- 1:03[SPEAKER_05]: This is a commander's post game recap, the final post game recap of 20, 25 season.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_05]: One of the worst seasons I have endured in a long time.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe in a couple years.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_05]: That's all you want to look at it.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_05]: But Washington ends their season with the win.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_05]: I know some people are upset about that.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_05]: 247, uh, they moved to five and 12.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_05]: It fucked up the draft order.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_05]: If you know, if you were rooting for that fifth spot, they possibly had a potential with the Giants and the Browns winning.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_05]: Um, let's get the administrative items out of the way.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_05]: Hit that like button hit that subscribe button if you want to YouTube side of the country.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate you checking in.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: audio side hit the button man follow rate and review if you can't take 10 seconds do so and it's free to show you support that weight shout out to I did say that I was going to get slanted probably a little bit when that bench in the films doesn't came out I was not surprised that that came to fruition but I appreciate everybody who watched it it's still up there if you want to check out it haven't done so yet yet on the trumpet to have you to channel we got one more coming up

- 2:13[SPEAKER_05]: That adult season's here.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_05]: But next up is what's to do with the game?
- 2:16[SPEAKER_05]: Johnny knew it.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_05]: Come on this week.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_05]: I was going to put it out Friday or Saturday, not thought to wait for the game, fellas.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_05]: I said, let me see if he do something in the filly game.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_05]: And what do you do with the filly game?
- 2:30[SPEAKER_05]: I couldn't put that shit out on Friday, Saturday.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, by the way, he's coming up next.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_05]: Since the new year on the show, happy new year to everybody is watching live as well, happy new year, hope y'all will save digital thing, wherever y'all want to do y'all thing, bringing in a new year's.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I feel it, man.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_05]: I'm pissed.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, damn man, what a way to end a stupid season with a meaningless win that takes you out of a top five in the trap and I think the gap between top five and top seven is probably going to be huge I mean we can probably pick the right player, but I think a better player is probably going to be picked ahead of us.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_04]: That's just my opinion.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_04]: I could be wrong.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm emotionally talking right now, but yeah, as a right now, I'm not feeling too well, man.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, I think for me, I really don't care where anyone's laughing at, um,
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I think it.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's not like back in the day, not even back in the day that long ago, but it's not like they were battling for like number one, number two or number three.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: And you had quarterbacks like Caleb Williams and Jayden Dang was available.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: And I guess you did throwing Drake Mae if that's your cup of tea.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: For me, it's just funny.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's hilarious because the fans wanted Washington to lose and they can't even do that right.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_03]: So that's the story.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's just how I look at it.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: I think for me, it's more so whether you had number five, you had number seven, or you could have been at pick 28, you just got to hit on the player that you picking in the first round.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: That, that's all that matters.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that their soul will be some talent available.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_03]: When that comes and just more so, do you trust Adam Peterson to make that pick?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I think there's a lot of conversations that we'll have here on Trapper Dots tonight that won't revolve around this damn game that we just watched.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, it's, I mean, the game itself, I mean, nothing burger.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, in terms of like the the meaning of it.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Philly had a chance to take the number two seed.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_05]: They lost.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_05]: They blew it.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Washington, and they're in.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_05]: You weren't playing for anything except for pride.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, Dan Quincy will play these month.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to have to see these guys in two weeks.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_05]: What they got to see us in two weeks and he sure showed them.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_05]: He's so slow down.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_05]: He's so cute.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's so dumb on the figure.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_05]: He said, yeah, I told you all we was going to get this done.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I'm, I'm with y'all from the sense of like a, I mean, a stupid win.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but I'm not too, I'm not too upset.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_05]: Like I'm not, I'm not mad at it and, and it's more so lean on the fact like I had no.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I had all the expectations in the world that Washington was going to go and try to win the game, like they never showed any, at any point, this season that they quit on the season, they just ain't good.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_05]: And when you play your third string quarterback, whoever to hell, I think that's if they're a string quarterback, McGee and I mean, I don't need to volunteer Smith play for what a couple, like the first half, I think.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_05]: And like my overarching thing really relies around what AJ mentioned too, is it's all about who's going to pick the player.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if two spots, and this is where me and me and Jerry are on the opposite sides of the fence, and, but you're not alone, Jerry, because I see people say the same thing that you say on Twitter in terms of like just the difference between a top five and outside of the top five.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_05]: And my thing is, though, like,
- 6:20[SPEAKER_05]: If that difference of two slots potentially, right, being top five or picking six, as opposed to seven.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_05]: If that makes a huge difference in your ability to find a cornerstone player, when you have
- 6:36[SPEAKER_05]: the seventh pick in the draft for your first overall pick.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_05]: And you can't find a player that can be an instant impact guy, whatever position it is.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not even by the expected speculate.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_05]: We got all all season to do that.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: Then I don't think you would build for this job.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_05]: And I think like that's kind of my thing when I look at any aspect like move forward with,
- 7:05[SPEAKER_05]: his draft and this all season all together was going to be more difficult is going to be the picks after the first round.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think you don't pick against the third round, right?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_05]: So you don't have a second round pick, but ended a day like evaluates your prior drafts, like your first, your first two drafts.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_05]: Um, who, like, who has been key contributors?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you had three, three
- 7:35[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Mike Sandworth still is playing.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_05]: All right, and, and I will give credit to Mike Sandworth still in terms of his impact.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_05]: He's created turnovers.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_05]: He's only one Korean turnovers.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_05]: I won't take that away from him.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_05]: Johnny knew and he had a three set game.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_05]: That was his most impactful performance throughout the season.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but I mean, we're talking on a person who, fucking,
- 7:57[SPEAKER_05]: uh, non-existent outside of the three-second performance and honestly, those three-secks, two of them were fed to them from other, his teammates doing their job.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I say this to say, Congress have been sending it.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, two catches a day.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_05]: Average and two catches a game.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_05]: Congratulations, but you had what nine yards or not even nine, probably like three one or two yards, I mean congratulations and I guess my and in the reason and in going back to my point, going back to my point, what, like who has been super consistent on offensively or defensively, where exclusive teams.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_05]: Where, where is the, No.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_05]: Where's the, what, what's up, bro?
- 8:43[SPEAKER_03]: Cause you, you, you know, you talked about his catches, but he had two red zone fall starts.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_05]: You're, you just, I'm not even worried about Ben.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_05]: That's not even my question.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_05]: My question is who is beyond, who beyond this first two rounds, even in the first two rounds, if you want to include them, are actually super impactful.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_05]: Which is the point of the 2025 or 2026 draft you have a first round pick and then you have a third round pick Adam Peters cannot afford to miss on any of his five can afford it I'm not saying saying I mean it's it's like the reality is it's going to be hard for you to be perfect but you are in a deficit you cannot afford to have
- 9:29[SPEAKER_05]: a couple of your draft picks to be ineffective and out of the league in a year or two or just outright not doing shit.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: You got to have at least those first three doing something for you and doing something like in a major way that doesn't include special things.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_05]: My fucking makes some turn over going to defense, score some touchdowns on the offense.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I think, I think, like, yeah, that's my main thing.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I hear Drake, but I think once he gets to sit down with his thought a bit more, he'll come over to our side.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, this is a draft that there's a lot of talent, you know, and I think even the way that people are predicting the board to go, I think that there's going to be some some things that surprised you on draft day.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think a lot of people, what would pick the giants have currently?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_04]: They got six, I believe, six or fifth one.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_03]: So if it's six or fifth,
- 10:28[SPEAKER_03]: whatever the case is.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, what about Jeremiah love at running back?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you add in a running back with what they have at QB, I guess, because it sounded like they go higher.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody they got from the air, he would dart.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_03]: like that changed their offense overall.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: But I just think like even more alluded to, man, is way too many players in this draft.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think that this any top 10 while I receive her in this draft.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: I know we had this conversation probably privately, or whatever.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not the Jordan Tyson Cardinal take guy.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: or whatever the case is, but I feel like there's someone that can help the team, you know, at a David Bailey a Ruben Bane and some aspect.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not necessarily a fan for this team, for him, but you got Peter Woods, you got so many other guys that could bring some type of value.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_03]: And if you feel like you're not satisfied with them, you know, you trade back, but the thing is,
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: right now that we know of that's still employed as a GM, I don't really, I don't really know if his expertise of what they're saying has shown with Finn Washington, which was the later rounds hidden on picks.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: You have nothing to show for it.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you can see Jordan McGee run fast, but I mean, there's a lot of linebackers these days that can run fast.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like, to me, he's a jack, you know.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: We talked about Senate, Jag, Lane, Jag, I receiver, Luke, Jag, like you just, you don't have anything to really like showcase or champion for like this is what we can point to like this person did a magazine job with this selection and the same thing goes for even like Dan Quinn with his defense.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: You can't champion his defense.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing to point to.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: So essentially
- 12:29[SPEAKER_03]: is not anything to champion for right now.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: So that's where it makes it a very intriguing all season.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: And probably one of the most important all seasons as a Washington Commanders fan in a very long time because this is make a break it, or you might be onto a new GM and new head coach next year.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: And another thing where a money you debunked
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: I know I tweeted about this yesterday and I really, I'm not saying this is what you've done, but I feel like whenever there's a female and every report,
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: on things within the NFL, they get so much like pushback.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: Same thing happens with Joe Cena Anderson.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_03]: You feel me or me in the kinds.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: But like, Joe Cena and Donna, Donna, or Rassini, are actual NFL insiders.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: They are highly credentialed with the NFL and these organizations.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_03]: Just think about it as a man.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_03]: Like, most dudes in real life,
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: women.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: So what do you think is happening in organizations with coaches, GMs, all those things?
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: I think that we have to stop just saying, oh, those things don't exist.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like whatever she reports is BS is fake.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, there's traction there.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: They just got to be careful how they put it out there and how it was worth it.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: But there's traction and we're seeing now everybody's jumping
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: You're looking at an organization that is probably going to keep their head coach, but that head coach is going to have the higher two new coordinators, and it's not because they got promoted to other teams, which is a very interesting thing.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think I've ever seen an NFL where coach has returned and had to replace a office coordinator and defensive coordinator that weren't hired as head coaches elsewhere.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_04]: And for me, I just want to kind of elaborate more while I at least today, while I feel the way I feel today.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I'm going to get over it because I have no choice.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to have seven pick and a draft.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_04]: And you just have to get you today and get adjusted to it.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe hope some of those guys fall, hope some of those teams in front of you are quarterback desperate.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_04]: And some of those quarter basketball early both for me.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_04]: It's more about options.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like, if I didn't have any money in my pocket and someone said, hey, I'll get you the $100 or $500.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to want the $500.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, I don't have any money in my pocket.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_04]: I can make something happen with this $100.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_04]: But I'll have more options with this $500.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_04]: That's how it was for me as far as trap position.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm going to say options.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to have options that more of the top end talent in the draft and the draft that I think suffers from top end talent.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_04]: You're also going to have more options for those treat down 14 that has what 5, 6 picks in his draft that Washington does.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: We need more options.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: We need more picks somehow in his draft.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_04]: and the picks that we are going into this draft.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_03]: But, but Drake, what has, what has having additional picks brought you in 2024?
- 15:39[SPEAKER_04]: Or options.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_03]: It got you more as.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_04]: But got you more as.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_04]: That's, I will give them grace for that AJ because that was in 2024.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: Game, it gave you more as.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_03]: So look, can you, can you come on, right?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: Jack, okay, it gave you more jags.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: You had more options of jags.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_04]: But even still, just another ass.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, this is a excuse for not doing anything.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_04]: It's basically saying, why do anything, because you don't try, why have more swings or why have more by simple Apple, because you don't trust the guy picking.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: If I don't trust the guy picking, I rather give him more swings than have limited swings.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_04]: Because limited swings is more likely.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_04]: He's not going to give you more than you have.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_04]: if I have more swings as a possibility that my percentage of hitting on those picks will go up higher.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_04]: So that's my whole point is I just would have rather had options.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_05]: I got you saying?
- 16:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, it's an issue.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_04]: In April, even next year, whatever, I'm not going to remember this Philadelphia when if anything other than it all was useless.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to remember that some rookie that we had or some young guy that we had had a great game because that didn't happen a day.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to remember this as the Johnny Newton breakout game or another Johnny Newton
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: game.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to remember it for anything.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: I might have even remembered it.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_04]: Josh Johnson, even played in this game.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_04]: But I won't remember that we may, I mean, at least to this point, I'm going to remember that we had the seventh pick in the draft.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_04]: And like, hopefully you do get on that.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, we need to hit on every pick.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_04]: But if you don't trust the guy, which I'm not saying I don't trust Adam Peters, but if I don't trust them or if you do trust them, whatever you want him to have a better chance or a better swing in the draft
- 17:22[SPEAKER_05]: Here's my thing, so like in the sense of what you're saying, I get it, I also think like in shout out to A.O.C.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: I say if I pick, I said it on Twitter too, but it's they have six picks, but
- 17:37[SPEAKER_05]: I think my main thing and what Jerry, what you're saying, I mean, having seven or seven or more is been official and maybe they do find a way to accumulate seven or more come draft day one, two or three whoever knows.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_05]: But I think what also helps if you have more picks, it makes the lease a little bit shorter for Adam Peters if you don't hit on those picks.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_05]: And that's kind of the pessimistic view of it.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_05]: faith in them or your lack of faith and I mean obviously you don't know either until time moves forward but time move forward meaning like 2027 season or something like that or maybe even after the 2026 season but but I think at the end of the day when you have more pictures and you can start to like
- 18:29[SPEAKER_05]: see where they go with the picks they have, the pick analysis, the rationale for why you choose a let me go back to the layup of mine, why you choose a Johnny Newton over to Andre sweat, granite.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_05]: uh, Johnny's accolades and college was, you know, there's no slouch but still, um, you're projecting a pro player here, um, I think like those things like the drafting analysis that rationale is all going to be something that is going to be taken into account from the evaluator of Adam Peters, moving forward.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_05]: Um, what I mean, I think, honestly,
- 19:19[SPEAKER_05]: Adam Peters, like, wait, what's out of 20 minutes?
- 19:24[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do a break.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_05]: We want to be on here for too long.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_05]: When we come back, we'll talk about the, can we talk about recini, right?
- 19:31[SPEAKER_05]: So we're going to come back, and we're going to talk about the recini report briefly.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_05]: We'll kind of rehash that on Tuesday because we have a guest that's going to come on.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_05]: And we'll talk a little bit more about it then, but let's kind of like get our initial thoughts out there from us three.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll take the a break now.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_05]: When we come back, we'll close out with,
- 19:49[SPEAKER_05]: uh, the reporting on the coaching staff and etc.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_05]: In the meantime, let me tell y'all about these people over here at underdog fantasy.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_05]: Football season is in full swing and underdog is the best place to get them on all the action playing on a dog is easy.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_05]: Just pick whether your favorite players will go higher or lower on stats like rushing yards or sessions touchdowns and more.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, we do have a Baltimore Pittsburgh game tonight.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I'm trying to remember, I think I did this game on the all 32 piecast, but because there is no Monday night game and maybe I did this up.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_05]: Um, we're on a run it back.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_05]: Um, we're going to do four picks to two players each thing.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_05]: uh Lamar Jackson is coming back for the game Lamar Jackson's passing and receiving or see me passing and rushing yards at 2.39 and a half um we're gonna go lower on Lamar Jackson's 2.39 and a half passing and rushing yards and Rogers
- 21:07[SPEAKER_05]: No, we're not going to do Aaron Rogers wants to keep that at the mark.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_05]: We want to go to where's the reception say.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_05]: Kind of the game will, that's my vote.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: Kind of the game will, he's at four and a half receptions.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to go higher on kind of game wills, four and a half receptions.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I can see him getting like seven, eight of them thanks.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Zay Flowers, he's a tricky guy.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, and it's funny because round on 32, he always he'll tell you in a hard beat.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_05]: Don't put him on any tickets.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_05]: That's how I ever perform, all they flowers do was cook.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_05]: And he had his random dud, right?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_05]: I'm afraid that this could be the random duh, but I don't think it's going to be higher on Z flower 60, so I don't have receiving yards.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_05]: So we've got the Marjacks in the past and Russian.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_05]: We're going over or higher, excuse me.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_05]: Zay Flowers hired on a 62 and a half receiving yards, higher on Kenneth Gainville's receptions for an a half.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_05]: And then we're going to do where is, no, Russian and receiving.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_05]: So we can do J. Lamorn.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_05]: J. Lamorn is at 64 and a half, Russian and receiving yards are going to go higher.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_05]: All right, there we go.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_05]: Download the app today and use promo code chapter to score $75 as a bonus.

- 23:17[SPEAKER_05]: Let's talk about some one sense and take away and then we'll close out with the reporting.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty much a lot of people.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_05]: Wait, where is it?
- 23:26[SPEAKER_05]: For I even start, you have it.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, it's not too many today.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm not surprised because everybody's sick of this season.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_05]: A money said, it's time to see if AP is a gourmet chef or a fast food cook.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_05]: Go on, yo.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Zem 489.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_05]: Culture wins are utterly meaningless when you suck and 25 new players are due to be here next year.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_05]: Darium.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_05]: Um, NSNQS 88 never been more glad for a season to come to an end.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, a little bit more peaceful.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_05]: Um, in way, last year we thought it was end of the air, but the end of this year is just a, but the end of this year is just the end of it.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_05]: That's funny, end of an era, damn.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, Benjamin, boycott until DQ is fired.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_05]: And we have confident coaching that understand the stakes instead of catchy quotes.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_05]: Damn, picking five is better than seven.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_05]: So of course they win, damn.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_05]: Western sense it, fire DQ, damn, all right.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_05]: got a couple more, but I'll let all of those rocks.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_05]: All right, let's get to the report, man.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_05]: So,
- 24:50[SPEAKER_05]: I think what's surprising to some people when the initial report that came out for something.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_05]: For those who don't know, I'm gonna kind of sum it up.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's not word for word, it's not verbatim.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_05]: But essentially, Diana Rucini came out with a port and I have let it essentially saying, don't be surprised if Cliff Kingsbury,
- 25:14[SPEAKER_05]: Excuse me, it's no longer a watch to take the matter off as a coordinator, uh, even if he does not get a head coaching job, um, he may not be here next year.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, and she also alluded to there being a disconnect between, um, Kingsbury and Adam Peters, uh, and some people was surprised, um, when they heard that from the standpoint of two things.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_05]: One of what the disconnect is, that's such a vague reporting or a vague way to throw in disconnect like what are the details like what does that mean exactly is left up for speculation.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_05]: not a criticism of Diana, but it's more so just actually dive it into or trying to peel back the layers of what a disc and make peace.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_05]: And then there's another conversation saying, well, what is Cliff Kingsbury's done?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_05]: He's been behind the eight ball all season dealing with injuries, et cetera, all these things, or I see the focus when the defense society be the main focus, or even the hate coach, right?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_05]: So that's where we are.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_05]: If you haven't heard anything, that's where we are right now.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_05]: Fellas, what are your initial posts when you're here?
- 26:32[SPEAKER_05]: Just kind of the conversation behind Cliff King'sbury potentially not being back regardless of getting from a promotion.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, when I talk to y'all about it the other day, my initial thought when I first read it, I said, okay, this is a little bit strange because what what could the disconnect between the office of coordinator and the GM like my my thing would be more my thought would be that if there was a disconnect that would be between the office of coordinator and H C to hit coach.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, Diana's reported has been a little shady at best when it comes to watch it, but I don't think she's kind of just, you know, false reporting in here, maybe the disconnect thing could be, you know, just over uses of the other word.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: But if I
- 27:16[SPEAKER_04]: I had to think of anything that could be a disconnect.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: It would be probably clips utilization of Jaden this season.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_04]: Like I mean, maybe AP wasn't happy with that because I always thought that when they shut Jaden down for the season, that that call came above Dan Quinn's head.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that call came from Dan Quinn.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_04]: I think if it was up to Dan Quinn, Jaden a healthy Jaden or whenever Jaden was cleared to play football, he would have played football till they ended the season.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_04]: But I thought that call came from upstairs.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's the disconnect she could be alluding to is that it came from how Cliff used jaded because I mean, if anybody, you know, watch, we talked about this is that when you watch Mary Yoda play this season and when you watch jaded and play that was clearly
- 28:00[SPEAKER_04]: a difference of how they called the game, at least.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I usually hate when people say that, but this was kind of clear when you watched it like, he relied more on Jayden, you know, as a pastor, which means he wasn't relying a lot on a ring game, which I thought could have helped Jayden out a lot.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_04]: Well, in Mary, Yoda was then they kind of ran heavy a little bit more.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_04]: They leaned on the ring game a little bit more.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they kind of looked for ways to get Mary Yoda out and space with his legs that I thought, you know, could have helped Jayden out.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_04]: So, I mean, I think if that's if we're talking about it,
- 28:30[SPEAKER_04]: But I do think there's something to clip possibly not being here anymore.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_04]: It's not just because of that MS report.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_04]: I think Ian Rappaport, I believe, was the got Tom Pelacero or some, I know Tom Pelacero and someone else, and maybe Ian Rappaport reported something else along those lines.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: He didn't use the verbiage that Diana used in terms of a disconnect, but they said that they could go elsewhere with the office of coordinated.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_04]: It's a soft launch.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_04]: It's like a soft launch that you know this guy will not be here next year.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm kind of leaning towards about 85% they click probably
- 29:12[SPEAKER_04]: just going to take another job.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever that job could be, it could be a lateral move, it could be our promotion to a hit-coup somewhere, but I do think that this is kind of that soft launch to say that Cliff is moving on, and it may not be just because of a disconnect with AP.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_04]: It just could be, you know, he feels a little bit differently at how things are being ran and not just AP, but Dan Clinton, whoever else may feel a little bit differently and it's just time to move on.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, um, a money, that is something I should have wrote up, uh, I think the timing, um, is actually interesting too because the report came out from her, um, where she counted.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_05]: Like put a microscope on it came out on Saturday and the end of the season press conference with AP and DQ.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's tomorrow.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's going to happen tomorrow.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_05]: But either way, it's going to be real soon.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_05]: So I think from the standpoint of even getting a conversation from them out of it, you probably won't get much.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: But like.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_05]: Now it's going to be a focus within that media room trying to understand what possibly could exist.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_05]: Ben Standick, who is an independent reporter now, and doesn't work for an outlet.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_05]: He actually had a quote today in a story that he came up with and he said,
- 30:49[SPEAKER_05]: uh and his story that another source familiar with Washington's internal dynamics described the situation sustainably intriguing theater.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_05]: Um another thing I don't know what what the fuck that means.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_05]: But when you think about just like how this thing is going on like they're they have done a really good job.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_05]: everybody in that organization of putting a lead on what potentially if there were more mouse that was yapping, it can be like a cryo show in a sense.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_05]: Because this is really teeterin on the brink of like throwing coordinators under the bus.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's where it can be viewed as if you if you really wanted to kind of like say something so plainly, um,
- 31:42[SPEAKER_05]: Because, like, if you look at this, Joe Whit, trashed.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_05]: That's the perception and the pain I think is right for you.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: So, I think he was above his skis.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's the right phrase to say it.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_05]: But Kasebury, effective offense, but like even some of your elements, the basic elements of what can make an effective offense even more dangerous,
- 32:09[SPEAKER_05]: didn't have it, despite the talent or lack of talent that you didn't have in year two.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_05]: But again, like, who's put that information out there to Diana, you know, AJ made the point of saying that this actually probably isn't even a Washington thing, this is probably somebody, it would make it even worse, somebody who's protected and clipped
- 32:39[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so all that to say, like, people who run their mouth and when when the season is as bad as it is, like you want to have people try to say themselves.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_05]: And there's a couple people in this and in Washington's organization who are in that.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_05]: very familiar predicament when a season is this bad is like who do I need to talk to or who do I need to talk to to like get my side out there and like all of these things and I think for Washington you can look at Cliff who's in that position Joe went if he wanted to which he isn't
- 33:26[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but there are plenty of people out there who can really afford to like save themselves in this situation and maybe Cliff is one of those people if he's truly connected to a Diana and that aspect.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_03]: You see what I was saying like we got people here learn her place like come on.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's a misogynistic behavior and it's like for someone like my self that's been in the industry But this ain't the streets, man.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like this is not the hood like these people that work in this corporate space Got some no different in your job And your job you work it
- 34:07[SPEAKER_03]: We all, we all have been in situations where we've had someone at our job that just got us about everybody, like, and they called the bulldozer, and I just think with Cliff, it could be a magnitude of things like the guy that represents an agent lives in me.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_03]: He works for rock nation, right?
- 34:29[SPEAKER_03]: He has a great position, but as far as like,
- 34:33[SPEAKER_03]: how he maneuvers, he's a weird dude.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_03]: So at the end of the day, you just never know what angles coming from.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_03]: I just think that you got to take credence to it.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_03]: especially how Dan Quinn built his staff.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_03]: Cliff is the only guy that it's on staff that he's never worked with or had really had a relationship with.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't have a relationship with Cliff.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like he loved how he diagnosis his scheme offlessly, but he didn't have a relationship with him and worked together.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_03]: And a lot of the success that Washington was able to have offlessly had to do with tempo.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: Are you telling me the tempo can only work when Jane is in?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_03]: If Mary Oda has to play her any other quarterback, they're not practicing with the same tempo and the same scheme.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's the sense of what you're looking at.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_03]: You don't see the scheme look the same, like we just said.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like you don't see it look that way and it almost feels like, let's go back to even the Ben Senate thing.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: I know we hate talking about him, but that pick looks like the 49est pick.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_03]: That looks like someone that,
- 35:38[SPEAKER_03]: In an AP said it all is mouth, the big how you shake.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_03]: Cliff Kingsbury's office does not utilize a guy in the way Kyle you check is you don't mean like that's not what Ben Senate that's not what Ben Senate is being asked to do really in this office like it is weird so there has to be something going on there I just find it interesting if you're going to be in position to where you have to look for a new office of
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: Then why not just get rid of the damn handcuffs all together at this rate?
- 36:14[SPEAKER_03]: That's just how I feel.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: So I think where the smoke, there's fire and there's a big powwow and can't fire happening over there.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: And I think maybe people aren't used to it because this new regime has been so close
- 36:40[SPEAKER_03]: It is real.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's just you're now not winning anymore.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_03]: You're now losing.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_03]: This will happen when you lose like information like this is going to come out the day before Black Monday, like Black Monday is infamous in the NFL.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: And that's exactly what's taking place right now.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I just think, be prepared to find out even more later on this week about that relationship and that breakdown, because in my opinion, Cliff's offense doesn't work for a jade and long term.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_03]: I shared something with you guys that I found online that I've normally wouldn't even typically share, but I've just found it astonishing, the fact that
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: Washington has been understanding the fewest times among all the NFL teams, and 46 of those understanders steps, 38 of those were run and eight of those were passes.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you're not really running a balance offense here at this point.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_03]: You're not running a offense that looks familiar to what Adam Peters is even used to picking from a person that'll stand point.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_03]: So I think when you break it down that way, it's just probably where the disconnect is.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_03]: Some people might allude to it.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_03]: Ben, oh, Terry McClellan's contract.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_03]: No, that's football.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's the business side.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_03]: But there's definitely a way to add him Peter's business.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_03]: His offense, looking in how your choir's players for that offense versus what a cliff king's very does with his personal, his offensive scheme.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: Can I shoot this and I'm asking this for a reason and let's hypothetically say Cliff is gone after the season Who would you want higher in the office coordinator the head coach of the GM and I accident because remember We had a situation before when Jay Grunner was here he said a couple of times he didn't have autonomy over who he can pick as his Coaches that that was up to Bruce Allen and kind of dang Snyder at the time so would you approve of
- 38:44[SPEAKER_04]: I believe this is the office, of course, made it reach a go with, or do you, when you put that in Dan Clinton's hands?
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I would like for, I would like for the head coach and the GM to be on the same page, but it's very rare that those things kind of happen.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not quite sure of the, of the background
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: at the end of the day, if Adam Peters really wanted Dan Quinn as his head coach, I'm not quite sure of that, right?
- 39:16[SPEAKER_03]: So in this case, I just see them falling back with familiarity once again, like we see in a lot of things in life, in their erudity, I just see that being the situation with this, whoever's going to be the OC is going to have some type of connection with either Adam Peters or Dan Quinn or either one of those.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not going to be overly surprised by one of those hires having that connection.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: I think it would be weird if it were a newbie.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: Like if it were still a connection, let's say out here is, I mean,
- 39:55[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to bring in a first time defense coordinator to help you keep your job.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's scary.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_03]: So you're going to possibly elevate David Blau to be your OC and he's never called plays before.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: That's scary.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: So that's where I think it gets a bit tricky and where I think you're one of the reporters.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_03]: information, they said that they've already been in pursuit of their defensive coordinator.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: So that means they already have a short list prepared, like they're ready.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_03]: Now from the office standpoint, I think we'll see all of that reveal this up within the next couple of days.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_03]: What happens with Cliff?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_05]: Um, what was your question, man?
- 40:41[SPEAKER_04]: No, I was asking because in I was specifically asked because AJ was bringing up the fact that he thought that maybe there was a disconnect and the player or the utilization of how Cliff uses the players that have drafted and I'm like, well, if you're moving on from Cliff after this season, who would you want making that choice, do you want the GM who picks the players to kind of step in and say, hey, this is what I think we should make the office coordinator, or do you lead that up to an end claim to make that choice?
- 41:12[SPEAKER_05]: Like they love to say, it'll be a collaboration between the two.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_05]: They'll probably have to do their due diligence and ask around and things of that nature.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_05]: See who works, who understands the players, and how they, like, whatever plan it worked, or whatever plan is laid out that makes sense.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_05]: But whatever plan is presented by the person they're interviewing, interviewing, makes sense for the staff.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_05]: I do think it is interesting though,
- 41:41[SPEAKER_05]: you know, when you drive certain players and you just see like, I'm sure if like you're the GM and you see like, you know, why does, why does my, why does my tight end get out there after what, who I fall can be a superstar?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_05]: Why does the only had nine catches going into the final week of the season for a hundred yards?
- 41:59[SPEAKER_05]: Why don't you have that, you know, tight ends get that in one game, he got that in the course of the season and you're telling me, you can't use his mother like that.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_05]: where he's not getting seen, I mean, because he was after 29% of the snaps.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_05]: And that was like, even with the three games as that girl before the family, three games as that girl is miss.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_05]: Like, he was after 60% of the snaps, 67, since that girl's was out.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_05]: But like damn, like, I'm sure he's looking at the situation of saying, this is a second round pick.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_05]: I need more.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_05]: I need him to actually show his talent.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_05]: And I look at that, like, well, buddy, I'm here to tell you, he's giving it all you got.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_05]: Been sent it to us, give it all you got.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_05]: He gave it all you got.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_05]: And you just won't have to, you won't have to find something else at tight end.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_05]: uh, in all of season, buddy.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and just use them the way you would hold a tight in two or tight in three can be used for it.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but on that to say, it's going to be a collaborative effort, offensively, and actually part of the conversation that we had for me, I said, like, I think the defensive side is going to have to be the one where, you know, you have to hit the home run offensively, you just need competence.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, you need competence,
- 43:22[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, but more importantly, any competence somebody who's done this before who's a better this shit, uh, who's had success, um, and I think there's a couple of people out there that, you know, that fist that mode.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but like, uh, the, the, the office is still on wrong around jating.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_05]: It's just how do you make the skin as well as the players involved, like how do you get that pop around jating?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but defensively, you're going to need a stud wherever the hell that is.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_05]: Um,
- 43:50[SPEAKER_05]: You got thoughts on that question too because we get about it every day.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_05]: You got thoughts on it on your own question, Jerry?
- 43:54[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I would probably say when you're thinking about office of me, I do think that if we're worried about how guys are going to be used in an office, especially when you talk about Dan Quinn as a defensive guy, I would probably as the GM or probably lean more towards one in the GM to have more influence over who the OC is.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_04]: That way, everything falls back on the GM at the end of the day.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_04]: a link that's going into next season or hit can be one of the hot sea going into next season.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_04]: So why not, you know, if you know, okay, I can pick certain guys and I want certain guys to look a certain way in the office and you know, Dan Clinton's more of a defense of God.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe I do want more influence over who's going to be the office coordinated.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, I say all that to say, I mean, at the end of the day, they made just promote from within.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you have a couple of guys or a couple of candidates within their coach staff right down in a brand Johnson, who's called please before, but the Philadelphia E was Anthony Lim, who's been a head coach before in the box.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: Bobby Avery, Bobby Avery in college.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Mr. Wisconsin.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_04]: Bobby Ingram saw me at the end of the day, the answer may be within.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_04]: So it may not be too hotter than the decision.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that you are picking some of those guys or one of those three guys that we just kind of mentioned, you know, you probably have more influence over what they're going to call, even though you're giving them the autonomy to pick the place and call the place, you already know what kind of office you want to run with as a cliff comes in with a
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Cliff has his office and his thing that he wants to run.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: And you have to kind of conform to a Cliff King's various office coordinator.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: And that may be what a disconnect is coming.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: If the disconnect reports a true then, you know, Cliff runs this type of office.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_04]: But Adam likes these type of players and his type of players don't work in Cliff's office.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_04]: So who knows?
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: But if that's the case, like I said, you may be able to promote from within.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: And you may have more influence over who how players get utilized when you have one of those guys from within.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_04]: So who knows?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's so interesting now, think about even more.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of the guys on the office of staff don't align from a philosophy standpoint, officially at all with what Cliff wants to do.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you look at Anthony Lynn, right?
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: Coming from the Shanna Han family, the tree, him calling plays for Detroit, also being a part of San Fran with Adam Peters and Derell Tap.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_03]: They don't mirror nothing in nothing in the run game mirrors in my opinion what the shenanigans do you know like it is just very interested from from that standpoint maybe that's where the disconnect is like I said when you're winning things look so much differently when you're losing things things crumble and this what happens but I want before I guess we get out of here if they were to elevate somebody from within offensively
- 46:46[SPEAKER_03]: and defensively or either one of the two, how would you feel?
- 46:52[SPEAKER_03]: Because I personally feel like you should've just fired Dan Quinn at that point.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_05]: So we couldn't say this for two these day, bro.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's still a conversation.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we have a guest on, so we don't know the airpane.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's still something that could be talked about.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: I think Tuesday will have you a more information to talk about honestly.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, a bit broke from with Amber, I mean, I don't think it's going to, I don't think remote from within is going to spark any, any optimism from the fan base or anybody.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_05]: So I'll just say, I don't think you're going to get anything from anybody outside of the building that would say like, you know, they made the right decision.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_05]: It's impossible to look at this staff after a four or five one season and like both sides of the ball has had their spurt's terrible spurt's and like think that you can see sustainability
- 48:02[SPEAKER_05]: from either side, let alone having a hair coach succeed in that environment.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_05]: Like, that's a recipe for like, all right, but like, your clock is officially taken.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you are probably out the door in a year to if a miracle doesn't happen.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_05]: And when I say miracle, I mean like, you need a drastic turnaround from coachability, messaging, developing,
- 48:32[SPEAKER_05]: and you need a talent to invent these coaches are some shit that the talent supersedes the coaching and you can still find ways to win.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_04]: And for me, my thoughts on it.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_04]: I think if you promote from within, it's a signal that this is a newer die season for the coaches staff, it's at least for Dan Quinn's standpoint.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: Because it's basically signaling that we're not going to go out and make any extensive hires when that kind of go out here and do any big search.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to kind of let you kind of, we're going to give you what you're already kind of have.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to just promote from within.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_04]: And Dan Quinn is supposed to be known as a developer of cultures.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_04]: At least that's what he says.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_04]: He says he likes the developers.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_04]: of brought the idea of the other day to you all.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_04]: I said, I wouldn't be surprised if this happens because that's what Dan Quinn is always kind of said.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_04]: That's what he's always kind of alluded to and that he wants to do to develop cultures.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that at the same time I do think it's signals that this is a do with that year.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like you probably can't miss the playoffs next year.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_04]: If you miss the playoffs next year,
- 49:40[SPEAKER_04]: It's easy for you to get out of the door, especially because you talk about when you bring in a new court, and maybe you probably talk about a new multi-year deal, and that's how many new guys are going to come in one year deal, or at least anybody did.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of has a big report in the lead or a big time reputation in the lead, and I kind of think back to Eric B. interview.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_04]: He was like probably Brown Rivera's only choice at the time when he was
- 50:03[SPEAKER_04]: and is laying duck here because Eric didn't he had a lot of proof.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_04]: But it was a prove it thing for him.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_04]: Whereas right now, I don't know how, I don't know what your candidate pool will look like.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_04]: If you go outside, not knowing that they enquince the billy or not know what they enquince jobs the billy is at this point.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_04]: Because I do believe another bad season for Washington.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: signals the infidant coin and that was signal the info and office of coordinator.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_04]: So I do I wouldn't be surprised that the promotion from with them, but I also do think that signals that is probably to do with that year for Dan Quinn.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go wrap it up for the fellas.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_05]: Again, happy new year to everybody who is checking in for the first time since we have been live in 2026, man.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_05]: The family back on Tuesday.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_05]: Um, all 32 is back this week as well.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_05]: We may or may not have a show Thursday.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_05]: It's depend on the guest, um, but you know your boy, you know, when they say one or two can't cool in locker room, I say one or two can't cool on outside, too.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_05]: I'm out to count you, buddy.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, it's okay.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_05]: So it may not be so currently, but if we get the guests, we will for show, we'll have a show.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_05]: All right, so the faculty back on Tuesday, y'all take it easy, enjoy your money, enjoy the game, goodbye here.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: Huh, watchin' throw the bump, we gon' pick it up You gon' light them hit the hole, you gon' cut it up You gon' play through for a long, you gon' put it up You're the funny savvy hitters put your pants in Don't be lookin' for the ref, don't don't fly again Keep the hell me know, keep the police tight You the type you wanna win by any means, right?
