- 2:19[SPEAKER_07]: ahead of us, you know, Santana Moss going into the ring of fame against a giant song on Sunday.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_07]: So we got a lot of things going on, got some cool merch coming out tomorrow for the fans to be able to go and purchase and celebration of the ring of fame, family and friends coming in town Saturday with ownership group and then Sunday, you know, name goes up in the
- 2:46[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if you call, you can't call it rafters, but goes up in the stadium, uh, it's been honored, uh, against some sorry New York Giants that we're about to talk about with Farah.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_07]: I hope so.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_04]: We're like that.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_04]: We're like, yes.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_07]: We're like that.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm about to say, now that's, now that's one way to intro to guess my, but, uh, for those who are wondering who the fourth man is, he is a friend of the show, uh, we're welcome him back for the seventh.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: I say seven, several times, I don't even know right where to say it.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, Nick Falado of Big Blue view and Big Blue banter pie case, let me know if I got that part right.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_04]: But yes, Nick Falado is joining us, and he's here to help his breakdown things from the giant site.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: Creative intro by my friend AJ Nick, but how you feeling man?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing well Thank you for having me fellas good to see you again Jamal we had a little a little bit of a What a cross episode he would join the big blue banter podcast earlier to talk about this upcoming matchup and now we get to see a Improve New York Giants team, but are they improved enough to actually take down Washington?
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the the big question especially on the road
- 4:00[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's actually, like that, until I managed to rate a New York talk.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_04]: I think for Washington, part of our conversation, one of the things you asked me about was the perception of New York going into, obviously, this game on Sunday, but I will ask you to start things off.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what are some of the things for New York that you think has,
- 4:26[SPEAKER_04]: improve on paper but also things that you are like on the confidence side like I really like what they've done in these aspects and and I'll we can start from there.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so the past rush has been a major talking point throughout this all season, but even more so than that, and I think it's just the collective
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: That was really the only team he picked on for a while was against a Washington commander's New York giant fans.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: We got a little bit tired of seeing the quarterback just check down and be very reluctant to pull the trigger, not throw it with anticipation, throw basically just a hard football the catch, not really have a lot of touch or pacing on on his passes.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: And now that there is a veteran in Russell Wilson, albeit he's 36 years old and he has his own limitations.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: Giant fans are
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: hoping that the offense can improve to at least league average or maybe I should say at most league average which would be a significant upgrade over the 30 second the 31st the 30th and the 28th ranked offense that they've been over the last six seasons.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: So that would be I think the primary reason why there's some optimism around the New York Giants and then there is the past rush and it's just a new season in general and the fact that the Giants actually have a long-term plan
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: I can't say that.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say more than likely not to see the field.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think there will be some packages for Jackson Dart.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to see him on the football field in the right one.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think my calf will use him creatively, but ultimately it's going to be Russell Wilson's team.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to predominantly see Russell Wilson as the quarterback overall.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Those would be the two things that New York Giants are optimistic about is Russell Wilson and a new quarterback and the overall pass rush.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: But my main thing is, can't Russell Wilson get the Giants off and it's on track enough to force a competitive game where the pass rush can actually pin the rear's back and go and get Jane Daniels and go and get the opposing quarterbacks and can the Giants stop the run enough to allow 3rd and 5 third and 6 situations.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_07]: So, I just want to ask a quick question because I'm like, as you being a giant fan and covering the team, why would you want to, why would there be a package for Jackson Bart?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's not like we're talking about like, uh,
- 6:56[SPEAKER_07]: Jaila Milro or like a little more Jackson here like why why would you take your starting quarterback out of the game who can essentially create on the run as well to put in another quarterback that can do the same thing.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they are two separate quarterbacks by style and from what we've seen in the pre-season, Brian Dable and my calf, because I believe they want to have packages within there, within their offense that are more college oriented, or at least what we've seen contemporary college football, a lot of spread concepts, RPO, work those linebackers of second level defenders, get their brains taken, and then
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: use the bubble screens and get the football out of the hands of the quarterback in a quick and precise manner, whereas Russell Wilson's offense, I think it's going to be a little bit more play action drop back 12 personnel condensed.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jackson dart might be a little bit more spread and Russ is 36 years old at this point.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they want Russell Wilson running too much taken hands.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they want Jackson dart taken hits, but he is much more apt to run successfully.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I only think this is going to happen to throw curve balls at Washington.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: at the second level with Washington to get Jackson Dart in the Jackson Dart is the inevitable quarterback of the future for the New York Giants.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that inevitability is going to come in 2025, but Brian Deble alluded earlier this week that there might be some packages for Jackson Dart.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I should say the Giants beat reporters asked questions in a manner that backed Brian Deble into a corner to where he essentially said, yeah, that could happen.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_07]: OK.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, that wasn't my real question.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_07]: It just came up in what you were speaking of.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_07]: But you know, I don't really want to dive into the quarterback conversation too much there.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_07]: But I know that you mentioned like the defensive line and that's kind of like one of the main reasons why some people believe that the giants could be competitive in this game and a lot of games due to the fact of now adding a dual
- 8:53[SPEAKER_07]: You know, decks of lords, Brian Burns, and K-Botipo, but one name that doesn't get mentioned as often is a recent draft pick, which is Darious Alexander from Toledo.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_07]: How do you feel about him and how he could possibly be viewed and revered within this actual matchup Sunday against the Washington Commanders?
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not expecting too much from Darius Alexander and I love this tape coming out of Toledo.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's more so he got hurt no tears and mini camp and it was a really slow start to training camp.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: You started seeing him play deep into the fourth quarter of a lot of games and you say, oh, maybe that's because he's just a rookie and that would make sense.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: But when you watch the tape, he's he's getting stuck on blocks.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: His feet are not active.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: His ability to separate from just from a block shedding standpoint was
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: was problematic and he looked a bit slow, and that's not what I saw on his Toledo tape at all.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: I would be surprised if you saw a lot of snaps in this game.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going to see a lot of next-to-dexter lunch with Team Nunez Roaches, a lot of Roy Robertson Harris, and some DJ Davidson.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't think that Darrys Alexander's going to have much of a role.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, and for me, you know, the outside of the perspective of the giants coming into the season is that they're really not going to be a factor as much as the other teams are in the NFC East you here at Cowboys the giant I mean the Cowboys key goes to commanders mostly the teams you kind of talk about.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_06]: But if the giants aren't going to be affected this year, let's say they, you know, have a mediocre season, this is probably going to spell it in the brand table.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_06]: So from your standpoint from the giants perspective, what are kind of your expectations handed into the season for this team, like do you expect, you know, a better season.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_06]: Are you hoping for a better season?
- 10:32[SPEAKER_06]: Like, what is your vibe about day ball all in it?
- 10:35[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you kind of feel me in on that.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: I, um, I think Brian Dable and Joe Shane have a longer leash than a lot of people nationally.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think John Mera is, I don't know what I'm saying, fat you waited with these guys, but I think he really likes both of those people that they're character, their football minds.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: And now we're starting to see the vision kind of come to fruition.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think this, like I've heard national people be like, oh, by week five, I'm able, could be fired.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't think that's the case.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think they might have like a two year leash unless everything bottoms out.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: And even then, I don't think they get fired mid-season.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this is a bad match to do type of situation.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: John Marrow would give them the grace to go to the end of the season and then part ways with them.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: But that would only be, I don't think that's a likelihood.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is a very unlikely situation and only if everything bottoms out and falls out and as we've heard a lot, the New York Giants are a very tough schedule.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're obviously in the NFCs, which is a tough division and we play the NFC North and we play the AFC West and then the Giants also get a 49ers as one of the fourth place teams that they have to play within the NFC.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's a tough task.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think the giants are gonna be though and it might not bear out the end of the season from a record perspective because of the schedule I think they're gonna be a respectable team that not everybody is looking at on the schedule and being like this is an easy win because the quarterback position is different They actually have a veteran.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: I trust the offensive mind of Brian Dable and Mike Kafka collectively
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: The deep end from a little worried about from a run stopping perspective, and I'm not sold that chain bone is the guy to maximize his group.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: But the talent is there on paper.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: You have several blue chip guys up front, and you have, I would say, solid second tier type of players on the back and with Tyler Noobin, who's coming into his second year, I think he can develop into maybe a blue chip type of individual Paulson of Debo, need to get more from Tay Banks, Javan Hall, and they brought in, and then a caracame, McFadden, that's a solid lineback or duo.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: But everything
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've dual-carder and then and cave on tibido.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I think teams are not going to want to play the New York giants because of that front four.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: And if the giants' offense can just get out to some early leads and start the game's hot and maybe get into some favorable game scripts defensively, then those four can feast and those four can pin their ears back and that's going to be the recipe for success for this team.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: The giants' offense can be league average.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think the giants could possibly compete for
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: for a playoff spot.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's a crazy thing to assert.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know how fast these turnovers are, weekend and week out in the NFL.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm not saying, and I've got to pick the giants to make the playoffs just to be frank.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: But there's certainly a percentage and a probability and a possibility that they can certainly win some of these close games and then get into that conversation because they have upgraded in some key spots.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: But there's still some big question marks when it comes to this football team that I hope we can clean some answers from in this week one matchup.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_06]: So this isn't a playoff to a bus situation for Dave all the time.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't I don't believe so.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think if they just are respectable and they lose some close games and they're not the lap, they've they've been a dumpster fire.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: They have been the lowest of the low over the last two seasons, right?
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: Basically since they gave Daniel Jones that contract was sent extension after the 2022 year.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: been the lowest of the low, as long as it's not like that, I think David and Shane get another season.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I don't think they're really, I don't think their seat is as hot as a lot of other people believe.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think a lot of people who cover the giants are in the same boat as I am.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of that is because of because of John Maris, he has a certain magnanimous nature about him when it comes to David and Shane.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think he'd like the fact that he fired
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: three different coaching staffs after two seasons.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think you want to see this through and now with Jackson Dart and toe with Jackson Dart in the building, they're going to give it a little bit more time.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_07]: Do you do agree with John Mayers approach possibly on it?
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: So at the end of the season, I wanted the Giants to part ways with Brian Dable and Joe Shane, but my one point of contention with that was I was like, well, who's the coach that's clamoring to come into the Giants situation, right?
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Now they had no quarterback of the future.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: They had to eat a bunch of deadcap getting rid of Daniel Jones.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: So there really wasn't a lot of a personnel who I thought or I wanted the Giants to go out and get.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: So when John Maris said, hey, we're going to keep these two, I was like, okay, I understand that.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see what they do.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: And ever since then, I believe,
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: the two grindable and and and Joe Shane have done a solid job really bolstering this roster and also getting a quarterback without spending the third overall pick you get up dual Carter and then you trade your second round pick and a little bit more to move up to get jacked with that's a pretty good trade especially Jackson Dart.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: lives up to the expectations that he has created by his place so far through this offseason and training camp.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: So for me, I'm a little bit more optimistic than I was previously because there is at least a plan in place and a vision in place that seems to make sense from a football perspective.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm actually glad it's because one of my followers was actually how you personally feel about a day ball and crew and yeah that's actually that's that's really interesting because I'm a fan of day ball.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_04]: I just feel like Daniel Jones ham shunk them and like for whatever reason, whether it was his decisions to keep him around after that play off season or
- 15:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like a combination of things, I just feel like it was just something where he never really had a full chance to like dive into what he actually needed or won it for the giants and you can correct me if I'm wrong on that but my my question also would be just about my league neighbors I'm year two.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_04]: What is the conversation around him?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think the type of end-packed he can have for this giant's offense and his sophomore second season for the team and obviously how that translates to the week one game?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I agree with your assessment about table.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now, there's been a lot of, I would say, strange things that have happened to the New York giants since 2022, internally with the building, with wink martindale, parting ways.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: You had positional coaches kind of taking shots at Brian Dable, you had some players, Xavier McKinney, taking shots at the coaching staff.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: So there's been some managerial aspects of Dable that I question and some in-game things, but ultimately, the quarterback did,
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: hold him back so we should evaluate table with a different quarterback.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I agree with what you said there Jamal.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now back to your your question about the New York Giants and Malik neighbors.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think Malik neighbors at the end of this season could be thought of in
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: in the same tier as Jumar Chase and Justin Jefferson.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has that type of talent, that type of skill set, that type of upside.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: We saw that at LSU.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_04]: And for those who are unfamiliar with Nick, I just had to make sure that the viewer is new like Nick, Nick is like a deep diver in a tape too.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_04]: So like he really, he's really logged in on like the details of things.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_04]: That's all I want to say continue.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: No, thank you, Jamal.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, so I loved his LSU tape and I love Jane Daniels.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: And when I went to you guys, I was like, I can't believe we've got to do what this freaking guy for.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: It was terrible, but as a New York Giants fam, great for you guys.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: But getting the league neighbors at six, I was ecstatic about that because I, it wasn't for, from a Daniel Jones perspective.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: It was for like the Jackson D'Arperspect.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was for the next guy.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because by the time the next guy assumes the air,
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: back then was the air, then movie neighbor should be him or at least the player that I expect him to be.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: And that's somebody who is going to dictate coverage defensively.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody who's going to force cloud coverage force safety roll over to create one-on-one matchups for the other players.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: And he could still win those one-on-one or he could still win those double teams.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: Which we saw last year with Daniel Jones throwing the football.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: The contested catch is that movie neighbors was able to come down with as a rookie who was battling through injuries.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: It was fantastic.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: It was phenomenal.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the sky is no limit.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has it incredibly high ceiling.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think by the end of this season, he'll be in the, he might be if he stays healthy in the top five, in the top five, why receiver conversation in the national football league.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's how high I think of movie neighbors.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm a big time the league neighbor's fan.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_07]: I actually think that he is the number three best while receiver in NFC East, and I think two, two could be a toss up between him and C.D.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_07]: Lam.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_07]: Even though he hasn't been doing it for as long, but I would ask you, with this match of happening, Sunday, who was sorry about that?
- 18:50[SPEAKER_07]: Who else on the roster?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, from the office, it's definitely Jai's wife, she didn't watch any fans because there are a lot of having a possible breakout game or being impactful a breakout game.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: So I think a lot of this is going to depend on what Dan Quinn is going to do defensively to try to take because it doesn't look like the giant should have Andrew Thomas their star left tackle and it's going to be James Hudson a player of the giant sign from the Browns to a $6 million a year contract.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: who had a rough training camp.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: So that could definitely be something to Dan Quink at Target.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I expect Dan Quink maybe to bring some blitzes, maybe play some man covered.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can correct me if I'm wrong.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: I have not seen the numbers prior to this.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going off with what he did as a coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys different personnel now.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: And you guys have a young and improved secondary.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: I expect the giants to, whatever he's doing, try to dial some things up deep and create explosive plays.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Something that they just have not done since Daniel Jones was their quarterback.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: And that could benefit if not Malik neighbors, a Darious Slayton, who has had his success over the last six years as a New York giant, Laundell Robinson underneath.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then I would say the one player that no one's really talking about, he just came back healthy.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: is Theo Johnson, the second year tight end that giant straffed in the fourth round at a Penn State.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now Russell Wilson doesn't really target the middle of the field all that much.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of outside the numbers type of stuff, a lot of moon balls, deep vertical shots.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: But Theo Johnson is a six foot six, 270 pound target who can really work the scene.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: commanders do want to play split safety looks to go over the top of the vertical outside the numbers type of passing attack.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: The giants might attempt to establish early on and Theo Johnson is going to be in the middle of the field running up that seam.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think he is a player and not a lot of people are on right now that I know inside that building.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: The New York Giants love and he does have a lot of potentially tested like in the lead athlete.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think he plays like a very good athlete and he's an exceptional block of a 270 pound frame as I mentioned previously.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: So he's a name to monitor underneath Wandell Robinson.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: You have Tyrone Tracy Jr.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: who's going to be the primary running backs since Camp Scadaboo missed most of training camp with the hamstring injury, Devon single Terry my work in a little bit as well, but deep from a deep perspective, slighten but Theo is the
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: looking at the giants we obviously talk about the strength at Nazium and that's the past where I mean that terrifies us we've seen it over and over but from our New York giant standpoint what would you say is your biggest area of concern coming into the game or maybe your biggest area of mystery coming into the game against the commanders.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: Concern Jane Daniels Jane Daniels is like I absolutely love everything that he offers The Washington Commanders.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: He he stepped in had so much poised right off the bat ledger guys team To an NFC championship like that is to an NFC championship game.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: I should say, but that that is elite type stuff So I am concerned with how Shane Bowen is going to scheme and stop cliff Kingsbury I was a very critical of Shane Bowen in week two last year
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: even though he held Washington touchdownless, but the kick seven field goals and the Giants didn't dress a practice squad kicker and Ram can no got hurt on the opening kick off so they couldn't kick any field goals and then they ended up losing the game.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's terrible from the Giants.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks for that.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_04]: We needed it.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's terrible.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Terrible.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: We were collectively losing our minds over here in New York and New Jersey when that happened.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: But stopping Clips King's Barry, it's going to be like,
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: a horizontal passing attack is how to get the football jing Daniels get it out of his hands.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: They're probably going to attempt to run the football and again, I question the giant's ability to fit the run to stop the run, especially if they want to run a lot of these cover four quarters, palms, looks where there's two safety's high, expecting the cheat down into the box a little bit to try to get a mathematical advantage and to gap themselves out if they can.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: But this is a different defensive structure than what Wink Martendale ran.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Wink Martendale got out all the times with like five guys on the line of scrimmage.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to need your linebackers in your safety to fit, and if the linebackers are a little bit slow to do that, which they were last season in this defense, it's going to be a problem.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's a problem that can be exploited, especially with the RPO and their own re-game at Jane Daniels offers.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because one of the things about Shane Bowen's defense when they align wide is that backside pursuit of fender if it's Brian Burns.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: He crashes so quickly, but if you have Jane Daniels there, he needs to respect Jane Daniels.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: and through the mesh point.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: And that's going to give Washington a little bit of an advantage when it comes to rushing the football.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: And when it comes to the RPO and the bubbles and stuff like that's what we saw a lot in week two.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I've watched Shane Bowen to press up to the line of Scrimmage a little bit more.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be whoov the Giants second level defenders to rally and tackle on those horizontal hitters.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: and force those third and five, third and six situations to where they can then go and rush for or possibly simulate pressure and rushing for or blitz and get after Jane Daniels, but I'm worried about Jane Daniels and ask for a mystery.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: I guess it would be Washington stopping the run and I don't really know too much about Washington's run defense right now because for so long yeah for so long I was just a guy to run pain and Jonathan Allen I'm like you're not running a football in the agabra who's doing out there like for so but now Jonathan Allen's not there and Javan Kim laws there and
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: My understanding of Javan can lie haven't grinded through his all 22 tape is he is definitely a much lesser player than John of the now and when it comes to fit in the run.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: So if the giants can run the football effectively work the play action.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think that puts their offense on track to possess the football and then keeps the game relatively even
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: So, both of these offense are going to look to more than likely established a run.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think the giants are going to do that and then attempt to take a shot over the top to soften the defense and also be like, hey, we're here.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: We have a different quarterback now.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: He can actually throw a deep ball and it's not reluctant to do so.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, Nick, as always, man, I appreciate you.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, you know, I gave you my prediction earlier.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a safe saved miles for later in the show today, but we need to know
- 24:45[SPEAKER_04]: your prediction is, who do you got winning and what's the score?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I have Washington winning this football game and it was the same score you had, man, on on the big blue banter podcast.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's 24 to 17.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's going to be like, the giants could drive and win the game at the, I think it's going to be a closer game, but I am still.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm scared about stopping Jane Daniels and I am also afraid of the giant's ability to stop it on.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I need to prove these things.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now again, I'm not trying to sit on both sides of the fence.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like I can see the giant's winning this football game too.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: I can see them pulling off this upset and starting this 2025 season off on the right foot.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: But without Andrew Thomas there, that could hinder their protection and what they're able to do, keep it tight and tight, maybe limit their offense a little bit.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: Ross is not the same rust that he's been in the past.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think that could slow him down and I've already mentioned it like four times, but the run defense on the giant side is something that concerns me.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know who's going to be your guys running back, but I know Cliff can dial up a solid running game, at least that's what I saw from the two matchups against the New York Giants last year.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I have Washington winning 24, 17.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_06]: So is in the conclusion, that's a class real quick, that Andrew Thomas won't be planned.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_06]: It said, are you all kind of prep-if it is?
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're prep-in?
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we did not practice today.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then, day-bel after practice said, and day-bel gives us nothing.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, he gives us nothing, right?
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: And he's just like, oh, that's part of the plan.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, yeah, well, it was the plan for him not to dress anyways, because he was limited and practiced on Wednesday and prior, like last week, he came out and talked to the media, and he was like,
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: And if I'm not ready, I'm not going to play.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: I played not ready before and I did not play up to the up to part of what I expected myself.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm looking at this when you don't practice on Thursday.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of a telltale sign that you're not going to participate.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: And that's one of the reasons why the Giants gave 6 million years to James Hudson and brought it in stone force.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't make the team.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: And they also drafted Marcus Bo in the fifth round.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a kid to monitor for the future because he's had one hell of a training camp and preseason.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: I actually had one more based on your answer on your prediction, but like how how's the fan base feeling about the match of against Washington?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't disagree now granted.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's like a 70 30 chance at Washington wins, but at the same time I don't disagree that the New York Giants have a chance of winning like how does a fan base feel about like their chances in week one
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to say they're optimistic, but relative to the fact that the giants are what, six and a half point underdogs are five and a half point underdogs depending on the book.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're optimistic from that perspective, right, that they could pull off an upset.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a team that is very respectable.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: Throughout the last two weeks, three weeks, people were saying, oh, this is going to be an upset upset upset.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: But then the Andrew Thomas news, and I think a lot of giant fans are optimistic that also comes with just being a fan of a team, especially a fan of a team that has made the necessary upgrades and key spots that would cause excitement.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, I don't think they're going in being like, oh, we're gonna beat up Washington because I think a lot of giant fans respect Jayden Daniels And I like me.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: I respect Dan Quinn.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how like Washington like I think Dan Quinn is a very good football coach and he gets his guys prepared to play You guys can correct me if I'm wrong.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's just amazing
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's my interpretation of Dan Quinn.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: He just gets his team ready to play and I have not like I'm not I'm not saying Dable's not that but he has not proved that at a consistent rate now.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's been hamstrung by Daniel Jones and some other factors But I still want to see that and this is a rogue game.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna be very hungry too That could be the hangover from the NFC, but like still
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of the, that's one of the reasons why I am going Washington, but to your point, Jamal, I can, I can, I can see that upset as well.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of the depends on can the giant's offense just keep up and allow the defense to feast.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: And if that can happen, then we might have an interesting game well into the fourth quarter.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_04]: All right, man.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I want to give you the floor to plug anything and everything else that you got going on.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_04]: I would, big blue, banter pie case, big blue,
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a big blue banter podcast that's in myself and Dan Schneier, a big blue view is where I write about the New York Giants, and you can just follow me on Twitter at Nick Follotto, that is F-A-L-A-T-O, and thank you so much for having me guys.

- 29:21[SPEAKER_04]: And there is Nick, a lot of toll and phone, there we go.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_04]: Nick, for lots of SB nation, big blue view, big blue banter podcasts.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so let's go ahead and see the commander side of things.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_04]: right after we talk about info at underdog fantasy.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_04]: So underdog man, let me tell you something about underdog football is back and underdog is the best place to make picks and when money all season long.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_04]: Paying on underdog is easy.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_04]: Just pick whether you want your favorite players to go higher or lower on a stat such as test styles, passing y'alls, receiving y'all's interceptions, and more.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna tell you what, now, now, granted.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: Let's keep in mind.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_04]: We have already issued out a couple of plays.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_04]: already for both.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: If you listen to all 32 side as well, for both the Eagles commanders, I'm just sure.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_04]: Eagles Dallas game, and then Friday's game, Kansas City and Chargers.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_04]: There's a one more that I have for us this week, and it goes as follows.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_04]: It's a five-pick play.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_04]: George Piggins, higher, Russian receiving yard touchdowns.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_04]: Let me rephrase it.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_04]: George Piggins, higher, Russian in reception touchdowns, not receiving yards, right?
- 30:58[SPEAKER_04]: That's at a point five.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna do higher on St.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: Juan Barclays, rushing in reception touchdowns at point five.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna do deck presscribe, 248 and a half.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: Passing yards, we're gonna go higher.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna do CDLAM higher, six and a half receptions.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: And then Dallas got it.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna go higher, three and a half receptions on Dallas got it.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_04]: That's five, that's five picks.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go ahead and make it happen.

- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I mean, I need, I just, I just bought it.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_04]: I bought a new unit.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, I don't tackle my pockets, but I like crazy.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_04]: I need to be the next billion here.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_04]: Bonne d'au, make picks win.

- 33:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's not out to everybody that's a lot of them.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_04]: Make sure you hit that like button, make sure that's the subscribe button.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_04]: If you are new, I appreciate you all checking in.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_04]: Again, it's not out to Nick Falado for joining us and breaking down the giant side of things as we get ready for this commander's game week one season opener.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so fellas.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_04]: Um, we heard from the giant side about how they're filling, um, they were strengths and weaknesses, uh, at least one of the surface, going into week one.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think week one is so tricky because, you know, first of all, I think that Washington is in a position where like you see all the players that's been like the turnover, right?
- 33:45[SPEAKER_04]: The roster turnover, um, and for better, but like,
- 33:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's still new people in plenty of places and you just don't know how things are going to work all through it, but like, I think for Washington when you look at this matchup, right?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_04]: There are, and this is just a general thought get your opinions on it, but there are several aspects that you can actually be confident, right?
- 34:15[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, Jayden Daniels, we know where he's at and I don't think that we're looking at a quarterback who is scaring a sophomore slump in the face.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think this is the person who is etching to get back on the field.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_04]: And actually just who don't same way that he did last year, if not better.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_04]: But then you're also looking at from a confidence factor.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_04]: Cliff Kingsbury and how he can utilize several different pieces in his offense.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_04]: a bolstered offensive line, which I think is going to have a test against these giants, right?
- 34:50[SPEAKER_04]: Like you're talking about a rookie at right tackle in Josh Connelly.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_04]: And while, you know, he drastically improved in terms of like the reports that was coming out on him in training camp.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_04]: He drastically improved over the weeks.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it wasn't flawless in preseason, right?
- 35:09[SPEAKER_04]: So you're talking a lot of person who has the protective himself against a line game stunts into his the athleticism off of those picks.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_04]: on and how he can really stay in phase or stay engaged with defenders when they're rushing on his side in the overall right side of the office of line like Nick Allegradi or Andrew Wattie like who's going to be his right who's going to be his his partner in crime when that right side.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_04]: But at the end of the day the office of line is drastically improved.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_04]: But I think also when you look at the defense the
- 35:48[SPEAKER_04]: gotten better and that's important or at least that you're confident in and that's your coordinator offensively.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's your quarterback.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_04]: That's your offensive line.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_04]: And then you're looking at Terry and Divo who while you don't need a six receivers to be like top tier, right?
- 36:12[SPEAKER_04]: If you're main two or good enough, you can work with these in depth.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_04]: So I think that this offense is really some unit that you can be fully confident in as at least going to come out of the gate.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's firing on cylinders, but they, I don't think is going to take long for them to jail pretty quickly, like, what are you all thinking about like the things that you're all accomplishing and going into this giant's game?
- 36:39[SPEAKER_06]: Well, for me, I want to talk about first, what I mean, I'm confident in the office to the point where I don't have a lot of questions, it's my questions lie on probably almost on every level of a defense, but office every level, okay?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, outside of the linebackers, I mean, even though, you know, you want to see some of those guys, you know, do better coverage.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_06]: But offensively, honestly, the only thing I'm expecting the only thing I'm really looking for offensively is more intrigued than it is concerned about anything.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_06]: And then trade is what's the next level for Jayden that he was like, that's the intrigued for me because
- 37:14[SPEAKER_06]: I really feel like we have a superstar.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_06]: And when you watch superstars, careers, progress, and I'm not even just talking about the NFL level.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking about the NBA level, any level you want to sports at, when you watch a superstar progress, you get to see every level, how high they go every year they take it up a notch in, you know, you don't really have questions of it.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_06]: So I kind of put Jane and Dan use there.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_06]: And for me, the intrigue is what's his next level?
- 37:39[SPEAKER_06]: on where does he take this office to the next level?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_06]: That's why we put on a show last, you know, what on Tuesday we're talking about his fat predictions and I'm like, yeah, I expect to do the go up at 33 to 36, which sounds crazy when you're talking about touchdowns that is passing touchdowns, which sounds crazy coming from a Washington fan because
- 37:56[SPEAKER_06]: as we're saying what Sunny Jurgerson is the last guy that probably threw 30 touchdowns in a season for us.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_06]: And we've had some, you know, while we may have had some dreadful seasons, we've had some really damn good offensive seasons, and none of those quarterbacks were able to take it to that level.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_06]: So, that's the superstar Jaden Daniels, who was just ranked number 21 in the NFL's players are rankings.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_06]: Does he take it up that next level and what does that look like for the rest of the office like what does that look like with Cliff Kingsbury so that's the that's the intriguing looking for when I'm watching you know and when you when you have a super starlight jaded days is not just about javing things and
- 38:33[SPEAKER_06]: What he can kind of produce for himself, but it's about how can he elevate everyone else around them?
- 38:38[SPEAKER_06]: And that that's what makes the offense exciting to watch because now you're like, okay, Deepo Sam you he's with a superstar quarterback now tearing the horn is in this
- 38:48[SPEAKER_06]: first year of this career going consecutive years with the same quarterback and this is supposed to be the superstar quarterback.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_06]: What does that bring out of this running back bring the hearing the coaches ring about?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_06]: So that's the things that I want to look for.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_06]: So for me, I will be very disappointed if the offense comes out of stagnant or whatever the case may be.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_06]: And as even with knowing that you've heard the things over the off-season that the off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off-off
- 39:34[SPEAKER_06]: and perform at a high level.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_06]: And that's because I believe that they have the super star level quarterback that they have.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_06]: Now, we're getting into the defense in our concerns because I can go there.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_06]: I hope y'all want to wait for it's on my level.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_06]: We're just confident.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, just one thing, I don't know where what's going on with AJ, but Donovan actually said that a couple of minutes ago, I'm about Dan Quinn and Joe with I'm actually with Don on on this one because I'm I'm in the same boat in terms of like how people view the defense I think that this is Joe with defense now granted no.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: Don't even nobody's ever going to say Dan Quinn in relation to the offense.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's always going to be cliff.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: No, Dan Quinn is a Dan Quinn is a defensive guy.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_04]: So like nobody's ever going to say Dan Quinn on offense, but
- 40:19[SPEAKER_04]: I give what you're saying in terms of Joe Witt because I think the correlation is just knowing that those two have been together for such a long time, but at the same time, like this is Joe Witt's venture, right?
- 40:31[SPEAKER_04]: This is Joe Witt's opportunity, and like this isn't going to be a situation where Dan Quinn is going to overshadow Joe Witt, right?
- 40:40[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody he gave an opportunity to, I think one thing, there's two things that I want to say.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll be quick, I think the first thing that I want to say when it comes to Joe with is like, he even was as one of his latest pressures, I remember exactly what I would imagine it was the last week.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_04]: But he had said one of the things he had learned is like not to be a micro manager, right?
- 41:06[SPEAKER_04]: Like allowing his coaches to do their jobs and then at moment, like as a micro manager, now that's what he said, everything else I'm saying, like this is me speaking.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: But like in that moment when you're allowing people to do their jobs, like this is somebody who's understanding
- 41:22[SPEAKER_04]: that you have to be able to trust people that you put in position on your staff so to see, let them do their thing and trust it.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever message that you're relying in your meetings and on the field is something that they're applying or that they keep in the back of their head as they're talking to their players in their position group.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_04]: That's the first thing.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_04]: The second thing is the out of them.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_04]: I know AJ doesn't agree with this,
- 41:50[SPEAKER_04]: Well, there was one here, or maybe on Twitter, I don't remember.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: Also, there's a big effort for Joe Whitt.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: This year, he has way more pieces that fit his scheme for the Washington Command and his defense, right?
- 42:06[SPEAKER_04]: His defense of style.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_04]: you have some physical guys on the on the boundary, um, you're also able to get with anybody with one, but you're also able to get some guys who play the run more this and a more disciplined fashion, especially on the edge.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_04]: And, and I think for, uh, Washington, that's all you, like you really needed a lot, right, you're a lot of bags of set, they're top heavy, in terms of your depth, but, you know, that's kind of what you ask for, right, um, last year,
- 42:33[SPEAKER_04]: You were behind the eight ball in terms of trying to write up on talent and your depth, but at the same time, the run game was that bad to the point where you got to figure out like do you have the answers.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't have a foregone conclusion on whether or not Joe with is that guy or not, I like what he did from a schematic standpoint last year.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_04]: But from a grand scheme of things on a macro level.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_04]: There's going to be a lot of eyes on Joe with this year because you were talking about a team who has that improved drastically defensively in some shape for more fashion.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_04]: And we're going to be right back in week 17 week 18 if not in the playoffs talking about what the fuck is going on with this defense.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_04]: So I said a lot down of in to your to your question, but I just want to make sure like yeah, you're right.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_04]: and your question, but also like, you got some pressure on them and I think that's important too because you can't just keep shifting the credit.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_04]: So then, coincident, especially when people think that they encourage the one, the reason why things are going right, defensively.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I think, uh, Donovan, your question is, is a fair one, uh, but I think a lot of people don't realize, uh, that Dan Quinn is essentially in the role of run of air.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_07]: He just does a way better job of managing shit.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_07]: That, that's really what it is.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_07]: Dan Quinn is not calling any plays.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_07]: He's not, uh, he's not calling.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_07]: No, I just hear your mic is flying out of fantasy.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_07]: I'm hearing the underdog fantasy this time.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_07]: I don't hear that at all.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_04]: Now hear it.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'll just talk over it, but that's what I'm hearing.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, I just think that a lot of people don't realize he's managing the overall coaching staff.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_07]: And that is what he's doing.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_07]: I think Joe with Jr.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_07]: will have a better season.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_07]: because they're able to understand what they're truly trying to do from a schematic standpoint.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_07]: I loved the way that Joe Way Jr.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_07]: was flexible in versatile within being able to adjust on the fly during games, during weeks, wasn't just stuck in a certain way.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_07]: He truly is a coach and coaches with his players in mind.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_07]: He was able to adjust on the fly.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_07]: So I think that, you know, adding this rotation of defensive linemen,
- 45:07[SPEAKER_07]: But also giving him his niche, which is defensive back play, some solid, more solid group of cornerbacks of work with.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_07]: I think that we will see the best of Joe with Jr., this upcoming season, and I think that more people will hear about his name being mentioned in coach and cycle care, so I think that he probably ends up leaving before Cliff Kingsbury, if this team ends up doing a great job of how they call their plays and also how
- 45:36[SPEAKER_07]: everything looks because I mean they have an opportunity to take a big leap from a defensive standpoint with the roster that they put together and yeah that could that could go a long way for this Washington unit if they can match the same energy that the office is bringing from a production standpoint.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_04]: I like that Jordan McGee's back.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you're doing.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_06]: And everybody's breathing about it.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_04]: Healthy, healthy off of the, from the injury, from the injury report standpoint, not even listed.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, Dr. If you had thoughts on that, too.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I actually do.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_06]: And Joe, you know, I didn't get the listen to the totality of the presser that he had today, but one of the things he mentioned was the communication is 100 times better this year.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_06]: It was last year.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_06]: Then that's one of the things I'm actually kind of looking to see.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we can't really see that.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_06]: We can kind of see when communication issues happen on the field because it'll be a broken down play or something like that.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_06]: But with Joe, we're kind of noting that in him kind of reiterated that a lot last season when he had issues defensively, that's one of the things I really don't want to see this year from Joe with Stephens.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_06]: And that's one of the things if I do see it as far
- 46:50[SPEAKER_06]: Then that's when I'm going to start to say, okay, Joe, if it's a communication that you use in a row, then it may be something you're not getting through to those guys and it it may be more of a culture thing than a player thing because it can't happen two years in a row.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_06]: But I'm really going to get Joe with a benefit of that because, yeah, obviously, you're still working with a roster that you're not really comfortable with.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_06]: Last year, especially defensively, you're missing a lot of pieces.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_06]: Now, you still don't have
- 47:15[SPEAKER_06]: you know ideally what you probably would like to have on the deepest as far as past fresh west and that's one of the questions I have going in I want to see how these guys get to the quarterback this year I want to see if they're able to get to the quarterback before guys and after rush or blitz you know multiple guys but if you do have to list those guys we want to see if those guys can get home so that's another thing you want to see from this deepest if you know if you can
- 47:37[SPEAKER_06]: get home before can Joe with manufacturer exotic things to make the quarterback uncomfortable for the other team.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_06]: So that's one of the things I'm looking for and obviously I want to see what that secondary can do.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_06]: I want to see if the communication issues, like I've been mentioning, if they're kind of gone, because a lot of those communication issues for my understanding,
- 47:55[SPEAKER_06]: came from that secondary unit.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_06]: So you want to see if that's cleared up.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_06]: You want to see outside of Bob and Wagner who kind of emerges as a leader in the field.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_06]: You've been here at Quah Martin's name a lot.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_06]: Dan Quinn really thinks Quah Martin is about to go to this next level.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm kind of looking at a more Martin.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, and I'm kind of looking at him, you know, not only to go to this next level, but is he going to be that next leader on that defense like
- 48:17[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I want to see.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_06]: And if you have a couple of leaders in the defense, I feel like you're going to be a much improved defense.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_06]: So you have some questions on the defense.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_06]: It's questions personnel was, but I also think it's fair to question Joe with that.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I'm a benefit of that.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_06]: And I do believe he deserves.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not a year, I've been afraid to doubt what better personnel, what we at least perceive to be better personnel.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_06]: So again, I don't want to see the communication issues come up.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want to see that in the process from Joe Whit, because if he starts talking about communication issues and we're seeing it on the field this year, then I will kind of feel like he's telling on himself a bit, he's kind of exposing himself.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so let's go ahead, get through.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: Um, we get through a few predictions and then get to our score prediction as well for the game.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_04]: Um, all right.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_04]: For Washington, I think let's kind of see where we are with Jaden Dan use and in this offense.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_04]: What do we think is going to take for them to be successful offensively outstart?
- 49:32[SPEAKER_04]: And I think for Washington,
- 49:34[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think the tricky thing and I said this earlier in the show, but I think it's it's it's a real deal like this, the way that this turn the turn over has been on this roster.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_04]: There's just some things that you just don't know yet about what this team is gonna look like in certain positions.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_04]: The defensive line is a big deal, right?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_04]: Now, and while I'm fully confident in what the cornerback position, the secondary is gonna look like, we technically still don't know because that's entirely flipped out over as well.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_04]: Offensively saying thing in terms of the running back group, right in the offensive line, like how do you jail in the run game?
- 50:17[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, and my main thing in terms of how to beat New York, um, obviously it falls on Jane and Daniel's first and foremost like do your thing where, but at the same time, you got to find somebody in that running game while they're going to probably go by committee and maybe even I think Eccler who's going to take the bulk of things in week one, you got to find somebody who can really tote the rut.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_04]: and and and give you that consistency in the ground game uh and and I don't know where's going to come from but at the same time with the New York Giants whether it's uh Jaden Daniels, whether it's a running back um you're going to be able to you're you're going to have to be able to establish rounds on the perimeter and the interior um and I think for abdule Carter a rookie who is about to get
- 51:11[SPEAKER_04]: or a good way, but like, that's how this first game, first NFL game.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I wouldn't be at all surprise if Washington found ways to identify which side he's on and target him in the run game to make him defend the run set the age, however, which they want to line them up.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but you've got to find a way to establish that ground game, um, especially against this
- 51:41[SPEAKER_04]: Debo Terry connection.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_04]: Excuse me, that Debo Terry combination at receiver is something that I think can really have an opportunity to break out in the first week of the season as well.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_04]: You just have to play all of your strengths.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_04]: And I think Cliff King's worry will have an idea of how to do that, but more importantly, ground game for me and test that defensive line, especially a defensive line that is very strong in the past game versus the run.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I think that the weather is also called us for rain on Sunday from what I'm saying.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, that's just me looking from my app.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not in the country.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't know.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_07]: That's a different time on Sunday for the game.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_07]: But I would just say, you know, protecting the ball.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_07]: And you
- 52:31[SPEAKER_07]: You meant to something about attacking a certain side of the ball.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_07]: I think that if a James Hudson is at left tackle versus the Andrew Thomas, that is a huge deal.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_07]: You can overload that side and getting after Russell Wilson and flesh him outside.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's a big opportunity for us as fans to even see a Louvre in the Von Miller rushing past wrestling the quarterback at the same time.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_07]: I think those are advantages from a past rest standpoint, but everything starts with the same with stopping the run.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_07]: It's going to be huge to see how Javan can launch the rompane and the rest of that group work together as far as stopping the run along with Dietrich Wise and Doris Armstrong.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, you know, you definitely want to see how this offense gets started.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_07]: It has a collective.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm already kind of open to the fact that things might start off slow first half.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_07]: for both units, just because you got to get back into the group of playing regular season football and get in all these snaps.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, I think that Washington has the opportunity to truly attack Russell Wilson the quarterback and put up some points early to where their guys will spend their years back and truly pass rush and get after the quarterback.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_06]: I actually got three keys to the game and J and J be I think you do Coke or
- 54:00[SPEAKER_04]: I knew I knew that was going to get it for those that's listening JB put in the chat Terry McClone 14 TD Divo San New 70's JB don't worry man.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think you don't crack bro But you don't you just stop when he when he when he who after this crack is what you might be drunk He's like saying the call would get me that really like Managa three keys to the game my first key
- 54:26[SPEAKER_06]: Is I'm with more you have to be able to run the ball in this game because we already know what the giant is want to do this if they want to get that jade and things they want to make life uncomfortable for jade and things you have to be.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_06]: two-dimensional in his game.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_06]: You can't be one-dimensional.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_06]: That's just the day the day you show.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you have to be able to run the ball.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't think it has to necessarily be one player that a person who's taken run the ball.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_06]: I think you have to just show it as a totality as a team.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_06]: You can go out there and beat these guys on the ground.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_06]: And once you do that, then everything else opens up.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_06]: The jazz can't just sit back and tee off on Jane and Dangos just sit in everything, but the kids are sinking Jane and Dangos.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_06]: So definitely you want to see the ground gangas established, whether that's Jane and Dangos, whether that's awesome.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_06]: whether that's Chris Robby is Bill McMickle's whoever is getting the ball.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_06]: You want to see those wings open up.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_06]: You want to see them fully digest.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_06]: If that's a line in that standpoint, you want to see them weigh those guys down because that's how you wear a passenger down.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_06]: It's you really didn't want to run anything and I do think they could probably understand this.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_06]: So that's one of my keys there.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_06]: My other key is something.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_06]: that we almost lost in a chance to, we'll be keeping talking about that week two game open a season of last year, we talk about Washington, that's corn and in touchdowns, they kick, feel goes the whole game.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_06]: Well, one of the reasons they were kick-a-fill was that whole game was because they made a lot of stupid mistakes and penalties and undisciplined mistakes.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_06]: Always the reason, yes, yes, those raise on penalties.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_06]: And that kind of, not just the raise on the undisciplinedness was kind of rearing his head and the free season.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_06]: Like we've seen that from this team, even though we didn't see the start as a lot of the free season, we've seen some of the undisciplined play and some of those mistakes and the free season.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_06]: And you just hope that doesn't carry over to the regular season.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_06]: If you're making those mistakes this game week one, you're going to keep the giants in a game.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_06]: And that's the last thing you want to do.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_06]: Last thing you want to do is keep a team of the game that you feel you're better than and make them feel like they have a chance to beat you because after all they're really going to feel like they're going to beat you and it's going to be anybody's game at any point.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_06]: So please come out and, you know, just play discipline football, and this comes from a coach's standpoint.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: I love Dan Quinn.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a huge Dan Quinn fan, but if you come out there and you play a discipline football, when you kind of know that this is kind of a thing that's been in the killings healed for your teams and those bad losses, then that's going to say to me, Dan Quinn, you have to get this team to start really listening.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_06]: they're playing a discipline football and we've seen it over and over.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_06]: So that's key number two.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_06]: Go out there and play discipline football.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_06]: Do not kill yourself because I do believe this seems going to be able to get to the red zone when they want to, but they're going to have to finish these drives.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_06]: And I think the only thing to stop this scene for finishing drives is this team itself, you know, I think this team, the only thing to stop them this week is them killing themselves.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_06]: And my last key of the game.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_06]: is something Joe Whit has been talking about, you know, last year he talked about it today.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_06]: We have to create turnovers.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_06]: This team has to create turnovers.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_06]: And that's the deepest you want to be.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_06]: This is what you have to start showing.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_06]: And last year we wanted to play off teams.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_06]: One of the only play off teams, but like less than created 20 turnovers for a season.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_06]: So if you want to be a team that's going to be contended in this year and you want to show that you're going to be a contender and a
- 57:44[SPEAKER_06]: You're gonna have to go out there and start showing it from a defensive standpoint that we can create turnovers.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_06]: Give this dynamic office more chances with the ball, give this dynamic office more chances to create inexpensive lead.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_06]: So the defense could play more safer and the defense could play and more in ease.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_06]: So those are my three keys to the game.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_06]: Running the ball, discipline football, create turnovers.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, ball is definitely life.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, if you seen the success that Washington was able to have in the postseason,
- 58:14[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of that was predicated off of being able to create those turnovers, whether you look at, you know, the force fumble that Bobby Wagner recovered against Tampa.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_07]: The game against Detroit, when Kwan Martin had his pick six, Mikey had what two picks.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but the big one in the end zone, when they were dropping a little bit.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but then when they played the Eagles, they were what, negative three, negative four.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so it's like, those turnovers are a huge thing.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_07]: So, you know, when they preach about the ballless life, it can go even further way in the regular season if they can go ahead and, you know, flip the field and a provide more opportunities to that office.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_07]: So that's definitely something I agree big time with, with drain that.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_07]: That's a key not just for the game, but for the entire season.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, absolutely.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, last thing I got to say before we get into predictions,
- 59:13[SPEAKER_04]: Y'all better be on a damn damn small.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not doing the show, San Diego.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_06]: I'm on a show.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm on a show.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_06]: I'm on a show.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_06]: I'm on a show.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a show.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm on a
- 59:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you, where I can't, I lost my shit when we lost him just last year, but I had to watch that man dance.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_04]: He did just enjoy the new dance.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_06]: It was the cotton dance, the 2024 version of a cotton dance that I had to witness him doing at Northwest Stadium last year.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_04]: We got to spend them on the focus, but we got to spend them for her.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_04]: I actually, but honestly, generally speaking, and I'm getting into our four predictions at MVP right now, um, I,
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: I have a 60 40 lean that Washington will win by more than one possession, like, I really genuinely do see that, um, don't be scared at all, predict it.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, already told us you only got one score.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, 24, 24, 24, 17 is my prediction, but I think, yeah, 24, 17 is my prediction, 7.7 point game, maybe they score, like a bag door, I'm not even a bag door because it's pretty six and a half, but like a late touchdown, to close it to one possession, maybe like 24, 10, with like two minutes left or, or my with four minutes
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_04]: But I think that 6040 Washington has a chance to really like take over this game honestly like that's how confident I am in the offense And that's how confident I am in like that the past for us to an extent like I think doors on strong this entire time this entire show I'm afraid that's our first time bringing his name up.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_04]: I think he has an opportunity to really like dive into like another year development
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_04]: That's been a beneficial for Washington.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's been limited with an injury, him and no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_04]: Before what is worth, no, a brown.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_04]: said he'd good to go, like it ain't even a question for him.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_04]: So I haven't heard doors on a screen, but I would imagine something similar.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't know.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, but anyway, that's kind of where I met.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_04]: 60, 40 that Washington wins about more than one possession, uh, but my official prediction, my record or assuming my score is a 24, 17.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_04]: Um, three turdies is good enough against New York Giants and week one on my thing to MVP.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_04]: Deepo.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_04]: I obviously think he's going to be below.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_04]: Um, Moopie's brought think he's want, I think his debuts will be pretty incredible for Washington.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I think when we get into the, what did they call it, the nuts and crannies of the game?
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_07]: Um, yeah, I'm going to go with, uh, watch his him winning.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, I'm going to say 31.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_07]: Uh,
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_07]: I'm gonna say 31 13, I think that Washington gets the ball rolling, J.D.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_07]: 5 is a guy.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_07]: I think that, you know, malls just said that he believes like MVP the game is deep O Samuel.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_07]: I think a lot of people don't understand the player that he is.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_07]: I think a lot of the fan base didn't see a lot of these San Francisco games and don't truly understand the playmaker that he is.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_07]: but add to him to the mix with Terry McClellan and what that office did last year.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_07]: I think it just opens up the field even more and like I said, I like I said Tuesday, I think that they want to test the giants from a horizontal.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_07]: A horizontal standpoint, I think that Debo gets a lot of touches in general from the screen game.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_07]: I think J.L.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_07]: I think Malik Neighbors had an amazing game last year, but things are different, you know?
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_07]: You got some corners that could truly play into your scheme.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_07]: You feel like you can... Maybe you probably not going to have him travel, but I think maybe...
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_07]: what they will do is try to avoid the outside some and have them line up in a slot at times going against Mikey, but I think Mikey will be more comfortable knowing what to expect.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_07]: But I think that's the only thing you're really concerned about from a giant standpoint, offensively.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think I'm not concerned about Russell Wilson.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_07]: Not concerned about Tyrone Tracy Jr.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_07]: Theo Johnson is a solid tight end, but that's not somebody that concerns me.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_07]: I just think that this defense is going to get after the stunts, the pressure is going to be too much for New York to handle, and I think that Washington wins convincingly.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_07]: ring a fame on it's just saying 10 months at a half time going to be a hell of a game so yeah that's that's what i think in can one of y'all take the weather for me because like i said this it's it's it's schedule is it shows rain on sunday but it doesn't show specifically like the album or time that is that's one two rain so it looks like at one o'clock at its clear okay so yeah i just think i just think that watching it also has better numbers from
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_07]: of run standpoint, even if, you know, I've though Carter, Brian Burns, Decks of Lawrence, and a cave on a pivotal, do their thing from a past run standpoint.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_07]: I just feel like Jaden can connect with guys outside of the pocket.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_07]: He can still make those plays.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_07]: And I think that's one of the most dangerous things.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't really, I'm not really a fan of the Giants,
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_07]: I just think that it's going to be an amazing output from this offense.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_07]: They might start off with a little sluggish, but I think they get the job done.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_07]: Like I said, 31, 13.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_07]: So is the MVP?
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_07]: My MVP for the game, I will go with Debo Samuel and from the offensive standpoint.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_07]: And then from a defensive standpoint, I will say the defense of line.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_07]: including the past wrestlers, Louis Vuitton, Bond Miller.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_04]: Have you taught you a median girlfriend, Jayden Daniels and who they are?
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_07]: I said, come on, come on, come on, it's that.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_07]: Jayden Daniels, number five.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_07]: Jayden Daniels, correct?
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no, it's single, it's single.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_07]: I've been, I had a conversation with a guy at breakfast of the day.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_07]: And he was just raving about Jayden Daniels out here.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they know about him out here.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_07]: They ain't got the jerseys and stuff.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_07]: Sorry.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_07]: But they do know about him out here for sure.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_07]: They're excited for football season start.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, I could say he's a household name at this point.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_06]: All right, for me, and I'm in full alone home remote.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_06]: And I think we're going to be a reason to be
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_06]: These, I mean, I think we are gonna be rooting for you really damn good team this year.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_06]: We gotta damn good quarterback.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_06]: And the giants, I think we're, I think Washington's coming out making a statement this week.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_06]: And one of the deepest side of the football I think they'll make a statement, they're hungry.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_06]: They're here to prove that we're not just all jaded days, we're not just all offense.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_06]: So with that, say it, Washington for me.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_06]: I'm up this up a little bit.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_06]: I was going to say 31, but I think ages just hit there.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to give a one more test and I'm going to say one of those test test couple of defensive side of the football.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_06]: Watch until Wednesday, 38, 17 this week against the Giants.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_06]: I think the MVP, you know, y'all pick Debo, I'm going with the MVP who I'm going to predict the MVP of the league this year.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_06]: That's Jane and James.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_06]: I think Data Tangers might MVP this year.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_06]: If Washington's going to be the team that I think they're going to be this year, he's going to put up those MVP type numbers.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_06]: The league is going to get behind them.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_06]: He's going to make a statement this week.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_06]: Washington was 38, 17.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_06]: They were one score either on defense or
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_06]: Thursday night game gets creepy.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, I know you guys are gamblers, so would you guys gamble on at any time touchdown from Luke McAfrey?
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, absolutely not.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_06]: I like losing money.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_06]: Now that's not it, Lucas, go on, it's not gonna be better.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_04]: Ain't not wrong with putting 50 cent on edge, I don't want to put it on.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_04]: I look, anything I gotta do to get some bread, I do it.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_04]: It was a time, it's funny though.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't time last year.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_04]: Why did three straight games for Luke McAfee, because I thought this time was near brain, any income close, any income is for us.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's not even on my radar, I'm sorry.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not even a Luke Hater like AJ.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_06]: AJ, AJ, I'm not a Luke Hater.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_07]: I think when you look at the Giants corner bags, I mean, Beyonce banks and Paulson and Debo, I mean, Paulson and Debo definitely struggles.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_07]: He could play corner, but he struggles with a lot of penalties.
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_07]: So it'll be interesting, and I think,
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_07]: I think the only reason why some people even think this game could be closer is only because of the past for us.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_07]: But if you're if you're being if you're whipping a ass.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Luke Kingsbury knows about that past for a suit, you know, if we know about that past, Luke Kingsbury knows about that ship too.
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and that's why, that's why the investment of the office was so imperative in acquiring a learned utensil and also with Josh Connelly because it's about going against group of guys like this, the Eagles and other, you know, other units.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_07]: So I think this will speak volumes of, you know, what they thought was the main objective
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_07]: their off-season versus how we viewed it, maybe going and getting initially down court defense event, investing in that online, so it'll be interesting.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, off to a minute, I'm in many in at the moment, but I'll be back tomorrow.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we are American.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_07]: We are about to watch Thursday, and football.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we can't get straight out of it.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_07]: We're getting straight out of it.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_07]: I got to try to stream it on YouTube right now, so it's all on right now, hopefully.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_04]: You can't watch prom.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_07]: It's not a promise.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to see, uh, yeah, uh, we were to advice for anybody that's out there looking for for many plays for whatever, uh, betting or gambling or or pick website or app.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, don't don't do that.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_04]: No, I think right stick stick to the guys, you know, stick to the guys, you know, it's going to get the answer on man.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I put up for us, man.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_07]: Sound of the AJ song, so if Luke McAfee score is Sunday, we get to slap you in the face.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_07]: No, he just left.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_07]: No, he just left.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_04]: No, he just left.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_04]: No, he just left.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_04]: No, he just left.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_08]: He just left.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_04]: He just left.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_03]: He just left.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to let them hit the hole that you're going to cut it off.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to pluck the foam along and you're going to punch it off.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_03]: You're the funny savvy hitters put your pads in.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_03]: Don't be looking for the rest.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_03]: Don't don't fly again.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_03]: Keep that on me now.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_03]: Keep the police tight.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_03]: You get tight.
- 1:11:44[SPEAKER_03]: You want to win by any means, right?
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_03]: You should look alive.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_03]: This is strawberry now.
