learn me tonsu and Dvo out.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_06]: You're having another situation where
- 7:49[SPEAKER_06]: They can't put them well, they don't want to put them on IR because that means they're essentially giving up on the season and their messaging of maybe turning this around and getting the ball rolling will be flat-line and you'll completely lose the team because those guys are aware just like we're aware without even being in the locker room this team can possibly win or have a chance of winning without Jayden Danes.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_06]: whatever messaging you could give in that locker room is dead like it is dead the right.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_06]: So it's just one of those things where you could look at it as another opportunity of my practice or you could look at it as you know Jayden and Dan Quinn came to agreement to still let him push through.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_06]: But I just think that you know put him on IR pretty much sends the signal to the rest of the roster like this is over.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_06]: because the reality is, Mark is Mario does not jay the dance by any means of the measure.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so I think that's why they can't put them on.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's why they won't put them on IR because there's another situation that you gotta manage.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, I think they just feel like they might be able to tell things around.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_06]: Which,
- 9:09[SPEAKER_06]: could be the case.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying coaches and they want players.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_03]: They're always going for like they got shot.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_03]: I want to expect for them to turn it in and generally speaking again like I understand what you're saying based on those facts like they're never going to turn they're never going to quit.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: They also probably look at Jaden as that person who you know brings the optimism out of any situation, right?
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: Like there's always a chance
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I also think like the counterpoint to this like what if I don't I don't feel I'm I'm I don't feel comfortable asking this question because it's about the guy that I like I need we need we need bro, but like what if his elbow was damaged even more than what the MRI said like he came back clean in terms of like just just the dislocation.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: But what if his elbow was significantly more damaged?
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what does that mean?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_03]: Wow, are you going to avoid putting them on my IR then?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what does it take for them to realize like, yo, let this man rest up?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_03]: Because these next four games, at your injury rate this season, tell him about this season, injury rate this season.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like, we need to let you go ahead and take your time coming back.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_03]: We don't need to rush you.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_03]: Let's push you down and make sure that you are fully healthy.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: And in the event that Mark is Mario to in company turns things around.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: Let's get our guide back out there for the stretch of the season, for the final stretch of the season.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_03]: Um, because we can still make the playoffs.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's like Joe Burrow, right?
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I mean, I think about it, not literally.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not talking about literal injuries.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_03]: But they didn't rule him out for the season.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even think they put him on IR if I'm not mistaken because they can't do short-term IR with his injury.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_03]: But they also know they have no intention of playing them any time until he is possibly ready to go in December.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: But that means if he's not ready to go in December, they can still put him on IR and float in shut the season down.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: Especially if they're not winning, I don't think they won like three games.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_03]: or three and 11 by the time he's ready to return, he's not coming back.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I think they're just like bangles, Washington, and until you're officially eliminated from playoff convention, you got to keep that window of opportunity open from their standpoint.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_06]: I think as fans, you know, we think about them, what if it gets worse?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_06]: Whether you get it's Tommy John, what if something else gets hurt during the process, but for them,
- 11:47[SPEAKER_06]: their whole message is trying to put out the best the best guys out there to win.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_06]: And we all know that this team is nothing without Jaden Dames.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_06]: That's why a lot of what happened last here in this year is due to Jaden Dames.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_06]: He messed a lot of those things.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_06]: that you know where our deficiencies with the organization and the team overall roster wise and it's still happening this year.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's just that last year there were much healthier as a group as a unit.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_06]: This year when those injuries start happening, it really showed the deficiencies of the roster management of the team that Adam Peters has put together and it can't hold up.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_06]: So that's just my opinion overall.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's talk roster and Seattle fallout, all that stuff with Ryan, one quick hitting topic, and then we'll get to Ryan in a second, Dan amended his thought process or said that ignores that he should have made that actually, Ryan's just joined now so we can bring
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, let's bring in good man.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, Drake?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: How are you feeling, Brad?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: How are you feeling, play it?
- 13:09[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you got your audio together.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 13:25[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sick of shit, right?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a third old man, so I know I know that ain't no looking that could be an ST, no that's T straight T. Yeah, I know I know to do man I know to do you ever had a medicine ball from Starbucks?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know
- 13:49[SPEAKER_06]: Man, go ahead, order one, man.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's like, what's a medicine book?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, it's like a honey citrus mint hot tea.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna sound too sugary.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_03]: Sounds a little bit healthy.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_06]: No, I don't have no sugar in it for real.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I gotta make that trip to Starbucks tomorrow morning, anyway, Brad.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: Wake my ass up.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Ryan Fowler is joining us right now.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: I got to say it previously of the draft network and the Washington Commanders is Commanders Analyst and draft expert.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go ahead and get our guy in first time on the show, man.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: What's going on Ryan, how are you feeling?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: What's up fellas?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: already.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so, you know, sometimes when I see your tweets, I'm like, I can't like this tweet enough, um, especially during the games, uh, I think this is off the top of my head, so I may be misquoting you, but I got the gist.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: Um,
- 14:51[SPEAKER_03]: the lack of running sometimes, especially like on an open and drive, I think you mentioned that against the Seattle.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: I think you mentioned an aspect of which, you know,
- 15:04[SPEAKER_03]: on the defensive side of the ball, like there's nothing available for Washington that Joe Whit can call and, you know, it works.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like, the players just can't get on the same page, but then you also have comments on Joe Whit, the coordinator himself.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't, this season has been a,
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: kind of disaster.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_03]: We're in my opinion.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_03]: We're you at with the way in which this season has gone and what do you think is like the biggest pinpoint of why they have gotten to where they are?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, trying to stay positive guys, right?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: It mean three and six is not much to be positive about, but I think at the end of the day,
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, what's really unfortunate is really within the front seven on the pencil side of the ball, you know, you brought in guys, they de-tric wise and don't start strong and javon can law ID Goldman and a couple of those guys have been available, but you know, losing those players the last few weeks and early on with de-tric.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and you're now asking players like Vaughn Miller, you're asking players like Jacob Martin at 245, completely different body types to do different things of what they asked guys, 30 pounds, 40 pounds heavier to do early on in this season.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: So now you're not only asking different personnel to fit your scheme, you're asking certain body types that you asked to play a NASCAR package, the Dante Fowler role from last year,
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: to play on first and second down, and then pin their ears back and get after the pastor.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Let alone before we ever get to Bobby Wagner, man coverage against C.D.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Layman, Brezhon Robinson, or we ever talk about what that, what in the world is going on on the back end with the second area.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I wish, Jamal, I wish, man, I could pinpoint it as far as one thing and say, this is the issue, this is the problem.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a short term fix.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's a long term fix.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think where the commanders are right now, bottom line,
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta get some young players on the field that gotta shop up and compete every single day for you and find those guys that you had.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: Cause I know it's a shame.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: The last five years before the Adam Peters stuff to where you missed and missed and missed and missed as far as you can evaluate yourself out of a paper bag.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta find guys that can play for you and all three phases of the game.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: And right now it's a lack of effort.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's a lack of just competing in the man in front of you.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it's completely embarrassing for a roster that obviously came off in the end of the title last year.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's a real shame.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_06]: So when we focus on, you know, that's out of ball defensively, and like you said, and I agree with you, it looks like Adam Peter's strategy was to improve the line offensively and defensively, especially defensively with sudden edge with, you know, Javanke Law and and Wise and their versatility.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_06]: And now, you know, Wise just hurt and Jacob Martin and Vaughn Miller having to play more of these snaps versus second down like you said,
- 17:58[SPEAKER_06]: Where do we put the blame on Adam Peters and his roster construction?
- 18:03[SPEAKER_06]: Because we do think about and you even kind of alluded to it.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_06]: The previous regime under Robert Vera and missing on these picks.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_06]: Well, Adam Peters has been able to run the show for the last two years for you to see and draft wise.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_06]: Where do we put the blame on him and the ingredient that he brought to the kitchen for Joe with Jr. and Dan Quinn to be able to solidify their defensive ideology in how they were able to be so productive as far as creating turnovers because I don't think I expected them to be a top five defense, but I expected them to create turnovers at a high cliff.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_06]: by how they did in Dallas and they haven't been able to do that.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_06]: How do you feel about Adam Peters' roster construction from a defense standpoint and even offensive league?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's a great question and I think obviously the approach from Adam this offseason was we realize, you know, or even back to last year looking at starting at the deadline beyond when they had more Sean.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's hey, we're in a window right now.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's damn tough to win the NFL.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to make a run for this thing.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to bring in a guy like Marshall lot more than the offseason.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to bring in a debo.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to bring in a
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: heading into this draft, the commander's absolutely needed an end-trusher.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: There is no excuse for them leaving April without an end-trusher.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: One of my favorite players personally in the draft was Donovan Ezoraku.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: That was available on the board for them to take whenever whether it was late round one.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so that was a guy that now in Dallas, that's been a hell of a ball player.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm not going to sit here and try to pat my back.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as evaluation, you've got to find guys that are going to compete for you and show up right away.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: And you needed an ad russia away from your approach, which was ad veterans, ad bigger bodies, these throwback type of ad setters, in Javan Kim law, in Dietrich Weiss, Eddie Goldman, the beef in the middle, plug in the A&B gaps.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't work.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: But at the end of the day for me too, I'm not going to feel bad for anything that Adam Peters has done or what the commanders have done because they weren't going to sneak up on anybody this year and at the end of the day I took a peek out west to the San Francisco 49ers that consistently battled injury year after year and there without Brock party and they were without Brandon and you can George kill and spurts and they've lost Warner and Nick Bosa.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: And they got a lot of young players too, and they're having them show up at the peak and they're six and three in the best division in all the football.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's a lot of different things when I look at Adam Peters, where you can blame him on not hitting on certain draft picks.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: and not really even having a lot of capital or not addressing certain positions in the draft when you went there in free agency.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: But then also, you know, trying to look at it last year and say, man, Jane Daniels can really mask our inefficiencies and other side of the ball.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Let's try to add some veteran stop gaps and see what we have.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what the process was.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: Jane's off the field, and you guys can see the roster holes from there.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_06]: So Ryan real quick before I let my partner
- 20:58[SPEAKER_06]: If we look at Adam Peters last two drafts and my personal opinion, the only thing that he's hit on, Greencheck is Jayden Daniels, how do you feel about the last two draft classes?
- 21:12[SPEAKER_06]: And do you view anybody else as a hit?
- 21:16[SPEAKER_03]: I personally think it's too soon to get my opinion out there.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I know what I'm doing.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_06]: I think my thing is...
- 21:26[SPEAKER_06]: Ryan, you played pick up basketball, right?
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: I played well, yes, sir.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_06]: So when you go to play pick up basketball, how long do you need to know that the guys on the court can play or not?
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, I hear you.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_06]: That that's how I feel.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I do, when I know everybody, you need more time to see these guys play.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_06]: How much damn time do you need?
- 21:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm in the same boat as you, Brad.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like certain players, and it's their fault, because they drafted projects.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_03]: They didn't draft people, come out straight away and start hoping.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: Some of them, but I'm with you.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel like a little too soon.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: But my bad one, you got to flirt.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're good.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're good.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a great question.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I, you know, you guys know, you see athletes, you can tell right away how it even what they wear or how they walk, right?
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell if they can play ball or not.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: But in this case for the NFL, I will say this.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think it is too soon.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I usually try to give myself at least two years, at least to value in a draft class, but if you are a guy that's drafted to be a core contributor, like a Johnny Newton, like a Ben Senate, like a Luke McAfrey to come in as a wide receiver three has it been enough?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: For me and as far as the last two years away from Jayden, the real player that I would say is a clear miss for me has been Benson it because they did not draft him to be a guy that sticks his face in the mud like John Bates because I can have Colson yank off do that they drafted Benson it to be an F weapon to be really the hair apparent
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: to Zach Hurts.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember on draft night when they drafted him on day two at a K state, I had to scout text me, say they just shot, they just overdrafted this kid by about three rounds.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because he can't run.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's the direct words I'm a scout in the AFC North.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: And literally, as what we've seen now, is what that's what's happened.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know what the future is for there, but that one pick, Ben Simn has been a miss for me, but I will say this.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Sinner still has not forgotten how to play football.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been good this year.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Brandon Coleman in year one was a hit for me as far as the ups and downs in the bad against Tampa Bay, Nya-ya-ya-diabi.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then you got, I mean, Jacore Croskey merit seventh rounders been one of the top rookies running backs.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say that's a hit so far as well, but I'm right there with you.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: You need more from everybody, specifically your top hundred picks, and I grew with Jacoma, like I got you.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm going to kind of get back to this season.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: What the focus going forward should be.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: Now I know you said we should be in a value.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_04]: Weissia mode, and I agree 100%, we should be in a value way to what you have now, because going to the all season, we don't know how many needs we're going to have.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_04]: So you're going to start checking off the boxes and saying, this guy can do it or this guy can't.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_04]: This is about the time to do that.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: But what that said, the interesting thing to me today is that Jaden was a put on IR.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_04]: Now I know a lot of the probably fan consensus
- 24:06[SPEAKER_04]: But if Jayden can come back saying four weeks or so, do you think they play them or do you think the smart idea is to shut them down for the season?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_04]: Because you're probably not competing for the playoffs.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, guys.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, it's the Joe Burrow situation for me.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: It really is.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know they haven't put him on IR the injury situation with him.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't put him on torture.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, I wouldn't rush five back under center considering what's on the outside.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what the really situation is with Terry McLaren, you know, Debo is a name that was thrown around today at the deadline.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what is their future at the position?
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because if it's the same jag, Joel and out there like Chris Moore, you know, I feel bad for any quarterback.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's gonna have to go out there and play with those players.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's a shame, you know.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I think right now you let Jade and rest up.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_00]: You let him get his healthy as he possibly can.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just, I feel bad for the kid.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: I really do as far as who was on the outside.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: But right now, I'm not putting them on.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, on I are, I'm just really giving him as much time as I can before I can put him out there hopefully make a stretch to the wild car ground.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's really where I'm at with things.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_03]: Do you do you think they should have been active or at least got I don't know they probably could have been active, but do you think that they should have made some deals like been aggressive in selling whoever it is that she thought that they could sell at this point, what do you think about the trade deadline like they're a noise like they're up stuff like that.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm right there with you, you know all the should have been sellers now you got to have a take care.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: Right, you can't just, you know, send somebody off for 20 bucks in the Big Mac meal and say, hey, yeah, that's what you're going to get.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: You had to find some value for some players, but I think when you look at the expiring contracts that the commanders have, whether it was, you know, a Nick, I like ready or an Andrew Wiley, or a Noah Ike Benogany, certain players like that, that maybe you could get even a mid to late third round pick and maybe
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: couple four or five of those to move up around or two, you know, at least try to do something because around the division of the Eagles ad jailing Phillips and they're consistently moving in evaluating the Dallas did something is Quinn Williams going to be a guy that's, you know, try to find that parallel the Micah Parsons contributions, no, but in the giants, they're somebody that's found a little something with Jackson Dart.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: And right now the commander's are playing the worst ball really my opinion the division and really have any team in football.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought they should have been sellers trying to get something on the middle portions of day three to at least give you more proverbial charts at the dark board and next year's draft or you could be the New York Jets and get three three ones for the 2027 draft looks absolutely loaded.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, can I go real quick?
- 26:32[SPEAKER_04]: Is I want to ask who would you think will be?
- 26:34[SPEAKER_03]: I was still here.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: Or is that just is this a joy right now?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_03]: Can you?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: Are you back now?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: You back now.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, I wanted to act real quick.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_04]: Who would have been a realistic tree person on this thing?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_04]: Well, who would have had the most realistic value?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: Because I've seen some places where they say Andrew wildly probably was your most realistic tree option on the team.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_04]: But I felt like at the wrong pain or somebody like that because I would have been personally filed with selling anything that had value.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm a little surprised that we didn't have to be tree or sell anything.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_04]: So who do you think we had any realistic tree
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely, and it's a great question, because I'm there with you.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: I do think it's Wiley, and again, Debo Samuel was the name that was thrown out there over these last few days at once.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I think Andrew was a guy that has extreme experience, you know, simple balls of Kansas City, play right tackle your last year, has some swing guard potential if you need to put them there.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: There's some value there, but again, we're not talking
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: you know, top third round picks 100, you know, top hundred picks or anything like that.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: Just some sort of value to try to get some more picks because as of right now, there's just guys.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know a thing about twenty twenty six in April as far as where this team's going to go.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't sit here and say, hey, Caleb Bounds are our village from Iowa State.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say one guy's going to change everything because there are so many holes.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I wish they would have made a move or two whether it was a headline or not to try to get some picks for next year.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I guess Ryan, we're gonna go ahead and pretend that this is April 2,026 and with the 8th pick and the 2,026 NFL Draft, the Washington Commander Select.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_06]: I love it.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: You want me to get a pick?
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm off.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'll go, look, I think we go anywhere, but I'll go RVL Reese.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'll go RVL Reese from Ohio State, get you a core contributor in the middle of your defense, hybrid peace, can really contribute multiple phases if you have to.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're in the best players in college football right now.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think honestly, right now looking at both Cornell Tate and Caleb Downs and his teammates at Ohio State as far as 20, 26 eligible guys, he may be the first of those three drafts and we get to April.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: That was real impromptu bacon.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_03]: on the flat right there, right, shout out to you.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_03]: So if you have the name like one to two players on each side of the bow, given the injuries taking the injuries in the context and things that's moving around in the roster.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_03]: But one to two players on each side of the bow that you would like to see more of during these last or the second half of the season, given the state of the roster, who are those two or one to two on each side of the bow, who are those two three will?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_03]: for you.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also a great question.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: On offense, I'll say this.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think Bill Merritt's going to be an easy one, specifically because he's been really on the ball last month, but I'll go Benson on offense.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll also go, I'll go to Cory Brooks.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think the young kid should get some opportunities on the outside.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: If he cannot play Robby chosen and Tray Lomburks, then might as well just call it a call today.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's a talented kid, you know, former all-world group at Alabama, Mr. Everything in the ACC,
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: at Louisville, he deserves some opportunity.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I think those two guys on offense, on defense, I want to see Caine Madrono.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: Let Caine Madrono fly around.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he maybe doesn't fit the A typical even modern hybrid role or the body type of a modern day linebacker, but let him fly around and let him put him next to Jordan McGee.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: Put it in two linebacker sets, get Bobby Wagner's slow ass off the field and get your athletes in the middle of this field and let's make some plays.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's embarrassing.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: You got Bobby Wagner.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's ridiculous.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_06]: But Ryan, you have thing came with Donald in run fits.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you have.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_06]: From a collegiate standpoint and preseason wise.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_06]: That is why he's now on the food.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: I hear you, but I think you need, you still need more speed.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: Just creep over the top where they still haven't been able to seal the edge since 2007.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man, I hear you and that's why I said he doesn't fit that eight typical body type because Bobby Wagner's great.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: I can have you fit the run in the A&B gap.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I also need you to run the friend Jerry's because anything beyond the tackles Bobby Wagner's five steps behind and just wave it down the sideline.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's embarrassing.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_04]: It was the worst second hack in AJ.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to score this.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_06]: What's the worst thing that happened is came with Drono and his whole NFL
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: is nasty like I think that's I think with that too, not to interrupt you, but I think with that too, one thing has to get better at is half-maning offensive linemen.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: He wants to take on the full man guards and centers at him.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's got to work on half-maning people and get knock blocks.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's obviously something that's good.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: That comes with snaps, too, right?
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's got to get the opportunity as well.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I guess I'm I'm trying to really keep a lot of this conversation on
- 31:29[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of people blame Joe with Junior, Dan Quinn, but I want to know what is your percentage of the blame of how this season has truly went.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_06]: Like who has the higher percentage?
- 31:40[SPEAKER_06]: Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, or Joe with Junior?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_06]: Or Matt.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_06]: Let's even throw Cliff in there.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_06]: Because my second question.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_06]: I want to talk to you about Cliff too.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_06]: How do you even view his offense?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is the identity of this offense at this point?
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: you know, as far as where they want to run out of what they're doing, what they're tied to and who's pulling away are they're extremely predictable even look at the footwork of the guards when they when they're in pistol their eight typical pistol formation on early downs.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's extremely predictable.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: as far as what they're doing.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: But overall with Cliff King's very, you know, it's really all these guys, you know, that she just mentioned, I wish I really could put a finger of blame on it because I am all in support of, yeah, they're the coaches and they're on the sidelines.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: We got to talk about the guys that are executing or asked to execute that are sharp enough.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: Dan Quinn's on an helmet, Joe Witt's on an helmet.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: And you don't even have really the guys that you want
- 32:34[SPEAKER_00]: on the football field.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't make out at a one play without losing loop McAfrey, who looks like an all-proper turn or this year?
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then he lose more shallot or more and that's fine, he can go somewhere else.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: But it's just, it's really ridiculous when you look up this thing from a close lens and a wide lens as far as you can at the schemes wrong, you can't play man, you can't play zone, the runs predictable, oh, here it goes.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, it goes no other body, you're losing on the outside.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's ridiculous.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty ridiculous, guys.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: It just gets worse, week after week after week.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_06]: Would you fire Adam Peters or Dan Quinn going into next year or you keep the ball rolling and I guess that's the question for you, Ryan and my co-host, Molly and Dre.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't know I'm firing coordinators before I fire any culture, GM.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but no, right in his the issue, we we were having this debate me and AJ.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_04]: The thing is if you fire Adam Peters, you know, after his year two, then you're putting another GM that's pretty much going to be taking over the same situation that Adam Peters took over when he did for Robert Bear and you're in another situation with a new GM he comes in he asked the gut the roster again because he doesn't like what he sees and then you want to give him to you.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_06]: Adam Peters has only solved the quarterback position, which any one of us, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, any famous blind person could have done picking at number two.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_06]: Other than that, the same exact holes that existed with Ron Vera still exist with Adam Peters, and we're going into year three.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_06]: So that's where it's just like, can you allow him to keep picking?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I think it's something we talked a little about earlier as far as specifically with last year to where you went all in because of what Jane was doing into maximizing and accelerating in this rookie window.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, where you try to make so many moves, right, with tonsils and specifically Debo, and then bring in the stopgap veterans.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was, that's tough, and you can't predict injuries, right, at the end of the day.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I think the only thing that is a question about fire-ruble offense is keeping Jane in the ballgame down 30 and the fourth quarter.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's the only thing you could possibly say, hey, look, that's a fire-ruble offense.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: If you're looking specifically at Cliff King's very, but I think Adam Peters, you know, you can't predict the injuries, maybe you can look in the next year,
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: We get the injuries.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: They'll try to stay a little healthier if we can.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: You can't predict him.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it's part of the game.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: You got to step up.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Got to hit on some more draft picks and have some guys step up in your two or your three.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: But you hit on your superstar under center.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: And as long as you have him, you're going to have a chance in ball games.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of where I'm at.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_06]: I'm spitballing, but
- 35:17[SPEAKER_06]: What do y'all think about Mike?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_06]: I think he's out as the head coach of Miami Dolphins.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_06]: What do you think about him possibly replacing Cliff King's Barry as OC versus elevating those internally like it to be a preacher or David Brown?
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not breaking any news here, but that's already.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: I've had some conversations with a few folks that's already.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Cliff King's break goes elsewhere.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's potential for Mike McDonald in Washington for sure.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: Not for any lose.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: Not trying to save my gang of Washington, but I'm just throwing it out there.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_03]: You're just saying it's something to at least listen to.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yeah.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm here for it.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I did like, I think what was interesting,
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: going into year two was the fact that they was able to retain all of their staff offensively and like I think that was a big deal because it's very rare in the NFL to have all of your staff say, look, let's stay here, let's let's get this done, let's get this taken care of and then for.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_03]: this this staff to be so stay or the office of production of be so still despite who was that quarterback.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: Um, because honestly, I got a lot to you around.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: I was telling them, it's like, I think the first half of the season for Jayden when he was healthy, uh, it wasn't, uh, super impressive in the sense of like what it looked like last year, he was off a little bit.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but I think from a actual production and a physics standpoint, you already said it, I'm not going to rehash it.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_03]: It is predictable.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's become predictable.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_03]: The run game is like taking a dramatic drop.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and it seems like there's an overcovering despite who is out there on your offensive line or who is healthy at tight in to help in line.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so yeah, I don't know.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm here for us is if you can change something up and give Mike me day in the second chance, especially with another top 10 court of a top 10 quarterback.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_03]: that you can work with.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_03]: I think I think you can have some fun with Mike Madez and and I find I mean like actual elite production.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: So and even with that too, it's for a lot of guys, like it's it's okay to be just a coordinator.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like for Cliffs perspective, like I don't know what happens with him next, whether he stays the NFL ranks or goes back to college, whatever or stays in Washington, but it's okay to just be a coordinator instead of taking on the roles of a head coach, like look at Ben Johnson.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of people like Ben Johnson, but as far as who he is as an individual in a leader of men, I mean, Dan Campbell, the comparisons there, right, are very, very drastic.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: So it's okay sometimes to just be a guy to sit in your office and draw up plays and get your guys' touches, and that's exactly what Mike Medanio looks like.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's a complete goofball.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: He is a goofball, if I was a player, that's my head coach, I mean, that's maybe a hard guy to rally around, but as an offensive coordinator, that's a hell of an offensive genius.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: It already has been in Washington as you guys know.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Jerry, what's your cool, you cool with the McDaniels, right?
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't really have too much of an opinion on it.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's a guy.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, obviously he's ran pretty good offense and my any, I mean, honestly, I wouldn't need to be mad with somebody like a McCarthy or Mike McCarthy.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that guy's always been go over court of X. I mean, if you're getting rid of Cliff, I do want an office that comes in here kind of like running in West Coast office, like those type of offices.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, maybe somewhere along those lines.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_06]: A one thing that Ryan excuses our co-hosted rays a little bit under the weather.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_06]: You said Mike McCartney Apologize on his behalf of his coordinator Yeah, there's my one so I'm still apologize.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm all you've been happy Here's my one thing you know how people it's my last thing for you.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate your time, bro my one thing with Anybody that does come in if they do come in
- 39:08[SPEAKER_03]: next year, it's a replaced cliff.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I hate when people like say, this is one thing that we don't have.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_03]: So I went all with the next person, but I don't mean it in that way.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: But Cliff, the lack of motions and the single assignments for your receivers is one thing, but also like we have no understanding again.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think it was a big deal when the season started, but when we started losing in the office started looking bad, and I realized that Washington is drastically worse or uses the least under-centered snaps in the NFL, compared to even the 30th team in the NFL.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like, Washington is 32 at one point, I think it was like, we four, we five.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, they had like six or seven snaps under center.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: Even the 30th ranked
- 40:02[SPEAKER_03]: All friends in the NFL Ryan had like 20 25 something like that.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: And I can imagine what we are in week nine.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so I think my main thing is like, there's so much that you can build it off if you change your formations and your alignments.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and to the predictable point, like he has no use of understanding.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I think that's the same honestly.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, even look at the right, the third one against Chicago, right?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: There's no reason to be in pistol on a third and one there.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's just not, I don't care who you have.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like, get your ass under center and go forward.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you need two place, that's an area.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: You get the third and one.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: You win that football game year four and two and you're completely different spot, even right now in a matter of what's happened in the last few weeks.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I agree with you, get under center that there's no play action game.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: You already have in bodies come at you and even in pistol for the ball to go back for, to go forward, the line of scrimmage
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: Your body types up front are these big wide body types that Cliff Kingsbury is always like doesn't have a lot of
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: athletic moogers.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Chris Paul, I mean, I credit to him.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great job.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's done a great job in past pro.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: Tonks of athletic, Connolly's athletic, Cosmese athletic, Beatish, specifically in Chris Paul, or just kind of linear A to B, just run blockers, and I just think over all right now, you're not creating creases.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're not ceiling people.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a little bit of everything encompassing right now for this offense, from play calling to execution to a lack of talent.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's a shame.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_03]: Amen.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_03]: The floor is a plug, anything, and everything that you got going on.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_03]: I knew you were a draft work in the commandage at some point.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_03]: I was saying I started following these with the commandage.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure where you are now, but that the people know where they can find you.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on X underscore Ryan Fowler.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: We don't follow me there already.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: My podcast commanding the Huddle is on all podcast platforms, two episodes a week.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can also find my work on a national analyst for fanside it.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I also do stuff and inspiration for Hogshaven as well.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, here it is.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, team mates, I didn't realize that we're, I was like, we're as explanation.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's what's up, man.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we'll look, man.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_03]: Ryan, follow me.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: So y'all tapping with him.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_03]: I check out his work, Ryan.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: A.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_03]: B.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_03]: Safe to rest of this week.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: And, um, no, stay strong.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_03]: Let me see.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_03]: That's all I got to say.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Trying to try and guys, I appreciate your colors.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_03]: Take care.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_03]: Wow, there we go.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_03]: All right, let's do a break, break, break, quick and then let's close the show with, I bet reading something.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_03]: Let's close the show with our final thoughts on wherever the hell we gotta talk about.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_03]: But look, man, I know what time it is.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_03]: Football season is in full swing and underdog is the best place to get on on all the action.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: Are you ready to get off the bench and into the game?

- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: This week,
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: This is going to be a fun game.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_03]: Division rivalry.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_03]: It is a little spicy.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's going to be a blow.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_03]: And I think, excuse me.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think Denver is, let's see.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_03]: Because I could have sworn, I saw.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, hey, how much did they favor by Jerry?
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm trying to find out now.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_03]: I could have sworn it was like nine point favorites.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're not in the half point.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_03]: I got it.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_03]: Not in the half point favorites.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think off the top of my head, I think the raiders are going to cover that.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_03]: But where am I looking at right now underdog?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, ashen Jenssey is much as I think he's a dog.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_03]: I was two picks away from winning four bands.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I needed Jenssey to hit 60.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_03]: That boy hit 45.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: And he was trying hard to sell.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go lower on his Russian yards at 55 and a half.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_03]: He my dog though.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go Brock Bowers, higher, 66 and a half receiving yards.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's my dog too.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_03]: Troy Franklin, that's AJ Gaff.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to go higher on his receiving yards, right?
- 44:55[SPEAKER_03]: Bonyx, higher on his passing yards at 216 and a half, I hate that jinties, the one person that I'm doing lower than him, but you know what it is, let's recap this, Bonyx, higher 216 and a half passing yards, jinties, lower 355 and a half, rushing yards.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: Brock Bowers, higher 66 and a half receiving yards, and Troy Franklin, higher 40 and a half receiving yards.

- 46:47[SPEAKER_04]: He signs up.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_04]: He has a lot of the idea.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_06]: No, but here's the, here's the thing, right?
- 46:54[SPEAKER_06]: So the, the lady that I'm dating, that's my girlfriend.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_03]: actually play to do some other day about a way more I mean it was random but yes okay yeah I'm gonna say that I say that I say it what he's he plays parlay so we have a lot of you know I know you mean you know we were talking but I'm like you see on the deal somebody imagine my face when he said it like he was like oh yeah he had it like he had it like that and he had it like that and he had it like that and so
- 47:29[SPEAKER_06]: On Saturday, Drake did meter, so yeah, the next the next one in the future mall, your meter is well, but yeah, she like, she like, don't apart legs, but I'm like, that's not wasting your damn money.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_06]: as he'd be letting him like give her pigs.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_06]: He'd be hitting.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_06]: But what happens is, she played his flips for him and let him keep the money.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_06]: Oh wow.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_06]: So he bet hitting, but I'm just concerned because it's like, I mean, well, I got 13-year-old son.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_03]: Look, you get 70%, we keep it 30.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_03]: We keep it 30.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_03]: We keep it 30, we keep it 30.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_03]: You ain't it, you keep this 70% bread.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_03]: That's all you need.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_06]: Man, I'm like, I keep it 30%.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't want a little man to start doing that.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_06]: When he gets, that's my only question.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_04]: But you know what, AJ is funny because you know my son's 14 and he told me that somehow some kids in his school would have found the look around with AB bat.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you got to be 18 the bat.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_04]: He got friends in school that be on fan building draft teams.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_04]: They'd have found the like the youngest of us.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm saying.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not surprised, bro.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_06]: They, because you know, there's somebody of Asian in the high school or something.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_06]: Don't worry a little bit of bread.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't gonna lie to you right, bro.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_03]: It's too late.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, yeah, that boy.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_06]: That boy That's too late, bro.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think yeah, I think Drake mean you I know for so I was right for all sort, but I know you did it for a long time
- 49:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you do.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm OG.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_03]: I'm OG and shit.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I think Jay Tizzy, we were talking on social media too.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like offshore, bro.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's, I've been around for a while.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't coming here when these all these legal onshore sports books became
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: out there, bro.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's where the artist is coming from.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like, they go on crazy, bro.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_03]: And like, you back to 13 year old, touching this stuff, bro.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, not, not criticized and heard, but I'm just saying, Jenny, because kids be kids beyond that, bro.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like, they, they only 13 and in high school, bro, imagine when they 20.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's all the same, man, but I mean, this is the topic that we, we've been discussing.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_06]: I've been trying to tell it like, because I think, I think my thing, even though we just did an every, it's just like, people don't look at it as gambling, and look at it as like playing mad in or too gay, because it's so, because it's so like virtual and handy, you don't have to step into a casino to do it.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_06]: So, I don't know, man, but, you know, God bless y'all par lays,
- 50:18[SPEAKER_06]: And hopefully, hopefully, one of y'all boys hit good before the end of the year.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_03]: I got me a couple of ones already, but that that that took care of some deal.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm what especially during the Frollo, it can't click.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_03]: So it took care of bills.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a lot to hang in in a couple a couple a little bit in Houston.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_03]: Houston was amazing by the way.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he was over there.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_06]: Fagan like he was that Afro tech.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_06]: I wasn't that for what what what technology did you use outside the Instagram and your contacts?
- 50:52[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, I'm that I'm that super tech savvy.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_03]: So you know, I know shit I went there to I went there to learn And I saw a juvenile
- 51:06[SPEAKER_03]: I saw Juvenile on stage, bro, Juvenile on OT Genesis, bro.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_06]: Bro, you ain't say you learned about some AI or some coding.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_06]: You say you think Juvenile, and what's up with the hell of who?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's not my fault, they have the concert.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm supposed to do this, not go.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's what he was there for.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_03]: There, bro.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: That drive looked like it looked legit, man.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_06]: That we're going to make the next half of attack.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_06]: We saw it.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I ain't going a lot to you.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: We ain't got nothing to say.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think I think we good there, bro.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: Unless you're, unless we miss it something.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Glory.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they, they, they don't.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_03]: He's trying to train a lot of birds to the 53.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, did it.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_03]: Lucas on IR, Marsha, I'm a lot of more on IR.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, j-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-J-JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ
- 52:06[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let me actually, before I get out of here, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited,
- 52:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it's just, I think it's just a habit.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_06]: So like even for example, if y'all are around this week, I'm gonna go support Arabia at her event at Swingers.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_06]: She having like a lion's versus commander's wife party.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna support her.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, and I feel it was better to do on Sunday's at this point.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_06]: So, and we still cover in the team.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, whatever happens, I think.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_06]: it's just the the waiting game to see what Josh Harris does.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_06]: I think that that basketball mentality kicks in.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think that he's going to sit around and be idle.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_06]: So we don't know if DQ save, we don't know if AP save, we don't know it.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_06]: AP gets fired.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_06]: We don't know if DQ gets fired.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_06]: We don't know.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that's the most intriguing thing for me.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_06]: That's true.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_06]: So who replaces possibly these coordinators?
- 53:36[SPEAKER_06]: Because I think you can't bring back Joe with Jr. No matter how much you may love him.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_06]: Cliff, there's way too many college jobs open for him not to get one of those.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_06]: and get paid out hastily and I think my thing that I'm looking forward to and I've kind of heard the same ramblings as Ryan alluded to, Mike McDaniel's coming to Washington is a real thing as OC.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: All right, um, quick critters and we get about it here.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_03]: I see it in the chat.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I appreciate you by watching a lot.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: I think the light button hit the subscribe button.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, thoughts on Louisville and it's Mikey going to be playing outside corner now.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_03]: So let's go ahead and and tackle those two and then we can get up out of here.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, Monty, let's start with, let's start with his first thoughts on Frankie Louville.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_03]: He did get suspended on yesterday for his hip drop tackles apparently he got fine for three what I do remember two of me got fine for But apparently clearly he got a third one this past Sunday So that was called for suspension he's gone I wonder two things I wonder who's more a place them but also like Luke who his impact suspended all season
- 54:54[SPEAKER_06]: This is first.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_03]: I bought this out.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_03]: See how drain any catch it.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_03]: So I bought it say Luvu is not added like a super impactful game where his stamp is on it.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like, I wonder if you're going to miss him.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think you will.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just interested in seeing who's going to be playing.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't even think it's a role that's going to be carved out for anybody else.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_03]: I just think it's going to be a way.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_06]: I think he produces a pill.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_06]: He'll win this a pill.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_06]: You think something?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he'll win this a pill.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_04]: But he may not, but I mean, thought some of the people, he just, he, he, he has been disappointed, like you can't point to anywhere, but he's had any impact on the game, like he did last year, it was several games, like you know this little girl's presence, he was violent, he was fast to the spot.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_04]: was which makes you wonder how did it go from that to this this season when you barely hear his name card in games, you know, see him often the most we've heard about him all season is this hip drop as a special thing like no impact and that along with the other guy that we're going to get it to Mikey Sanderson to guys who had impacts in so many games last year just not do it this year and that's what you just wonder are
- 56:03[SPEAKER_04]: players just, you know, not good or already asked what they are been at.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_04]: We know Mikey's asked me to be, he's been asked to do something different.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_04]: But Franky Luther, we just haven't seen that impact, and I just don't know, you know, if you're going to miss that impact, it wasn't any there.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_04]: But hopefully you see, you know, if I could came in Toronto, get more snaps now, and, you know, maybe even what's the other thing?
- 56:24[SPEAKER_04]: I like Kyle.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_04]: You know, maybe bit him out there, you know, so just see something different, maybe somebody maybe different person they'll show something different.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_04]: That's all we got at this point.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_04]: It's really nothing else to look forward to.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I think Mike you goes outside, of course, and Jonathan Jones was sliding to the slide.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_06]: I think there were even, they worked a little bit of
- 56:51[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I just think that Mikey's still gonna be asked on the outside as well.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_06]: So hey.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think it's a perfect start for a process elimination, bro.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_03]: Um, like I know people got their plans on Mikey.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I don't think he was good in the slide at all.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like I know he had his moments especially like playmaking on the football.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_03]: That's one thing.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but I also feel like.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_03]: I also agree with Ryan, like he knows how to play football, like he didn't just suddenly stop learning how to play, but I also feel like this is one of these situations.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_03]: If you are struggling in these last stretch of games, don't have harsh arms on how you are.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_03]: As an outside boundary corner, then like we kind of understand.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: where you fall in the total pull.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that means he gets cutter traded.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_03]: I just think like there's going to be more priority to replenish this secondary at the corner by position, specifically knowing that we can't really sit here and trust that you can be our starter in 2026.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: So that's kind of where I'm at with Mikey.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_03]: I think this trial period or second term at outside corner is going to help them decide some things.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_06]: I think Mikey's to transition to FreeSafe the eBay of these there.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't know if they're gonna do that, but I'm with Mall, I mean, this is a process of elimination.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: Put it back on the outside where he did see some success last year.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I personally think Mikey's more successful, you know, in some situations where you can kind of read and react to a court of adverse kind of play a man, but you have to play man at some point, but even the way, I am interested to see, if, you know, he does move back to the outside if this becomes better form,
- 58:37[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, you want to get somewhere similar to what that guy was trending towards last year, because at the last year or at least during last year, no one had the opinion that Mike was asked.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_04]: Or, you know, Mike, he was sorry.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the most you were like, man, this is an ascending, you know, prospect or cornerback in his lead or at least on this team.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_04]: And now this year, the whole sentiment is different, completely different.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I want to see, you know, if he's
- 59:03[SPEAKER_04]: if that's the key, because the slide hasn't been funded like you know, it wasn't good to touch you either, so we'll see.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we'll, we'll sleazy.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_03]: I want you to know that it's definitely a secondary problem too, but I'm, all I'm, we're, all we're discussing is two questions in the chat.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_03]: So, but I do appreciate checking in, Jim.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_03]: I, I think that front four night getting any pressure is a, is a, is a big deal too.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_03]: That's no advantage of what's about it.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like,
- 59:30[SPEAKER_03]: Sam Donald got pressure like three times on like 30 drop-ups.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I do not disagree with you at all but in terms of figuring out that secondary that is just as big.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's figuring out that other that front four.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_03]: All right, that's gonna wrap it up for us.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_03]: The faculty will be back on Thursday.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_03]: All 32 is up to Marvel and what we got to do a game preview burn.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_04]: It's still a season, it's still a season.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Grain's left, right?
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_04]: We're going, man.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_07]: Damn, said, huh.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_07]: Watchin' throw the bump.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_07]: We gon' pick it up.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_07]: You gon' light them hit the hole that you gon' cut it up.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_07]: You gon' play through four for longer.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_07]: You gon' put it up.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_07]: You're the furnace after you hit it, put your pads in.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_07]: Don't be lookin' for the ref, don't don't fly again.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_07]: Keep that on me, no.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_07]: Keep the police tight.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_07]: You the type you wanna win by any means, right?
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_07]: You should look alive.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: This is dropping down.
