- 1:54[SPEAKER_04]: victory Sunday, bro.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, man, we came out, we executed.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was illus sloppy, but at the end of the day, we were the better team all day.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, I see money balling his shaking his hair, but it's not in the shaking head about on a week one duck, because week ones are usually just kind of unpredictable.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes you lose these games, actually, but I never once felt threatened in this game.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_04]: We came out with the W short week onto the package.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree and disagree, but let's start off with the good news, you know, 21-6.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_03]: I agree with the fact that, you know, I then really think that Washington was being threatening and all this game.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_03]: I think some of the things that stand out for me is like new faces.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_03]: Debo Sam, you're making an impact.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_03]: You're talking about what's his name?
- 2:47[SPEAKER_03]: Will Harris, no, no, no, we at Will Harris, Devon Kenlow, but I was thinking about Will, but Will Harris, Devon Kenlow, and Paco players defensively, that made several plays throughout the course of the game.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_03]: A several big plays throughout the course of the game.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_03]: It was moments where Kenlow was looking
- 3:07[SPEAKER_03]: Unblockable, um, you know, they lined them up on that left side a few times.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: That's where you made most of its impact.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I think that's that's really good for watching, uh, especially with you talking about new guys now granted.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's the this offensive line for New York, uh, we're missing two players, but at the same time, you know, when you make an offense look so ineffective, right.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: putting the ball in Russell Wilson's hands to make plays.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think he ends the day with 37 pass attempts.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_03]: Only complete in 17 and he's their leading rusher, right?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're winning big time.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: Tyrell and Tracy only had 24 yards.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think the rusher's all together for the New York Giants if my math is right, let me see, well, 30.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: They only had 30 yards on 15 carries.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, actually a day from a defensive front, uh, I think Eddie Goldman made made his impact known several times when they put them in on those run downs.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so I think for Washington early on, you really did get to see how impactful these guys can be when they're firing on all assemblers, uh, very energetic start all very aggressive throughout the day, uh, but it was a, it was an electric in terms of like their intensity, it was an electric day for that defense for sure.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_04]: And while when I had asked the question, you know, to you all on Thursday show, I said, is there anything in this game that can happen, that can make you feel what's the come or, you know, give you some kind of feeling towards good a bad to put a rest of the season.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_04]: And I honestly feel like this was the statement kind of game I wanted to see a week one, because what was the big mystery to big elephant in their room going into the season?
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: It was a defense specifically to run the defense, because that's where we got gas at last year.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_04]: even when we played the Giants last year, they were able to run the ball on us.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I thought the key was in this game.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_04]: They couldn't get any momentum alone in the ground game.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_04]: So you're kind of force their Russell Wilson to go out there and be old Russell Wilson, which he's not that anymore.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_04]: So that's what that's what set the total in this game.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_04]: And I have to say it was Ken Law.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: Ken Law started from playing one.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_04]: You know, playing one, you saw him blowing up a play in the back field.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_04]: He did that multiple times throughout the game.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: And that just gets other players to be able to eat.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, in that even just Kinlob, but that defensive line in general, Doran's Armstrong had a hell of a game that they I thought, I mean, the way they used him, the way they rushed him, he was coming in those NASCAR packages rushing from the details about what in a stand-up position.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_04]: And he was causing heavy.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_04]: The wrong pain had a hell of a game.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_04]: You know, that allows Bobby Wagner and those guys to kind of eat in those lanes.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, I thought it radiated.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: A person of defense.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and paying two, two big past defenses.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: One was on a third down, and then the third down where Washington's off was clearly starting, I think it was a three and out that they gave up.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that they had and it gave the ball back to the Giants right after.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: Um, uh, uh, the, uh, the field goal that they had, um, I think I think that's the drive that the recurrent job with a respondent drive.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the second one was the four down, I mean, leading to the four down goal line stand, uh, with the Giants like the final judge, where I think that was on third down, I believe, and it forced the fourth down.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so like, yeah, yeah, who big moments for playing, uh, in terms of his past defenses, but also getting home on a sack,
- 6:32[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and you mentioned doors on strong like it was a few people that that really made their presence known and honestly like somebody's mentioned in the chat like the Rossi money boss had the Rossi that you better cut that check this off season.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's a not the not the communist self, but like the idea of him coming out with his head on fire like or a hair on fire, however, the phrase is I think it's a really good um sight to see at least in terms of like getting your confidence moving forward.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: for the rest of the season.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, like that defensive line and the people that you named big deals big games.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but not only that, I mean, just even the backfield.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_04]: I thought the secondary had a hell of a game.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I mean, you saw something flashed from all of those guys, like, ladder more.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_04]: He was straight clenced.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, Amos.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_04]: I thought Amos had a pretty damn good game considering a matchup.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he got grabbed a couple of times, but, you know, they letting them play.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_04]: He's sticky and coverage.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_04]: What you saw on his tape.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_04]: And then the safeties, I mean, you call him Martin, you know, now it's not quite a Martin's fault.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_04]: No, why I'm not even going to get on over about that neighbor's play.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that was just a straight up mismatch at the end of the day.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_04]: Neighbors is going to win that matchup.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_04]: 10 times out of 10, but other than that, you know, Juan Martin, he was solid in that fact field.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_04]: And then as you mentioned, all the new guy will hear it.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he comes down.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_04]: He lays the wood, man.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: You know, but no, he comes down.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_04]: He lets you know his presence man.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_04]: So I just, I just see this renewed energy and a defense.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, the only thing we have to worry about just cleaning up the silly mistakes.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you had a, you know, rough in the past or, uh, teacher.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_04]: So far down, better based.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: Those are my things, man.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Bill and the giant south giving them points.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, you may have, you, you could be possibly talking about a shutout here.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: If you clean out some of those mistakes, but other than that, man, the defense made a statement today.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_04]: They make me feel good about going forward at least that these guys may be ready to play whoever they can, they're going to match up with.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's it's a it's a very impressive day for that defense, but there if there's one thing you mentioned the penalties and then there's another thing that was actually bothering me.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, he's going to probably be the least of your worries in terms of compared quarterback and moving forward.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you got Jordan Love on week two.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_03]: Um, he's younger, but he's also a little bit more mobile in terms of his ability to just pick up scramble yards, right?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I think you're going to play them a little bit differently, but at the same time when you're talking about like containing the edge right not allowing them to quarterbacks them, allowing them to break that contain when you're doing your your run stunts your line games, I say runs stunts, but by line games pass or stunts.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's going to be big moving forward.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: We already mentioned that Russ was the leading rusher for the Giants.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: He had 44 yards on eight curries.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, obviously, all of them were scrambles, but some of those were big in that second half as they had opportunities to drive.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, that's kind of my one thing defensively in terms of if there was something to clean up is like, how you actually contain the quarterback and your discipline,
- 9:54[SPEAKER_03]: You need a little bit more, you need a little bit more closure when you get to get close to that quarterback.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_04]: I agree and a lot of that too, I thought that happened a little late in the game.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_04]: That's when you start to saw Russ kind of get off.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_04]: And I wondered if some of that could have been fatigue.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, because in the second half, that deep as was on the field quite a lot, because the office just wasn't sustained drives throughout the third quarter.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's in a last forkable.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_04]: The second, the last fork quarter drive was jaded in a company closes it,
- 10:21[SPEAKER_04]: Other than that, yeah, they weren't a field a lot, but you want to see the office, you know, be able to sustain those drives, which I believe they will once they clean up their issues.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_04]: We'll get to that, but, you know, it could have been a little bit of a fatigue, but yeah, that's the true thing because we're us to start to break out.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_04]: And you're going to face those type of gas this season.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said, you got to Jordan love coming up, and Jordan love made that be scrambled on you like crazy, but these wonderful kind of make feel athletes but it kind of slippery in the pocket.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_04]: They can get away from your business.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_04]: You do have to play discipline.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now, um, let's go ahead and flip things over to that offensive side.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: You touched on it just a little bit.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but Debo Samuel, if we're talking about, uh, side note before I start shots of money for the number.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know where you got that from.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to try to find it, but he mentioned that 50% pressure rate, which is press.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, yeah, it's, it's phenomenal.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_03]: But that kind of like actually pushes the point that we're trying to make just a lot of pressures just two sacks.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's you got to do a little bit better than that.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_03]: Finish your food.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, finish your food, man.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: But Debo Samuel, a seven reception, 77 yards, 10 targets.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_03]: He had two drops.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_03]: I give him one for real.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_03]: He had another one that was over the middle, kind of behind them.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but he had like one full slow drop up the scene.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and then the other one was was kind of tough a tough graph for him to try to make.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: But for sure, seven catches 77 yards.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_03]: And then a touchdown on a 19 yard rush in the second half to actually help seal the game for Washington.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_03]: Um, That's one person where like,
- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: When Terry was gone, and all season training camp, et cetera, like Hammond Jaden was going to work.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like they were locked in, and all you heard in your camp of dates is the connection that Terry had.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to give me that Jaden had with Debo and for Washington.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_03]: in this game to give Debo 10 targets, right?
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: Like super impressive, but also you're talking about a person who came through that show, like who's rushed?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like the touchdown run was with pure like Debo as Debo as it gets, right?
- 12:41[SPEAKER_03]: You're talking about a person who maneuvers like in terms of how he, excuse me, how the defense reacts to him,
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: how he's tough, right?
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like his run toughness, breaking tackles, beating guys to the corner and just finishing his competitiveness, extending into the end zone and making sure that he finishes the plate.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think that D-Bows ability to make plays from the screen game, your second level, all right.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: And then also like those opportunities where it like all right, we're just going to get the ball in your hands and you just make you just make this shit work And I think that's what that touchdown was I mean, it was well designed like they gave him the alley But like finished the play and and I think that was a very impressive debut from One of a couple day views that we definitely need to talk about on that offensive side of the ball, but the above man a really good game in this in this opener
- 13:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and you could tell Cliff was excited to have a weapon like depot.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Cliff mentioned in his press conference last week that the most surprising thing about depot was what he can do as a receiver.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like when we were kind of talking about an early this off season after the trade happened, I think a lot of us already assumed, yeah, he's going to be getting a lot of roles running back carries and running back touches.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_04]: I was thinking, I said, no, I think depot won't be using a little bit different from the end.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's going to be used to show cases
- 14:03[SPEAKER_04]: a little bit more and Cliff kind of validated that when he talked about that last week, and then when he showed the day, like Debo is running routes, he's catching tough passes, Jayden has like you said, Ma, he has the chemistry with Debo already, which I thought was kind of probably lacking a little bit with Terry on that one deep pass that he threw to Terry, because to me, I'm like, that's his time.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_04]: But you know, as Jayden is the damn good Debo or he just probably got to get that time and back with Terry.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: But no, I mean, he's seeing the half that rhythm with Debo and Cliff seems like they want to get this
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: And he hasn't shown any signs of slow and down or any signs of being washed up, but I also think that you're seeing that offseason condition.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_04]: And like Debo mentioned, you know, he had pneumonia at the end of the year with San Francisco last year.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_04]: That would, that messes up the condition and that stops what you can do on the field.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_04]: So he's, you know, months removed the way for that.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_04]: He looks good.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_04]: He's in the gym all the time.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: He was out there working as that's all.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_04]: And it showed that they, I mean, they got him a lot of touches, like I said, he has seven catches seven, 77 receiving yards and then he has the rush rushes on the groundwork, the couple of carries that he had.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_04]: He was a big factor on the offense.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_04]: And honestly, like you said, a couple of those misses, both of them honestly, which is jaded been a tad bit off.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_04]: What's jaded was off a little bit the day, but I don't have any concerns about jaded, I'm pretty sure he's going to get right.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, this week one, you know, these things happen.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: But again, Debo was a couple of plays away from an even bigger game today.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, it's exciting to note a potential that these guys have on offense, because as we was talking about before the show, we can score close to 40 points in the jazz today.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like I mean, we ended up with a smile at the ball at the end of the corn 40.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, and it wasn't nothing like if you watch the game, it was nothing that the
- 15:48[SPEAKER_04]: everything that was stopping watch it to felt like Washington stopping Washington.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, you clean up those little things, but I said a couple of those past the depot, you have a big of game, but I mean, impressive game from depot, man.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't be happy if they haven't shut up the haters.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_04]: Fat depot, everything we heard this summer, man.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_04]: He looked damn good out there.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm I'm more than hey, but I'm gonna give it a few more games so he can pile up some numbers.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm I'm I'm right out there.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: I'm leading the charge on that.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I have to come with you.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, we talked about Debo's debut, Bill Crosskebert.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_03]: I think for him, like the...
- 16:25[SPEAKER_03]: like the thing that Washington was yearning for from a running back, right?
- 16:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think you see what you like the ability that Eckler has, right?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's a reason why you want to get him as many such as as you can for his age, or his build.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever, however you want to view it as a staff as a coach, right?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: But, um,
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you look at Bill and you're talking about a person who has like that short area like burst that explosion that allows so many plays run plays to be successful.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: If you can get things blocked up properly on that first level, you're talking about so many extra yards that he doesn't or at least in the first game that he didn't go to waste and it didn't go to waste with with Bill and I think.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: There was like several different plays that showed the juice.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: But that last run, bro.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_03]: Imagine if he housed that shit like I thought I got a lot to you when he got past at first level I'm like all right.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_03]: He got some here, but then when he's like 30 yards down film like Hey, if he housed this I don't know I know that it was they had to head the angles on them But I was like where I imagine if he housed that shit Because he was he was really scooping like and I did I didn't know that he had like some long speed tool I thought he was like because my soul man that that sensey game
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, bro, how you, how you get tagged like that in the end zone?
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't, I'm like smoke smoking bro.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_03]: I don't get touched like that, but like in that last run that 40 hour run, like it looked like he was really trying to score.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't blame him.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_03]: Like fuck, fuck trying to, you know, just like end the game.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_03]: If you can try to score bro, go for it.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_03]: He just ran out of, he just ran out of real estate.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_03]: But that was an exciting run.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm in for that to happen in the first week of the season.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a big deal for watching.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_04]: And for me, yeah, and it was like I was saying last week when we were kind of speculating, you know, maybe he's going to be an active one looking at the deaf chart.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, there's nobody in that running bag room that can do what Bill does.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_04]: Like, he brings a complete different element to that running bag room.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: And that ability to probably house some of those things that the whole run hitter, so to speak.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's the guy at least the ass on his tape when I watched the new Mexico film that he played for them.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_04]: But as you can see, he gets the ball.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_04]: Anytime he gets it, he's almost a threat.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_04]: And then you got the block, and that was actually there.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: Today, a lot of times, I mean, you had over 200,000 stuff to rush a yard.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, Jayden accounts for a lot of that, but Bill at the end of the day, like I said, he could take one to the house at the end of the game.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_04]: Like he said, like you said, I'm all imagine if he did take that.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: That would have brought no rest.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna down.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like I mean, I mean, I mean, the stadium, what I was going down in my damn living room, we were going all over here.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we was like, oh, no, go.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: Because at this point, we already feel like the game's over anyway.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_04]: the clothes out like that would have been crazy.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_04]: But no, I'm happy for Bill because he did show that ability.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_04]: Again, he showed why he made him active.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like you didn't want to come out of this game, question, and why was Bill active in Chris Rodriguez in active?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: You're not going to question it today.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_04]: Now you're going to sit up there every week and just expect Bill to be active.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_04]: And it was interesting how Cliff kind of maneuvered the run-and-back room.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Ecuador did get a bulk of the work early on.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, as far as he was on the field of Latin, yeah, at least in the first few series, but then Bill comes in, Bill gets a lot of the work.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_04]: So them too were all to make a lot of the game.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, we didn't see Jay Mac and to the end of the game.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_04]: He used his special teams.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_04]: Like, obviously, he's a big special teams player, but it was interesting to see those two the way they maneuvered Ecuador in Bill.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_04]: So those two going forward, we can assume that they are going to be the two backs.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_04]: And they're going to be to change the pace backs between each other.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_04]: There's just no power game between the two.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_04]: Like you don't have what you would think of as a traditional power runner, but you have two different type of runners, a two different type of styles, and you're going to see them use them and those change the pace situations.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm totally stint.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_03]: They don't show too much power, but I think that's actually like the way they ran the ball today,
- 20:42[SPEAKER_03]: It shows like they actually they you can run in between the tackle with these kids and and you could you could be effective it wasn't just like perimeter runs Like they was able to successfully hit those A gap runs the the ones off the guard in between the tackle like you can do that as well like they by Eccler in and merit was good inside in between the tackles in and
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: I think one thing when you think about Chris Rodriguez, you finally got to answer to how they would ultimately handle the running back position, it's going to come down to that third and fourth running back spot.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_03]: But they obviously value
- 21:28[SPEAKER_03]: and look at how they handle today.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_03]: They obviously value the combination of Austin Eccler and the Cory Croskey Merit more than anything else at least early on.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: And it paid off for them big against this giant defense of front who
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: So many people included myself had such a ton of respect for and you're talking about 220 yards on the ground, granted 68 of those came from your quarterback, but still over 100 yards, which are running backs or your runners, right, people send you had the 19 yarder.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_03]: The way they was able to really like control that defense again.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about a team who could have put up over a 35 at least, right?
- 22:13[SPEAKER_03]: The way they was able to control them with the tempo and the pace.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: And also like have a balanced ground game is like shoot me a balanced attack.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm going to say a balanced attack because that ground game was so effective.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's big for it's big for Washington moving forward.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: The offensive line though, when you look at how they play today, I thought for the most part, they was pretty good.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that they had a terrible day.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_03]: There was some moments where you're talking about Josh Connelly, I think that, you know, his just inexperienced on the right side.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously showed it so, but then you're talking about inexperienced on the right side where you're going
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: Right, like Brian Burns is a captain.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_03]: He's also, he has, he's a very high-end pass pressure in, like you, who said it in the chat?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think, I think, they just, he said,
- 23:19[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, he got baptized today, which is a good thing.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, like you're talking about most of the most of the game.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_03]: He really didn't have that much chip help.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_03]: It gave him some, but for the most part of the game, he was by himself.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_03]: Same thing with obviously Laramy.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so those ads guys for for the New York Giants and even Dutch Dolores, like how many times did you hear Dutch Dolores name today?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_04]: I mentioned that earlier.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's just something where you look at that defensive front and you're saying like hell of a job from that past protection side.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: There was plenty of moments where Jayden obviously he did get pressure to something.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: He got sack three times.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: One of them I think was on him where, you know, when the players did, don't just take the sack.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like bail out, throw the ball away and move on to the next play.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_03]: But I just think for the most part, that all fits in line.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like it was several, some of several holding calls, about, I think, three of them I think at least, if not four, but it was, it was a day where you can look at these guys and say, okay, you did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did
- 24:34[SPEAKER_04]: was a little bit uncomfortable with some of the time he had in the pocket because jayton is kind of used to having his internal clock go off a lot faster but in this situation jayton i thought he was like oh i got time i got time to grow and he's sitting at waiting waiting in a couple of those times the kind of result need a a bad pressure or a bad set
- 24:52[SPEAKER_04]: which, you know, in from the casual fan standpoint, not even say casual fan, but just from the naked out of fan, they're looking at the see who gets beat instead of an understanding of why the sack happened.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes it was kind of, you know, it was kind of the side that happened, but I thought Jade and could have got rid of the ball a little faster on some of those plays.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_04]: But this is going to just be one of those things, but they're just, Jade is a quick adjuster.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_04]: I do think Jade is eventually going to get comfortable with that.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's just something new for him.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_04]: But Connor, I love him, you know, going to guess that line that he's going to guess with the Giants.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I was glad to see there's no rotation.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: Let him go out there.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_04]: Let him play the whole game.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let him go out there and work.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like, don't, don't he?
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: Sit up there.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: Let him rotate, take him out.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_04]: Let him get the work.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's fine.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: He's going to give beat.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's cool.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_04]: This is a hell of a deepest of line.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_04]: This is probably the best deepest of line you're going to play against all season.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: So, again, I like the work that he got.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think he was that bad.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_04]: Like if he got beat a couple times, but that's cool.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: He's gonna be fine.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: He's gonna adjust.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_04]: This is the work that he needs.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: And he got some of the best work I've earned the year on.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_03]: So let's go ahead and run an ad break.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, when we come back, we'll talk about JD and Daniels.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about some of the mistakes on our fence and then the one sentence takeaways that we have online.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you know what time it is, man.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_03]: Let me tell y'all about them good people over there at underdog fantasy footballers back.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_03]: And underdog is the best place to make picks in.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_03]: When money all season long, plan on underdog is easy.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_03]: Just pick whether your favorite players will go higher lower on stats, such as touchdowns, receiving yards, interceptions, and more.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm a pickem guy, you know.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_03]: And tonight we have the Baltimore Ravens.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_03]: I guess the Buffalo Beals.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's gonna be a hell of a matchup, too.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_03]: You're not looking at that game like the way I'm looking at that game, but you know what some opportunities to be made if you hear what I'm saying.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to keep it simple and this game, though, I'm going to just do some touchdowns, right?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, the time it is, get me to run the backs higher on there can re-end James Cook touchdowns, right?
- 27:11[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to do Khalil Shakir.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: on higher than his touchdowns, and then where is my man's de-hopet, de-onjury hopkins, higher on his touchdowns as well.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_03]: So we got higher on D-Hop touchdowns.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_03]: We got higher on Khalil Shakir.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_03]: His touchdowns.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know if I'm saying this name, right?
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: And then we got James Cook and Dave can re-higher on their touchdowns as well.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_03]: So that will the app today and sign up using promo code chopper dives to score $50 and bonus funds when you play your first $5.

- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: All right, let's close out on a few things.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: 432 yards on offense is hard to complain about things like that.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: But we were talking about a team that finished with 12 penalties, 89 yards, but 12 critical penalties for the game.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I need to know, like, how many exactly were on offense?
- 28:58[SPEAKER_03]: I wasn't keeping tabs in the moment, but before we get to that side, Jaden Daniels, I mean,
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, it was kind of a mixie day for him.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like there was moments more times than that.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_03]: You saw how efficient.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: Jaden Daniels was like getting the ball out of his hands quickly, knowing where to go with the football, very demonstrative and confident in terms of knowing where he needs to put his players or his teammates, excuse me, and Cliffs and Cliffs scheme, or whatever, however he was calling the plays.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I think some of the, most of those moments was like seeing, seeing Jaden be effective in this office is like it gives you the confidence that,
- 29:41[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, please, I had four plays in the preseason was is perfectly fine.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you don't need more to four, but also like I look at his performance today.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, we know the 11 carry 68 yards.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's it.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: Jamie going to do a thing.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_03]: But then I'm talking about some of the things over the middle, uh, the, like, latent behind.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think the Zach Earth's drop, uh, people look at, look at that, right?
- 30:04[SPEAKER_03]: And I understand it.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_03]: Zach Earth's, uh, dropping that pace, you know, a drop of the drop.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, but at the same time, like ball placement is important.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we know that because that's what we give a lot of credit to Jayden for, um, some of those over the middle was late in behind, um, shout out to Debo on the first drive I believe where Debo ran out out and Jayden threw it a little bit behind them on that one.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and then we're talking about like the overthrow as well to Terry, um, where you're talking about Terry smokes do.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know who's out there.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was a day on a day on a day on a day, I think I'm not too sure who's out there checking on.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: But Smokeson, wild open, and he overthrew him, my life, it looked like 10 years.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't,
- 30:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not here to dwell on it too much because it is game one.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: I think Jayden would like once he gets in the rhythm of things is is one thing to notice.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: But by in terms of contributing to like a sloppy day, Jayden in which he mentioned post game that, you know, the office was just generally sloppy.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_03]: you would hope like against Green Bay on the road, attend who's handling business right now against the Detroit Lions, as far as what I can see, you know, that's gonna be a big deal for Washington to make sure that he's on point in that environment.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and this is where I think it's a good thing to have the Thursday game where you have a short break.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't have to wait seven days to kind of get right like I mean, because these are simple things like Jaden is so locked in, you know, but he and you're right, the ball placement is a thing.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_04]: Even on some of those catchest similar to receivers or make it tough, please, which you should expect you have to receive as they help their quarterbacks to do.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_04]: But you expect a lot more jay them because he's already set the standard.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_04]: He's already shown you what he's capable of.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_04]: So you want to see him clean those things up.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_04]: His best play at a day man, which was crazy was the toughest throw you made was that Chris more fast on the side line.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_04]: What shocked me?
- 32:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was not easy throw that was not easy catch out of the Chris more because I've given that guy hell
- 32:19[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, these are some plays that, again, I think, week one is probably what you're going to attribute it to.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_04]: This is not the jaded, we're kind of normally used to seeing it.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_04]: And it's kind of crazy talking like this because it's like, we're talking about it, Mom, what's the zip, you know, the guy at a bad game.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_04]: But this is not a great game by Jaden Daniel Stangers.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_04]: That's just the standard that
- 32:37[SPEAKER_04]: This guy has set like a bar so high right now for Jean and Daniel.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_04]: So it's actually kind of refreshing to talk about your quarterback in his way where we're talking about it like man He didn't look like the normal guy yet.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_04]: He still had a pretty damn good game and what you weren't really threatened in the game
- 32:51[SPEAKER_04]: The offense in his game, you know, you're looking at them a little bit more because the defense play so damn well and the defense has been the one we've been kind of worried about this all season.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_04]: So you want to see that offense kind of get up to speed and it would be cool to see a game where the offense is going out there and they're playing at the level that they're capable of playing at J, that's playing at the J level, he's capable of playing.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_04]: and this defense plays at the level that they played at the day because then that's when you're like that can be a Super Bowl contendant team right there if they could put that all together.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean it's a long season ago, but I'm glad I'm kind of glad this is short week and I use you don't say that because I don't like Thursday games but I'm saying it because they get to go out there in a couple more days to get some things right, especially from the office of standpoint.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_03]: a boy is all Friday, so a let it let it be a short let it be a short week my I'm coming all the way up you know better I've been a well-a-delay it was all gone now absolutely not
- 33:50[SPEAKER_03]: JJ said Terry wasn't run out as brief if he actually was sprinting after the double move he would have called it Um, I can't I can't say too much about that part Look, I was just I ain't gonna lie now.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not tripping over a lot of slaves in it cuz it looked like it off of memory right now He looked at the plate once like after the replay and look like it was like a tell yard over throw
- 34:11[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I'm just I'm asking for clarity and anybody else in the chat like I don't think Terry was catching up to them.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but I sat with that to say because I brought up Terry because I was like, look, um, did you notice on Debo's touchdown run?
- 34:28[SPEAKER_03]: Were they almost had a delay again?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_03]: and it like like you're talking about a moment that everybody needs to be on point and and Jaden is like not spazzing but he's like Terry get set get ready like let's go um and like by the grace of God they gave because I don't know if you
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: Remember this or everybody else in chat, but like when it hit zero, they still give you like that extra set Yes, what they call to delay a game and like that's where it wasn't in was when they get when they snap that ball to debo We're like and shout out to debo from finishing the play, but I'm like, this is my to be another mistake We try to close this game on this is another mistake
- 35:12[SPEAKER_04]: But well, that's I'm glad you actually brought that up because that was actually driving me insane because this was all a part of the sloppyness that we've been talking about.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_04]: They were going through timeouts in the first to second half, like it was nobody's business.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_04]: The defense bird two timeouts in the first half, which ultimately ended up burning them when it came to that and tentative around the situation with Jayden at the end of the first half.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_04]: You should have had more time-outs in that situation, but you burned two on defense.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_04]: Then in the second half, the office burns two time-outs because they're not ready for certain things, and you end up losing one on that challenge.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_04]: So you had zero time-outs when like eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, which into your point, you almost had a delay in game in a critical moment, and that was like, give the ball, give the ball, give the ball, like the ball.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_04]: So that's like man, like these are the things you wanna see them playing up again.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_04]: I keep saying this but it's week one.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just hoping that you know this is these are things that they can clear up as the season goes on But I hate it seeing that kind of sloppiness because this was actually one of my keys to the game.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_04]: It was the discipline and they just didn't look discipline for the most part and the beyond is what you
- 36:25[SPEAKER_04]: If it's anything that kind of be concerned about going forward, that's probably one of my biggest main concerns going forward because this was kind of an issue last year.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_04]: What's the discipline?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_04]: What's the penalties?
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: What's the stupidest thing to kind of host this team back?
- 36:38[SPEAKER_04]: So you don't want to see that become a thing this year because I feel like this team is capable of big things that he or the defense is kind of showing.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: We're ready to kind of come into our own, like Joe with, he called a hell of a game.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_04]: I got to give it to Joe with the offense.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_04]: Again, he may have been sloppy, but you could see the flashes, like you could see if their own point, they could put up so many points.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_04]: But again, the only thing right now and that could hold this team, that is discipline of penalty.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm really kind of hoping that they do clean this up, but I'm not gonna lie and say it's not a concern amount because this was a concern lie to you.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think to that point, I think we did do a good job of touched on the mistakes to appendities or like they had several and like their territory, which is like the frustrating thing.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_03]: But then you look at just kind of how they overcame some negative field position.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think they had, like, even on the Debo touchdown run, right, uh, Austin Eccler, I think he dropped a pass or something happened.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the fall start.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_03]: It was the fall start where he shot the fake emotion and in the very next play, he gets all the yard is back from the, the penalty because I think we're at, like, second and 15 or third and 15.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, it was second and 15 or for, it first and 15.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_03]: But if I remember right, either way, it's 15 plus yards.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_03]: And Eckler gets it back on the very next play where they send him out on that fake screen.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_03]: He just cuts inside and bounces off the defenders and gets you a first-al.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_03]: Earlier in the game,
- 38:10[SPEAKER_03]: Even the second TD drive were bill bill scores you have you overcame a second and 16 on a drive and a second and 19 on a drive two different plays were you end up scoring a session on that drive.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_03]: And it was a couple other throughout the game.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_03]: We're just talking about how efficient this offense could be if you just stay in manageable.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_03]: down in businesses, but that's just how little they are.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_03]: So I think we understand where they can be moving forward, which is like a really, that's why I feel so optimistic.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_03]: And we all should, but if you clean up these penalties, Brad.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I ain't done those talk about, like how far, how far can this offense take us?
- 38:49[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact that the defense looked so impressive and the opener all beat against a battered offensive line with the Giants, not taking away anything from Washington.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about a team who had their first shutout in terms of the end zone since 2020.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: So five years where they went games, allowing touchdowns, and this week against the Giants,
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: really good opener for for that side of the ball.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: Um, we want to get to the ones some ones that take ways in and just get to our MVP.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: We good.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_03]: Is there?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: So let's hear from the people.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: Chad, if you guys want us to take away too, um, let's talk about it, uh, but here we go, um, Cleveland, say, uh, get our inch together, uh,
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: I got to retweet it.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_03]: Russell was moon balls on screens.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Brad.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Brad.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: Goat Lacer says, we got work to do.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: Caleb says, my offense was underwhelming.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_03]: King of 95, or Judah.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_03]: He'd be in a chat sometimes with a Judah.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: Control the line on defense.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: Rusty, but effective from C. Wellian.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_03]: a total domination only hell back by all right we'll say I'm going out like this be really here.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: He said a total domination only hell back by referee.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_03]: I shouldn't have gave them that game that one.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I said once this has taken away his men, men, people I had given me prepared a rest.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't reading it.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: All right, where is this reality?
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: He said offense played late crap and we still won by 15.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: So the defense looks to be much approved from last year, which is good news.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: Um, get a couple more in here.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, October, Mike, what's up October, say, defense look good today, not allowed to touch down.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and see the ginger god says it's just week one.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_03]: Um, which is true.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go into the MVP.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: I had to say one thing, and this was something that annoyed the hell out of me.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_04]: It was almost like the Rust Dance which you last year, and it happened in this game.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_04]: It was Bryan Davon celebrating like he just saved this damn career when Grant Brandon told me that 55-yard field go to cut it to four o'clock.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean the way he celebrated you would have thought the jazz just fucking you know He had a game when you feel good.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_04]: I mean he was I mean, he was about to get on his damn knees and praise God That's like a fifty-five.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I feel good To get the story 14 to six.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_04]: All right, but let's get to the LEDs.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's actually impressive like that They bought what acknowledged that they wasn't getting shit down in the ribs.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know so he settles for a feel-go Would you go for it there?
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: I just asked him was you went for it
- 41:48[SPEAKER_04]: I probably, but that because I mean, look at your plan.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_04]: Your planning is a office that's one of the more dynamic offices in NFL.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, Phil goes just don't cut it.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I was actually kind of surprised that they kicked the fuel go on that one drive, what they had got the two forked down, what was the Dietrich wise, what they had said a face.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_04]: And then he ended up kicking the field over at the end of that drive.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: I thought they was going to go for it.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_04]: And I would have went forward in that scenario.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to two yard lines.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_04]: You got to get touchdowns to get the command as often.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_04]: You're not going to beat them with field goals.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't even know how to, how the fuck we go without even mentioning that series, where you tell them I was seven plays in, like, go to Gober and you don't live up.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_03]: No, y'all.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_03]: Lock up or money ball us in, no, not this one.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_03]: Money ball us in.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_03]: No, we need, we need that boy staying at Point Return.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be good to go back there.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_03]: Just think we had no, we have a decent opportunity as a as a as a point return or at one point returns, excuse me today, but Luke did break a good one on kickoff.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_03]: So that is something that's worth noting.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_03]: So shout out to Luke.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: All right, MVP, who's our MVP man, who we given credit to on offense, who we given our credit to on defense.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_03]: Chat, let's share who's your offensive and defense of MVP, and we get about to get about here.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_04]: Man, I'm a govoc on the office of soccer.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: I got to go with Debo.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Debo had a hell of a debut man.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, from the receiving standpoint, you know, just been Debo when he gets the ball.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_04]: He touches it.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_04]: He just looked at every bit as dynamic.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_04]: He looked as every bit of.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_04]: I can't I'm not going to go down like I'm going to fight for every inch every yard.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_04]: So Debo was as advertised man, and that's the guy we're getting for the rest of the season.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, this office again, they're going to be skystore limit for them.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, okay, B.P.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: Offensively, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this, let me do this,
- 43:46[SPEAKER_03]: is Debo.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have nobody else to go with.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was pretty.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think we want to say in pace, but nothing too much else to add.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_03]: I just think you see his impact in terms of like how he can really keep an office moving his toughness, but also like the fact that he can make plays on that first and second level as a past catcher too, this makes the office more dynamic because teams just really have to keep an eye on him at all times.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm just going
- 44:16[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and like breaking off that that run that last run that he had, uh, in the in the fourth quarter was was definitely something that could put him in the race, uh, but I, I'll take Vivo's, uh, impact.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: Over, uh, Bill just for game one, but I definitely think that we're talking about like a one A and like a one B situation here, uh, if I had to, um, defensively who you got drink.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, man.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's like I told y'all in the chat when you were an AJ.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_04]: I say, man, Kim all changed the whole last season.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_04]: Damn it.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's who we go with, man, because that dude was just, I mean, he was unblockable so many times in that game, man.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I just thought that him being what he was opened up so much for the rest of the defense, man.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_04]: Like I hadn't seen a watch to defend alive and that disruptive in a long time.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_04]: So it was just a really refreshing to go out there and see him.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_04]: kind of valid day APs decision to sign on this off season and it was the thing we were kind of talking about when everyone was questioning why did they sign a lot of the given this much money.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sitting there thinking that I'm playing for that dude and they see something and that dude that they know that they are about to unleash and I thought we saw every bit of it that they he was dominant out there man that's hard for me to pick anybody else and if you honestly don't even know who would be my next animal I am because he was just that damn good out there.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: Well, shout out to that whole defense bread.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_03]: One thing that is important is like counting up the tally and the tackle for losses, you had seven in the game, which is a big deal and like five of them came from the defensive line.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: So I think I don't think I'm about to move away from that defensive line though.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: Will here is is another guy that I like Juan Martin.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: He was fine around two But I'll stick with the defensive line and I'll probably go deron't paying or don't Honestly, but like both were good Just give me just give me the wrong pain, man.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_03]: Look just some of the two past defenses that we that we already discussed earlier in the show He had a second half or they cleaned up actually a game of sack So not a second half, but he had a second of game as well
- 46:22[SPEAKER_03]: Overall, it's active throughout from quarter one to quarter four.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_03]: So, good deal by the Ron.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna give him my defensive MVP.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: All right, so what we got?
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm on his head, debo on offense, pain on defense, mossy said defensive MVP goes to the Ron pain.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_03]: All right, that's all right, but that for us.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_03]: A 1-0 on the way to Lambo, ain't no greater fill in man.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_03]: We got a short week this week on Shopify.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_03]: So we will have typically we do on Thursdays for Thursday games.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_03]: We do a slight recap on Tuesday as well as the game preview on Tuesday.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: So that's probably, unless something changes, that's probably how we want to keep it this week too.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_03]: So when we back on Tuesday,
- 47:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then we will be back on Thursday for a travel dive late night.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, that's gonna wrap it up for us.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_03]: Jerry, go ahead, make sure you drink going into it in full clock games, bro.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yes, sir.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: Until next time, y'all, y'all take it easy.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_03]: Enjoy y'all week or the rest of y'all week.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, weekend.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need body, man.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: Damn, said, hot, watchin' throw the bump, we gon' pick it up, you gon' light them hit the hood, you gon' cut it up, you gon' play the phone for longer, you gon' put it up, you're the funny side, you hit it, put your pants in, don't be lookin' for the ref, don't don't flag, then, keep that on me, no, keep the police tight, you'd be tight, you wanna win by any means, right, you should look alive, this is trapping now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah
