- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: I made his watch for the sake of it.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've been watching like the dinosaur, John on Netflix is actually pretty interesting.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if y'all watched it at all.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_05]: Is it real dinosaurs?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: John, the John with Morgan Freeman area.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh, it's recent, came out, it came out this year.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know when, you know, like, January, February.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_04]: Put on my watch.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_04]: I was, love is blood, reunion.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_04]: And then that joint started with that line to me, and I need to catch up on, uh, you know what's the pit?
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do watch it, but I haven't watched it since I was just been letting episodes by look.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_05]: You know, memories of a killer, that's the joint I've been watching on Fox.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's my sad that was music to come here.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's good.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_05]: You're my man off the soprano's on it.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we got some things watch that's like the third time I heard about memories of a killer It's always first season so you can catch up pretty quickly Okay, um well like I said we got things to do shows to watch games to watch But at the same time commanders news has been flowing since we've last been on this past Tuesday I think we start to see the theme here right I think seven
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: defensive signings for Washington, and I think we just had some signings.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let me get out of it.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say before my computer freeze.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: We just had some signings today with Deami Brown and all right, there we go.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: uh, van Jefferson, excuse me, uh, signed in with Washington, uh, today to death receivers.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: The army ground comes back after a year in Jacksonville.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: The work out for you know, it was crazy.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: The army started out in Jacksonville and then it just something happened.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: Um, he, he went to the army ground.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but,
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's back.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to figure out who he is as a player.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just hope he feels out that deck role as they intend him to.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: Chinkle Conquo signed the day after we recorded so that Wednesday, let's start there.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a big deal for Washington.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: The vertical thread, that's a person who can win on all three levels as a receiver.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care that, you know, yes, issues in the run game or just as a blocker in general, I don't think you make a move like that in chief to really worry about what he can do in the run game.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: You need help in the past game.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: You need help at the tightest spot.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: And somebody who can be a mismatch from a size standpoint.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: So where we at?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: How you feel about Jake?
- 4:55[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I'm excited about the pick-up.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_04]: I had him high on my whisteless.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_04]: Think all of us pretty much had him on our whisteless.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_04]: You talking about a guy who hasn't even resists potential yet being in a bad situation in Tennessee.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_04]: with coaching changes, quarterback changes, no real stability from off as a standpoint.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_04]: Now being able to have his experience in the NFL and now be with a quarterback in Jaden Dales who's extremely special.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_04]: And getting to utilize what his best traits are, which is his speed and his athleticism.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_04]: He said in his presser,
- 5:42[SPEAKER_04]: with the media that David Blow told him and showed him that he would be used similar to how Laporta was used in the Detroit lines offense.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's huge, you know, it's not like he can't block, maybe he's not John Bates or one of the best block and tight ends, but you don't need that.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_04]: You need someone to come to here and be a real pret and receiving game as you have.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_04]: As you have John Bates as a blocker, Ben Senate, he's just a tight end or whatever the hell he is.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I guess he blocks better than he receives.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so I'm excited for the move and I'm a static to see how he gets utilized.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully it does pair up to be similar to how LaPore has been used in a Detroit and even how Lovelin, um, you know, towards the back end of the season and started being used with Chicago and uh, happy birthday to one of our listeners and followers Rob Miller, happy birthday to you.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_04]: Hope you have a great and blessed one.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: happy be the rock.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yes sir, happy birthday, rock, man.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate you.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much for your birthday, too, man.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate that.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Tell us how old you are.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Drake, when I had 30 shots, 40 shots, I was like, if you're a be the best.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_05]: No, I'm not because I got to watch a game tonight, Rob.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_05]: Hopefully you drink something good tonight, brother.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_05]: But, man, no, I'm excited about the kid move.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_05]: I mean,
- 7:11[SPEAKER_05]: For me personally, tight-end was a big need going into this off-season.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought of the tight-end position when you look at the pre-age of market.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_05]: This is one of the strongest markets in all the free agency to me because we had so many guys available.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_05]: And this was even before CalPit to got franchise tagged by the Falcons.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_05]: But she was one of those guys that was high on my list.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you needed to start tight-end because what you had right now, we're doing.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_05]: You can not go into this season with just convincing any one of Vincent and John Bates were going to be your start and tight ends or that's your tight end room because for one John Bates is known as a blocker and Vincent, we still haven't seen anything yet that suggests this guy's going to be a
- 7:51[SPEAKER_05]: threatening NFL, even at the tight end position.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm glad that they were able to address that.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_05]: They addressed it with the thing, the thing of free agency so far in young guys who shown flashes as some have started to show the production, but they still have that high upside.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_05]: Now believe she has that high upside and Jayden will be the perfect quarterback to kind of bear with him.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_05]: because you seen with Jayden did what Fizzac hurts, Fizzac hurts was well past his crown, but Fizzac hurts was a very valuable target, and what was the one thing we all wish Fizzac did more, we wish Fizzac hurts did more, and that's the one thing that she was known for in Tennessee, he was known to do well after the catch, but Fizzac hurts was just reliable with the catch.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_05]: He catches, he goes down pretty soon after that, but he was not getting you a lot more yards after that,
- 8:43[SPEAKER_05]: where as a chiegel cockle, it gives you that threat, that vertical recievement threat.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he can beat some guys down field.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_05]: When he gets the ball in his hand, he can make plays.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't want to go down on first contact, like he's taking guys with them.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_05]: He's running over guys, he's running through guys.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_05]: So the potential that cheek has in his office is very exciting.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he's shown the flashes, even in an enemic Tennessee office before Cam War got there.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm
- 9:09[SPEAKER_05]: I don't care more about a way.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's going to be something in this league, but even before that you seeing some of those flashes with an O'Connor.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_05]: So this to me, I mean, not even not a not what this respect can.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_05]: upside that he hopes to get his career.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_05]: And now we as fans hope we see like this has much more upside than a Zach Earth's heads for the last couple of years for this offense.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: So for me, A plus signin' very happy with it, you know, I mean, I'm just hoping for the best.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me, stickin' with the offensive side of the ball.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: We shot white as a guy that I think was,
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, honestly, pretty telegraph to Washington, you know, I didn't get to see his full pressure just rest in quotes.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously Washington was among his top choices, given any sign to a one year deal for like two, three million.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think what's the numbers, you know, I think the question was as who was is like was Washington is top choice and he said they were one of the couple up there.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, I think this for for a lot of people who I've had conversations with or just seeing across my socials.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, stuff they knows or turning knows up that Rashad.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's not that big a deal for him to be here in Washington.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: And what I mean from that is like in a negative sense, I don't just like he's a passcatcher.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: You need that help.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's a good receiver from the run-in-back standpoint.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to need that he has to reputation coming out of Tampa as one of the best pass blockers pass protectors from the run-in-back position.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: that they've seen come through Tampa, right?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I think from the standpoint of just understanding what Rashad can bring to this team.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: You have two running backs when you're roster.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: They let Chris Robbery get his go.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: Finally, he was a restrictive reagent for 30 years.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: And they just let him flourish.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: I hope he does well on Jacksonville, right?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: But you have two running backs when you're roster.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, one before Versailles, right?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: So now is crosskey merit and Versailles.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this move indicates that either one of these guys is gonna be the number one running back.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: So there's plenty of things left in the fold for this position.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: I even think that one of the runbacks who would let go has a possibility coming back, me, Nichols.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: He may come back and that's still not gonna stop Washington from signing or drafting or running back if they need to.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I asked this question,
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: on social media is like, who would be the third and four of runnabacks?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and here's where I want to just put a pause for people.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: Look, man.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know y'all love Jordan love.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I keep saying it.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah, I know y'all love Jeremiah.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know y'all love Jeremiah, man.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand it.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's, uh, he's, he's staring you in the face from the stamp one of like this could be something special in Washington.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I think y'all got a big, a little bit deeper at the running back position.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you're trying to figure out who the potential options are, like, there's a good possibility that Jeremiah love this, and I'm just gonna start saying this last night.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: That love doesn't make it two, seven, all to this.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think while it's okay to assume that next, that third running back may be love,
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: start doing your research on other on the best because they're not they're not done with just two and they're not going to be done at three you need at least five going into precies in a training camp
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: So just keep that in mind, when you think about the future of the position, I don't know what it's going to look like.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: It will be great if love does get drafted at 7 if you can get him, but yeah, this is not a position that is something that I'm sitting here like, okay, it's, it's Jeremiah or or bus.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's going to be way more options that people aren't considering and you're probably going to upset yourself if you don't start doing the homework now.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I definitely agree with you.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think anyone should be fixated on love or any particular player at seven, but especially love when you look at the teams in front of Washington selecting at what?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_04]: Five and I think it's four and five.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_04]: You have the Titans and you have the New York Giants.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_04]: They easily could cause select Jordan Love.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they have a glaring hole at running back in both of them.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_05]: Jeremiah, I said Jordan Love.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_05]: You said Jordan, Morgan, that would blame all for that.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it would blame all for that.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_04]: So Jeremiah, love, like you, you gotta be mindful of that.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_04]: I think.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said, more like they're not done at the running back position.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_04]: So even if they were to even acquire a love in the draft, they probably get another running back late round or undrafted to try to make the roster.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think until you have your bonafide number one with this organization at that position, you got to keep adding to that room, whether it be free agency or to drive, but Rashad White, definitely a receiving running back, a receiving back, I should say, he's okay running in between the tackles and outside, but
- 15:14[SPEAKER_04]: He's not like all-world.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_04]: He's not your RB1, but as a threat receiving watch, he could feel that role as an awesome Eccler had here with Washington.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: Also great in past block and like Jamal touched on.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_04]: I just think that it's going to be very interesting to see how they end up
- 15:37[SPEAKER_04]: adding to this room.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's why a lot of us as Washington fans have our eye on April 23rd to see what takes place.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_04]: Because there's so many different directions that they could go with as many additions that they've added to the defensive side.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_04]: There really hasn't been as much put in.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_04]: to the office decide, I guess I don't know if I, I don't know this confirmed or not, but we have somebody saying that Chris Paul just resigned.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_04]: It's confirmed.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he just said what you're doing.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, so pretty much, you know, you're seeing guys like Rashad signed for one year or two mil.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: You're seeing, now I'm your brown who a lot of people were arguing with us last year about signing to an extended deal.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: He went and signed for one year or ten mil in Jacksonville,
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: right back here for two-minute.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_04]: You've only um, Adam Peters has seen to let the market dictate itself and and now going about acquiring guys either back into the fall or adding death.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, what was what's the numbers on Chris Paul?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_04]: It's just the one here, but I said, yeah, yeah.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_04]: So that's perfect.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_04]: Getting crisp all for one year because a lot of people thought that he would be signing a multi-year deal at the guard position.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, his market didn't fall in place like how he envisioned.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_04]: Same with, you know, the left tackle from the Packers machine Walker is from the DMV area.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_04]: He just had to sign a one year deal with the Panthers today.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I'm excited to see what can be done at that position, but they definitely need more.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, for me personally.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_05]: uh, overshot white.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's on the rate of signing in a sense, especially when you think about in terms of the overall free agency so far.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_05]: But he's one of those ones that can kind of go under the radar.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_05]: Like he's not going to be a guy expected to come in here and be a starter or a guy that's going to come in here and be a bail cow or anything like that.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_05]: But I think he's one of those utility run at that piece is that you need your run at that room.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he pretty much is one of those guys you can say he does a lot of things well.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_05]: He may not do anything greatly.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_05]: He's not a whole run threat, you know, he's not the guy that's going to be the three-day all-back.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_05]: But he's a guy that can come in here.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_05]: He can spell RB number one.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_05]: He can be the past catcher out of the backfield.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_05]: He's also pretty damn good and past pro.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, you have to think too, and I know the talk is, and a lot of loss is a fancy
- 18:06[SPEAKER_05]: Fans have tunnel vision at this point for Jeremiah Davis.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_05]: Not even just for the run-and-back position, but just in the draft overall I'm at the point now where I'm seeing guys is like we have to only draft Jeremiah love and I'm like he may not be there now He's there cool.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_05]: I will be at this point.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I would be perfectly fine with sound drafted
- 18:26[SPEAKER_05]: I dare amount love because I do think what you did to free HC so far is kind of set you up to be in position to kind of drag that position But you can't have subtle vision because I mean You still need why for CB help you still need help elsewhere But our shop white to the room and a bill cross the marriage those are the only two running backs on the roster right right now It's under contract They're not done.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_05]: They're not done by any stretch
- 18:51[SPEAKER_05]: And even if you don't get a Jeremiah love, you still need something else there.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, because Bill, you don't trust them fully.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you, or at least you can't go into the season.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_05]: They can, I trust them through the course of 17 games in a season.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_05]: and we're sure white, I don't think he's built to be a bell cow back to be for 17 games in a season.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_05]: I think that if those two were in your run-and-back room, there's some kind of run-and-back by committee thing going on.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_05]: So you need to add something there.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_05]: And that's why to me, I'm thinking when I'm watching the free agency and I'm watching however you think it's going so far.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm thinking that Adolf Peters must have something up his sleeve up the run-and-back position.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, obviously as a GM, you don't expect him to just be expecting or waiting for a German love to fall into his lap, but something else has to happen here.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Jeremy Ming Nicholas is still out there and pretty sure I don't think I've heard anything about him being sad.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_05]: He could be a guy coming back, but I do think there's something else that has to happen there.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_05]: And, um,
- 19:52[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if running back by committee gets anyone excited about what, you know, going into the season, like if you're going into a run-and-back by committee situation.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_05]: Again, unless you have more weapons at the wide receiver position, you help to tie them position, right?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_05]: But if you don't add anything outside of what we heard today, that they had it at the wide receiver position, I mean, I know that Brandon and I use this kind of an elephant in a room, but still I didn't think
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was going to mention, we can go to receiver 2.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: I was just going to mention, sometimes intention is different from like what actually ends up playing out like they may actually have some, they may have some bodies that they want somebody to take over the role that run it back.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: They may not, might have the idea of doing a committee approach, if they can find somebody or if they can have somebody on this, on this, uh, team, who can
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: really like push himself forward, prepare themselves to be like that number one back.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and I don't know if they think that cross-key merit is the guy, and maybe somebody that they end up signing or draft in later, but sometimes the intention is to like, which one of y'all is gonna actually take this number one spot and never, who's gonna be the Riku Dado?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, who's gonna take that spot and not give it back?
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Um, even though history's a little different, right?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm gonna say, I don't know if you would be Rico Donald, but yeah, I'm about to have less.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think we understand like where he took off like he took off he had a solid one and a half year verse and that's kind of what I meant like his perception change and I think that's what guy him the opportunity and Pittsburgh like he's going to be no more got Pittsburgh.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, uh, Van Jefferson, the Army Brown, um, uh, who the Luke McAfrey, uh, where else are we at?
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Taylor Burks, uh, uh, I was blanking.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: I was blanking on Jayla name, my bad.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, like,
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I said, I said the depth was a D-plus and that was me being like brutally honest compared to like even last year.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: I did think, we had this conversation two years ago and shot out.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably, I shouldn't have changed.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: I was trying to give a shot out to the guy who actually, he brought our conversation up from Shabbard Island like two years ago and he was talking about this exact same thing.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, yeah, I had this conversation.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like you damn right and I remember it like me giving it I thought that 2024
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: depth was better than, like, even what this one is.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not comparing it to 2025, but I thought this one was better than, I'm just giving me 2024's depth was better than what 2026 is currently.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: And like, obviously, this is with the notion of knowing, I don't think they're done.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Adam Peters is very much aware that they need to continue building in this spot.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: And some of that building maybe with, like, I, you, um,
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I pray to God that he don't settle at IU, like I hope that he understands that you need more.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I think like right now, just assessing everything at phase value, I don't think there's any more free agency moves.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think it's IU and a draft, a draft or receiver.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know if that's in the first round.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: The way things are unfolding or a third rounder or a later round pick.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: So this is kind of one of those positions, man.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think you got to be super aware of like not wasting Jaden's time.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then shout out to 1031.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: because he brought up in the shadows well, you got to make sure that you do your best to sign them surrounding with that talent.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: And if you aren't being aggressive, which they have been at this point, they've just been coming in second.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: You got to do was best for for your boy, and make sure that he got some real talent to throw to.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean,
- 24:13[SPEAKER_04]: Even even the guys that they ended up coming in second, and I think it's a blessing to disguise, not an out of Alec Pierce fan.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not a Romeo and dog fan.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_04]: But it's like, I get the intention.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_04]: So I think what I took away from that was they know that they have a glaring need.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_04]: at that wide receiver position and unlike previous years under Adam Peter so far, they made her priority to acquire some of these veteran guys now rather than during training camp or during the season, you know, getting a van Jefferson who's been around the league for
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: sometimes been in a different office of systems, Sean McVay, Tennessee, I think he might have even been.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: And he was in Pittsburgh, he was in Atlanta for a little bit.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: And then also bring it to the Army back into the fall.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_04]: He's one of those guys that was able to have some great games under Jayden Daniels.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_04]: Jayden's favorite thought was the post he filmed me.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_04]: he was able to take advantage of that.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: And I just think at the wide receiver position, you said that the grade that you give is a D-minus, you said D-plush.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: D-plush?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: I give it a incomplete because, yes, we do know that they're inevitable at some point.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_04]: Whenever it happens, it is Brendan Ayuk is going to become a commander.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_04]: But even if you add him,
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: you still need more because you have to look beyond just even this season next year Terry McClellan is out.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: So you write back in the need in another wide receiver, even at BA ends up working out like now he's forecasted as your number one, but then who else can you rely on?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_04]: Because everybody else
- 26:00[SPEAKER_04]: is either guys that have not shown that they have the capability of being sufficient enough to be counted on as a number two or number three in a lane or a McAfrey.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_04]: And then Traylon Burks on the one-year deal, Dami Brown is on the one-year deal of Van Jefferson is on the one-year deal.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_04]: So you're going to have to bring that up, Ruby.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_04]: said again.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, a lot of people that I got to prove it.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_04]: So it's like this is a particular position within this organization that has to be addressed and you hope that maybe you know what the limited draft capital you have that you hit on someone.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you get your, I'm not saying brown.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_04]: You get your cook in the cooler.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: What cook got drafted for fifth round.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you get your step on days
- 26:47[SPEAKER_04]: that you get somebody that can break through with these opportunities because they will be there.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like at the end of the day, they will be available to these guys to seize.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's just, you know, making sure you're doing the proper scouting and going in this year.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_04]: If it's the first round pick, you know, you got some options there.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_04]: If it's a third round pick, or if you move back up into the draft base on high falls, you feel me?
- 27:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like me personally, I'm seeing a lot of fancy cardinal tape and while I was making this
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: mentioned that happened to pop up by buoy banks, but the best wide receiver in this draft is Jordan Tyson by far is just he got injury issues.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's why a lot of people aren't viewing him that's highly, but he does everything.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe at number 7 you take a chance with that.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so it's going to be intriguing to see how that gets rectified and and the running back position.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: I think those are the two main positions.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_04]: that she'd give you pause for calls because they both are incomplete.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: I understand some mentioned cornerback, but with the pressure that they apply, that they plan on bringing, I don't think it's gonna be that big of a need, but right now, why receiver is probably, is probably number one on my list of need for this particular team, especially when you have a young officer coordinator who has never done this before.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_05]: First of all, I was going to say, I agree with aging 100% because and I'll start with the hypothetical situation.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_05]: Jordan Tyson is the best while receiving the draft in my opinion.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I've watched his guy at Arizona State.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, even before I even knew he was a draft prospect, this was a guy seen up there at Arizona State.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like, who is this guy?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_05]: When I bet on games, I bet on this game.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_05]: He's like, this guy's amazing.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_05]: He's like, I mean, he does things that, you know, you see.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_05]: that, you know, you can just tell when you're watching a star wide receiver that's going to translate to the NFL and Jordan Tyson was one of those guys for me and I know the bait right now and we're never really talking about it.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_05]: position in the seventh pick of the draft, but a cardinal tape, I'm sorry, he's not high for me.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: Like when I talk about top 10 prospects, cardinal tape does not have got an average draft in the top 10 personally.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think his teammate kind of just made a lot of things easier for him, his teammate who will be getting drafted probably more than likely top 5 next year's draft.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_05]: So cardinal tape's not really high on that list for me, but Jordan Tyson is, if you're
- 29:30[SPEAKER_05]: at Washington is kind of put themselves in with the free agency they've had.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I'm not saying they're going to go draft the Jordan Tyson at number seven with the number seven of pick, but you have those options or those potential options where maybe a trade now happens, maybe you only want to go down a couple of spots and then Jordan Tyson becomes that guy, but if you feel like everyone else is hip to the information that you're
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: draft them at number seven.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_05]: I do see him being that star wide receiver.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_05]: I see him being out of this class, out of this class.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think this is like a big town wide receiver draft class as far as like, you know, a lot of guys I think are going to be stars, but I feel like any one's going to be a star of his plays, Jordan Tyson, is that guy.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: And I also bet on tricks.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_05]: The guy's brother was also drafted first round in the NBA, Jalen and Tyson.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_05]: He's starting small four for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_05]: So that's an athletic family.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_05]: But getting back to the wild, a super room as it is now.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_05]: I mean,
- 30:30[SPEAKER_05]: As I mentioned earlier, you are waiting for Brandon and I, you most likely, I mean, that's the elephant in the room pretty much everyone seems to know this is a foregone conclusion that's going to happen as soon as San Francisco releases him so you're going to have Brandon and I, you could some point and I suppose that's going to add to this room, but as it stands right now, it's Terry McLean and a bunch of unknowns, so in the with AJ, I agree with the incomplete
- 30:58[SPEAKER_05]: with the unknowns.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's okay, you know, Diane me and Van, they got some big, that's a big opening thing.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_05]: Those, those are confirmed jigs, Diane me and Van, but those are also neck and firm roster spot players.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think their contracts is so cheap at this point that they're not guaranteed to make this roster.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think what is the army's efforts?
- 31:19[SPEAKER_05]: Who would they be million at this point?
- 31:20[SPEAKER_04]: I said, I love to three.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: So that's probably like,
- 31:23[SPEAKER_05]: one point by two when that's a potential that's potential can't buy.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_05]: So it's not like a potential or or and guarantee rock.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_05]: Even though I do think he'll make the roster, but that's that's nothing in terms of what you're talking about selling you kept wise.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_05]: But as far as like I'm talking about in
- 31:47[SPEAKER_05]: show, and then you don't like the AJ, but I do think he's a part of the defrotation.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_05]: A Traylon Berks, I think Traylon Berks is a part of the defrotation, but Traylon Berks may have still have some upside that we haven't seen yet.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_05]: Like we haven't really seen Traylon Berks with JJ and Daniels over a whole course of a season.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_05]: This is a former first from our paper, it's often about and he's show flashes last year.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_05]: then there's a Jalen Lane, now Jalen Lane doesn't excite me much as a receiver.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_05]: He excites me much more as a retirement, but however, he is dangerous with the ball in his hand.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_05]: And if he takes any kind of leap this offseason as a receiver, let's talk him up with the Robert Brennan, let's talk him up and prove in his hands.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_05]: That's a sneaky weapon that Washington can use right there, but that's still not enough to excite anyone right now on paper.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_05]: because it's net yet to be seen.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like we don't know if these guys can do it at this level yet.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_05]: So Washington still needs to add more and obviously I, you can still, like I said, they ain't guided, they're probably waiting on it.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_05]: I do think that they can still add more potentially in the draft as I mentioned.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you all the other card on card.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a question I've did just to this conversation.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we got it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I was going to give you a student.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, or Carter as if so can you so with all of that being said, can you risk not taking a receiver and drag your love of these there?
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can for you.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I was thinking about it as as I finished up my my statement and even while Drake was talking I did say why receiver should be number one priority, but you know, if love happens to be there at seven, you got to take love because he also is a threat within the receiving game and he's a he's an elite talent even though I feel like Jordan Tyson is the best why receiver in this class if I had to tear them as players Jordan love would be number one you feel your mind
- 33:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm, yeah, Jeremiah, fuck you.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_04]: You're a monster for a second, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a monster, you're a
- 34:13[SPEAKER_04]: Jaden Daniels career even longer with being able to hand off the ball to a looser back like that.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_04]: I can add so much to my offensive scheme by having those two in the backfield together versus a wire receiver in a Jordan Tyson.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_04]: So I would go and Jordan love it.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_04]: If those two are available at 7.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to First Montana, just so we can have the question.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was two different questions posed.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to First Montana and the donation man, appreciate that to the chat and to the channel.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: He said Jordan Tyson, or Jeremiah Love, AJC, he said in Love, reread, great.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_05]: The only way you don't take your amount of love, he falls the number seven.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_05]: is if you get a call that you can't refuse at that point.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean by the leaf hurts, so rumors, I see that'll make call up.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_05]: And now I understand that they're at the end of the first round.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_05]: But if you get a call that you can't refuse at that number seven pic, because you're my love of sitting there,
- 35:18[SPEAKER_05]: And for Washington, a team that has limited draft picks at this point, like, let's say you're going to see Adwanda standing there at the end of the draft, but let's say Seattle calls up, they will have to give up a whole lot to come up to number seven, because they're at the end of the draft, they want a Super Bowl, but if a Seattle calls you and say, we'll give you two first-round picks, and obviously they have to add other things, and maybe a second-round, and maybe a third-round.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_05]: You have to listen to that.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_05]: But for me, that's the only way that if a Jeremiah love this point falls to you that I'm passing on them.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_05]: If you is, if you get an offer that you can't refuse, especially for Washington said, who could use more draft picks in their position.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_05]: If you don't get that, and this was between Jeremiah love and a receiver, you take Jeremiah love.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_05]: Like I mean, because the receiver group even has the stands.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we're still
- 36:08[SPEAKER_05]: That's soon that our count on our brand and I, you can have position there receive a group of sustains a top quarterback by Jayden names on what we think
- 36:18[SPEAKER_05]: of Brandon and I, you could tell you the chlorine, you know, a D.O.E.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_05]: Brown in, you know, van Jefferson, J.L.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.A.L.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_05]: So yes, you take the Jeremiah love and that situation and again the only way you don't take Jeremiah love is if you can offer you can't refuse like an offer that you know They're coming up and give you kind of that my dick a for Ricky William's type of deal Well my dick a trade it will Trade it with the rascans at nineteen ninety now Rascans was sitting there the number seven pick wish they have right now my dick it came up and gave watch it to his whole draft
- 37:09[SPEAKER_05]: So that he can go up and draft Virginia Williams and watch it to end it up with champ Bailey and a bunch of other picks in the rest of his history So that's the only way I'm passing up a Jeremiah my love in this situation.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: James Brown, where would you do?
- 37:23[SPEAKER_05]: James Brown.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_05]: Is that all?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, more than James Brown.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you guys today.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: So my tann is to my tann is question if it's specifically between Tyson and I love I'm I'm taking love.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but to doce.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: who mentioned, where's the college still up there?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: Even if love is there, I don't think we take them.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think there's, I think when we always trap ourselves and, and this drive thing is assuming like, like, there's like two people on the board when, when our, when Washington is picking, uh,
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: or their favorite team is picking or is one person that's there that we should get.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's going to be several scenarios at seven is so early in the draft that there's going to be plenty of people available.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: So reduces point.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't agree completely what's
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: love may not be the guy if he's available depending on who else is available.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and we don't know who that's going to be.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so that's where I'm at.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, defensively, let's close out with a couple signs.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I love what they've been able to do with all three levels.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think when we got off
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Nick Cross signed as well the same days chase on did and then Charles or Minuhu a depth guy for the defensive line ends up signing as well.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think Crave on a chase on is outside line back at least it is outside line back up for Washington.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: So as opposed to the defensive end,
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, just building up the corner back, I meet Roberson, he's a guy who I mean solid and coverage to some extent, right, but like he was viewed as a decent blitzer with the lions Leo Chanel oblitzer and
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about outside of their their actual natural role for the position.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: He was a respected blitzier in Kansas City.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: Clay Vaughan chase on pass rush guy Nick Cross plays in the box.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: All these people who's playing on that first and second level.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: think it's real big for Washington.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: So when I say, when I say like, they improved the passwords, I'm not even just talking about the defensive line.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm talking about from all three levels of the field, they've improved their password.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: It just allows a new first time NFL defensive coordinator to have a toolbox with the players that he has to really build and be created from a scheme standpoint.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like what they're doing with with the way they're building a defense and building it from all three levels and also asked was the question because we had something about What's your boy name, Quam Martin.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Greg and Nick cross is kind of in the box, so, but it also based a question like, what are you going to do with that safety position altogether.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we'll see what happens with some of the current players on the roster we'll hear it's in.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_01]: And Juan, Jaitavis, Jaitavis, but yeah, I like what they did after we got off on Tuesday.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_04]: No, for sure, I think, adding Nick Crosson to the box also makes you think a little bit differently
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: They've had a great death, whether it be at the no-step position or the age in the three-four linebackers, they've got some past wrestlers, a doff-a-o-a, chase on, like these are talented players.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_04]: I just think that the questions up in the air is quamartin' it, and Mikey's answer to what are there particular roles going forward?
- 41:44[SPEAKER_04]: You know, this quam.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you get to play a little bit of corner, this Mikey play on the outside, does he move to free safety?
- 41:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's, it's, uh, joutavius, is he a backup?
- 41:55[SPEAKER_04]: What exactly happens there?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: So I think that's something that we all got to be mindful of as we continue with this, uh, off season.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think of a Nick Cross, especially that
- 42:14[SPEAKER_05]: by far, at least to me.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_05]: Now, the question is because we know he's a good strong set or at least he's good in a box, but what do you do with that deep safety spot, that free safety spot, and I feel like I knit cross, he's versatile.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to just pin him and say he's only good in a box, but what we know is that he is good in a box, because that's what it helps play to me.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_05]: And that's where he had a lot of success at, but coming on America, when this was
- 42:43[SPEAKER_05]: are really good athletic prospect at the safety position.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_05]: So you kind of wonder for Nick Cross if you get, what is a plan for him?
- 42:51[SPEAKER_05]: Because if the plan is for him to play in the bus, I think Washington Army had that, you have Will Harris.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_05]: So we had guys that could play in the bus.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_05]: Jeremy Reeves, he's a very versatile, he can play anywhere amongst that, you know,
- 43:07[SPEAKER_05]: And AJ, I know you weren't a fan of him outside of special teams.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_05]: It was the best safety on Washington's roster last season, and that's a low bar.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_05]: There's a low bar because the safety position wasn't that well.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_05]: Will Harris was hurt for a lot of the season.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_05]: Qualm Martin was a good at all.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_05]: Jeremy Reeves was the most consistent and best safety of last season.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_05]: So he's a good, damn piece.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_05]: He's a good rotation, he's a piece.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: But again, you have guys that could play in that box area.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_05]: My question is, who plays a deep, deep, safety spot?
- 43:38[SPEAKER_05]: Who is that guy?
- 43:39[SPEAKER_05]: Who's the free safety?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_05]: Because what we saw from Quah Martin last year, that wasn't it.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_05]: Like, while Martin can not be in my opinion, you're allowed to want to be your deep safety in your deepest.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_05]: While Martin got bitched, well, we're calling John Savius, right?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_05]: John Savius Martin got bitch last year towards the end of the season.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, it was the elephant in the room for us all season.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_05]: We talked about him.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_05]: What is he going to make that impact?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_05]: Why are they talking about him?
- 44:07[SPEAKER_04]: No, you were all talking about him.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_05]: I did.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought he was going to have a book because Dan, Dan claimed he had a job thinking he was going to have a book.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_05]: I believe Dan Quinn, Dan, who I was watching is Martin.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_05]: He's been having a big season because he was talking to him up.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_05]: So it was voluntary, AJ.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_05]: This wasn't a thing where they were specifically calling him out.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_05]: And saying, is this guy going to be good?
- 44:33[SPEAKER_05]: Dan Quinn was voluntarily mentioned in his name as someone I expect to take a big leap.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: So when you say that as a coach, I mean, I'm not saying he's going to be a star or anything, but I believe that he's going to have a pretty damn good season.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_05]: But by the point to the Cowboys game, that last Cowboys game of the season, he's going to bench, Dan Quinn benched him and Dan closed the defensive court and they did slash a coach at that point.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_05]: So to me, that doesn't inspire confidence for me that you have your free safety on a roster unless you believe that Nick Cross is going to play that role.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, again, I do
- 45:08[SPEAKER_05]: out player and I like the side and I really love the side, but away.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_05]: But it's one safety road is going to be vacant.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_05]: It's either going to be the box safety road or free safety.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_05]: At this point in time, I'm going to assume it's going to be the free safety road that's going to be vacant because we have to assume that Nick Cross is going to play the position that he's been successful in.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_05]: in NFL so far to this point.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_05]: So that's the one thing I'm worried about at this point is what is going on to save?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_05]: I know AJ, you like thought of Mike Sanderson still playing in that safety spot.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_05]: You know, but we haven't seen it.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if that's the plan for them.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Mike Sanderson still's role is still up in the air and you just had to meet Rob as it got too small point of fact when this scene at this point,
- 45:51[SPEAKER_05]: are you going to start to small cornerbacks like what's the role?
- 45:54[SPEAKER_05]: What's the plan?
- 45:55[SPEAKER_05]: So we do still have to flush the marks even though I like what's going on as far as the free agency side is.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_05]: But Nick Cross solidifies the one safety spot.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_05]: Now what happens at the other safety spot?
- 46:07[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever that is, I think it's going to be very interesting how they figure that out because you can't have a 6-2 corner on one side and then
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think there's one more thing that they need to, like, not stray away from.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: They did recite Chris Paul, which is a good deal for Washington and both sides, but figure out your fucking guard and center spots.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming Chris Paul's going to end up starting on that guard or just, like, have a reset at competition between him and Brandon Coleman, who knows?
- 46:49[SPEAKER_04]: So can Coleman play center?
- 46:51[SPEAKER_04]: I've been waiting a long way like I've never seen him.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_05]: No indication that he can.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's played all five, he said he said that.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: I got it out of his mouth, he said that.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: Come out of TCU.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: So they haven't seen anything.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: That'd be an interesting as project.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: But, well, a project that we don't need to see, maybe to figure out what the food they're going to do with center.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because you have a few days in with no real response or reaction or action to cut in time to be honest.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: So that's something we talked about.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: We see every being one of the positions.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was going to mention is, they need to figure out what they're going to do with center.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's go ahead and wrap this one up.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: We are back on Tuesday.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope you all stay safe, man.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: Enjoy your weekend, enjoy the rest of the tournament games, or conference tournaments.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: going on this weekend today tonight tomorrow Sunday, et cetera, like I said, we'll be out on Tuesday, hopefully we'll be with a guest.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: Until next time, I'll take these with you five years.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: This is jumping down.
