The early 2000s were a time before constant notifications, social media pressure, and always being connected. They were filled with Blockbuster movie nights, MTV after school, AIM conversations, mall trips with friends, and music that made us feel understood. Looking back, I don’t think I miss being younger as much as I miss the feeling that came with that time — the excitement, simplicity, and little moments that felt ordinary then but mean so much now.
