- 1:13[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what number she almost done.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_05]: She's taking her time reading it, but she loved the book.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to appreciate that too.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to take a look when she done reading it.

- 1:45[SPEAKER_05]: Game is over.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_05]: One more game, Drake, this upcoming Saturday, and we are on to the regular season.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_05]: Score doesn't matter, but four logistical purposes, thirty one, seventeen, Washington loses to the Cincinnati bank rules.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_05]: Bro, I was
- 2:06[SPEAKER_05]: start with the good right I was pretty impressed with like the offensive flow early on right on my thinking was good to kind of see some questions get answered
- 2:20[SPEAKER_05]: specifically when you're talking about an offense who we had a question that we posed Last show maybe when we were asking about like it the offense was concerning to some extent and I mean granted I don't have that much respect for the Cincinnati Bengals defense But when you're talking about a four-play drive where every play but one play was some one of them exposed to play ten plus yarder right cuz Jade and Danny scores on a fourteen yard run scramble
- 2:49[SPEAKER_05]: But then you break, you have see where I break off for thirty.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_05]: Indeed, we'll break off for nineteen on his run to start to drive.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was very promising to see just how explosive they could be.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_05]: And it's at least to start there or to make their debut for twenty twenty five.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_05]: My baby, I don't, I don't, I got to meet my bad.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_04]: No, yeah, like we was talking about earlier, we were concerned here in some of the reports coming out of training camp, that the offense hasn't looked as sharp as we hoped they would look.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_04]: But that could have been more of the defense.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_04]: But tonight, that's what you want to see out of the offense.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they came out.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_04]: And like you said, everything was click.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_04]: And even in the second drive, when Jade has said down, you know, the finish and drive was a bill.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think he comes exploding onto the scene for a touchdown.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_04]: Like things just look good.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like Cliff had those boys working.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_04]: I love how they got people going early like basically letting you know this guy's gonna be a big part in office.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_04]: He was the first one to touch the ball.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: Only thing I was sad about watching that offense.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's a stupid complaint.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_04]: It's not even a complaint, but I didn't get to see my boy Jayden for one pass, but we didn't need him to.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_04]: The most important thing is Jayden lip explosive one is one run and I mean, he got in a game injury free.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_04]: The offense look good.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, I couldn't complain about anything I saw of the offense, or at least because they got out to the start.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_04]: You wanted to see them get off to, especially with your start as planned because last week, you know, you got blown out by the Patriots, but another to start as plea this week, the start as play.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_04]: They look a lot better.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_04]: The only thing that was probably a little bit concerning to me wasn't really the office was, most of the defense has got some of those little discipline issues clean up.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_04]: And the only reason I say it's the concern is because it was the concern last year and a lot of moments.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's some of those little discipline things, the penalties.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_04]: But I thought the energy and effort was there and that was good to see.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_04]: Like I mean, those guys were flying at the barrel.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_04]: Shave barrel almost got hurt.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what Cincinnati was thinking playing that dude for as long as they did.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: But that was almost Mount practice what they did with barrel out there.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think add everything.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_05]: They picked the perfect game to put on the Chris Rodriguez and Bill Merritt show.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_05]: Like everybody was firing on all cylinders from the offensive line and tight in his job base.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_05]: He's the reason why both touchdowns happen.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_05]: But job base put on the show on offensive line Josh Connelly.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_05]: The rookie has some good reps.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_05]: I end the run game as well.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_05]: And at one point, you're talking about, I think they had like six carries, well, hundred and sixty yards to start the game.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_05]: So like I said, if you're talking about a game where all of the drama before before the game was was about be robbed.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, be robin Terry, but mostly be robbed like that was a surprise that he was not playing.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_05]: That is that is something that she would like to see like your young guys at least showing up in the immediate game following the news.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_05]: So that's good to see.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I think
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: I like how Cliff came up with the offense with the first thing.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of the public practices that have been available.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't see Debo getting involved at all in a jet sweep or anything at that nature.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: So to start the game off, putting the ball on his hands, it's like, hey, I finally got my weapon.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: I've been looking for this.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_02]: I joined the NFL ranks.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: And this is something that you guys need to see on film.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: How we're going to utilize the motion game with him and actually give him the ball.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: So that was dope.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the office of line was doing their thing the first team.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: And that was without learn me tonsu at left tackle.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: You had Andrew Wiley playing left tackle.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: You had Connolly Jr.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: at right tackle.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: I look ready at left guard.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: No, was it
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was at right guard and Chris Paul was at left guard.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Paul.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Chris Paul's definitely making this team.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Rodriguez, first for what, maybe at thirty five, forty yard run.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: If we talk about B. Rob, you seen him only do that one time, which was last year prior to that longest room was twenty five yards.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think that you got a good little glimpse of this offense, even if you think Cincinnati's defense is bad.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what you're supposed to do against a bad defense.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's moved down Phil.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: So that's great.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, and then when you think about defensively, I think that it was solid.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: for their effort that they showed without playing with like the full repertoire guys, especially like a Bobby Wagner, of course you would have loved Louis Vu, especially being in the league for so long, not getting full there by Joe Burrow, but that's why Joe Burrow's also one of the best quarterbacks in the league, being able to use his cadence and understanding what was going on.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: So many times they bluffed
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: the the blitz that it was only right for jotted to keep threatening them because he could see that the timing had had Louville a bitch and be there.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, I think it was great.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone came out healthy.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's the main part, offensively and defensively from those that played a part of the one unit.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I think the other part of this game to take away
- 8:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's going to be a lot of dudes that make the same.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: That can actually be of service.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, I didn't really, I mean, and it's kind of concerning because it's like, I didn't even think about it until we just got on here to do this episode where was Benson tonight?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_05]: He was on the field, but
- 8:59[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's that question.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean, Luke McAfrey, like, I don't actually, I didn't even need to ask about it.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_05]: I know, but I'm saying I didn't see him or I didn't see him on the field.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_05]: And but I did see Ben on the field.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_05]: I genuinely didn't see Luke.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_05]: And if y'all saw him on the field, I don't, I, I didn't see what you have to think.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_05]: He's Luke McAfrey's first.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, what I mean, he was on the boundaries.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_05]: They didn't run, they didn't run.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they didn't pass the football all the time.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was on.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: He played.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: He played almost probably until the third and do nothing.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: But you know what I'm already saying.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_04]: You value weight the receivers when Sam Hartman's at least throwing the ball.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean Josh Johnson wasn't bad, but Sam Hartman's terrible man.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_05]: That's actually actually part of the point that that I think AJ should be talking about like somebody people ain't going to make it and he won't have him.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_05]: Like when he got in the game, but he the first play was almost an intersection.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_05]: And then he said don't worry about six.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry about three.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so like, I just think, um, it's, it is tricky trying to, especially in preseason bro.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_05]: You're talking about Josh Johnson, Sam Hartman.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I don't think Josh Johnson actually even played a bad game.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_05]: It was just that one interception, which was not good.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_05]: Like, yeah, you may again strap.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_05]: And you, and it hurts that you don't even see the, the safety over top of the corner back, giving them some help.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_05]: So I was just a bad decision.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_05]: But I said, it's like, yeah, like the receivers and question, Luke McAfrey, uh, I don't know, uh, exactly what's going on to him, but then sent it as well, like he had one target and it was the it was a bad boy from Hartman.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: Um, like, hi, he's going to his right been sent to this.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to his right and San Jose, hi, and inside was forces him to try to adjust to the ball.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_05]: So, um, and it was a third down short of the stick.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_05]: So, like, he was getting off the field anyway.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, that's the one target that been sent to the gig.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_05]: That I saw.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, I don't know, man.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I don't want to hurt too much on those guys because like, I think they're going to get a lot of time on Saturday.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_05]: But somebody who did take advantage of his opportunities is the rookie Jalen Lane.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_05]: Like the the great catch.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I got to give if there's one thing I do get credit for it is the best catch came from Sam Hartman.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think they were breaking out of it was like a corner or something like no, you ran out even out of my bed.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but a really good route set up, you know, able to flip the defenders hips and get him out of position.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_05]: And Sam threw a dime towards a sideline and it was a contestant ball.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_05]: But Jalen had the concentration was able to make the grip got flagged to the defender did.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_05]: But still came down with ended up with three catches for forty two yards on the day.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think Jalen Lane is like cementing himself as a solid option for Jalen when the regular season does start.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what actually, when I was thinking about this game earlier today, I was saying, I wonder how they're going to do Jalen Lane because remember last week, I guess the Patriots, we didn't really get to see him play until the second half, so I was like, that's a little strange.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_04]: But tonight he flashed and that's what you wanted to see.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_04]: You saw it around running.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_04]: Even the part return.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it wasn't like he had a big part return, but you just kind of see some of that ability that they talk about that he has.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_04]: You just know he's probably one or two steps away from taking anything to the house.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_04]: But like I said, what's even more impressive to me is the route run.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he
- 12:29[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's one thing we know he has the burden of speed.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_04]: We didn't get to see a lot of him in the office of a Jingu tech last year, but this year, now you're hearing these things in training camp that he has these abilities.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_04]: He could route run even Jaden's talking about him on the sideline.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: Jaden said that kid gets better every day.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_04]: So this, this is someone they obviously think how we, we've heard great things about him all summer, but the great thing is he flashed the night.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, he had tough catches, you know, with the route run with the hands, tough hands as well.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_04]: So
- 12:57[SPEAKER_04]: I'm looking forward to seeing him more so with Jayden and the starters and with him and Debo and Terry and all of those guys making it on the same field because then it's going to be pick your poison.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be one of the best offices we've seen talent wise at least on paper that we're going to see collectively as a group at our own top of the committee.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_05]: Another thing that I think about, uh, transistor to at least the defense side of the bow.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_05]: Um, three people in particular for me.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_05]: Jake Martin.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_05]: Claw Martin and Will Harris.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_05]: I did all this stuff for the only reason.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_05]: Jake Martin.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_05]: At least four pressures and I think that's important.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_05]: One.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_05]: because he had it against like their first chambers, their second chambers in at least, I think I'll stop there because I don't know how deep.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_05]: I know Jake played, I think until like the second half, but I don't know if they had their second or third team in, whenever Jake Martin got out.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, but at least their first and second chambers, he was getting pressures had at least four or five presses on the day, had a quarterback
- 14:09[SPEAKER_05]: quarterback hit, but like one of the things that I like going into the season and going into training camp with Jake like his effort and motor is relentless and his past rush moves is the ability to get to the quarterback and pressure the quarterback is is overlooked by people because of like
- 14:30[SPEAKER_05]: I guess because the journey journey meant nature of him, you know, you don't really know too much about him.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_05]: He's pushing dirty, not there yet, but he's pushing dirty.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_05]: So like, you just hope that he brings you something on the edge, but you know, if you will.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_05]: understand a little bit about Jake morning, you know that he can get to the quarterback.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_05]: So maybe this is a good year for Jake and this system to like bring to light his past responsibilities, even talk in practice training camp at practice about how.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_05]: Working with Vaughn Miller helps him get even better.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_05]: I think he works with him in all season two, but working together on the same team now is even better.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_05]: So Jake Martin for sure.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be quick with Kwan, impact plays in terms of like.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, the goal line two goal line stops.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_05]: I thought what a second one.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_05]: They scored, but at the same time, the ball just barely got over and reached that white plane.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_05]: So, um, two really good situations for Quam Martin, uh, being around the football and closing gaps and being being fast, playing, showing his place speed and then obviously wheel hairs and coverage had a couple of good places.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_05]: So, um, those are the three people, particularly for me that stood out on defense.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, defensively, you said some of the guys, I think, well, Harris, he saw that he can cuddle.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: I seen that in practice when I was there that day.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, going against some other competition, he can, he can so more within that coverage room, as far as the skillset.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: You see in Ken Law strength within the D-line,
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that first unit played play well together.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: I like the stunts that they're running.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen a strong beat, beat a double team inside and create some pressure.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I was impressed by the defensive line as a whole.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think that once you get a Bobby Wagner out there,
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me, things were looking even better from like lining up people and also being more aggressive in the run game, but yeah, I like what I'm seeing out of Martian.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: As far as like you can see his technique in place, you can also see Mikey saying this drill.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, everyone look good.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: First thing, I want to really want to harp on the
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: the second and third teams, because I mean a lot of those guys.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm not even, I don't even waste my time with them.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_05]: We're talking about what's the, what's the, what's the doing?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, who's getting cooked today?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don't even, I don
- 17:26[SPEAKER_05]: uh, Noah Ignogany, uh, uh, Mike Sanford still, uh, your boy, Trey Amos and Marcia and Latin word.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_05]: That's all, that's all I'm talking about.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I will, I will say before, you know, Drake speaks.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: uh... came uh... madrano he he definitely look solid i mean uh... a u c l a he struggled getting off of blocks or whatever uh... but i guess the bill you have in his former defensive uh... coordinator as a lineback as coaches this help him and probably as as things go on here learn even more nuances
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: But he looked comfortable out there.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't look out of place.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's one major thing I could take away from him stepping into that role for Bobby Wagner.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: He looked comfortable.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, maybe with more snaps might be exposed, but in the limited series,
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: that he did have in the game overall.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: He looked comfortable.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that was a great takeaway.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: As he's actually able to get on the field in comparison to the other guy that, you know, it's being raved about so much.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: We haven't seen him on the field to really speak up, but Kane has been on there.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: He looks pretty solid for the most part right now.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, all of the guys you all named, I noticed him as well.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_04]: But another guy I do want to acknowledge in
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: I know AJ is talking about him in the past.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: His own, you know, just a special teamer, but Jerry Reeves.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: Jerry Reeves seems like, you know, this summer, you hear in the great things about him, he showed up in the Patriot's game, he flashed on defense.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: And he flashed again the day I thought, I mean, he just seems like he's making plays and the coaches trust him on defense.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: And as we kind of heard DQ say, he's going to probably be in those three safety packages, which kind of,
- 19:15[SPEAKER_04]: What the person but like I almost kind of forget about is he hurt like I people yeah
- 19:23[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so I must have missed him because that's the guy's name I have heard a while but that was who I thought was gonna be in those three safety packages but it seems like Jeremy Reeves is kind of climbing that ladder and this is a guy trusted because of how good he is on special teams like he's so good on special teams he's so smart on promo special team so if the guy can get on a field on defense and he's make a place you already know the coaches are gonna trust him so that's a good thing to see somebody like that kind of
- 19:50[SPEAKER_04]: to be, you know, one of those extra starters that Joe Witt kind of talks about.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: So he's one.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, our guy beat you twice.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, let's pause on.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's right point.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_05]: You still, you still got the floor, but we're going to talk about Reeves, but four snaps defensively last year.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_05]: That's it in zero and twenty twenty three.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think
- 20:14[SPEAKER_05]: And it's crazy because he's been a lead for a long time, right?
- 20:17[SPEAKER_05]: But he's only twenty eight years old.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: So like you're in your prime right now, if you're Jeremy Reeves and I think for somebody like him who is looking for that opportunity just to just to get on the field defensively as well as like all of those special safety and stance that he sees.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, I think this is a for him.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_05]: This is a big preseason.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like they're showing them like that that opportunity to get on the field defensively and what can you do with the starters?
- 20:43[SPEAKER_05]: All right, this is a big, big opportunity for him.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that in those snaps that he has seen with the first and second team, I think that he has done a really good job and made a really strong case for himself to like getting the mix for that third safety spot when the regular season comes around.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and like I said, as I got it, I trust even though we may not have seen him in the past play a lot of defensive snaps, but he's showing what he can do now and just because of his reputation and what he does on special teams.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I'm actually excited about the prospect of him being kind of at thursday because I mean, no knock on Percy Butler, but I just don't think Percy is ever kind of made the impact that make me feel comfortable when he's on the field.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, not to say he's out there, you know, messing up or having bad games that said in the third, but he's not out there don't anything impactful to me.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_04]: to notice that he's the third safety.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: So I think a Jeremy Reeves kind of stepping up in that spot makes me feel comfortable in, you know, moving on from Reeves.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'd be a kind of one to talk about each and a while.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_04]: Dieters, why is this a guy?
- 21:42[SPEAKER_04]: I noticed out there.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_04]: I was sad.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_04]: Now, the beyond the switch, I know Troy Hakeven and him said it on the telecast that it was the correct call, but I honestly didn't think that was a real horse call.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like I thought that was a little petty.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was because it was Joe Barrow, you know,
- 21:57[SPEAKER_04]: They were all there about the hurt Joe Barr on the reps had to protect them some kind of way.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_04]: So either way, I just thought it was nice to him and Doris Armstrong was kind of getting that pressure on the quarterback because that's been one of the concerns that we've been kind of worried about with this team.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_04]: Where is the past freshman to come from?
- 22:12[SPEAKER_04]: Are they going to be able to get to the quarterback fans wanted to trade for every edge, Russia that was available this past off season?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: And mind you, we haven't even seen Vi Miller yet.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: So hopefully when he gets into the full as a situation of past Russia, it's going to be create even more havoc.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_04]: So I do like what I've seen from the deepest of line as a whole, like they're showing that they can get to the quarterback.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully they can be in situations where they're able to create consistent pressure just Russia for.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: Like you don't want to blitz all the time, even though I know Joe Witt can bring the heat and he can bring the pressure
- 22:44[SPEAKER_04]: But you want to be able to see your front four get home consistently.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: So those back coverage guys, they can make it make life a lot easier.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_04]: But overall, I'm what if you are like the defense, I just thought the defense, they showed a lot of energy.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_04]: They were good.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_04]: But again, the only thing that was annoying to me was those penalties, even though some of them may have been a little bit questionable.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: But it's still something you want to see get cleaned up because that was an issue as you.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_05]: Um, where are we at?
- 23:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Kwam played well.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_05]: Um, what's up, J. B. A. L. She bully Rob.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yes, McGee is always heard shout out to do Sue is, uh, we're going to add you to the club of, uh, I hate Percy Butler.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_05]: Um, uh, where is Moneyball Mission Mitchell, Tensley?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_05]: I think that was probably right on cue given that it was a Monday night game.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_05]: He showed out.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_05]: former commander.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I did think that he had a statement to make.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, I mean, salute to him.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_05]: But you know what is what it is.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_05]: Birthdays happening all the time.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I don't know why they moved on.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_05]: Like, and like, I really don't know why they moved in the moment.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_05]: You said, yeah, it was, uh, but, you know, it was you got to do.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_05]: Um, where is so they said after the game,
- 24:09[SPEAKER_05]: Where is it?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_04]: We got a tree.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm waiting for.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_05]: Let's actually, don't know, let's see if they talk about Tremos.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_05]: Dan Quincy, he had a Peter's Metal Brian Robertson yesterday and he wanted to let the team know.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_05]: There's a ton of moving ports this time of the year.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, so that's Dan Quincy mentioned in Brian Robertson and a conversation that he and Adam Peters had with Brian.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_05]: So they knew yesterday that they wasn't, he wasn't playing the day.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_05]: Moving parts, IE, you probably gone.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_05]: You just probably last game with his breath.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_05]: And he thought something that while I'm scrolling outside, it was something else that I was looking for, but I can't remember.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I think we've talked about Brian Robinson a lot in trapping dive history.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: And this year, we've had different conversations in regards to him.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: Can they upgrade the run-and-back position, and then the draft happen, free agency happen?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: We all had our different faiths.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think that the news that leaked over the weekend is not, it shouldn't be built, built around, jacroskey merit.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: It should more so soon be the fact that, why can't I call it a bill?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: No, right.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: I used to work there.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_03]: You were in democracy.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's that's a foreign.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's just called Bill.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: We're out like this.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_03]: Bill is easy.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: My husband always names you.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: I said, I said, oh, here.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: I will never call you.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: You're career, right?
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, just call him.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_03]: It don't make call him to me.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_05]: Just call him to career.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_04]: He gave a reason why his name is Bill.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_04]: He said he had a ball here, but he was a kid and people called him little bit.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: So it just happened.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_04]: I call him low bells.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: So I call him Bill.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know Bill, but either either way, I don't think that he's the reason why you know the situation has happened with Brian Robertson.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think there was a disconnect going back to last year with him and his running style and how they really wanted him to to to to talk the right.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: And now final year to contract just three million do.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: You got a room where each running back in that room can place vessel teams and has place vessel teams as some portion of their career or willing to do so.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think that you just can't go into.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_02]: when regular season happens and having to wonder how to construct your roster as far as who's going to be active and inactive.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that it's coming out this time because they want to do right by beer off.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: It sounds crazy, but they want to give them an opportunity to land with a team now versus when the major cuts take place next Tuesday before next Tuesday at a certain time frame.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think that, um, yeah, you seeing the the last time you seem to be robbed was against the Eagles.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and that's just what it is.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think that the team is just going to do running back by committee.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: I see me here that someone is, as an RB one or not a RB one.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that's how Watson was looking at it.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think Watson was looking at it from standpoint of running back by committee and also not tipping their hand on what a certain player is going to do in that backfield because when B. Robbs in the game, you pretty much know that they're going to run the ball.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: Like ain't really no threat.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: And in any other aspect, offensively.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like now when you add in low bill, awesome, accurate journey magnacles, Chris Rodriguez, they can, they can all bring an element to that field that brings versatility.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it sucks because a lot of people are fans of B-Rop.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people aren't.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, a lot of people aren't.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: I could say, I wasn't a fan of his running style.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: And what I felt like he brought to the team.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, I think it was a good RB one week.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: Not a RB one at all in this league.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: Did he carry the ball most of the time for the same?
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but he wasn't RB one.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's just a jag.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: And we're doing the show some on.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think they don't know.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so I was going to say, you know, by the time tomorrow, he'll be released.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that's just my thoughts on being robbed.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, my thoughts and I like being robbed, you know, I was never not a fan of being robbed, but at the same time,
- 29:11[SPEAKER_04]: be brought was just kind of get average running the middle running back there was nothing special about it.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I think he, I don't even think he has ever a clips, eight hundred yards in his career.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's misgames every year.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you didn't, you know, every night.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I mean, but a lot of fans are acting like this is a huge huge loss or a huge huge blow to the team.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_04]: And my thing is, they don't make this move unless they are their confident of what they have in that room.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_04]: And we talked about, this is something else I've noticed, and I talked about it in the last couple of weeks.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_04]: Dan Quinn, when he was asked, you know, the strength of the team, and what position groups had the strength of the team?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_04]: Right up back was the first money name.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_04]: So, looking back on their levels of shoulder, they were so confident what they had, they're okay with letting B-Rob go.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_04]: And I know that they are letting them go early to just letting them get a head start on, you know, latching on someone else like to say an AJ before the cuts happen next week where everybody's living for a job.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: But at the same time, they're doing this because they're confident what they have.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_04]: And I trust what they see.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: I trust that they know what they want to run their system.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't think B. Broad was necessarily a hundred of a cent fit for the system they want to run.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like you said, when he's in the game, he's one dimension, you know they're going to run the ball.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_04]: Clif must to be unpredictable.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_04]: Clif wants guys in there that, you know, they can be kind of interchangeable.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_04]: They can do different things.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_04]: They can beat threats out of the backfield.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, they were confident in the mood.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_04]: I'm fine with it because like I said, if Bill shows up, you know, as the guy that he's been all summer, uh, honestly Chris Rodriguez has been a little bit of a surprise to me.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't know what his roster status was going to be, but he had a really good show on the night.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_04]: And obviously, he liked him.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: He was the first running back to get a carry tonight.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, you had these still have Ecuador who's obviously going to be your, you know, your pass catching threat out of the back.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_04]: He's not going to be the in between the tackles guy.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_04]: But they have a number of guys that can step in at any point.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_04]: and do different things for this team.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that they felt like that was more of a fit right now than what B-Rop can bring to the team.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't think it's this huge loss that a lot of fans think.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_04]: He had sure B-Rop was tough in the trenches.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_04]: He can get a tough yard or two.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: But I just don't think that B-Rop was special enough for some of the worry in it fans are doing it.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_04]: And say, oh, you can't rely on a rookie running back.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, rookie running best coming to lead a shot all the time.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, just be patient.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see what happens.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_05]: Um, let's close the book on trade Amos, uh, Amos.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think, um, it is what it is.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, trade Amos, uh, Dan Quincy at the end of some hamstring tightness.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_05]: So that kept them out.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_05]: It was a precautionary thing, but he would have played if this was the regular season.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and then one more thing.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, first off.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_05]: Boy, Quincy, he was excited about how the defensive line played the night.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_05]: I think we can all agree like they were playing Amped up and call us him having pretty early.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was like it got wise juiced up too.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_05]: Deity wise because like what the what the fuck?
- 32:12[SPEAKER_05]: like where just matches, I'm not going to just like slug them by the whole bottle horse collar and then and then the nerd that complained about the John I'm like, bro, like, but oh, but I brought it up because Coach said he wants to look at the tape of the horse collar called.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, bro, like, I mean, I get it.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_05]: You was coaching, so you probably didn't see the replay, but I'm like, right, you know, let's look at it.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't the most egregious horse called hot collar because I had to look at it double time.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_04]: Like, all right, I guess I could see what he called it.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_05]: That man went from shoulder pace to hooking in that jaw and just hit.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I just pulled him off.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_05]: Let's close out on the comments.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_05]: What do we have in here?
- 32:51[SPEAKER_05]: Money ball.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_05]: Ben told him all about be robbing.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_05]: He's handling the situation like the sore loser by not showing up to the game.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_05]: Terry didn't show up either.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_05]: Terry ain't show up saying calm it in show up.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_05]: So now what, bro?
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think, I think, I like some people got to understand how that stuff works.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like as an agent, if you don't know if your guys on the bubble of a team, like you're checking in to see, like, hey, is my guy going to make this squad?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: If not, like, hey, can we possibly get out of this sooner than later?
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: And why would he need to show it to the game?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we all know what's going on.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: Once that came out, you knew that the inevitable was taking place in no different than Jonathan Allen.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's just that J.A.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: was a higher paid athlete, but either once you put out their news like that, most teams not going to trade for him because you're going to cut them.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: So why, why would you need to do it?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: Terry McClellan.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on with that boy.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly,
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't understand what I'm not even thinking about.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not even thinking about him or San Kong.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_05]: I mentioned San Kong the name, but I don't.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, cause me coming back from an ACL.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: So that Terry, I just don't know.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't know.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm I'm out of conversation with him.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I mean, I'm going to try to get somebody on for his Thursday.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_05]: But so about by default, we're going to have to talk about him again, but yeah, I don't
- 34:23[SPEAKER_04]: But a lot of money bought, you know, money bars, a huge Terry van, which a lot of us are.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_04]: But he said, tree hinders and showed up, and he flew with the team, no excuse.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_04]: But again, Terry didn't show up.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_04]: So if you're going to hold it.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_05]: They also said on the on the on the on the on the broadcast that they literally have the terms and the AV dollars downpack on the contract.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_05]: The only thing to do it, that's holding them up now is guaranteed.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm pretty sure.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_05]: He would travel with the team if he feels like they just have one last piece to get it.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's why that's why he ended his whole time.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's been like that for the past two, three weeks.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: He just been waiting for them to get up to where he want to be.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: Guaranteed when he was, but with Terry, such a waste of may not even, they're not even in a speaking terms of the A, A, B in general.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, I was about to finish going.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I would say Duke Riley, you know, and only being with the team for one week, look good.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, almost had a touchdown.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, mall.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_04]: I got in the assignment for you, though, and I need a Josh Connelly junior cut up because I mean, my naked eye, he looked pretty damn good again, but again, that was just how you do.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to be real strategic with the two upcoming telework days I got.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to go economy and I'm going to find a couple of other players who had like a few about twenty twenty five snaps.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but yeah, I got you.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_05]: Where we at Bowie B robbers and lead our two, uh, uh, uh, two bat.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_05]: Um, Ecuador isn't even planning must love them on the air.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he and that same category is, uh, uh,
- 36:09[SPEAKER_05]: was that wouldn't have wagging her and hurt us and all of them.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_05]: If C-Rot makes the team, we got to thank the enemy for that pick.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_05]: Groot and Kenny was uplayer called Turner did all right and he had his little catch.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_05]: I wanted to see Tray Amos on the field.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_05]: I think we all did too, Kenny.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_05]: We was all talking about the matchup with Jamar and NT.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_05]: And Jamar did a plan to end up getting one catch, so.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I think we good.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_05]: And boy ends up saying Terry will be signed.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_05]: That's gonna wrap it up for us, schedule us.
