- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: You feel me, like, before we get into the real spill of why people even tried to dive, but they was out there and Madrid, like, it was even some Americans that go to school out there, like university.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: The first night, this scared me out there, because it was like, after we went from a hooking lounge, we went to a club.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: and someone in the group brought like some girls to the table, but whatever.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: And for some reason, something my mom was like, yo, something right with these chicks.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: You film me like they're a little, they're a little green.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I asked, show to where you're from.

- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, PA.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm like, oh, nah, yeah, something right here.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, nah, because they weren't out there for the game.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: They said that they were out there because their home girl lives out there now.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, how old are you?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: They're like 18.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: I said, get the fuck away from this table, though.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: like mind you mind you we got liquor we got liquor at the table we just ordered bottles all that shit but out there like you could drink at 18 but I still wasn't comfortable with that shit like yeah and then day like
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: And on top of that, you American, about to go back home and you a test nigga's name to that shit hell, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 6:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was like, I can see it, but I can see it 21 year old.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_03]: I can spot that.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, oh, yeah, I could definitely spot that here in the states.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes when you, I'm in a bowel traveling, it's hard to tell.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, I don't even, when I even got a question it, I don't even approach.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think about it that way.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: But I will say like the last night after the game, went to this party to call church on Sunday, boy,
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's so funny how, like, the universe.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, how the universe just works.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just cool people that I've met and I knew we're going on the trip.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: They was there, but I met them before I went to church on Sunday and they happened to be with someone who plays in the league in the NBA, but he was hurt.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: And he ended up coming out to Madrid.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: like me and do just connected man, we was on, we was on two man's, but I didn't do anything.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like we was just like playing the bases in the club, that joint, it had so many chicks in there.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, hopefully Commander's running back and playing Madrid again, I'm there.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: Great, he said he didn't do it on the two man's.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: I ain't do nothing like when I say two man's like we just play on NBA jam Like we just we just politics with the shoulders, but Wayne Wayne.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't on it You feel me.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: I ain't still to do good.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was it was cool But no, I even do the what's that bro.

- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm not outside here yet.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's way too cold, bro.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: I, I've been managing with the cold weather.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: I hate it.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's been, it's literally like one of the, I will never forget this, this three week span, bro.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_03]: I've never, I've never, ever in my life.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be 80 years old talking about this three week span, bro.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's been cold, it's shit, bro.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_03]: Like, and on top of that, I think I really, I really won't forget it because of, I got to get up in the morning, either the go to work or like, I had to take shorty out.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: I never forget the cold not even the worst part is just the fact that none of this fucking ice will go anywhere Like they're me a fall in walking to my car every day Well, I've been doing it from the car every day.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just finally got my recycling done because that shit was I stout
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: I finally did so I finally got that done so I can get rid of some stuff in the house But this has been the worst part like I said the code it's whatever is one or I expected to be code But the fact that it's not going anywhere and then you got to drive the work and DC like in the road Just a little messed up and you got one single lane and traffic is horrible dog like now It's been the worst part man, right now.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: I say on Saturday, but it was negative nine with the ones you over
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: Brad, I seen somebody try to die somewhere in traffic and end up on the top of ice on the side of the street.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it actually shouldn't even be a side of the street.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's just really a regular sidewalk.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_02]: But the way that they plow the street is now turning to like a obstacle course of ice.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, Brad, no, I don't know when this, I don't know when it's going to melt.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I don't know if that means we turned the corner like I know it's supposed to hit the 50s this week, but Bruh, it is it's been horrible like I watched the Super Bowl in the creative by myself though Like I ain't even think about going nowhere like because I was just like I stepped out for a little bit I was like Brad's way too cold like I'm not rocking with it
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, I'm saying, people all around my IG and the club.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_03]: It was, bro, I'm like, I'm like, watch parties.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying, show these with crop tops on and the club, the hoop and the gang's throwing them like a man.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, bro, you, you have to have no life to be outside.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: As some of the women at my favorite ship club says, a whole never gets cold.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's where I love about host.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: That's where I love about host.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's where they told you about themselves.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I mean, she don't care.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: You ever see her?
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: sometimes.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: Why she outside?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: Because she ain't going to get.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: She's outside, Brad.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_03]: It's like three in a home.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's a state of mind, Brad.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, hey, man won't get cold.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: Once I heard her say that, this was like a decade ago.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: Once I heard her say that, Brad, I was like, you know what?
- 10:58[SPEAKER_03]: I see.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_03]: You see, I'm like, I'm not surprised.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_03]: That part, I'm not surprised.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just surprised.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yo, it's negative five out of here.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: Y'all like y'all just in the clue.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: Brad, have any of y'all ever been to
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: am a lot.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, back in the day, back in the day, back in the day.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so back in the day, did y'all ever seen like this like fat white joint in there before?
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like when I say back in the day, maybe like eight to 10 years ago.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: I was probably about 15 years ago, so it's been a minute since I don't want to be here.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I went to that joint one time, like, eight to ten years ago.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: I kicked out me, me, me in this full-knows poll.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_02]: We went there and we decided to throw money at the chicks, because that's all that we know, right?
- 11:52[SPEAKER_02]: They got mad at us and they wanted us to fold the money and give it to them in their hand.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_02]: But there was this like,
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: fat white joint that I'll never forget my life because I don't think I've ever seen a fat white joint like that in my life.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_03]: Huh?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: But it's mostly like, you can't, you can't.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's like real political in their life.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: It definitely be like executives and people with part of Congress and senators all that in there.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: But it looked like she was not supposed to be there because like her body she was built.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: like a black woman.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it was natural.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: It was natural.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like she was built in a good way.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: In a good way.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: Why does he get?
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, not sloppy.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why randomly this weekend.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: She popped up on my Instagram feed.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: I know I follow her from back in the day.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: And this joint don't only phase now, I'm like, oh my god, I was like, right, and you should send their a message.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: See what she wants.

- 13:00[SPEAKER_03]: I said her.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_02]: I said her no message.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_03]: I don't like the word.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but yeah, for sure.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: Shout out to her.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_03]: Send that to the group.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm sending to the group chat.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: I ain't seeing getting no free promo.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, hose never get cold, never get cold and they are very resourceful, you know, that only thing is where you grow.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: made it, probably made a couple of people, thousands of years, six degrees.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's not new, it is.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_03]: Um, A. Bra, good conversation, pre-shared, J. T. Z. said, white strip clothes, yeah, yeah, I've actually, I've only been the one and I, I don't like to, it was a mistake.

- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they opened up a new strip club a couple years ago called Assets Oh We was one of their, and they're up there, and they're ruthless And we're like the roof Chris is like going up towards us Oh, you still don't have liquor on my shoes, bro Yeah No, I ain't never been going home in a rap Love to do Okay, so
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: Last quick little story.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: I ended up of fucking with this chick that I met.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: She was cool whatever and then one day she was just like, hey babe, come see me at work.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know where she worked.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: I just thought it was like a bar, regular bar.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: So sort of sent me an address.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: I go up there.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_03]: She didn't see it at all.

- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: Why is this, why was that drum like a like a strip club being Grand Theft Auto, Brad?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm talking about the worst joints I've ever seen in my life, dancing in that joint.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they had to be like faking, selling drugs, something out of that joint.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way, there's no way they'd had that premium location in this terrible strip club, though.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you ever been to a straight.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's literally like right on the corner before you get to like,

- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: They tell me like a strip club.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, it's like a video, huh?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, look, we, he know a couple of families.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_03]: Boy, no information information sharing.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: Boy, no, every low count.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, every single low count.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_03]: If you get what I'm saying.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: All right, all right, come on.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: We can talk, we can talk, we are, we are, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're
- 17:39[SPEAKER_03]: I think you learned a lot from Darante and like his approach.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_03]: Also kind of mirrored a little bit of with John Combs say, you know, we spoke them two weeks ago.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_03]: So I like, I can't remember everything that Combs say, but just some pop ups, some flashbacks pop up in my head of comments that he mentioned.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna date with Dave without obviously spoken.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of it converts the round how he and Jay don't want to be working, moving forward.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_03]: And then Quince did his kind of high level political nature thing.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't really get too deep at anything.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_03]: I do think one thing from Dan, he did acknowledge the rest taking from the coronator's perspective.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_03]: Two guys that never did it before and given them a chance, he knows that it's a big deal, but also like somebody has to get there.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_03]: They have to get there, start at some point.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: And see what y'all think, let's kind of start with the defensive side of the bow, let's start with the Rante Jones and where you all with your first impressions on the new defensive coordinator.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I think, um,
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: is great that we actually know who's going to be running the office and defensive side of the ball and also who got promoted.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Some might have got slight of a demotion, some that won't be returning.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, I like everything about the the Ronsejo's higher.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think even Dan Quinn saying how they got into these certain situations.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: I like that transparency.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: validates what I already had been told that essentially the Rossi Jones didn't become like a main focus for Washington until they had the interview with Brian Flores.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that's when you know he really became on a radar.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: I honestly believe if Seattle Seahawks didn't make it to the Super Bowl, they probably would have never even got to it around say Jones and this interview process.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like Carl Scott was that person that they were going to acquire as the DC, um, when Brian Flores was out.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you even look at the the mixture of candidates, like Jonathan
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to remember who else those guys kind of fall into the same thought process of how like Dan Quinn approaches defenses.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_02]: The only the only two different guys were Brian Flores, well three, Brian Flores Carl Scott and now the winner of the
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: of the job opening to Ron Say Jones.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: Those were the only guys that were different than what Dan Quinn is familiar and what he's accustomed to running.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I definitely feel confident in that.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: I know what the defense is going to look like.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's more so about the person now.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: How he gets the best out of those players.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: He raved about Frankie Louvou.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: He talked about certain guys.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: I love the fact that he said he was providing players
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, and provide my IP at the IP.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: IP, you know, let them know the pros and the cons and things he would like for them to work on.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think that is vital and great information for your coach to be able to provide you as you prepare to get yourself ready for the 2021 season.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_02]: He also test on, you know, taking advantage of guys, positives and minimizing, putting them in opportunities of which show their weaknesses.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad that this is all done.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, some guys are no longer a part of this process.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like a Sheree Floyd, Ryan Care again, and so on, but it seems those Ken Norton is still in to make them.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: Why did I just go blank?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: What's the D-line coach?
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they brought it.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: I know they brought it here.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: Henderson from USC, but also they kept their old tap in the mix.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: gave him a different position title.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_02]: They moved West Walker from the defense side back to offensive side of the ball.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: William Gay got his promotion.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: So it's still a solid group.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: Seems like everything is finalized there.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: And all like Utah's done when we had on John Con, he gave some of those nuggets.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: We just did it.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's going to be confirmed, you know, a couple hours later.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like two hours later, we found out that, you know, care again and some of these guys weren't going to be a part of the mix anymore.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: And now these guys we still be in the fold and get elevated and there could be some additional changes on that front.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I mean, like I said, it's a great presser for them.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it gets to come back home.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: He got to meet with the media and just pretty much told his story, you know, from from being.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: You know, with an HBCU, Morgan State, and being all these different levels of football and even being homeless at one point, just trying to get his dream accomplished, he told a great story on those things.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just wishing the best of them, and I hope that Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, truly let him run his show, but also bring in the assets to make it a productive defense overall.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to win a press conference because I didn't see so many of these open and press conferences and everyone says I was oppressive in an open and press conference, but it's not until you see how they go out there operate, you know, especially in a situation where you are the main guy, you're the guy calling the place, that's when you get to really see what a person is.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I will say from this press conference, one of my favorite things was he didn't oversell or he didn't oversell or over promise anything here.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: and Scott Abraham actually tried to bait him into one of those kind of tagline type of situations.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted them, him to give him one of those kind of quotables that fans are going to run with and go wrong.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, one of those things where you want to tail fans, but they want to hear, and he didn't do that, but he didn't take the bait.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: He just said, when you look at my type of defense, you're going to see joy, you're going to see players out there playing with a passion.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't go out there and tell you, oh, we're going to run out there, we're going to be violent, we're going to hit hard, we're going to stop everybody, we're going to be the best deepest.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't did it.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: And to me, that just says that's a goddess, very self-aware.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's aware of what he puts out there into the world.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's also aware that this is not going to be an easy task.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's coming in here to a deepest that's struggle.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: last year.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: By this defense was one of the bottom five defenses in the last two years actually when you talk about when you look at this talent production how they how they perform.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't want to come in here or oversell it.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to take this defense.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to turn him into this that's that in the third.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's about the word and one of the things that I like that he kind of reached in his breast conferences is about teaching.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's big on teaching.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: He said
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: finding out what kind of how to reach certain players like how players learn like even what you all mentioned, what is the IEPs when he's done on players.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: of dude who has quit his homework and he's thorough and what he does but the main thing for him is I want to teach and I want these guys to learn like no matter how old these dudes are well yeah I'm teaching grown men these guys are professionals at their level but as their skill of teaching elements of this so I can see why he's been impressed by the interview especially being in the systems he's been in coach with the coaches he's coach with so I mean from that standpoint
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: point.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was impressed.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was impressed how prepare he was and how he seemed to kind of have a vision for this roster.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: Even when they kind of asked him the name of some of the players that he would, you know, that he could see.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was surprised a little better.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be honest that he clawed Martin was not at a first name that he brought up.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: But he said they scouted him in Minnesota.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: They said, you know, they was trying to figure out if he was a nickel, if he was a corner or if he was a safety in Minnesota, I won't want when they scouted him.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Sandra, do you think, do you think, do you think that's
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: him bringing a quantum martin and even they're like draft profile of him like how you get into I don't know if that's a good thing it was just the fact that when they asked them this specific question was you know what you thought they were supposed to play us yeah in the versatility because he named Mike Sanford still he named Jordan McGee and he brought a quantum martin
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't know if people's kind of bringing a claw Martin in the ass, because this is a guy we're gonna have before, like we see him as a core player.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, he mentioned him in my name.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, maybe he does, he a visual for claw Martin.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: But if you hope, I mean, with him that he has a vision that maybe you didn't see real for claw Martin, like claw Martin's playing that deep safety.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's not the role for him.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he sees something different from him.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: But then again, to your point, AJ, he could be saying this as
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know when you could split this type of guy, he doesn't have a particular position, but he was also mentioned in that he's in to versatility.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like versatility was one of his biggest strips.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: He said, if players have versatility, these are guys I can use.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like they asked them specifically about him asking like Adam Peters by what type of players but he like their bringin' to his defense.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: And versatility was one of those first ones.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: But of course he brought up speed.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: physical you know at that but he seems to be really big on guys that could do multiple things and I like how he talked about Guys adapted, you know He said I want players to have adaptability like maybe these players see a certain role for themselves But this is the role I see for the player not the
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: get that across to these players, can they see these roles and these visions that you have for.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be kind of interesting to see how he kind of brings that into the system, you know, because obviously, you know, I was wondering how fans was going to kind of take some of the things because he seemed to like some of the players, but according to our fanbase here, we don't have any talent on that side of the ball, but I think he sees something there.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: that he's going to have to work with.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: And not only that, you're going to have to work with some of these guys.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: You're not tearing it over 11 new starters on Diva.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: Some of these guys are going to stay.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have some starters here.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to obviously add to that talent.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: But the key thing for Dorante is, where does he put these guys?
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: Can he put them in a better position to succeed in the last culture regime than with these players?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: So that's going to be one of his biggest tasks.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I like that he brought up that I teach, you know, I develop and that's
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: an important thing and a lot of fans just talk about talent, talent, sure, everyone's telling it, but can you get something out of that talent?
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: So let me interesting with the ones I can do for me, I think, he speaks really well.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_03]: when you mentioned like the talent aspect, I think it's important because, you know, one of the things that I was looking for in the coordinator defensively is like somebody who understands how to make something work, how to elevate the ceiling of the players that you have.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: Not necessarily specific to Washington, all of their because some people may move around like they may make some changes, some people may get cut traded release or however you phrase it or or demoted, but what I'm saying generally speaking from the coordinator perspective.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody who can elevate the ceiling of a, I mean, the floor of a player so that they can be functional in that defense.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: Right, and for the wrong say a couple things that relates to me in that conversation because you all said a lot that I agree with, right, like first of all, if you can't and I feel like this way with any pressure, you can't really The only thing that's notable is if I super notable is if you bomb the pressure, right, like that's that's big
- 30:10[SPEAKER_03]: wanted to be loud and like command the room with an aggressive tone or like anything of that nature like he spoke, he spoke his way under control, but also got his points across, right?
- 30:26[SPEAKER_03]: And to add to what I'm saying, he mentioned like to be able to utilize like people's versatility, when you mentioned your player's crime, I think he mentioned wheel heres as well,
- 30:39[SPEAKER_03]: according to other names, you have to figure out like how they learn, right?
- 30:45[SPEAKER_03]: And I think from the teacher aspect, it's important because like there's angles of how somebody talks or how a player or a coach talks that we should emphasize, right?
- 31:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think, I
- 31:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not comparing him directly to the last coordinator, but you don't run into many coordinators, there's coordinators out there that, or coaches out there that does this, but you don't run into many who understands the development aspect.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_03]: You may have your scheme and know how to run your scheme but the developmental aspect and emphasizing that and your intro pressure, it's something that's really important, right?
- 31:24[SPEAKER_03]: So how does Daront say connect with some of the players that has been struggling lately, right?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: Because you got workies in there, or second year players, excuse me, going into their 30 year, you're gonna have to find a way to make it work for at least a year.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_03]: So what does that look like for Washington?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: And what does that look like for Daront say?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_03]: That's one of his biggest tasks right now.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: He knows how to build relationships.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of his pedigree, right?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_03]: But I think, from a diabetes standpoint, you're going to have to, like, I think that's kind of the big thing for him and also for his players, building that trust, having these relationships that one, we have this common ground where like, from a person to person, I feel you.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_03]: So now, from a coach to player standpoint,
- 32:18[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I can roll in with you.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_03]: And I trust your game plan, I trust what you're saying.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm buying in to how you feel like I should be utilized.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_03]: Those IEPs are individual educational profiles, I think, or education profiles, oh, education program.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_03]: And he's developed one for each defensive player already on how they can improve.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_03]: So that puts the ball in the player's court.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_03]: Do they accept this information or do they like my hand?
- 32:52[SPEAKER_03]: I could do this.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like just from an ego standpoint, like it puts the ball in their court to really like humble themselves and up to understand what they're saying and trust them.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, time will tell like what that looks like.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, for me, this understanding where we are, with Doronte and his initial pressure, his ability to communicate and get his points across from that aspect.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's good, it's a good start.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_03]: But it also, at least let's us know the phase that he's in as he becomes like as he gets his speed on the M as the first year coordinator.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's in his developmental phase with his players, building those relationships.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_03]: But he's also done some of the groundwork already since he's been hired.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_03]: Those IAPs, if you're talking about for each player and you got to say, you got to study filling for that.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_03]: He knows he knows a good portion of his defense and his players already.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_03]: So
- 33:49[SPEAKER_03]: I wonder what this this all season if we had to see what looked like as we start to maneuver and get some pieces for deronté.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, well, you know, that's going to say you know what was interesting.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: A name didn't bring up on defense.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of a name we've been kind of pondering what happens with him is deront bane.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear mentioned Darron Payne's name when he was mentioned in Jordan McGee, Javoc, Kim Law, you know, you mentioned Sanberstil Harris, and Claw Martin, and it's kind of interesting because you would think of, you know, Darron Payne is going to be a part of this defense going forward.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: He would be one of the better players on a defense.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's not a hard bar, but he would be one of the better players on a defense.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: So you would think that thing, I mean, it could have just been oversight, but it just to me it was a little interesting that Darron's name did
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think the reason why I didn't come up is because he's proven where he came to in this league.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Dorontek went as deep as Mitch and Tyler, Owen's and came with John, you know?
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just to go back to what Maul said, like, he went and watched the film.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he went back to his notes on even these guys in the draft.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, their draft profile.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, it's extremely frustrating having seen Devin Weatherspoon and how he played Super Bowl Sunday and then realized that he played in the same unit with a quantum martin, it's like damn, like football IQ is nowhere remotely close to one another or a playstyle, but yeah, I mean, I just think that at the end of the day, Adam Peters has to also do his end of the bargain
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I mean, he can know what he wants to do all that all damn day, but if they don't have a piece of this, I mean, he got some pieces to work with from, uh, from an attribute standpoint physical, uh, like traits, like Tyler Owen's has traits, came with Ronald has traits, you know, but you still got some other people that you want to bring it to the fold as we all have, uh, discussed probably, you know, some harvests list,
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: of guys to re-sign or bring in free agency.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_02]: They got a lot of things that they need to do to improve this defense, but, you know, hopefully this is not a one-and-and-done opportunity for Duante.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: They can actually fall through on their plans and open up that checkbook.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_03]: Last thing for me, I think is important that BQ emphasized
- 36:27[SPEAKER_03]: I want to make sure that I say it, right, I think he's given the wrong say basically the keys to the defense in a sense, like it's his system, right?
- 36:38[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's a big deal because, you know, it is a question about like what Dan Quinn would do, especially if it's not somebody under his tree, like, is he going to metal?
- 36:49[SPEAKER_03]: Is he going to, like, what is he going to do exactly, but I do think it's it's good
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: that it is a system.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, you're not going to bring them over here.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: A first time defense coordinator who clearly does not come from under your tree and not let them run his own thing, right?
- 37:07[SPEAKER_03]: So that's a big deal.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_03]: And he mentioned he's going to be in a multiple scheme.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to be a 3443, like base, it is what it is, right?
- 37:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's what it is in quotations.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: That's not what he said.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_03]: This is me, like paraphrasing.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_03]: But like even from the people that have come to learn, we talk about aggression all the time.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think you'll see a aggression.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't know what it'll look like.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_03]: And I like the dichotomy or the distinction that he made between Zemmer and Flores.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_03]: Like they blitz on or they are aggressive on in two different situations.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_03]: And Brian Flores is an off-ball aggressor.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like, stars are like, people just standing up on the things of that nature.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_03]: So like, there are different ways in how they attack.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_03]: And it's going to be interesting to see like how Dorante mixes all of the elements that he's come to learn.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_03]: and inform it to his own.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_03]: So that's another big deal.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead and bring your thing, bro.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, damn, I'm sure Dan Quiz won't share a knowledge, but it's good to know that he's staying out the way.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_03]: And let DeRontay run his own ship, especially in a big year for both of them, honestly, DeRontay, you're first to bring everything.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: And what I was going to add to that real quickly is that with Dan Quinn truly in a CEO mode, because I do believe in Joe Whit was here.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was a bit collaboration effort, obviously, but Dan Quinn in on it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is his defense that Joe Whit's running.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: But now when you say, you're going to let it the Rante Jones go out there and run his own thing and do his own thing.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: Dan Quinn's truly a CEO out there on the football field and with that said, Dan Quinn has to be damn near perfect in my opinion.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: We're evaluating him as a head coach at this point outside of what he's done person.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: It'll advise who he's hired for the coaches to have.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_01]: He has to be damn near perfect when it comes to in-game situations when we talk about those
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: this on the head coach.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about four down decisions.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: Clock management.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: We can't see any trip ups with that because at this point you have coordinators that are pretty much doing their own thing.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're letting them go out there and do their thing cool.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: But at this point, Dan Quinn, I don't want to see any clock mishaps.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see you be great with time outs.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see you be great with the personnel management during games.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see you.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, even if you're CEO, you may not have a say some of game planning, but you could say, hey, coach, I think we need to do this here.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we need to defend or run a heater or maybe we need to run the ball here on office, what's the level of it?
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to be that CEO coach, we're kind of looking for close to perfection in some of those items that I just listen.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, Dan Quinn, that's the stuff I'm going to be looking at with him going forward.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: David, I'll be on more than David.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_02]: I was just going to say one last thing on Dan Quinn as I think John Khan opened up his question portion to Dan Quinn was like, hey, you guys all said that you wanted to have like season season guy at the defensive
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: coordinator position, when change and I guess he said, you know, he's always open up to change and listening and just like being in these interviews with these guys, he learned so much more and you know, it kind of opened up his eyes to seeing things a little bit differently from a defense standpoint because it's like the way that maybe he used to focus his defense to be five years ago is no longer the same as what it is in 2026.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: you know, things keep changing.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: So I thought that was commendable for having that type of awareness about himself and realizing that, hey, maybe the scheme that I was running was highly successful at a point in time, but you know, you can't just sit back and bend and don't break.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: any more defensively, you kind of got to dictate things as we see in the Super Bowl champion in Seattle Seahawks.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: They dictated things to whoever was their opponent throughout the playoffs in the Super Bowl.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's why they ended up winning the chip.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: You've known me, they dictated how everything was going to go for New England.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: New England knew that going into the game.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: So not like they even learned during the game.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: New England plays saves the whole time because
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like they know what they was gonna get or what situation Drake made is gonna get put in.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how you want your defense to be in today's football.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like you want teams to be frightened of where these pressures and simulated things are coming from.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: David Bial, where we at with him.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: uh I gave y'all the floor once again since you was going to age that go it uh Jerry let's see where you're thinking about with um David and his pressure and what is my song my band shout out to the chat as always and that like button hit the subscribe button let me know what you're all thinking about chat I mean excuse me David Blow, uh I'll read some of your comments off as well
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was kind of hard to get a good read on.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: Blau, you know, this has been the guy who, you know, even when we talked about the higher after the Rotate Jones and talked about David Blau.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: He was the biggest miss to be obviously because he so close to being removed from actually planning NFL and he hasn't been coaching but for so long with two years or so now and I feel like we still don't know much about David Blow.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: I say that kind of almost in a good way to sense out this press conference because he looked like a gutted, he's well prepared from lots of from it but he's also in a sense he's looking
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's very serious.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's a very serious dude like he doesn't honestly I was wondering when he was gonna smile I was like this dude doesn't smile He doesn't laugh like he just kind of very just you know straightforward, but he had an answer for everything He seems like he has a plan
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I do think the rapport with Jaden that he's built for the last two years is a good thing.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of talked about that.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and Dan Quinn kind of alluded to when he was talking there earlier that they're going to see Jaden under Senator Moore and they will blow kind of win.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: more into, you know, more into that and why that would be beneficial to Jaden.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: And that interesting, because obviously David Blow has come from a lot of different systems.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: He was under Kevin O'Connell.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: He was with Ben Johnson and Ben Johnson, at least from this past year, was one of the best I've seen that kind of getting Caleb in those understander situations when you get those bootlegs and those robots with Caleb can kind of be dangerous and he can be effective.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: and you want to see, you know, the S and treating the C or no of jating can kind of, you know, do that same system or he can be affected with that same kind of system being under center.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's put a lot of fans come and ask for and this is kind of one of those things that they kind of get answered in this press conference.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: that they will be kind of going to a more under-center for jaded and what that means and you know David Blow talked about the challenges for jaded and you know as far as the differences from being under-center in a gap who's pretty much run pistol with shotgun from most of his career you know it's a difference between the drops that you take when you start
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: don't hear.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: So that's one of those things they're going to have to get up to speed.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: But again, it's a good thing that they are bringing kind of have that rapport.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, you want to see when David Blout kind of brings to this team, but it's still going to be a while before we as fans learned when David Blout does, obviously, because he's been through so many systems.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: He talked about Cliff King's very, how in doubt you were that experience was for him these last two years at picking Cliffs Brain.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: But he has so many other brains that he could pick from.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, David Blout has
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think he made a comment in his press conference.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: He said, we're going to do the key things is we're going to do a lot of the same things differently.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: And we want to make sure you see these things differently.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to do something on those lines.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's essentially like the same place.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_03]: They're just dressed up differently.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, just dressed up differently.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously, you're not going to be running a thousand plays per game per say, but you're going to go out there.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to dress certain things up differently.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: you want to be able to write audibles, you want to be able to write
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: and just trick the deepest.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: So it's interesting to see how he comes up but that especially with his mind and his young dude.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: So he's, you know, he's pretty, I'm sure he's eager to prove himself out there.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the other takeaway that I had from him that was pretty interesting was, he kind of looked at Bill as a start and run it back.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, when I asked him about personnel, and what he thought about the run it back room, he said, yeah, Bill is interesting, he showed flashes and it's, we're excited to see what he is,
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: start running back.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: But he also did mention that they're going to probably make acquisitions at the front of pet positions.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that must mean that they are looking at running back as a key thing that they need to, you know, kind of acquire the policies of which I agree with, like I do hope that, you know, I like Bill, I like the flashes that Bill show, but I do think you need to add to that.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: position room and Bill will be a great combo back with someone else, you know, it's a good free agent class.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, I know a lot of fans like it did Jeremiah love in the draft, so who knows where you go with that?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: But it was interesting to me that he thought of Bill as a potential start and run it back for what he showed him.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, we'll learn more, but I still think you don't know as much about David Glow, you won't know as much as he you start to see him get out there and actually start calling the police.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: One thing that he does have on his belt is being in front of the media.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: When you're a quarterback from a collegist standpoint, and also when you do get those opportunities as a backup quarterback to start games, you already are PR trained in a sense.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_02]: So he didn't really tip his hat on too much information within that presser, but there were some key notables like you just touched on Drake.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: The only running back in the wrong under contract is Bill.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, we definitely need to, he also mentioned there probably will be some acquisitions in that room as well.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: That can mean a multitude of things from free agency to the drive, whatever the case is.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, he really touched on his belief system in the principles of football.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_02]: He says a lot revolves in playing under center.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: under Clif King's Berry, much, but it seems as though when Jaden got hurt, they also used some in that free time that they had with Jaden to work on the under center things.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: He mentioned that as well in his presser, so Jaden was already retooling that aspect of his game during the 2025 season when he was out.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, there's going to be some nuances there.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, because Jayden kind of live a lot out of shot gun, even at LSU, I just hope that, you know, they allow him to just be challenged.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's my key thing with Jayden.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think he has all the intangibles of being a great quarterback in his league.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the greats ever he just needed to be challenged more and he just weren't going to get that out of the cliff scheme.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, there wasn't a lot to take from the blouse process, but over the week last week with radio row, we did get to hear from Jayden Daniels his.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_02]: his mouth in regards of David Blow getting the job and how excited he is for him, the conversations and you know the time that they've spent together in the last two years as he's kind of led that quarterback room overall, even Jaden given his personal take when being questioned
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: this all season moves pretty fast you know franchise tag deadline is next week before you know it'll be calm bond then it'll be legal tampering and it'll be a free agency period so we'll learn a lot more in those signs
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: for both sides of the ball, but especially offensively at, you know, online, tight-end, I'm seeing it here.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: I might have missed a part about Ben Senate.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we know what the fuck it is, but Ben Senate.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why I keep wasting your time on that.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: And he doesn't know.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he better get familiar.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: They need two tight-ends.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_02]: And in this all season, they need to acquire two tight-ends.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_03]: They said man, I don't think they gave any three of them a chance to be vertical throw it up.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't even respond back, bro I think I think No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 50:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so it's just like that.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's just where I'm at with it.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, solid, solid pressure.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: We all got to understand it with the office is going to look like that that's just is what it is We just now need to see the players that he's going to be able to utilize within that scheme and I'm excited to see Jayden Under certain more I'm excited to see more play action I'm just excited to see a different office and Jayden Daniels being the the main person You know calling shots
- 51:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm surprised, Hogshaven didn't have this quote in here.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I should just put it up from the scans website, but I think it's good that he also shared light on Jayden's role and like picking the offensive coordinator.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I phrased that way because to say like he didn't have a role and picking the offensive coordinator, it wasn't like on him.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's also good because
- 51:41[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I ever wish way it truly unfolded by on close doors in terms of how Blau got it in terms like the politics and like did they want somebody else in the day not went Blau to leave however that went down.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, they trusted Blau.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_03]: And I think from the conversations that I mean honestly, it's not even blouse for like he got a thousand questions related to Cliff King's brewery and Jamie Danes, which you know, you can't control that you get nasty questions.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: But I think he like played it like even kill.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, like, there's no negative thing to say about Jayden, he knows that his superpower is his legs, his mobility.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I think just acknowledging everything you all said.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_03]: was also going to help him that I think is something where we haven't seen the two years is just how, like, understand their changes, his effectiveness, as a runner or a run threat, right?
- 52:52[SPEAKER_03]: And that's to say, he's going to run but as a run threat, it just puts a different level of stress on the defense.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_03]: and also creates opportunities for responsiveness like elsewhere, whichever running back or tight in it can get or even like you think about bootlegs or play actions and you get your shallow crushes or your overroutes over the middle.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_03]: Like that hits the intermediate level, right at that second level.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't know how I was gonna look like under Blau, but I think for him and his lessons and that he's learned from Cliff,
- 53:28[SPEAKER_03]: You just hope that everything clicks.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_03]: He was definitely, when asked about like his opportunity, and the opportunity's gotten to be offensive coordinator, you know, he mentioned that, you know, these opportunities eventually prevent it so, a presence itself.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, he's got to ask yourself, and my prepare for this.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, right now,
- 53:58[SPEAKER_03]: We can't say oh yeah, but
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: uh, similar to what we see with Dorante, you just got to make sure that you insulate Blau with as much talent that you can acquire this all season and that does help jade in.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_03]: Um, because this is, like, to to protect your coordinators speaking about the ankle and to protect your coordinators, you got to make sure that you're not throwing them in the fire with like no resources or no tools to work with.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like,
- 54:30[SPEAKER_03]: get them what they need or enough of what they need.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: So we can make sure that we keep supplementing them in the following years.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: So I agree with y'all, essentially.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_03]: He ain't say too much.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he say too much.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, do we, do we know Brian Johnson is staying on is still on the staff?
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if they can affirm me.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: I wish you would ask them that because they feel like a lot of questions were not asked in this press or like yeah, I think I wanted to even learn why was the defense assert so extensive but the offense asserts wasn't.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: like, I mean, yes, Dan Quinn alluded to the fact that, you know, you learn from your past, like, maybe some mistakes that you made, we all know where he's getting that from the
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: early on that even I don't know how long this cliff conversation went on as far as we're going to move on for cliff at the end of the season, but I think they knew once they were getting rid of cliff that they I mean they were blah was going to be the guy because that search didn't take long at all that that's where that's where it's like for me it's like was maybe this cliff thing always the two year do.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it really boils down to because it's like Blows already working with Jaden in certain cases of whatever the case is That's why they even felt comfortable bringing blouse into coach.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I just didn't get a question asked like Why was it different search so extensive, but yet the office is searched with a couple internal guys
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: and loondah, loondah wells and what's the other dude from Arizona?
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember his name at this point.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_02]: But it was just, nice office guy.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: He was black.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, drew a drew to row.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, why was it just those guys?
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: And nobody else, like we really, Dan Quinn was up there for 30 minutes,
- 56:41[SPEAKER_02]: because it's still, it's like what really sold you that much on blouse to give him this opportunity, you know, knowing the situation.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, all in all, they did what they did.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: You film me, Jaden Daniels is excited about the opportunity.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: And rightfully so, he should be able to call his own size.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you got Josh Allison and interviews for Head Coach,
- 57:05[SPEAKER_02]: opportunities, you know, why not let?
- 57:10[SPEAKER_02]: We all know what it is with Jane Danes.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's the real, he's the real damn deal.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: He should have some say so in and what's going on off it going on off offensively.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm struggling.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, it is what it is.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: I just hope that they continue to get his input because what we seen, Jane Danes doing his last year, LSU,
- 57:35[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of the reason is the lack of the lack of weapons at the running back position and wire receiver position, you know, Jaden played with Malik Namers, Brian Thomas Jr. Kyron Lacey Chris Hilton, like you played with all those guys at wire receiver.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_03]: And he put him up in the press conference, all right.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, okay, but you know, I mean, I'm sorry Brian Johnson, I'm sorry.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_03]: I missed that.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't see that all day.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: But here, you know, I'm saying fans, oh, I don't want this person, I don't want that.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: You want more robby chosen.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: You want river, river craft.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: You want more Chris more like, like, do you want more Noah Brown?
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_02]: They just need to add a whole bunch of talent and ask why receivers to the mix
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: Looking and laying ain't going nowhere from that standpoint just because you don't want to give up on your picks But at the end of day They they can't do anything to the brink to the table.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_02]: So it was gonna be interesting man.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm more so excited for free agency
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe get that in March.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: But AJT, I don't think it was a two-year deal with Cliff.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a three-year deal.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think things happened this past off season, or not this past off season.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: But this past season, that something happened, friction wise, I'm sorry, Dan Klin, the offense, out of heaters, maybe even in sort of Cliff King's very situation.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that plan was just, get rid of Cliff at the two years, or he goes on way out of two years.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_01]: but I do think that they learned something about David Blow.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_01]: Not this year, but last year, because I heard David Blow's name mentioned last year as a guy that you don't want to let leave the field.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: I heard that last year, before this season, he even started, whatever happened this season.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I think once that friction started, happened in my clip, whenever that friction wasn't, whenever that friction started, they were like,
- 59:30[SPEAKER_01]: David Blow is going to probably be his replacement.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember saying after the season that the office of coordinator position had to be a quick higher and it had to be a quick higher because I'm like,
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: Cliff Kingsbury wasn't bad.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_01]: You got rid of Cliff Kingsbury because of philosophical differences or whatever the case may be.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't because you thought he was a bad officer coordinator or that he was a bad officer coordinator in general.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: It was because you wanted to go a different way like fundamentally what your offense.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, if you're going to do that with a guy like Cliff that you know isn't pretty good off as a coordinator, then you better have a plan in place pretty quickly to replace him because this was as we see an extensive coaching search and a firm like the market for coaches so many different coaches got fired so many different coaches got hired this offseason.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: So the point where the competition was going to be steep.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: that you couldn't go out there and just fire a guy that you knew was productive without a plan at place because you were going to be competing with a lot of teams for an office coordinator.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: So how quickly they moved to David Blow, I know we talked a lot about Mike McDonald from Miami and all that, how quickly they moved to David Blow told me that that plan had been a place for a while that if Cliff was going to leave, this is who was in the higher.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they believed a lot in David Blow and I think that this was a plan that was kind
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: works for a while.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_03]: Hey man, there it is.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, let's see what the chat is saying.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_03]: Blow was wrong, said Blow was credit.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they said that.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: Blow was credit for that TV against Philly and 24 that won the game.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, Jay Titi said DQ new for a while.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_03]: He was getting Cliff out the paint.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_03]: They show Blow morning.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_03]: Cliff.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_03]: That must be hard knocks.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, he is
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_03]: I ain't got a lot of y'all as much as I told y'all.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_03]: I like hard knocks, but I thought N.C. is the hard knocks of the entertainer.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_03]: But I watched like two episodes.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_02]: It was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how that dude was just wild.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really watch hard not like that.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: I just watched because we were on it this time And y'all was like, I didn't want to this time I love hard knocks, but it was like there was no information given like there was no There was no real access like it it was just It was just us watching like YouTube shorts Like it was no if like if you're gonna do a hard knocks That's why I hate that's one thing I hate about the NFL.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_02]: They don't give
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_02]: enough access to the fans of content like NBA will provide so much different content on stuff it's like even look at the Super Bowl you're hearing about like how uh Julian love is like telling telling his teammates about the tells
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_02]: and in New England's game plan, offensively and Drake may.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you only get those things on Super Bowl, but anytime during the season, you don't get none of that information, you don't get any of that access and it sucks.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_03]: It does, man.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're super protective about like shit that people see during the regular season.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, but that's black.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_03]: No, this is like, I'm, I'm a Graham saying like they probably is just like, yeah, like, if, if for all of that, like, it's, it's a reason why they even have a hard time finding teams to do shit because they don't want to, it's just so much, but it's so much politics, man.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, people love it.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_03]: So look, we're going to try to stay on God as she was trying to get on the show.
